So tonight on Breakthrough Hour, I feel a fresh burden for America. Like I feel it deep. This year alone, I've traveled to six nations across the world carrying the gospel, leading worship, praying with believers, strengthening underground churches, sounding the alarm, and watching God move in powerful ways across the earth. From persecuted nations to massive gatherings hungry for revival, one thing has become overwhelmingly clear to me. The nations are shaking. People are searching. Darkness is increasing, but so is the hunger for Jesus. And after all this international travel, I feel the Lord is saying something very clearly to me right now. It's time to focus on my own nation. America is in a critical hour. And that is why this week is so important. This Saturday, we will gather once again on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. for Let Us Worship. This is our seventh year in a row crying out to God in the heart of America's Capitol. I mean, seven years, guys. This is insane to even think about. I remember talking to people leading up to our first year in 2020, and they said, Sean, no one does more than one event every 10 years in DC. It's so difficult. The permitting, the expenses. Here we are, seven years in a row later, seven years of worship, seven years of prayer, seven years of declaring that Jesus Christ is still the king over America. And I believe this year carries a unique weight with it. As we move closer to America's 250-year anniversary, we are not just dealing with political problems, cultural confusion, media stuff, or social division. We're dealing with spiritual warfare. Jesus said there are certain strongholds, certain demons that only come out through prayer and fasting. That means the answer for America is not going to come merely through better headlines, better politicians, better strategies. It's going to come through intercession. I really believe this, through repentance, through consecration, through believers refusing to stay silent, through worship that breaks the chains, through prayer meetings that shake cities, through fasting that weakens the grip of darkness over our nation. That is why before this gathering on Saturday, we are beginning Friday night with 12 hours straight of worship and prayer with local churches and houses of prayer in Washington, D.C. It's not for entertainment. This is not performance. This is spiritual contention for the soul of America. And I believe people around the world are going to encounter God with us. We're going to be live streaming this entire event globally. So wherever you are watching from tonight, you can join us the very moment the prayer and awakening begins on Saturday at 4 p.m. Eastern time. And one of the things I'm especially excited about is that we will be leading many of these brand new songs that we just released on the new album, Days of Awakening. I am very, very excited. These songs were birthed out of prayer, revival gathering, tears, hunger, and hope for another great spiritual awakening in our generation. I believe they are so prophetic in this hour for us to declare over this nation. And speaking of timely messages, next week, my brand new book, No Turning Back, officially releases. And honestly, I can't think of a more important time for this message to come out because the book is literally all about spiritual warfare. It's about courage, it's about standing up, it's standing firm when culture shifts. It's about refusing to compromise. It's about following Jesus fully in an age of fear, deception, intimidation, and chaos. And that message connects directly to what we are going to do on the National Mall this weekend. We are drawing a line in the sand. We're declaring that Jesus still saves, He still delivers, Jesus still heals, and Jesus still revives nations. And we are not turning back. So tonight, I want you to lean in, share this broadcast, prepare your heart. And if you can't physically join us in DC, you can join us online as believers from across America and around the world. Unite in worship and prayer for Breakthrough, because I believe we are truly stepping in to days of awakening. Thank you for joining us. This is going to be a good show. Hey, welcome to Breakthrough Hour. Sean Foyd here. And I'm so excited to have a great friend of mine, such an incredible pastor, leader of the faith, and just a dear brother, Pastor Mark Driscoll here from Arizona. Good to see you, man.
SPEAKER_01Good to see you as well, man. We got to get your wife and kids back out to visit once the heat breaks. We got to get you back. Yeah, well, yeah, definitely.
SPEAKER_04Marcus down. We're always down for a fall, winter Arizona trip. Um, hey, I want to just talk with you about we're I we're so excited uh to do this gathering together on May 16th on the National Mall. And just for those of you that um may not uh know the progression of how this started, I'm just gonna intro it real quick and then I want to kick it to Pastor Mark to share his heart. Uh, we uh there's a gathering happening on May 17th called Rededicate America. Uh that that event is gonna be great. Um, I think it's gonna be awesome. However, I really feel like the part that I'm called to carry is what we've been doing the last seven years, which is this breaker, revival, prayer, uh, prophetic uh edge that I feel like we're called to carry. And uh for six years in a row, this will be our seventh year, we've gone to the National Mall striking the ground. And uh God opened up this door on the 16th, the night before this gathering, to really have this prominent location right next to the Washington Monument. I've actually never been able to secure this before, but it's the Sylvan Theater. And from this location, you can look at the White House and you can look at the U.S. Capitol. It is a stunning place to gather together for $250. And really, I feel like in the wake of this latest assassination attempt and everything that's been happening in our nation, I just feel like a real urgency to gather together. Pastor Mark, we're doing it together. You're gonna be there. I'm so pumped. What are you feeling about May 16th and what's kind of in your heart right now for America?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, right now the problem is America is really split between the left and the right, and the only solution is the north and the south. Unless we come under some sovereign authority, there can be no unity and there is uh there's no decency. I mean, right now, we're seeing a completely broken, fractured nation, not just between left and right, but tragically, as you know, even on the right, I mean, yeah, at this point, that all the Democrats and the Progressives and the Liberals need to do is nothing because we're doing our own episode of Lord of the Flies on the right. I mean, it's just it's just steal, kill, and destroy. And so you would hope that after, you know, the most pro-life, pro-religious liberty president that we've had in my lifetime takes office, that those who are not just conservative but Christian would align and say, how could we do good for the nation and its citizens instead? It is a war over how do we increase our market share. And so there needs to be repentance and humility, otherwise, there is no future for the country.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, amen. And, you know, I I want to just hit on this too. Like we were together. Um, I was at your church the Sunday before the election. Yeah. And uh we had uh an incredible service that day. I invited Charlie Kirk to come and Erica, and they they came. And it was me, you, Charlie, Erica, and uh, there was one other person or two of the people. Jerry Lake was there as well. Um, and you know, I I felt like that there was such momentum. And then me and my wife got to be there um uh at the actual announcement at the the watch party with the president when he won. And to me it felt I just was it was just like one of these, like, you know, like dodge the bullet, like that, like literally he did, but but also like America did. Um, and then of course, you know, months later, Charlie gets assassinated, and there seems to be this renewal, this revival, this unity, this this, I mean, we all experienced it. Church growth began to explode. Uh, people laid down their, you know, whatever. And it was just like this moment of historic unity. And then in the wake of that, absolute demonic, and I want to say this clearly, the demonic, a demonic spirit has literally entered people, like podcasters, like people that that we once used to trust, or it used to kind of follow. And the fracturing that has taken place since that assassination is something I would have never imagined. What's your take on that?
SPEAKER_01I totally agree. If it's not the Holy Spirit, uh, it's another spirit. And so, you know, the Bible is clear that the war is not against flesh and blood, that the its powers, principalities, and spirits. And, you know, what you see is now the third assassination attempt on the president. Well, that's what happens when you have a culture of death. If if children can be murdered, then presidents can be murdered. There's no sanctity of life from womb to White House. And what we're seeing as well is a generation of young men that are going to church, but they're not getting bold, courageous, clarifying leadership. And so there's this window of opportunity that I believe the church needs to step into and that the nation needs. And as we're in our 25th, 250th birthday, you know, we want to celebrate all of God's grace, but we also want to plan for the future. And yeah, you know, and to me, you know, some pastors have said we're at a point on the, it's particularly on the right, where it's either Christ or chaos. And right now it feels like chaos is winning. And so we have to pray to Christ, we have to preach Christ, we have to share Christ, we have to repent to Christ. And if people will come under the authority of Christ, well, then there's blessing for the future. And if not, there's only chaos.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Well, I mean, there, and there is so much chaos. I mean, there's so much conspiracy, there's so much uh suspicion. It just is, and I feel like that that there's so much distraction right now that is holding people back from, and I think this is my heart. Like, you know, we have a four-hour block of time uh that we secured from the permit. I mean, it's it's amazing. Actually, today is is a really big day, to be honest, because I've gone through this process. Uh, this will be our seventh year in a row of doing large-scale events on the mall, medium scale, whatever. And it is up until the very last minute that you finally get approved with all your gear and your permits and everything. We just got official approval today for all of our gear and equipment, which is unheard of. I mean, it's it's the amount of favor is just extraordinary on this whole thing. Um, but my heart is like four hours of worship and prayer and and and preaching and really to help people navigate and and get beyond all of the other narratives, right? And and and have their eyes fixed on Jesus in the truth. And obviously, you know, there's so much going on in America 250. I was just out doing worship literally by the Statue of Liberty. They shot off, I don't know, $100,000 worth of fireworks. It was insane and epic. But I had this thought, I'm like, this this fanfare is great. The the military might is great, the the prestige of America is great, the economic uh uh uh uh prosperity, all this stuff is great, but yet without God, like this is just noise. Right. This is just a clang. This is just this is just us getting hyped up about you know a future that is not even as secure for our children. And if we can't have pastors and leaders that can rise up in this hour and hold the line in our nation, we have no future.
SPEAKER_01Well, the the job of the church and its pulpits is to be the conscience for the nation. The the goal of the state is just to protect civil order, life, and liberty. And it's the role and responsibility of God's people um to be the moral conscience and to provide, you know, moral integrity and clarity. And so, you know, we can't hand to the government the church that the God that the God of the Bible has handed to the church, you know, and so it's our responsibility. That's why prayer, worship, um, God's people coming together in the Holy Spirit. I mean, you think about it in DC. I mean, how many spirits are in DC? Yeah, you know, and how many spirits in DC are aligning together to work against the Holy Spirit?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And so if we come in the name of Jesus, we come with the presence of God, we come with the power of the Holy Spirit, we come with humility and repentance, we come to pray and worship, and we come to to honor God and to yeah, to sort of establish a stronghold in DC that belongs to Jesus Christ, then there's hope. And if not, there is not.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, there is not. And and what is your like, how do you feel, you know, when you look at the the founding of America, and I mean, I know that you're you're a historian, you teach, you, you, you preach the word of God, but you also know American history. Uh, what would be your response to those? Like, we're because we're essentially going full-blown Christian nationalist. Like, that's that's what we're doing, right? I mean, I'm writing songs right now singing that America is yours. Like, I mean, we're we're this is the me the other morning. You're like, I think I got a Patriot anthem ready to roll. Yeah. And you know, and I always talk about how David, you know, he was, I mean, you look at pro, I don't know, maybe a fourth, a fifth of the Psalms, maybe more, are actually David singing about Israel. It's not even David singing about God, it's about David singing the promises over Israel, which I feel like is is is so powerful. Uh, what what's your whole thought when people, you know, we're in a uh a society that obviously hates God. A lot of people in government hate God. A lot of people uh that are uh that are even believe believers uh want this to be an all faiths kind of thing, which I think is absolutely insane, uh, because there was only one faith that the nation was founded on. What's your response to those people?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and even those who hold different faiths, they're insulted when told we all worship the same God. Yeah. If you go to a Muslim and a Jew and like you guys worship the same God, they're like, actually, we are offended by that. If you go to a Christian who worships one God and uh, I don't know, a Hindu who worships a million gods, and say you guys basically are connecting with the same divine reality. The answer is actually you just offended both of us. So those who are religious pluralists and want to sort of water everything down to the common denominator of the spiritual, they're actually offensive to all the religions and faiths. And I don't know if they really understand that. Um, but yeah, there is a, I don't know if you've seen the movie A Great Awakening that just came out on um it's really incredible on George Whitfield and the founding of the nation. I thought it was really well done and interesting. And there's a historian named David Barton, and he makes the argument that in all of the founding documents and the early commentators, when it says religion, it means Christian denominations. So we're talking about different kinds of Christians. We're not talking about different kinds of religions. Right. And so it's like, are you Baptist, are you Presbyterian, are you a Lutheran, not are you a jihadist?
SPEAKER_04Right. Right. Yeah, and and I mean, I think something that's really struck me, you know, this year, I've we've done we've held uh big events in five different nations this year, let us worship events, and and a lot of some of those have been heavily persecuted countries like Nigeria and India and Egypt, where I just got back from. I think what people don't understand, they don't have a global perspective is like America is a Christian nation. The world views it as that. And I think it's time for us to just simply start stating it. It doesn't mean you can't be uh live here and have another religious belief. But when you come to our nation, you know this is it's printed on our money. This is a Christian nation. You want a Hindu nation, go to India. You want a Muslim nation, there's lots of those. However, America's a Christian nation, and I feel that we need this confidence to not to declare that, but to also realize like this is the last bastion of religious freedom in the world. Like Europe is gone, Canada's gone. Canada is gone. Trust me, I know firsthand. Canada's gone. Uh, you know, Africa's gone. I mean, and the thing is, Pastor Mark, when I go to these countries, like because they are all afraid right now, there's like a fear that if they persecute or are caught uh uh persecuting Christians, they that's the last thing they want to do. I I was traveling in the Biden years, the Obami years, even in the Bush years, there wasn't that kind of uh I like to say a holy fear where they're like, we don't want to mess with Christians. And so I'm telling all my missionaries around the world in these countries, go hard for the gospel.
SPEAKER_01Dude, it's go time right now. It is go time. Yeah, the window of opportunity is open. And and just because America was founded on Christian principles, it doesn't mean that everybody in America believes the Bible, but they're blessed by it. Separation of powers is because we believe in original sin and total depravity. Um, the rule of law is an expressly biblical concept. Kings and rulers want to have all the power, they don't want it distributed through laws so that there's justice, equality for men and women and those of different incomes and intellects. It comes from the fact that we're all made in the image and likeness of God. So there are there are these series of beliefs that are only found in the Bible. And then people want to reject the faith, but then they want to hijack the principles that give them the liberty that they enjoy. And that's and that's hypocrisy and that's ignorance from government education. Yeah, a hundred percent.
SPEAKER_04And and that's even more so why we need to stand and shout and sing and worship and pray and declare and and be the people of God in this hour. Um, last question I want to ask you. Uh, I know there's it's hard to keep up with all the controversies. This is 2026.
SPEAKER_01I'll be honest with you. I'm at the point where I have grandkids in the internet, so I'm not paying a lot of attention to the internet.
SPEAKER_04100%, man. 100%. This one really struck my radar, though. I wanted to get your thoughts on it because uh Are we gonna do the freaking aliens thing? Is that what we're doing? We're doing the aliens thing. We are doing it. I thought we do, I thought we'd do the Muslim thing. Well, we we can do that one later, but this one is newer, okay. This one's newer.
SPEAKER_01But this isn't just the aliens coming in from Mexico. This is the aliens coming in from Mars.
SPEAKER_04So this this this is we got we got a double invasion, bro. Yeah, we got we got we got a situation here. We have apparently there was a and by the way, after this interview, I'm I'm I'm interviewing, uh I have uh a gat uh meeting with two uh well very well known members of Congress, and I'm gonna talk to you about this too, because it's it infuriates me. I mean, these these pastors out there looking for clickbait had this secret gathering at this rural Airbnb with government agencies about uncovering this UFO stuff and whatever. Yeah. Um crazy, right? Yeah. Well, it's catching wind as things do on the internet and the interwebs. And it's a free-for-all right now. And so I thought, you know, I can't chime in on every conspiracy or slanderous thing or attack or whatever, but I do want to chime in on this. One, because I know people, you know, connected to people hype in the government, but also because I think that like, I mean, this is the direct statement, and then I'll let you let you chime in and say what you want to say. But the direct statement uh that was put out on the uh that I actually reshared on on X says this religious leaders told, prepare now for UFO disclosure to unleash Bible-changing revelations.
SPEAKER_01Bible-changing revelations.
SPEAKER_04Apparently. Uh yep. So what's your take on that, Pastor Mark? Give us some sanity.
SPEAKER_01You know, the word of God endures forever, we are told. And, you know, there was uh some years ago, someone said that, you know, many hammers have hammered the Bible, but the Bible has proven to be the anvil. And so, you know, at the end of the day, any pastor, I don't know who it is, I don't know what he's saying, but if you're gonna make a claim that what's coming out is gonna cause us to have to re Write the Bible, then the burden of proof is on you. And uh, and and I would need to see an alien walking around, and then we could talk about whether or not there are, in fact, aliens. Now, when it comes to aliens, they also could be demonic beings that are, you know, masquerading and pretending to be other kinds of beings. And so, you know, we do believe in the demonic, and that may explain some of it. But yeah, I mean, my my my commitment is to the word of God, and it is the power of God. And when the word of God is proclaimed with the Holy Spirit's anointing, there's nothing equal to it that we have access to in all of reality. And so, yeah, I mean, it is weird though. It's like this week, it's like, oh gosh, you know, what about aliens or what about, I don't know, you know, airplanes that, you know, were tracking Charlie Kirk. I mean, it's just this week, you know, what comedian is attacking Erica? I mean, it's just we're at a place where honestly, the more you plug your life into the clickbait in the news cycle, the less likely you are to become a sane, healthy human being who enjoys their life. And so, you know, I mean, and you know, this social media in some regards is a septic tank. And if you spend all of your time at the bottom where the heaviest turds go, uh, that is not a good place to spend your day.
SPEAKER_04No, it's true. I mean, I I I I really do. I feel like um I mean, I'm not surprised. I I think what's what's so funny to me is that the that this is all used for clickbait. It's all the algorithm. Sure. It's all these pastors and these UFO guys wanting to prop up their own thing. Well, click on a subscribe to my thing and I'll monetize your you know, it's it's such a scam, it's a grift. Yeah, and I feel like uh, and this is why I'm so excited. Like I feel in-person worship.
SPEAKER_01Let's let's turn our phones off, let's turn our souls on. Yeah, right. Let's let's spend some time with God's people, not digital people, actual people. Let's spend some time in God's presence, yeah, and let's see if we don't get healed at the soul level. Right. And and suddenly what you realize is it's God and people that really matter, and the rest is a lot of diversion and distraction.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I, you know, I want to just say this and then I'll let you have the last word. I we're me and my wife are we were trying something with our kids this month. We we we uh we had a trip planned to the Middle East as a family. We do a mission trip every year. It was canceled because of the war. So we took uh this old airstream that we have uh and we went to Zion National Park, we went to Grand Canyon, we just had a blast as a family, and we turned off all the phones and so and all the devices and all the screens. So when we came back home, me and my wife were like, let's just do no screens like for the whole month of April, like none for the kids, right? Unless we're watching a basketball game or football game or something. We'll but outside of that. So we did that, and dude, my kids, it's it's in May. What is it, the sixth day of May? My kids don't want to even go back. They're out all day with the neighbors, they're playing in the creek, they're playing baseball. They're literally, I feel like I entered back into a portal of the 90s when I grew up, and their mood has changed, their their excitement level has changed. And I'm just like, we should have done this years ago. Like, and of course, it was a fight in the beginning. Ah, and it was like, but and we don't have a ton of screen time anyway, but we were like, let's just take it all away. And man, my kids, they're friends with the neighbors now, like they're reading the Bible more. My kids are. We're doing it together as a family. Like, it's really changed the dynamic, and so that's my encouragement. I I agree with you. There needs to be a a revolt on the digital screen uh brain rot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, and at the end of the day, if you're paying attention to the screen, it is between you and the person that is in front of you, yeah, and you're missing the opportunity to love that person, build that relationship. And usually the person that is between you and your screen are the most important people in your life.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's good, that's really good. Well, listen, I'm excited to see you on the mall, not be on a screen to be in person.
SPEAKER_01That's we got four hours of preaching, worship. Yes, I mean, it's just and uh you guys are wild Pentecostals, and so it's just gonna be. I mean, I asked, I was like, what's the run of show? They're like, it starts at four, it ends at eight, and in the middle is the Holy Spirit. I'm like, okay, that's the run of show. Yes, rolls out.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Uh well, we'll see, we can hold it all together. I think it's gonna be good. Uh, and I can't wait to see you there. And thanks for bringing your crew and your team and and helping. Yeah, we'll live stream it for you.
SPEAKER_01And I just encourage everybody, like I know a number of you are gonna be there on the 17th. And so you've got to be there on the 16th, anyways. So roll on in, man. Let's get the people that really love Jesus together the night before. And uh yeah, and let's let's make sure that that we kick this thing off really, really well. And and I'll be honest with you, just the thought of worshiping God and praying. I mean, the Bible says to pray for your nation, to pray for your leaders, that if we're doing that within, you know, eye distance of the White House, there there's something kind of once in a lifetime for the 250th birthday of the nation. This is this is a once in a lifetime window for this opportunity.
SPEAKER_04Amen. It is 100%. And I feel that, and we're excited about it. So we can't wait to do it together. All right, my friend. Love you, buddy. I'll see you soon. All right, God bless. We are one week away from the official release of this book that I have been working on for the last year and a half. No turning back, living as a faithful witness to the last day. Guys, I'm so very excited about this book. It is literally a manual of how to walk through this season of spiritual warfare and intensity by being bold, being courageous, being a praying, worshiping uh person that's connected to the heart of God. I'm telling you, this is it it's an incredible tool, and I'm excited to release it to the world. One week from today, it comes out. You can pre-order on Amazon today, you can pre-order on our website today, and we would love for you to get this book, to share it, to spread the word. Living as a Faithful Witness, no turning backs coming out next Tuesday. All right, well, welcome everyone to breakthrough hour. This is just an incredible episode. I am so honored and privileged to kick it off with my good friend and Pastor Mark Franci in Orange County. How are you doing, Pastor Mark?
SPEAKER_02I'm pumped to be with you, Sean. I love you guys.
SPEAKER_04Man, we are just I'm so pumped you're on here. And actually, truth be told, you are kind of part of the reason why I'm even doing this show. You prophesied to me, I think it was a year or two ago, about you saw me doing a show and talking about, you know, faith, politics, culture. And I'm like, yeah, there's like a million of those shows. Like, you know, and you're like, no, I see you doing it. It's gonna allow you to stay home more. And so, bro, here I am in the studio. I love it, man. I'm proud of you, Sean.
SPEAKER_02It's awesome. And I can pick up my kids today. I love it, man. That's exciting. I didn't doubt that it was your house. I saw an animal on your wall. I'm like, that's gotta be Sean's house.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it is an animal, and we can actually switch these out, but now we've kept the deer here. It's it's pretty iconic. I love it, man. Well, hey, listen, I am so pumped. I want to talk about all things, what God's doing on the West Coast, California, this revival, this awakening. Just so, in case people don't know, uh, Mark and I crossed paths really in the COVID era. Um, he had this church that was very new. It was, and he was pushing back against the mandates, actually holding church services outside in a tent, in a parking lot with bougie Orange County people. And we did a couple things together, and I was like, man, this is my guy. These guys are just raging for Jesus in the midst of the lockdowns here in Southern California. And it was a big part of our journey in actually moving from Northern California down to Southern California. So ever since then, God's been building the church. And this this weekend, this couple days ago, we had baptize uh California, baptize America, baptize the world, all the things. Why don't you give me an update, but maybe first start with the history of why God called you to California and what what what is happening here?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's a loaded question, Sean. We uh well, obviously, I'm I'm I'm honored to be with you and uh just want to say it's a great privilege to be able to talk to some of your friends and some of the people that are following your journey. But yeah, my story is I am from California originally. I was born and raised, graduated high school in the state in LA County, kind of the high desert. And then after I graduated, I got saved at 18. Uh, my dad moved to Idaho, like a lot of people did before everybody else moved to Idaho. He moved to Idaho back in the 90s. So I started visiting, and then when I got sick, I went to a summer camp he made me go to. And I had this encounter with the Lord Jesus at 18 years of age. He told me to move to Idaho to live with my dad, to go to Bible college. And I knew it was God because I would never think of anything that stupid. And uh didn't like Idaho, didn't like my dad, did not like Bible college. But I, you know, like you, Sean, you experienced the reality of how awesome Jesus is and how powerful the Holy Spirit is. You're willing to do whatever it takes to maintain that relationship. So I said, Lord, if you promise me that everyone in my family will come to know you, I'll do whatever you want me to do in life. And so he said, Mark, if you give me your best, I'll give you my best. So I moved to Idaho 2002. I was there for 17 years. I got baptized, filled with the spirit, discipled, mentored, ordained, all in one church. Ended up marrying the pastor's daughter, which was wonderful job security, you know, classic, classic, classic move. And when you're the youth pastor, it's a great vocational security move. And so uh we did that, man, for 17 years. And then I had there's a lot of stories that kind of tied to us moving, but Sydney Jacobs had a word for my in-laws that their their daughter and son-in-law, that the son-in-law was not from Idaho, that he was from somewhere else talking about me. Wow. And they said, Yeah, they're church planters. And she pointed at them at a dinner and said, Uh, they're church planters, they're gonna move back to California where he's from, and they're gonna start a church that becomes a global movement.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_02And my in-laws are like, that's the craziest thing we've heard, you know, just wild. And um right, they talked to us about it. So it's 2012, and we just kind of waited on the right timing. We ended up uh just the peace of God, and everyone felt great about it by 2018. So we launched Oceans Church in beautiful, you know, Orange County, California in September of 2018. We were about 13 months old, I think, 14 months old when COVID hit. And yeah, we uh, like you said, we kind of we shut down like everybody for 12 weeks. I think the whole world shut down. And then in our state, obviously California, they were they opened it back up for two weeks and then it spiked again, and they shut everything down a second time. And we we did not because they let you know the strip bars and the tobacco shops and the vaping stores all were essential, but church was shut down, and so we're like, look, if that's all open, the church is gonna be open. And we uh bought a big tent, and since that moment, kind of on the church has kind of erupted, so it's been a it's been a great journey, but uh yeah, it's been cool just getting connected with you and Kate. We love you guys.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and and in the midst of that, the Lord birthed this dream uh to to you know have a movement of baptisms, and just you know, uh a few days ago, and I've been privileged to be a part of those, and it's just been so significant. Obviously, in the pandemic, we started baptizing people. Uh, I think it was maybe maybe the the the third city that we were in, uh, which was uh San Diego, and we had about 5,000 people there in July of 2020, and that's when the baptism started for us, and we just saw this whole movement explode. Uh, but then you took this baptism movement and have mobilized it in California, across America, and around the world. Talk a little bit about what happened just a few days ago here in Orange County. Some people have heard about it, some haven't. It's pretty remarkable.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we just uh we launched, it's kind of our flagship event. It's the the history of what we started, you know, just four Pentecost Sundays ago. We believe that God gave us a mandate to make the day of Pentecost the day that the Christian church would unite and celebrate water baptism.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_02Um, historically, they did this in Europe. They called it Wit Sunday back in the early centuries. Somewhere along the way, it got buried, but I feel like part of what God's asked us to do is to bring it back to the forefront. That we obviously do baptisms already uh in churches all over the world, but we don't do it collaboratively and we don't do it on the day of Pentecost intentionally. Most churches, you know, we do it on Easter, which is awesome. But 50 days after Easter, you know, the Bible says the church was born in a prayer meeting that led to public preaching, that led to a mass response, you know, 3,000 people believing. And then immediately 3,000 got baptized that day. And, you know, we've been doing this now. This is our fourth Pentecost. Uh this, I'm sorry, May 24th will be our fourth Pentecost Sunday. Um, we've seen, you know, I've I've witnessed 15,000 people getting baptized in person in four days.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_02Um, the last four Pentecost Sundays, three Pentecost Sundays, and then last Saturday. But yeah, we saw another 1,100 people get baptized in one day at Pirates Cove. Uh, probably up to about 6,000 people were there worshiping God on the rocks. And it was just a beautiful, beautiful um physical, tangible uh reminder that revival is actually happening in our midst. Churches are working together. You know, water baptism is one of the few doctrines that the whole church agrees on.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_02That we're supposed to make disciples of all nations and baptize them. And so it's been cool. We united the Church of Southern California four Pentecost Sundays ago, and we saw about 4,100 people baptized on that day.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_02And then the next next year, which is 2024, we launched Baptize California, which had every county in our state, over 70 counties, had local churches that joined us.
SPEAKER_04Wow.
SPEAKER_02And uh we saw 500 churches baptize 6,000 people in their churches that day, big churches, small churches, everything in between. We baptized 6,000 people at Huntington Beach that day.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then we were able to show footage on the screens. I think you were there that day. We were it was really special. And then last year we went back to Huntington Beach, uh, saw I think it was just over 7,000 people baptized that day, but we launched Baptize America. Right. And we saw every single state, uh, local churches in every state, and it was over 27,000 people in those in those churches on Pentecost Sunday last year that joined the movement. So this last weekend at Pirates Cove, we do that, we call it Baptize California here. Yeah, about two, three weeks before the national, and now it's Baptize the World. And so we are launching Baptize the World Pentecost Sunday. And so we're gonna be showing local churches participating in Australia, South America, Africa, Europe, all over North America, Canada. We have Baptize Canada now, uh, joining the movement. And uh, we're gonna be at the Bible Museum. I think we're both gonna be there in Washington, D.C. on May uh 24th. And we're gonna use it as a broadcasting studio to show the world that God's church can work together and we're united and we're believing that we'll work together, we'll baptize hundreds of thousands of people in one day.
SPEAKER_04Well, I love that. I think one of the one of the you know dynamics I've you know had the privilege throughout my life in ministry to see a lot of different movements rise, go, have, have moments. Um, and I always look, okay, God, what is the what is the one dimension of this, of this movement that you know, I I am jealously want to pursue, you know, in my own life. And as we head to go to the national mall, I feel like in the midst of such a divisive hour in America, uh, you look in politics, in the church, in even on the conservative right, you know, so much division. Like what a historic opportunity for the church to come together. And I think this is part of what I would just love you to share on the need for unity and how, I mean, you have a grace for it and uniting a lot of different streams together to do this under the banner of Jesus, not just your ministry under the banner of your ministry, but the name of Jesus. How crucial is the unity piece in America right now as we approach America 250, as we're in the year of our 250th birthday?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's a great question, Sean. I think the Psalms 133 says that where there's unity, God commands, you know, commands, doesn't suggest he commands a blessing. And I think we look at America in our rich, rich history of, you know, maybe one of the greatest, I mean, probably the greatest nation that's ever been in the world, as far as just, you know, how God has protected, used America to be a blessing to the nations of the earth. Most of the philanthropy of the world comes out of our nation. And obviously not perfect like any nation, but certainly the hand of God has been on America. And I think it's interesting that, you know, in our name, we're not the divided states, we are the United States. And there was something in our forefathers that knew the power of unity and actually putting it in our name that we're united. And I think that's the strength of unity doesn't mean full agreement when it comes to every opinion. It means that there's something that we agree on that's more important than our opinions that we differ on. Yeah, and I think that's certainly true in the body of Christ, that the devil would love would love nothing more than us to argue over our differences and divide us over the minor maybe doctrines that we don't see eye to eye, rather than being united on the major tenets of our faith that we all agree on. We we agree that there was a virgin birth, we agree there was a sinless life, that there was a crucified savior that was fully God and fully man, that he was buried three days later, he rose from the dead, and that he's coming back one day, and we got a job to do in the meantime. So I think if we can stay focused on what we agree on, right, the world doesn't really pay attention to the kingdom and to the church when they see that we can't get along. But you know, the prayer of Jesus in John 17 was he said, Father, make them one as we are one.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02And I think that there's not too many tenets of our faith that we can do that and kind of sit at a giant table and say, Hey, Baptist, you know, Methodist, uh, evangelicals, Pentecostals, all of us, we all agree on this thing that the tomb is empty, that we have a job to do to reach the world, right? We got to make disciples, but we also have to baptize them. Yeah, and I think there's something very beautiful about water baptism that unites the church. And interesting enough, you know, the church was born with full public preaching, with a private prayer meeting that led to mass baptisms. And right, you know, I thought about this for a while, Sean, and you probably heard me say this before, but you know, Jesus came to the world on the heels of a national water baptism movement from a guy named John, who Jesus said was the greatest man to pretty much ever live. I mean, outside of Jesus, probably one of the greatest. And John the Baptist came with a message of preaching the remission of sins, right, turning to Christ, repenting, and getting water baptized. And that prepared the world, fulfilled the prophecy, Isaiah, that one comes in the will, you know, shouting, prepare the way of the Lord. And it's interesting that Jesus came the first time on the heels of a national water baptism movement. We think that maybe he comes again a second time on the heels of a global baptism movement. Um, and that's what we're uh we're excited about.
SPEAKER_04I love that perspective. And last thing I want to just touch on, um, I I I I and we talk about this quite a bit. I love it. Back in 2020, when we first came to the National Mall. So this is our seventh year in a row, which is insane when I think about it. Seven years of striking the ground at the most prominent real estate in our country. Uh but the first year in 2020, uh, we showed up, and I'm telling you, probably half of half of the audience, and it was it was officially recognized uh as the largest church service in America in the year of 2020 when everything was shut down. We had the largest church service in front of the National Mall, on the National Mall, close to 40,000 people. Half of those people were from California. Wow. And I I mean, I'm telling you, entire planes were full of people from California, a lot from Southern California, some from Northern. And I started to get out. Asking questions, Sean, why are you still in California? I can't believe it. Blah, blah, blah. You know, DeSantis came up to me. Why don't you move everything to Florida? And I was like, oh, God's really called us there. Now I feel like people are starting to understand. Okay, God's doing something, California. They're seeing the footage of the baptisms, they're seeing stadiums being filled. You know, just a few nights ago, we had the LA mayor's, uh, the at the LA mayor's broadcast debate ahead of the ahead of the uh election, right? Yeah. Spencer Pratt is up there, yeah literally like opening eyes, saying, like, listen, we're all not insane here. Like, like there are people, you know, had his house burned down. He is a classic story, but really, really incredible, as, and I'm just starting it seeing it today on social media. People are like, wow, I didn't know that there were fighters, warriors, sane people, revivalists that were in California. What is your message to the rest of America, to why you and I live here, raise our families here, and make the decision to pay for the highest gas, the highest cost of living. But yet we we do feel like God is doing something.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's a great question. I think, Sean, uh, you know, it's funny you see on Instagram there's these like random posts about like best cities to live in, best, you know, best place to go on vacation, all that stuff. The one thing that California wins all the time is best weather. Uh oh yeah, best climate. I mean, I think everyone that's been here knows like you can't beat no, I mean 75 degrees 12 months out of the year. Um, and it's interesting that with our physical weather, uh, it creates an atmosphere that everything grows in California.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So you can grow, I mean, your house, my house, we have orange trees and lemons and avocados and palm trees that would never grow. I'm from Idaho. You don't grow palm trees in Idaho.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_02There's so much fruit that will not grow in Idaho. And here's my my contention is California has a very special atmosphere. I think naturally that everything grows here. And I think that's also true spiritually, that whatever comes into the soil of California, both not just good, but also bad. I would say that, you know, we California has produced more fruit when it pertains to pornography, when it pertains to wickedness in Hollywood, when it pertains to technology in California, in the Silicon Valley. So much of what the world eats is what's grown in California. I mean, it shocked me when I learned that there's actually more cattle farms, I think, in California than there is in like most of the states of America. Most people don't realize that the agricultural and even the uh the farming, ranching, it's it's massive here in California. So I felt like the Lord told me that there's something special, not just naturally, but spiritually in California, that whatever is sown in the soil of this state will actually grow so rapidly that the rest of the nation and the rest of the world will eat its fruit. And I think that's why, you know, we look at a lot of the revivals the last hundred years in America, from Azusa Street to the Jesus Revolution, Crystal Cathedral, the Calvary Chapel movement, the vineyard. Yeah, so much of what has touched the nation has grown in the soil of California.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02My contention, Sean, is that Romans 5 says that where sin abounds, grace abounds even more. And it seems like our God to use a place that the rest of the country has written off that everyone says is going to fall into the ocean to be the actual state that God would potentially use to light the match for a national, maybe potentially a global great awakening. So I am of the persuasion, like you, that God uses the most irredeemable places seemingly to start the greatest redemption stories.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And, you know, God used Nineveh to be the city of the Old Testament to remind the world that if God could love and save the Assyrians, God could love and save any city. And there's 120,000 people in Assyria. And God tells Jonah when he's moping in chapter four, he goes, You care about plants more than I care about the people that don't know the difference between their left hand and their right hand. And we see in the old covenant that God sends the first itinerant preacher to a city and to a nation that was more wicked than any other to demonstrate his power to save the greatest numerical percentage revival in all of the Bible. It didn't happen in the New Testament. It happened in the Old Testament through a prophet that did not want to go to the most wicked, corrupt city in the world. And it doesn't say 10%, 20%, 50%. It says from the least to the greatest, from the homeless to literally the king himself, yeah. A hundred percent of Nineveh was saved. Come on, because God wanted to demonstrate that if I could do it in Nineveh, I can do it anywhere in the world. And I believe that's true today, that if God could revive California, he could certainly revive Texas, Tennessee, or Florida. And I think that's why God is using the state the way He is.
SPEAKER_04I love that. I love that. And that one that's one of the things I love so much about you and just your heart. You you love where you live, you love where God's planted you. You, you, you know, from the blessing of the upright, a city is exalted. Yes. Right? But by the mouth of the wicked is destroyed. We know that there's a lot of wicked people saying all kinds of stuff about where we live, but from the blessing of the upright, and you'd carry such an optimistic and joyful perspective. I would love it if you would close this time and just pray. I feel like there's people watching this that live in New York, they live in Michigan, they live in Washington. God's called them to, you know, some of these states that are maybe not the easiest. And I I've actually been to all of them, so I know which ones. In fact, your your old city in Boise's where we got the most attack by uh by the Satanists, uh, of course, because there's a battle for those places. Yeah. I would just love it, maybe if you would just pray uh on the heels of seeing this major move of God in California, that it would stir up faith for people that live in these cities to contend for their own breakthrough.
SPEAKER_02That's right. Lord, we just thank you right now. We agree with Sean that there is a breakthrough that's on the horizon. And that even those watching the stream right now, you called them, you've chosen. And we believe, even as Jonah did not want to go with the message you gave him, but Lord, you gave him a second chance. I pray for everyone watching right now that needs to answer the call of God, that he's calling again a second time. I ask you, Jesus, to remind them that God, they are called, like Esther, for such a time as this. We know that we're the salt of the earth, that you called the church to be the light of the world. And, you know, quite frankly, Lord, we know that it's not the cities that already have the light that need our lights. Oftentimes you cause us to shine for the places that are still dark. And so I ask you in Jesus' name to give courage to your church. I even pray the prayer they prayed in Acts chapter four, that you would see the threats of the governments, see the threats of the wicked that are in our cities, and that with power and the power of the Holy Spirit, that you would give us courage and boldness to help us carry the message of the good news of Jesus Christ to the darkest states, the hardest cities, and the toughest ground. I thank you that God, if you can turn Jerusalem upside down with 120, that God, you can turn our cities, our states, not even right upside down, but maybe call it right side up with the goodness of Jesus Christ. God, we pray revival in our hour. We pray reformation in our lifetime, and we pray that you would shake our nation with the Spirit of God, with sons and daughters that know how to carry your message with integrity, with courage, with clarity, with competency. But Lord, with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, we bless the global church and the church that's even represented in America, from Michigan to New York, California, Alaska. God, from sea to sea, we pray the blessing of God, for blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. We bless those watching today with courage and strength. Fill them up today, Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name. Amen.
SPEAKER_04Amen. Thank you so much, Pastor Mark. That was incredible. And listen, bless you guys out there from California, where God is moving. Revival's taking place from coast to coast. We will see you this weekend in Washington, D.C. on the national mall, baby. It's gonna be amazing. God, you guys.
SPEAKER_02Hey, Sean. Oh, could I say one more thing? Sorry. Yeah. Sorry, one last thing. I was gonna say if they want to join the Baptize the World movement, sign their church up. I forgot. I'm sorry, I almost forgot. No, go to baptize.org. Baptize.
SPEAKER_04Baptize.org.
SPEAKER_02If your pastor's not involved in it yet, just tell them, hey, this movement, it's interdenominational. We're just doing, we're hoping, we're gonna preach the gospel of our churches. We're gonna do mass baptisms after service, and we're gonna join the movement. So go to baptize.org. It's free. And our heart is to unite the church, get as many churches in as many states signed up as we can, all over the world, even. So sign up at baptize.org. Thank you so much.
SPEAKER_04Thanks. Sign up, guys. Baptize the world. Let's go. God bless you. Well, here we are. It is happening this Saturday, our seventh annual Let Us Worship on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Guys, this is historic. Not just because it's the 250-year anniversary of America or that the rededicate America event is happening the very next day, but just the fact that we are able to come seven years in a row and host a large-scale worship and prayer gathering. I don't know of any ministry in U.S. history that's done this. I mean, it really is historic. We're so very grateful. Man, our hearts are just full of gratitude for everybody out there that's prayed, that's given, that's joined us on these various years, but you do not want to miss this year. Uh, there's something really profound, I believe, God's gonna do. And the fact that it's the 250 of our nation. And man, so many people are coming in from all over the world to join together. It's gonna be a four-hour revival meeting, guys. You do not want to miss this at the historic Sylvan Theater, right there next to the Washington Monument. You're gonna be looking at the White House, looking at the Capitol, looking up to heaven, praying that God would touch our land. We're gonna be worshiping, praying, taking communion, hearing the gospel preached. It is going to be incredible. So bring your friends, bring your family, show up at 4 p.m. at the Sylvan Theater, right next to the Washington Monument. And uh if you cannot join us in person, you can always join us online. We're gonna be broadcasting this all over the world. But there's nothing like being there in person. So please join us once again this Saturday. If you want to give and help make this possible, we have so many last-minute expenses. You would not have believed the cost to do these kind of things. We would love it for you to help us. You can donate on the screen right after this. God bless you guys, and we'll see you in DC. Well, welcome to Breakthrough Hour. I am so excited. My great friend, my brother from another mother, Eddie James, is joining us today. Very, very excited. And guys, this is it's just it's it's a great announcement. It's a great excitement for me to be able to officially let you know Eddie's gonna be joining us this coming Saturday on the National Mall in DC. He's gonna be throwing it down as we join together for four hours of worship and prayer and preaching and returning to God in America. This is our seventh year in a row. And Eddie has never been able to join us yet for any of these events on the mall. How are you feeling about it, man?
SPEAKER_00Um, I am super excited that I get to one, I get to be with my brother, be with you, Sean. I I always love being with you. It's always a joy, always a privilege. And um also because of the season that we're in, this moment, this time, uh, that uh is so very key to what I believe God is God's prophetic picture for America, that we get a chance to release a sound on this particular day in this particular moment. It's exciting for me.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and it is. I mean, I'm I can't wait. I'm I'm you know, this week we're we're our whole team. We're fasting and praying and just really consecrating ourselves. Well, not because I mean, we've obviously done a ton of events before. We've done DC now. This will be our seventh year in a row, but this year feels different. Like it it feels like I don't know, there's an urgency. I just want to talk about that for a minute. Like, I mean, you're you've you're a worship leader, you've been traveling and singing and you know, starting fires across the world for 20-something years now. Um what what do you feel like prophetically about this season that we're in right now and why is it so crucial for us to come together and do things like this?
SPEAKER_00Well, I think that it is as critical of a moment as we could ever have. Like, I I believe that this season in America uh is pivotal for future generations, for the return of the Lord. I honestly believe that we're in the last days. I truly believe that Jesus is soon to return. And I believe that there is still a major move of God that God wants to do in America, and I think we're at the tipping, the tipping point of that. Um, I think there are things coming on the horizon that that needs the church to step up because it's gonna be uh a time where the church was shining the brightest. It'd be dark in the world, but it would be bright days for us if we take this moment and do what we're supposed to do. And I just think, you know, for so many people who, you know, it's like people determine their involvement based on who's in the White House or what bills are being passed. I just think it's all bigger than that. I just think everything about this moment is bigger than that. And those who are believers in Christ Jesus, no matter what position you have, what side of the aisle you're on, we need to be the reality of if my people call by my name, humble themselves and pray, seek my face. We really need that. And so, you know, as I has been meditating and thinking about this, you know, I share with my with one of my um staff members, I said, I don't want to miss what I should have done in this season of the history of my country. I don't want to miss it. I don't want to be somewhere doing life as usual where my nation needs my spiritual involvement at a level that I have not done before. And so I'm coming, you know, I'm coming to add what I have to the overall picture of what God wants to do in the body of Christ in America.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, that's so good. I I I I feel that, you know, um there's a lot of things people could say, you know, and and do say about me and our ministry, and you know, or were you know these right wing, mega, whatever, white supremacists. I mean, we've heard all this. It's crazy. Yeah, it's crazy. But but but one of the things that you can't deny is that we've been incredibly consistent. So whether Biden was the president, whether it was 2030, whether there were riots, whether it was like we have not changed our tune regardless of who's in the White House, regardless of the chaos happening in America, we've been very consistent. And you know, you've been with me in a lot of those journeys. You know, we've been together in places where cities were burning because of riots and and racial unrest and everything. And we came in there together and we got to to have a season there that was so special, it really marked me. Where it seemed like God just kept sending us to place after place that needed healing and restoration.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely.
SPEAKER_04And now we get to bring that same healing and restoration to our own capital uh in the very year where we're celebrating the 250 anniversary. Talk to me a little bit about that season and that journey. Just I don't think people realize, or maybe they have an amnesia and have forgotten how crazy it was in America. You and I were out there on the streets, man.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, in the middle of COVID, releasing the releasing the glory, seeing people's lives change. I mean, man, we we've seen you know some of the greatest moments of hate come against us, and we we stood our ground and continue to press through. And we've seen people literally come off the street with just addiction and broken and seeing the power of God set them free, which to me is a prophetic picture of what God wants to do throughout the nation. But the thing I appreciate about you, Sean, that you you made mention of it earlier is that it didn't matter who was in the White House, you didn't, it didn't matter, you know, what was going on in that space. You took Jesus everywhere you were sent. You took the gospel, you took revival, you took Holy Ghost, you took baptisms, you took, I mean, it didn't matter what was going on. You saw that this nation needs hope, this nation needs Christ, this nation needs revival, and you're still like that. It didn't matter who, you know, and and I I value and appreciate that so much because some people jump on board with revival depending on who they think is winning in the in office. And we all know that revival is not coming through the White House, it's coming through the church house, it's coming through the people of God. And yes, I believe I believe in voting our values, and I believe in all of that. We should do that, but man, what's gonna turn hearts is not votes, it's gonna be the gospel of Jesus Christ. We need it, and you have been bold to declare it. And man, I celebrate you for that. It has spoken to me, it has built faith in me, it is it has made me feel like that season and we were doing that a lot together, that I was doing something where it truly mattered for the kingdom. Not that going to churches didn't matter and doing all those things, but man, when you're standing outside and you're releasing Jesus in spaces where they say you can't, you know, you know, you're it's you know, we got covet going on, and you're not supposed to be out here, what you you let people go into bars, you let people go into all these other places, and they could none of that's essential. But the main thing that's essential, you're telling us not to do, you said, nah, devil, we're gonna do it, and we're gonna do it large. And I meant those were the greatest moments of my life. I attribute to those moments. So it was an honor to do it.
SPEAKER_04I had this picture even just when you were talking. I remember so many memories of you, but I remember one we were we were rolling into uh you had your crew and then I had my crew, and we would, you know, try to find out where what housing we're gonna stay and what we're gonna do. And you always roll, you rolled with a crew was deep, man. You you didn't do but I remember we pulled up in downtown, I think it was Knoxville. We pulled up at this inner city church, and you know, we didn't always know like who was gonna host us. A lot of stuff was shut down. People were riding, it was insane. And then, of course, we were controversial, so it wasn't like the big well-known churches were gonna let us roll in. But there was a there was a homeless or uh a church downtown Knoxville that did outreach and did a lot of stuff, and they hosted us. And I remember pulling up there and we're setting up, we can't even find the pin of where this place is, and there's already like a thousand people waiting. We haven't even set anything up yet, and then I'm waiting for you, and you're like, We're we're 20 minutes away in the highway, we're rolling, and then right as we start setting the drum kit up, you pull up with your van and all your people, and it's like, we're here, you know. It was just like it was so wild that season, like no sleep. Yeah, you know, we tried our best to organize it. And the thing that's the thing people, you know, a lot of people don't understand about revival is it's like it's kind of crazy and messy, and you're trying to, you're just flying by the seat of your pants. And I remember, you know, when we did that 10 or 12 days, whatever it was in a row in Florida in the parking lot, you know, and the hunger and the passion that was there. And you know, I've been thinking a lot about that lately because I'm like, God, my kids were marked in that move. Yeah, like um so many of my friends' kids were marked in that move. I'm like, God, we need another sovereign wave of that. Like where you just come in a Hispanic church parking lot in Florida and you just draw your presence. And so I'm I'm really praying and and I'm excited that you're gonna join us. I I I I believe in and there's there's there's so many other people coming, but I believe it's God is weaving together this beautiful tapestry of relationships and history and sounds and messages uh that I'm excited that we're gonna that it's gonna culminate this Saturday. What is your hope as we you know? Know people go into the summer and you know it looks like we still have this war that's going on, you know, there's there's always division uh, you know, in America around different things. You have the political stuff, you have you know, and then you have you know all these conspiracies, you got UFOs out there, you got all these things, right? How do you encourage people to stay locked in to the presence of God to stay consistent in their worship and not get caught up and distracted? What is your key for people out there watching tonight?
SPEAKER_00I just think we have to make the main thing the main thing because all this other stuff gets distracted. It's Jesus. Jesus is the answer, Jesus is our hope, Jesus is where revival, revival in America is only going to happen because of Jesus. And we need to truly focus our attention on that. And I feel like when we can do that, then it will all the other stuff that we look at will take care of itself. I one of the things I hate that the church does is we get caught up in the propaganda of people who don't even serve our God. Yeah, we listen to their voices, we allow them to give us how to feel about things, how to view things. It's like, okay, why are you allowing these news outlets and these voices and these people who have no heart for our God shape your thinking? Why is it the Holy Ghost leading and guiding in all truth? Why isn't the Holy Spirit being our teacher? Why is it the word that lap into our feet, the lighting to us? We need to get back to Jesus and letting Him be the one that is guiding us in everything. And I believe if we did that, all of this other stuff that we get caught up in, we will, if we see it at all, we will see it through the lens of heaven, we will see through the lens of the Holy Spirit and see it as a platform to bring Christ. You know, go ye into all the world and preach the gospel. That's what that's the Great Commission. What does that part of the world need? The gospel. What does the political world need? The gospel. What does the abortion world need? The gospel. What is what is you know, these UFO people thinking they need they need the gospel. I mean it doesn't matter what space it is, if it's in the world, what it needs is the gospel. Go into all of it and bring Jesus to the center of that thing, and we'll see God do what he wants to do in that.
SPEAKER_04Come on, bro. I love that. I love that. And that's exactly what we're gonna do is we drive a stake in the ground there in the heart of our nation.
SPEAKER_00You do it every time, son. Come on, it's not. No one does it better than you.
SPEAKER_04And we're doing it together, and it's gonna be a beautiful time. Everybody that's watching this, by the way, if you can't join us in person, first of all, we'd love for you to come. I mean, it's it's gonna be unlike any time ever. So if you're in driving distance or you can jump on a quick flight, you can be there in Washington, D.C. We're gonna kick off at four. We're gonna go from four to eight. It's gonna be a four-hour knockdown, throw down revival service in the heart of our nation's capital this Saturday. But if you can't join us uh in person, you can join online. We're gonna broadcast it everywhere. Uh, and you'll be able to watch it on Facebook, YouTube, everything else. Eddie, before we leave and end this show, could you just pray us off with that fire that you're carrying, the gospel proclamation across our nation that we both love and have fought for? Would you do that as we end this time?
SPEAKER_00Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for 250 years of America being a nation. And I ask you in Jesus' name that when we gather in your name on this Saturday and Sunday, Lord, that this would be the spark of the greatest awakening America has ever witnessed in her history. I pray, God, that as we release our sound, as we release the gospel, as we release our intercession, God, that something will break in the heavenlies, something will be pierced in the darkness to such a degree that God, from the east coast to the west coast, all you hear is cities in revival, cities being saved in the day and entire states, God coming to you and seeing you as the hope of our nation. God, your word says, Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord's. Righteousness exalts a nation. Lord, I pray in Jesus' name, God, that you would release revival to such a degree that Lord, we will see our sons and our daughters coming back home. We will see God, our land healed and people saved and set free and see you lifted high in America once again. In Jesus' name. Thank you, Lord.
SPEAKER_04All right, brother. I love you. That is fire, and I will see you this Saturday on the National Mall.
SPEAKER_00Amen. See you, my see you, my brother. Thank you.
