SPEAKER_01

Welcome back to No Pun Intended, episode nine. It's summertime. Woohoo! So whenever we can get together, I'd like to dedicate our ninth episode to our favorite number nine, Mr. Joey B. Joey. I can't remember. Yeah, she did. And we've got lots of fun things to talk about. So yeah, let's get to it. Alright. So first on the list of things today is it's quiz time. You guys ready? But there's a twist. Quiz time is about popular things girls should know. So naturally, we're gonna ask James. Sweet. He knew nothing of the of this activity. So good luck, James. So you're just gonna answer the question with the first thing that comes to mind on what you know. If you need to talk through it, you you probably know more than you think. Alright. Name three popular handbag names.

SPEAKER_04

Gucci.

SPEAKER_01

Wow.

SPEAKER_04

Chanel. Yep. Um the Louie guy. Louis McConnell.

SPEAKER_01

Very good. Louis guy guy. The real Louie, unlike the ones. Yeah, yeah. That I like to carry. All right, what is the purpose of dry shampoo?

SPEAKER_04

Because it's tickling your hair, but keep it dry.

SPEAKER_05

Very good.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that was good. How does it come out, you know?

SPEAKER_01

Good job. Okay. What does G R W M stand for?

SPEAKER_04

G R Wet Real.

SPEAKER_02

Get ready with me. So I tick tock to the girls who get ready. Sydney does this all the time. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Drill drill. Water drill.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Alright. What is the purpose of a silk pillowcase?

SPEAKER_03

To be really silky smooth.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. Protects what? Probably your hair. And your skin. And your in my case, I put the silk pillowcase on the ones that go between my legs so that it helps my leg hair.

SPEAKER_04

Makes them silky. Yeah. Would it be better for smothering some significant other community?

SPEAKER_01

Possibly. Okay, before I ask this next question, I clearly failed the pre-the pretest because I did not get this one right after my friends quickly called me out. Okay. Number five, lip liner before or after lipstick. I'm gonna go with after.

SPEAKER_04

No. Before.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_04

That's what I meant to say.

SPEAKER_01

I said after, and clearly I've been doing it wrong.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not managing it. I don't even know that you did it.

unknown

I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Your lip liner always looks good.

SPEAKER_01

Girl, I wear lip liner once a year, but it looks good while we're at the last game. Bangle game and chapstick. And if we go to Carbo. Yeah, so maybe twice. Maybe twice a week. Alright. How often do you move up your hand tied extensions? Every six weeks. Very good.

SPEAKER_04

I know this one because that's when the bill comes in.

SPEAKER_01

You're right. Don't put me on the last time. Okay, what is a hot girl walk?

SPEAKER_03

What?

SPEAKER_01

What is a hot girl walk?

SPEAKER_04

Like on the stage when you're walking in the main stage?

SPEAKER_01

No, but I'm sure they have hot girl walks, but they're that's a different kind of walk. Have you ever seen that black guy that wears the big heels and he's in all the memes and his head's like cards of silence? I've not seen her. He's got the best hot girl walk. Um, a hot girl walk is where you just go walk for exercise and clear your mind and your aura and your you know, have good intentions. I hope yeah, we would have known that. I was thinking of runway. Like Connor McGregor. I think I meant runway.

SPEAKER_04

I was like, I didn't mean stage. I was the one with all strippers on it.

SPEAKER_01

Connor McGregor's hot girl. Connor McGregor has a hot roll. Yeah, I do that a lot at work. Alright. Um, explain girl math.

SPEAKER_04

Like when you go on vacation and you tell your husband a price, and then you come back two days later and you say, Hey, look, because you told him twice what it will cost, and then two days later you say, Hey, I got it half off, and then they book the vacation.

SPEAKER_01

Dang right. Dang right.

SPEAKER_04

Or possibly if I buy three of these, I get one for free. So it's like, I got it for free. That's right.

SPEAKER_01

Yep. Or like what okay, like let's go, you go to Target, you bought something, you come home, you realize it doesn't really work out, so you're gonna exchange it, or you're gonna return it.

SPEAKER_04

But you exchange it, so you got that um for free.

SPEAKER_01

I sometimes will buy gift cards to like restaurants, and then I'll say when we're eating out of the oh, I have this gift card that I got, but really I got it in my groceries. That's genius. Genius. That's girl now. That's top tier girl. I love it. Okay, what is the longest Taylor Swift song ever released? That's the 10-minute version of um that song.

SPEAKER_04

Start singing it.

SPEAKER_03

Put it on the spot. No, I can't think. I still can't think. 10-minute all too well. All too well.

SPEAKER_01

But that I'm probably never done the 10-minute. Yeah, that's okay.

SPEAKER_03

I just knew it was a 10-minute version.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, number 10. You are wearing a strapless dress to a wedding. Name three things a woman might do to keep it from sliding down. I have absolutely no idea. Keep those nips from nipping.

SPEAKER_04

That those fake nipple cover things. Yeah, yep, that's why. Okay, that's it. That's all I got. Strapless bra. Okay, makes sense. Fashion tape. Don't know what that is. Tape. You tape up pearls duct curls. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

A character queen in Lovett one time showed me how to use duct tape. Ouch. Ouch. That's my thoughts that ever looked at. Ouch. Jack, you did pretty good, buddy. Proud of you. You are part of the squad. Well done. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but you're here. Air five's all around. Left your hand on air five. It's really hard to do. Alright, so we are gonna move into some football talk about some free agents that are still out there and some things that people are doing before the season starts. So, James?

SPEAKER_04

Well, two big things that have come up in the last couple of weeks uh have been some trades. Obviously, one is the Miles Garrett trade. Uh the Browns traded Miles Garrett to the Rams. Uh, in that trade, the Browns received. I think both teams did exactly what they needed to do here.

SPEAKER_01

I think they did a great job for us because Miles Garrett is not gonna be coming for baby jump. That's right. Sweet baby, hang on. No.

SPEAKER_04

Uh the Browns received uh Jared Burse, who's no slouch, and he's young, so he's you know, he's 25 uh coming into this season. I think he's about to turn 26. Um, whereas Garrett, Miles Garrett's about to turn 30. I mean, he's entering his 10th season. So they got a guy that's not that's a probably a tier below, but also has a lot of uh odd miles left. Uh plus a 27 first round pick, a 28 second round pick, and a 29 third round pick. So they got a lot of draft stock out of this.

SPEAKER_01

Dang, Browns are about to be good. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

In a year where the Browns, they're probably gonna win four or five games. Shigure Sanders is gonna be their strong quarterback most likely, which is awful. Shugur, shut the door. Shut the dirt. I can't ever say his name right.

SPEAKER_01

Just shut the dirt.

SPEAKER_04

Probably really good on their part. At the same time, for the Rams, it's a win-now situation, and so picking up uh an obvious, you know, perennial brawl bowler that's gonna leave, you know, or be at the top of the league in sacks uh makes them better immediately. So good for both teams. Um and then the other one was AJ Broy Brown to the Pats, which again I think good for both teams. I think Philadelphia was looking to uh sign the divorce papers, yeah, you know, so to speak, and kind of just be ready to move on. They obviously made that statement uh both in free agency and the draft. They signed Hollywood Brown from the Chiefs, they signed Elijah Moore from the Bills, uh, and then they drafted, they actually traded up in the draft uh to take Mikhail Lemon, who was a lot of people's number one wide receiver in the draft coming in.

SPEAKER_01

What is Hollywood's government name? Hollywood.

SPEAKER_04

No, it's not. I can't remember. That'd be pretty sweet. It's not. I can't remember. I'd have to look it up. Because nobody calls him that. Yeah, because he's been Hollywood Brown since he played for the Zero U.

SPEAKER_01

Is Mama Gold Catch a play? I'm a sorry.

SPEAKER_04

In this AJ Brown trade, uh the Pats receive AJ Brown. Uh the Eagles receive a 27 fifth round pick and a 28 first round pick. So again, a little bit of draft stock. Um and again, I think for both teams it's probably a good deal in terms of getting some immediate needs or building for the future. The Eagles are still going to be a playoff contender even without AJ Brown. Uh, again, they made some moves in free agency in the draft uh to take care of that spot. And for the Pats, it's an upgrade on their offense, which was good. Um, but in order for them to push for an AFC title, they needed to upgrade and give Drake Mason more weapons, and so they went and did that. So another big talk that uh recently in the last couple days, just real quick, I'll throw this in, is the restructure of Joe's contract.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, so we have to do that.

SPEAKER_04

Um well, he didn't give up any money. Um just moved around to bonuses and things like that. Um but this is this is huge because the Bengals don't do this. Right, like they've done that there they've there's two huge moves that we've done in this offseason that we don't do that prove that that's finally I mean we're still behind in the times, but finally we're doing some things that everyone else does to try to win championships. Yeah, one was we made the big trade for Dexter Lawrence, obviously. I mean, that was a shock. I don't think anybody saw that coming.

SPEAKER_05

No.

SPEAKER_04

Um huge though, and filled a huge gap defensively, and then now this, which just gives them some freedom. Now, what are they gonna do with it? I don't know. It's about $10 million under the cap for this year, which gets their cap space to around $17 million. Um, you always want to have a little bit of play because there's always gonna be some things, bonuses have to be accounted for that, like if there's player incentive bonuses, which I don't know if they have anybody in a contract that does, but I'm sure they do, um, just because that's pretty typical. And then, but also rookie contracts and all those kind of things. But then uh they have signed cashless out some guaranteed money, which is things they don't do.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um, which I think, you know, the more I see on him, the more film I watch on him, I think this guy's about to be a dude. Yeah, and then it it gives them some flexibility in terms of do they go out there to try to pick up, you know, a Bobby Wagner or make a trade for uh another linebacker in the league that they could just bolster the defense. So props to the front office for listening to the podcast for making some moves that at least put us in a situation where we can do something good in the next couple of months.

SPEAKER_01

I think they're listening to finally, yes, agreed the the big guys. Yep, yeah. Like, hey, this is what needs to happen. Turns out they know some stuff.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, Bingle Station, it's been hers. Copycat everyone else in the league. That's what everybody in this profession does. Right. Copycat. And so I mean, you do what the people do did to win.

SPEAKER_01

I ain't mad at them. Make it work.

SPEAKER_04

But that's what I got. That's that's good. A little bit of news in the NFL middle of June.

SPEAKER_01

So we're getting close. How many days? 90. 90, yeah. 90 is about 90. 90-ish. Let's go. It's coming. I saw, I think I sent this to y'all. Did I send last night the thing that said however many days until I can yell this from my living room? And it was who day? Um Joe Burr. Yeah, Joe Burr, mamma. Oh, yeah. Joe Burr. Yep. Um let go. Um paid off the reps. Who paid off the refs? Um, who let Zach Taylor call the offense? Fire Zach Taylor. First game. Georgie Jamal. Come on.

SPEAKER_04

Come on, Money Mac.

SPEAKER_01

Come on, money. Yeah. And then the last one was there's always next year. You're not saying that next year. We're not saying that this year. No, no. Super Bowl. We're on our way. Here we are. All right, Mama. We got to talk about UT softball in the national championship.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So a couple weeks ago we had the Women's College World Series Championship. And it was uh Texas versus Texas Tech. So that was exciting. A rematch from last year. Um, Texas ended up winning it in two games. So pretty quick. They won game one, five to one, game two, four to one. Um, I thought Tex they fumbled a lot. Let's go with that. They uh their defense they they committed a lot of errors, I thought it was a soccer defense.

SPEAKER_01

But I mean, hey, two Texas teens in the national championship, I'll take that any day. Absolutely. Yes. And it wasn't AM or OU.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. OU didn't even make it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So it was not. So that was nice.

SPEAKER_02

Um, Tegan Cavan was named Most Outstanding Player. Um, again, she won it as what last year as well, and she is the first per first person to win it back to back ever.

SPEAKER_01

So she would throw pitches that would just make people look silly.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, her her changeup is.

SPEAKER_01

Her changeup is absolutely loves the outside corner of the plate and she buckles hit it so good. I don't think I would go up to the batteries box. I would just be like, thank you, ma'am.

SPEAKER_03

I'll probably sway.

SPEAKER_01

No, thank you, I'm gonna go not thank you.

SPEAKER_02

But she threw like the ones that she most of hers are on the outside of the plate, and you don't think it's gonna be a shruk. Or you swing and you have no chance of getting it. Yeah, like even the best hitters on from Tex Team, they had no chance because she hugs that outside plate. Outside corner of the plate. Watch women's sports, watch women's sports every day. Exciting. The men's men's is going on right now. I don't care as much. So Texas won today. I'm not gonna watch it. I don't know, but Texas did win.

SPEAKER_04

Texas beat the breaks off of Alabama today.

SPEAKER_01

We've watched the entire softball tournament, like the entire thing. I thought it was funny. I just I love this whole like watch women's sports. I think Texas might be making some serious athletic moves right now, putting themselves out there on the map. Thank you to those people in the oil field that are contributing back to your L Mark.

SPEAKER_00

It's one guy.

SPEAKER_01

You play enough. Well, hey, but y'all have the connection of the girl that's gonna pitch it today on my show. Um a girl that coached at our school that um with her mom. Yeah. Um James actually went to school with her back in the day. But um, she's actually assigned to go play there, like true pitcher. You know, if you're getting drafted as a drafted, if you're getting signed as a pitcher to test for softball, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

She's playing for right now, along with the Pickens girl that throws 79 miles an hour. Yeah, is that her name Pickens? I think that's equivalent to like 106 mile an hour basketball. Yeah, 113. It's something crazy to baseball. Um, she plays for Tennessee, um, and they're both playing in the pros right now. But I would be scared to death to get up against the Pickens girl and see a 79 mile an hour softball coming at me.

SPEAKER_01

I will tell you that I at one time was athletic in my life, and my first year teaching coaching, I was just turned 22, like fresh off of collines and the local court. And um our picture at the time, which they were badasses, and she's still she's an all-American SFA. I was like, I'll warm you up. Oh my god. If she hadn't thrown a strike, I would not be sitting here today. I would never have had children in my life over another. But I'm telling you that, ball, she threw 71, and the day that they clocked her 71 back in 2010. Yeah. Was unheard of. Yeah, that's crazy.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, because that's about the average now for these pictures that we saw other than the pickings that just because it was so unheard of, like to be 71 men and average.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, oh my god, when I played, it was like 55. What's the big deal? That's funny. So, watch women's sports, softball's more fun than baseball. Casey, now's your time to shine. Oh my gosh, I feel like I should get a drum roll. I've been waiting for this. I told you, I told you, I told you we were getting Coach O back, and Coach O has officially signed with LSU to be the special assistant to recruiting in the defensive line. Um, he signed an eight-month $100,000 um contract. It's not a lot. He doesn't care. He's at home. He's just there won't change. He just loves it. Add it to him. He's a hometown guy. Gotta love it. He's already hit the ground running. Um, he's brought in some pretty big or been a part of bringing in some pretty big transfer portal people, of course, number one being Sam Levant from Arizona. Um, I hope to have high expectations of Sam. We shall see. Blaine opted to not have the spring game this year, which I was totally for. I think it's just the time to get hurt. Um, so I'm really excited about that. Coach O has already been pulling in a lot of um Louisiana guys, like you know, Dallas Thibodeau, of course, he's famous for getting kids from New Orleans, like that area. And he's got some pretty big prospects. People are already starting to change over. They love his energy, they love him. He builds the culture. Yeah, culture is what wins championships, absolutely. And it's coming back. He's got Ensminger on Speed Dow. Been calling some plays.

SPEAKER_02

There's also a lot of uh the ring back, they brought back a lot of coaches for a lot of coaches, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So um Chris Kibben, I don't know if he's Kendallane or not, I should have done more research, but he's there. Um Louis Spanos was there in 2019 when we won the national championship and had the greatest football college football team of all time. Um and yes, thank you. And um Frank Wilson, who was the interim head coach when we went to the Texas Bowl, didn't really get to end with a um winner there, but I mean he's back, he knows LSU, he knows the football. Again, he's part of the culture. He was very eager to accept not being named as the head coach. He just wondered what was best for the program, and I think Lane's done a good job of like seeing that and knowing who to bring in to help the momentum.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I like it. He knows what's exciting. Are you super excited?

SPEAKER_01

I I really can't like wrap my brain around it all the way. Like, I don't think I'm gonna believe it till I see my massagons, and then I I will probably pass out. And then like when I just am so happy. I don't know, like I I kept thinking it was fake, and I was just like, Oh, or did I dream that you know when Mel is going to bring me last night? And then I everyone saw it, everybody was texting me, and I'm like, What did you say here? Like, I started laughing with my friend a little bit. You said you had to get uh some shirts out of storage that you got some shirts out of storage, so I have one that says Coach O O E A U X. Yeah, I have that one. Um I will be wearing that box t-shirt. I'm really excited about the multiple box t shirt. It is very boxy, but I do love some coach. I actually bought it in Bagner Jetta game, so that was fun. But um, yeah, my my heart grew three inches when the green inches came back. Yeah, so I it gave me some. Life back, Bingles are winning the Super Bowl, we're ready to go. We're doing it. It's gonna be a good one. It's gonna be a long summer. I'm not a summer gal, and this makes it that much harder for me to get to fall because I'm the one that's already in Hobby Lobby sitting by the pumpkins, and we haven't even 4th of July yet. I'm ready for it. The fall. So Texas LSU, what do we think? We're going we're going to LSU. You know that it's gonna happen. I was gonna say this though, just piggyback on your.

SPEAKER_04

Piggyback on your uh no spring games. So I knew Texas didn't have a spring game either.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_05

Oh I'm just kidding.

SPEAKER_04

So I looked it up just to kind of because I was I I kind of thought that it'd become a trend. And so there's some notable teams that either canceled uh or skipped their spring game this year. So Texas, USC, Florida State, Rutgers, Missouri, LSU, NC State, South Carolina, and Wisconsin all opted out of spring games this year. And I think I think that's kind of becoming a trend just because they don't want to lose that NIL money if they get hurt.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and that older weeks older weeks brother got hurt last year in the spring game.

SPEAKER_04

Well, and like so injuries is always a concern.

SPEAKER_01

Um Joe went down his first. I want to do like factory, but Joe went down his first spring game.

SPEAKER_04

And you kinda you kinda have to at that point when you get to the spring game, you pretty much know what you know.

SPEAKER_05

Right. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, it's really more a publicity thing at that point for a lot of schools. Yeah, for the alumni to kind of alumni, it's like you know, all those kind of things. So it winds up being your your your ones get very few reps, and you're really trying to f you know fill roster spots and make sure you know depth charts are where they want to be, but at the same time, that stuff kind of gets reconfigured in the fall anyway when you have fall count.

SPEAKER_01

And so that is brings me to a question about the NFL in the preseason games, and for years and years that got a lot of hate because he never played any of the starters. I get we're on his side of it, but also I felt like for those three the three years we came in so cold. So where where's there a balance? I wish you a preseason game is way different than a spring game. Yeah, because like you're in season, you're ready to go. Like you're you at least got a level. You've got to at least take a couple. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I think your ones have to get some reps, and I think it has to be significant enough reps that you feel like you've got something out of it. It can't be one series or whatever, but at the same time, you know, yeah. I mean, you know, uh from a high school coach perspective, I mean, we go into that first scrimmage and knowing, especially if we've got depth, that we're not gonna play the ones a ton. Yeah, and then you know, just because why?

SPEAKER_01

Why have some reps? We're gonna get some reps, but like, yes, we love him, we love Joe Blackout, all the jokes.

SPEAKER_04

But anyway, that's you know, again, I don't there's not a perfect, you know, you can always because it's never fails until you know the rep that was the one too many rep is the rep that guy got hurt on.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and that's you know, so I mean he should have been played. He should have been in there. It'll be enough. Yeah, you know, so I mean yeah, LSU. Um the podcast that obviously was locked on LSU, um, and very good rep on it. They loved Cinco Cho as well. They were not a friend of Brian Snelly, and neither was I. So I didn't understand that hire for the show. It was a stupid thing. I think that was the time of just bad hires in general, like around high school, college, NFL, like let's just hire some shit cans and see how it you know.

SPEAKER_02

I think so.

SPEAKER_01

And like I agree with that. I'm like, oh, you put this dude out here that's fake.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, doesn't know what Kelly's doing.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, he's probably drunk on the sidebound. And like we're just like, whoop-dee-doo, let's go. You know, I'm not buying a Brian Kelly shirt. Absolutely not. That's the only culture I want. Right. We will not win with that.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, I hope I don't eat my words on this, but I kind of feel like that's the Mike McCarthy hired Pittsburgh, too. Like, what?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's that was an interesting.

SPEAKER_04

Like, I hope I don't eat my words. Uh I don't think he's a terrible coach, but at the same time he's not, he was good when he was with the Packers.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the Packers he was really good.

SPEAKER_04

I so when he hated him. You know, when the Cowboys hired him, I thought you know, this is gonna be good for the Cowboys, but it was not.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, none of them were good for the Cowboys because of Jerry.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, that's true. But I don't I don't know. To me, that was a weird hire too. Like that felt that felt as an awkward of a hire for a program as Ryan Kelly did for LSG.

SPEAKER_01

And when he started trying to speak like Cajun, that was the biggest cringe I saw. He would like drop in his accent, try to do it. It was the worst most embarrassing, and they would put him up there with the spinny things with the recruits, and the recruits would be like dancing, you know, like cruelly actually. But he would get up there and it was like watching my dad. You got second-hand embarrassment real bad. I I just knew like it was like someone it was like when Joe got hurt. That's what it felt like all over again. You're like, oh, I can't handle the heart, I've been hurt too many times. Yeah, I get you. Well, we're we're rooting for LSU this year. All games. All games. Not all games. All games. We'll see. There's one game I we'll see. We'll see how I feel when the time comes. Especially if I see Coach Show. I agree. You just love me. I will say one time we're gonna have to have Sarah put it on the podcast when he said hey case coach all one time. Yeah, she does have a video. It's gonna be my return during football season. We might open up the next pod with it. I think we should save it for the first game. Oh, okay. Good idea. Good idea. So be looking forward to that. No, you guys can't wait. I know. Coach show. We'll call you. You can get on if you want. You'd answer us. He would, absolutely.

SPEAKER_04

He probably would. He'd probably come in here sooner and drink a bird with his.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he would. Eat crawfish.

SPEAKER_05

Let's do it.

SPEAKER_01

Let's do it. He never moved out of that merch. Like he had always kept his house. So like that was also another big thing. It was like literally a phone call while he came up that afternoon. Like, still runs around campus the shirt off, guys. I do see that. Yeah. I mean, like, yeah. He's a hometown boy. Telling you. Oh, it's gonna be good. Alright, we ready to move into a little bit of Bengals locker room talk and some things been going on. Yeah. So Jamar, uh, I watched a video of his interview, like James talked about earlier. He said himself that he was shocked about the Dexter Lawrence trade. Like in the interview, was just like, I I couldn't believe it. I couldn't watch it. Everyone was shocked.

SPEAKER_04

The whole NFL was shocked. That's why there was so much talk about it.

SPEAKER_01

Because he was so genuinely excited. Yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And it's gonna be post on Twitter when like that went down. You could tell that they were shocked, static, like everything.

SPEAKER_01

It was good. He was of the OTAs and says if you're on the team and you're here now, then that you gotta be bought in, which is a big thing for Jamar to say. Like normally these are guys that don't come to OTAs, yeah. And Jamar is not, he's a the greatest player, but he hasn't always been the greatest leader. I guess we can we can say it that way. But I feel like he's kind of changing over how his approach is with those younger guys in the locker room, and like you know, you're you're here, you're bought in, and that's not something he would have said before. He knows he's bought in and he does what he's supposed to do. I think he's one that definitely plays with his emotions out there, though. You know, like you know when he's frustrated, you know when he's yeah, mad, you know when he's happy. Yeah, and you can tell he's happier with the front office, too, which is a big thing to come from your front runner players. Same thing with T. He's just a happy man.

SPEAKER_04

He well, I think that the big part of that is those dudes are now in their fourth year and fifth year and sixth year. That's true. Those guys that are the stars on offense, and they're starting to become the veterans in the locker room. Yeah, and then you added some key components. I know Dexter Lawrence is a veteran in the locker room. Yeah, and so I mean, uh Dexter Lawrence is a veteran in the locker room, Brian Cook is a veteran in the locker room, you know, defensive on the defensive side, guys that they brought in, and so I feel like that's starting to bleed over into the culture, yeah, um, and it's gonna be a big part of whether or not you know we have the success we want to have this year.

SPEAKER_01

I'm still disappointed that you know we didn't we're not capitalizing on the best defensive player we have on the team, being Jamar and his tackles last year. Um I think he could do both ways on the floor. Playing in the NFL on both sides of the ball. He's gonna be fault if he chooses. Um they also interviewed T, and you know, T's always just smiley and happy. He's just a blessed and highly favored guy. He is blessed and highly favored, and we just love him. But he said he's excited about the new additions, um, that clearly the Bengals in the front office are sending a message, which I thought was a big statement to say buy the tickets or whatever, send those things on money or whatever. Refund, refund those refunds. Um, you don't want to piss us off. No, and Joe wasn't interviewed, but he was at OTA's, which again, big deal. Big deal to be there the whole time to do what he's doing, just watching them out there practicing and sorry excited in his freaking aloe. He's done more for that company than anyone along. Absolutely. Did you see him doing uh Pilates on the reformer machine? Yeah, I thought it was impressive because you can't do that. I can't do that.

SPEAKER_02

I don't think I could either, but guys really can't, right? And he's just worried because the core strength and all of that, like wow, it was impressive.

SPEAKER_01

By the way, they were talking, I thought this was kind of crazy interesting. They were talking about um this guy that used to coach McKinney was saying that um, but he was saying that one of the best like PDs he ever had was like the coaching staff would have PDs come in and talk to them, like different, you know, like high coaches, you know, blah blah. And I guess that's what schools with money do. But um, one of them was a sports psychologist, and he took the Myersburg inventory, it was a woman, took the Myersburg inventory, which is like a personality type work ethic test, and combined it with this sports psychology type test that basically like Myersburg gives you letters, this gives you numbers, and so when you put them together, the highest rated ones were of course NFL quarterbacks, yeah, and so it almost puts them on like this GT kind of like a Titson scale, if you will. But it's because, and I was like, Oh, Joe Burrow. And he was like, before Joe Burrow was even out of hospital. I'm like, well, he would be up there if he could with his fossils. But I'm saying like they're so smart, and even watching that show on Netflix, you just see how truly intelligent those people are, yeah, and the things they have to like so smart to know and remember and those audibles and all of the things. It's just I don't know, Joe, you're a smart man, yeah, for president, and pretty, so pretty, so pretty, so pretty. It really should be a shame. Like that's why we can't sing, we would have too much power, you know? Like absolutely, but you didn't want to give us that. No, more math skills. Yeah, I can't run the world. I can't sing, I definitely can't strip. There's nothing left for me, but you can do a hot girl walk on the road. All right, so what are we most excited about for this season? Joey, get these pants pulled down again.

SPEAKER_03

I'm ready to see the sexy Dexy dance.

SPEAKER_01

Me too.

SPEAKER_02

I'm honestly like on New Year's Eve. We're going with that.

SPEAKER_01

I am also very excited about the New Year's Eve game. I think it's gonna, it's it's retribution for us because the last time we saw, which they're gonna play it before then, but we were there how that turned out last time. Yeah, and let's talk about those horrible conditions at that game we were at. Yeah, it was nine degrees. Yeah. Girl math. Yeah, it was cold. But the wind chill, I think, was like negative six. Yes, yes, it was very cold. I have a scar of a bolster on my foot. I thought you got a little bit of a little bit of a little scar on your liver. Yeah, I stretched down the streets, the kind streets of Cincinnati where no one bothered me. It was yeah, but they, you know, the the snow on the seats, we had to listen to that ravens podcaster. Casey almost got in a fight with him, had to move seats with her. It was a whole thing. But he was sitting on the sidelines of the Ravens, which fantastic seats, but oh my god, am I gonna punch him in the face? I mean, I physically had to say switch with me. He was just so annoying. It was like having what's his name, McLovin? It was like McLovin doing a podcast.

SPEAKER_04

That's a very good analogy. He's like sounded like McLovin.

SPEAKER_01

He's a he's a YouTuber, but he's like people knew him. They were like dabbing him up and like saying about his name, and I was like, it was annoying. We ended up talking to him for a little bit, but he he was nice to us, but he wasn't. I saw this really cool um thing the other night. It was I I can't remember which team it was. They're interviewing the coaching staff, and they were like, if you had to say who's the guy that you hated most on an NFL roster, like who'd be? And they were going like way back, you know, Troy now, like they I would see him right now too, because the way he announces games, but um like attorney robot. No doubt. But yeah, she liked it. Oh no, but it was like who's your most hated? And I had a really hard time, I was going to say. I was very torn, if you will. So who's yours, James?

SPEAKER_04

Most hated ever?

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_04

Ever or right now, or right now.

SPEAKER_01

I mean like can't stand a watch. Oh that's a good question. That is a good question.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, it's probably fatty.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Just because I can't stand the wine is the rest all the time.

SPEAKER_01

I can't stand the wines. No, it's the wine. Carvant McFrog. McFrog? Carvett McFrog is his new name. There's like a Ron. Like it's just not.

SPEAKER_04

Like all the like he's good. I'm not saying he's not good. He's a great, he's in the don't be a bitch. But like all the extra.

SPEAKER_01

As soon as he's off the field, he's not as bitchy as he's a bitch when I'm playing. We're not playing it. I okay, so you're going with Patrick Mahomes, James.

SPEAKER_04

I'm going with, but I'm not.

SPEAKER_01

That's soon you can do it. He's my front runner. I don't know whether I could have answered it though or not, but he was my front runner. Oh, yours isn't Lamar Jackson? Here's the reason why. Um sometimes he can be really funny. Yeah. With his pimple patches. The pimple patches kind of made me love him a little bit. Yeah. But it's very hard for me. That's why I couldn't like definitively say him.

SPEAKER_02

It's probably all Patrick Mahomes, just because of his how he acts.

SPEAKER_01

How he acts.

SPEAKER_02

He's just a bitch. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh yeah. That if you would have asked me this prior to T Slip, I might have said Charles Kelsey as well. Can't stand him on explaining. But he's better. Like he's not a little bit more than a lot of things. Well, wouldn't you two if you're true mama was to Bill?

SPEAKER_04

Billionaire. To Bill.

SPEAKER_01

Bavillionaire. Um, no, that's Elon Musk. We'll get to that yet. Um, so I uh I used to think it was Comboy that was at the Steelers, now he's at the Cowboys. Gosh, what's the Pickens? I used to say Oh, he acted like one too. But I he's better at the Cowboys. Yep. Right now. Right now Margaret. Yeah. Um I don't know if it was because he was just at the Cowboys and like there really wasn't much to bitch about.

SPEAKER_02

When things don't start going his way and he doesn't control to him as much as he thinks, he'll probably start acting that way.

SPEAKER_01

And you know who else I can't stand? Tyree Keeler.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah. I can't. He doesn't even really play that much.

SPEAKER_01

But you know who came to my mind when I was thinking about this? The goat. The goat sacrificer, Pancheco. Yeah, or can stand that one guy. And I even saw this, like, you know, terrible, he's a just awful laugh. I bless his heart. So proud of you for who you are now. But ew. I I'm gonna go with Patrick Mahomes, too. But all time, because I can't stand to listen to him commentate games anymore. Chris Collinsworth. Ever. Even though he was a bingle. I know, but I am so sick or Tony when it comes to him. Anytime Chris Collinsworth. You know what, Chris Collinsworth, I hope you're listening. I am so sick of you. Patrick Mahomes is not, everything you talk about does not have to go back to Patrick Collins. Yeah commentary because of the year they have last year. Like, are we still gonna go back to him? Who is it?

SPEAKER_03

It's old uh old Drake.

SPEAKER_01

Drake. Oh yeah. Drake Malpoy. So he's a front. And Bo Nicks. He's a front.

SPEAKER_03

He's a he's like Bow Nix.

unknown

Oh god.

SPEAKER_03

I like Books.

SPEAKER_01

I don't want to. I don't want to either, but I believe. Oh god, it's just personal for us to me. I mean his old friend. Um speaking of all the time that we've spent our negative energy on the Chiefs. I am looking forward to that game on December 13th. Absolutely. It's gonna be a good one. It's at are we gonna go to that one? Maybe. I mean how many games do you want to go to?

SPEAKER_02

Well, I just need one. We're gonna talk about it.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, we're playing the Houston Texans, and we're gonna be one more road tour. Yeah, James. We'll drive back. We can figure it out. We're gonna talk about it. We're gonna come up with a plan. We're gonna go for it.

SPEAKER_04

We'll let everyone know.

SPEAKER_01

GoFundMe. Hashtag no punt intended, please. We'll talk about it. Synodistic games. I'll podcast for the game like McLovin. McLovin, you should sponsor us since I mean punching the face. All right, if he's at the Ravens game, maybe we can hook up and we can punch him on the face. Alright, well that's all I got. That's all I got for the Bengals. That was a good little addition. I like the I like the most annoying player. Good job, man. I like that. Um all right. Let's move on to something a little lighter. Yes. But not for Taylor Swift's pocketbook. She has now been um named the highest or the richest earning female artist in history. I thought the best justice of all was her seats versus Scuder Braun seats. Yes. It was just well played God. You know, like I thought Scooter Braun probably got taken his name. Which one would great shouldn't look like? Look at these great seats. Oh man. I mean, at the end of the day, he's gone home to sunny, funny, funny what we all saw in the housemaid. Fantastic. But I'm saying win-win situation there, Peter. But uh she's now at Dust say two billion dollars. Yeah, so that's a way to go trav. Um, so I'm not gonna go though. I'm gonna say all of us have our red flags. Fair. Um they went to the Cleveland Cavaliers game together. Yeah. They were cute, but those seats, what? The Cavaliers game.

SPEAKER_02

They did before together. They went together. She went to the Nix game with the game.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Oh the Cavaliers game, they those seats, quartzide, squatties, they look so uncomfortable. Yeah, they have to very tiny.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they're very low to the ground, and those are two very tall people.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I love that her lawnmower friend was with her. Oh, Olivia. Olivia Benson, her name here forever. That's not her real name, that's her lawnmower name. But I love it. I loved it so much. Yeah. Um she even hugged Jenner, probably Jenner. I know. I saw that. It looks very genuine. Yeah, I love it. You can tell that Taylor has been coached on how to react in sports events for a non-sports girl. She's turned into one very quickly. I felt like she would, if she was at a game with us, that she would have Malvin and she would have fit right in. Absolutely. Taylor, you can join us at the Bengals game. You're welcome. Maybe she'll want to sit with us. Yeah, say the name I want to say. Let's go like the phone. Like we're gonna say we can figure it out. We can make it work. That would be the one that arguments. Um we'll be in orange and black, but yeah. All right. Um East Texas, I don't think. Um, so we've got some Love Island to talk about. Love Island season eight. So yeah. We watched no. Oh, I can't commit. You gotta No, this is an every night thing. Every night, except for Wednesdays, and so there's just no way.

SPEAKER_04

They're jumping in pools of slime and womping it off each other.

SPEAKER_01

What would happen if I watched that and Luke was standing there? He would go pour so ball or no kids allowed when you're watching LeBron. So see, that's just my house is too small. You gotta wait till they go to bed, but then you're asleep. So I want to sleep.

SPEAKER_04

We've got to backtrack on this a little bit too and explain why we're even watching LeBron.

SPEAKER_02

Because it's because of our kids would never because we would never watch it. We first started because it's stupid.

SPEAKER_04

It's absolutely stupid.

SPEAKER_01

It is, it is, it's a guilty, it's a guilty pleasure for sure. So last year, before we were getting ready to go to the beach, uh the girls came over and spent the night the night before because we get up and leave really early. And they were like, Love island, love island, uh and I'd walk through, I was getting stuff ready to leave, and I'd just watch it. On the screen, I'm like, this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my life.

SPEAKER_04

See, I'm not gonna lie, I was a huge Big Brother fan. Yeah, like I love Big Brother, and I watched the whole I watched the after dark or after hours or whatever it was called. I don't know. After sunset, whatever, I don't know. But like, so this show is similar.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it is to an extent. While we were there for a week at the beach, it was on every night, and so the kids would all call on the couch and we'd be like, Oh my god, I was so done. And then like by about night three, night two, probably.

SPEAKER_04

We were like night two, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I was running in with my blankets and jumping over the couch, like, oh, that's a popcorn. Like, oh we got super into it. We finished it after we got back without the kids because we were there, and now like I'm voting. We're registered voters, we're registered voters.

SPEAKER_03

Yep, we're it's stupid, it's so dumb.

SPEAKER_02

One of my kids told me that the the last one will be like while we after we get there, like the day after we get to vacation this year or so we get one night together. Okay, that'll be cool.

SPEAKER_01

Um, there's some questionable racy, it is very racy. Do not watch it with anyone under 25 is not allowed to watch the show. Okay, well, I mean let's do 18 because they're not even 25. No, I'm not gonna have to do that.

SPEAKER_04

Lots of ass cheeks hang around on the show. Lots of ass cheeks.

SPEAKER_01

Lots of and the kissing with the mics on grosses me so disgusting.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, we watch it. Yeah, we watch it.

SPEAKER_01

And we go. And we're we've got I'm rooting, I'm rooting for people. Not gonna tell you who. Okay, so watch Love Island or don't. It's pretty good. And it's not real. We all know that.

SPEAKER_04

It's just for yeah, they're all just trying to get like YouTube endorsements on whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. The his brother's on the show this year. Stop it. Yeah, what's his name?

SPEAKER_02

Will last year it was um Charlie? Yes, Charlie. No, it's uh and Zach this year. Zach. Zach is his brother. Charlie is his brother. It's uh interesting. He's interesting too. Yeah. Um, so something else I've been watching. I'm not sure if any of y'all have watched it. Have you watched Dutton Ranch? No, no, but you told me I did too.

SPEAKER_01

You haven't watched it yet? Brian is actually watching it and it's good. It surprised me a little bit.

SPEAKER_02

Dutton Ranch is good. I did not care for Marshalls. I didn't even finish the last probably four episodes. It's cheesy to me, it's bad production. Like, I don't like it's not good. Dutton Ranch is good.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So, um, and then Cindy and I watched the crash last night on Netflix.

SPEAKER_01

So good. Okay. So crazy. I mean, good in a crazy.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, but yeah.

SPEAKER_02

The girl that hit Mackenzie Sherillo that drove her and his friend, uh-huh, and just drove it right into the building going about 93 miles an hour. I'm gonna we need to watch it.

SPEAKER_01

We'll watch Love Island and then we'll watch it. And then you need to watch maternal and watch tonight. It happened like not far from us. Y'all are gonna know all the new Boston. Oh, yeah. That's the challenge. Oh, that's what happened in, yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it looks crazy too. So the crash was good. Y'all watch that, so we can kind of talk about that as well.

SPEAKER_01

I just finished an older Freedom McFadden book that was written in like 2014. Um, it's called Dead Med, and it's really good. So y'all check it out. Yeah, it's a cover though. So fancy growing. Are you? I still haven't read anything. A new one.

SPEAKER_04

By the way, they all talk about Freedom McFadden and who got y'all.

SPEAKER_01

I know you did.

SPEAKER_02

We gotta give James some props on that.

SPEAKER_04

So, yeah. She's good. If you like uh if you like she's good. She's psychological like psychological thrillers that always have a twist, and you don't know.

SPEAKER_01

And they're easy reads, like like I mean I like it because the because I can't my AHD won't allow me to, but I like to read those because the chapters are short. They're short, so like I agree. Oh, good. I can go do something.

SPEAKER_02

No, I have not.

SPEAKER_01

Oh please watch it. And the next segment will be We Love Hockey. Alright. Awesome. Is it like uh is it like Tell Me Laz? Is it Tell Me Lazish? It's Tell Me Lazish meets iceberg. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

There we did. We watched like half an episode of that. The hockey player.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. We did, we did, and then it was all Valentine, so we stopped.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. Well, we got any other interesting facts from the week? Anything coming up that we're looking forward to? Nothing?

SPEAKER_04

It's summertime.

SPEAKER_01

Summertime. Which means fall is next. And then football, baby. Alright, we're in the double digits countdown. Can't wait. Maybe we'll set up in the living room. Oh, I think we should. Of the game one time and let people experience it. Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_04

I don't think people can handle that.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_01

It'll be like they got to mute. That would be what makes us go viral because it'll be like these idiots.

SPEAKER_04

Look at these fools. I could if I could post videos along with this on my.

SPEAKER_01

What was that one wanna do it? She throw holding water out on the sale. Yes. I said I will kiss her on the mouth if we make it resootable to me.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, these three fools right here.

SPEAKER_01

Lunges. I got you. Doing lunges in the living room and like sometimes we'll go take our shoes off and go ground. We do that a lot. There's a lot of cussing. I'll walk a bumper, I'll pat the back of my Jeep. She will open a cold can of Skyline cinnamon chili and we'll take a bite of it. And then they'll do something good, and we think we have to take another bite. Yeah, and that's like eating dog food with cinnamon.

SPEAKER_04

With cinnamon.

SPEAKER_01

Shout out Skyline.

SPEAKER_04

Shout out Skyline Chili. Although it's not really.

SPEAKER_01

I'll put it on hot dog. But I ain't hot dog.

SPEAKER_04

No. That's a that's the one weird cincy thing that I don't get.

SPEAKER_01

Hot dogs? Skyline chili and spaghetti. How can you spaghetti not like hot dogs and Sarah? I love a hot dog.

SPEAKER_03

I know that.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Alright, well. All right. Next episode. So next episode nine. We'll see y'all in a few weeks or whenever we can get together and not have to re-record. Um, keep on being a girl's girl, be kind to each other. We'll be back next week or whenever with, you know, more clear emotional damage, more things to report, more good times. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Until then, we will continue to punt most of the time.

SPEAKER_04

Peace out.

SPEAKER_01

Bye.
