In episode 331 of The Just Checking In Podcast we checked back in with Colm Brett.
Colm is now the Founder and CEO of Arctic Event Solutions, which provides towable refrigerated trailers for hire to the live events space, including concerts and festivals.
In this episode we discuss why he stepped away from the live events space full-time, building the business, and the freedom its given him in still being able to do freelance work in the space whilst having a much better routine and structure.
We also discuss the benefits and challenges of being an entrepreneur and self-employed, and the new skills it’s given him.
For Colm’s continued mental health journey, we talk about how he has become a lot better at expressing vulnerability and taking off the mask around people.
We also talk about the role his long-term partner has played in the progress he’s made, and the joy that’s come into his life with the dog he and his partner decided to adopt!
