Hi everyone, welcome to Seventh Health Astrology Podcast. I'm Heather, and I'm here to talk about the messy, beautiful, and sometimes exhausting world of relationships. Hi everyone, welcome back. Well, it's been a minute, hasn't it? Hey, so sorry. Listen, life seriously happened to me. I finished the toughest college semester of my life. Now, mind you, I don't do math, and I did, and yes, I passed, believe it or not. The math wasn't the monster, it was actually analyzing the data. But because of that, I had to put the podcast on pause. Between work and school, there just wasn't enough time in the day. And again, I apologize and thank you so much for all the people that have hung there with me. I just want to give a note that there's been construction going on across the street from my house, and I can't make it stop. It's so if you hear some things, I apologize. I will try to block it out the best I can, but no guarantee. I'm gonna start off a brand new series all about the elements in astrology. When we're understanding the elements in astrology, it's crucial for us to learn how these elements relate in our life and how they relate to others and how you are expressing yourself. Are you aggressive? Are you passive? Is your chart dominant in fire, earth, air, or water? Or just as importantly, what element are you missing? Okay, so astrology note here. If you are completely missing an element, let's say Earth, for an example, it means the houses holding Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn don't have any planets in those signs. They're just empty signs in houses. But, but, but, but don't think they're always empty. There is this thing called transits, and sometimes planets rent space in your house for a bit. Sometimes they teach you something. Sometimes they can be pesty guests who last for years. Sometimes they can be wonderful guests you don't want to say leave. Also, there is a thing called rulership. So whatever planet rules the sign is extremely important. I was told to look at the ruling planet as like the landlord of that sign and house. Okay? What sign and house the ruling planet is occupying will also activate those signs and those houses. So never ever fear that an empty house means that area of life is empty for you. Sometimes, depending on the planet that is occupying said empty house, can make that area of life pretty lively and pretty loud. Okay, back to the missing element of earth energy. This could be a person who maybe lacks a little bit of practicality and, you know, they're not very detailed. They might live in a total dream world. They can be the fly by the seat of the pants types of people instead of being, you know, organized. Does managing finances, checking bills, creating stability or thinking before reacting sound like a boar? Yeah, if that sounds about right, you may have a missing earth energy. Without that grounding earth element, they can be a bundle of flighty, forgetful, and slightly irresponsible energy. But here is the beautiful thing about astrology and the universe. We usually track the people who have that element we lack. I have a missing element myself, and guess what? Everyone in my inner circle is so dominant in that exact element that I am missing. I need those people in my life. You have no idea how much I need them. So it is really, really important when we're thinking about like our temperament, because that's really what the elements are about. They're they kind of tell us our temperament when it comes to stuff. Today we are starting with the fire element, and I'm going to start with the baby of the sign Aries and its ruler Mars. Before we start, let's think about fire for a second. Fire ignites. It isn't stagnant, no. Mm-mm. No. It moves and it moves fast. It feeds on oxygen and it forces its way through whatever direction it pleases. It's hot, fierce, dramatic, and it moves with force as the flames rise higher and higher. Now let's think of the fire energy and how you feel this energy running through you physically. One way is to think of your passions. How do you feel when you're passionate about something or someone? Think of when you first meet someone and you're attracted to them. Your heart begins to pound in your chest, right? And your body temperature rises and you're like, oh my gosh, I'm feeling so hot for this person. You're generating heat, yeah? That's fire energy. Or when you're pissed and you begin to feel angry, again, you feel that heat of your body rising, the blood pumping your heart, and even your head gets hot, right? That's the fire element running through your body. Also, fire is what drives you, what puts the heat under your ass to keep you moving forward, no matter how many times you fall. Fire gives you the courage to get your ass back up. Okay, because we all fall, right? We all have to fall in order for us to understand when something's kind of not working. Yeah. Because Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, it rules the physical body. Aries people can, you know, express themselves emotionally. They gesture, they talk loud, they're energetic people who run circles around you. They are assertive, they go after what they want, they initiate action. There is so much will, drive, and energy when it comes to how we psychologically use Mars and or Aries energy. Now I love focusing on the positive side of Mars and Aries because Mars is technically a malefic planet. It can be a tough planet to handle, especially if you're angry, sad, resentful, or depressed. It can affect you in a negative way, even if you are aware of that Mars energy, even if you're on your highest timeline. You know, you can know that Mars transit's coming, but you don't know how it's gonna hit you. You can just be prepared, right? I will talk about the positives and the shadow sides of Mars and Aries energy because one, especially the positive side, it doesn't get talked about enough. And if we are aware that we have this beautiful, strong Mars positive energy, we can tap into the possibilities of what courage, drive, and action can bring us. Many people are hurting and hurt people, hurt people. And that is that shadow side of Mars. I'm gonna begin with the positive side of Aries and Mars. It's masculine energy, and that has nothing to do with gender, it's just energy. I have a ton of masculine energy, but I'm also very girly. You know, we we have both energies and we just express them in different ways because they're in different signs. Okay. Fire, you know, Aries and Mars, it finds joy in the pursuit. Aries loves the thrill of a catch. Not necessarily the catch. Okay, gotta watch that, Aries. Aries fire brings romance, adventure, and need for change. Aries moves fast, doesn't hold grudges, and is incredibly self-driven, assertive, direct, and authentic. They are dynamically affectionate, fearfully loyal once they are committed, free-spirited, and pretty passionate. They are leaders, ambitious pioneers, they are fearless, confident, enthusiastic, optimistic people. Yes, you Aries are amazing. Mars also brings our sex drive, lust, and our libido and our willpower. Uh Mars is what turns us on. Mmm, yeah. Mars and Aries is raw animal instincts, willpower, and how we survive. Mars is courage and how we conquer what drives and forces us to initiate action in our lives. Mars knows what it wants and it knows how to get it. Okay. Saturn has a little bit more structure to stick with it. Mars and energy isn't known for sticking through something. They like to start things and then delegate the stuff to other people and then they bounce out. That's why they're great leaders, you know? They they lead people, they, they, they start the adventure, they start whatever it is that they need to do, and then other people help them finish it. That's Mars energy. But where there is light, there is always a shadow cast, right? The shadow in psychology represents our unconscious parts of ourselves, the traits, impulses, and desires that our ego represses or rejects. It's the side we don't see, which means it's exactly what we project onto other people. And we all project whether we realize it or not. When Mars and Aries slip into that shadow, we get impatience and impulsivity, aggression and self-centeredness, arguing, laziness, clumsiness, irritability. They can lack other people's opinions and viewpoints. Mars shadow can be violent tempers, physical abuse, relentlessness, rudeness, self-centered. You know, Mars likes to fight. Okay? Mars is also competitive in that energy can be used for good or bad. When Aries doesn't get their way, they can become temperamental, arrogant, dominating, and incredibly headstrong. And they can really hold on to rage. They like to be first, they need to win. And if Aries has Mercury conjunct squaring or opposing Mars, forget about tact. Okay? They can be blunt, like brutally blunt. They can lack effective communication and can ignore, like I said, other people's opinions and perspectives. Sometimes they can live by the motto, react first and then think later. Yeah. Yeah. It's probably why they get in trouble a lot. I mean, yeah. It's the it's the baby of the zodiac. I mean, they're learning, right? When we are unconscious of our triggers, we do react. And that Mars is pure reaction. Now, the shadow side, we can always reverse this energy, right? More of Mars Shadow can be expressed through conflict, tantrums, control, outright ruthlessness. Mars is pure me energy, and if used incorrectly, it causes damage. And remember, people, energy is a boomerang. What we put out will come back and hit us. Oh, yes, it does. I don't see karma as like that. That's just energy. Okay, call it karma if you want, but I look at it as just energy. The energy you put out is the energy you're gonna get back. Okay, think about that in your behavior. If you are an Aries and you find yourself struggling in your interpersonal relationships and communication, look to your opposite sign of Libra. Yeah, Libra. They've to find the balance. Look to see what house Libra's in. For example, let's say Libra's in the 11th house. You can look to your friends and see their viewpoints and perspectives without having to give your opinion or input. I know it's hard. I know it's so hard, but you can do it. If Libra is in the seventh house, you can learn from your partners. Libra in the sixth house, you can learn to find balance through your coworkers or by serving others. Let's get to the exciting part of the episode. Let's talk about Mars in love. Like I said, Mars rules sex, fornication, our libido, our sexuality. It is how we get turned on. Today I'm breaking down the Aries sun, moon, and rising and then how they show up in love. With all the keywords I have given you, you can find Aries in your chart or Mars in your chart, and you can use those same attributes, okay? That they they still apply. I like to think of your rising sign as how we view our reality. Okay. Aries risings has a raw, primal drive to it. They are energetic, assertive, enthusiastic, loud, often athletic, and can be natural leaders. They usually have an air of total confidence about them. Let's say you have recently met an Aries Rising and you think they're hot as hell and you want to take them out on a date. What would a perfect date be for an Aries rising type of person? You know, they need someone just as secure and upfront as they are. Be real, be truthful, and keep the excitement alive. Do not make them sit around all day. Ask them questions. Be interested and invested in them. Remember, Aries is me energy. And if you're not paying attention to them, they will find it elsewhere. Part of the date needs to be about them. Don't ignore an Aries. Also, remember, Aries likes a bit of competition. So you can give a little because if they like you, they will want to pursue you. So don't divulge everything on the first date. Keep them interested. Aries in love, they they do like to chase. They'd like that chase. Aries risings, they may rush in to chase someone who needs saving, play the hero, and then they'll get bored and zoom off to the next adventure. Stagnation is a fireball waiting to explode for an Aries. Keep the relationship on fire. They can burn out quickly. And they can be a bit bussy. So what is an Aries rising like in bed? You know, they want to take control and take the initiative, but they also want you to take action. Okay? Don't always let them be the initiator. They may make the first move since these people are incredibly bold and brave. Those are other Mars keywords that I may not have mentioned. Since Mars and Aries don't live in the past, they are all about the present moment. So feel them, taste them, touch them. They will love this. Mars also rules the head, so grabbing their face and kissing them hard will just drive them wild or caress their face and tell them how gorgeous they are. I mean, yeah, they'll love that. Their libido will be on fire and is strong and is always ready to go. Just remember, Aries likes competition. So be as assertive in bed as they are. Keep it exciting and new. If you are an Aries who is not aware of your wounds and slip into the shadow of Aries, this could be when things can go wrong. Remember, Aries is me energy, and when used correctly, it can be a wonderful thing, but when used for selfish reasons, it can go terribly wrong. Also, remember Aries needs change, not meaning people, but activities. Make sex fun and different and exciting, and you will have an amazing lover who is passionate and ready to go. And I mean who doesn't want that, right? Okay, Aries Sun in love. Okay, the sun is exalted in Aries, which means it does very, very well in the sign of Aries. The sun represents our vitality, identity, our ego, our purpose, our drive. An Aries son believes absolutely nothing is impossible. They are fiercely independent, but as the baby of the zodiac, they can get incredibly childish when they're in their shadow. For Aries sons, they are learning to become independent. So sometimes as we learn, we fall and we have to pick ourselves back up again. Give them some slack. It's a lifetime of learning for Aerie Sun. Let's say you caught the eye of an Aerie Sun and you want to ask them out. What would it be like? What would be the perfect date for them? First, avoid taking them to a dark, quiet movie theater where they can't move or talk. Instead, take them on a cute hike. You know, maybe take them on a cute, exciting hike. Not one where they're dying at the end, especially if they spend hours getting ready for you. Oh, no, no, no, no, don't do that. That'll just piss them off. Okay? And then you'll see the the nasty side of Aries. Or you two can explore a tiny new restaurant. You know, Aries likes new things. Look to see if there's anything new going on in town. Surprise them with something they haven't done before. But most importantly, expect an adventure or create an adventure for them. Or if they're not the adventurous type, because not all Aries are adventurous, ask them what ignites them and then listen. Also, shine a light on them. Make them feel they are number one. They like flirting, they are direct, they get straight to the point. Like, let's just take the clothes off kind of energy. Like, who's taking taking it slow and raiding around said no Aries ever, uh-uh? No, no. They also like spontaneous hookups and one night stands. So, yeah, Ariesun babies, wild you are. Let's say you love an Arieson. Remember, they're learning how to be courageous. They're learning how to become an Aries. They might ruffle some feathers along the way. They love hard and they go all in. Once they have decided to let you into their life, they will be loving and they will let you know it. Aries will want some control. And if this is you, Aries, look at your opposite sign of Libra and see where you can create some balance. Balancing can be hard for Aries, some people. Okay, we all know Aries, some people can have moods. Yep. So if you know this Aries son is in a grumpy mood, give them some space to release that energy. They bottle up, they will explode like a volcano. So give them some space and they will eventually come around. If they need you as the person to vent, let them. They need to release their anger or frustration. It'll be good for Aries and less slipping into that shadow energy. What are they like in bed? Well, they like to dominate. Aries sun can get irritable with passive partners. Sex needs to be hot. Remember, Aries is fire energy. Don't just lay there, give them some play. Again, Aries gets bored with the same old same, so mix it up. The sun in Aries may not have the confidence as the rising sign, but in time they will. Make them feel seen. They will probably like a little, you know, hair pull, if you know what I mean. They might even like a little spanky. Mm-hmm. Yep, they would like that. Maybe a little BDSM. You know, who knows? Hey, everybody likes what they like. No judgment here. They may not be into super foreplay because they are ready, you know? So if they are like the spanking type, they might be already spanking you before even the clothes come off. All right. There you go with your Mars. All right, moving on to Aries Moon lover. The moon rules our emotions and how we react to them. Because the moon changes signs every two and a half days, an Aries moon can be a little bit of an emotional roller coaster. Aries moon, people love intensely and passionately. They can be very connected to their mothers. They are proud, loud. They want to be the only person you're dating. Remember, Aries Me energy, an Aries moon, you do not want to cheat on. Aries cuts. Mars rules cutting and sharp objects. An Aries Moon, you know, you piss them off, they'll cut you right out. And when you disrespect an Aries moon, you will be cut out so fast you won't even realize it. They take commitment seriously because remember the Aries Me energy, right? And if an Aries accepts you into their heart, you are now a part of them. You break that up, and Aries will cut you out. Their survival is and always will be the self. Since their moon is in Aries, all key terms I gave you will be fueled by their emotion. They may not be the super cuddly person, but they connect intensely through physical attention. An Aries moon will let you know through their physical actions how they feel about you. They might have their love language might be touch. Now, let's say you've met this really hot person and you find out they're an Aries moon and you're like, yes, yes, I'm so ready for this ride. And you ask this person out on a date. What would the date be like? First of all, again, just like with the rest, ask them about themselves, make them feel wanted and heard. If they feel ignored, they'll remember that there are plenty of fish in the sea and do not have the patience to watch you swim back and forth. Aries is me energy, and I'm repeating this so it drives home. If you're not asking questions or showing interest, then that other fish swimming by will get their attention and they will replace you. Make them feel like they're the only person in your sight. Disrespect for an Aries placement is a big no no, and everyone has Aries placements. Everyone has Aries andor Mars in their chart. Look at your chart and see where Aries is occupying your chart, and that is the area of life you need to. So let's say it's in the 10th house. You could be someone who wants respect in your career, for example. In the 11th, you want respect from your friends and community. The fourth house, your family. The seventh house, your partners. Ninth or third could be your teachers. In love, they love deeply. Once they are in love, they will love you like themselves, but you need to give them space. Aries, anything cannot handle being smothered. When an Aries moon is hurt, they have full-blown adult temper tantrums. Also, trying to lock them down or control them, and don't even try it. They value their autonomy over everything. If you try to dominate them, they will cut you out so fast your head will spin. Remember, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut. Love them with everything and make them feel safe. And number one, and you will have a devoted, exciting lover. In bed, they need to be adored and complimented on how sexy and independent and successful they are. Aries is the body, so they need to know they are sexy and desired. Stroke their ego, and you will unlock one of the best lovers of your life. They may or may not be super dominant, like the sun or rising, but they will get bored if the sex is always the same. Sexual desire is a direct reflection of an Aries moon's current emotional state. So when they set their sights on you, it will be their mission to conquer that quest. Be vulnerable. That's a moon keyword. Being vulnerable to them will also turn on their libido. Aries moons differ a bit than the sun and rising, who like to dominate. An Aries moon loves when their partners take the reins and does nothing but adore them. They need to be craved. This will turn them on so much. I promise you. Aries moons need to feel wanted, secured, and needed by their partners. Again, make your Aries love number one. As you can see, there's a common theme is that Aries energy is driven, passionate, assertive, and a little self-centered and intensely focused on pursuing its desires. Aries love will need to be kept exciting and new. Date each other. If you're an Aries or you love an Aries, keep the passion and heat building. That fire will need tending. And it's when we forget to feed the fire that what happens? The heat burns out, right? The fire burns out. Think about that. Remember, we need to always keep the fire burning to keep the heat going. Yeah. And we've we fall on that. And it's nobody's fault that we fall on that. We just we just do. Okay. We all have Aries somewhere in our charts. Look to the houses that Mars occupies and the house that Aries occupies. This will show you where and how the energy is playing out in your life. As I've said in previous episodes, that these are the general attributes of an Aries and Mars energy. Aspects from other planets play a huge role in how these two energies are expressed. If you find that you lack drive and desire to pursue passions, you may have other planets that may be influencing that energy. Mars is in its fallen Libra, so Mars and Libra will not have that same expression. Mars and cancer is passive. You know, Mars is in detriment in Taurus. Taurus, for example, is slower energy. Taurus is grounding and Mars plows to whatever sign it's visiting. You can see how Mars energy in these signs do not express themselves in the same way. Mars and Pisces is another example. I love giving this example about Mars and Pisces. I say, Mars is like a fireball floating on top of the ocean. How much strength do you think that Mars fireball will have in the big humongous ocean?
