Episode: 21 Jakey, helping to clean out the closets!

Although I have posted a story about the closet debacle, I thought this one was pretty funny and I got Jake to help out a lot this time to clean up his OCD mess!  😵‍💫Some may think that I should try and stop this behavior, but with autism and OCD you need to pick and choose your battles in my opinion! He enjoys it. It gives him something to do and I think it makes him feel like he has some control in his home. #autism awareness

You think it's just funny? This so far is what I've taken out of the closet this morning. Uh-huh. Yeah, this is what Jakey does every night. This isn't even all of it. Now I'm trying to figure out the whole paper towel incidents. The roll of the towels, I guess he decided to just unroll and throw them all in the closet. Yes. Yes. Pretty much everything that's in the living room, Jakey has thrown in the closet. And you think this is funny, don't you? Do you think it's funny? Do you think it's funny? Are you gonna help mommy? Here. Why don't you carry that in for mommy? Yeah? Thank you. Alright. Can't show any underwear. We're still working on the closet. Well, we got we got the Grinch. Mr. Grinch. Here. Take Mr. Grinch. No, take Mr. Grinch in for me. Thank you. What else have we got in here? Oh my goodness. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Great. Alexa. I found Alexa. He's in the closet. What else? Okay, we got blankies in the closet. That's nothing new. Let's check out this closet. This side. Oh my. Okay. We got your basket. We got your basket this morning. We got another toy. Why don't you come here, Jakey? Here, take that toy in for me. He's a good helper. Alright. We made that for him a while ago. That's in the closet. Christmas toy. Okay, I guess that's enough for now. Yeah, a couple more. Yeah. And Jakey thinks it's funny, don't ya? You think it's funny? Yeah, you want me to bring this out, don't ya? Yes. You gonna help me carry it? You got it? Okay, carry your basket of clothes. We're carrying the basket of clothes out. Every morning we do this. And then people wonder why my house isn't very clean. Because I don't have time to clean the house. Do I, Jakey? No. No. I don't have time to clean the house. Because you throw everything in the closet. Yes, we're gonna have to put your toys back up on the on top of the fireplace. We don't keep anything else on top of the fireplace because Jakey takes it down. Don't you? You think you're funny. You think you're funny, don't you? Okay, you're not gonna burp in front of the camera. Jake's galled. That's my morning, every morning. Wait a minute, wait a minute. Ouch, ouch, stop pulling me. That hurts. Let's see what else we got here. Jamie, Jamie likes to be involved. Every morning, Jakey gets involved, and Jamie gets involved. We all go look in the closet. What's in this closet? Well, we got Mickey. Take Mickey out. Go take Mickey out. Oh, you're thinking this is funny. Yeah, this is real funny, Jakey. Alright. He does help me bring it all out though, which is nice.
