Inspiring Hope – Episode 6

Energy Clearing & Alignment (Part 2)

Speaker:
Welcome to Inspiring Hope with Lois Hermann, a podcast that explores protection, healing, and personal empowerment through meaningful conversations and real-life stories. If you're sensitive, intuitive, or seeking clarity in this busy world, you've come to the right place.

Lois:
This is a continuation of the episode that we did with Scott.

Jill:
Fascinating. Scott was mentioning how you have to go back and ask people questions about childhood and past experiences. I actually had a question about that. I find that I don't remember a lot of my childhood. It felt very trauma-filled. My parents fought every single day. I was the youngest of three, and we all handled it differently.

I became the overachiever. I shut my door, blasted my music, and focused on school. My brother struggled and started using drugs very young. My sister became very quiet and shy. We each coped in our own way.

Sometimes my sister will ask, “Do you remember this?” or “Do you remember that?” and honestly, I don’t. I don’t even remember sitting down for dinner. Did I block all of that out?

Lois:
 Yes. It's compartmentalized.

Jill:
Just talking about it now is emotional.

Lois:
That's exactly why I changed how I work with clients. I used to do the intake first and then have clients come back a week later. But that week could be very difficult because the questions bring up buried emotions.

Now we combine the intake and the clearing in the same session. We gather the information during the first part and then immediately begin the work so that the client leaves with relief instead of carrying the emotional weight for a week.

That's one of the big differences between this work and traditional talk therapy.

Jill:
 Right.

Lois:
The fascinating part is that the other team members working with me do not know the client's story ahead of time. I have the background information, but they are reading the client's energy without prompting.

So if there are spirits or energies around the client, the team begins sensing and communicating with them without knowing the client's history.

Once we clear the interference in the first session, the goal of the second session is to help the client connect with their own guidance — whether that appears as a guide, Jesus, a fairy, or another spiritual presence.

Our purpose is to clear the energy so the client can receive their own information and guidance.

Jill:
 That makes sense.

Lois:
Many people have experienced drama or trauma. The subconscious mind protects us by compartmentalizing memories.

With hypnosis we ask the subconscious mind if it is okay to briefly look at a memory in order to resolve it. Then the subconscious can close it again afterward.

Most people remember everything afterward, but sometimes when the trauma is severe the subconscious closes that memory again — and that is perfectly okay.

The mind is fascinating.

Jill:
So it's normal for people to feel like they don't remember parts of their childhood?

Lois:
Yes. The conscious mind may not remember, but the subconscious stores every memory — including past life memories.

When we are born, we pass through what many traditions call the veil of forgetfulness. Later, when we are ready, we can explore past experiences to understand what may still be affecting us today.

The goal is not curiosity about who we were in a past life. The goal is to understand what needs to be resolved now.

Jill:
That makes a lot of sense.

I also wanted to ask something else. I feel very sensitive to the other side. I talk to my mom who passed away. She died in my home, and I was able to hold her hand. It was actually beautiful.

I talk about death often, and people think that’s strange, but I think it’s an important part of life.

Lois:
Not strange at all. In fact, there are people called death doulas who help guide individuals through the transition of death.

In many ways, our work overlaps with that because we communicate with those who have passed.

Many people talk to loved ones on the other side but haven't trained themselves to receive communication back. Part of what we do is help people learn to see, sense, and feel those messages.

Jill:
 That's incredible.

Lois:
If your mother passed peacefully while holding your hand, it’s very likely she moved into what we call the light.

Sometimes people who die with unresolved anger or sadness remain in between for a time, and our work is to help those souls move into healing.

Jill:
 Wow.

Lois:
Dreams are another way people connect with the unseen. If you remember dreams vividly or they resurface in your mind later, it often means you're spiritually sensitive and very tuned into those energies.

Jill:
 I definitely feel that.

Lois:
Children often have what adults call imaginary playmates. Many times, those are spiritual helpers.

Children are naturally open to the unseen world. Unfortunately, when adults dismiss those experiences, children often shut down those abilities.

Instead, we should help guide and nurture those gifts responsibly.

Jill:
 That’s fascinating.

When did you realize you had these abilities?

Lois:
Looking back, I always had them. As a child, I loved going into the woods and imagining conversations with fairies. That was my way of escaping stress at home.

Later, when I became a Reiki Master Teacher, I had my first clear spiritual vision. At first, I thought it couldn’t be real, but the guidance kept coming, and eventually, I learned to trust it.

Now I regularly receive guidance from spiritual mentors and guides that help with this work.

Jill:
 Beautiful.

Lois:
Energy Clearing & Alignment works on four levels: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. When those levels are cleared and aligned, people reconnect with their purpose and their light.

Our goal is to help people shine their light — and protect it.
