Cx1DJs We Do Things Different Podcast "Untold Stories of Patti LaBelle" hosted by DJButterrock  Patricia Louise Holte (born May 24, 1944),[1] known professionally as Patti LaBelle, is an American R&B singer and actress. She has been referred to as the "Godmother of Soul".[2] LaBelle began her career in the early 1960s as lead singer and frontwoman of the vocal group Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles. After the group's name changed to Labelle in the 1970s, they released the US number-one hit "Lady Marmalade". After the group disbanded in 1977, LaBelle began a solo career, achieving mainstream success in the 1980s with singles including "If Only You Knew", "New Attitude" and "Stir It Up". In 1986, she achieved both a US number-one album, Winner in You,[3] and a US number-one single with "On My Own", a duet with Michael McDonald.[4] LaBelle won a 1992 Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for her album Burnin', and a second Grammy in 1999 for the live album Live! One Night Only. She reunited with her Labelle bandmates in 2008 for the album Back to Now.[1]

LaBelle has also had success as an actress with a role in the Academy Award-nominated film A Soldier's Story, and in television shows such as A Different World and American Horror Story: Freak Show. In 1992, LaBelle starred in her own sitcom Out All Night. In 2002, LaBelle hosted her own lifestyle show, Living It Up with Patti LaBelle, on TV One. In 2015, LaBelle took part in the dance competition Dancing with the Stars. Labelle has given her name to brands of bedding, cookbooks and food, including Patti's Sweet Potato Pie, which became a viral sensation after featuring in a YouTube video that year.[5]

In a career which has spanned seven decades, LaBelle has sold more than 50 million records worldwide. She has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame, and the Apollo Theater Hall of Fame. Rolling Stone included her on their list of 100 Greatest Singers.[6][7] LaBelle is a dramatic soprano recognized for her vocal power, modal register range and emotive delivery.[8][9][10]

I'm like, man, he could be on a play, he could do what the hell he wants to do. I mean, you know, as as you're an A-lister, don't mean you ain't supposed to be doing no ain't doing media. That's what hey podcasts, everybody go on there. That's that's where everybody goes to right now. That's that's the go-to. Uh Julia Simmons is here, DJ Pharrell 800 is here. Shout out to DJ Peril 800. Um is DJ for real 800? Yeah, DJ Forrell, he's here. Yeah, and shout out to everybody that believes in DeSell. Now, before we get into the fabulous show, if you get in this music industry, you gotta understand something. You need to have a legacy. Fabulous has been out for a long time. Fabulous, I've been hearing about fabulous back in the late 90s, doing a lot of freestyles, you know, doing a lot of shit with Jay-Z, a lot of shit with DJ Clue when Clue was getting on the map. Actually, I'm gonna be honest. Clue was working. Clue, if y'all not from up north, you didn't know, uh, you do know, or you, you know, fell up for rock somewhere. Before Clue went to Des Desert Storm, started Desert Storm, he had a lot of rappers that he was breaking. And Fabulous is one of the rappers that flew Clue actually took under his wing. You know how DJ drama, you know, it was a clue before it was a DJ drama. I need to do an Untold Stories on DJ Clue. I don't know. We we you know, we're gonna have to do that. But before I do Clue, I had to do Ron G. Well, with Clue and Ron G, I gotta do Ron Ron G. I will have to do S and S. I will have definitely have to do um Kid Capri. So I, you know, when I do the Untold Stories, I gotta do all the pioneers that started it before DJ Clue. Now Clue been around now. Clue put in his work with Rough Riders, with uh the Rockefeller. Clue put in some work. So let's talk about Fablis. So Fabulous and Clue pretty much pretty much came in the ranks together. I said Clue pretty much helped Fabulous get to where he's at. And people say, nah, Fabulous would do Fabulus was doing freestyles, but DJ Crew Clue, DJ Clue made sure Fabulous was on all the hot shit. Actually, Fabulous was signed to DJ Clue, CX1 DJ's untold stories to Fabulous. He was signed to Desert Storm way before he got anything with Def Jam and uh any other Rock Nation, Rockefeller. You know, he was signed to Desert Storm. A lot of people didn't know that. Fabulous was clue artists. You gotta have a DJ to break your ass out. It wasn't no, it wasn't no DJ clue, you might say. It wasn't no clue, it wouldn't be no fabulous. Fabulous was a dope artist, but back in them days, back in the 90s, early, late 90s, like 98, 97, 97, 98, 99, Clue was promoting Fabulous. I remember when I was in New York, uh uh this early days. I'm gonna tell you it was 1995 when I first met DJ Clue and he had Fabulous with him, and Fabulous looked like he was straight off the block. He had the chip tooth. That's the shit he got fixed. I wouldn't, if I wasn't him, I wouldn't have got the chip tooth fixed. That was the signature. But he got the chip tooth fixed, and no one gave a fuck about the chip tooth. They cared about his lyrical ability, and he definitely had that. Fabulous is one of the lyrics, well, he still is. But now you got all the younger people that's that's hitting it, hitting the game now, people thinking that Fablis fell off. So we're gonna get right into the untold stories of Fablis. Fabulous was definitely an artist that was unsung, and he was ahead of his time. That's the word I want to look for. You you ever you ever been ahead of your time? Like you you in this game, but you you you ahead of your time, like you doing some shit that's timeless. And I gotta figure this fucking mic stand out. Shit. I gotta make sure it's it's the way I like it. I'm out there. So when you ahead of your time, it's like you're your your lyrics is timeless. Like the shit can last forever. You know what I'm saying? As in whatever you say is like what I mean last byever, like 2026, keeping the gangster is still hot. A lot of a lot of the fabulous music, if you play it now, it's still hot. Like I can I can enjoy, I can respect his music. Like some people from the his music, his music don't sound outdated. So I figured Untold Story on Fabulous would be perfect. This is why me and my team put it together. Shout out to uh chad from iHeart Media and Julius Simmons and everybody else that made it possible. So 80 80 85, not 85, 95, I met Fabulous in New York at an industry event. It was um done by uh Hot 97, and uh it was done by Hot 97, and I gotta turn this phone off. What the who the hell's going on? It was done by hot 97, and it was definitely a dope event. And fabulous was up and coming. We talk about 1995, and you had DJ Clue, you had SDJ S Ness, you had Ron G, you had Kick. It was a lot of people at this event because the Hot 97 was doing some shit. And of course, the DJ on the Wheels of Steel was for Master Flex. So Flex was the DJ, but and Flex had a lot to do with a lot of artists coming out of New York. But at that time, in the in the '95, '96, '97, '98, DJ Clue was the man in New York. And he was on hot 97. He was, when I say he was the you could not Clue pretty much, you had you had Clue, you had DJ uh from Master Flex. You had a, but Clue, he dominated that, didn't he got on MTV? I'm talking about DJ Clue. We gotta, we can't not talk about Fabulous without talking about DJ Clue. Just like talking about Butter Rock without talking about Punkin' Foot. You can't, it's like I'm I'm I'm Punkin' Foot's DJ, I'm Punkinfoot's manager, my artist punkin' foot. We'll talk about her in a minute. Um, you can't bring her up without bringing me up because it makes no sense. Like, you can't bring Fabulous up without bringing up DJ Clue. And what I do not do not like about artists, and I'm not just saying this about Fabulous, I ain't saying Fabulous do this because he do pay homage to DJ Clue. He never said nothing bad about DJ Clue or nothing like that. But I I do hate when artists come up and they forget the DJ that bring them in. I ain't talking about the manager, I'm talking about the DJ. Back in the back in the 90s, late 90s, and late 80s, the DJs was introducing the records, not the artists. Now the artists want to be the star. Like they want to give props to the DJ, they want to give props to the producer. The DJs always break records like we're breaking records now. Like I continue to rebirth people. Like I when I was doing this Untold Stories, people like who fabulous fabulous. A lot of the young people just know him from the podcast. They don't know Fabulous was a it still is a dope ass rapper. When they saw Fabulous rapping this in 50 Cent, they just thought that was some shit for the podcast. A lot of these young heads don't that's not really gonna do their research, don't know Fablis was a damn rapper that came from the 90s, late 90s, all the way up to the 2000s. He came in, he came in the door with the rock Def Jam, Def Damn Der Def Jam, Desert Storm, Rockefeller, Rock Nation. He came in that that era. Fablis came from that era. I know a lot of people don't know. Fablis came from the Rockefeller, Def Jam, uh, Desert Storm. All the mixed, all this shit with DJ Clue, all this shit with uh uh Rockefeller. He they he falls under that. But but Fabulous like me like when as he was coming up, he's like, Yeah, I don't want to, I don't wanna, I want everybody thinking I'm just a hundred percent Rockefeller. Uh uh uh I'm I'm Desert Storm. But you can't be Desert Storm without mentioning DJ Clue. Shout out to T Cap. You have to you have to acknowledge and respect that it wasn't for DJ Clue, it won't be no fabulous. And I got my FIFA shirt on, so shout out to FIFA out here in Atlanta. Uh yeah. I want everybody to understand you gotta y'all gotta respect the DJs that put you in fucking position. And uh we will be doing the untold stories on DJ Clue, but uh, we gotta do a whole bunch of other DJs before we get to DJ Clue. And we will be paying homage to all my pioneers and all my legend DJs, their CX1 DJs, untold stories. We'll be giving you flowers and and and telling your story because a lot of people uh they do documentaries, but they don't tell a story of the artists. And that's one thing we're gonna capitalize off of doing untold stories. We are not trying to be like Jane Champs, drink champs. We're not trying to be like nobody else that got a platform that they giving flowers or getting fucked. You know, we're not gonna be here getting high. We don't do we don't get high, so we're not gonna do that. And we will be we we'll be opening up the platform on all our untold stories to play independent artist music. Shout out to Chad for our media, and we will be doing some interviews when we go to two hours. We're gonna be going to two hours in two weeks, and then we're gonna be open up the platform to any underground artists that have they they uh appetized budget to get on here, and we'll be every day we do untold stories, we will interview artists and play the music. We will bring the artists on and we'll interview interview them and um move on, and that will be on untold stories, and the fee for that is 250, 250 to do that, and no discounts, no brotherly love, no sisterly love. It's 250 to have an interview on uh any eye shows. And it's uh it it will be when we we're not gonna do no special show. We you know, we give you the date we got open. We it's it's either you can pick up what day you want to do. We do Sunday through Thursday, period. And it's gonna be eight, it's gonna start in two weeks. We're gonna promote this so all you underground artists can get the promotion you need, and we make sure whatever whatever untold story artists we do and if it fits your music, you can appetise or you know, it's it's I'm bringing I'm gonna bring more promotion and exposure to the independent artists because when we do these untold stories, I'm gonna want you guys to understand this. Every major artist or major indie artist we do untold stories on, they people and they record company looks at the thing. So it's something that you want to do. And me and Chad said, um, well, I actually forfeit this. Chad didn't want to do it. He like, nah, these these people don't. It's not about y'all promoting, but when you pay $250, I guarantee you you're gonna promote. When it's when this shit is free, niggas don't think they got nothing to do. We ain't no nobody would get on this platform no more for free. It's because when it's I'm gonna tell y'all something. When it's free, it's no value of you promoting or you taking it seriously, or you really understanding that this is something that benefits your career. But when you pay for something, well, I did have people that pay for some shit. They ain't they don't promote, they don't do nothing. But uh, when you pay for something, normally you you're gonna be invested in what the hell you paid for. So it was starting two weeks, and now our time will be changing from 8 p.m. East Coast time to 10 p.m. East Coast time in two weeks. Uh, give give us time to promote it. I'm waiting on a flyer to come for my. We have uh people that do our flyers, uh uh uh template flyers for untold stories, and then we got our major flyers like the shit we you know. Y'all can tell the difference. We got the 10 plate flyers for the untold stories, which they still look good. Then we got the major flyers. See, we had a team that rolled out that major flyer. Back to Fablis. So Fablis was uh was the MC. He was a battle rapper. He he was battling before everybody caught on to the the the that he was doing the smack DVDs, uh Freestyle Fridays on 106 park, uh the Big Tigger, Rap City. This guy was doing so much shit that Fabulous need to have. I mean, he's underrated. A lot of people don't he's an A-lister. So you like so hold on, how is he the underrated and he's an A-lister? Like, he's not getting the lyrical, like the lyrical lyrical shit, nobody gives a fuck about that. Now it's about making trend records. That lyrical, lyrical shit don't really work no more. It's about having trend records that's trending. Fabulous. He had cupping cupping season. I spoke to his people. The cupping season record came from Instagram, TikTok, just throwing records out there. So you gotta throw records out there, and he did cup of season, it was a whole project. And um, and that that that e that that EP he did was dope, but he pitted out like a mixtape. So he missed Fabulous, missed the opportunity of I'm quite sure he sold some of it, but it was more promo. So when he when you know it was a promo album slash EP slash mixtape. A lot of these rappers, like Fabulous, they're so lyrical and so dope, don't know which one is the single, which one could be the uh the breakout record. They're uh put out an EP slash mixtape and call it a mixtape. Reality is it is an EP. Now, of course I'm a DJ, so we got that shit for free. We ain't had to pay for it. But I I saw it on Dad Piff at the time when Dad Piff was open up. It's no more dat piff. It also was on the cover season project, it was also on um live mixtapes. But I I really feel, and I'm gonna say this because I love fabulous, and I know he watching. If he ain't watching now, he will be watching. I ain't gonna say fabulous. Whoever was over that project dropped the ball because I really believe that could have been an album. And they dropped the ball because a lot of people got that shit for free. And you know, there was big enough. Oh, we stream it on this, this site, that site. The coven season project was a dope ass project. I had it. Most of my DJs had it. These hoes keep calling, I ain't pick it up. That shit was fire. That was that was fire back when he put it out. I'm gonna give him that. The beat was fire. He put it out in the winter. They pit it out like the end of the winter. It was going into the spring, it like it's going to the second quarter when it's getting kind of warm. But it when it came out, it was cold, but it wasn't cold. So they kind of fucked up the timing when they dropped that project as well. So fabulous. You listen to DJ Barter Rock, you know I'm an independent record promoter. So I promote records, you know that you your team know that. So, what I'm trying to do, this untold story, I'm gonna tell people what to do and not to do. And I love Fabulous and I love his music, but I, you know, I had to, I couldn't wait to do this to explain as me being a fan and me being an independent record promoter, me being the DJ. I think a lot of artists that's A-lister, like Fabulous is an A-list artist. I don't care what anybody say they might say that he's a C D. No, Fabulous is an A-list artist. Ain't no place that I saw Fabulous book to that wasn't packed. He he did shit with my guy AFR Sharper. He uh he did shit with goddamn Alex from the compound AG Entertainment. He did shit with a lot of promoters that I know personally, and every time they booked Fabulous, all the bitches came out. I never saw an empty show with Fabless. Never. And he was by himself, he didn't bring up he it wasn't fabulous and then 10 other people on the ticket. It was just fabulous. You could actually book fabulous and get and get a good turnout. So when Fabulous got on the scene, like I said, in 95, 96, 97, 97, once Clue heated him up. Clue said, like, Clue, like, yo, I gotta pin a much heat myself up first. Clue dropped all the Desert Star mixtapes. He made sure Fabulous was on every mixtape. So when a person says, Oh, he lyrically, he brung, he, he clue don't don't shoot me. Fabulous made the DJ Clue tapes, CX1 DJs, untold stories of fabulous. I used to go download and go to the store to buy any of them Desert Storms, Volume 1, uh, all the Desert Storm mixtapes just to hear Fabulous. And I'm a fucking DJ. Back in them days, they would they was no mixtape websites back in the 90s now. Back in the late 90s, 89. I mean 99, 98, it was no mixtape websites. You had to go buy the Full Master Flex Big Truck Series mixtapes, you had to buy the Desert Storm mixtapes, any mixtape that was popular that was powered by the record company, because you gotta know Rockefeller was paying out all DJ Clue stuff. Before ever was a goddamn fabulous that got signed with Def Jam slash Rockefeller slash Desert Storm, it was it was DJ Clue building him up as an artist. When you come in this game, it's two ways you could come in here. You could come in like JD Kissing the Locks, freestyling, rapping, killing niggas, beating niggas ass on beats, or you want to come in here as an A-less artist. DJ Clue said, Alright, I got Fabulous. Fabulous said, real words, y'all. You know, we talk to people, I got DJ Clue. So we put the both together, we're gonna have a platinum situation going on. At the time, this is before the money. So he had the chip teeth. Um that was still in the streets quarter to him. I don't know what the fuck Fabulous was doing. I was not in Brooklyn while he was slinging the chickens and then DA and everybody watching them. That came from Fabulous. But what I will say this, you cannot take credit from DJ Clue or Fabulous. You got to give them both credit. I think both parties equally benefit each other. I don't think it would have been a DJ Clue without Fabulous. I don't think it would be a damn fabulous without a DJ Clue. And some people uh I spoke to a lot because when we Doing this behind the scenes, a lot of girls was like, Yeah, Fablis ain't need him, girl. He ain't need him, you know. I was like, Yeah, Fablis needed Clue. Clue was on fire. And I'm gonna stay on that. Clue complimented every lyric. His drops, the beats that he played, but on top of that, Fablis made sure anytime he rapped, he represented Desert Storm. You gotta represent your label, your management company, whoever pitting your position. Because if you go out there rapping some bullshit, you represent Desert Storm, you represent Rockefeller, you represent Def Jam Records. Fab said, hey, when he got in there, he said, Man, I'm trying to win. I'm trying to get out of Brooklyn, I'm trying to get out of the situation, I'm trying to go up because I'm better than all these niggas. And I came up came from Fabulous, CX1 DJs. Untold stories are fabulous. Fabulous was in a competition. This is untold story. This is some information you all the fucking bloggers can't steal. Let me do my copyright acclaimer. So you know, anything I say on this program is true, 100% true. Is given to us by our research, IPRs, our journalists, and any other blogger stealing any words to check my videos or switch my words up, or we will go after you legally. So let me get to a uh IEO that you niggas don't know. CX1 DJs, untold stories on Fabulous. So Fabulous pretty much said when he got with Desert Storm, I'm better than everybody on Desert Storm. And I ain't gonna say no other names that was on Desert Storm. Y'all can look it up. It was Clue had a lot of artists with him. Clue was breaking a lot of people, just like Femaster Flex. But one thing I'm gonna give DJ Clue. DJ Clue broke more artists than Fumaster Flex in that era. Fabulous, he liked Fabulous is my go-to guy. Fabulous is the one that's gonna take it to the top. And Clue said this. He said and then and Fab said, yo, man, I'm gonna take you to the top. Fab told that to DJ Clue. Yeah, you saying it's me, nah. You know, they used to joke around back in the day, like, yo, no, it's gonna be me, they take you. And I don't give a fuck how I went there, but went there. Once Fablis came there with them dope ass raps, the uncut, you know, the way he presented himself, he did bring the hip-hop shit to another level back in '95, '96. I heard, like I said, I first met Fablis for you niggas that joined us in '95 at a big radio event when hot '97 in New York in 1995. Fablis was young, he was hungry, he was hungry. I ain't gonna say dusty. I can tell he was getting money in the streets. Uh, we won't say dusty, but he his teeth wasn't fixed. And he definitely was hungry when he got on that mic. You knew damn well he meant business. And when you you when you trying to come and get away from certain shit, I'm gonna tell you something else about Fabulous. Fabulous was getting money earlier. Earlier, he didn't need the record deal to get money. Pretty much, it was more about fame and the bitches and and and popularity and proving to the world that he can take DJ Clue and Desert Storm out of here, which he did do. So I I am gonna do an untold stories on Clue, but we're gonna, we're gonna tap in more on Fabulous, but but people, all my all my young people that like yo butterrock, who the fuck is fabulous? We all we know him from being over there with Davies on the podcast. They didn't know this dude is a legend, a legend in his own right that's been in the game since the late 90s. Everybody saw Fabulous when he came out in 2000, when he got his record deal with Def Jam, and then he came out with his project in 2002 and 3. Y'all thinking fabulous fabulous been out in the late 90s. CX1 DJ's Untold Stories of Fabulous. So I wanna I want to educate you. That's what Untold Stories is about. Untold stories means some of you young people don't know. Fabulous is not just from a podcast, he's not just somebody that made a diss record dissing 50 Cent when they was dissing Jim Jones and Dave East and all that. He is an actual A-list artist that's been in the game for over 30 years. So get at my let's give him some love. I'm gonna I'm gonna collapse. Yeah, so let's get back to it. So let me give you the IO for all you niggas to try to steal. So CX1 DJ's untold story of Fabulous. Man, give you untold stories. Fabulous told DJ Clue, I'm better than everybody on your fucking roster. DJ Clue bust up laughing in the studio. He said, Man, I like young nigga. He like, I'm the best at everybody. He said he was thinking about saying he's better than DMX, he's better than Jay-Z. He better than goddamn Beanie Seagull. This nigga said he was better than everybody. You gotta understand all them niggas came from Desert Storm. Beanie, beanie, beanie, Beanie Siegel and uh uh Freeway, all them niggas was under Desert Storm. You niggas don't, but you niggas that don't understand that. Desert Storm pretty much was the DJ coalition, the the fucking marketing company, the fucking the the way when you get signed to Rockefeller, they all magly pitch you the DJ Clue. I'm educating you niggas today. I didn't even play around it. I didn't even play no music. I just went right into it because this there's something I need to educate everybody. You had to be back in the 90s, you had to be introduced. You could you couldn't just jump on the scene like a lot of people go on social media and make an introduction of themselves or try to go viral. Back then, you had to be introduced. It was levels of this shit. And the the Desert Storm and going through DJ Clue and all that kind of shit, due to Rock Nation. I mean, it wasn't a Rock Nation, it was Rockefeller. Dude, the Rockefeller system pretty much is a former artist development. And Fablis said, I'm betting all you know motherfuckers, the niggas from Philly, the niggas in and and and and then he had to prove himself. Because uh I'm gonna tell you another untold story. Uh he actually said that a lot of them motherfuckers, he Jay-Z heard it. Jigger, like, man, whatever, this young nigga. I so at the at the time when Fablis got his deal, thank, thank God for Fabulous, because Jay-Z heard what he said, because Jay-Z was in another part of the studio. CX1 DG's untold stories of fabulous. So it kind of helped Fab that everybody, you know, people that's in position now was not in position then when he was arrogant and cocky. When you when he was younger, too. When you young, you like, yo, I can make it. I'm I'm I'm you know, I'm better than all you niggas. That sounds cool, but that's how it was in New York. You know, you you you like you you gotta be say you better than the next nigga. It's premium, you if you're not saying you better than somebody, there's something wrong with you, nigga. So he was very confident in himself. But confidence sometimes make niggas hate on you. So when niggas hate on you, it it could go a whole nother way. So Fab has something to prove. So he kept doing the records, he came out, he did all the mixtapes. Everybody, if you know that if you go back and listen to any of DJ Clue mixtapes, Fabulous was ever, he wasn't number one. The first song on the shit, he was number four. He was never down the list. When you doing, when you even now in 2026, if I'm doing a mixtape or a project, if I have your ass on the bottom of the list, that means your record ain't hitting on shit, or you ain't paying up money, or I don't really fucking like you. The first five songs is the bangers. Everything after five is the mediocre shit, and then as you go down the list to like the 15, 6, 8, then, nigga, that record's that nigga. You just a you just an album fuller, nigga. I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be respectful with a lot of artists. I say for one to ten, after ten, nigga, you just an album fuller. Damn, butter, I don't you got an album coming. Yeah, I do. I'm just gonna be honest. I tell people to first come, first serve. If you take all day getting on a fucking project, nigga, your shit gonna be in the order. You ever heard your your callers and the order that look at my feet and shit. Yo, your callers and the order haven't been received. So if you the last motherfucker calling, or you the last nigga at the door, or you the last nigga getting in, nigga, you gonna be last on every damn thing. And that's how I use life. That's why I try to be places early. Back to Fablis. He proved himself. Def Jam signed him. Um, Def Jam gave uh Desert Storm a rec uh uh uh distribution with Rockefeller. They picked Fabless was the first artist out on Desert Storm. But ladies and gentlemen, you need to know that. Don't give a fuck what it's on Wikipedia. I got that. We're doing the show. We got talk to Fabless people. We got we got all the shit from Dev Jam. You know, we got Dev Jam in our back pocket. We know what the fuck's going on. So he made he all his songs when gold, platinum, fabulous was a household name. B.T. Awards 2000. Uh he came back and hit him and hit him in the head in 2001, 2002, 2003. Fabulous was a nigga. All the hoes want to fuck Fabulous. The hoes want to fuck him now. We just talking about back in the early 2000s. You couldn't turn on a radio without him fabulous. And fabulous burned up the fucking years, even up to now. Fabulous is still a man. He probably now he probably backed away from that red hip-hop shit, and people gotta do, you know, he cost when he did the shit with Neo.

SPEAKER_01

And then posting down the states, I'm gonna call send me better. You know, I'm excuse me, I'm doing good all by myself. Oh you make me better, you make me better. He the man. And I really think now this is it, now Fabulous, don't take this the wrong way. Get my shit together. I had to sing Neo part. Don't take this the wrong way, Fabulous. I think some people that jump to podcasts could pollute the day star. Everybody can't do podcasts, Fables. And I love you. But I what I'm saying is you are lyrics, is you are artists. I want to see your ass on tour. Not sitting over there with Davies and them other niggas. And I love all them niggas on that podcast. But I'm just saying, you are an A-less artist. I'm an independent record promoter, slash I'm a DJ. I've been DJ since 1988. All right, so I know about music. I know about hip hop, and I know about I know how hard it took you to get in a position, Fabless. I gotta say, y'all remember when I ain't yo, we was struggling and you brought some fucking lemonade for me, man. Yo, I do remember that, buddy Rock. Yeah, yo, shit wasn't hitting on shit, but we was on there all night until you was done, nigga. Yeah, cuz. Now what you need? Man, buddy, I'm fucked up, man. I need about $30,000. I got 30 million. I could give you 30,000 because you was there. We ain't had shit, Low. Y'all better pay attention to what the fuck I'm saying. I don't want that shit going on nobody's head. But nigga, I'll get you lemonade, nigga. You asking for more money for some more lemonade. Yeah, nigga. Because when them fucking, when them when that when the shit blows, you supposed to be with me, niggas. I can't afford no more lemonade. Then when they see the lemonade truck is uh turn into a lemonade organization. Or a lemonade goddamn stand that you gotta stand in, a lemonade stand in dirty states. And some people think, nigga, I was there when you built their lemonade. Oh nigga, I know that you brought one lemonade. Shut the fuck out. It's a real story. This podcast is brand new. My brother T Cap says, buddy, you got it, man. You got it in here, my brother. Get it, do it. I like, man, shit, that was gonna take a whole lot of money, time. But I gotta, you know, so I call my investors. They're like, yo, yeah, let's do it. Okay, what are we gonna do? So I start doing interviews with motherfuckers. And then I said, Yeah, yeah, that worked out. But see, one thing about it, a lot of these underground artists didn't understand. Listen to me, while I'm waiting on a fabulous video. These underground artists didn't understand love. They do it today was helping me. Nigga. I've been doing this shit since 1985. You think you helping me, bitch? Bitches? Let me think about it, motherfucking bitch. I put the right season on this motherfucker. So niggas thought I was helping them. They was helping me. I had some artists get on my podcast and walk off to use the bathroom.

SPEAKER_01

Like, what the fuck are you doing, nigga? This is your brand, nigga. I'm promoting you, motherfucker.

SPEAKER_11

Go take a shit. Well, I ain't gonna say they took a shit, but went to go take a smoke break piss and all right, nigga. I would never interview that motherfucker again. That was in the beginning stage, but we were still hot at the time. I'm butter out, nigga. What the fuck? I'll make everything. Even if it's some little shit like we was building, we nowhere, we was nowhere near how we is now. This pre-Chad, this pre-disc distribution. We got major distribution now. We ain't have none of that shit. All we had was YouTube and Facebook and Instagram. That was it. We only had, I could bring up some old flyers that we did back in the beginning. We had three fucking platforms on a flyer. It was Instagram, Facebook, and goddamn YouTube. That was it. Oh, we had X. We had two, we had X too. We had four. Nigga, we went from four, listen to camera one. We went from four platforms to goddamn 4,000 platforms now. We did that less. We started October 30th, November, December, January, February, March, April, May. We did that less than eight months. Imagine if we here for 10 years or five years. Nigga, we gonna take over. I wanna thank T Cap. I don't know if he left, he probably gone. I don't know where he had, but I want to thank thank T Cap for telling me I could do it. He believed in me because he knows he saw me from the podcast. I mean the conference calls. And um, but I'm gonna I'm gonna also tell T-Cap everybody else that's on here. I still need y'all's support. I still need Johnny to tell people to subscribe, like, share. We still need the support. I don't give a fuck if I got an army with me. If a person says they don't still need support, they lying to you. We still need everybody's support. And some of you major artists, when we doing these shows, it do help motherfuckers if y'all can post a flyer, nigga. We giving you flowers, nigga. I'm not talking to fabulous. I'm talking to everybody, including fabulous. Post the shit, nigga. We giving you, we paying homage and giving you a platform for the younger people that watch us. I don't give a fuck if it's 20. This when people kill me. That's a little platform. I ain't gonna support that. Nigga. Every platform, if you get 20, if you get 10 people that never heard of you, nigga, that's 10 people that's gonna look you up and see who the fuck you are. And I want to shout out to DevChain Records, because they always fuck with me hard. I'm gonna shout out to Desert Storm. I'm gonna shout out to fabulous people. I'm gonna say we can't make the artists, the artist artists do anything. But I'm gonna say this one thing about the artists, artists, they do watch our shit. Check this out. Like Young and May people was watching our shit yesterday. Shout out to Young and May. Um we it's not just for views, it's for exposure for you, not just us, and it's education for the people that never heard of you ever in life. Take it, take it as an it's we it's it's it's educational for those that never heard of you. So the the CX1 DJ's We Do Thing Tipping Podcast is something that I love. And Untold Stories is my series, my original series that we are never gonna stop. And I'm just gonna I'm gonna I wanna thank because I can't not do this without thanking TCAP because at first I wasn't gonna do this shit. So I still gotta thank TCAP, but I'm still gonna tell everybody and DJ Money and everybody else. I still need y'all to get your friends and family to like, share, subscribe. And if everybody can do me one favor, everybody else on here, can you go and like the video? The video, it brings the video to algorithm. Can y'all at least hit like on the video, please? On this video. And and fabulous, when you hear this, do me a favor, man. Go to my page, repost some shit with your picture on it. Show people that you actually give a fuck about people that's paying you homage. Because we fuck with you, fabulous, and and I don't know what the hell's wrong with this upload shit. And your video that your people sent us is taking all day. But we know what, fabulous. Being I know your people sent it to us, we're gonna take our time. We're not gonna rush the show. We're gonna wait for your video that we put together with the videos you sent us to play, your people did, and we're gonna actually um we're not gonna rush nothing. But uh, while we waiting on Fabulous video to upload, let's talk about Punkerfoot. Yeah. Why the hell is she always do double?

unknown

All right.

SPEAKER_11

Let's talk about Punkerfoot the Panty Girl. So Punkerfoot the Panty Girl. Let's just get into this. Cause I I wanna why his video is uploading. Young chocolate and gifted. This project right here is one of her biggest projects. I don't want, I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna cover me. I don't want y'all looking at me. Y'all can look at Punkerfoot and Fabulous. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Here you go. Oh, I'm gonna pin away. You're gonna have to look at me. Because I yeah, I don't want to cover the other thing. So Punkin for the Panty Girl is my artist, underground artist been doing this shit since 2008, since a very tender age of 18. And um, she got a new project we're doing, and we got a bunch of singles we're gonna be pinning out. The name of this is Young Chocolate and Gifted. And this is a big project. Uh, it's done by uh Chad from R Hard Media, it's one of the one of the uh executive producers, me, of course, DJ Butterock, um uh Bill Watson, Troy Wallace, and who else is on it? Julius Simmons and a couple other people that's gonna be working on this project. Now, I'm gonna I'm gonna keep y'all while we wait on Fabulous Video to upload. The whole point of keep pitting out EPs underground is the some of the new people. You some of the new people that probably don't know who punk of is. So you have the new young, you have the all the girls that's out here doing their shit. And I'm gonna tell you about this. Still gonna be sexy, still gonna be raunchy, still gonna be some songs, still gonna be ratchet, it's still gonna be clutch. But when we do all that, punk is her own person, so it's gonna be classy. It's gonna be the regular funny punk shit. You know, punk of is punk of. She's gonna be like if you look at Shake Your Body, that's that's Punker Put. So we're not changing her as a person. Actually, this album, EP, will be more mature as an more of the older generation was gonna be able to will definitely be able to get into it, just like we did, we remixed Heartbeat. It's gonna have more of them musical world songs on this particular project. So it's gonna cater to the young people, and then we're gonna have one part of this album catered to the older, like 50 plus, like 35 plus. So this is gonna be a grown and sexy album, but it we also gonna we're gonna hit all ages from I say 13 all the way up to 70. Yeah, damn. This project, and we taking our time working on it. So I want everybody to understand, look at that album cover slash EP cover, uh, punk it with the panty girl, young chocolate, and gifted. That will be coming soon. Um, me and me and Chad from iHeart Media was pretty much um like saying we gotta get this project out soon. So it's not it's not gonna take all day. So we are starting promotion, and personally, I I I prefer this album to be out this year. Uh I want it to be out this year. Um, and then I thought I said, No, we should put the album EP out first, then drop all the singles after the album come, like the singles that's not on the album to get people confused and they'll buy the album thinking the singles is on the album. You might say, You leak it, you letting it back, you leaking them, you letting the cag out of the back. No, because you can also make a Deluxe uh Deluxe album. Same cover, same name, it just have more songs and they could buy they gotta buy it somewhere else. But it'd be the same project, but it would just have more bonus tracks on it. So I'm teaching you artists in independent record labels. That's how you need to do it. And um I know a lot of a lot of my friends that I know for years is about to retire or talking about retiring. I'm gonna tell you something. I will never do it. Uh Butter Rock ain't going. We we stay in here, man. And salute to everybody that's retiring, but I ain't we can't do it. I'm gonna tell you something. I know we get older and we feel this shit is taking forever, or no one's listening, but as long as I have a platform and if I fuck with you, your music would be played over here. But it'd be the music that we uh either, you know. I tell a person that but you ain't paying for it, it's the songs that we like. But um, it's definitely artists that I'm gonna be showing love to. If me and my team like your music, we always gonna play you over here. We always gonna show you some love. We always gonna uh uh acknowledge that you are on here, because if you take your time out of your day, we should play your music. I don't think it's fair for an artist to be on somebody's platform and the platform got the music, but they not playing the music. I think that's some selfish shit. We always gonna play TCAP, the songs that we like, of course. And um I'll tell a person it don't matter what song it is, as long as they fucking playing your shit. Like I I went to the store, right? This motherfucking this is the true story. And the guy said, Yo, go give me uh I want uh banana cake. I went to listen to this shit. This is this a real shit, man. I want y'all to listen to this shit. And my homegirl, I went inside the store and Kroger. My homegirl, I said, Yeah, where banana cake at? I gotta about get my get this this homeless guy a banana cake. She said, What? He said, What? He wanna how the fuck he homeless and he wanna be choosy about what the fuck he nigga give me give me any cake you find on this motherfucker. My homegirl had me laughing. She said, get that motherfucker, whatever you see. How the fuck he homeless and he begging for some shit and he getting some free shit and he wanna be goddamn choosy. Nigga, get that motherfucker. I'll bust out laughing at Kroger. Shout out to my homegirl. I ain't gonna say her name on it. She said, She's a supervisor. She said, but get that motherfucker that right there. She said, that's the same nigga in front of bag. I said, Yeah, but I was gonna get a nigga the banana cake because I'm a I'm a nice nigga. She said, Butter out. She said, that motherfucker begging, he wanna be goddamn choosy, he wanna be conservative, but what the fuck he wants? She I said, You right, you know what, you right. I brought that motherfucker a regular cake. He looked at me like, you say what I asked for nigga, it's free, motherfucker. The morning of the story is as long as I play your shit. No matter what song it is. I just want to say that. Because there's gonna be a lot of underground artists that I'm gonna be playing on here. And I'm gonna be showing love. The two artists that I'm breaking right here, that that that a lot of people don't agree with it, but I'm gonna break, I'm gonna break Punkerfoot and I'm gonna be breaking T Cow. But it's the songs that me and Chad like. And anybody else want to play anything. Any other artists, including Punkerfoot, want me to play something that's something that's not on my list, it's $250. Period. Other than that, let me play what the fuck I want to play, but I it's $250. But I I don't see me charging the people to put the songs I like. And if I if you come into my platform every damn week and you support me, I'm not gonna charge you to play the songs I like, or the songs Chad like, or the songs Miss Wilson like, you know what I'm saying? We ain't gonna do that. That's some corny shit. I'm not gonna do that. Even though I mean in the beginning we had to do it, but now we got a relationship, it might be. This is what I tell people. When you come to this platform, you have to understand there's other people watching. They don't gotta like Chad is running the uh the YouTube page, he's the moderator. But he what he ain't gonna do, he's not gonna curse nobody out, he ain't gonna talk shit like I do. Nobody on with CX1 would do what I do. I mean, I'm the owner of this shit. You know, it's it's it's rules and regulations. They'll just tell me that, you know, hey man, you gotta get into that. But uh, I want to thank DJ Money. I want to thank, hold on for a minute. I yeah, I want to thank DJ Money. I want to thank T Cap. I want to thank Julia Simmons. I definitely want to thank Lawania Wilson, my boo dang. I want to thank Punk for the Panty Girl, my artist that always holds me down, that always got my back, and make sure the Jones graphics and make not only Jones graphics, punk for me making sure it's good, her store she owned, just making sure her her music, her body, her health, everything stay in place so she we can have something to market. My artist, Punker for the Panty Girl, she's right there. I want to really give if y'all on YouTube, you can see the picture of her. She's very chocolate, very remarkable, and um, she's open up for any features. So fabulous. If you want to you got any shit you want to do with my artists, let's get it. So you can send your open verse, fabulous, to the this email I'm about to give you. It's gonna be Julia Simmons 646 at gmail.com. So fabulous. I know you're gonna listen to this shit later. I mean, because I know she's a good ass writer and she's a good ass rapper, and we she loves fabulous, but we just honestly I'm trying to be due to competition shit. Not no battle rap shit. I'm just saying we're gonna y'all gonna do a song, and I guarantee your people gonna love it. And if y'all love it, y'all can keep all the publishing fabulous. Yeah. Challenge fabulous.
