☕🎙️ OVER-CAFFEINATED DADS EPISODE 13 🎙️☕
Episode 13 is here, and we’re talking vehicle essentials, suppressors, college football, questionable number choices, and of course caffeine.
🚙 UNDER THE HOOD
What do you keep in your vehicle? We break down some of the essential items we carry for everyday use, along with the gear we like having around for those “what if” situations. Some of it is practical, some of it is preparedness, and some of it is just stuff every dad somehow ends up carrying.
🎯 TRIGGERED
Next, we dive into the recent ruling involving Silencer Shop and talk about how the changes have made the suppressor-buying process easier for those interested in purchasing one. We share our thoughts on what’s changed and what it could mean for people who have been considering adding a suppressor to their setup.
🏈 THE THIRD STRING
College football is almost back! We talk about the upcoming season, what we’re looking forward to, and then get into the absolutely hilarious “Number 5” incident involving an NFL quarterback and his alma mater. 😂 Apparently, some jersey numbers come with a little more baggage than others.
🥤 WHAT’S IN YOUR CUP?
Well… technically, there weren’t any cups this time.
This episode, we cracked open Monster Energy Blue Hawaiian and gave it a try while wrapping up the show.
Grab your caffeine, check the emergency kit in your vehicle, and get ready for another episode of three dads talking about the things we probably spend way too much time thinking about.
Welcome everybody back to the studio.
SPEAKER_00Welcome back in. We are back. Nick Jordan, Z Money.
SPEAKER_01Back at it. Like we never left, even though we kind of did for a while. Yeah, we left. Stupid scheduling conflicts. Episode 13.
SPEAKER_03Baker's dozen.
SPEAKER_01Baker's dozen. We're trust me, we're we're working on it. We're working on it. We're trying to fine-tune everything. But like I said, scheduling. Scheduling because we're just so busy, all of us and oil field and whatnot. We're uh glad to be back though. Keep with the uh comments and stuff and actually even concerns at this point. People were reaching out going, Are you guys dead? Somebody what happened. Yeah. But no, we're back back again and uh have some interesting stuff on the on the schedule today. We're gonna see talk some under or under the hood. I almost said undercover. Undercover. Under the hood stuff, some some new gun stuff coming out or out. It's already out, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Some new regulations. And I might be interested to hear about.
SPEAKER_01What was the third thing we're talking about?
SPEAKER_03Uh we're gonna talk about third string. That's right. We're gonna talk about right in front of your face. We're gonna talk about some college football. Jordan's like, look up.
SPEAKER_02Um is this still college football though? Because isn't he in a pro?
SPEAKER_03Well, I mean, that's that's part of what we're gonna talk about. Yeah, one of the many spoilers. But grand scale, we're gonna talk about college football. Spoiler. Are we allowed to say the number, or do you think he'll sue us?
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna go with it. He can sue me only once, he's not gonna get very far.
SPEAKER_03We'll just spell it. We'll just, you know, we're gonna talk about F-I-V-E and that whole thing while we talk about college football. The number of the day is five.
SPEAKER_01Good thing it's the 17th. Brought to you by the number five. Oh maybe. But no, um, first and foremost, I think, guys, we're talking about under the hood. We're gonna kind of just give a give a little overview of like what the what's some important, very, very basic things to have in your vehicle. Um, especially because we all do road trips and things. We got we've all got kids now. And exactly. We all have trucks, but it's just things to have in in your trunk or yeah, it doesn't have to be a necessarily truck.
SPEAKER_03I mean, we all we we're off road, we like to off-road and overland, but I mean well, especially the three of us, we all have space underneath the backseat. Yeah, we're I mean, we're gonna talk about stuff that I mean, if you got a minivan that you should probably it would be a good idea to keep in there. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01We can kind of do like a round robin thing too. Like Zayn, what do you like just start us off? Like, what's one thing that you've got in your vehicle that's super basic?
SPEAKER_03Um, I have a and this brand specific, but there's there's other good brands too, because I have a couple different ones over the years that I used for motorcycles, but a jump box. A jump box is you know, because it with jumper cables, you gotta have somebody else that has power. Whereas if you keep a jump box that does the same thing, but it's you know, you just gotta make sure it's charged up, which they usually hold a charge for for forever. I mean, not forever, but for a long freaking time. Um not forever, yeah. Almost forever. Not forever, but for a very long time, like with it and go without having to charge it. But um, like in my Jeep, I have a a twin air compressor behind my backseat. So in mine, I just have a jump box that's it's a wolf box jump box that's just to be able to jump off my car, you know, if I needed to, or somebody else's not in my wife's Jeep, but she doesn't have an air compressor, so the wolf box makes like a it's called like a four-in-one, and I don't even remember what all the different options the four things are. But you know, primarily the jump box, but then it also has a built-in air compressor. So like if we needed to re-inflate a tire or something just to get us, you know, just that much further to get to a town, that's we I I we have that in the back of her Jeep. Um, and then then periodically I'll I'll check it, like I'll open it and you know, I keep it underneath. She got like a little storage area in her wagon here that's you lift the back floor up and it's under there, and I'll so I'll go check it every once in a while to make sure it's still charged. Yeah. But that's that's something I've found to come in, you know, super handy. Like I said, I started using them. The whole found about I didn't even realize jump boxes were a thing until me and Nick got on motors and our bikes would die because you make traffic stops like we'd make them like back to back to back. In the middle of a work day, it would die. Running the lights and our computers on our motorcycles, and it just you'd go to start it after you finish the stop, or it would die, and you'd be like, what the heck? You know, and so having those jump boxes in there was dynamite. And so I was like, Man, this is awesome. So we started I started carrying them in my vehicle, my personal vehicles.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so my thing is gonna be first aid kits. It seems really basic, but I cannot tell you how many times I've ran out of band-aids at the house, and then I just go out to the truck. And I've I've got a Tacoma now, and it came with one, but I also so that now I have two.
SPEAKER_02Hey, yeah, I have a tundra. Mine came with hey, does Jeep give you one?
SPEAKER_03No, but they give you a toolkit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, good for you.
SPEAKER_03No, good.
SPEAKER_01Good thing using a screwdriver to stop uh to stop your kid from bleeding. Um, but no, uh it's a ratchet. Super basic stuff, and and just to so you know what to keep in there, obviously band aids are important. Uh a turn I keep a tourniquet. Mine didn't come with one, but I keep a tourniquet in there. Uh chest seal is not bad. Because you never know. Exactly. Never know. Aointments.
SPEAKER_03I mean, look at what just happened at In and Outburger the other day.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. That's another rabbit hole.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. What about you, Jordan? So funny enough, like we know like this is this is happening live as we record this, you know. Uh mine was gonna be a first aid kit. Um just because, you know, being a boy dad, Zane, you'll you'll find out when I mean you're I mean you obviously you were a boy with that.
SPEAKER_03Oh, he's already I've already dealt with so much blood in this kid, and he's only one.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean, you get cuts and scrapes on literally everything.
SPEAKER_01Um and you know how little kids are, especially boys, they think they're gonna bleed out if you don't put a band on it.
SPEAKER_02Um but I mean, true, thankfully, like he's he's he's he's gotten a little bit tougher now, but it's just he's gotten more brave now, so he does more stupid stuff. Yeah, you know, it's the whole thing, you know, if if you're gonna be if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.
SPEAKER_03Um I saw Elliot Scorpion the other day. Dude, I'm in I'm in trouble. My kid, my kid he climbs on the kitchen table and stuff already.
SPEAKER_02Um get that first aid kit ready. But yeah, so like band-aids and stuff. I don't have a tourniquet in mine. Um just haven't just haven't got one yet.
SPEAKER_01But when you've put on as many in real life situations as I have, yeah, like you know what? I know I know there are now you have a tourniquet, Jordan.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, now you're hey, live happening. Yeah, still still in the plastic. You're welcome. Still in the plastic.
SPEAKER_02Um but yeah, first aid kit. Um I guess I can go a little bit more um I mean there's other stuff just as important. I I would say like a a jacket or a blanket. Yeah, absolutely. We never know.
SPEAKER_03It's funny you say that because I don't think it's in there right now. I think it's in the house somewhere, or it might be in my trailer, but I used to keep my wobby in my Jeep because you know, not necessarily in summertime. I think the summertime is when it got pulled out and put in the trailer, but yeah, especially in the wintertime, my wobby is usually one of the things that's in my Jeep. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Underneath my back seats right now, I have a jacket, like a a thick rain jacket. Well, those condor jackets. Oh yeah, okay. Um I have uh jumper cables. Uh the first aid kit's in kind of underneath the front floorboard, so it's not in the back, but I have first aid that first aid kit in there. Um and also, I mean, we we were kind of joking about it earlier, but I do keep some ammunition.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02And I know I'm gonna steal this from you, but a multi-tool? Multi-tool's good, yeah. I like like I mean, I mean, I have some right here, but some knives and stuff.
SPEAKER_01Every vehicle I've ever had, I keep within the last like 10 or 15 years, I've kept a multi-tool and it's saved me countless times. Whether you're out you know, I don't know doing something, or if you need to fix something in your vehicle or you're at someone's house and they don't have a screwdriver or a set of pliers.
SPEAKER_03I don't know if I have a like traditional multi-tool per se, but I know my dad one year, like as a stocking stuffer, gave me this. It looks like a snowflake, but each head of it is different. Like it's like it's a Phillips head, a flathead. It's kind of like one of those little credit card looking ones, but it's I mean, obviously it's not like this it's metal shaped like a snowflake, and even the middle, like you can put I think the middle is like a 10 millimeter, it's a 10 millimeter bolt shape. Um so I've that's in there, but I don't have an I don't think I have a multi-tool, but I do have an e-tool. Yeah. I do have an e-tool under my e-tools are very um under the backseat of my Jeep.
SPEAKER_01Um, because I mean whether you need to dig a hole to take a crap in or you need to move some sand or whatever for bounce off of your of where you're going and say that you know the current job that I have, I've had drivers that I dispatch and they've gotten stuck. And I've had to use the multi-tool once or twice. I've had to use like ever since I became a supervisor and had to go out on location when the mechanics are tied up or when something it's it makes more sense for me to just run out there. Just last week I had to use the e-tool and then I had to use traction boards. Now, traction boards are a little a little off the beaten path as far as basics to have in your vehicles just because they're kind of large. If you have a truck or an SUV and you have some space to bracket them on or keep them, I can tell you I've used the traction boards probably three times in the last in the last couple months. Yeah. Um, and I just got brackets in the mail yesterday to be able to mount those and not just have them bounce around. Because I don't want anybody, I don't want them easily accessible for somebody to steal, but they've they've come in handy. Um, especially when you're if you're going off-roading or you're in the sand or the or the mud, and especially with the roads, some of the roads in the county around here, it's really good to have that stuff.
SPEAKER_03And like you don't even need you don't have they don't have to be like fancy traction boards. I think the ones I have been using and the ones Nick has, I think, are Amazon specials. Um, but I will say this learned it from John. I was gonna get some cool like tan or you know, tan traction boards to go with my Jeep, and he's like, don't do it. He's like, I did that, and I almost lost them. And so I mine are bright orange. Yours are yellow or green, aren't they, Zayn?
SPEAKER_01You and I traded.
SPEAKER_03You know, I don't have them anymore. When I sold that bed rack, I let the guy I sold them with the bed rack, I let the guy take them. Um but I am gonna get some the only the only reason I did that is because Roto Packs came out with their own traction boards, which here I am. I said you don't need fancy ones, but I want to get some of the Roto Packs ones just because that's an easy way to store them because I already have RotoPaks stuff. Um so they'll just twist on. But yeah, they're I'm gonna get I'll probably get like a high vis orange or something like that. Yeah. Because yeah, John almost lost his tan ones in the mud because they they he was like he was having a feel for them because he couldn't see them because they're uh once you they got whoever they're trying to get out unstuck and they were like, oh crap, where the where the boards are the boards. I totally agree with that.
SPEAKER_01And that goes again, not everybody's gonna need traction boards or the or the shovel or the you know the e-tool, but if you've got the space for it and you're building a rig or you're planning on going camping or off-roading, or or or you just have a truck. Like I sometimes I just like having a truck because I know people are gonna get stuck and stuff, and having the the means, um, some kind of honorable mention things that aren't a bad idea. Again, more for recoveries, like having a toe strap, having um I just had some other like like cones or flares, they have those folding triangles now that are really compact.
SPEAKER_03Well, and even you can go away from flares, they've got those, they're like a flare. They've got the I think even the fire department uses them now, you know, just because flares, you I mean, depending on the case. I'm dating myself now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, but but I mean they've got the it's they're basically like an electronic flare. You know what I'm talking about? They little they have the little the light distribution. And they can strobe or they can run solid. Yeah, and so those are and they're you can get like a three-pack pretty inexpensively, you know.
SPEAKER_01Something that I've had in every vehicle truck and now car that I've had in the past recently is get go on Amazon or go to like a hardware store or Walmart and get you a cheap container of bungees. Yeah, I can't tell you how many times bungees have saved me in a pinch, whether it's just keeping the groceries from moving around because you've got a car, a truck full of people, or or tying stuff down. Um again, I had an Amazon situation where somebody got stuck and we had to bring back over a hundred packages from from the location because they weren't going to get delivered that day, and I ended up having to use my truck to bring them back to the warehouse. And I used my and I remember I think I don't know if you had them, Zane. I know we had them on our motorcycles, which is like that webbing. But yeah, yeah. Yeah. To be able to to bungee the the webbing on, because then you don't need to strap multiple bungees to keep things down, it's just one big one that kind of blankets all over everything. Yeah. Yeah. And again, we're there's a million things out there, but I'm just kind of spitballing stuff that we've got in our vehicles. That's a really good idea to have because you're someone, even if you don't need it, someone's gonna need it. I can't tell you how many times I've used my um air compressor. The jump the jumper cables, I'm kind of with Zayn now that they have those boxes, it's way better to get those jump boxes, but I still have a set of jumper cables in my truck. Um, the air compressor I've had to use on my motorcycle, and it and just for people that are you know just getting started, although all this this new electron electronic tech, you can some of them will have wall plugins, some of them will have the cigar, the cigarette uh lighter plugins. Make sure you know what your vehicle has. If you have an older vehicle or you just your vehicle doesn't have uh, yeah, or their USB. Um, because I think some of my stuff has a wall plug-in, because I've got a wall plug-in in the back of my truck. Um and then some of and then I've got another one that still plugs into the cigarette lighter. They still have those chargers.
SPEAKER_03And it's kind of funny how often they're doing that now, like where they're putting at least one like regular like wall plug in a vehicle.
SPEAKER_01I have a wall plug in the backseat for Elliott that's right in the center, that's connected to the center console, and then I've got like USB and USB C in the front. But the bed of my truck, I don't know if yours does too, Jordan. I've got a wall plug-in, a car charger or a uh cigarette lighter socket, and USB and USB-C all covered in the bed of my truck as well.
SPEAKER_02I think that's only the TRDs. I don't have the TRD.
SPEAKER_01Um, but yeah, that's but know your connections so that you don't buy the wrong thing.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Or or yeah, know your connections because you can buy, even if you buy the wrong thing, it's not a bad idea to have some adapters. That's true. Yeah, so you can always get adapters that you know you can get a where it's got a wall plug on one end so you can plug in.
SPEAKER_01Especially if you end up changing vehicles. Yeah. It may not it may have different connections in it, because now everything's switching to USB C. Yep. Yeah and getting away from that stuff.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, I wanted to back up just a little bit. Okay. Um, just for the like. No, just when you said like you know, toe straps and stuff like that. I think that's important to have, like, even if you're not expecting like for you to use it for somebody else, like helping somebody else, like somebody to help you. Um somebody else coming up, but like I can help you, but I don't have the stuff, you know. So it's like if you already have the stuff, like always expect to self-help, like it, right?
SPEAKER_01I love the idea that my truck is like a Swiss Army knife, that I can get myself out of damn near anything without anybody else.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Or help somebody, because I know um when I had my gladiator, Elliot and I were going somewhere, excuse me. And we ended up the Del Paso filled up with water like it always does. And somebody in a an an older lady and her and her daughter got stuck in the flood and their truck wouldn't turn over, and they were like right in the middle of like Del Paso and Glano. And I was able to pull over and get out. I think Hacker ended up driving up in his Jeep, and we were able to get that lady out. I can't remember who it was, but somebody else showed up in a gladiator and we were able to get them out. It's just I think it was because I think I remember him telling me that story too. It's just a good, it's just good to have that stuff. And again, uh some people, you know, they're in town, they're never gonna use that, they're never gonna use that stuff. But I mean the you know, the jump, the jumper cables, the jump box, I mean hell, an umbrella, a tire patch kit.
SPEAKER_03Well, and dude, it it yeah, and you may never use it, but that's that goes down comes goes back to my favorite saying of it's better to have it and not need it than need it, not have it. Exactly.
SPEAKER_01And even if you have a car, I mean you've got tons of trunk space. How often are you gonna use the entire trunk? You could dedicate part of your trunk to to getting yourself out of a situation.
SPEAKER_03Well, when we talk about go bags, like you know, we talk about go bags where we put guns and bullets, like have a go bag for your car, like put a you know, like an emergency kit in your car and flashlight, headlamp, flashlight, yeah, MRE, gloves, food.
SPEAKER_02If you get stuck on the on the highway and you're in the middle of nowhere.
SPEAKER_01Because I mean I, you know, I don't mind getting dirty, but I've also had that. I've had stuff get stuck underneath the car, I've had you know, something stuck in a tire. Why not just put on a pair of gloves and protect your hands from getting all cut up from what are especially the caliche and everything that we run into around here? It's just it's a good idea.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, just keep your hands soft.
SPEAKER_01Moisturized. Rip in peace, Bernie Mac.
SPEAKER_03I've tried all kinds of nighttime remedies.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, just a just a basic overview of some of the stuff that we like to have in our in our trucks that isn't you know over-the-top racks and and winches and things like that. Obviously, in the perfect world, we want all that stuff, and we'll we'll have later episodes where we talk about that stuff. But we wanted to give a very basic overview of things to have that are important.
SPEAKER_02I think everybody needs a belt-fed machine gun in their kit, you know. I mean, if you have a Toyota, it should come with one.
SPEAKER_03But our buddy Chilo would agro agree with you more, buddy, Jordan.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Um, but yeah, if we have any if there's something we you think we missed, let me let us know.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, dude, comment on the video. Because we like doing these videos to tell people. Let us know what you guys have in your kits, you know. Exactly, to help other people that are building their stuff. And I know some of some of y'all are listening on you know, iTunes and stuff, and so there's not you can't necessarily comment, but we're on Facebook, we're on TikTok, we're on Instagram, like go go find our pages and just you know shoot us a message or or come, you know, post something on the pages.
SPEAKER_01It's funny how many DMs we get. We really do. I mean, even with some of the hiatuses that we've had, we still have people reach out, we still have people asking questions about future episodes and and for more information or elaboration on stuff. So we we love that, guys. Keep that up. Yeah. Um I think we're gonna break off into a new segment, or not a new segment to us, a different segment. Different segment. Um lead us away, Jordan.
SPEAKER_02Talking about some triggered? Triggered suppressors. I mean, I don't know if you listening to this, both of you might have already heard, but if you're not you know familiar with the gun world, if you don't watch it or listen to it or whatever, read it. Um we'll pay attention. We'll pay attention. Uh so there's been a new ruling in the whole NFA Act. Um countrywide. Countrywide. Um, but it's only only in 27 states is it happening. Oh, really? Yeah, it's only 27 states. There's other states that are like just because of their bylaws or their laws or whatever.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, some so some of the states that where it doesn't apply, the state law itself says that a form four has to be completed.
SPEAKER_02Um 27 of the states, which most people we talk to are or communicate with are in Texas or New Mexico. Yeah. Those two are definitely in it. Um, I know for a fact because I did it. But anyway, so the suppressor law, um, uh Silencer Shop and Brandon Herrera are two the two major big ones. I know Palmetto's in that too. There's some other ones that um I guess for the lack of a better term, sued the government and said, Hey, we're not gonna we're not gonna do this stupid uh Form 4 law anymore. Um sorry. Um and so at midnight, I think this was the Wednesday or Thursday at midnight, Brennan Herrera. Who's the 13th, I think. Yeah, he did the first no form 4 suppressor, and that, you know, obviously jump started everybody else getting theirs. And the next day, you know, I go to a local store here and they their entire thing was sold out. I talked to I I went and got a suppressor myself. Um and they uh uh one of the the the manager there was telling me that they had 41 suppressors on order and that he expected to sell them all. So I mean it's just it's gone pretty crazy. Oh yeah, he pulled up the map there. So all the red all the red ones, and I'll I'll I'll throw it up on the thing, but all the red ones there are good.
SPEAKER_01So Zayn, I don't know if you already know this. I'm on I'm on Reddit right now, but the map shows uh California, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and Delaware as banned states. Yes.
SPEAKER_02I think I think that's you can't get a suppressor at all.
SPEAKER_01Which makes sense. I mean in California you can only have what up to like a 10-round magazine.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, your AR magazines have to be fixed. Like it can't be detached.
SPEAKER_02You can't detach your magazines from AR. Yeah, it's stupid. Exactly. What? How do you how do you refill it? I don't know. I've never seen what I'm saying. They're like, that's the idea. You can't sort of go away. No, there is a way to take the take the magazine out.
SPEAKER_03There's it's like set in like a pin.
SPEAKER_02Like there's like a pin in the there's a process to take the magazine and just like drop it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. You know, I guess technically the magazine is detachable. Oh, California. In the same way that like a bolt gun, like a that has a has the bolt magazine with the boat.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I know what you're saying.
SPEAKER_02But uh the floor plate.
SPEAKER_01NFA states include um Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Montana, North Dakota, Colorado, Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania. Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Connecticut.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so those are the ones where you have to have a form for the fingerprints and all the things.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's the one I have, Zayn. So everybody else, you don't.
SPEAKER_02And then all the red ones are the you can walk in. No way, Texas and Florida, you must be kidding me. Texas and tropical Texas. Dude, I actually was surprised that New Mexico was on that, to be on, to be honest. I was kind of nervous. I was like, oh, please be a good one.
SPEAKER_01For those of you that don't know, if you buy a gun and you don't have a concealed carry, you have to wait seven days from the day that you buy the gun. That way you can't be like, I hate you. I want to kill you.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna go buy a gun right now to kill you. If you were to go, if you're from New Mexico and you were to go to Texas, that's free to say that's rude that you would even bring that up. And you know, the specific chain store like Shields to purchase a gun and then a bucket.
SPEAKER_01Buy an AR-12 with the case and other things.
SPEAKER_03You're from New Mexico, so you can't actually leave with it until seven days later.
SPEAKER_01So then they let you buy it and you think you're gonna walk out, and then all your friends that you're with make fun of you because you have to return it. They're like, well, you can come back. I'm like, well, I live five and a half hours away, so why?
SPEAKER_03So two years ago, three years ago? Cabela's Bass Pro is all the same. At those chain stores, if you have our license that in New Mexico and you purchase a rifle that you could normally just purchase and take home in it in that state.
SPEAKER_01That was the crappiest part about Zane's batch of party. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02In which I was like, never mind, I'm going home. Segueing off that, Zayn, I don't know if the suppressor laws like if I don't know if we go to Texas and buy a suppressor.
SPEAKER_03I don't I don't think so. Well, so just to my knowledge, the w the way suppressors kind of worked is it's kind of like a handgun. Whereas you could purchase said handgun in Texas, you could not take possession of it. They would have you could purchase it and they would have to transfer it and take possession in New Mexico.
SPEAKER_02But the transferring of a suppressor is different than the transferring of a handgun.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_02Well, no, they have to do the whole form stuff, which that's what that's what the manager at Two A was kind of explaining to me. Okay. So yeah, so I don't think we can go to Texas and go, I guess we could.
SPEAKER_01But the new ruling, I don't know. What I'm seeing so far is that you can buy them, but you still have to transfer them. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, that's like Texas.
SPEAKER_01Out of state retailer dealer must be shipped to a licensed FFL. So I think I don't unless that's changed, because I don't know when this this answer Excuse me, what I just found is was posted.
SPEAKER_02Also, the laws online are totally different right now because they haven't updated anything. Right.
SPEAKER_01This means this this happened. I was trying to find something the other day recording to see if they when we're recording.
SPEAKER_03Well, I remember John telling me one time, like, so if you purchase like a Texas made suppressor in Texas, as long as it doesn't leave the state of Texas, you were good. You didn't need a Form 4 or anything even before this. There was like a interesting thing, yeah. He was telling me, and maybe I have it wrong a little bit. John, if you if you're listening, comment, let me know how that yeah, correct me on how that but I was pretty sure he was telling me that like if you were to purchase a Texas made suppressor in Texas, uh like as long as it didn't leave Texas the state of Texas, you were good to have it.
SPEAKER_01So I mean that's except everybody in Texas is like, so I just bought the suppressor, I'm gonna take it everywhere else.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, well that's which you know what I mean. That this is before this was enacted.
SPEAKER_01It's kind of like Zane, if you remember when we would when we would work DWIs as cops, and it was like, okay, everything makes sense, and then they legalize marijuana, and you're like, oh, okay, so do all those rules apply to that too? And they're like, uh we haven't gotten that far yet.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it was it was weird for a few years. You legalized them for it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's kind of how it is right now. I know they're they're gonna update the ATF site um, I think Wednesday or Tuesday of this week. Maybe it'll say that they closed forever. Yeah. Hopefully. That'd be awesome.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. We actually don't have any more information because we're shutting our doors.
SPEAKER_02Oh, belt feds.
SPEAKER_03Um but transferring everybody to the IRS.
SPEAKER_02So right now, those red states that we mentioned, and again, we'll throw up the map on the recording. Um, but if you're listening, New Mexico where we live is as a red state. Um shocking. Not in terms of voting. Yeah, not in terms of election. Definitely not in terms of election. Uh we're a red state as far as um there's no the suppressor thing. Um suppressor thing. So, and to mention that, like it has to be a dealer that is a silencer shop dealer. Uh so you can't just it's not any suppressor.
SPEAKER_03Silencer shop specifically is the one who does the supply.
SPEAKER_02Silencer shop is the one who does the law. So it's gotta be a suppressor.
SPEAKER_01Are you saying I can't just go to Walgreens and buy a suppressor? Correct.
SPEAKER_02You definitely can't go to Walgreens and buy a suppressor. Not unless they are a silencer shop. Unless they have a silencer shop.
SPEAKER_01But you're saying that I also can't buy a suppressor from anyone on a street corner.
SPEAKER_02That's true. Or Craigslist. So the manager at the gun store that I go to, he's he actually had a they had a customer um purchase two suppressors thinking that they were and got them transferred, thinking that that was gonna happen. He said, You still have to do the form four. He's like, What what are you talking about? He's like, you need to get him through Silencer Shop. And so that's kind of the whole caveat right now is people understanding.
SPEAKER_01So like if you bought if you bought a suppressor from a pawn shop, that would not apply.
SPEAKER_02That would not apply. I don't think a pawn shop could, but I I get what you're saying. Just for this, yeah.
SPEAKER_03So it depends. I mean, they they have to get an FFL just like any other business would. And so if they're gonna sell suppressors, they would have to have the SOT. So they I mean they could. You could have a pawn shop become a silencer shop authorized dealer.
SPEAKER_01But right, but it but as far as rules go for sake of conversation. If you if they didn't have that correct, yeah, you would have to you have to fill out the paperwork.
SPEAKER_03Because by you going through a silencer shop authorized dealer, now that it you're get you get covered by the same lawsuit, right?
SPEAKER_02Same umbrella. And he also said it it'll also help you in the long run to um become a GOA or NRA member. Um kind of double covers you because the G O A and and NRA are also in that lawsuit. So you're kind of like Did you guys cover the lawsuit? Uh like why why this all happened? Um I don't know the details on all that. Basically gist of it is they're tired of the ATF's overstep on suppressors and other stuff. Like their rules are completely stupid.
SPEAKER_03So they they've been trying for I know for several years to pass to get what's called the National Hearing Protection Act. Yeah. To basically change the rules for suppressors. And maybe that's where I was getting that the whole suppressor's like a handgun. But they were basically trying to change the rules for suppressors to go away from having a tax stamp required to being like a handgun where you said to purchase it in the state, it's an accessory, but you had to put the rules would follow as far as like you had to be 21 or over to purchase it, you have to do it in the state you live in, um, you know, that kind of thing. That's that's kind of what they were wanting to do with the National Hearing Protection Act. But then there was some stuff that came out where like that they're gonna have to rework the way that's worded for the National Hearing Protection Act because they're like, well, now it doesn't apply per se anymore because the $200 tax stamp is gone, right? There is no additional fee or whatever. So they have to I saw I got an e I get email updates on that periodically, and they they're gonna have to rework the way that bill is worded or something because of that. The $200 tax stamp going away.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and like they're trying to like SBRs, um, other stuff like that. They're trying to get uh that kind of uh what's the word I'm looking for? Kind of grandfathered into this suppressor thing too. Um so you don't have to register your SBRs. Um they're trying to they're trying to do that too now because I mean a lot of the rules are kind of stupid. It's like you know the whole you have to have a pistol brace. A lot of the pistol braces are just like a stock. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So there's what's the thing is you're it they tell you like you're supposed to have a pistol brace, but and you're not supposed to shoulder it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Okay. Alright. And it's just like a lot of the rules are just stupid. Like I mean, ballistically, I don't think a shorter shorter barrel doesn't make it more dangerous.
SPEAKER_03The the thing with it is their whole like the main reasoning that I've always found behind it is that because with the SBR you it's you know, obviously you can usually carry more more rounds, you get higher capacity, and you can conceal it easier.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I mean I get that, but at the same time, same thing with a pistol.
SPEAKER_03I mean you get a Glock with a 50-round drum and and a Glock switch or an FRT.
SPEAKER_02And then stupid ATF.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, um if y'all had any luck buying suppressors, if y'all got one, shoot us what you got. Um I I'm gonna go ahead and show mine.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because Jordan waited all of like three minutes after that and came out to go ahead and get it.
SPEAKER_03I came out on the 13th and Jordan bought that on the 14th.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Um, which is funny. I have a buddy, right? Like last week he started the paperwork on a suppressor. Caleb sucks to be you, buddy. So does he have to wait now? He has to do the wait because he's not they're not grandfather did. He can't cancel it, like just cancel the purchase and then re-co, but the whole pro like I was I was talking to the guy because he got it at the same gun shop that I go to. Okay. I was talking to the manager um who actually did his paperwork. Um, he and I was asking him about it. So, like, hey, my buddy did this.
SPEAKER_00Wow, the sky stinks.
SPEAKER_02I was like, he's like, we have a customer still, like, this has been months, a month, months-long process. He something happened, he moved to Texas. Oh. So the the address on the paperwork is no longer valid. Is no longer valid, so he has to cancel that and redo it all. And he said, That's been months. Like, they've all done their part. It's the it's the uh the ATF dragging their feet to cancel they all they had to do is just cancel it.
SPEAKER_03Well, dude, I remember when I so then shoot, this was several years ago now, but I remember when I did my first paperwork stuff to get my SBR. This is even before I got my suppressors, but my SBR sat at the gun shop for 18 months. It took eighteen months.
SPEAKER_01That was LGS, wasn't it? Yeah, yeah, I remember that.
SPEAKER_03It took eighteen months, yeah. My market my DD market team took eighteen months to get everything through. So that was and then my but dude, my suppressors, even doing the Form 4s and stuff later on them later, it took like two months, I think.
SPEAKER_02Which you could have done just hypothetically if someone were to do it. I don't think anybody in this room would, but you could have just built a SBR and I mean sure. Not have to do any of that paperwork. Um government, if you're listening, Jordan said that I could tell you his address. I would never do that though. I have not done that to any of my firearms. Anyways, yeah. Moving on. Moving on. We we digress. Um yeah, so my my buddy went in there. Yeah, he's talking to wait the process, which I he should be getting it this week sometime. Um Caleb. Which oh Caleb. Sorry, buddy. You're probably not even gonna listen to this, but anyway. Um yeah, if you have more information, I mean shoot in our comments that way we're not looking too stupid. Silly. Um yeah, if if you and if you've got a suppressor, if you if you've uh taken advantage of this time in life to get one, um shoot us what you got. I got a dead air, or not dead air, sorry, uh Huck's works. Um they're uh Flux9, I think is what it's called. But super awesome, super quiet. Suppressors are fun. If you don't have a suppressor, you should get one.
SPEAKER_03They are fun.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they are working on it. Yeah. And moving on. Priorities, you know what I mean? Yeah. For go ahead, Zayn.
SPEAKER_03For our final segment, our third segment, we've got the third string. Although I think in light of the the fifth string. Yeah, we're gonna go fifth, we're gonna temporarily call it the fifth string. In honor of Jaden Daniels. So we're gonna we're gonna talk a little bit about college football and you know the upcoming season. Um, we're all pretty avid college football watchers in here, um, some more than others. Yeah. Over there, Nick. A little hype. But yeah, yeah, we'll we'll talk about the upcoming season as well as the whole nonsense we've seen in the news about Jaden Daniels and the whole number five situation.
SPEAKER_01You know, so for those of you that don't know, Jaden Daniels plays for the Commanders, he's the quarterback and number five, of course. Went to LSU, won the Heisman, um, didn't win a national championship, just for putting that out there. No natty. Um, hasn't done much in the NFL, in my opinion. He threw I like just over 3,500 yards his first season um in 24, and then last year he got hurt and only three. Pretty good for a rookie. I mean, I'll give him that. 25 tutties and nine interceptions. Um, but needless to say, recently, I guess Zane reminded me it was like a cornerback or somebody that wore number five at LSU recently. Pickett, I think, is his name. He Jaden Daniels sent LSU a cease and desist and was like, You can't use my likeness, you can't use this, you can't use that. And they were like, Well, we never retired your number for one. Uh Joe Burrow has never made a big issue about any of that. Um, he wore nine. Right. But I mean he hasn't made a big stink about anybody wearing the number nine. Yeah. Um, and that he's just been made, and so obviously the internet went ablaze and roasted it where they all went to practice wearing number five. Wow, yeah. If that's not the biggest middle finger from your from your alma mater, I don't know what is. That's a big troll.
SPEAKER_02I don't know what's going on.
SPEAKER_01Like back in the day, you could do you could say and do dumb things, and you know, only your inner circle would be able to get a hold of you, but goodness with the internet, so you're getting meaten alive. If he doesn't, if he doesn't throw it, he said they're gonna get rid of the fifth inning season would be able to get a hold of you, but he's going to get roasted. Yeah, he's done. The commanders haven't been good since they were the Redskins, just saying.
SPEAKER_00He's going to get roasted watching a clip.
SPEAKER_03I mean, it's funny, like just some of the in entitlement, you know, that just I got I remember there was watching a clip. And this is this is going pro football, not college, but Devontae Adams was talking about when he went to the you know, left Las Vegas and went to the Jets, you know, he he brought $17,000 in cash to give to because there was a rookie that had 17 already, and he's like, you know, he's like gonna give him the cash so he could get his number. And then he told him he's like, you know, I got $17,000 cash for you, and I'll, you know, I know all your family bought jerseys with you, you know, so I'll I'll pay to buy get them all new jerseys on top of the cash. And he's like, he's he's a you know, I respect you and all that, but I'm gonna need a lot of people. But you know what though, the fact that the guy made that made the effort was like, You've sold jerseys, you've done this, you've done that, I'm willing to pay for it.
SPEAKER_01So instead of him getting the money, he got nothing, you know, just like rookie and was like, people think it's dumb, but yeah, I mean how the number 23 is marketed.
SPEAKER_03Rather than just taking it it was one of the greatest basketball players.
SPEAKER_01The greatest basketball player of all time. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Sorry, Will. Yeah, the greatest. Michael Jordan, yeah. Okay, obviously. LeBron has had a jump to how many teams win it? Jordan six times Jordan, which number twenty three after quitting and playing baseball for a little bit, but it's fine. Making sure. Yes. Yes. I'm not saying that only because I was born in Chicago during the Jordan. I bet you should work that it is because he's legit, but no, I just think it's people think it's dumb, but you build a brand off of it. I mean, Tom Brady had the number 12 in his logo. Um, sorry. I just think it's um like people people build their brand off of the number that they have, and it ha it might have sentimental value from something growing up, or you know, like I mean, I got to be the number 23. Um my birthday's April 23rd. People build their brand. I grew up during the Jordan era. Um, I was able to get it in high school lacrosse and football. So it's it seems dumb to some people, but when when you have that number and it has some value to you, like it's it's important. And I know that with a lot of these guys in any sport getting traded from team to team to team, it seems dumb to some. It's it's nice to know that you can at least have that conversation with your teammates. Like, hey, is are you partial to that number or are you willing to give it to me? Because then you also have teams that are retiring numbers. You know, I don't think anybody for the Bulls will ever have 23, obviously. Are you partial to that number? Just kind of give it to me. Because then you also are teams are retiring numbers. You know, I don't think anybody for the bulls will ever have 23.
SPEAKER_03No, probably not.
SPEAKER_02Which is funny, like you mentioned that they want to just kind of uh in my own personal life, like doing soccer basically. Like they have their numbers that they want, right? And they want to build that off that, and if someone else takes it, it's like the end of the world. Yeah. No, he was 20 or he was eight. It's it's crazy.
SPEAKER_01Um got into that hole scandal of cheating on his wife, and like kind of and like switch numbers to kind of four card reset and yeah, rebrand himself. He got into that hole in 23. No, he yeah, he was now he was 24. And like Kobe did that like switch numbers to kind of rebrand himself.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_02So I thought I thought he went to 23, but yeah, sorry.
SPEAKER_03I think he I think he did that because he played with Jordan.
SPEAKER_01I don't want to go down the rabbit hole because I know I'm gonna I'm gonna a rookie or a batman played with a Jordan for King.
SPEAKER_03But I just think that's a good one.
SPEAKER_01I just think it's Kobe was it's it's good to have those conversations instead of just assuming that you're gonna get a number like that or assuming that you're not gonna give it away to have to be to be open to conversation. I mean, just like Zayn said, the guy ultimately told him I'll do it for a million. And to some of to some guys, a million isn't anything, but when you're first starting out and kind of building yourself, a million still is just like you have to make that determination, right? Am I gonna eat you know, be able to eat my meals during the week and stuff? Have you ever heard those stories, Jordan? I know you may have a million, but am I gonna do I want to eat or you know, be able to eat my nails during the biggest?
SPEAKER_03Oh, I okay, sorry, I heard the bummer wrong, right?
SPEAKER_00Have you ever heard those stories, Jordan? I know I'm saying you probably have to be a little bit more than a lot of people.
SPEAKER_03Well, wait, I think you're getting it backwards.
SPEAKER_01The rookie wanted a million from the old NFL, I feel like they would have been like, I'm taking the number. I'm not giving you anything.
SPEAKER_03Or hey, I want to give you 17,000 for you know, so I can have my number. Well, that's what I'm saying. He he tried he was trying to be respectful about it, you know, and and you know, give the guy 17,000 and then pay for his family to get jerseys, and then the rookie was like, uh, you know, I respect you and all that, but I'm gonna need a mill for that number. And he's like, Oh, okay. So then he went to the equipment manager and said, Give me 17. They said, Okay. That's funny. He tried to be, he tried to, you know, be cool about it and and pay him for it, and to help, you know, because to understand the rookie and all that, and you know, because he's just getting his career started, but he's like, hey.
SPEAKER_01And the funny thing is, too, Zayn, I and I know you know this too, is it carries over like in clear games when you and I have made characters on NC that you're mad and like you have a number you're partial to, even in a game. And for me, uh again, I'm going down the rabbit hole, but I love the number 23, but it doesn't really make sense for a quarterback to be number 23 unless you're Jason Lorenzen or that Lorenzen guy from Kentucky that was like a 300-pound quarterback whose number was 22.
SPEAKER_00But it doesn't really make sense for a quarterback to be number 23 unless you're Jason's number.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, bear Kentucky that something pound quarterback whose number was. No, they're they're brothers. Dude, no, it's bear something because his brother has a wild name. I was like, what's up? But anyway, um, we're going way off. So to reel us back in, we also said we were gonna talk about this new preseason um NCA football poll that came out. I love that me and Jordan for all Jordan slash Zayn's favorite teams or the top two teams in the country. Um honestly, NCAA. I don't take it serious because I mean you lose a game or somebody wins a big game and the whole thing flips upside down, but uh it's nice to know that our teams are getting you know the respect that they've that they've earned and the money that they've spent to build these teams and they play each other this year, which would be amazing if we could go watch those games. But I'd love for Zayn and I to get to go to Columbus for Zane to get to go to Columbus, not even not as an Ohio State fan, and just feel the atmosphere and the culture of I'd love for Zane and I to get to go to Columbus. It's the whole I mean, literally I remember being a little kid in the 90s, I I don't remember if it was 95 or 97 when they played Michigan State. It was the first game I ever went to. It was a night game and it was before they had their lights. Like they had little lights in the stadium, but they literally had trailers with arms that would lift all the way up over the stadium to shine on the on the field before they got their own lights. And they and they were Ohio State was number one and they lost. Yeah, they literally had but being in a stadium, a full stadium with over a hundred thousand people, I immediately fell in love and I've been a fan ever since for literally that reason. It's yeah, but being in a stadium, a full Full stadium with over a hundred thousand people. I literally thought that would be a literally that we're nine.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's cool. See and I've never been. Um, you know, and but I really want to go to a game at Austin Stadium, you know, the Odson Zoo. It's one I mean, it's one of the things that's crazy when they when they work with acoustics because I want to say that's the same.
SPEAKER_00Seahawks Stadium is like that.
SPEAKER_03One of the loudest stadiums in college football. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I know it's it's crazy when they when they work with acoustics, because I want to say I've heard that.
SPEAKER_03Seahawks stadium is like the Seahawks is designed to be to be freaking loud. Um I think the Chiefs is that way as well. Because the Chiefs and the Seahawks, I think, go back and forth on the streets. I think ATT holds 80,000.
SPEAKER_01Doesn't it?
SPEAKER_03And it's crazy because we have there's indoor stadiums. There's domes. Yeah. Like the super dome and stuff.
SPEAKER_01And like what Zayn was just saying, in a in an open stadium, being louder than a dome, I wouldn't you wouldn't expect that.
SPEAKER_03Something like that. 80 or 83. It's weird how acoustics work. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01And like what Zane was just saying, in a in an open stadium, being louder than a dome, I would respect it.
SPEAKER_03Well, and that's it's crazy because that's that's part of the state. I think it's 104. They absolutely build like that's Penn State, especially college football. That's you know, places like Ohio State, because it's what, a hundred and something thousand people?
SPEAKER_01No, in fact, I've looked it up because it's one again, correct? Michigan is number one state guys. Estadio Azteca in the Mexico State is bigger. That's that it's like 120 or 140,000 people that fit in there. And then there's uh if again I could be wrong on this, but I want to say there's a uh cricket. I almost said quidditch. There's a crate thing for it. There's a cricket stadium in India that's that's like the biggest. I can't I can't remember if it was in the Middle East or if it's in India that there's a same thing.
SPEAKER_03They're both made up. That's that's the biggest.
SPEAKER_00I can't I can't remember if it was in the Middle East or if it's in India that's uh I think it's in India.
SPEAKER_03I think I know the one you're talking. Yeah, because I was looking at it.
SPEAKER_01Because like I've never been to Michigan Stadium, never been to happy one of the two happy valleys. Um across you know, because there's the largest stadiums in the world. I mean, I've I've watched tons of Ohio State Penn State games or anybody against Penn State when they do the whiteout. And it's it's pretty wild. And Ohio State's planning on doing blackouts and red outs this year. I just saw in the news. Just to because everybody's aware, the AP top twenty-five this year. Um has Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia, Notre Dame, Texas, Indiana, Miami, uh, Texas AM, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, LSU, Texas Tech, um, Bama, USC, BYU, uh USC and BYU. Zane, I don't know if you knew this are tied for 14 in the preseason poll. They're both listed as number 14.
SPEAKER_00Um Bama, USCU, BYU, USU above. Uh USC and BYU. LSU.
SPEAKER_01LSU, then Texas Tech, Bama, uh, USC and BYU, tied for 14. Did you see? Uh Michigan, Washington, Penn State, Southern Mist. Oh, okay, okay, okay. I was like, is that wait, Southern Mist, is that who SMU is, or is it Southern Methodists? Methodists, my bad. Uh Tennessee, Utah, Iowa, Houston, Louisville, and Missouri. And then shout out to our friend David Torres. His his uh Cowboys of Oklahoma State are looking to have a pretty good season this year. They're not ranked in this um ranking system, but I know some some podcasters and and important people in college football have them listed close to, if not in their top 25.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think a lot of people, well, there's been quite a few people putting them at 25 because I know some of the comments uh when I've seen that, they're like, Yeah, take it, take it with a grain of salt. You know, the injuries happen and things like that.
SPEAKER_01But I am really excited. And I'm like for those of I'm again, this is going down a different rabbit hole that we can talk about playing time. But I just want to say I think NIL has been kind of a blessing and a curse. I was always worried that NIL would create NFL type problems where people just get greedy and they just want a bunch of money. Um, but I think it's guy kids want to get paid, so now the wealth is getting spread amongst schools like your Kentucky's that that haven't been good in a while in football. They have always been a basketball powerhouse. And you know, tech is finally being Texas Tech is being able to build a program, a bigger, a bigger and better program over there. I think it's I think that's really important. And you know, tech is finally being Texas Tech is being able to build a program, a bigger, a bigger and better program over there.
SPEAKER_03Well, it's I think that's really important. It's kind of funny because you know, now you can get sponsors and things like that to bring still money for the NIL versus we let's face it, we know before have you seen Zayn that's what NIL stands for? Now it's legal.
SPEAKER_04We all know it.
SPEAKER_03I mean now everybody can afford to do it because before you you the only people that could afford it and their backups were better than before you had most schools. Schools like Alabama, Georgia, USC that had loads of money and could do that. They could you know pay under the table. Yeah, exactly. Like I remember when when Reggie Bush was playing at USC, like there was like he was a five-star recruit out of high school, and then there was like and now these guys want to start, so they're transferring and then they've got the transfer portal so they can go to other schools.
SPEAKER_01I just think it's it was another five-star guy that's it sucks for people that that are in it just for the for the tradition and and everything like that, because it's it does take away from that. But I again I think it's it spreads the wealth across the country. So now BYU is is a power is considered a powerhouse because they're in the play, they're literally ranked and in the playoffs. Or or in or they're ranked every year.
SPEAKER_00So now well and it adds a new dynamic to recruiting because not only is a power is considered a powerhouse because they're literally ranked and in the playoffs. I mean, or in or they're ranked out of the year being.
SPEAKER_03You know, as a head coach, you're trying to recruit players out of high school, you know, but it really puts a lot of things. You gotta have guys that'll sell because you can get the same amount of money spot, you know. So for example, I'll use Jeremiah Smith. He's from Florida.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like who's gonna say that a kid from Florida is gonna want to go play in the snow or in the in the brisk cold, you know, in like a in like a Michigan or somewhere, you know, up in New York or even in Columbus. And it's and I just want to point out that Jeremiah Smith was offered 10 million to go to another school and he decided to stay at Ohio State one more year. Or in Ohio State. No one has come out and said who it is, but he's from I want to say he's from Miami Gardens. I want to say it was Miami because they played each other and then and we lost him in the playoffs that turn him. I think they threw him a check and he and he turned it down and stayed another year in Columbus. So I want to say that's the right thing. Just know that that stuff's out there too. Just because they sign at a school doesn't mean they're gonna stay there. I think they threw in a check and eat and he turned it down and stay another year at Columbus. So just know that that stuff's out there too. You've got to sign at a school and then they'll say that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, well, you you've got guys that'll go to a school thinking that's you know that's their fit and then the position change, you know, whatever position they doesn't really fit their, you know, the scheme doesn't necessarily fit, and then they'll go somewhere else and almost get reinvented, you know. Like um, like Bo Nicks. Yeah, or even position change, like Bo Nix. Books decent Auburn. He was you know, he was alright. He came to Oregon and it was like it was definitely not the same Bo Nicks that was at Auburn. You know what I mean?
