This podcast exists to help believers shape their worldview around Christ, understand Scripture more faithfully, recover their identity as followers of Jesus, and engage in conversations that challenge the status quo of cultural Christianity.

Welcome to Around the Table, a discipleship podcast from the porch. At the porch, we believe some of the most important moments of formation happen around the table. In homes, in conversations, in scripture, in worship, in prayer, and in the honest wrestle of following Jesus together. Around the table is where we gather teachings, conversations, Bible studies, and moments from our house church community, and share them with anyone who is hungry to grow deeper in Christ. This podcast is designed to help us shape our worldview around Jesus, not simply adding him to the life we already have, but allowing him to transform the way we see God, ourselves, scripture, the world, and our place in his kingdom. In each episode, you'll hear teachings and conversations that challenge the status quo, stir up deeper faith, and invite us to ask better questions. What does it really mean to follow Jesus? How should Scripture shape the way we live? What is the gospel we've been entrusted with? Who are we as sons and daughters of God? And how do we live as faithful witnesses in our homes, our communities, and our generation? Some episodes will come from house church messages, others will come from Bible studies, recorded conversations, or teachings from different voices within the porch community. But the heart behind every episode is the same. To equip believers, spark meaningful conversation, and call us into a life of deeper discipleship. We don't want to simply consume information. We want to be formed by truth. We don't want to settle for cultural Christianity. We want to become people whose lives are shaped by the way of Jesus.
