SPEAKER_07

Welcome to Cozy Midnight Collective. I'm Morgan.

SPEAKER_08

And I'm Lauren.

SPEAKER_07

And tonight we're descending further into the halls of Edgewood as we continue our four-part coverage of Play Nice by Rachel Harrison.

SPEAKER_08

Love that. Mm-hmm. It's so good. It's so good, you guys. Really good.

SPEAKER_07

Uh so um kind of wanted to do something a little bit different tonight and fun because I've been waiting for this package to come in the mail for six-ish months. Anyways, one of my favorite podcasts, if you know me, you'll know it's morbid, right? Love you, Ashley. Love you, Elena. Got it. But I ordered their tarot card and it arrived uh last night. And so I thought it would be really cool for me to shuffle the deck, pick a couple cards for you and me, and then we'll read it to you guys and see if it pertains to I don't know, anything that's going on in our lives now or the past or the future. I don't really know how it works, but it's fun. Yeah. So yeah. Why don't you want to read me and I'll read you? Sure. Okay. Are you okay to go first?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Um, have you done tarot card before?

SPEAKER_08

I've had my tarot read like one time, but I've never like done it? Never done it, no.

SPEAKER_07

Okay. So we just like shuffle real good. I will shuffle first and then I'll pick my cards. And then you you'll tell me what they read.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_07

And then you'll shuffle yours because it's like your I think that's how it works. Like your energy goes into. Goes into like what you're yeah. So it's not as simple as like spreading a mat. Well, I guess you could do that too, but we don't have that like large of a surface. So I just like split them a couple different ways. There's like no method to my madness. I'm just like, and then if it's upside down, keep it upside down. Because like there the card can be read two ways: right side up or um upside down. I'm gonna choose. I'm feeling that card. And this one. Okay, so this is the way, and then what you'll do, or I guess I can like so it'll be right side up. Right side up.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, there you go.

SPEAKER_07

And then you'll find whatever it is in there. And let's see. Let's see what it is. So this says, let's see. Yeah, they are super cool. Keep it weird, but not so weird that your tarot deck starts giving relationship advice to your plans. And then they sign the back of it. Anyways, these are so dope. Obviously, we're not sponsored by Morbid, but hey, that'd be cool. I mean, I know you guys have sponsors, but do you want to sponsor us? Okay, so Okay, what did I get? First, I got right side up, Ten of Wands. I don't know if you can see that. These are gorgeous, you guys. Right. They're like a dark green. Oh, but it's like better than dark green.

SPEAKER_05

It's like what's that color when we were coloring the epoxies?

SPEAKER_08

Like a hunter green, like a forest green moss. Type color moss.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, and it's gold with gold.

SPEAKER_07

Anyways. And then the other one's the four of cups.

SPEAKER_05

And they were both right side up. So, anyways, go ahead.

SPEAKER_08

Okay, so I have the Ten of Wands first upright. So responsibilities are heavy but manageable. Consider delegating or letting go of what isn't essential. Hard work will bring results.

SPEAKER_06

That could what the fuck couldn't be so more on point if you fucking paid you money to read that out loud. Okay, go ahead.

SPEAKER_08

And then you got the Four of Cups upright. Reflection is needed to see opportunities. Take a moment to reassess your feelings. That's good too.

SPEAKER_07

These are really good. Yeah. Okay. Okay. I like that. Okay. Yeah, I agree. That was right. That was great. I did Kennedy's earlier today.

SPEAKER_08

I got Ace of Pentacles and Wheel of Fortune. Both upright, I guess.

SPEAKER_07

Wheel of Fortune. Okay, so upright. An upright wheel means possibility and often for the better. Life changes and your outlook is improving. That being said, what goes around comes around. Expect to see people, habits, and other things from your past again. Decide if they deserve a place in your future.

SPEAKER_08

Okay.

SPEAKER_07

Have you been watching the live feed from NASA on Netflix? No, but I'm hearing really good. To the dark side of the moon yesterday. It was fucking wild. I mean, yeah, you couldn't see shit.

SPEAKER_08

I need to like it.

SPEAKER_07

And we've never been that far. We've never been on the dark side of the moon. So I was like, this is. And Kennedy was like, can we change it to da da da da? And me and Glenn are like, dude, this is literally history. Yeah. We are watching human humanity, it has never been this far, Kennedy. And we haven't been back to the moon for like 50 years.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

If we even went the first time, which I do not think we did.

SPEAKER_08

I feel like we did, but I feel like there's a reason why we haven't been back. Like you're telling me with all of the technology and stuff that we have now. Right. We haven't been back to the moon. Does it be the closest thing?

SPEAKER_07

There's also like the theory that we couldn't have gone to the moon and we could can't be out there right now because we can't actually break through Earth's orbit. It's too like strong to break through. Like it would just destroy everything that we have to like break through it.

SPEAKER_08

That's interesting. Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_07

Ace of Pentacle. Okay, sorry. That was like at the very end, upright. Yeah. Okay. New opportunities in work again. Not again, but again. Okay. New opportunities in work, health, or finance appear. Ground your plans for success. These are both really good for us.

SPEAKER_05

I like them. I like it.

SPEAKER_07

I like it. I like it. Thank you.

SPEAKER_08

Good.

SPEAKER_07

Way to go, morbid.

SPEAKER_08

Very good. And very pretty. They're very, very good.

SPEAKER_07

They're gorgeous. Worth the wait.

SPEAKER_08

Before we dive into the renovation chaos, a quick reminder. We are a full spoiler podcast. We use foul language, and because this is horror, we'll be discussing ghosts, demons, and some pretty visceral imagery. If those topics or a bit of gore aren't for you, we suggest you skip this one and join us for the next book.

SPEAKER_07

Yep, good idea. Uh last week we left Cleo reeling from her mother's annotations and that chilling childhood memory of Cleo speaking to the demon before bed. Tonight, things get much more physical. Let's dive in. Oh man. This book is so good, y'all. Like we I told Lauren the other day, I was like, I don't think I've ever had so many books read back to back to back to back that I have loved as much as I have loved everything we've read this year. And I'm so proud of us.

SPEAKER_08

I'm oh I will say with this book, I'm surprised at how many like genuine chills I've been getting from it. Obviously, like for me personally, with like a lot of horror books or even like movies or whatever. Movies or I get the chills from like visual stuff, right?

SPEAKER_07

I get it from auditory.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. Like, you know, yeah, like the like a good soundtrack, yeah, like the jump scare, like sound. But like books very rarely, like while they are still entertaining and good, books rarely ever give me that like the description of the demon with the slits.

SPEAKER_07

I just can't.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. Um or even just like the little activity that happens, it just it like just thinking about it now is making like a lot of things.

SPEAKER_07

And it's probably even like spookier, especially for you, because you have liven, lived in haunted houses or possessed. Did you ever say anything like that? Like I've heard your stories, but like did you ever like relax? Okay, more shattery, I mean.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, and like I did like that feeling of like not being alone was definitely a thing, like or like impending doom. Yeah, yeah, because there was like a period of time where I did live, well not live, but like I was alone while my husband was like on like a mini diploma type thing where he was still in country, but like they went off to do like a training for like a month, and I was alone for four weeks. My daughter, I was like maybe 16 weeks or not even like because I think I got I was like 12 weeks pregnant, it was just me, the dog, and the cat, and I had a hard time sleeping by myself because like I felt like there was something like watching you once in the room with me, yeah. Like, and I and I would have to close the door, lock it, and then I played. I would watch I had Spongebob on while I was sleeping because I was too scared.

SPEAKER_07

Like Spongebob is creepy in and of itself. I used to love SpongeBob, but like you know about all the things that come out about like cartoons, and when you're an adult, you can notice them versus like when you were young. So now I'm just like SpongeBob's creepy, but it's good. I remember.

SPEAKER_08

Well, I mean, it was supposed to be an adult cartoon, apparently.

SPEAKER_07

Like it was made for adults because they like forgot to remove a bunch of like adult topics, but yeah, no, like just that feeling of being watched.

SPEAKER_08

She she describes it so well because like I like I get like almost like a throwback to like that feeling, like and um yeah, just like knowing that like it's not just you in the house, like it's just I hated I hated it in reading this book.

SPEAKER_07

I just feel like they have the upper hand, like whatever it is, whatever entity it is, because you're like that's not fair, because I can't see it, yeah. Like at least like let's even the field, you know.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, it was it was creepy for sure. So it's like this book is perfect because she's she's describing it's like you fucking pussy come out of the shadows and show me your fucking fake.

SPEAKER_07

And then you see you're like, ah, go back.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, no, I'd I would be like, You can stay over there, just leave me alone. Yeah, like just let me live my life because this is too much. Like, I can't I can't be here by myself. And then there's like a situation where like lightning struck the house, and like there was you guys have a lightning ball on the roof. No, it I don't think I don't remember if they did or not.

SPEAKER_07

It's supposed to like um disperse it, the energy.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I don't think that I don't think they had that. I don't know. Like, all I know is like I was washing my face, and you know, like when you're washing your face and you're already like something's behind me. I was like washing my face, and I heard like the pop shook the house, and like because it was it was like one house and it was attached, kind of like a duplex, but there was four and one, and so it was like it shook the whole house. The dog's barking, the cat is like under the freaking bed, and I'm like, what the fuck?

SPEAKER_07

Like, what was that? It was it was so scary. Like I know where you're like from California, where of course they get thunder and lightning storms, but yeah, it's not to the level that they get on the east coast and in the Carolinas.

SPEAKER_08

So no, and I loved it. I love the thunderstorms, love the lightning. I love that because the heat lightning was really cool to see, like when it's not even raining, it's just hot and the clouds, it was just energy, it was really cool to see. And I and I am like bummed that there aren't that many like thunderstorms here. Um I think since we've moved here, I've maybe seen thunder and lightning here like maybe three times, and it's been six years, so like it makes me kind of sad because there isn't like thunder and lightning.

SPEAKER_05

But Arizona, we had tons, and we especially like during monsoon season, like we and it's so chaotic, yeah, that it makes it beautiful, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

It's so cool, but I don't think I'd want my house to get struck by lightning.

SPEAKER_08

No, no, and then like the thunder combined with like hurricanes and stuff. Oh, yeah, no, that was terrible. That's not okay.

SPEAKER_07

That's a story for a whole cellars or basements.

SPEAKER_08

No, because I mean, because we weren't really quite in like tornadoes. Well, I don't think I was gonna say not that like so I think it's we wouldn't want that for a hurricane, of course. But I'm just thinking, at least where where we live, like where where we live, there we didn't have an attic or a cellar. Yeah, and like people that lived like in like houses like off base, I have no idea. Yeah, I just I'd never been.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, were you on base at that point too?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, we lived on base, yeah. So like I don't I don't know. And I feel like a cellar in that area would just suck to have because come here, kiki. It would just flood.

unknown

Come here, kicker.

SPEAKER_08

Because if it's not a hurricane, it's a tropical storm. And it's just like it's yeah.

SPEAKER_07

All right, cool. Where do we want to begin?

SPEAKER_08

Well, I mean, I guess clearly. Yeah, she's starting the renovations on the house. She's like all excited. She's got like little paint swatches, and she's like on Pinterest, she's watching videos, like she's very like Home Depot run. Yeah, super excited. Um, like before she even got to the house, like after her first initial encounter with like the ceiling van. Um her dad had like stopped by, he like had called like an exterminator because she had mentioned that something ran across her feet when she was in her bedroom where she found the book that her mom left her. And so she dad calls an exterminator. He says that there's glue traps in the garage. And yeah, so he just kind of tells her, like, hey, I got the numbers of some contractors if you want to talk to us. Like you need to start aligning at the end of the state. Start lining stuff up, yeah. Figure out like what you're really gonna start to see.

SPEAKER_07

Like, let's figure out if the bones are good before we start tackling like cosmetic stuff on the house.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, and she she pretty much is like, yeah, no, I got that, I got that under control, you know.

SPEAKER_07

And so she And like, mind you, really quick, at the last like family little gathering that they had with, you know, regarding um Alexandra, her mother's death, and you know, obviously we kind of know how that all went. We touched on it in part one, but like everybody's like, This is your project, and like making it very clear the line and the stand that's drawn, nobody's helping you. This is your project and yours alone. Yeah, which is kind of fucked up because it's like, oh, she can't just be like, hey, I need a little bit of help.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Like, not that she's signing anybody up for like a long-term project with her, but like, really? Like, her sister was I think it's Daphne, was like, I don't even want to hear about updates of of how it's going.

SPEAKER_08

Don't tell me anything.

SPEAKER_07

Which I'm like, dude, you're a fucking bitch.

SPEAKER_08

And Lita is even worse because Lita is oh yeah, maybe Lita's the oldest sister, but Daphne does the same thing too. Because Daphne is usually the one. Lita's worse. Daphne's the middle child, so usually she's kind of like the like the middle ground between the two of them. But Lita's very much so like mean older sister, Barry looks down.

SPEAKER_07

I know she's the youngest. She said like they cannot get along.

SPEAKER_08

Well, I mean, they they did they are closer in age, so like and they did want to share a room, but they didn't include Cleo into that. They don't get along. She basically is on her own. Her sisters made it very clear we will not be helping you. We don't even want you asking dad for help.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, which is like let your fucking father speak for himself.

SPEAKER_08

Like, and and that's what like kind of annoys me is that like they just like refuse to offer any kind of assistance. And it's like I get that they wanted nothing to do with that house. I understand that Cleo was like it's overkill, like the reaction. It is like they're just very visceral about it, and I'm like, dude, like, and they and I feel like they're trying to talk her out of it by like talking about how much work it is, and like, but I'm also kind of like, well, your sister seems to be the most successful out of the two of you, like whether you believe in like the social media influencer type thing, or right, because the money's green and it pays the bills, but she's obviously doing pretty well for herself, like she is the youngest, like it is what it is, like you know, like so so so. Yeah, so she basically decides to she's gonna she's gonna paint. She's talking about how the kitchen basically just needs to be gutted and needs to be redone like all together.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, which is like let's literally remove everything in the street.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, she's got like a sketchpad where she's got like she's jotting down her little idea.

SPEAKER_07

Which I guess she's a really good idea.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, we've come to learn she was a great artist. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Um which I feel like is gonna get real fucking creepy in the book.

SPEAKER_08

So yeah, so she she's you know kind of starting that process. She's going into this with like granted, she had that weird experience, like that first and only day that she had been there before she started this process.

SPEAKER_07

But recap, that was like the fan started on its own. Next thing you know, it's like literally like aggressively like popping off, and like it's not on, it's off.

SPEAKER_08

Very creepy.

SPEAKER_07

The door creepy, right? Was that that happened right? Yeah, the door like how super far into the book. And so I like to ask these questions not because I haven't read it and don't know the content, but because I don't want to overstep and like talk about a different part that we haven't gotten to yet. So usually she's the one that like yeah rampantly reads and like I got something up my ass the last week, and I'm just fucking zooming through the pages.

SPEAKER_08

She she has her plan, she's got her sketchbook. Dad is offering support in small ways. Um, he like buys her groceries at one point.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, because he's like Yeah, she's well he kind of like judged her in part one when he like went to pick her up from her apartment in New York City to go home before the funeral. And he's like, Lita, you literally have Clio art, Cleo. You literally have no groceries and all your trash is takeout food. So, like, what's going on here?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I mean he's just like very much so like the tutding, like old like dad, you know, he just wants to make sure that his daughter's taken care of. And yeah, so like from from like the get-go, you just are kind of getting the sense that like she is being shielded from something.

SPEAKER_06

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_08

Whether we can guess at it or not, something is not right adding up with why they're all so like it is overbearing with their judgment about this house. Where it's like, okay, if you don't believe that.

SPEAKER_07

But the fact that she has zero memory.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, she has zero memory. Even though she was like seven when all this took place.

SPEAKER_07

I mean she I I wanna say I think she has other memories of being that age, but when it comes to being back in the house and like with her sisters and her mom, like just nothing.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

It isn't until we get further in the book where she's, you know, she's spending more and more and more and more time in the house. Um, and or maybe a person she's speaking to brings something up or like recalls a memory that she'll have a flashback, and then the book, you know, but she really kind of needed her mom's annotations for that, and that's yeah, she doesn't have that anymore.

SPEAKER_08

Uh-huh. Yeah, and and it's it makes me sad that like we never really get to fully see, I guess Alexandra. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, what we get is like through this book, which you know, in the beginning, Cleo says that like, okay, the way that she wrote it, and Alexandra does she is on it.

SPEAKER_07

She said it herself in the anecdote.

SPEAKER_08

I had to make certain changes.

SPEAKER_07

It would sell better. Um, I didn't want to be that fucking mean.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, because well, I mean, in reality, she was a rate, she says, like, I was a drunk. It was a drunk. I was a drunk, yeah. She says, like, oh, like in the book she wrote, I poured myself a cup of coffee. And she goes, no, I had like three glasses of vodka. It was a glass of wine, yeah. Or this was like the end of the bottle of wine that I started that morning, or something like that.

SPEAKER_07

Or a bottle of vodka. Or yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, so it was like it it is kind of sad too to like understand her reality, where it was like she felt that was the only way that she could cope with all of that, too. So it's very sad to me to think about that. But I also just wonder, like as the book goes on, how much more information we're gonna get from Alexandra's perspective that's not like just annotations in a book, you know, like or like is Cleo going to fully unlock her repressed memories from this place? Because obviously either is it. Like hypnosis type thing, yeah, where it's like they put her under and then fall forward. Yeah, I I I want to say it's something like that.

SPEAKER_07

There's therapies that help with like recalling memories. Yeah, some of them even like supposedly help with like recalling past lives.

SPEAKER_08

I've yeah, I've heard something like that. Yeah, so yeah, that's pretty much like how like that this part kind of starts. She's eager, she's excited, she's got lots of great ideas. Dad is pitching in like just a little bit, like mainly with just like checking in.

SPEAKER_07

And he's happy to do so. Like, but he's twisting his arm, she's not even really asking him necessarily. Yeah, whether he shows up or he's like, Hey, this needs to happen. Are you okay if I do it? She's like, Well, yeah, like she's gonna welcome the help. But I just kind of wanted to like make that clear because her sisters are fucking wild.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, yeah, because lead dad out of this, yeah. They get kind of grumpy a couple times because they'll somehow find out that he like brought groceries or that he like uh gave Cleo like the number to

Hello, Hello, Hello

SPEAKER_08

the exterminator, whatever. And they're like, why are you involving dad? Even that's it. So we made it clear you're on your own.

SPEAKER_07

Is part of the whole scandal going on with Chloe or Chloe, Cleo. It it plays into like, yeah, why does the dad still baby her so much? Is it because she's the baby, or does it play into why everybody gives Cleo what Cleo wants? Everybody bends the knee.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. Something is uh Yeah, something we we don't have the full screen.

SPEAKER_07

Maybe, maybe, maybe. What if there's like a the family made up pact with the demon?

SPEAKER_08

I could see that. Yeah, I'm curious. Something wild. I just I don't know. I don't know where it's going. I love it though.

SPEAKER_06

It's so good.

SPEAKER_07

You guys have to go pick up the fucking book if you haven't started reading it and read with us. You'll get through half of the book like we did in days, just a matter of days. Yeah. Okay, so next up we're gonna yeah, the gifts in the garage.

SPEAKER_06

So droppings is not the kind you think.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, so like I mean, I guess we can get into as well. So the activity is ramping up. Yeah, it's getting a little bit crazier.

SPEAKER_07

Cleo is now having demons coming out of his oh long stretch of a brick.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, and it's creepy because like again, she keeps talking about feeling like something's watching her, she sees something out of the corner of her eye, but it like disappears before she can look at it. The house kind of smells funky. Yeah, sulfur.

SPEAKER_07

If you don't know, now you know. Yeah, so apparently, if there's like a demonic presence, you're gonna smell sulfur.

SPEAKER_08

It's and it just smells like rotting meat. Like a lot of people say it's like rotting meat. So there's that. And then she can hear like scratching in the walls. Oh fuck no.

SPEAKER_07

She do you remember my story with Liz?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

That's literally, I was like, oh my god, something about somebody scratching the walls.

SPEAKER_08

She basically is like hearing the scratching in the walls, she'll fall asleep in her bed and she wakes up on the floor, or she's like she's like switched around in her bed where like she falls asleep with her head on her pillow at the head of the bed, and then she wakes up with her head at like the foot of the and then the next night she decides to put herself to bed with her head at the bottom of the bed.

SPEAKER_07

Like she woke up, but in the morning she wakes up on the ground. That was creepy. Cause like, how do you not remember fucking falling? How did you not get freezing cold not on your bed under blanket blankets? Almost called them blankies.

SPEAKER_08

Well, I mean, and she does say too that like the house will get like freezing cold in some space.

SPEAKER_07

Like there's temperature shifts, which that's normal with paranormal stuff. Not normal, but normal total.

SPEAKER_08

It'll happen. Yeah, yeah. And so yeah, so yeah, so she's got that stuff going on, and then she basically is gonna start going through more changes, and this is where things get like truly creepy. So, one situation she falls asleep on the couch, she's got her sketchbook open, and she remembers drawing, drawing, she's like coming up with designs, but she's you know, she's tired, so she like you know, passes out. She does have a couple drinks, which that's something too that like maybe we should keep an eye on with her. It's that she's drinking a lot, and it could just be because she's young, she's a young adult. Yeah, and she likes to party.

SPEAKER_06

She's made it.

SPEAKER_08

She's the party girl.

SPEAKER_07

Perfectly clear that like she's down for all sorts of parties.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, well, the whole family seems to be into it because like even stepmom. Well, not the drugs, but stepmom um like has like drugs. Yeah. No, like stepmom had sangria. Like, she every time they go over, there's like some sort of alcoholic beverage. Yeah. Yeah. So it's just kind of like one of those things where she's she found like a bottle of vodka, I think, in the freezer.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, from that was her mom.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, that was like the only thing that she found in the freezer was like a bottle of vodka. So she was just like, oh fuck that, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

So I'm gonna put this thing going to waste. Yeah, so she's not using it in no pie crust tonight. Yeah. So she's got she's got that going on.

SPEAKER_08

So so basically she is going to start, so she she wakes up after falling asleep on the couch. And what was that that she finds in?

SPEAKER_07

Um, she doesn't notice it for a while because the neighbor the what happens is she's woken up um by I don't know if it was like no, it wasn't tapping, it was footprints. Boom, boom, boom, thud. And then she sees like a shadow. And then it's still the middle of the night, and it was Austin, her neighbor, and his nephew attempting to break into the house.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Um, but of course, she thinks it's like the demon, you know, whatever. So that whole situation happens, and then like later in the day, we'll kind of go back over all that information, right? But like the next time she looks at the sketch pad, it says like hello.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. And then or was it the smiley? No, it was hello.

SPEAKER_07

It was yeah, so there's hello and then but you get quite a bit of writing from the demon in part two and the sketchbook. It loves writing going, yeah, it loves writing, and like it's fucking creepy, you guys. Like, I think, and then it's so cool how it's written in the book, too, because it's how it's literally in the writing, it's not normal text, right? So it's as if you were Cleo looking at the notebook in the handwriting that the demon wrote in. You're seeing it like that, and it's just like you know, these squiggly like line. It's so creepy. I'm like, it's so fucking it gives me chills, but yeah, that demon writes a fuck ton in the book, in the sketchpad, as like you know, chapters go on. There's a lot of faces it really likes to draw, like smiley face, but the wig with like wavy lips. Um, and then it even progresses to like getting carved in the wall into the wall. And she's she compares it to the size of one of those, you know. When we were kids, we were young, and you're like playing on the playground, that metal, like there's like four little sections. Is it a Mario Go around? Yeah, it's like a Mary Go round. Yeah, and and like there's four little sections, and you run, run, run as fast as you can and hop on wee! And it's like a death trap, it's like squeaky and uneven. Yeah, that she said it's literally that size, and the sound of digging into the wall lasted forever. And by the time she had like built up the courage to go in there, it was that smiley face in the living room wall.

SPEAKER_08

And this was, I think, wasn't this after she like she comes home and she finds like her sketchpad is just like all the pages are ripped out, and every single page that was ripped out said hello, hello, hello, hello, like multiple times. And then there was one page that was different, and it and I believe it said like remember me or something like that.

SPEAKER_07

Um, I think I did and oh hello, hello, so good to see you.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, and so she loses it, like I mean, loses it.

SPEAKER_07

I don't know how she continues to go back and stay.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, that's why I'm like kind of wondering. Like, is she is she trying to use like logic, or is she is initially I think she's trying to logic her way out of it. She's like, Okay, well, here's Alexandra coming out of me, like with the alcohol, and or like maybe I was tired and I just I wrote that. She's like, it does look like something I would do, you know. But then as things get like more and more intense, she's kind of like getting to the point where Oh, she says it, it's real, it's real, it's real, it's real, it is real. Yeah, and she's low-key kind of spiraling through it because she's like, I can't talk to anyone about this. Yeah, my sisters don't want to hear anything about it. My dad would just lose a shit. I can't think public about this because my whole image is my job.

SPEAKER_07

And they're gonna think she's having a psychotic break. Like, oh, she can't even talk to her mom's family. She can't even talk to her mom's sister, her aunt Helen.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, because everybody's gonna be like, because she's she supposedly lives. I feel like she could exactly like Alice.

SPEAKER_07

And I think she will end up talking to the mom's friends that like are the ghost hunting friends, the like, and then her ex-boyfriend, or well, not ex, but she died. So an ex, Roy, the demonologist, because I think it's in part three, it has to be, where it talks about the exorcism, right? Because you haven't gotten there, right? No, yeah. So oh my god, you guys, you just like it's so good. Yeah, it's so good. But like, yeah, yeah. So I'm like, I'm like, don't don't say anything, it's hard. But I think I hope she ends up opening up to one of those people, and I really think eventually she's gonna open up to Austin. So, because that is just like what a what a like weird neat cute.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, they're they're cute. I can't wait to get into that. I know, but um before we get to that, because this is like the part where things like get gross. So we had mentioned earlier part one, she had something, she felt something like go across her foot. Like she's like, oh my god, there's there's mice. She and she's almost more scared of like the mice than she is of like a potential demon. And this is again where her like logical brain is like, okay, the scratches, there's like dead flies everywhere. She's like, we definitely have like a pest problem.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, and it's like all these things that are like signs of demon. Yeah, signs of demons.

SPEAKER_08

Well, that's another thing too, because the flies. I have a story about that too as a kid.

SPEAKER_04

Really?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. Um, it's super brief. Like, I'll I'll just say it real quick. Uh-huh. So where I'm from, there's this like house and it's called the Rosewood Manor. And it's like this beautiful, big, huge mansion in the middle of town. And it's got like a ballroom up top. It's got like one of those, like it looks like you know, like how like it looks like a standard house, but then there's like almost like a circular room that kind of goes up. It looks like a little castle spire type thing, you know? And I mean almost like the cover of this, but it goes like this one but in the middle and going up. Yeah. So my grandma, she bounced around a lot. Um, she ended up like they they I guess would rent out their rooms in the Roswell Manor. And as a kid, I'd always wanted to go into this house. I thought it was such a cool house, it was beautiful, it's like so out of place compared to like the rest of this like super small town. Go inside. Oh, you did go in? I did go in because my grandma is a room? Yeah, she rented a room for like she was living there for like a month or two.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_08

But she was like, Oh, you can finally come in and see this house. And so very excited, right? I go in. Was it pretty? It's really pretty. It's like a really pretty little, you know, not little, it's like a it's a mantle. Yeah. Yeah, so they they did the upkeep on it, and it was just really, really pretty, sweeping staircase, like just gorgeous house. And I was excited about going up to the ballroom. I was like, whoa, there's a ballroom up here. Dope! We go upstairs to the ballroom. We go upstairs to the ballroom and we're looking around. It's really pretty and nice looking, you know. The floors are pretty. Um I wanted to go into like the tower thing that was on the side, and I wanted to look out the window. Because we're at this point, like we're on like the third floor. I go, I open up the door, dead flies everywhere. Ew. Like, like the floor was black. There were swept them up. There were so many dead flies. And my- What did you do? Did you I went I went there? I I had been in like every section of that from like the first to the second floor to the third floor. The third floor was the only one that had the dead flies in there.

SPEAKER_07

And it was probably just that one room, or was it the whole floor?

SPEAKER_08

Just the one room. Off to the side of the ballroom. And my grandma.

SPEAKER_07

You know, it would be even fucking creepier if like this if your memory became a movie scene.

SPEAKER_08

It's playing in my head right now.

SPEAKER_07

Because we can make AI videos, y'all. What if the fucking dead flies started fucking livening us?

SPEAKER_08

Well, so like I'm like, I'm not going in there. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_07

I think you were the bravest soul on earth.

SPEAKER_08

No, I closed the door. My grandma was already going downstairs with like the because my brother and sister were younger, so she was taking them downstairs. Yeah. So like I ran across the ballroom and I'm going to go down the stairs, and I looked back and the door the door was open. And I had just closed it, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, fuck to the no.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. It was creepy.

SPEAKER_07

Bro, did you hear anything? No, I didn't hear. Did you hear the door creak open?

SPEAKER_06

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_08

Nothing at all. Maybe because like my footsteps, like I could only hear like my footsteps going across the floor.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, so is there anything else to that story?

SPEAKER_08

Well, so basically they say that an abundance of dead flies is an indicator that there's a demon.

SPEAKER_05

So like not a ghost, a demon.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, because you've seen like the Am Amityville horror, right?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, like now I was just thinking like the fly king is like, or is that what it's called? I'm pretty sure that's like a demonic thing too. Like, why flies? Because they eat shit.

SPEAKER_08

I think it's because like they're attracted to the smell of death.

SPEAKER_05

Of death, yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Like if we didn't have flies, the world would be way stink like the world would be way stinkier because they eat away.

SPEAKER_05

So and like, and then I'm just thinking about like the whole life cycle of a fly and like maggots and shit.

SPEAKER_08

Uh yeah. So, I mean, going back into it, the yeah, so her dad had mentioned that he had an exterminator come by. Yeah. Exterminator said that he couldn't find any sign of mice throughout the house, but he did say in the garage, there was a demon. There were some kid. There were some like mice droppings. Yeah. But he's like, they put down some glue traps, and she needs to make sure she goes check goes to check out the in a couple days or something, right? So mind you, it's been like a couple weeks at this point.

SPEAKER_07

So she's like she's been back and forth.

SPEAKER_08

She's back and forth between her apartment and the city and then back to here. So she's kind of like, Oh, I need to go to the garage. So she goes out to the garage and she's immediately like hit with the smell of death and rough. And she's like, What the fuck is that smell? That is horrendous. Uh-huh. Turns on the lights and she's like immediately it's funny because she says immediately it's already creepy in here because the light is like a bare, like twitchy.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, and isn't there the window? Like, there's like not that many windows. Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

So it's just dark except for this like creepy buzzing light. And then she looks down and she sees the glue traps are filled with mice. But the mice are ripped to shreds.

SPEAKER_07

Like, it's just bits and pieces of it.

SPEAKER_08

Bits and pieces of mice.

SPEAKER_07

There's no like and there's no whole mouse anywhere.

SPEAKER_08

Like, and she tried to explain it as like, okay, well, maybe they tried to chew out of the traps. Or maybe because like if a member desperate, it'll chew off its own arm to get out of a trap.

SPEAKER_07

I feel like that's more of a rat thing, but a mouse thing, but even still. But she was trying to logic in. I know, but like a mouse can't isn't gonna bite its vital organs off.

SPEAKER_08

No, so that's where she was like, she's like, okay, but there's half of a mouse here, like the bottom half. Or she's like, there's like a claw or the left half, or like a head, and so she's like, bro, what the fuck? So she calls her dad. Dad is like, Well, I told you to check them, the traps, you know, and he's like, Well, you know, he's like, it just happens they were probably just trying to escape from the glue traps, or you're like, No, bro, let me hey, you know, like here it is, we should use our iPhones to like FaceTime, yeah, or like send a picture, yeah. And so throughout all of this, um, she has that situation happen where she's like, bro, like this is crazy. And then she's also hearing whispers in the house, and she's feeling like fingers on the back of her neck, like yeah, she keeps feeling like the feeling of like mice running across her, like something is like running across of her or whispering. Whispering. She's in the hallway at one point, and she's like stops because she feels like something is like blocking her, like she like can't move, move forward, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

And so again, all of these, like you would not catch me fucking dead in that house.

SPEAKER_08

At that point, I'm hiring people to come in and get this work done, and we're fucking selling this shit.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, like I you don't even need to be on the premises, actually. You can just set it on fire or put it up for sale as is. You figure it the fuck up.

SPEAKER_08

I mean, there's but then then there's like that whole moral thing where it was like there's that too, but that's also why Alexandra didn't sell the house, is because she felt terrible leaving another family to deal with this demon.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, but it just keeps like so because what do you unless somebody with money comes in, like I don't know why the Alexandra's friend, the one that she got in contact with to do that did the her funeral memorial thing, the really rich lady. Why hasn't somebody that like loves Alexandra and has money like just help? To pave to demolish the fucking site.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. No, I would I would have to do that.

SPEAKER_07

Because if the demon is attached to the house, which it is, like if the house was gone and all the rebels collected and disposed of, do you think it'd still be there if they started to build like a new, like a whole new property?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, that's a good question. I don't know, because like I hear that sometimes get like maybe it's just bound to the house. So if you get rid of the house, and like what's in the world.

SPEAKER_07

I want a book about the story of the demon. Where when? How?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Where'd it come from?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Was it like are somebody was they playing with a fucking Ouija board? Like what?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Where'd you come from? Yeah, because she says like pretty much immediately to start like talking to the demon. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. So so yeah, I mean that's kind of like what's going on with that aspect. But maybe we should circle back around to Austin, my sweet baby Austin.

SPEAKER_07

Baby boy.

SPEAKER_08

I freaking love him.

SPEAKER_07

Also, just as much as we love Tommy.

SPEAKER_08

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_07

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_08

I love Tommy in a different way where it's like obviously I want nothing bad to happen to Austin. But if I swear to fucking god, if anything happens to Tommy, I'm gonna riot. Because he's just this sweet little angel baby who's just He's so genuine. He's so he's just such a funny guy. But um, so yeah, so Austin. So we told you earlier about how she woke up, hears footsteps, looks over, and she sees like a shadow, and she's like, Oh god, like the demon. So she's like, she goes to chase after it. And then come to find-come to find out it's a it's a teenage boy. And he's like, he falls, and like he's yeah, he's like, he's like, oh god, you said the house was empty. And she's like, What are you doing on my property? And he's like, he dared me. And she turns around and she's like, Oh, score, this guy's hot. Not the kid, but she's like, This guy's hot. And we find out his name is Austin.

SPEAKER_07

I also love Cleo, and like she's just so she's so funny, sexual by nature, but she like owns it and it's hot. You know what I mean? I'm like, fuck yeah, girl.

SPEAKER_08

Good for you. Yeah, no, like right off the rip, she's like, Oh yeah, I'd smash 100%. Oh, 100%. Super into it. And she's kind of like, she kind of like she does her thing where she not scrutinizes, but she oh, she analyzes him from the clothes that he's wearing, and she's like, Well, he's wearing a tank top, but he's like not wearing a tank top in like a douchey way.

SPEAKER_07

But what's saving him? The shoes.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, the shoes. He's wearing like bands. He's just like a very He's a chill dude.

SPEAKER_07

Chill dude.

SPEAKER_08

And he's like, Oh shit, I'm so sorry. He's like, I dared my nephew. This is totally my fault. He's like, he's like, he's like, I'm gonna get in so much trouble with my brother. Like, he's gonna kill me. He's like, I'm the worst uncle ever. And she's kind of like, Oh, you know, maybe I'll press charge. You know, she's just like flirty, you know, she's just being flirty, and she gets like a first aid kit and like you know, patches up the nephew, and they're kind of like, Okay, well, maybe I'll see you around. And Austin does indeed come back the next day. And come he does.

SPEAKER_07

Does she he sure does? Does she she goes to his house, right?

SPEAKER_08

Not for a while. So like a set, like so like not until like the third or fourth.

SPEAKER_07

Or did he come back to her house and ring the bell?

SPEAKER_08

Came back to her house, rang the bell, brought like cookies, and like he kind of explains that he's a nurse and he works in a nursing home, but he's also staying with his mom because she has MS. So he's taking care of her.

SPEAKER_07

He's like, How hot is that? Like, I'm a 30-something-year-old living in my mom's basement.

SPEAKER_08

But she's like, she finds him endearing. Like, he's endearing. He's very funny. Handsome, charming.

SPEAKER_07

He definitely like chivalry is not dead with Austin.

SPEAKER_08

No, and like they have a couple encounters, but it comes quick, like very quick. She doesn't come quick, but the kiss is like, come here, dude.

SPEAKER_07

And he's like, I mean, she kisses him right away, like on the second meet.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. And it's cute though, because it's like, it doesn't feel super rushed to me. It just seems like natural, like they should be together, you know, and I hope they are. I hope by the end of the book that they're together.

SPEAKER_07

Because she is picking when it comes to like if she's just down to like fuck and be done. I feel like she would do that. Like, if she's out partying, um she kind of talked about that in part one. Like, don't so many people don't want to go alone, like go home alone, they don't want to fall asleep alone, they just like want somebody to like, you know, smash and get it over with, or not, you know, just superficial. And but even when she's had opportunity for that, like with Ethan, she's like literally like, okay, I'm gonna fuck Ethan tonight.

SPEAKER_05

Fuck it, get in the car, come home with me, and then like the next stop is like, get the fuck out. I actually I changed I changed my mind.

SPEAKER_07

And so for her to actually be like follow me through, I'm surprised.

SPEAKER_05

And I love it because he's so close. It's it's perfect, like close in proximity to the house, you know.

SPEAKER_08

And he does mention that he's like, Oh, I actually know you guys. He's like, you know, she's she doesn't remember him at all.

SPEAKER_07

But he says, like he's like, Are you Lena? Or and he's like, Oh, Cleo.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, like he knows her pretty much right off the bat. Yeah, and she's like, I I don't remember. And he's like, Well, he's like, We used to hang out a little bit. Yeah, and like he's like as kids, and he's like, Well, you guys weren't really here, you guys weren't around that long. But he said, you know, the time that you guys were here, like you were you played in the neighborhood, and you know, he kind of points out like small memories, and she's kind of like, Oh, yeah, okay. I I kind of remember, but she's like very vaguely, but and she even like texts like Daphne, and Daphne is like, Oh yeah, I kind of remember, but like, I don't know, like you know, so um, so she kind of calls him or he comes over and he's kind of like a really good distraction in some ways when it comes to all of the crazy stuff happening in the house, but she's also starting to just really enjoy his company, like he just seems to be like her conversation just flows, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

And so really naturally, and then also she's not alone, yeah.

SPEAKER_08

And in you know, he's he seems very open to like hearing what she has to say, you know. They make like a couple more but jokes, but she hasn't brought up the demons, yeah. But she's just kind of like, hey, this guy's here, he's really cool. He knows the story though, he's great in bed, like yeah, I'm really enjoying my time with him, and really like sucking on that lollipop around Shane. And you know, and there's like a point too where he um invites her to come meet her his mom.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, and she's like, Already? Yeah, you think I'm the one?

SPEAKER_08

But but she was also kind of like, let's go to your house, because like something like had happened that night where she's like, I need to. I gotta get the fuck out of here.

SPEAKER_07

I'm having anxiety.

SPEAKER_08

And so he's like, Okay, yeah, let's go. And so she does talk to his mom, and his mom does kind of give like an important note here that I think is worth mentioning. Where she knew Alexandra, knew Alexandra, and she said, you know, I had her over for coffee a few times, she had me over for wine. She she's the day that the day that Alexandra died.

SPEAKER_07

That's what I was gonna say. I'm like, should I say it? Is it in part three? But yeah, she's she's like, I might have been the last person to see your mother alive.

SPEAKER_08

And she said that she did seem very uh just like distant and just like kind of not herself. And then she said that some demons, what was it? Some what all of our she said something like all of our demons like kill you in the end, or something like that. Like her last word to her was something like that, basically about a demon essentially killing you.

SPEAKER_07

Your demons also get you, yeah.

SPEAKER_08

And it's just like very eerie because like from what we know, what we assume, the demon is responsible for their mom's for Alexandra's death.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Whether we know how or not, which um hopefully we'll find out by the end, like how it managed to happen. What if I can have that if I can find that quote? It should be like the second to last chapter, I think. Or or of part two. Of part two, duh, because that's where we are. Yeah. But like, you know, the mom was very sweet, she's very like open to Cleo. And, you know, she initially it seemed like Cleo kind of had to drag it out of her a little bit by like getting her to admit, like, okay, whatever you're hiding, you can tell me. Like, I can handle it. She basically, you know, says, like, yeah, I had your mom over a few times. She kind of talked to me about your dad, talked to me about your si she actually didn't really talk too much about like the demon situation because she was like, I think she felt like who was gonna believe me? Like, who's gonna believe what I have to say? And she just said, like, she was a very nice woman. I like talking to her. I even met Roy a couple times.

SPEAKER_07

Found out so Cleo's talking with Austin's mom. I forgot her mom's name, and her mom is saying essentially, this is what Alexandra said to me before she left. And she said, I asked her if she was alright, and she said she said our demons get us all in the end. That's what it is. Then she told me she would see me later and walked off, turned around and went home. I didn't follow her. I wish I would have. I keep thinking about it.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, so that's Austin's mom holds like some guilt over like not.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, when it's like should anything have changed, maybe. Would it have not? Maybe, like, there's no point in just like it wasn't your responsibility. Yes, you're a good friend. You wish that you could have been a better friend in that moment. That's just too much weight to carry around for something that you cannot change, you know.

SPEAKER_08

So, yeah, yeah. And you know, so yeah, her and Austin's relationship is kind of getting I don't want to say serious, but like, you know, they're hanging out more often, talking a little bit more. She hasn't, she's still not sharing anything that's going on in the house with him. But he comes over every now and then and helps her paint and keep her busy. Yeah, but for the most part, it's kind of like more of like a physical relationship, but she's kind of using him as a safety net when it comes to the spooky stuff happening.

SPEAKER_07

There's like one And being able to like exit the house very quickly.

SPEAKER_08

There's one point where like he does spend the night with her, but then she's sleeping. Yeah, she's like he doesn't wake up. She's sleeping in bed, and she hears the door like creak open. She hears like the footsteps, and she's like, the the room got so cold. She said, I can feel breaths, but she's like, But Austin's sleeping behind me, like he's spooning her. Austin's warm, he's spooning me. I can feel his breath on my on my like ear. But she's like, Why can I feel breath on my face? Like something's breathing on my face, and she's like getting like terrified, and then she like falls to the floor, yeah. Like she's on the floor, and Austin's like, Oh shoot, did I push you out of bed? And she's like, No, I just had a really bad dream. And and he's kind of like, Well, I have a queen bed at my house because they're sleeping on like her sister's twin mattresses like pushed together, and he's like, She's like sheep. Yeah, so she's like, Yeah, let's just go to your house. Let's keep at your house. Yeah. So the demon. Oh, yeah. She says that like she feels like the blanket lifts up. Oh, it was she got pulled from the bottom. Yeah, and it like Isn't that it? Yeah, I think so. Where it's like, yeah, because like it lifted up the blanket off of her like feet, and she could feel it's like your mind, your mind. Yeah, mine. She could feel like the fingers traveling up or like from her toes.

SPEAKER_07

I would have just started shaking and crying.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

And also, I would be screaming, I don't care if you think I'm crazy, wake the fuck up.

SPEAKER_08

So, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

And they go back to his house and sleep in his queen bed.

SPEAKER_08

So, yeah, things with Austin and her are popping off. Popping off. And I'm excited to see how that goes. I hope it gets more intense because I think that they're cute together.

SPEAKER_07

They're so cute.

SPEAKER_08

So, I mean, now I guess we could kind of talk about the book and not the book Play Nice, but Alexandra's book that she wrote about the haunting of their house.

SPEAKER_07

Leo and her sisters and her dad made a package. Never a fan book. We will never read it. Ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever. And they pinky promised.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

With a fucking cherry on top. And so far, supposedly, nobody's read it.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, as far as like the family goes. And even then, like this book, I guess it flopped really hard when it was like first popular. And then like it's it's gone out of print. So like, yeah. Um, so her mother I wonder why. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

So I mean they she How can you go from being really, really, really popular to nothing?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. Well, and so she does because other spooky shit happens. Probably people move on. Yeah, people move on. And so well, so she does point out that, like, you know, the in the first part, she found one half of her mother's book with annotations written by her mom, and it was left specifically for Cleo to read.

SPEAKER_07

And or the mom, what she did was she wrote, it would have been for all of them to read, but she figured the daughter most, if one was gonna come back, and if one ended up reading it, it was Cleo.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. Um, so as Cleo is like kind of experiencing these things in real time, yeah. She's also reading along in her mom's book and reading the annotations that her mom had put in the margins, and there was a point where while all the girls were at school, Alexandra, this is reading from her perspective in her book. Um there's a point where she goes, like, she knows that her daughter is talking to somebody, and this is Cleo.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Cleo's in her room and she's talking to somebody.

SPEAKER_07

Well, okay, hold on, hold on. Can we back up just a little bit more? Alexandra and her daughters, they all built this really intrinsic, multi-level, sturdy as buck fort out of cardboard. And they had covered it in sheets, and it was like just elaborate. Everybody was supposed to be in bed. Alexandra was hanging out downstairs in the living room where the fort is, she's on the couch. Shit starts moving, like the sheets that are on the fort, little doors and stuff that are hinged in the fort, all cardboard, and she's starting to get really, really scared. Well, at first, she's like, which one of my kids is like down here fucking with me? Cleo? You know, so she thinks her kids um like snuck out of bed and they're down there trying to like spook her. Well, it gets to the point after so much time, she's not getting a response, and she's like, she's beginning to panic more and more and more. She starts screaming. Lo and behold, all of her kids run out of the rooms, which is upstairs on the second floor. They're like on this, like essentially kind of like how we have this Juliet kind of balcony looking down. She realizes all the kids are there, all accounted for. What the fuck? She's drunk, scared, angry now, destroys the entire fort. Literally, kicking it to shreds, this, that, and the other. She's screaming. Daphne and Lena, they run to their room, slam the door, they're in their bedroom. Cleo goes back to her room, and then her mom is going essentially, you know, some time has passed or whatever. She's going up the stairs, gonna go to her bedroom, walking past Cleo's room now, and then this happens.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, so she can hear her daughter talking to someone, she can hear whispering, and she doesn't even like, she's just kind of like, I'm not dealing with it tonight. I'm going to bed.

SPEAKER_07

I have zero energy left in my cup.

SPEAKER_08

So she does kind of bring it up to her daughter the next day, and she's like, hey. Cleo at first is like, I'm not nobody, I didn't talk to anyone. And then she's like, Okay, so she turns up the music in the radio, and then her daughter says so quietly that she almost doesn't hear it, but she says, It thinks you're funny.

SPEAKER_07

And it wants to be my friend.

SPEAKER_08

And it wants to be my friend, and her mom is like, What do I even do with that, right? So there's a day when all her kids are in school, she goes into Cleo's room and she's like looking around. And there's an attic entrance in Cleo's room, wasn't it? I want to say it was in Cleo's room, because she has to pull out a chair in the closet. Yeah, so she pulls out a chair.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, yes. Mm-hmm. It's like we're one of the ones where you have to move like the head.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

It's tiny.

SPEAKER_08

Mm-hmm. And she says she gets up there and it is freezing cold in there. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

And fuck an ice storm going on.

SPEAKER_08

Right off the rip. I believe it, doesn't it laugh at her? Like whatever it is, she sticks her head in like long.

SPEAKER_07

She heard giggling.

SPEAKER_08

She hears giggling. Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_07

And then she like kind of like goes to get out because she's like scared. So she goes to like find her footing to like get out, and she falls, and like she doesn't break her back, but like she gets really fucking hurt. She fiffs it, yeah. And then the demon sh starts dying laughing.

SPEAKER_08

Hysterically laughing. Yeah. And so she's like, I'm talking to a fucking priest. She's like, I cannot do this shit anymore. I'm done. I'm talking to a priest. And she she does write a section where she says, But you know what I would have done?

SPEAKER_07

I'm starting a fire.

SPEAKER_08

She does try calling her sister, and she does try talking to her sister, but her sister's kind of like, Do you want me to come out there? And she's like, No, I don't want to bother you with this. And you know, she does kind of point out like in her annotations that like she did talk to her sister, but she never talked to her sister fully about what was going on in that situation. She didn't want to involve her sister, didn't want her sister to have to come out and have this going on with her, too. Right. And so she's kind of like, you know what? I'm gonna go to the church, uh the Catholic church.

SPEAKER_07

So she talks to the She's like, I don't know what I need, I don't know how to get help, but like this seems like a really good place to start.

SPEAKER_08

So she heard the demon. Her first pro like thought process is like, I need to bless the house.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

So she goes to the local church. Goes to the local church and she seeks out Father John and she says, Hey, can you come by my house and bless it, please? Doesn't give him any information. She's just like, Hey, it'd be nice if you could come bless the house. Yeah. So he says, True blessings. I can do that.

SPEAKER_07

So he's like a very like sweet guy. Is he? I think that's a good thing.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, the the first the first one's really sweet. The second one's okay. So the first one he's so Father John's very sweet. He's like, Of course, I can come out. And so she schedules a day.

SPEAKER_06

Bless your house.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, schedules a day, and so she called, like, she tells work initially her job that she's gonna be late. But then Cleo ends up getting sick that day. And so she's kind of like, I don't want my daughters around to see this because one, their dad does not agree with religion, he would fucking kill me if he found out, yeah, if he found out that I was involving the church. He's been very vocal about not wanting the girls like to be involved in all the like Christianity, God, anything like that. So she was like, I was trying to keep this from him. So she's like, Well, fuck, like Cleo's at home, it is what it is. I'll just tell her that she she's like, I kind of have to bribe her. So she says, like, hey, how about you go into Lita and Daphne's room? Yeah, you know, I won't I won't tell them, it'll be our secret. And so Cleo's like, you know, little sister's like, Oh fuck yeah. So she like runs upstairs, Father John gets there. She had like coffee and like cookies and all the stuff prepared because she was like, you know, just wanting to be hospitable. And he comes into the house and he immediately just starts hacking, like he is coughing. And to the point where like he doesn't even get to the kitchen, like she tries to get him some water, and he's like already out the door, the door shut. He can't breathe. Yeah, the door shut behind him. She goes to open the door. The door shuts behind him. Yeah. As she's coming out. She's like, oh fuck. So she runs up, grabs the door handle. It's burning hot to the point where it burns her hand. Like scald. She has a blister. Yeah. Yeah. And she's like, she like, and her daughter's like, Cleo, Cleo's like, what's going on? And she's like, just stay upstairs.

SPEAKER_04

She screams.

SPEAKER_08

Like she takes her shirt and like covers her hand, and she's like, I can still feel how hot it is through the shirt. But she opens the door, and Father John's like sitting on the steps, and he is hacking, hacking, hacking. Finally gains control of himself. She sits down next to him and she's like, Are you okay? And he's like, Why did you call me here? And she's like, I wanted you to bless the house. There's something here. There's something here that's like messing with me and my girls. And he's like, I'm gonna need to call an expert. He's like, There's no that I can't fucking do it. But he's like, It doesn't want me here. I cannot do anything about it. I'm going to call my friend, Father Bernard. He has experience with all of these things. Yep. And so she's kind of like, Well, is there anything you can do? And he's like, I can pray for you, but that's about it. And so he gets up, goes to his car, gets in his car, and he drives away. She turns around, and there on the step is a mucusy dead mouse. Father John hacked up a dead mouse.

SPEAKER_06

So Alexandra. Oh my god. And then I'm just, you know what I'm thinking about? There are fucking priests all around this world where some fucking shit has happened to you. Because you know some wild ass shit's happening out there.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And like in the real world though. You're like exorcism. Specialists and priests have to deal with some shit. Oh my god. It's crazy.

SPEAKER_07

And dude, that was like something I never thought I'd ever read in my entire life. When I read it, I was like, that's good.

SPEAKER_06

Like, that's fucking rancid and horrid to think about, but that was like a really good thing to like throw in there.

SPEAKER_07

I was like, oh shit, did not see that one coming at all. At all. And then like, is it like a baby one? Like the little ones that you like feed to like little snakes? Or is it like a regular full ass grown one? Like, I would have been panicking that like you gotta give me the Heimlich maneuver. I don't know. That was wild. I was I couldn't believe it when I read that shit. I was like, that's fucked up. Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

And then it gets a little bit crazier because then, like, the expert, right? Father Bernard shows up.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

And at this point, like again, Alexander's trying to keep it on the DL from like her two eldest because she knows that they're gonna go tell their father. And but Father Bernard, he is different from Father John. Whereas Father John was like sweet, very welcoming and generous. Father Bernard is no nonsense. Like he immediately comes up.

SPEAKER_07

He's just like, he's not fucking around. He's all business. Like he is not here, like honestly, like he's just everything you wouldn't expect from a priest. Like he's not welcoming, he's not here to like preach God to you. He's here to do his job. He's here to fuck like leave him alone.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

And so he immediately very flat-faced. Old or flat affect. I meant not flat-faced.

SPEAKER_08

But he comes in and like her daughters are still eating breakfast, and she's like, He's fucking early for one. Yeah. So her two oldest daughters are already like, What's this guy doing here? And she's like, Oh, he's my friend. You know, the church. He's my friend from the church. Yes, because I mean, because he's wearing the whole thing, like it's obvious that he is, yeah. And so he's kind of like, Don't follow me, I'm gonna walk around your house and take a look at things. And so she's kind of like, Okay. And the daughters, like the eldest two, are kind of like, dude, what the like, not what the fuck, because they're still children, but they're kind of like, Mom, like, what's he doing here? And she's kind of like, Don't worry about it, like, just finish your breakfast. We gotta get you to school. And he kind of does his like walk around and he comes back and he's like, I need to talk to you outside. Uh-huh. Come with me. Like immediately. Let's go. And she's like, Okay, so like, and he's like, he's like, so I'm pretty sure what's haunting your house is a demon. It's a fucking demon. It's a demon.

SPEAKER_07

And he and she's like we can do something about it, but I today cannot.

SPEAKER_08

And he and she's like, Well, what are we what are we supposed to do?

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, like, well, tell me, father. Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

And he's like, Don't leave me here hanging. He's like, Well, are your daughters baptized? And she's like, nay, nay. And so at that point, they start going to church more often, right? They're going to church, she's trying to baptize her daughters.

SPEAKER_07

And well, but going back to that conversation, like he he's like, We need to get, like, I have to make some phone calls, I have to like assemble a team, and we're gonna have to, it's gonna be a long day. Yeah. Like, we are gonna have to perform an exorcism on the house, and we there needs to be a team involved with certain specialties to allow this to happen. So, like, do this until I can gather this and make this go away. Yeah. And then before he leaves, he's like, the demon has taken a liking to your daughter, Cleo. Like it's an attachment.

SPEAKER_08

Really likes Cleo. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_07

Not that he, I don't know why I'm calling it a he, not that it has possessed her, but it has attached to her.

SPEAKER_08

And there was a point too, did we discuss this in part one where there was like a memory that was brought up for her where, and I forget which sister pointed it out, but they were like, Do you not remember that mom chased you down the hallway with a knife?

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, and then later, have you got have we have you did they retouch on that in two or was it three? Oh, you get the whole other side of the story, and you just feel so bad for Alexandra because but it's nobody's fault. Like these are children, they remember memory is such like a weird thing, right? So you don't really know, you can't conceptualize the whole story when you're a child, and as an adult reflecting on memories, it's so visceral and real, but you still don't have the bandwidth to understand because your memory is still a child as well. Yeah, like, and so, but you just you get not even the whole story, you just get the point of view of Alexandra, and you're just like, Oh my god.

SPEAKER_08

It's sad.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, it's it actually is really sad where it's like both truths exist and they coexist, both are right and both are wrong. It's very interesting. Like I'm excited to get more into that because yeah, I just feel I feel so bad for her. So bad for her.

SPEAKER_08

I also feel bad for Cleo because she's just repressed so much of this stuff. You know, like all the time.

SPEAKER_07

But even if she didn't, I would still wouldn't have the whole story.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, and like I and part of me is like starting starting to wonder too, like, are the sisters really even villains for not wanting to remember a lot of this stuff or for not wanting to go through the stuff again or wanting to go back to that house? Like, no, they're not, right? You know, but they're just setting up.

SPEAKER_07

I wonder if they're hard boundaries.

SPEAKER_08

Lip stuff is what's affect like eventually going to fuck Cleo in the end.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, like absolutely. Like, I think she could, whatever's coming is big, like huge. Yeah, and 100% I do not doubt that whatever they are keeping to protect her will end up damning her in the end. Yeah, like it could have been avoidable. She's not like this, not not sweet, she's not this like tender, young, naive child. She's an adult. She is strong, she can handle it, yeah. You know, even kids, like, kids are a lot stronger, more resilient than like adults give them credit for. And it's okay to tell the truth. Now you can, you know, adults can choose to like omit certain things, but like you don't have to keep things or lie, you just decide what you present at each developmental stage that they've you know what I'm trying to say, like depending on what their age and development level is, like yeah, what the fuck? Like, you're setting her up to fail, especially if you're outright not like standing in front of the door being like, Clio, you may not fucking enter.

SPEAKER_06

Tell her why. Yeah, just be honest, like it's gonna fucking haunt her.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, anyways. It's so it just it's sad all around this whole situation, whether it feels so bad for the mom. Yeah, and Cleo's just reliving it. It's she's literally going through the exact same thing.

SPEAKER_07

And and then it's like, oh, look how easy it is for the father to have painted this story when you're seeing it literally unfold in your own actions before your eyes.

SPEAKER_08

Well, and yeah, and like that also kind of brings in like the fact that he he finds out that she's been going taking the girls to church. Yeah. And he's pissed about it. Like he's really mad about it for some reason, and he frames it as unnaturally. Yeah. And he frames it as like you're just trying to how does he say it? I'm gonna grab it.

SPEAKER_07

Like it's almost like if somebody like you would expect that reaction from somebody that's like in something wild and crazy, not like a Catholic church, but like in the occult or like some satanic shit, like something wild where you're like, you cannot have my kid in that, like that is not safe. Yeah. Well, he wants to like take her to court and get the lawyers and get full custody of the kids, all for taking the girls to Catholic church.

SPEAKER_08

Well, and the way that he had said it like kind of pissed me off because what'd he say?

SPEAKER_07

You're just a dick when it comes to the mom.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, like he says something.

SPEAKER_07

And it's like, dude, at one point, that was your whole world. You loved her so much, you married her and had three children with her. What happened, yo? I think something is triggering me for like I feel like somehow he's connected in the mess. And I don't know why. Because all in all, they paint him and or Rachel, the author of this book, paints him. Like, we should just love him. Like he's done nothing but like be super supportive of his daughters, like everything. But like as is he though, because we're not that's what I'm saying, but as we go along each new chapter, he's actually like a piece of shit.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, because like it came out that Daphne is a lesbian, and he the way that Cleo had said it was that he had put all of his effort pretty much into Lita because she kind of has like the traditional marriage. She's married to a man, she's you know children. She's like kind of lived her whole life, right? He pretty much like very traditional, he he doesn't pressure Daphne at all into getting married because he's kind of like because you're gay, you're a lesbian, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

So like, which is fucked up.

SPEAKER_08

But then when it comes to Cleo, she's like, I haven't even told my dad that I'm actually by because she says that like you know, there's a couple cows, yeah. And I do drugs and I party and I do yeah, well, because he finds like a note that was written by Austin one night, you know, last night was fun. He's like me, yeah. What's but he's also kind of like weirdly pissed off about that too, about the fact that she's like hooking up.

SPEAKER_05

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_08

And we don't know if it's just because it's like it's his dad or it's his daughter.

SPEAKER_05

She's like, dad's pissed, like he just found out I'm a slut.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, because she she answers like Lita calls her and she's like, Dad just slut shame me. And but she kind of says that you know, he doesn't really seem to put too much effort or thought into Daphne. And is it because she's a lesbian? And then she said, like, I think the only reason why he's even still like But like what do you have to fuck up?

SPEAKER_07

On top of me and her like shut the fuck up.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, because yeah, there it's like it's speculated that he slept with Cleo's ballet teacher, and they're now married, and had a relationship going for a while. It's speculated a lot in the book, too. Like in in her mom's book, yeah. She mentions it a few times, but the jury's kind of out on that.

SPEAKER_07

You ended our marriage and grieved it long before you told me you were done. And then you were so salty, you like hated me, divorced me, and I'm just trying to play catch up on the feelings that you've already dismantled as you were bugging her.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

For uh didn't wasn't it like was it months or years before he ended it? The speculative.

SPEAKER_08

I don't know. I I forget. Like I wanted to say it's like years. Uh-huh. And the crazy part too is that Cleo says that like Daphne and Lita's relationship with Amy, which is their stepmom, yeah, is more of like a mother role, but she said like she was still my dance teacher for a while.

SPEAKER_07

She was like, it was more of like she was like my dance teacher coach.

SPEAKER_08

So she was like, I knew her more as like a coach than I did as like a stepmom or like a mother.

SPEAKER_07

More of like a friendly, awkward.

SPEAKER_08

And like just to kind of like say what he he had said, because he was like, You're taking them to church, he said. And Alexandra says, They're my daughters too. I'd been preparing, so why did I feel so unprepared? I wanted them to learn about faith, about goodness, and have values. He balked. They are good, they have values. I've taught them values, they don't want to go, you're forcing them. And so in her annotation, she said he would always do this. Twist my words, of course, of course, you were good. That wasn't what I meant, and he knew it. And then he kind of goes into, you're not even Catholic. I don't know what you're playing at. Is this for the judge to position yourself as some pious, God-fearing mother? You're not doing this for the girls, you're doing this for yourself. You're so fucking selfish. No more church, no more forced prayers. You'll be hearing from my lawyer. Fucking dick. And then in Alexander says in her annotation, believe it or not, this depiction of your father is generous. This conversation was far worse than I portrayed it. So yeah, she so Cleo goes back and forth on, like, okay, was this just mom? Because she was like the the ex-wife, you know, she was an alcoholic. But then, you know, Cleo does say that every interaction she has with her dad as she continues reading this book, she's kind of like, I don't know about you. Like, she's avoiding certain interactions because she doesn't want to be around her dad. And then she's kind of like, no, like that I'm talking about. Like, this is but no things are just kind of starting to add up that she's kind of like shift. I don't know. I don't know about this. Maybe mom has more truth to her words than we are giving her credit for, willing to give her credit for.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

And so yeah, it's kind of interesting how that goes.

SPEAKER_05

And like it just kind of does kind of suck that he like gaslights her into like and then well, as soon as that conversation is read and that seed is planted. Now moving forward, the remainder interactions with him, you're like, that was fucked up. Yeah, you know what I mean? It's almost like you needed to understand gaslighting.

SPEAKER_07

And then you're like, oh yeah, oh, there it is.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, there it is.

SPEAKER_07

Like, it's just left and right, constantly.

SPEAKER_08

I mean, and it's so easy for him to do it because he's not living it, he's not there, he's not seeing what he's actually like what she's actually going through. And it sucks because it's like, would this still be a situation if they were together? Or is it is he only this rude just because they're not together anymore? She's his ex-wife, she's just like this glaring reminder of like his failed marriage and that he will never be able to he will always have a reminder of her through his like three daughters, you know. Like, that's just kind of where like I go with it, where it's like it's not like they decided to have any other children, but yeah, because him and Amy don't have any kids together, just the three girls, yeah. It's sad, it's just it's really sad, like the way that he's like treating it instead of being like, yo, what is going on? Like he just used it as like a oh, you're just trying to get like you know, brownie points with a judge. Like he saw it as like using the girls as like a weapon against him, yeah. And it's like not everything's about you, dude. Yeah. So going into part three, there's supposed to be this barbecue that's taking place on what Memorial Day. The family's supposed to get together at Cleo's dad's house.

SPEAKER_05

Yep, they're having out.

SPEAKER_08

Um, I'm wondering how this is going to go, considering the fact that Cleo is getting definitely more stressed with all the house stuff going on. So this barbecue is supposed to be kind of like another chance for the family to get together. Um, like I said, I'm kind of curious to see how this is gonna go with the things ramping up at the house for Cleo. She's approaching like the disheveled. Yeah. And she's kind of approaching the end of her half because like the book was ripped in half. So she's only got one half of this book that her mom annotated. And she did say that she And she's like, Where's the other half? Nobody knows. She's searched, can't find the other half.

SPEAKER_07

I know she can't even really ask because like the family's banned from reading it. So she's like, they can't know that I'm looking for it.

SPEAKER_08

So she she does like she's been trying to find like another copy online.

SPEAKER_07

Like we said before, it went like out of publish.

SPEAKER_08

So and so she's kind of she's kind of like nervous because she's like, I kind of want to read the rest of it, but she's like, Am I gonna feel sad because my mom's words, her her actual to guide me along so fucking journey?

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, so she's like kind of nervous because you're living through the exact situation that you like called somebody crazy for. Now you're living it, and then even though she's dead, she was still like you have to think Cleo probably felt like she was actually for the very first time of her like adult life and memory being supported by her mother, even in death. Now that's like ripped out from under her. It's so sad. It's really sad. And then what happens? It's like the ultimate betrayal. Yeah, but yeah, sorry, they're they're prepping for this big old party.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, yeah. So there's the party that's coming up, and then you know, her memories are starting to kind of resurface in addition to like what she's reading in the book. So she's kind of lining up the things that are taking place in the book with what she remembers as a kid, and so she's kind of like, Well, I mean, there was this situation, yeah, you know, the book is embellished a little bit, but she's also kind of like, Well, I mean, there was this, you know.

SPEAKER_07

And so she's kind of starting to question some stuff together. Is it that embellished? Yeah, and then am I starting to believe my mom more than I believe my dad?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, or even myself, like my own memories. Like what is reliable information and what's not?

SPEAKER_07

Because and she starts to feel like the outsider on the family, like she cannot, she's having connection issues with everybody. Yeah, the one person she knows she can trust is Austin.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, she does get like a little something from Daphne, but like Daphne is just kind of again. Daphne is like the buffer at this point.

SPEAKER_07

Cleo's head is a mess.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, it is. Like I said, this is messy. I feel like barbecue should be very interesting with how it's gonna be a shit show. Yeah, and things with Austin are heating up, they're getting a little closer.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I'm like, at least something's going right in her life.

SPEAKER_08

I just really hope that she doesn't like I'm like one of y'all's gonna end up dead.

SPEAKER_07

Like I still am putting all my money on Tommy hanging. From his tarot reading.

SPEAKER_08

Poor Tommy. I don't want anything bad to happen to the sweet boy.

SPEAKER_07

But which one would you rather have happen to? Austin or Tommy? I'm gonna say Tommy.

SPEAKER_05

That's like an impossible choice. I love Tommy. Yeah. But I just want something to work out for Cleo.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I feel like Austin's either could have.

SPEAKER_07

And I feel like Lena could handle. Like Lena's taking the loss of the mom much better. So I feel like she has the space. Nobody has a space to lose anybody, but no. If you know what I'm trying to say, she more has more of a space to lose than Cleo. And so that's why I choose Austin.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_07

I mean Tommy. Tommy.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

I choose Austin to live. Tommy's just such a sweet baby person. I know. He's but is he? I feel like do we even know anybody ever? I don't even know anymore. People are so good at fooling everybody. It's like everybody's grown to be like a sociopath.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

You know? That's fucked up world. Anyways, so my high thoughts.

SPEAKER_08

So she's falling for the neighbor, ignoring the blood in the garage. Yeah. And digging into a past her sisters want buried. Dig, dig, dig. Get your fucking shovel, ladies. I don't even know, dude. I don't know where this is gonna go. It's crazy. It's already crazy the way it is. And like I said, it genuinely gives me a couple of things. It's getting crazier.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, it does. No, this book, like I feel like if and then I just can't even think about where we're gonna go when we start reading that beast. Yeah. These books that we keep choosing this year are insane. They're just getting wilder and wilder, and I'm here for the ride.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

I am a long, I'm l wee. I'm loving it.

SPEAKER_08

It's crazy. So they've all been very good. Well, should we say goodbye? Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_07

Okay, we're tired. It is almost 12 30 a.m.

SPEAKER_08

I will say when we did the part one episode when we filmed that, like I got spooked. And as I was driving home, oh yeah, I was terrified. I was driving home, pitch black, dark, and there's like a cemetery that runs over the road. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

But during the day, y'all, it's like very well-kept, beautiful cemetery.

SPEAKER_08

But at night, I literally just tunnel vision through it. At night's still a cemetery. I can't imagine like looking over and like seeing like something like standing at his house.

SPEAKER_07

Have you ever seen the videos of people driving through cemeteries and their Teslas? Yes. And like it has the bodies. Glenn was talking to me. Was it last night? He wants to buy me a Tesla, the big SUV Tesla. You'd think it was a van, but it's not. And the doors are like Lamborghini style come out. It has seven seats. And and I, that's literally the first thing that popped into my mind was like, I'm gonna be able to like see coat, see ghosts.

SPEAKER_08

We'll be back next week for part three where the niceties start to truly fall away. Make sure to follow us on Patreon where we try to do everything as early as possible.

SPEAKER_07

But this is life, you guys. You've been along for the ride. You know how this works. We love you no matter what. Yeah. Yeah, so thanks for hanging out in the dark with us tonight. Stay cozy, keep the lights on, and remember some stories are meant to haunt you.

SPEAKER_06

Bye.
