SPEAKER_05Um, we're sitting a little different because uh I'm going to be doing DMing the second episode of our one shot, which is now a two-shot, called Real Housewives of Narcisum. And we're gonna be doing that immediately after this.

SPEAKER_01I feel like that's and and that's chemistry.
SPEAKER_04That's chemistry, and that's beautiful. Yeah, I know that personally, uh, usually I have the screen to block what I'm doing with my hands, and what I'm doing with my hands is usually whittling um during every episode.

SPEAKER_04Yeah, I definitely remember everything that happened. Yeah, we're we're we're trying out a new thing where we're not recording the talk backs the same day. We're giving it a little room to breathe and then we're going through and talking about it.
SPEAKER_01Because we get too overwhelmed. Some space for reflection, so we're not quite in the moment. We get overstimulated. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05And then I talk for uh 45 minutes and they listen. We love it. We love it.

SPEAKER_04Um, I we have that. We um uh uh like to do this with space for reflection so that we can also have time to like watch subway surfers and family guy clips and just sort of like have that going while we're talking to each other. Yeah, a variety of YouTube shorts. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04There was a no, it is, and that's where we're at right now as a people.
SPEAKER_02There's a point in high school where I had it was a like the weekly highest subway surfers score.

SPEAKER_04Well, that's it. Let's start talking about the episode. What did we do? Let's so you started off fighting that big sneaky little spider. Terrifying, scary spooky.
SPEAKER_01That was kind of fun, though. I liked that combat. It was fun.
SPEAKER_00It was fun, but it was also uh um a hollowed-out man filled with a spider's head.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, but that's kind of par for the course, you know. Um spiders are doing that.
SPEAKER_02If it's not a basilisk, it's a spider with a man head.
SPEAKER_01It's it's a plague town. Of course, there's gonna be a crusty spider in a man's body.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I've I've talked a little bit about how that's based on like a Hollow Knight boss, um, which I have not played, I've just seen him, and he looks cool. Um, and so I found a stat block for that boss that someone had converted to DD, and I was like, oh, perfect, that's around the right CR. That's like everything we're looking for. And then I started running the combat, and I was like, oh, this is not a complete stat block. Like, I was like, it was supposed to be CR10, but he had one attack that dealt 1d6 damage. Um he had like no hit points. It was like a really bad stat block that I didn't look at in detail. So I like quickly was like, um, uh uh, he has three attacks. Fuck.
SPEAKER_02Ah, interesting.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Which is funny.
SPEAKER_02I assumed you were telling us the truth.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. No, I made I made it. I lied.
SPEAKER_00You buffed him up a little.

SPEAKER_04Yeah. Um, as I was like, fuck, fuck, fuck.
SPEAKER_01It needs to have babies.

SPEAKER_02Yeah, I've enjoyed the transformation of Patch into kind of a little fighter.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02He's still not very strong, like, compared to Rex. He doesn't do as much damage. Um yeah, it's fun to put him in.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. He gets two attacks plus a clanky.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, plus uh yeah, plus a bonus.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I mean he's a battlesmith for battle.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. He's battling.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Um and Rex.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I was just gonna jump to w meeting the prior.
SPEAKER_04The profit is the profiter. But but I was gonna say Rex got um some some rage in him.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I feel like I hadn't killed any Rex hadn't killed anything in a while.
SPEAKER_02You haven't.
SPEAKER_05Um and and so that was that was a fun dynamic to bring back. And I it is very metagamey where we're like, where I'm like, okay, someone do damage to me, so I'm not enraged anymore. Uh, but I do think it's funny.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was a fun moment.
SPEAKER_02And Rex would have recognized at that point, like, oh, I stop feeling this way after I get it.
SPEAKER_05Like fucked up a little bit.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah. I I I it was funny. We were talking about it right before this, but it was funny Rex needing to be hit like eight times, trying not to overdo it, trying not to underdo it.
SPEAKER_00Well, Patch did one damage, right? I did.
SPEAKER_01But and then you didn't we tried again, and then it didn't like succeed against your armor class, I think. And then I just kicked you in the balls.
SPEAKER_05Yes, yeah, and that that was a very fun conclusion. Yeah, I enjoyed it.
SPEAKER_01That's it, the trick. Sometimes, if you're ever mad, factory reset. I think you need to get kicked on the point.
SPEAKER_05That is truly a factory reset. It's uh it is not fun. Not for me, it just feels normal.

SPEAKER_05Well, I don't uh this was a year ago, which is how many minotaurs do we know? We know uh two. We know Mogus, which is it definitely wasn't Mogus. Right. Yeah. We know um Toby. Toby, which was the first mate. Right, yeah. And I don't know the last one.
