In And Out Of Season
In the Apostle Paul's second letter to Timothy, his son in the ministry, he writes to Timothy to encourage him to preach the Word of God, and to be ready in and out of season. Seasons come and seasons go, but Timothy was to be ready to preach the Word regardless of the season he found, likely meaning regardless of how favorable to receiving the Word the audience to whom he preached was.
Dr. Timothy Brown has served in many different capacities, including the Pastor of three churches, on the Pastoral Staff of others, and as a Seminary Professor and Administrator. These times of service were "seasons" in his ministry, though perhaps different from the "seasons" Paul mentioned to Timothy. Yet, throughout these "seasons" Dr. Brown preached the Word, and even taught Preaching at the graduate level.
