Cx1DJs We Do Things Different Podcast "Untold Stories of MC Hammer" hosted by DJButterrock
Stanley Kirk Burrell (born March 30, 1962), better known by his stage name MC Hammer (or simply Hammer), is an American rapper and dancer. He is known for hit songs such as "U Can't Touch This", "Pray", "2 Legit 2 Quit" and "Pumps and a Bump", as well as flashy dance movements, extravagant choreography and his namesake Hammer pants.[2] Remembered for a rapid rise to fame, Hammer has also become an entrepreneur[3][4] and celebrity spokesperson.[5][6] A multi-award winner, he is considered a "forefather" and pioneering innovator[7] of pop rap (incorporating elements of freestyle music).
Born and raised in Oakland, California, Hammer served three years in the United States Navy before independently releasing his debut album Feel My Power in 1986. After signing a contract with Capitol Records, Hammer released his second album Let's Get It Started in 1988, which became his first multi-platinum hit. Hammer became the first hip hop artist to achieve diamond status with his next album Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em (1990), helping him become one of the most prominent media celebrities of the early 1990s.[8][9][10] After being labeled a sellout by the changing landscape of hip hop music which led to declining record sales for his fourth album, Too Legit To Quit (1991), Hammer unsuccessfully attempted to appeal to the rise of gangsta rap with his next album, The Funky Headhunter (1994).[11] However, due to commercial overexposure,[12] Hammer's popularity waned by the mid-1990s, which led to a highly publicized bankruptcy beginning in 1996.[13] He has since released seven more albums, in addition to multiple songs after 2010.
Along with a Mattel doll and other merchandise, Hammer starred in a Saturday-morning cartoon called Hammerman in 1991. He became an ordained preacher during the late 1990s and hosted MC Hammer and Friends, a Christian ministry program on TBN. Hammer was also a dance judge on Dance Fever in 2003, was the co-creator of the dance website DanceJam.com,[14][15] and was executive producer of his own reality show titled Hammertime (which aired on the A&E Network during the summer of 2009).[16][17]
Throughout his career, Hammer has managed his own recording business as a record label CEO. As a result, Hammer has created and produced his own acts/music including Ho Frat Hoo!,[18] Oaktown's 3.5.7, Special Generation, Analise, DRS, B Angie B,[19] Gentry Kozia[20][21] and Oakland Fight Club.[22] A part of additional record labels, he has associated, collaborated and recorded with Psy,[23] VMF,[24] Tupac Shakur, Teddy Riley, Felton Pilate, Tha Dogg Pound, The Whole 9,[25] The Hines Brother,[26] Deion Sanders, Big Daddy Kane, BeBe & CeCe Winans and Jon Gibson. Hammer signed with Suge Knight's Death Row Records in 1995.[27]
BET ranked Hammer as the No. 7 "Best Dancer of All Time".[28] Vibe's "The Best Rapper Ever Tournament" declared him the 17th favorite of all-time during the first round. He continues to perform concerts at music venues and appears in television advertisements,[29][30][31] along with participating in social media and ministry/outreach functions.[32][33] Hammer is also active in community and sports activities,[34][35] being interviewed locally and nationally.[36][37]
Turn this mother out. Turn this mother out. Hey, I'm fucking with MC Hammer. Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03CX1 DJs, we do things different podcasts, untold stories of MC Hammer. We're gonna have some fun tonight, man. We're gonna have some fun. I don't think I can my charger in here. Yeah, we're gonna have some fun today. Shout out to everybody that's checking in on a check-in. I'm gonna uh I got a couple announcements to make before we start the show. MC Hammer. MC Hammer was definitely a uh icon. Was definitely still is an icon in the music industry. He he he is. I love MC Hammer. Yeah, so he's definitely still an icon in this music industry. A lot of a lot of people act like they had a problem with Hammer when he first had the scene. And we're gonna get into it. We're gonna get into that tonight. And this mic stand is crazy. Let me do it like that. Yeah. So we're gonna get into it tonight. Let me um let me let me relax myself. I'm gonna give time to everybody coming here. How everybody doing? Let me show let me start. Oh, I cannot not start Instagram. I almost forgot about the Instagram, y'all. Hold up. I don't want to do that. Hit live right there. Hit the live feed. Make sure we live. There we are. So I want to thank everybody that came to the Marriage of Blige Untold Stories yesterday. That was crazy. I want to thank everybody for joining that. Now let me let me get let me let's get into hammer. Me breaking records. I started DJing at an early age, okay? So hammer was one of the friends. I'm not gonna say he's he was a couple of one of them records that when Turn This Mother Out and Two Legit came out, came out in the 80s, okay? Like the 89, the 90-ish kind of thing. But honestly, let me tell you something. Because my um my my my father was work working with DJ Redalurg out in uh New York. So it was a lot of hammer stuff that we was getting from California. A lot of a lot of the West Coast music. So you gotta understand New York was dominating the music scene at the time. So a lot of a lot of the a lot of the music that came in, Penny Much was New York running the scene. They didn't look at the West Coast. NWA uh did it, but Hammer came around. Hammer was doing music. Everybody only understand it. When they first started hearing the hammer, Hammer was already already doing music. So this is the untold stories of MC Hammer. So we're not we are not gonna tell you the shit you already know. We're not gonna talk. I'm gonna tell you we're not gonna talk about tonight about him looking out for everybody and so-called going broke. Everybody said he went broke. Hammer was hammer broke, and the hammer broke y'all claim he was is not the same broke as a person that's working at Wendy's broke or Walmart or any of this uh Home Depot broke or ask yourself what kind of when you when they were trying to say hammer went broke. What do you mean? I'm stuttering. What what what what I want to have a conversation with all the haters because people always want to act like they know what the fuck is in another nigga pockets and want to know what who the other motherfucker really know and they don't know shit about nothing. And um in my announcements, we're gonna get into that tonight. But I want to start it off by how you can a motherfucker call somebody broke when they don't have their financial records. Oh well, he said he was broke. When you filed chapter 11 of uh bankruptcy, don't mean you broke, that means you trying to protect certain assets that you got from either IRS, wife, collectors, shit like that. So you will say one thing and be doing another. I I hate it when I I'm gonna tell you something. Hammer, MC Hammer is still one of my favorite artists of all time. He's in my top five. And I'm not just saying that. He won't be on Untold Story. See, Untold Stories is of giving paying paying homage and promoting the artists that my radio station played. That's number one, CX1 DJ's 247 radio. And also people that I was I I used to, you know, promote professionally and on the DJ side. So you can't make it to the untold story unless I even I got a DJ butter rock. I'm the host. I gotta agree to want to give the free promotion because that's what it says. We don't charge the label, we don't charge the artists, they management, they publicists. We get, we show, we do, we we we let them know what we're doing. They have, you know, they could deny it. And like I said, and all when I do my presentation, who the fuck would deny us doing it, uh uh uh pay homage to you? Who? Because the title, Untold Stories, we we tell everybody to read the underneath, read everything we do. Even when I reach out to the artists, people or reach, I always reach out to the record company, that's number one. Whatever label any of these artists were signed to, we reach out, our people, our team reached out to them. Because a lot of these labels own the masters, they own the they own a lot of shit. We're just gonna say that on this hammer show. And hammer know that. So we reach out to the for the proper licenses and shit like that. We do our shit right. We don't just do stories on motherfuckers. We we we we don't do that. And then we uh a day before, we make sure we contact the people we need to contact, artist-wise. Um, either or it's just show is gonna happen. I mean, we we we could we gotta either it's gonna be positive or negative. If somebody says, hey, why you ain't doing why you trying to do an untold story on me? Why? That's when that shit could come become negative. Because I want to know what the fuck you gotta hide. The fans wanna know what the fuck you gotta hide. Shout out to T Cap. Vice president of the CXY DJs. We if anybody ever say, and Hammer, Hammer supported it, he didn't shoot it down one way or the other. He like he let it go on, and we doing it what we're doing. So we're gonna big up to Hammer for not trying to tell us not to do this, because he didn't know what the hell, what kind of untold story we're gonna tell tonight. So, untold stories for MC Hammer that's gonna be watching us, I'm quite sure. And um, shout out to Hammer team and everybody that's a part of MC Hammer that supports MC Hammer. So let's let me get in my camera right here. So, for those that's new to DJ Butter Rock, now you might say, Did you ever meet MC Hammer? No, never met Hammer ever in life. So you know when I do my stories, I tell you the people I met, and I'll tell you the people I but Bill Watson, my business partner from Smoking Joe Entertainment, Bud Wise Superfest, he met Hammer a bunch of times. So he gave me his hammer stories, and a couple of my uh record as ex gave me their stories, and I got the stories that I that I did my research on. One thing I'm gonna say, a lot of people, when I was young, because I was a teenager, I was in middle school when Hammer came out. I'm 50, I'm 52, but when Hammer came out in the late 80s, early 90s, well, I heard him out, but like I said, my father was DJ, you know, was rolling with uh with Bill Watson back in the day, and uh he was definitely a promoter in a DJ, my father. He was with DJ Redalurk. Red Alurk used to get all the music, but I'm not gonna just give all flowers of DJ Redalurk. It was a bunch of DJs in New York that had anything that came down a pipeline, any new artists. The West Coast was on a come up then. Like I said, you had NWA, you had a couple of a couple of another other artists that was on a come-up at that time. And Hammer definitely people think he just came out of nowhere. No, Hammer was on the scene. It's just the Oakland hip hop was not popular in the East Coast. I'm from the East Coast, I'm from New Jersey. So, but one thing I will give me being from New Jersey, we got all the music that Down South didn't get. Down South got it probably a year after us. Virginia got it a year after us. We had hammer, we had NWA, we had Ice Cube, um Um Um Spice One, uh Sugar Free, all these artists from the 80s and the 90s, like Sugar Free, Hammer, a lot of these people that we um uh definitely too short, I was up on. I was up on them early. Like too short, been in the game for a long time. I used to have two short cassette tapes. My you know, and my father, I had my father, and I had my stepfather. My my my my stepfather is from Los Angeles, so he used to bring all the music anyway. And Hammer was one of the per persons, he said, DJ Butter Rock. My father, I I've been DJ Butter Rock my whole life. He said, Man, yo, check out Hammer. I'm like, who the fuck? I played, I played it, I liked it. It was fast tempo. This is before we saw the videos. You know, the videos came out once he was popular. So I had hammer music back in the 80s, the middle 80s, 86, 87, way before he was even released, way before he had a record deal. Way before, way before Hammer had any kind of record deal, we had as cassette tapes. My father got it from the swap meeting in California, and he used to come to New Jersey with the cassette tapes, not a CD. And uh, you know, we because back in the day we had the vinyl, but we also had the rail o'erail, and we had the cassette decks that you could actually, if you don't have it on vinyl, you could mix it with the cassette the cassette tapes, and that's what we used to have. So the hammer music wasn't that on vinyl at the time. So when we DJ'd, I had to play the mixer. You had to put the, you know, you had to put the mixer in uh uh uh whatever channel you gotta put it in for the cassette tape. You had your vinyl, it was no fucking CDJs back in the 80s, all right? So if I ever said, yeah, I had a CDJ in 1980, I'm lying. Get the fuck off the untold stories immediately if I tell you I had a CDJ back in 1987. Get the fuck off today. No, we had cassette tapes and we had vinyl. That's it. And rail of Rails. Do you know the big ass rail? You put your rail on there, and that a lot of people used to DJ on that. Yeah, one thing I like about the Railer Rails, and we had a sampler. Say if I wanted to sample something, I'm gonna sample one of the songs from Hammer or whatever, you can sample it. So we did have we did have the samplers. Hold on. Yeah, I gotta get uh this this table. Hold on, hold on, y'all. I gotta I got a new mic stand. I gotta make sure this shit is definitely when it needs to be. Keep my eye on that shit. I I'm the only motherfucker that's having problems with his mic stands and shit. I don't I don't I don't know what the fuck we're gonna have to call the mic stand police. Yeah, so so so not dragging it on, but I want to get right into the hammer shit, like my my my introduction of MC Hammer. So that's my introduction. My father from California. My I I'll I'll call him my stepfather. My my my my actual birth father went to went to jail for murder. So uh, you know, he was gone for 25 years, and then my stepfather from California, my mother got with him, and then we we was rocking with that. But anyway, and he was a father pick a period, even when him and my mother was not together. And he was from California, and and he we we connected even right now. So, make a long story short, Hammer was introduced to me from him, and from there we uh definitely um got into Hammer. So let's get into uh uh uh another thing I want to talk about. Everybody you don't have to be into the music for a motherfucker to be hold on for me reading something. You don't have to be into the genre of music for a person to be successful. Like Hammer was getting a lot of hate. When I say hate, nobody from the East Coast was like taking him seriously. So when he got his major deal, he the first song came out, 89, um, and the the Hammer time album, everything came out. We we we we got we're gonna fastboard a little bit. Album came out, videos out, you start seeing the videos, you start seeing the promotion. Shout out to DJ Money, uh the bite the president of CX1 DJs, check it in. Um so when you start seeing the when you start seeing his videos and you start seeing him dancing, and uh people like really taking like who what the fuck is this? And you have people thinking that ain't hip hop, like what the fuck is Hammer doing? I like how can you judge a person on their dancing? So people didn't take the people in New Jersey. I'm I'm just gonna tell y'all. People in the East Coast didn't take Hammer seriously. Once Hammer came out, he starts selling for some reason everybody from the West Coast and down south sold more units to the niggas from New York and New Jersey that was in the scene. So you always had the big mouth motherfuckers. I don't want to call New York in New York New Jersey. You have the up, you have the East Coast North northerners that always talk shit about the people from down south and the West Coast and the Midwest. We we, you know, not me, because I was a DJ. You know, a real DJ do not if you you can't be a real DJ and you out here judging music. How can you call yourself a real DJ? And this is the Jones Graphics, look at this. This is the hoodie fleece because it's cold in my house. I keep it cold everywhere I go. And you can wear this in the summer. If you work it out, you can wear it. I work out of this. This is the Jones Graphics hoodie fleece. You see that fleece? Look at that, look at that. So you can throw the hoodie on like that. If y'all watch me on YouTube or uh Spotify, you can see this. I'm gonna I'm gonna back up a little bit. Look at, look, look at that. Um look at that. Look at look at that. Look at this shit. Look at this shit. Just look at this shit. And T Cap, I got a picture of your shit. It was mailed out. I think they had the wrong, they put the wrong zip code, it came back to us, and it's being re-mailed out tomorrow. Your shirt. I'm gonna I'm gonna text you a picture of it. It came back. I guess Bill put the wrong fucking zip code. I don't know. It came back to us. The post over the sun and back. We got it. I'm gonna I'm gonna send you a picture of it. It'd be going in the mail tomorrow. Yeah, so um, and uh DJ Money, you gotta buy a shirt, sir. You ain't buy a shirt. We we are aware you didn't buy a shirt. It's $55. Use the cash app that you use for the radio and buy a shirt so we can mail it to you, sir. We we're gonna need you to support us and buy a shirt, sir. You could use the same cash app T Cap. I mean uh DJ Money, we appreciate it. It's $55 for the shirt. And uh I'm gonna I'm gonna text you the shirt with TCAP shirt look like uh uh DJ Money. Please go ahead and support. Everybody, everybody brought a shirt, money. We we need you to buy a shirt, sir. Um back to the MC Hammer story because I'm gonna this story right here is is a is a very deep story because it's something that I want y'all to listen. I'm not gonna rush, and if y'all notice I ain't talking no bullshit, I need oh before I get back to the hammer story. I need everybody to like, share, subscribe, invite people on. Um also, I'm doing this for the underground artists. Let me take my hoodie off. The hats, if you want a uh, a CX1 DJ podcast app like what I got on, it's $45. Yeah, it we you we have the YouTube, we have the at CX1 DJ Podcast, and then your name could be on in there. It's $45. It's free shipping, but you got to use the cash app. Money signed CX1 DJ Callish L L C. I need everybody, you everybody show. Hey, T Cap, order your hat, man. It's $45. Come on, cuz GD blood crap. I'm fucking with you, T Cap, but you TCAP order one of these hats, bro. And I'm gonna I'm gonna TCAP, when the show's over, I'm gonna text you a picture, letting you know I ain't bullshitting. We mailed your shirt. It came back because we had the wrong, we put the wrong zip code. You bit the right zip code. I think Bill, when he was up here, he mailed it with the he pit, he put our zip code. We're gonna re-mail it. But uh the hats is $45, shirts is $55. Show love to the CS1DG podcast. All proceeds goes to the podcast for you know, keep it running. This shit costs a lot of money, costs thousands of dollars a month. This shit is not free, y'all. So another thing I'm gonna do for you artists before I get back into the MC Hammer Untold stories. Everybody could get an interview, a 30-minute interview for $200. This promotion's gonna last until the end of July. Nobody's no free interviews. I don't give a fuck. T Caps, no, no free interviews, sir. DJ Money is no free interviews. Only we'll do is discount. The normal price is $3,500, and this won't be on the untold stories. No one could be on untold stories unless you're a major music artist or an actor or or uh you into the sports. You may you gotta be major to be untold stories. No, un I can't I can't even do untold stories on Punkerfoot. Chad from iHeart Media said, nope, it's only made for major figures. So if you're not you didn't make it yet, if you still underground, unfortunately, you will not be on untold stories. So TCAP, we gotta you and Punkerfoot, we got you and we're just gonna do a story on y'all niggas. Name it whatever we name it after y'all, whatever we'll think of a name, whenever we're gonna do it. So untold story is only for major artists, and that one artist, uh uh uh three bomb got lucky because she got untold stories. I don't know how the hell that was a mistake. So uh they're gonna edit that because that that ain't supposed to be untold story. Um, so that cover and that title need to be edited on her interview. So Skeletor get to that because that three bomb interview ain't supposed to be untold story. Edit that cover, edit that the background of the distributor. So that could be I don't get fined for that because you know we we we licensed this out to our heart media. So nope. If you're an independent artist, you can't be untold stories. Now let's get back to MC Hammer. Too legit to quit too legit to quit. Let's get back to Hammer. So, nobody was taking hammer seriously. I personally like the hammer though. You just saying that. No, no, niggas. I really did like hammer. I like Turn This Mother Out. I'm gonna tell you some of my favorite hammer songs. Okay, you ready to hear it? Turn this mother out. I love that song. I like the production. One thing about Hammer, he made sure he had good production. It was at the the studio, it was good. Oh shit, we got 2,000 people watching on Roku. Okay. I'm looking at the damn board over here. Shit. All right, let me talk my shit. I'm gonna talk my shit. All right, so for all my people on Roku, appreciate you. If y'all don't want to come to Instagram, some people like sitting home watching it on their TV, which I tell all my members, watch it on your TV. It it it it you you'll get the full experience when you're watching YouTube on your goddamn smart TV. You niggas will wake up one day. So back to Hammer. So, like I said, people sleeping on Hammer. Then once Hammer got released, '89, uh we're gonna majorly, he came out in 1989, 1990, whatever. My paperwork say 89. He came out. One thing about Hammer, he didn't just come out with us. He had the singles, but he had three albums already ready to go. It's something about the West Coast niggas. It's like they they they don't be playing around. Like even with Master P, he had six albums, five albums. So Hammer had the had the material already. He already had where he was going, the direction he was going. And even though people was trying to shit on him dancing with the hammer, everybody had hammer pants. While people were shitting on hammer, they wanted to be hammer. How can you hate on a motherfucker you want to be? Where the fuck did they do that? Like do that at? You're like, people will hate on hammer, but they want to be hammer. And I like, where the fuck did that, where, where the hell did they do that at? How can you hate on somebody you want to be? And then he sold a whole bunch of records, and people said it's because he was dancing. So he didn't sell records because he his music was good. So people, people, you know, some of the critics at that time didn't want to give Hammer his credit. Like he didn't, you're trying to tell me he didn't sell records because I actually liked Hammer music. I didn't really pay it. I saw the dance in the day, I saw the, I was, you know, I'm I'm I like girls. So I was looking at the females when they dancing. I I I didn't really pay attention to Hammer dancing. But I'm quite sure, you know, Hammer's dancing. Now we say, all right, well, Hammer dance good, he's in shape. I get it. But Butter Rock was looking at the girls. Who would be looking at them girls with the hiking shorts on? Working their ass out. Damn. Back in the 90s and 80s, I was young. So, you know, we're gonna look at the females. We're not really gonna look at we're not really gonna be looking at no uh no home. We're not having you know, when I watch Hammer, I was looking at the girls. Everybody know that. So if you didn't like the music, two things you was doing with Hammer, you was looking at the damn girls. Now, if you wasn't looking at the girls, you telling the goddamn lie. Cause I I I'm gonna be honest with you. Y'all. I was into the DJ shit, but I was like, I was into the DJ shit, but I was more like, hey man, I I gotta turn on Mizzy, I gotta turn on uh MTV raps, I gotta turn on MTV to see Hammer and the bitches. I was like, yo, I gotta see the hoes. Because I ain't in this motherfucker watching no hammer, Hammer. You had some dudes dancing with you too. I love you, Hammer. I know Hammer's gonna watch this. One thing I give Hammer, Hammer's like really hands-on with his career. He he from the old school, so he's not gonna not support us and not watch the video. He's gonna watch it. So I'm gonna tell Hammer straight on up, hey man, I I I love what you was doing. I am a fan. I I am I'm I'm uh I'm definitely a person that love MC Hammer. And um I'm gonna get into it. So his label was Capitol Records EMI. At the time, Capitol Records was uh was EMI was was new on the scene. It was Capitol Records, EMI, and Def Row. So keep in mind Def Row took over EMI. Then Defrow got their distribution with Inscope. Walk with me. I'm gonna teach your niggas something. This is the some of these shows are gonna be educational. I, you know, I joke around. I, you know, I want to battle these bitch ass DJs that that's scared to battle, but we ain't talking about them now. We're talking about MC Hammer. They gotta look at the biggie smalls fucking untold stories about that. We ain't gonna bring that on all our shows. Them niggas ain't trying to battle. Ain't they they, you know, everybody wanna be famous, but they they want to say they famous, but they don't want to they want to battle a nigga. I'm I'm into the real DJ shit. I I I told them them other DJs I want to battle them instead of instead of beating their ass in the ring. A box, I gotta say I want to box their ass and bring them in a ring and fuck them up. But they too old, so I don't fuck around, knock them nigga out and die. One of them niggas dies, some shit, and then I'll be in. Well, I won't be in jail if we sign a waiver. So this pause the MC Hammer the shit. So them other two DJs, you the other it were three DJ crews that have that act like they had an issue with me. And I said, Well, shit, we don't gotta take it to no streets. We could just battle on the term tables. And I I I I issue a challenge. I made sure all three of them got my challenge. One nigga got to go to DJ school to learn how to fucking DJ, so we won't talk about it. I ain't gonna mention their name on this one. They know what the fuck I'm talking about. The other two old motherfuckers, they they they they got the challenge, they got the YouTube link, they looked at it, and they didn't take the challenge. Man, fuck that. No, on some DJ on this MC Hammond show, I'm gonna say this. The challenge, whenever y'all get ready, you want to bet. I uh my the battle with the the the offer is still on the table, $20,000 each. I will bust both of y'all asses in the DJ battle. And I already confirmed with DJ Money, he's my backup DJ. So if I get tired, I need to get a water, I take a shit or fuck a bitch in the bathroom. Money got me, and we mean money split the money after we bust both of y'all ass. So that's 40 grand. That's $20 for money. No, hold on, money. You you the backup DJ. Hold on, let me stop. Slow the fuck down. You gotta relax. We'll make sure you took care of DJ Money. Because these old niggas ain't gonna battle us. They think they're too fresh. Nigga, you ain't fresh. They they think they too fresh to battle us, money. But I could put the heat up, but uh Bill said, but you can do the battle out there. We made sure they got the them motherfuckers got the video. I'm quite sure the girl I was on there, she told them niggas from Fleet. I'ma say the fleet and core and um nerve that we, you know, we it's a challenge out there for 20 for 40 bands across the line, and we ain't losing. CX1 DJs ain't losing shit. So I'm gonna say this again. Fuck it. I'm gonna say it again. I'm gonna say it again. Tony Neil, the owner, founder, president of Nerd of Core DJs. I want to battle your ass in the DJ battle. Y'all do all that talking on them goddamn Zoom calls. We're gonna let it go. All those fucking interviews. Nobody give a fuck who you work with, who you do. Nobody gives a fuck about your accolades, nigga. Let's talk about the DJ shit. I know that one. I did that. Who gives a fuck? On this MC Hammer unto story. I had to pause it to say this because you niggas ignoring the battle. You this is real. Tony Nil from Core DJs, the CEO, the owner, the founder, the nigga. DJ Butterock, the CEO of CX1 DJs. MC Hammer, if you know, I'm I'm quite sure that motherfucker because I know MC Hammer. Tony Nil know every fucking about it. I know MC Hammer. I know the Pitbull down the street. We have our attorney have our money, and let's get it done. That's what Johnny O and fucking uh uh uh Tony Neil. I already forgot your damn name, Tony Nil, goddammit. A classic for the fleet DJs, I want to battle you too, but you gotta learn how to DJ. I still want to battle you, classic, because you do a lot of fucking talking, you short nigga. You need some boots, you need some of them Prince boots, you short motherfucker. You know, you know, classic is short as a motherfucker. You don't need talking motherfucker, you fucking midget. You need some one of them fucking high head boots when you're talking to me, nigga. You have you ever stand next to classic, that nigga short as hell. I ain't shitting on you, classic. You just need some prince boots. You know, Prince is short. When you put the boots on that nigga, tall as fuck. Classic, y'all better leave me the fuck alone. I'm trying to tell y'all nigga, I will crack you. I know how to I could I could jone you niggas all night, nigga. Ain't nothing y'all can say to me you're gonna make me sad, nigga. I was gonna make me make me go back, crack it on you, niggas. I could I know how to crack, nigga. I was cracking back in the back in the day, nigga. We we we we crack jokes all day over here at CX1 DJs, nigga. Now, Tony Nail, your old ass need to work out because you get fat and old. Johnny O. You already old. Stop drinking, nigga. Stop drinking, Johnny O. And get back to the uh essence of this DJ shit. All two of these niggas could DJ. Core DJ, uh uh fucking uh Tony Nail could DJ, Johnny O could DJ. Them niggas just can't beat me. You nigga, I'm calling you niggas out. You cannot beat me on the tank tables. I'm looking at the camera. Hold on, MC Hammer. I'm gonna back with you. You niggas cannot beat me on the turntables. And if you think you can, you think this is a joke, contact my PR, my publicist. The real Julia Simmons at Julia Simmons 646 at gmail.com. Call my bluff. Say that nigga bluff. No nigga, I'm serious. I'm looking at y'all. And this show is sponsored by Jones Graphics T-shirt printing. So, Johnny O, y'all need any t-shirts printing and core DJs, y'all need anything to support a black-owned business, go to JonesGraphics44.com. It's JonesGraphics44.com. Don't be no hater. Don't be getting y'all niggas don't get sensitive. You know, old niggas get all sensitive. That nigga trying to dispel nigga, trying to get the nerd core DJs to jump me and shit. Now, don't do that. You're gonna start, you're gonna start a revolution war. You don't you niggas don't want to do that. And I love all my core DJs, I love all my nerd DJs. I don't dislove nobody. I just want to battle the two motherfuckers that own it. I want to battle fucking Tony Neal and DJing. I want to battle Johnny O and DJing. Ain't no B. Hell no, I'm I'm I'm against B, baby. We're making money for 20 grand, 20 grand challenge. And them niggas got it. I'm not contacting no broke, I'm not contacting no fucking uh X Squad DJs, niggas I know don't got no money. Shout out to you, Demel. That was not no shot to you, Demel, from X Squad DJs. I love you. I just know they don't got 20 bands about me. And and and hold up, hold up, stop it. Damel, you not no DJ either. How the fuck these niggas running DJ Demel from X Squad DJs? I have no problem with you yet. But you not no DJ, Demel, and I love you, Demel. You ain't no DJ either. Where the fuck these niggas get? How they start DJ Cruise not being a DJ? Xquad DJs being, we don't got no problem. Y'all ain't say nothing bad about me. I'ma I'ma stay off your own ass. Demel, you my nigga. Now the mail knows how to fight. That nigga know how to box. I saw that nigga nigga knock a dick out. I saw that nigga knock a nigga. Boom, he's I'm not for fighting, but I will fight. That's how Demel talk. I love you, Demel. I'm not gonna talk shit about you, Demel, because you ain't do shit to CS1 DJs. You ain't do a damn thing to me. Why the fuck is Border Rock bringing my name up? That's how DeMail talked. It's not like Martin Luther King and shit. Why is them niggas bringing my name up? Damel, I'ma stay up your ass. I know you're cool with Johnny O. Hey, Demel, if you see this, tell Johnny O, old ass I want to battle him. You tell that nigga, my mic's now fucking up. You tell that nigga I want to battle him. Because Demel, you had that nigga number on. I called Johnny O with DJ Money on the phone. And and that nigga wouldn't answer the goddamn phone. I said, money, this nigga ain't that. Let me keep money out. Money, money in it though. Because money said, I'll bust their ass too, nigga. I'll bust their ass. We ready to get this paper, nigga. Because I know them old niggas got the money. They got a fucking 401k, CDEs, all kind of shit. Them know if anybody got it, Tony Neal and Johnny O got it. Them niggas are about 90 years old. They got it. Shit. Let's get back to MC Hammer unto stories. I'm sorry, yo. Somebody hit a battery in my back. Say, yo, nigga, don't forget to bring up that shit about the battle, nigga. I said, God damn, I'm gonna get off track. And then Julia Simmons said, Yeah, don't forget to mention it. And and and and Chad from AH Media said, mention it one more time. Just one more and leave it alone. And I love you guys. I love Tony Neil from I think Tony Neil took a lot of money from a lot of people and he did his job. I think Johnny O took a lot of money and he did his job. This ain't about what y'all did with your DJ crew. This is about what you did to me. Y'all ran your mouth about butter rock. So now I'm gonna bust your ass on some DJ shit. Now just take the challenge, and I know y'all businessmen, so I don't want to waste y'all time. So each each battle is 20 grand. If I win, you pay me. If I lose, which I'm not, I pay you. And it's gonna be under a contract. So I'm gonna sign a contract. Yo nigga, your DJ crew is gonna sign a contract. The lawyer's gonna have it. The money will be in a cashier form. I've decided it'll be cashier. I ain't giving you niggas no cash. I want to trace my fucking money. If I lose, I need to write this shit off on my taxes. But I'm not losing. MC Hammer, hold on, y'all. Hold on, hold on, hold on. We gotta put a pause to the untold stories. I'm gonna say this real quick. Butterk ain't losing. If y'all thought I was just bullshit on the last untold stories of Biggie when I told DJ uh fucking Tony Neil and Johnny O, I want to battle him. I was not joking. I've been practicing. I'm a bad motherfucker. I know how to present records. Uh Tony Neil been DJing since 1942. So that motherfucker's bad. 1942, nigga. He's old. Gianni's been DJing since 1932. So I've already been practicing to battle you old niggas. Okay? You some seasoned niggas. I'm not gonna take that from you. I'm looking in the camera one. You niggas is bad, but you're not bad as me. I know how you niggas probably have arthritis when you're DJing. So you ever get on the Zoom and mention CX1 DJs again, motherfucker, make sure I'm on there. And we are available, bitch. So don't act like we not available. Oh, it's they ain't available. Oh no, we're available, motherfucker. Calm nigga. All you niggas got my number. We not available to get on the Zoom call. So you wanna talk shit about us? It's just too D. No, we got 4,000 DJs. Unfortunately, let me say this before I get back into the uh MC Hammond thing. We can't make no DJ be active. So I'm gonna out of respect for Johnny O, classic ass, and out of respect for and out and out of respect for core DJs, we can have a bunch of DJs, but if they not active, they're not active. So you might see the CEOs pushing the crew. I understand that. That's what the fuck I be doing. Some of my niggas don't be active. But when it's time to get active, niggas will get active. One person says, Well, if you pay me, I could be way more active than I am already is. No, nigga. Why would I pay a motherfucker that nobody knows? If you ain't active for yourself, why the fuck should I pay you to be active for me? So, in that aspect, I understand nerve and fleet and core DJs not promoting certain DJs and they be the face of the crew because some of the members of the crew don't want to do shit unless they're getting paid. Nigga don't work like that. You should be active anyway. If we paying you or not. If I go to your Instagram page and you ain't posting shit, I go to your Facebook, you ain't posting shit. But everyone you want to post it, that ain't active. You can't be uh you can't break your name or your crew if you're not active. So that's the only thing I'm gonna give these niggas. I'm gonna give credit because I see it in my DJ crew. We got over 6,000 members. Over. And only the ones that's active is the ones that's want to be active. So I'm gonna say this real quick and I'm gonna move back on to the MC Hammer shit. Whatever y'all want to take the battle, I will bust that ass on these turntables. No beefing, all positive. I love all DJs involved, but I do want to battle Tony Nail. You the owner of core DJs. Nigga, I know you, you know me. I'm the owner of CX1 DJs. I'm the owner, I'm badass DJ. I will bust your ass on these turntables. Johnny, yo, the owner of Nerve DJs. You know me, I know you, nigga. I want to battle your ass in DJ. I will bust that ass. 20 grand on the line. We got the paper. Pit it up. Let's go. Powered by Jones Graphics t-shirt pin. Go buy a fucking uh sweater or a towel once I'll bust your ass from Jones Graphics44.com because you're gonna be sweating, your old ass niggas. All right, let's get back to the um untold stories. So let's get back into it. So, like I said, hammer. People with shitt on hammer. So you get all these rappers talking about yo man, hammer ain't no hammer, him ain't he polluting in the hip-hop. He he he he ain't hip hop, he ain't shit. All that nigga is dancing like a slave. How dare you talk about that by hammer? And guess who said that? Guess who? Guess who talked the most shit about MC Hammer? Y'all ain't gonna believe it.
unknownHold on, hold on, yeah, hold on, hold on.
SPEAKER_03I think it's this table. I gotta get a better better better table. Guess who talked the most shit about hammer? Fucking Tupac Shakar. Tupac talked the most shit about MC Hammer. And what's so sad about it? When Tupac was in, right before Tupac went to jail, he was talking so much shit about MC Hammer. So much shit. So when he comes home, guess what label he was with? He was with Death Row, and MC Hammer signed to Def Row. He said so much bullshit about MC Hammer, then he was his MC Hammer was about to about to whoop his ass. Untold stories. This ain't nowhere. Pac got out of jail. They was on Sunset Boulevard, and he he approached Hammer like, yo, he said some shit to Hammer. Hammer sucker punched his ass. And this is a true story. He sucker punched Tupac. I got it. Untold story. I MC Hammer. He sucker punched that motherfucker. That nigga fell down out there on the beach. And this came from my father, so I know it's true. My father was actually there. I wasn't there. My father was there. He got up, and then of course the security grabbed Pac, they grabbed Hammer. And after after Hammer sucker punched Tupac, Shakur, they was the best friends after. That hammer started being Tupac started being Tupac mentor. How you gonna go talk shit about a nigga? And then Hammer saw him and sucker punch at his ass. He called Tupac bluff. Nobody knew that. They knew Tupac made some comments about Hammer. When Tupac got out of Rackers Island and he was on bail, he was out there working on All Eyes on Me and he saw Hammer. I don't think he knew Hammer was signed to death row. Untold stories, uh MC Hammer. So Hammer bust that nigga in his shit. He bust Tupac and his shit. Um the uh the security broke it up. I double-checked his story. And my father is a straight up rolling sixty. So that nigga know what he's talking about. He was there. They was actually, you know, there, the Snoop people, and then it was a list of people. When we do something on Snoop, y'all hear about that story as well. So it was broken up. Pac apologized to Hammer for being disrespectful, which he should. And RP to Pac. And him and Hammer, Hammer took Pac on the, you know, once you get your ass whooped, almost whooped. Now I'ma say the security didn't bring it up. The hood niggas broke it up, alright? So we don't know if Pac Hammer was in shape. Hammer was in shape. Hammer, Hammer's uh, hold on for a minute. Let me get it. Hammer is 64 years old. So we talking about this happened in 90, 90, end of 95, 96, whenever he got out of jail. Right before Pac got killed. So um it happened, it didn't happen after he got out of jail, like a couple of like a month, a couple of months or two. They was working on all his eyes all eyes on me, working on Pac Album at the time. He finally saw Hammer, Hammer, Hammer took it to his ass first. Pac was, you know, on some arrogant shit. It was told to me by a credible source, my father, and a couple other people. Because I had a I had a um fact check what my father said with the record companies, and they they they said it the people from Interscope said it was true. So Hammer whoop he punched that nigga out, put like that, and he fell out on the floor, they picked him up, and uh, of course, Pac had outlaws with him. They was, you know, was about to fight Hammer people. Hammer had so many motherfucking people with him, they I don't think the outlaws would have won that shit. And I love the outlaws. I hate to say y'all, sorry. This is an untold story, so I gotta tell the story that's untold. That's definitely untold. So um, let's tell a shit that was told. And then we're gonna get into the video when Pac was dissing hammer today, too. But I'm gonna tell you something. Untold stories of MC Hammer. I gotta keep breaking into that so you know what you're fucking watching. So it was, I got it, I got it right here from my PR. It was 1996 at a uh it was a uh actually it was a studio session. I guess it was in town. Alcast. Alcast was in there doing a feature with MC Hammer. And um Alcast pretty much telling niggas, hey man, I love you. He they embracing them night, man. We fuck with Hammer, we embrace it, we want to do a feature, and then um somebody was in there arguing with another motherfucker, and a fire broke out and the fire department put out the fire, and they canceled the session. That's why we never got the song with Outcast and MC Hammer. Because it was a fire at the studio, and they had to come pick it up. Some nigga was in there and they set a fire. I don't know what the fuck they was doing in there. But, you know, I was told to be it was a fire in there, and uh they had to cancel the studio session. Outcast and MC Hammer was about to do a song, about to do a project unto stories of MC Hammer. That story would never told. I never knew that Outcast was gonna do something with MC Hammer, and that was correct. They and they enjoyed his music, they embraced him, and at the time, Outcast was just coming out. Ellie Reed had them on a uh a press run and they was in California and they was uh hooked up to hooking up to do something with MC Hammer that it didn't happen because of fire. I'm thinking that fire was intentionally made. What y'all think? Y'all picture this MC Hammer and the Outcast project back then in the 90s. That would have been some dope shit. Let's get into how big MC Hammer was. MC Hammer, let's get to pull my shit up now. MC Hammer was bigger than Rundy MC at one point. MC Hammer was bigger than LL Coo J at one point. MC Hammer was bigger than any artist from the East Coast. MC Hammer sold millions of records. Got million, millions of them, got a bunch of MTV awards, Grammy Awards. He made so much money, he financed all his dances and security, his family. Everybody that rolled with Hammer, which I already know this, he financed the whole lifestyle. Not because he made he somebody made him do it. He was trying to change everybody's life. He was trying to be a he's a good dude. He was always a Christian-based person. A lot of people thought Hammer was a slouch. Hammer will beat your motherfucking ass. MC Hammer, the one I studied, the one I support, the music I've been listening to since the 80s, to early late 80s to now, to now. I'm still listening to MC Hammer. He was a person that believed in God. He had married. He was brought up in a good family. He loved his mother. He loved his father. He stayed, he stayed on the ground, even though, even though if anything was going wrong in his family, he kept that shit private. He never disrespected his mother. He stands on morals, what some of you motherfuckers didn't stand on. So we giving props and praise to MC Hammer tonight on the Untold Stories. Let's talk about before we get into the video, let's talk about the time that MC Hammer got on stage and won all his all his Alcalays awards. When people was in a crowd, I can't say their names, y'all. And they was rolling their eyes and getting interviews and saying, why the fuck is this dancing nigga that can't rap is winning and selling all these records? Back then, the record companies can make you and break you. But what they can make and break you if you're is your real talent. MC Hammond had real talent. When he got on stage and he performed, let's get this. I'm gonna look in this mirror, this much, this this uh camera right here. When MC Hammer got on stage and he performed, it was no fake numbers. It wasn't no fake person upstage practicing, it wasn't nobody else dancing, it was him dancing. It was him getting all the fans that wanted to watch him when his video came out on MTV or the BET or American Music Award. When they say, well, MC Hammond's gonna be on the show. It was his talent that made people want to tune in to watch him. It wasn't it was his talent in the songs and how he presented himself. Just like when anybody listens to any of these gangster rappers, it's whatever their persona is. So the record companies made sure he had the polished, clean image as a dancer, which he was and still is, and they embraced it and being in shape. MC Hammer is in shape now, and definitely was in shape back then. So if you you you I'm no disrespect to these uh East Coast rappers. I'm gonna say this because I'm from the East Coast. I don't want nobody emailing me or talking shit about to me after this is over. One thing Hammer did, he embraced it Oakland, California. He made sure all the homies was there. He made sure the the you knew he was from Oakland. And no matter what country what country he went to, what coast he went to, he embraced it Oakland. Some of you motherfuckers forget where you're from. A lot of motherfuckers that get in this rap gang forget where they from. Some people don't, some of you motherfuckers don't want to embrace where you're from. So I I gotta give it to Hammer. The unst1 DJs, we do these different podcasts. Untold story of MC Hammer. And I, you know, I don't want to say the shit that you guys already know. I we already know he they claim he went broke. Hammer never went broke. Broke mean you have nothing. Long as you got God and you still got family and you still got your your d your morals, you will never go broke. Longs, I'm gonna say it again. Long as you got you, he didn't lose himself in the industry. The industry lost him, but he didn't lose himself in this music industry. MC Hammer saw a lot of fucked up shit. He saw a lot of bad shit. He saw a lot of friends that he mentored die in this music shit. He saw a lot of people get crossed it in this music shit. This is something I know. So we give him props and flowers to the legend, MC Hammer. To legit to quit. So I'm gonna tell you, and no, it will be no MC Hammer's still living, so we're gonna give his flowers while he's breathing. He's not dead. So let's understand this. Let's give praise and let's continue all the DJs. I need all my CX1 DJs to continue to play MC Hammer music. Um, we're gonna play it on our our radio station, CX1247 Radio, powered by the Tuning app, and also our Heart, uh, you know, Apple Music. And I appreciate everybody. But you really support MC Hammer, go stream his music. And MC Hammer, I love you, bro. This DJ ButterRock CX1 DJs. I appreciate you guys allowing us to do this, MC Hammer. And I know you um you hands-on and you be on social media a lot, and I appreciate you, man. So we're gonna get into the video part. Let's check out MC Hammer. I want y'all to pay attention to Tupac trying to shit on him. And if y'all look at these pictures, keep in mind MC Hammer started mentoring Tupac. MC Hammer was there the night that Tupac got killed in Vegas. RIP to Tupac. MC Hammer, I love you, brother. Let's get into the video. Let's go. Let's get into it, y'all.
SPEAKER_04He did sell 10 million records, but uh, crack fiends bought 10 million rocks. That don't mean crackers. He's talking shit about celebrities. He's talking shit about MC Hemmer. The reason I mean I'm down with him because later and he's making it ass.
SPEAKER_03But however, you know what I'm saying? MC Hammer busts that ass and they become best friends. MC Hammer, you might say, damn, how Butter Rock know about that. You're not gonna let nobody talk shit about you. You're gonna whoop that him and whoop that ass. Actually, Hammer whooped a couple of people's ass that was talking shit about him. And Hammer, I know you, you, you, you, you all for peace, but one thing about MC Hammer, he did not allow you to disrespect you. Disrespect him. And if you disrespect Hammer, he will see you. And it was always these fucking rappers. It was never the fans. It was all these rappers that was mad because Hammer was making all the money. Hammer had all the bitches, and Hammer had all the clout dancing and rapping the way he knows how to do it, the Oakland way. Let's get into it. MC Hammer, CX1 DJs.
SPEAKER_04He did sell 10 million records, but uh crack things bought 10 million rocks. That don't mean crack is good. The reason I'm with him because he's a brother and he's making his mail. However, he's not looting rack. You know what I'm saying? He's making a symbol. And the reason everybody's been his wrecking is because he's no black and everybody wanna see symbol.
SPEAKER_01It's a lonely spot when you the dude. What do you talk to about being the dude?
SPEAKER_05Don't tell me to call me over and you say, Oh, Hammer, we need you to do the prayer. In the name of Jesus, amen.
SPEAKER_01I understood when I saw him on stage perform, and he understood me when he saw me on my stages. It's a lonely spot when you that dude. And who do you talk to about being that dude? Another dude that has a lot in common with you.
SPEAKER_00They were both spending money fair. Whenever you find somebody who had a common interest and got just as much money to blow as you, you know, it's always a good time.
SPEAKER_05The Falcons didn't just make the city of Atlanta legit. They made them too legit. Can't touch this. Don't sound the bit, school as it can't touch this. Give me a start. And tight. Singles up so fast for my four tape.
