54. “On Principal” Part B: Chapters 5-8 by TheRedWulf & SlatesOwl

This week we started On Principal, written by TheRedWulf and read for us by SlatesOwl, and today we are continuing it. This fic is sixteen chapters of fluffy emotions and sexy times wherein last year, young twenty year-old Sansa Stark became the legal guardian of her three younger siblings, Arya, Bran, and Rickon, when their parents died suddenly. Unreliable elder brother Robb is no where to be found so when things get really tough, Sansa is forced to turn to someone who is willing to help: Arya’s high school principal, Stannis Baratheon. A mutual frustration over Arya’s misbehaviors grows into an alyship or a friendship, or dare we say something more?

To Recap Part A:
…in chapter 1: we met the main characters. Arya, the punk who consistently gets in trouble at school. Sansa, Arya’s elder sister and exasperated guardian. And Stannis, Arya’s principal who is trying to course correct her behavior.
…in chapter 2: Stannis answered Sansa’s last minute call and drove Arya home after a counseling session and was rewarded with a peek into the life of the Stark Family; love, heartbreak, and precarious circumstances.
…in chapter 3: Stark family cousin and adopted brother Jon Snow surprises Sansa and her younger siblings with a visit. They, with Principal Baratheon in tow, attend young Rickon’s grade school play before going out to Pizza Sam’s to celebrate.
…and in chapter 4: Jon and Arya carefully and mischievously plan an unexpected first date for Stannis and Sansa by abandoning their sister in the Pizza Sam’s parking lot. For the rest of the evening, they enjoyed a lovely walk through the Storm’s End Gardens.

This time in Part B…
…in Chapter 5: Jon offers to baby sit one more time before he leaves and uses the time to plot the future with Arya while Stannis and Sansa’s second date proves to be quite romantic.
…in Chapter 6: Arya willingly goes to Stannis’ office to warn him about Sansa’s upcoming birthday while Sansa helps her other siblings prepare for Halloween, opening the door into memories of her mother.
…in Chapter 7: At the end of a quiet but joyful birthday celebration, Sansa is forced to address some heavy feelings, all of which was interrupted by the unexpected arrival of Robb.
… and in Chapter 8: A Confrontation with wayward brother Robb, leaves Sansa overwhelmed with grief, though Stannis is there to hold her together. Despite this, Halloween celebrations are underway and they are ready to have fun.

This episode is rated something between PG and PG-13, meaning there are light suggestions and hints of what is just around the corner.
