SPEAKER_02

Welcome to Let Me Catch You Up, the podcast where I explain reality TV to my husband.

SPEAKER_00

And I ask a lot of questions.

SPEAKER_02

I'm Liz, a longtime Bravo watcher who's been following Summer House for years.

SPEAKER_00

And I'm Pat, a casual observer who's been in the room, sometimes paying attention.

SPEAKER_02

Each week we're recapping the latest episode of Summer House, breaking down the drama, the relationships, and everything you might have missed. Whether you've watched every episode or you're just trying to keep up. We're here to catch you up. Let's get into it. Welcome back to Let Me Catch You Up. I think this week it felt like there were less crazy Summer House developments in regards to off the show, but I also had a very busy week at work, so it could have just been me being online less as well.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I I would agree. I did not see like a ton of stuff pop up, so I guess less like real-time developments going on, but what more can actually happen than what has already happened.

SPEAKER_02

So but there was a couple fun things I saw that Kyle in his DJ sets has been playing a song about like move west to the left, but the song's actually kind of a bop. So I was saying it's gonna be the song of the summer. I don't know if you saw I posted that on that. Yep. Gotta get that in my uh Spotify rotation. I saw that Jesse started the tour.

SPEAKER_00

I saw a couple clips, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

He did come to DC. We did not happen to catch that. Uh but I did also saw that he he performed with Molly from Southern Charm when he was in Charleston.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

But the clip I saw was mostly just her singing, and she's really good. So look good. Kyle and Carl stopped by SNL this past weekend. They were like backstage. Okay, so I saw a clip on Instagram, and it was both Kyle and Carl like walking out of like on stage after the show, being like live from New York. And I was like, oh my god, were they in SNL this week? So I like w rushed to watch the whole episode. I don't think they were in the episode at all. They just happened to be backstage, and then I think Kyle might have DJ'd the after party, but there were some really funny, there were a couple funny sketches, so worth going to watch that episode with all of the people. I'll definitely watch it.

SPEAKER_00

I just I usually watch it like I don't know, whenever I get time.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah. Okay. And then the big thing yesterday that Sierra attended the Met Gala. I think she was actually part of the like red carpet commentary hosting. Um, but she looked amazing. Um the theme of the Met Gala was like fashion is as art, but then there was a couple other like sub things about like structured looks and unfinished things or something like that. So her look was like to me, it looked like kind of like Victorian era undergarments. Um, but the like top part was kind of disconnected from the bottom part, so that part of like her butt was exposed. So it was kind of sexy, and then the bottom of it was more like bed spready, like like a comforter.

SPEAKER_00

It was very bouncy.

SPEAKER_02

Uh and I thought maybe that's like a nod to the bed bugs. Um, or maybe it not at all, but I mean she looked amazing. It it's you know, the looks a little bit out there, but like that's also the point of the Met Gala. So as far as like that compared to some of the other looks I saw, I really liked it in comparison to a lot of uh the other looks I saw at the Met Gala. Some were just like way too out there for me.

SPEAKER_00

To be honest, I saw her dress because you sent it to me, but I did not see any of the other dresses.

SPEAKER_02

So that's okay. Yeah. You didn't miss I don't think you really missed anything. Okay. Okay. Um since we're trying to record Tuesday right after the episode aired, I did not watch all of Watch What Happens live, but I just watched like the first few minutes. Um Jamie Lynn Siegler is the guest along with KJ this week.

SPEAKER_00

Well, KJ was on it, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, but there was the thing that I watched so far, and he asked KJ, you know, have have you heard from West? And he was like, Yes. West texted me the day after the reunion, but I was too scared. And he's like, I haven't looked at the message.

SPEAKER_00

He hasn't even looked at it.

SPEAKER_02

No, he hadn't looked at the text. He was like, it's the only unread text in my phone. And then he goes, Should I read it right now? And they're, you know, Andy's like, oh okay. Uh and then he like brings up out his phone. He's like, Oh, it's long. So then they, you know, Dara was in the audience, so they cut to her asking her about the reunion to kind of kill time while he's reading the message. And then he read it out loud on the show. Uh, I didn't write down the whole message, but he was like, I wanted to thank you for your articulation and kindness yesterday, despite being hurt. So this was like right after the reunion. Wes said, I've been off social and lost touch, I think, with how much hurt there was. And then he's sent a bunch of other things. Um, so it was like a nice message, and then KJ seemed pretty emotional actually, and he was like, you know, it hurts because me and him were so close, and he, you know, they talk a little bit to Jamie and then they like cut back to KJ, and like Andy's like, okay, like how are you doing after reading that? And he's like, I kind of want to cry right now. So, you know, KJ's definitely very emotional over everything. Um, and that's about as much as I watched, but we'll have to see if there's any other big takeaways from the episode. Interesting. Yeah. And like Jamie was like Andy asks Jamie kind of what she thinks about everything, and she's you know, just saying how everything is just not aging well this season.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, let's go ahead and put it.

SPEAKER_02

Uh okay. But yeah, that's a lot quicker than last week. A lot less to talk about. So uh should we dive into the episode?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Did did you actually catch what the name of this week's episode is?

SPEAKER_00

No, I didn't. Are you asking me or I'm looking it up? Oh, I thought you were like testing me, like you knew and Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So it's that it's called the Turntables Have Turned.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_02

Which okay, interesting.

SPEAKER_00

Just the turntables have turned? Yeah. Yeah, it should have been how the turntables have turned. Oh well.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Okay. Well, it's episode 14. I know that much of season 10. And it starts with like a really heartwarming segment, but you know, they go to this, they volunte a couple of them volunteer at this camp. Um, but right off the bat, the episode starts and it just set you know how it usually says like the date, the time, whatever. It just says Thursday. So this could have been any Thursday of the summer. We're I'm not really sure. And there's there's a lot of things where the timeline is not very straight in this episode. Um, because the episode ended last week at the end of the softbar soft launch. And from last week, we saw like that Amanda and Sierra met up on a Thursday, supposedly, and then maybe that was also the day of the softbar launch. But that doesn't make any sense because later at the It Girl party, Lindsay talks to Amanda and she's like, Yeah, seeing Sharon last night, and they said that the it girl party was Wednesday, so the timeline is not timeling in this episode so far for me.

SPEAKER_00

Interesting. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Like it doesn't matter, yeah, it's not important.

SPEAKER_00

It's just yeah, interesting that they can't get it straight.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So anyway, it's a Thursday in the summer, and Jesse Carl Ben Sierra and West go to Camp Sunrise, and Jesse explains that it's a camp for kids with cancer and their siblings, and it's you know, a free day camp where kids can kind of be themselves, and it's obviously geared towards kids going through cancer and cancer survivors, and you know, this whole thing really just like also making me like Jesse more.

SPEAKER_00

Same.

SPEAKER_02

But no, it was really nice to see that side of him. And last season they did volunteer as well in the city, so you know that's cool that Jesse has that um inclination to kind of volunteer and give back. Um they do some cute stuff with the kids, playing some games and stuff. And we, you know, we have a scene where like they're it looks like they're kind of playing volleyball, but they're using like a kickball. So I'm not exactly sure what the game was, but then we you know Wes kind of like hits the ball towards Sierra and it hits the ground, and they're being a little bit kind of flirty, and Sierra's confessional, it cuts to her, and and they're like, Oh, have you missed West as a friend? And she's like, Yes, I naturally want to gravitate to wherever he's at, but the past two years I haven't been able to do that, so now I'm free. Uh not free for too long. Uh but little did she know. And then I think like the other thing of note as far as like character development-wise, Jesse mentions that he recognizes that he came into the summer looking for a relationship with the wrong person, and he's a little bit lonely, so he's been looking for a relationship to fill the void, but he realizes that he needs to keep working on himself, and every time he volunteers, it's a good reminder of like how good he has it. So that was nice. Um, and then we you know it a montage we see a montage of them dancing with the campers.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's pretty funny.

SPEAKER_02

It did remind me a little bit of that show Bug Juice that was like on Disney Channel back in the day. It was probably like late 90s, early real I think Disney was ahead of their time because it was like an early reality show. I think about a sleepaway camp.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think I I don't think I got Disney Channel back when the 90s.

SPEAKER_02

Sorry, you had a deprived childhood. It aired from 1998 to 2001.

SPEAKER_00

Looking it up to see if it looks familiar at all.

SPEAKER_02

The song was like Bug Juice, it doesn't come in a jar. Bug juice comes from who you are.

SPEAKER_00

No, none of this looks familiar at all. Well, but okay.

SPEAKER_02

It made me like really want to go to sleep away camp as a kid. Nice. But I never got to live that dream, but that's okay. Back to Summer House. Uh we go back to the city, and it's supposedly Wednesday, so we went from Thursday to Wednesday. I'm just saying, make it make sense. But you know, it's uh we see it's the It Girl Party. Levi's back again. Levi's in a lot of this episode. Good for Levi.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_02

I think sh and I guess we probably knew this, but she's a party planner.

SPEAKER_00

Did we know that?

SPEAKER_02

I didn't remember. I don't know. I don't know. It's been so it's we've lived multiple lifetimes since the beginning of this season.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's so I don't remember. Yeah. And the party looks nice. Lindsay, Sierra, Mia, Amanda Cub. I did note there was a DJ and it's a girl, not Kyle. Do you think Kyle was pissed once he saw that?

SPEAKER_00

Uh he he's probably thinking, like, oh, like I'm I'm big time now, I'm I'm going to Vegas.

SPEAKER_02

So oh maybe, yeah. That it girl party was too uh below him.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But that would have been kind of messed up to have a guy DJ at an it girl party.

SPEAKER_00

So true.

SPEAKER_02

She had no choice anyway.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's a good point.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah, I think the big thing of note from the it girl party, Amanda and Lindsay have a conversation. And Amanda's kind of like, oh yeah, you kind of just like ran out of the party last or whenever it was. And she's like, oh yeah, I had to relieve the nanny. But I also like I was bombarded by Sharon. And she talks about how the last time she saw her was her bridal shower. And she talks about how seeing Sharon brought up a lot of hurt um that she had caused Lindsay. And I think, you know, I know last episode you were like, God, she's being so hard on the whole thing and like awkward. But Lindsay does remind us that last or two seasons ago, Sharon and I think her partner went on TV on Summer House and were like, I don't think you should marry her. So I think part of the reason Lindsay's so upset still with Sharon is that Sharon felt the need to comment on their relationship on TV in a negative way.

SPEAKER_00

In the flashback, they just showed the part where she confronted Sharon and basically said, So you told Carl that we shouldn't get married or something, and it seemed like she was kind of on the spot. So there was another scene that they showed a couple of seasons ago where they had that conversation that she was.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they didn't they didn't show it in the flashback, but two seasons ago, be like the season leading up to when they were supposed to get married, Carl goes to like visit his mom and they have this conversation and yeah, it's definitely brought up on air.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because the way she phrased it was that um well she said like in context of like, well, Kyle's at least Kyle's parents didn't go on national television and say that you shouldn't get married or whatever and or should break up with her.

SPEAKER_02

But like kind of Amanda's parents were kind of like you shouldn't marry Kyle. True. So um, but I think the big thing is that it seems Carl has never apologized. Sharon's never apologized, but Carl has also never apologized or acknowledged that that was kind of shitty to happen. So I kind of get where Lindsay's coming from, but I also it's been two years, so it's kind of like, yeah, just let it go, you'll be a more Zen happier person, but I also understand why she's just like I don't want anything to do with her.

SPEAKER_00

She doesn't strike me as a Zen happy person, so I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Uh okay, so after the it girl party, we immediately cut to probably my favorite scene of the summer.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But again, with the timeline, it's Saturday, August 30th. So normally they arrive at the summer house on a Friday. So I'm like, what is going on? But anyway, we get there. Sierra is dressing as the Lorax. It's never explained why, which I actually kind of like. Um is hilarious. She has like pillows or like a fat suit stuffed into this orange spandex outfit, and she's putting on you know the yellow mustache and everything. And then we see her like stretching and stuff, and Mia and Lindsay are arriving, and so there's like a basket of water guns by the front door, and it just says like choose your weapon, and Sierra has some water guns, and she's like, Come on, come in the house. Because like, as soon as Mia opens the door, she's like, What is this? She's like, What's going on? And so they like walk in and then she starts shooting them with water guns, and they pick them up and like kind of try to fight back, and then she's like, guns down. She's like, Wanna be on my team? So it's never really explained why they do this huge water gun fight, but it's awesome.

SPEAKER_00

It's hilarious that they're doing like inside, also, just getting water all over the house.

SPEAKER_02

I know. I was like, maybe this is why the uh house went up for sale. Right. The owners are too fed up. I feel like they probably lost their security positive this plus the uh late night dances on the kitchen island with the spraying of the sink water, all the water damage in the house. Yeah. Um and oh, Lindsay also reminds us, she's like, Yeah, you want me on your team. I was a sharpshooter in high school, and she reminds us that she was in ROTC.

SPEAKER_00

Have they shown that before?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, I forgot, but I remember in one of the early seasons this be like her talking about this.

SPEAKER_00

Um did they have sharpshooters in ROTC?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think that's how it works, but I didn't do it, so who knows? They probably do like shooting practice, and maybe she was like a good shot or something.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I was wondering too. I was like, do they actually practice shooting in ROTC?

SPEAKER_00

Uh it would not surprise me if they're shooting guns for ROTC.

SPEAKER_02

I agree. Okay, so after Lindsay and Mia agree to be on the Loraxes team, KJ and Dara arrive, and as soon as like um they come in and start getting uh shot with the water gun, they just like, oh now you piss me off. But they like grab the guns and join in, and then again Sarah's like, weapons down, and they all listen. And I'm like, I like how they're like engaging with her rules, even though they didn't sign up for this. I I like how everyone was game.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Besides Amanda, which of course, of course, Amanda's not fun.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So Carl like makes the announcement about like going to the beach and all that, and he says, be ready in 40 minutes to leave. But I'm guessing that they all knew that they had to be there at a specific time to get ready for something and leave shortly thereafter. So I'm wondering if that had something to do with like her being like, okay, we're all gonna be coming to the house around the same time, so we can kind of like ambush everybody as they're coming in.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, makes sense, but it is funny like that she arrived there by herself early just to do this. Yeah, yeah. How much were they surprised first, like expecting that something was gonna be going on?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It's a good question. Okay, but then Levi, Bailey, Carl, Jesse arrive, and at first I think they only see one car, but then they other car comes up and uh Sears like double ambush. Uh, but they I think Levi like spots them and then just like kind of like runs out of the house. So like they're like, oh, we're not going in there. So then cut KJ runs outside and starts you know attacking them. Um so then the only people left to arrive are Kyle, Amanda, and Ben. Amanda like gets spared for some reason, which said she was wearing like suede or something. She's wearing a suede jacket. Okay, whatever. She shouldn't get special treatment. But I was wondering if they just spared her because they didn't they wanted to really get Kyle and Ben, and she came in like so much earlier than them, so they were like fine, would just spare her. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe they could just tell by her face that she looked like she was already in a bad mood, so maybe.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but yeah, so Kyle and Ben, they just everybody just piles on and sprays them and they don't run away, so they get soaked. And everybody, you know, meets in the kitchen, they have a little chat, and Carl's like, It's National Beach Day, so we're all gonna go to the number one beach in the US. And Lindsay's like, Oh, I thought you were gonna say it was the two-year anniversary of our breakup. So then we learn Lindsay's hosting dinner that night, and it's gonna be like second annual freedom dinner, because last season she hosted a freedom dinner, kind of like celebrating her one year of freedom from her relationship with Carl. It's so Lindsay. Yeah. And then they all get ready to go to the beach. The boys all shave, so they all have mustaches.

SPEAKER_00

Yep, mustache rides.

SPEAKER_02

I told you Kyle was growing a mustache. I noticed it last episode.

SPEAKER_00

I believed you. I just said I didn't notice. I think it was pretty faint last week.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and then we have a a heartfelt moment with KJ. He talks about how the summer has changed his life and having felt feeling accepted and feeling like he has this group of guys that have accepted him that he can be comfortable with has been really meaningful to him. And he's never felt like one of the boys before. That was super sweet. The other only other note I have before them getting ready for the beach was on another note about West's outfit for the beach day. Did you notice?

SPEAKER_00

Like his bathing suit? I'm trying to remember like what he was wearing.

SPEAKER_02

So they're like getting in the car. I don't know. It looked like something like Martha Stewart would wear. Honestly, it was like striped linen pants that were like kind of flowy, and then some sort of like white top, but then he had like a gray like sweater tied around his shoulders and a white hat. It was like very coastal chic, but very much like what uh middle-aged or older women woman would wear in my mind. Yeah. Uh okay, so then they're all driving to the beach, and it in the car is Jesse, Sierra, West, Mia, Bet, and Lindsay, and they talk about Sierra's conversation with Amanda and from like debriefing why she didn't wasn't at the house last weekend. Um, and they were like, Oh, Amanda seemed in good spirits or something. And West was like, Really? She walked into the house complaining. Which is interesting that he would notice her mood. Um, and then Sierra talks about how Amanda was saying that she had a Weekend because Kyle, you know, Kyle wasn't there, and she gets anxious when he's in the apartment. And Sierra talks about how she suggested maybe they need some time apart, maybe they take some space, still go to therapy, still date each other. And like a Lindsay chimes in and she's like, Still date each other. Like, I don't even think I don't think they're actually like dating now. And Sierra's like, Yeah, the taking the space, they could fall back in love with each other. And Wes chimes in, like, yeah, give them time to miss each other. And then Lindsay's like, you know, I don't disagree with this advice, but to me, if I heard my my girlfriend like taking a month apart, like this seems like a really last-stitch effort. And she says Amanda deserves more than she's getting, but she loves Kyle, she's known him the longest, um, and he has feelings too. So I didn't really know. She's like, she kind of said, like, she gets she feels like a kind of like her mama bear feelings, like getting activated or whatever. But I wasn't really sure what that meant because I got the sense she was feeling a little bit defensive of Kyle there, but then she really goes so hard at Kyle later at the freedom dinner. So I was confused.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think she was defending Kyle at all. I think um I don't I don't really know what her point was because yes, it it is a last ditch effort. Like that's that's kind of like where they're at. I think everybody recognizes that. Maybe she just hasn't been around as much, so she's like shocked by it all. Yeah, maybe that's true. But I don't think she was trying to defend him. I think um if anything, she was trying to like you know present herself as a more like neutral person, like I'm about to attack him. But like keep in mind, like I'm friends with him, so I'm it's this is tough love from a friend, not just like me attacking him. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe, yeah. That's a good point. Okay, so then they get to the beach and they're kind of just showing different things of them hanging out on the beach and a little bit of Carl West and is it Jesse playing volleyball and talking about how Carl is free also. Um, and then uh we get a West confessional about him and Sierra, and he's like, Yeah, we're okay with being cool, but and everyone else is like, what's going on? Uh, I'm very comfortable being friends. I don't want to speak for her. Uh, let's have fun and just get to the fall. So it's interesting. Again, it seems like he's kind of downplaying any potential for any sort of romantic interest. He's like, you know, we're cool being friends, let's just get to the fall. But then in real time, he's being very flirty and like at the freedom dinner, he talks about how much it means to him and all this stuff. So again, I think he's kind of playing down. I feel like his confessionals that he probably filmed later on, he's kind of playing down the relationship.

SPEAKER_00

After you mentioned that last week, I was kind of thinking about that in this one. Like, is this him kind of playing damage control later on saying like I think?

SPEAKER_02

I wasn't pursuing anything with her, just friends.

SPEAKER_00

We were always just gonna be friends, and like everybody else is getting so excited and like overhyping it and stuff like that. But he's not doing a very good job in you know making it clear, like, hey, we're just back together as friends, like let's not go too fast, let's not go too far. Like I I do think he's kind of like leading her on a little bit, so yeah, totally. Which there's a history of, so yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um and then Jesse and Ben check in with each other, and Jesse's like, everything good with the missus, and they show a couple different shots of Ben and Sabrina like making out and stuff. Who takes selfies making out?

SPEAKER_00

I'm just thinking of the same thing.

SPEAKER_02

It's weird.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Uh but yeah, Jesse's kind of like, oh, how are you guys doing? And he spats, and he spats, and then Ben's like, no, she doesn't spat.

SPEAKER_00

Doesn't spat.

SPEAKER_02

So weird. But he does say uh she wears her heart on her sleeve, and that's very like he talks about how that's super reassuring for him, which he didn't really realize, but he actually needs in a relationship. Him and I would not be a match at all. Way too needy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

He's like talking about to Jesse, and he's like, Yeah, I haven't said I love you to her yet. Because Jesse's like, Oh, are you gonna ask her to be your girlfriend? And he's like, It sounds like he's maybe gonna ask her and say he loves her at the same time. Um, and he says he hasn't said I love you to anyone in 15 years, and then he tells a little bit of a really like traumatic story with his family, where you know, we've heard before that he was raised really religious, born-again Christian, and he says that his dad had said, like, you know, you may do some things I don't agree with. I for I didn't write it down vermatim, but he said that he had an indiscretion in high school with a girlfriend. So I'm guessing that means he had sex with his girlfriend in high school, and then his dad didn't talk to him for years, which is super sad. Yeah. Uh and so I get the sense that like Ben's so scarred from that, so he doesn't really open up or like he's cautious about relationships and bringing those relationships around his family because of the one time he did that early on in his dating life. His dad didn't talk to him for a few years.

SPEAKER_00

It also gives a little bit of context to the comment that he made in the last episode when like Sabrina kind of like nudged him to be like, What did your mom say? Like the next person you bring home is gonna be, you know, somebody serious. And now that we know that it's kind of like makes you think it's a really big deal for him. It's a really big deal, but also like seems like there's some pressure.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, definitely. Okay, so then we get the the hard-to-watch conversation with Mia and Amanda, and Mia's like, Oh, how was your weekend alone? Uh and then Amanda's like, How was after soft bar you guys went for drinks? And Mia's like, Well, first of all, you're a bitch because you left me, you were supposed to come with me. I'm like, Yes, Mia, give it to her. Even though she was joking. And Amanda says, 'Cause I felt so unwanted. And then we see the flashback where her and Jesse are talking about how some people are getting drinks after sophomore. I mean, it's Sabrina, Ben, West, and Sierra. But like apparently Mio went too, so it's not like it was just a double date.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I I was a little bit confused because I thought it was going to be just the well Sabrina also invited Jesse. So is it just everybody except for like Kyle and Amanda?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. So then so yeah, so they they show that flashback and Amanda's like, that's so weird, I don't think I got an invite. And it says three days ago. So I'm sorry to like harp on this timeline thing, but it's now a Saturday. If three days ago, like okay, that was either Thursday or Wednesday, but Wednesday was the it girl party. I'm very confused. Anyway, I'll let it go. But okay, maybe it was Tuesday, but then when was the camp thing? That was Thursday.

SPEAKER_00

It seems like they just don't care.

SPEAKER_02

They're just they're showing things out of order, it's fine. Uh okay. And then Amanda says, The last thing I would ever do is invite them on an intimate date. They just became friends. And Mia's like, yeah, I think it's too soon. And then Amanda's like, even if they got back together, it would make me like it would make me the happiest person in the whole world. Okay, but he needs to be ready. And Mia's like, yeah, he needs to be all the way in, and he can't fuck with her again. And Amanda is like, I'm skeptical and weary of him, which something like when she said that, I was like, I don't know, like getting chills or something. I was like, you're weary of him, or you're just like upset with him for what he's doing because you like him. And yeah, Mia's like, my concern is making sure he doesn't find his way back in and then be like, I'm not ready to do anything too serious right now. And this is where Amanda says, Sierra's a very special, incredible person. You need to treat her differently than every other person in the world. I don't trust anyone with I don't trust anyone with her heart. I would die for that girl. The way I'd cut West off in one second, if she looked at me, if she gave me one look, I'd attack. I don't even know what to say.

SPEAKER_00

Is any of it real? Like, I know they're close friends, and like she probably thinks she means these things she's saying, but I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

On Watch What Happens Live in the beginning tonight, Andy asked Jamie Lynn, like, what did you make of this? And she was like, Maybe she was trying to convince herself, like talk herself out of the way. That's what it feels like to me. Like she's potentially doing something with West or liking him.

SPEAKER_00

I think the feelings have started. Maybe they both realize they're kind of flirting and stuff, um, but nothing has actually happened, and she's kind of doubling down to kind of like psych her out of it, be like, no, no, no, no, she is my best friend. Nobody should ever do that to her. Like, I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Hard to know what to make of that. It doesn't make any sense given what we know now. Like what happened. Hopefully at the reunion they show that scene and then ask Amanda explain Amanda to explain herself. Yeah. Yeah. Not that she can, but Right.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, okay, so then Kyle and Sierra chat and it talk about like how did couples therapy go? And Kyle's like, yeah, I thought it was, you know, it's good progress that we went. And he's like, but the question is, are we both going to put in the effort? So Kyle asks Sierra, like, what did Amanda tell you about everything? And then she is like, Yeah, you know, it seems like she was happy to go. But I feel like at the same time, a lot of your frustration with each other exists because you each never have a moment when you're in your apartment because you're kind of on top of each other. Would it be a crazy idea if you guys physically separated for a month? I don't really think this makes sense.

SPEAKER_00

I'm away would heal the relationship.

SPEAKER_02

Well, also, like basically I think Zira's point is like maybe you guys just need space. Like, you don't have space away from each other when you're in the city because you're in an apartment together. But if we believe like the beginning of the season, with her being like, you haven't been around because you've been DJing so much, it seems like she's had plenty of space. So that didn't really make sense to me. But Kyle, it seemed like he's kind of caught off guard by this conversation about potentially like living apart for a month. And he's like, Oh, have you talked to her about this? Is this like a fresh idea? And Sierra's like, Yeah, she'd be open to it, but didn't know if you'd be open to it. It's not a fresh idea. And Kyle is shocked, at least in his confessional, that these conversations have happened without his awareness in the friend group. Um, and he's like, you know, we we're supposed to be putting it all out there in therapy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, like she's being more honest with other people than in their like intimate therapy sessions.

SPEAKER_02

Right. So he's like, I feel like there's an elephant in the room.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I I got the impression that as soon as she started talking, he knew that this was not a fresh idea. Because he just looked like he was bummed out instantaneously. Like when he asked the question of like, is this something that she would be receptive to? It wasn't saying like, oh, like I'm interested if she is, like, it was like a a confirming question of if you've guys talked about this and she wants to do this, that means like the relationship is over. I I I think that's kind of where his head was at.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, potentially. The only other thing I have from the beach is like Ben gets out of the water and Tier's like, look at George Washington over here, because like his curly hair is like slicked down, and then there's like curls, so it kind of looks like like uh one of those wigs. And then Billy is also like, you look like someone from the Adams family, so it kind of looks like Gomez Adams with his like slick back and then the curls on the bottom. Okay, so they all go back from the beach and we learn that Lindsay's got a chef to come to the house, and uh it's Chef Frank. Later we learn his name. I was kind of wondering if there was some sort of like thing going on with Lindsay and Chef Frank. Because I was like, Oh, he's kind of good looking. And then later when once she gets ready for dinner and comes down, he's like, Oh, you clean up nice.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, well, yeah, they kind of like hugged and kissed at the beginning. I noticed that also, but I just figured they were like really good friends. Who knows?

SPEAKER_02

I don't think they were that good of friends because she started asking him, Oh, did you always want to be a chef?

SPEAKER_00

And he's like, That's a good point, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Well, it's gonna be a chef or a DJ.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Yeah, so I guess they don't know each other that well. Honestly, there's been moments, and now I I feel like nothing is out of the question, but there's been moments with Lindsay and West where I'm like, Is something going on there? Like the there's like the sunscreen thing, and then like uh she shoots him like with the water gun. He's like, ah, you shot my wiener, and he was and then she's like doubt I could find it or something like that. So I don't know, they're very flirty together. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Uh okay. Well, while everyone is getting ready for dinner, we see Amanda kind of stop by West and Jesse's room, and she's like really flirty with West for a moment. And then also we see Levi and Bailey getting ready, and Levi's kind of checking in on Bailey with like, you know, what's the vibe with you and Carl? And she's like, I don't know, we've been sending flirty texts all summer, but Ball's kind of in his court, and then people start coming down for dinner. Jesse looks like he's like trying to make a martini, but I don't know if he's supposed to shake it and forgot the top wasn't on.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Right. Well, I think the top was on, and he he shook it without putting his hand on the top, he just wasn't holding it shit.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so he spills martini on his shirt, and then he's like talking with Bailey, and he's like, Do I need a change? Like, is it gonna stain? And she's like, Yeah, fine. And then she starts kind of like helping him air his shirt out.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It looks like she's giving him a hand jump.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_02

Because we just see like the back of Jesse and like her moving her hand up and down.

SPEAKER_00

That's pretty good.

SPEAKER_02

Uh Sierra and Mia are chatting, and then KJ comes in and they've got their new grills, so they put those on. Uh Carl and Bailey are flirting. They talk about how he liked her white see-through dress that she wore to the soft bar launch. And I thought it was interesting because earlier in the episode, Carl says he's six foot five, but when Bailey was talking to him, she didn't look that short. Like, I feel like maybe she's the height like taller than Kyle, because I felt like Kyle looked really short next to him last episode in the soft bar launch. And in this episode, I just I don't know, I just thought I was like, wow, Bailey is like angles.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe she had heels on too. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I don't know. The internet's not always accurate, but I thought I Googled that she was like 5'6 and that Kyle is 5'11. Yeah, so I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

And then Sierra has like a beautiful like mesh red dress on. I wish I felt like they didn't really like give us a full good shot of her outfit, but it was like see-through, looked like she had like a thong on, and then like the top had some sort of like Madonna-esque type, like pointy design on the boobs. It was unique, it was cool. And then Lindsay kicks off the freedom dinner, and she's like, This exact date one year ago, I hosted a freedom dinner, and then we see the flashback of her pregnant being like to Carl, thank you for setting me free. And then we learn that she's calling it the Lost Supper, and she's like, We're gonna play a game, lost and found, and everybody has to talk about something they lost recently and something they found, just like Carl lost me, but found a bunch of thirsty girls in his DM. Like that wasn't recent, so I didn't really follow like the joke or the line. It's like kind of funny, but it's also kind of like you know how you can be like, oh, too soon for a joke. It's like it's been too long for this joke, Lindsay.

SPEAKER_00

It's just overplayed. It's like it's it was funny at first. Uh, and honestly, it was funny like early on in the in the beginning when like you know, like the little like digs and stuff like that. Um, it was funny, but like now it's just like you kind of roll your eyes. It's like, all right, let's move on.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we get it.

SPEAKER_00

But we we get it.

SPEAKER_02

I like Mia's like, baby, I haven't had a drink yet. Lindsay, goddamn, can you get us some wine? In reaction to like this whole game they're gonna do. Uh, but Lindsay cut kicks it off. She's like, I've lost all timelines, but I found my dream girl in reference to her daughter. Uh Bailey's talking about how you know she's lost a bad relationship and found her joy again and ability to laugh and date and flirt. And Sierra's like, should you make out with Carl right now? So Carl goes in for the makeout, and then everybody's like screaming, like it looked like a pretty good kiss, but it it was like a intense, like full-on, full tongue, immediate makeout. It was aggressive, but she does say it was better than Ben's kiss, I think.

SPEAKER_00

She does, yeah. And then the uh producer tells Carl that also.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so he's like, suck it. But then he's like, Yeah, it was a really good makeout. And then he's like, you know, it's like when you go to plug a charger into the wall and you nail it on the first plug, it just landed.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So maybe he has like really old plugs that are like hard to get the plug in. Cause I'm like, that doesn't happen that often where it's hard to nail it on the first plug.

SPEAKER_00

It was such a random analogy. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah, he's like, yeah, Ben's the Australian bachelor, but he's got nothing on me. Uh so then we get more lies from Mr. West. I guess I lost my voice last summer, but this summer I found the ability to speak up and found a friendship and relationship that was certainly lost for a long time and felt like a zillion pounds off my shoulders. It means the world to me. It's really important to me. Like Kyle is like, oh, and Sierra's obviously like touched by that.

SPEAKER_00

I think the most like sad and frustrating part about it is like how deeply Sierra buys into the stuff that he's saying. And like she, you know, like goes and kisses him, and while he's saying it, she's like tearing up a little bit, and like and you can just tell that she's just kind of like let her guard down. She's all in, she's like, whatever he wants, I'll I'll do. If he wants a relationship, I'm here for it. If it's a friendship, maybe I'll be disappointed, but you know, it's we're gonna try it. So like we knew it was gonna get messy, but we didn't know how deeply invested into this relationship she was gonna be by the end of this season. So it's kind of sad to see.

SPEAKER_02

Definitely really sad to see.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, my notes said West lost my voice last summer, blah blah blah blah.

SPEAKER_02

So you took notes this week?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I took a lot of notes.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. This whole like losing his voice thing and finding it like again, later in this episode, again, we see him find his voice for Amanda. So yeah, not much else to say. And then we transition to KJ, and we learn really heartbreaking news that KJ lost his brother when he was a kid, and his brother was about 17 or 17, about to be 18. Um, so he just talks about like missing an older brother figure, and like, you know, his dad wasn't around, so he ha hasn't had like a stable father figure in his life, and so that's made it harder for him to open up with men, and it's been nice having the guys this summer. So that was really emotional and sweet to see that and kind of like a references back to when they were like shaving musta their mustaches and him talking about how nice it's been to be accepted and like feel like he has a group of guys this summer, which also explains like why KJ's so hurt and feeling so emotional about the betrayal and lies from West in real time. Um, and then we have Sierra. She lost a huge weight off her shoulders of having to dislike the person. Where and then she says, This was like really hard to hear, that I genuinely love the most. And so she says, Wesling, thank god we finally talked, even though it was off of some bullshit. I found um, and then she's she jokes, and this summer I found the bars, I found the clubs, which was really funny. She rarely went out in past seasons, uh so she's been going out a lot more this summer. And Kyle's like, only took five years, woo. Um, but yeah, back to your previous point about like, yeah, we don't believe anything Wes is saying, but it's obvious that Sierra really believes him, at least at this time, and feels like he's being genuine, and that's like really heartbreaking to see how like relieved and happy she is to be like, okay, we're best friends again. I can like be myself around you and really enjoy this relationship.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we we talked before about how like West keeps on like spitting that narrative about, you know, I spent the last two years trying to be so careful and rebuilding this thing and and being sensitive about what I do and say around Sierra. And I think what's more significant is how for two years Sierra has been keeping this guard up because she knows that this person that she cared about really hurt her and she's like refusing to let her guard down. And then after two years, she finally got kind of worn down and said, like Alright, yeah, I'm I'm willing to see where this goes. And then in a matter of a couple months it comes crumbling down.

SPEAKER_02

So Right. Which kind of gets back to the significance and why this is such a big deal in the first place. Exactly.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It's not just like, oh, I used to date that guy, now he's dating someone that I was close with. Like to your point, she finally lets her guard down and is like opening herself up again. Like biggest fear is getting embarrassed and hurt again. And then they do it. What they did. Um yeah, so then this is when Sierra talks with West, kisses him on the cheek, and then Carl and Bailey are like Carl's like, Oh, my heart's racing. Is your heart racing? And then they're like, Let's hear Kyle's. And then Lindsay goes, Kyle lost his wedding ring but found his DJ career. And Jesse goes, Oh, she's on one tonight, which was I I thought was good commentary.

SPEAKER_00

Funny that Lindsay came up with the game. I'm sure she like premeditated all these comments that she made.

SPEAKER_02

Oh and then Jesse's like talking to Kyle and he's like, I know you got a new manager. I was wondering what the plan is with like the music and stuff. And it I was like, Oh, he's like asking for a friend. He's like, Can you hook me up with your manager?

SPEAKER_00

I didn't think about that. Who is your manager and what is their phone number? Just out of curiosity.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like you know, what's your plan? Do they have any like availability for additional clients? Uh, but Amanda's like, oh, he's going to Vegas. Like, she kind of has this like smug smirk on her face or something.

SPEAKER_00

She looked very smug the entire time.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Which I'm curious. It seems it doesn't really seem like Amanda. I mean, who knows? They don't we don't see everything, but it doesn't really seem like Amanda really like put Lindsay up to this. It's just like Lindsay's like, I'm gonna stir the pot. But Kyle's like, I spent the last two months going back and forth with the manager. I haven't signed anything yet. Uh, this manager works with a lot of big act, and I'm trying to treat the DJ thing like a career, not a hobby. Yes, I'm going to Vegas next weekend to play marquee, not just Vegas, but I'm like trying to selectively choose where I go. And someone's like, Oh, are you gonna get a residency? And he's like, Oh, I'm working on it for 2026. So then Lindsay's like, Well, did you have a conversation before you made this decision with Amanda, or did you make it on your own? Did you have a conversation as a partner before you decided? And Kyle's like, Well, I haven't decided yet. And Lindsay's like, So this is your conversation, and Kyle's like, Well, I was planning on having it a little more one-on-one.

SPEAKER_00

Finally, the tension kind of cuts, everybody like laughs a little bit.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and we did see uh however many episodes ago when they had the conversation in their kitchen in their apartment about how he was like, Yeah, I've been talking to a manager, so it's not like this is the first Amanda's hearing that he might sign with a manager.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's not a surprise, I think. Lin Lindsay's just instigating and and like uh exaggerating a lot of the the comments. But yeah, they've they've talked about it before, and his point was kind of like, I haven't signed anything, I want to have a conversation about it, but to be fair, like they're having marriage counseling and stuff like that, like they're having other conversations, and so maybe that's like on the back burner, but I don't know. It I think it was a little bit low to bring this up in front of the entire house in this yeah situation.

SPEAKER_02

I agree. Amanda didn't come last weekend, so when would they have chatted about it? I'm just kidding. Uh but no, I thought it was very aggressive of Lindsay to go so hard on this. Um, okay. And then Sierra's like, but you're taking on another business venture. And Kyle's like, you know, I've been traveling promoting Loverboy, like even before the DJing thing, it you know, he did a lot of events to promote, probably at bars and stuff to promote Loverboy. But he's like, you know, the DJing brings me joy and happiness and it pays the bills. And Lindsay's like, well, you guys are married and should be aligned on future goals together as a family. And Kyle's like, well, the DJs I aspire to be are married with kids and their wives support them. And Lindsay's like, yeah, but they were already DJs before they were married with kids. You took on this career without talking to your wife about it. Again, this is like if Amanda wants to have this conversation with Kyle, great, but why is Lindsay having this conversation on her behalf? Like, it's just weird.

SPEAKER_00

I I don't really understand what's going on. I so it sounds like Lindsay had a conversation with Amanda, and Lindsay's taking it upon herself to be like, Amanda can't speak up for herself, so I'm going to do it for her. I'm must like say all the things that she wants to say on her behalf, which I don't like, but let's just say for argument's sake that that's true that Amanda's like, I I want to tell Kyle all these things. I'm just kind of like he intimidates me and I'm scared and I don't know how to bring it up. Even if that's the case, Lindsay should be addressing that like maybe like in private with Kyle. Like, hey, I I've talked, you know.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Even even if she's gonna go hard like that, she should have brought it. Yeah. Even if she's doing it on camera, like one-on-one, why not do it one-on-one with him?

SPEAKER_00

Right. What a roller coaster this season has been. But uh m my hot take from this episode was that Kyle may actually be in the right. Like so he started laying out some of the arguments and he was like, you know, I worked really hard on my business, Loverboy. And at that point in time, it was kind of a failing business. He found something that he enjoys doing, and at least he thinks he's pretty good at. Um, and it's paying the bills a little bit, and it's also promoting Loverboy. So like we make fun of him and stuff like that, but it is kind of a solution to this problem that he has going on, and it's a very big problem because he's you know potentially gonna go bankrupt. So yeah, so that it's maybe not the craziest thing in the world, this whole DJing thing, if you know he needs to bring Loverboy, you know, um make it a success. But uh I don't know. I'm not defending everything that he's done because he's done some questionable stuff for sure, but agreed.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I agree with what you said for the most part. Um yeah, I thought it was interesting when Lindsay mentioned her point is that in a partnership and you like you should be talking about uh wanting to be a team and planning like futures together. And she's like, This is why Amanda said at the reunion last season um she's ready to have kids with someone who's ready to have kids with her. Um, and like you're not Kyle, you're not ready for kids. You're showing you're more interested in having a residency in Vegas and starting a family. And yeah, I thought it was really interesting because Kyle's like, she's not ready for a kid. Like you can blast me all you want. Um, and I didn't like push on it at the reunion, but she's not ready, and like you can't blame me on that one. And even Amanda jumps in and is like, forget about the kids. Right. So that was interesting. I'm assuming that means like that's true.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, acknowledging that. Yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And then that's when he's like, God forbid I do something I enjoy. Past seven years of my life, I've worked my ass off with. He says with no joy, which that's also probably an ex a bit of an exaggeration, but he's definitely been stressed in his career and everything.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And he's still pushing, like, you're not making decisions together as a partnership and as a family. And Kyle's like, I feel like I'm under attack. It's how I felt all summer long. Don't gang up. And then Ben's like, yeah, like he's like mansplaining, like, duh, we understand Ben. He's like, if he gets a manager, the manager's jobs to make sure he gets better gigs and he has he doesn't have to do himself. It's like, Ben, we get it.

SPEAKER_00

But then Kyle's He's trying to like trying to like diffuse the situation a little bit.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but it's yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_00

It just sounds hilarious. Like in the middle of all this, like arguing and stuff. He's like, Hey guys, but like maybe a manager isn't such a bad idea.

SPEAKER_02

We're like, we get it, Ben, not the time. Uh, but then Kyle out of nowhere is like, fuck you, as he's like looking at Amanda, probably because she's looking at him with that smug look on her face.

SPEAKER_00

Uh and not really uh excusable behavior, but like no, yeah. I definitely think she's trying to provoke him and she knows that he's like got this aggressive tendency and stuff. So she knows like what's gonna happen.

SPEAKER_02

I was thinking about so the episode from be right, I guess this was like right before the scandal broke, but um earlier in the season when he when they were hanging out by the pool on Kyle's birthday weekend, and you know, he was inside by himself for a while, no one's paying attention to him. He comes outside and he just goes up to him and he's like, Fuck you, for no re which seemed like no reason whatever, which I think was no reason. But I was like, what if that was the ghost of Summerhouse Future? It's like a premonition of things to come.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. He's like, I don't know why, but I just got this urge fuck you.

SPEAKER_02

So, you know, a lot of things aren't aging well this season, but yeah, that did again, not excusing Kyle's poor behavior.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Wanna make that clear.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Okay, so then you know, Kyle really kind of like spirals from here and he's like, we don't have a partnership. In a partnership, we pull weight, she doesn't pull any weight. You have no idea. I'm so sick and tired of normalizing all the shit I deal with. Like, I I really want to know what is all the shit he deals with. Like, tell us, Kyle. We want to know. I wanna I want to know this like memoir. Like, give us all the tea, Kyle. Uh but yeah, then he Carl's like, Kyle, chill the fuck out. I deal with some shit too, chill out. Uh, and Kyle's like, fuck you, Carl, and like storms like he well, he storms out, Carl follows him, Kyle like slams open the door, and Carl's like, You're gonna break something, that's good. And then Carl's like, fuck you, Carl, and he throws the lover boy back at the front door, and then we like we see Carl following Kyle, but the camera like cuts away to inside, and then we hear like he's fighting Carl, and then we like cut back to outside, and now like all the guys are outside holding Carl back, but like they didn't actually show how the group went from like inside to like actually seeing Carl and Kyle have some sort of altercation and holding Carl back. So it'll be interesting to see how this picks up next episode.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, for sure. I I don't know, from like the little snippet that we saw, you know, and there's kind of this history, like they talked about like their friendship and like the dynamic of it, about how like Kyle is more you know the dominant aggressor kind of person in that relationship, and and Carl's kind of more timid and laid back. And so it seemed like in that situation, Kyle's like, fuck you, Carl. And then as soon as Carl's like, fuck me, fuck you, then Kyle snaps because he's like, No, you're not allowed to talk back to me. I can say fuck you, you can't say fuck me.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Carl was also like really quick to snap too. Yeah, yeah. Like he went from like trying to like look like he was being a good friend to help calm Kyle down. The second Kyle's like, fuck you, he's like, Oh, you want to go there? Let's go there, let's go. Like, I've been holding myself back all summer from like telling you how I really feel. Right.

SPEAKER_00

Which I think he has a little bit. So I think he definitely snapped. Yeah, yeah. Crazy stuff.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah, that's where the episode ends. We didn't get any scenes this time, right? Because it kind of ends on a cliffhanger.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it just said to be continued, which I mean it's always to be continued. They always end and start at the same spot. So I think they just knew that it was a cliffhanger.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Any last thoughts on the episode before we get into our superlatives?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. We kind of glossed over some of the mustache stuff. I think there were some good one-liners with the mustache rides and I must ask you a question. Um, I I liked that part. I I think in general I did like I mean, it started off as a kind of a light thing, like with KJ. Oh, I like these male bonds that I've formed and everything. And I kind of felt bad for him a little bit because it seemed like he was sad the summer's coming to an end, but he was glad that he formed these friendships and stuff. And part of me was thinking, like, I don't know if you guys are gonna be coming back next summer. So Yeah. I hope that it's sad. At least he's formed these friendships that hopefully will continue and stuff.

SPEAKER_02

So yeah. Definitely.

SPEAKER_00

But yeah, the guys were having fun in between all the uh shenanigans, so that's one of my takeaways.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so whose turn is it to go uh I think it's my first okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Uh red flags? Sure. I mean, the the two are Amanda and West. Um yeah, Amanda's conversation with Mia basically that whole thing saying that she would die for Sierra. Like, come on. And then West's um I lost my voice speech. I just I can't, I can't. He sucks.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. You um nailed it. I think you took my red flags too. Like Amanda's saying she would cut West off like immediately the second she got any inkling he was gonna hurt Sierra, it's like, okay, so you cutting yourself off too? Like, how's this work?

SPEAKER_00

I she's gotta look back at this and like realize, like, oh, like I did say that uh that's pretty bad.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I uh I can't wait for the reunion. So many questions.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's gonna be good.

SPEAKER_02

Um okay, and then who was your MVP?

SPEAKER_00

Um I feel bad because I I'm probably stealing yours also. I think we can go with the same one, but it was definitely Sierra for basically just for the Lorax scene alone. Um Yeah. But yeah. It was a good episode for in general, but that scene was uh yeah, probably like you said, probably my favorite scene of the season so far.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that was hilarious. I also picked Sierra, but I'll pick a second one since that's kind of boring for us to pick the same person. Okay. So I will also pick KJ because um I thought he had some sweet moments with the, you know, like you were just talking about um with the whole mustache thing and the the male bonding and then opening up at the Lost and Found dinner, um, you know, sharing the about the loss of his brother. He also like had some other good moments with the grill with him in Sierra. Yeah, yeah. And he fell asleep on the beach again. Like, seems like he's always falling asleep.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. To respect that.

SPEAKER_02

Uh yeah, seems like something I would do, honestly. I thought it was also funny, like KJ was like, Oh, you pissed me off now when like they were having the water gun fight. Yeah, we love KJ. Okay, and then how many sandwiches did you give this episode?

SPEAKER_00

Going pretty high. I'm going 4.5. Um yeah, it had a little bit of everything. And yeah, from like the funny stuff to like the serious stuff and like the sad stuff to the roll your eyes kind of stuff, and kind of capping it off with a fist fight. What more could you ask for?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah, I was I was store and I was trying to figure out. But yes, I think I'll also go for 0.5 sandwiches. We were joking because we saw a preview for the Lorax water gun fight. Like that should be five sandwiches alone. Yeah. Good episode. Okay, if they get their timeline straight, maybe I would have given them five sandwiches, but yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Who do we gotta talk to to get a correct timeline?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, can I get like a consulting gig for summer house production on helping them keep their uh continuity?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, do they not do they just like isn't everything like time-stamped and stuff? Like how hard can it be?

SPEAKER_02

Well that so I noticed when they are like, oh, this doesn't make sense and we don't feel like explaining it, they just put a day of the week. They don't say like what the date is. They're just like Thursday.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, no one noticed. Keep going.

SPEAKER_00

They probably think that people don't actually pay attention to it. You're you're probably in the minority of people that actually do pay attention to it, to be honest.

SPEAKER_02

But I'm sure. Yeah. And I never really paid too much attention before we were podcasting about it. But if I'm gonna take this seriously, I'm gonna be.

SPEAKER_00

When you notice something wrong, you kind of start to pay attention to something more.

SPEAKER_02

So Yeah, totally. Okay. Well, I think we have to go because it's already really late. So if you had anything else to say, it's too late. Sorry, cutting you off. Cut off.

SPEAKER_00

Sounds good.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. All right, till next time.

SPEAKER_00

See ya.
