Rise and Fix in 26
Rise and Fix in ’26 is a practical framework for personal and professional renewal delivered one deliberate action at a time. The series challenges the instinct to seek external solutions by focusing on ownership, discipline, and behavioural change. Through steady execution, small actions compound into capability, clarity, and measurable progress.

Episode 12 - Positivity Is Trained, Not Assumed
Look out for my next installment in a fortnight - Rise and Fix 26
Rise and Fix Part 12. Hi, this is Peter and I hope you're all well. Rise and Fix in 2026 is a fortnightly leadership series focused on discipline, self-improvement through small intentional actions that compound interlasting results. This series is built on one principle: meaningful change comes from deliberate action, not intention alone. Across 26 focus episodes, the series explores practical disciplines that strengthen leadership, sharpen thinking, and improve execution from clarity and accountability to consistency, focus and ownership. Each episode introduces a single action designed to be applied immediately. No complexity, no noise, just clear thinking and disciplined follow-through. This is not about transformation through motivation, it's about progress through repetition. It's about simple messages. Rise with intent, fix what matters, and build results that last. Today's episode is all about positivity is trained, not assumed. Mindset is developed through repetition. Positivity is a discipline built through conscious thought and behaviour. Positivity isn't a personality trait. It's actually a discipline. Let me repeat that important point. Positivity is trained, not assumed. Left unmanaged, thinking often defaults to doubt, criticism, or negativity. Training it requires intention. It's about choosing perspective, reframing challenges, focusing on solutions, not ignoring reality but approaching it constructively. Over time that discipline reshapes mindset, and mindset shapes outcomes. Train your thinking and your results will follow. Several years ago, a project manager named Sarah faced a major setback when a team's proposal for a key client was well and truly rejected. Instead of allowing negativity to dominate her thinking, Sarah intentionally gathered a team to review the feedback in a constructive light. She encouraged open discussion about the improvements and fostered an environment focused really on growth rather than blame. Sounds familiar, right? Over the following weeks, the team applied the lessons, learned, refined their proposals, and ultimately secured the client's trust on their next attempt. This disciplined approach to positive thinking not only transformed the immediate outcome but also strengthened the team's resilience for future challenges. Next episode is all about I recover quickly and move forward with discipline. Bye for now.
