In this episode of HUBBLElife, we journey back to where it all began—before we were born. What if you had a family before this life, and what if that connection helps you remember who you truly are now? We explore the idea of the “God seed”—the divine potential already within each of us—and what it means to grow into who we were always meant to be. Join us as we reflect on our eternal journey, our purpose, and how we can live with greater intention today.

Welcome back to Hubble Life, fellow travelers. Today we're gonna continue our journey, and this time we're gonna look at who we were before this life and what that means for who we're becoming. So let me ask you this. What if you had a family before you came here? That this was not a new experience of family, and not just any family, but one that you've known for eternity. In this episode, we're going to explore what that means. To remember who we have always been and the divine potential that's inside each and every one of us that's waiting to unfold. So we're gonna step back to before this life so we can see more clearly who we can become. We were never strangers. We came from a family. We lived together as a family. Before you ever took your first breath on this earth, you belonged to someone. You weren't random, you weren't an accident. You were known. You were loved, and you were part of an eternal family, not just here, but there in the pre-mortal life. And maybe, just maybe, the reason that we spend so much of our time searching for connection is because somewhere deep inside of us, we know that we were together somewhere before. We remember what it felt like and that we were never meant to be alone. Last episode, we talked a little bit about where we came from, our pre-mortal life, the plan of salvation, uh, Heavenly Father presenting that plan and our Savior Jesus Christ. But today we're gonna just go a little bit deeper than that because this isn't just about where you came from, it's about who you came from. It's about what it meant to be there, what it meant to live there. Because you just didn't come from somewhere. You came from someone, you came from a family. There has never been a version of you that didn't matter. You've mattered long before you ever set foot on this earth. Before this life, you were known. You were never overlooked, and you weren't trying to figure out where you fit in. You were already seen, you were already understood, and you were already loved. And maybe that's why here on earth we crave to be known so deeply. It goes deeper than just what we see here. Because it's not something new that we're chasing, it's something familiar that we're trying to find again. Here in this life, we learn to perform. We try to earn love, we try to prove our worth, we try to measure ourselves against everyone else. And that just doesn't work. We know that comparison is the thief of joy. We miss out on so many things when we do that. But what if we that was never how it was meant to be? What if belonging isn't something that you achieve? It's not somewhere you have to get to, it's not something you measure up to, but it's something that you remember. Because before this life, you didn't belong because of what you did, or the things that you did, or the things that you liked. You belonged because of who you were. Have you ever felt um a kind of homesickness where you couldn't really explain exactly where home actually was? A feeling like something's missing in your life, or that you're supposed to, there's something bigger that you're supposed to be doing, um, even when everything looks fine. A number of years ago, I had a necklace and it had um an earth on it. It was a small world that that hung from a chain, and I I loved that necklace. And not because it was fancy, but I loved it because it reminded me every time I wore it, it would remind me that I'm I'm not from here. This is a place that I'm visiting. This isn't my permanent home, and sometimes I miss home. Um this is a place where I'm learning, it's a place where I'm growing, but it's not where I started. It's almost like this life is an extended study abroad, and just like any study abroad, you remember your home, you don't forget your home, even when you're learning somewhere new. And maybe that quiet ache that we feel sometimes isn't something being lost, it's something that's being remembered. It's a place where you are completely known and completely connected, you were never alone. And what if the people who matter most to you aren't coincidences? Have you ever met somebody and you feel like I feel like we've known each other before? Like this connection that we have is so incredible, and it feels like we've been friends forever. I think we've probably all experienced that. So what if those connections that you feel, the love that you have for certain people, that pull towards certain people, maybe that didn't start here. Maybe it's just because it's not that we're building relationships in this life, but maybe we're remembering some of those relationships that we knew before. Maybe we came here already connected. And this life is helping us to find our way back to each other. And once we do, there's kind of that special like connection of I knew you before here. And if that's true, if we really came from a divine family, which I believe that we did, then that means that there's something about you that didn't start here and it won't end here. There's something inside of you, something planted long before you ever came to this earth. It's a kind of God seed, it's a divine potential. If you look at an acorn, everything that that acorn needs to become a tree is inside of it. It just has to be planted in the right place and given opportunity to grow. And we have that same thing inside of us. There's a God seed inside each and every one of us, a divine potential, not just to be good and not just not just to make it through this life, but to become, to grow, to expand, and to become more like God. The worth of a soul isn't just what it is right now, it isn't your social standing or your place in this earth. It's in its capacity to become like God. And each and every one of us has that capacity. Each and every one of us has the ability inside, everything is inside of us to become like He is. And if that's true, then your worth has never been defined by your performance. Not here and not there. It's not defined by your mistakes or by the things that we do that are wrong, or how long you feel you're in the race of life. Your worth has nothing to do with that. Your worth is rooted in what you were created to become. So maybe you've been looking at yourself through the wrong lens, seeing limits where God sees potential. Maybe you see flaws where he sees growth. Maybe you see broken when he sees something becoming. There is something in you that was never meant to stay small. We were meant to be so much more than we even understand here. You didn't start here, you didn't begin as unknown or unseen or insignificant. You came from a place where you were fully known, fully loved, and completely connected to those around you. And maybe the purpose of this life is not to prove your worth, but to remember it. To figure out who you were meant to be, to develop it, to develop talents that you were given and gifts that you were given. To become what you were always meant to become. This week, maybe think about some connections that you have with people here that you know or have felt like maybe you knew before. Maybe think about the divine potential that's inside of you, the things that you were meant to do, the places you were meant to go, the people's lives you were meant to touch, the things that you were meant to do here, and the God seed that is in every single one of us to become like our Heavenly Father. Think about that for a little bit. You have everything you need inside of you to become who you were meant to be, and that's amazing. It does take some work, and we have forgotten so much. But you belong here. You belong to this family of God. This is Hubble life. Have understanding, be believing, and live extraordinarily. Because when you start to see your life through a different lens, you don't just live differently, you remember differently. You guys, if this message resonated with you that you were something more than you are here or that you even see now, share it with someone who you think might be.
