Sometimes the best reminder of God’s faithfulness is found in looking back.

In this episode of Coffee Talk, we’re reflecting on the photos, memories, and seasons that tell the story of where we’ve been—and how far God has brought us. From seasons of joy and abundance to seasons of heartbreak, anxiety, depression, and uncertainty, every chapter has played a role in shaping who we are today.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, discouraged, or wondering if God is still working in your life, this conversation is for you. Sometimes we become so focused on what hasn’t happened yet that we forget the prayers He has already answered and the battles He has already brought us through.

Join me as we take a look back, celebrate growth, recognize God’s hand in every season, and find encouragement to keep moving forward. The same God who carried you then is the same God carrying you now.

Your story isn’t over. God isn’t finished. And your next season may be closer than you think.

Scripture Reference: Ephesians 3:20

Good morning, beautiful queens and kings, too. As I was getting ready for bed last night, I picked up my phone for what I thought would be just a few minutes. Instead, it turned into hours of endless scrolling through old photos and videos. Some of those images made me laugh, some made me cry, some made me shake my head and wonder, Lord, how did I make it through that season? Because behind every photo and every video was a story. Some stories held joy, some held sadness, some held anxiety and depression, some held anger, some held healing, some held growth, and some held forgiveness. Some held moments where I was fully sold out for God, and others held moments where I didn't even know how to pick up my Bible. As I scrolled, I realized I wasn't just looking at pictures. I was looking at seasons. Seasons where I was broken, seasons where I was thriving, seasons where I was unhealthy, seasons where I was getting my life together, seasons where I was surviving, and now a season where I am intentionally striving to live life abundantly. Looking back reminded me of something very powerful. I am not who I used to be. There are times in life when we need to just look back. I mean, look back. Not to stay there, but to remember where God has brought you from. Some of you feel stuck right now. Some of you feel like nothing is moving. Some of you are wondering if God is working on your behalf. But I challenge you today, take a look back. Look back at the prayers he has already answered. Look back at the doors he has already opened. Look back at the battles he already brought you through. Look back at the seasons where you didn't know how you were going to make it, but somehow you did. I can look at pictures from seasons when I didn't have enough, seasons where I was struggling emotionally, seasons where I was struggling financially, physically, seasons when I felt lost, seasons when I questioned everything. Yet here I stand. Not because I was strong enough, not because I had all the answers, but because the same God who carried me then is carrying me now. That same God who provided in my season of lack is the same God who is providing in my season of abundance. The seasons changed, but God never did. Sometimes we stay stagnant because we forget how far we've come. We focus so much on what hasn't happened yet that we overlook the miracles that already have. Today, I want you to stop focusing on what isn't and start thinking about what can be and start thanking God for what was, what is, and what is still to come. You have a choice. You can stay attached to your past, your upbringing, your disappointments, your lack, and your excuses. Or you can choose to move forward. You can choose healing, you can choose growth, you can choose obedience, you can choose abundance. No, not every season was good, but every season had a purpose. And if you're honest, some of the hardest seasons created the strongest version of you. So today, take a look back, not to relive like the pain of it all, but just to recognize your progress and then keep moving forward. God is not finished with your story. Now unto him who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we could ask or think. Ephesians 3 and 20. I pray you all have an amazing day. May God continue to bless your life with wisdom, peace, favor, and abundance. Keep growing, keep believing, keep becoming. Love you dearly.
