SPEAKER_02

Welcome to Tile Talk with Christina, Elizabeth, and Marshall.

SPEAKER_04

Your go-to podcast for all things Mahjong. We are gonna deep dive into all things Mahjong.

SPEAKER_02

Let's go. Roll the dice. That's right.

SPEAKER_04

All right. What do we got going on? We have episode six. It is episode six. Here we go.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. I am very excited about this one. Me too. As we are diving into this 2026 card. Yeah. Trying to get comfortable, trying to learn it as quick as we can so we can play as well as we can.

SPEAKER_04

We're back at it. We want to talk more about this 2026 card. So this is like the Tile Talk official 2026 card review.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

Um, with uh an added fun section. We're gonna call the card code names. Yes. Um, we're gonna continue a little bit of what Bubby brought to the table for the last episode. You guys asked and we listened. Um, you enjoyed the little different names that we were coming up with and that Bubby has always done for her cards and um Yes, and just really helps you commit it to memory and um makes it super fun. It's a favorite. We had some fun doing it. So we're excited to share what we've got, and we'll get into that after we kind of do a run through of the card. But first, welcome, welcome, yeah, welcome.

SPEAKER_02

Episode six. Episode six.

SPEAKER_04

How's everybody doing?

SPEAKER_02

I'm doing good, I'm doing really good. I'm like finally getting excited about summer, not freaking out about getting all my ducks in a row. Um, though my ducks are not really in a row, but I'm I'm just okay with it now. You're great at winging it. I am, and you know, um, what's not to love? It's summer, it's family and fun. Yeah, the boys are are wrapping it really and just into sports completely. Like it's every night at the ball field, which is which is fun, but also a lot. Yeah. Um, yeah, I'm having to get real creative with dinners. I saw Marshall at the ball field. You did it. I was pulling out. He was I was pulling in, you were pulling out. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

We've been there at the same time a few times too. I know from far. So is this happening everywhere? I have a girl, so I and I didn't grow up playing softball or baseball or anything. I mean, I did with like family and then PE and whatever. But um, I was always, we were my friends and I were always into soccer, but Violet and all of her friends, um, they have been playing softball for years, and it seems like I see everyone I know at the ballpark. I know.

SPEAKER_02

I'm with you. When I when I was growing up, all my girlfriends played soccer. All my guyfriends played soccer. That was like the thing to do.

SPEAKER_04

That was my sport. I don't know, and I'm learning so much.

SPEAKER_02

I'm learning. I know, and I don't know what to say. I like, I'm like, good job. I have no idea like the terminology. I just repeat what other people have saying. I get excited. Violet will score a point, and they're like, it's a run. I know. It's a run.

unknown

Good job.

SPEAKER_02

I know. Hey, we're we're out there.

SPEAKER_04

We're out there. You know, look at us. I've got my little chair and my hat.

SPEAKER_00

I know, yeah. There's something about the ballpark, too. I know, I know.

SPEAKER_04

And they've got the hot dogs and the hamburgers and all the kids running around. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we're out there twice a week right now. I'm loving it. It's not too hot yet. Right. Oh, we have been so lucky in Tallahassee with this weather the last three weekends. I know. And that was lovely. I'm not ready for the heat of summer. I do not, I don't know how I live in Playhouse.

SPEAKER_00

I know. That's that's why when you're talking about, oh, I'm ready for summer, I'm like, I'm a little scared. I know. That's I am reveling in this beautiful weather. I know. I know.

SPEAKER_02

It's coming for us, guys. It is coming for us. I'd like to pump the brakes where we are. Yeah, I know. Can we just come in? I know.

SPEAKER_00

Spring is always the best in Tallahassee. It's like my favorite, and that is. It is. But then it's so short-lived. Yeah, it's the smallest window. It's a small window.

SPEAKER_02

It's coming for us. Well, and we do have we had we just had Springtime Tallahassee Parade and Springtime Festivals in Tallahassee two weekends ago. And then this weekend we have the Lemoyne Arts Festival, which is a chain of parks. Yes. It's probably the biggest event Tallahassee has, and it's so well done. Amazing artists are awesome.

SPEAKER_04

And they're from all over the place. Really, really. You can see and buy like the most amazing art. I literally won't buy anything year-round because I'm just I do that too. I just save up and I wait. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I'm like, I'm gonna go find the perfect thing.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna get something for there, my manly corner of decoration.

SPEAKER_02

I wonder whether we should get it. We'll have to um get some treasures for our sets. That's a great idea.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we maybe a Florida sunset, something nice. Yeah. I'll stay away from the gator thing. You know, we'll go neutral.

SPEAKER_02

Well, Marshall, you do you. Well, but we did, we missed you so much. We I'm even I'm not even sad about the gators because I'm just glad you're back. Yes. You can hang your half gator flaged in the corner. We did notice that the gator was on top.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, that that must be like a print thing. That's just I think you did notice that. That was the only one that I could purchase.

SPEAKER_02

I bet. I bet. We're gonna let that slide. Don't know about that one. We shall see what will come. So enjoy it.

SPEAKER_04

Enjoy it.

SPEAKER_02

Keep it in your corner. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um I wanted to share something, an update from Bubby, by the way. So she texted me last night um with the funnest news. So she declared that she had a white whale. Alrighty! The hand. Oh my god, that's really quick. Well, go, Bubby. She achieved it last night. She won on the 369 hand in singles and pairs. And she's like, what am I gonna do for the rest of the year? That was fast. She's gonna have to get pick another one. She's swimming through that card. I know. I know. So anyway, congratulations, Bubby. That's great. Awesome. I know. I couldn't believe it. That's a really good idea.

SPEAKER_03

But I was fun to hear from her.

SPEAKER_04

We caught up a little bit recently. So I'm excited about that. Excellent. Yeah. All right, let's talk about our tablescape really quickly. So we've got this gorgeous matte by T-Gray. It's um T Gray de Tartan. I feel like I botched that. Um, but it's the coconut peony matte, and her stuff is so beautiful. It's like this leathery, like vegan leather, I believe. Feel or is it real leather?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I think it's vegan. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

I'm not sure. Anyway, it's absolutely beautiful. It really is. And the tiles just so with all the spilling that we do. This just makes so much sense. I've got it paired with the tortoise rucks. Um, I changed it this week just a little bit. And then we've got the um Oh my mahjong Palm Royale tiles. And every time I take these out, everyone wants to know what they are. They're super versatile, they're really beautiful. Um, really great for summertime, too, with the bamboo backs. They're very springy.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I love the bamboo backs. I think that's really that's really beautiful and very different. Yeah, and they're kind of striped. Yeah, fun. I'm a sucker for stripes.

SPEAKER_04

Tell us about the flowers.

SPEAKER_02

Well, today we have geraniums, the red geraniums right here. And this is what we'll pop that about pop that guy back in there. Um this is what I told you you should plant put on your porch because they bloom. No, they're not really you do kind of want to prune them like as they as they flower and pop them off, and they'll just keep reblooming. But they don't need a whole lot of sun, they don't need a whole lot of water, they're very easy. Um, and they just get really good color all through the year. You just keep fertilize them a couple times a year. And not a whole lot of sun that works to me.

SPEAKER_00

Remember, Christina's got a black dog.

SPEAKER_04

Just a little bit of water on the very perfect time.

SPEAKER_02

Well, or then maybe ferns might be your your next option here. Behind you, we have a lot of different ferns that are growing in off in my yard right now. Yeah. I love greenery. And they are coming back with a vengeance after the freeze this year, so they're really healthy. Everything's in bloom, and they do not need much maintenance. So that might be your way to go. It's just an asparagus fern. That's all right. We're changing your asparagus fern. Asparagus fern.

SPEAKER_00

Can you propagate those?

SPEAKER_02

Perfect.

SPEAKER_00

Vegetable flowers.

SPEAKER_02

The geraniums I have tried with not much success, but I haven't tried that hard.

SPEAKER_00

What about the ferns?

SPEAKER_02

Ferns, yes, definitely. And really, they have such a shallow root system. If you pop some up uh and you can plant them anywhere else or put them in a pot, they'll they'll start proliferating pretty easily. Yeah. Yeah. I got it. That sounds easy. That's more up my alley.

SPEAKER_00

He kind of became a plant daddy. Yeah. And he was like kind of getting into it a little bit, and then he just propagated like everything. Yes. What are the ones that hang? Are they like?

SPEAKER_04

So that I have propagated all over my house because they will last forever just in a bowl of water. Like the roots take off in the water, and if you change out the water, and then they're in these really cool draws. I've had those for years. Um that's that's that's the extent of what I can take care of.

SPEAKER_02

I do that at Halloween. I'll put a bunch of like coleus and all stuff that will root like that in water, and I put them in weird-looking vases. And then you don't see the root system in there. I know, I know. It's cool.

SPEAKER_00

Continuing on that green thumb, we bought um beacon violet shades and pantoms. I don't know. Uh and we planted them with the girls with modern bouilles. And then we did a lemon tree as well. And I remember it. So that was on Monday evening. Yeah. So we just went to Home Depot, got some stuff, and it was great. Great afternoon during the witching hour. Loved it. That's awesome.

SPEAKER_02

And how exciting. A lemon tree. That's so great. Yeah. Steele was helping me in the yard this weekend too, and he was eating an apple and was determined to plant apple seeds. And I was like, I don't really think, but we did. We'll see. We planted all four. See if it takes. Opened up the apple, got all the seeds out, planted each one in a different pot. He was and then every day he's been like, I gotta go check them. I'm like, it's gonna be a while, buddy. It's blessed. He's like, I see it. I'm like, You need to go buy an apple tree and put it in the book. We'll see. Yikes. All right, what are we drinking right now? Well, okay, so we're doing, we're going for a two-film day here. We're gonna film two episodes. So, and since we were diving into the 2026 card, I thought we really needed to keep it strong, clean. Like Bubby says, there's a coffee game and a wine game. And this is our coffee and tea game. That's right. We've got two. We need to keep our head on a swivel and be on top of it. So that's right. We're gonna knock this one out, and then the next episode we get to bust out the fundraising.

SPEAKER_04

I'm gonna talk about my tea though, really quickly. I love tea. So we're having I have a mix of green tea and lemon balm. Um, if everybody knows the health benefits, I think of green tea, lemon balm is similar to like Ashwagonda. It's an adapted gin, it's kind of a mood booster and helps you adapt to stress. So every I gave everyone a little lemon balm today. So we're gonna have a good time. Yeah, I can already feel it.

SPEAKER_02

Let's cheers. Cheers. Cheers, Marshall. So nice to have you back.

SPEAKER_04

I know. Chris was wonderful, he did a great job. He was awake.

SPEAKER_00

He's the man.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. So thanks for sending him to us last episode. Of course. Yes. Thank you, Chris. Appreciate it.

SPEAKER_02

All right, what's blowing in the wind? Oh my goodness. Okay, so I had a lot of fun with this one. This is crazy. And we were we both of us went to a master's party this past Sunday to watch the Masters. One of our good friends who um lives here in town loves the Masters, loves golf. He's a fantastic player. And his birthday is usually the day or the day after the Masters. So annually we always go to their house and party it up, and it's a wonderful time. We had so much fun, and um, his wife really does a great job. Yeah, it's such a favorite tradition. She does all the the Pemina cheese sandwiches, and um, yeah, it's it's just wonderful. We have a great time, and the boys all sat and watched golf, and we all sat and played mahjong. That's all we did. We had three tables going. It was wonderful. And we had it was great too because like one table was playing with blanks, one table was playing standard, you know, national National Mahjong League rules, and then the second, the third table was kind of rotating in and out with kids, and they were kind of playing different variations, whoever what kid was playing. But it was just magical. I loved everything. It was the best day.

SPEAKER_04

There is no better day. Yes, yeah, and we had a huge screen of the masters going on outside. We were all under tents.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, it was beautiful weather too.

SPEAKER_04

The weather was perfect. So we were we were just all crowded together outside, but like enjoying our favorite things.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it was it was glorious. And then we got some wonderful news from our friend Ashley.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, she our beautiful host.

SPEAKER_02

And I don't know who. I didn't I didn't even ask her. I was so amazed. I didn't even ask her who. Somebody went to the masters and got her the set. The set. The set. So I'm sure you probably know the Oh My Mahjong Masters set exclusively designed. Exclusively designed by O My Mahjong for the Masters. This is the first year they've ever done this. Only it was released here in person. Only at Berkman's place. That's not even at the other, you know, tents where they not everybody can shop there. It is like an exclusive, it was just, I mean, you have to, it's like the invitation only area. Like it's special, yeah. Very special.

SPEAKER_04

Well, not only that, not only did you have to have the right pass to get in and shop at Berkman's, but you have to also get there the minute it opened because it took about 18 minutes to sell out of a hundred sets. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Well, they they released a hundred each day. Right. But yes, it so it's they're super, super rare. I mean, very cool. But they they did a great job. I mean, they, you know, they used all the kind of quintessential masters motifs, the yellow flag, the green no, the garden gnomes. I love the gnome. Yeah, the pin. Yes. I have a note about that. But um, yeah, I mean, it was it's super cute. It's adorable, and I love the um the backing of it is really cute. Check it out online. And you you know, they also there was a custom mat, um, custom box. I really loved the um dice bag too. Did you see that?

SPEAKER_04

Changed it for the first time ever, I think. It's pretty cute.

SPEAKER_02

And the embroidered masters logo is really sweet. So it was it was adorable and a little carrying bag, too. So um, and so if you were one of those very lucky special people.

SPEAKER_04

So wait, I have a question. Yes. When you bought it at Berkman's, was it priced more than like a typical O my mahjong set?

SPEAKER_02

No, not from what I could tell, but it wasn't like a set. You had to buy the three different, those like the tile set you can buy, and the mat was separate, and then the bag was separate. All about um uh really totaling about$580 for all of that. And I think that was it's still about the stand standard comparable. It seemed to be the standard size and pricing for that's oh my mahjong has for all their sets. However, if you go on eBay right now, I just pulled it up. Yeah, it's what are you saying? I think like$5,000 is like the lowest. Yep.

SPEAKER_00

And it's going up to$9,000.

SPEAKER_02

I've saw one for$9,000.

SPEAKER_00

And this one is$9,000.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Wow.

SPEAKER_04

That's a resale on eBay. Yes. As high as$9,000. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

unknown

Wow.

SPEAKER_02

Isn't that insane? That is insane. It's really crazy. But our friend Ashley is gonna get one. I don't know how much she's gonna. Get one. She needs to sell it. I know. Well, she might after she. She would never we can't let her. She's gonna absolutely. Her husband, no way. Yeah, but no very so um, and when she gets it, we're gonna try to get our hands on it so we can use it for one of our episodes.

SPEAKER_04

She told me the minute I walked into the party, and she and I screamed and jumped up and down so loud, every everyone was like, That's hilarious. Nobody knew what we were talking about or what we were so excited about. We had to pull it up and show everybody, but yeah, we pooped our pants. We were so excited.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's it's really cute. Uh, and there are some other golf themed tile sets that are available if you were not a lucky, lucky ducky.

SPEAKER_04

There are some beautiful ones.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Um, the Charleston Mahjong Club and offers country club, and the Southern Sparrow offers the Augusta Azalea. Yeah. Um, and they're about$400 or$500 a piece. And they pretty much use, you know, you can kind of tell it's I mean, they use azaleas, and and I think in even in their descriptions, they reference um the masters in golf and country clubs. But there was another one considering that you and I had seen before, um, and it was the Fairways and Flowers set. Yes. It was adorable. I know it had the green stripes on the back. Stripes on the back. It was so well done. It was really cute. Um, I it was popping up on my feed a lot, but they uh apparently Augusta National did not like that. They they're they're really aggressive about yeah, they don't play any games. Like they no, they'll come after anybody. Um and I was actually looking on the um Mahjong That's It Facebook group about this, and people were saying, Oh, but they really liked the tiles, they missed them, they were really sad, they were discontinued. Yeah, they're kind of speculating on what I wonder what about those really set off Augusta National, if it was, you know, the red the yellow flag. Something about the stripes on the umbrella, maybe, which is interesting because the Oh My Mahjong set used the same motif for um that and maybe that was the conflict because they already knew they were. The other one came out first, but maybe the other one was already in production and they didn't, I don't know. But it's really kind of interesting how the other big companies are still able to sell their tiles that mimic Augusta stuff, and then this one one little small company got kind of got shut down for it. But yeah, that's unfortunate. Just it's you know copyright stuff is a bitch. Yeah, I get it, and it's really bad right now.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, um, yeah, but especially for masters, they're gonna they're not gonna let you know.

SPEAKER_02

They do not play, they do not play, but I just love that um you know, they're they thought of this that the Augusta, like I don't know if you know, Oma Mahjong approached them first or whatever, but I love the collab. I think more collabs are just super fun. So we love a collab. Why don't we ask our um listeners to comment about what collabs they would like to see? Oh, I like that. I know, yeah, it's kind of just spawn behind.

SPEAKER_04

I recently saw uh and I saved it because I was kind of looking for something else, and I was like, I've gotta come back to this. But it was like McDonald's, it was like a McDonald's set, but it looks like legit McDonald's, and I was like, what am I looking at? Is this AI? So anyway, I have it saved. I gotta go figure out what that was.

SPEAKER_01

That was a hilarious set. Wow.

SPEAKER_02

I bet there's some wild ones. I mean, we've seen some really crazy sets. Yeah, there's a Hello Kitty one I saw. Yeah, I've yeah.

SPEAKER_00

What about any movie sets?

SPEAKER_02

There's an I've seen an Alice in Wonderland. There is an Alice in Wonderland. It's really cool and you know Marshall.

SPEAKER_00

Star Wars would be cool. Yeah, that'd be sick. Lightsabers.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Oh my god. What?

SPEAKER_00

Chewbacca.

SPEAKER_02

All right, we need to we need to copyright that right now.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm sure Disney will be super cool if we just design our own stuff.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, we'll reach out, we'll reach out ASAP to Disney on this. But I my only critique my only critique on the Omay Mahjong Masters tiles was um, and these are two of my favorite things is architecture and flowers. Yeah. They did do a great job of highlighting those those elements of the masters, but they were they're all together on the flower tiles. Yeah. And it's kind of it's like too, it's hard to read, it's too much. And I wish they had given the each of those things more of a priority. And they went with a di some different flowers, not just azaleas. And there are so many types of azaleas, I feel like they could have just stayed in that lane and been more consistent. It's iconic, the azaleas. I mean, weird.

SPEAKER_04

It's they're beautiful, they're gorgeous, but that was my only takeaway is I felt like I will form um a better opinion after actually. See play on them. Yeah, yes. Super cool, super cool. Showcase them for one of our episodes. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I bet you maybe maybe that's the episode I learn on. Or would that be like? Good luck.

SPEAKER_04

She'll have it framed by then.

SPEAKER_00

We gotta wear white gloves while touching them.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, yeah. Maybe that's the rule. I mean, it's a$9,000 sitting, Marshall. Handle with care. I'm pretty sure that's what like the Louis Vuitton sets and the sets are going for. Oh wow. Here comes my mahjong.

SPEAKER_02

I do have a caddy outfit because I lost a fantasy football bet. She does. Sadly.

SPEAKER_04

My husband has one too. That was awful.

SPEAKER_02

So you can wear his.

SPEAKER_00

Does that go with your uh that's not what it says?

SPEAKER_02

Does it say Nani on the back? Yeah, see, we're ready, we're ready, we're ready to go. We've got our outfits planned already for this.

SPEAKER_04

Oh my gosh, we do.

SPEAKER_02

Great. Okay. Let's move along. That was that was pretty windy. So is it time to get in? Is it the night? Yes. Let's do it. Is that what we call it?

SPEAKER_00

Are we doing any blowing in the wind? That was our blowing in the wind. Are we doing anything after?

SPEAKER_04

What's in your teacup?

SPEAKER_00

A lot of ash from bells.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, we oh. What's in your teacup? Okay, all right. Yes, Marshall. We have a new segment, ladies and gentlemen. It is called Marshall's Manly Minute.

SPEAKER_04

We're testing it out this episode.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, this is uh this is a test run.

SPEAKER_04

Um as he's surrounded by floral mats. I know. God, yeah, I just hear. Give us a give us your manliest minute, Marshall.

SPEAKER_00

So this is just for everybody for our female audience, our male audience, um, just kind of gonna run through quickly things that are happening, sports stuff, um, just just gonna rip through some stuff. All right, so yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Uh so maybe if you talk about these things, then they'll then they'll tolerate you talking about mahjong for hours.

SPEAKER_00

Exactly. Exactly. Yeah, these are these are mainly aimed at our female audience to kind of throw some connectors to your male counterpart, you know, like, oh wow, so excited that. Rory won the Masters back to back. Yeah. Isn't it so great? You know, especially after his triple bogey on whatever it was in 2011, you know, it like really drops some deep cut facts.

SPEAKER_04

Drop some heat, so we sound legit.

SPEAKER_00

Exactly. If you've run out of things to talk about, just save this, keep this in your back. If you guys need to connect, all right. So we got NBA playoffs coming up. That's gonna be exciting. Um, do you think OKC will repeat the championship?

SPEAKER_02

Or do you think OKC will repeat the championship?

SPEAKER_00

Or do you think one of the young, newcoming teams like Atlanta or Detroit, who secured the number one site uh seed in the East, will sweep it away and win. Okay. That's a good one.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna need this in text form. I have no idea what's going on right now. You know who I'm really gonna impress is my children.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly. Okay, another another great one switching sports. Okay. Um, oh man, I love the MLB ABS review system. What do you think about it, honey? I think it's a great way to keep the umps honest while still maintaining the integrity of the game.

SPEAKER_02

MLB ABS system.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so it's a new review system. So the the catcher, the pitcher, or the batter can challenge a called strike or ball from the ump. Okay. And they go to a review, and it's like tennis where if it hits the line, it it gets reversed. Yeah. So they they put up a little thingy, and then if it's a strike, um, it gets, you know, it gets corrected. If it's a ball, it gets corrected. And it's been really cool. It you only get two per game, and if you win the challenge, you get to keep it.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. So that's what you know, I've been thinking they should be something like that for years. Right? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So I I it's been pretty good.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. All right, say the name of it one more time.

SPEAKER_00

The MLB ABS review system. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

ABS review system.

SPEAKER_04

ABS review.

SPEAKER_00

Um last two are, or last three. Uh, I would love to go to a World Cup game this summer, but ticket prices are absolutely insane. Um,$10,000 for like a cheap ticket to the final. Come on now.

SPEAKER_04

It's nuts. Crazy.

SPEAKER_00

Stupid. Um, two fun facts. Two fun facts rounding out the uh the mainly minute. Uh sloths can hold their breath longer than dolphins can. 40 minutes.

SPEAKER_02

Why would they need to do that?

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. To play dead? Kind of like underrated animal in the world.

SPEAKER_04

That just breathes so slow anyway. Darby loves sloths.

SPEAKER_02

Takes them 40 minutes to X Dark. Darby, hope you're listening.

SPEAKER_00

Shout out Zootopia. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

I have not seen them two yet.

SPEAKER_04

I love that movie.

SPEAKER_00

You know, yeah. Probably my best, my favorite scene. Okay. Um, last one is you cannot hum while you hold your nose. Go ahead and try it. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_04

No, you're gonna just make two fists. You cannot.

SPEAKER_02

All right. You didn't do it. You made me look the fool. That's okay. All right, there you go.

SPEAKER_00

That was Marshall's manual.

SPEAKER_04

Good job, Marshall.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you. You're welcome.

SPEAKER_02

Um, you yeah, I do. I would like that in text form later because I can really impress my people.

SPEAKER_00

A lot of different letters.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's a lot of letters.

SPEAKER_04

But yeah, that was fun. I learned something. I did too. Cool. Let's do it. Maybe we'll let you do it again. Well, I think getting off. I mean, you can. I wasn't really a test run. You passed for sure.

SPEAKER_02

And as you, you know, we're referencing a lot of rules and gameplay. That's what we're doing today. That's what we're doing today. Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, all right. We are going to get into it now. Oh two six. Two oh two sixes here. Okay. All right. Official Tal Talk card review. Here we go. Here we go. All right. I am going to start off by talking about the obvious. We've already mentioned it. Let's talk about it some more. Yep. The sex tets. Okay, there are two official sextets in the card. Um, first one is in like numbers, and it is the ones, a cong of ones, a sex tet of flowers, and another Kong of ones in a different suit. Then there is the one in um consecutive, where it is a conga of ones, then a sextet of flowers, and then a cong of twos. I think that's any consecutive number. Um, but I love to then bring up the lines that we have that have two pungs. So you still need six flowers um in one line. However, it's broken up into two pungs. What to note there, as Bubby kind of mentioned before, I just want to highlight again, is that two pungs are going to be so much easier to achieve than a full sex tet. And that is because you can call and hold and expose for a group of three without having to wait until you have all six. So you can do three at a time. Um, so keep that in mind. That sextet is going to be more difficult than the two bed pungs. Okay, for sure. Then we also have the north and south lines um that are used with odd numbers, and east and west lines used with evens. As Bubby mentioned, you can remember that north and south pairs with odd numbers because north and south have the letter O in them, east and west pair with even numbers, and east and west have the letter E in them. So thank you for that.

SPEAKER_02

Um and thank you for not changing that from last year's, because that would have been a real screw job.

SPEAKER_04

I like when they keep that kind of stuff consistent. Um, yeah, so let's look. Um, and of course, we will mention when we put this out that we want you to have your card in hand for this episode. So if you don't have your card in hand, you can pause us and come back when you do or listen to it, do like a quick listen through, and then come back and listen a second time, maybe with your card. So we are going to talk about the even section. Line three in the even section, we have a pair of east. Then in the middle, it's two, four, six, and eight. And then at the end, you've got a pair of west. So we've got the east and west in the even section with even numbers. All right. Then we have the odd section with the north and south, and you can do one, three, five. Is that correct? You do the one, three, five with the north and the south, and then the other option is the north and south with five, seven, nine. So there we have the wins in the odd section. There is also the wins in the winds and dragons section. The third line down, we have north and south with any odd number, two Kongs of an odd number, and then we have east and west with two Kongs of any even number. So there we go again. We want to touch on that. There are so many more opportunities to pair those wins with their even and odd partners.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_04

All right.

SPEAKER_02

So what do we have next, Elizabeth? Well, we still are gonna stay within the the winds and dragons kind of section. And, you know, I'm so happy to see that back with a vengeance this year in this card. It's a great section. It really is. It is. Um yes, and you know, wins with the dragons just gives you so much more flexibility to vacillate between hands. Um instead of having to choose between the two in the very beginning, you're able to kind of make that call a little bit later because you do have more overlap than we than we had last year.

SPEAKER_04

And I've said this before. I tend to get wins with dragons, and you just never see them together.

SPEAKER_02

Right. So, first we have we'll talk about the ones that are in the winds and dragons section. And all right, so for the winds and dragons, we have the fifth line and the seventh line that have the winds and the dragons together. The winds and dragons together, which I really like that.

SPEAKER_04

I know they're phrases again. They often get dealt winds and dragons together, right?

SPEAKER_02

And then, you know, previously you had to make the choice about which one you're gonna go for, and you had to make that pretty, you know, sooner. Now you can kind of wait and go for wind or dragon's hand or get lucky and use them both. That's right.

SPEAKER_04

They also have one in singles and pairs. Yes. That top line there, yes, I love that line.

SPEAKER_02

I do too. I do too. And and also the line seven on Winds and Dragons, too. Um which is flowers, winds and dragons. Yes. Just two flowers as opposed to line five, which has the six flowers again. But they are separated, so you don't have to get them all together. That's right, much easier again. Yes. Yeah. That's great. And then, well, speaking of the um singles and pairs, then we do have um floating pears this year that are super fun. And I really enjoyed that hand last year.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, yes.

SPEAKER_02

We have a couple of them this time. All right, so for floating pears this year, which I really enjoyed that line last year.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, a lot of people did.

SPEAKER_02

Last year it was in consecutive um run. This year it is showing up in the odds, one, three, five, seven, nines. Um, so if you take a look at line number four or hand number four for the odds section, you have it was a little bit similar to what was in the consecutive line last year, the one, three, five, seven, nine, and then um you've got the cons of whatever number is the double.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. Whatever number you pair, you've got to use that same number for the cons.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. And remember, it can be any of those numbers. It can be any of the odd numbers that is floating pair, uh, but just those cons then have to match that pair. Yeah. I loved that hand last year, and I I think I'm gonna enjoy this one a lot too.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, a lot of people did. That was not my favorite, but I'm gonna try it again this year.

SPEAKER_02

I'm flexible this year because you have the specific numbers that you need instead of a more specific odd numbers.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, correct.

SPEAKER_02

I think it'll be a little more challenging than the one last year. Yeah. But, you know, let's go for it. You like a china. I like a chine. I know. And I love runs, so I just I love it. But the next floating pair that we have, we'll need to go over to the three, six, nine section. Fifth line down. Yes, the fifth line down, and that one requires two flowers, three, six, nine, and then threes and threes um in the in the opposite um suit, and then the kongs need to match the pair again. Yeah, so you can pair the three, the six, or the nine. You can be flexible on which pair you were gonna float out there, yeah. But then just those Kongs got to match. And I think I'm gonna like this one a little bit better than the one, three, five. I think I can, right.

SPEAKER_04

With only having three numbers, I feel like I can grasp this one. I agree. I'll be able to.

SPEAKER_02

And you know, like we've we've mentioned several times before, the number six is just so prevalent. And if you have a lot of sixes, this is a great one to keep in mind because geez, you could possibly have, you know, yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, if you can get your hand on that many sixes, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and you can use shakers in the Kongs. So that's right. Yep. You sure can. All right. Um, in that kind of, I guess this will parlay well into like numbers. Yep. Um, and I think a lot of people love the like numbers line. And love like numbers. They're all over the place again. It's it, it's great for pivoting. I love that. Reworking your hand. But let's go through um a few of them. So if we start in the like numbers section, we of course have that sex test that we talked about for number one. Um, the second line has three single dragons, so that's super fun. I love that. And then the third line is two flowers, and then you have um kong and a pear in the middle. And that one is not, we have no clothes lines in the like numbers this time. But I really like those a lot. I love the single dragons. I think that one's gonna be a lot of fun. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

There are so there are a couple hands while you said that. There, I mean a couple hands. There are a couple sections where you're not gonna see a closed line this year. I know. It's 2026, no closed line. Or quints and or quints or any like numbers. Yeah, those are all um open for exposures. Um, but what I do want to point out is that we have two closed lines in the odd section. So make sure when you are doing those hands in the odds section.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, good tip, because usually it's just the one at the bottom.

SPEAKER_04

And so you want to make sure that the one second from the bottom is also closed.

SPEAKER_02

That's the worst when you call for a tile and you're so close, and you're like, oh, nope. We're done there. Very embarrassing. Yeah. Yeah. And then, well, and then there's also some more like numbers that top up throughout the rest of the sections. And I think the most obvious ones, of course, where we already talked about the floating pair in um one, three, five, seven, nine. But in the winds and dragons, we see it again with those north, south, and east and west, the number three and four hands. Widdo. I know. So we've talked about those a lot. Um, I love those. I love those. I do too. I do too. They're you know, they're fairly easy to get because you can use jokers with any of that, anything in the and then again, we see in this again with this floating pair, but three, six, nine is also um, you know, all like numbers. So something that's really good to pivot with is those like numbers.

SPEAKER_04

And that first line in Quince. That's a lot of like numbers. Yes, yes. I love that one. I love that one. Okay, yeah. So I mentioned um the the sections that don't have closed hands. Yeah. Um let's see, what else can we bring up? Oh yes. Oh, yeah. So let's talk about like the most popular tiles and things first. What is the same um in this card and the and from the card last year? And it's that all the sections are exactly the same. We don't have the addition section. Um, they I I mean, there are no, there's no math. There's no math, yeah, um, which is really cool. And but in the quince section, you can in that third line, um, you compare the one or not the one, you compare any two numbers of the same suit with a different dragon. And that's typically what they use these addition hands for is to put numbers together that don't typically work together. So we don't have a section or addition or any kind of math hands on the card, but I think that line sort of takes place of that. Um, so any two numbers of the same suit and an opposite dragon. I'm gonna love this hand.

SPEAKER_02

I really think I am too so flexible with what you can yeah. And you know, between the two, four, six, eight, two thousand twenty-six, where you have some other dragon hands, this is a great pivot too as well.

SPEAKER_04

That's right, yeah. Um, and I like how they showed a one and a four because one's an odd, one's an even. It's like, where do those two numbers come from? Um, so they did a great job on that line. I was excited to see that one. Yes. Um, what's different? Well, this isn't a huge difference, but I wanted to point out um they've made some big jumps before in the number of hands on the card, but we just have one extra hand from last year's card. So we have 72 hands on this card, and last year's was 71 hands. So about the same. However, most popular tiles this year. So obviously it's the year of the sixes. We have 2026, we have the sextet. Yeah. Um, and so sixes are the most popular tile. You can use them in about 40% of the hands. Um followed closely by flowers, which you can use in about 35% of the hands. So you want to hold on to those. You want to hold on twos and sixes and soaps um and flowers during the Charleston. If you don't need them, but you can hold on to them during the Charleston, then you'll just let them go early in the game when people are less likely to be able to do that. Right. That's right. Love it. All right. What about some hand structures?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, I think this is really important and really learning a new card. I think this really helps me think about the logistics of achieving hands versus not achieving them. Um just helps me get acclimated to the card and how it's set up. So yeah. So this year's card, I think it's really helpful to talk about the the, you know, the common hand structures. As we're learning the card to learning, you know, the differences from last year. Yeah. And especially not making mistakes and just, you know, assuming, you know, I think that's what a lot of people do right now is they know those the prior year's cards so well. We're just automatically thinking, oh, I need, I need pong kong kong, or don't you? And you just do it and you don't double check yourself.

SPEAKER_04

Especially the lines with four melds in them. Yes. The two pungs and the two kongs. Exactly. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So this this year's um common structures are pong pung, kong kong. Yes. And uh, as well as pong kong, kong pong, or the opposite. And then as we've talked about a lot already, is the pear pung, pear pung kong. Yeah. And but last year there was a lot of pong kong pong kong. Yeah, there was a lot.

SPEAKER_03

This sounds like tongue twisters.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I'm so confused.

SPEAKER_03

I never see three, three, four, four, or three, four, four, three, or four, three, three, four. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And I think what what we want our listeners to realize is don't make the mistake of, you know, thinking last year it was three sets of three, then sets of four, then sets of three, then sets of four. And this year it's not that way.

SPEAKER_04

So don't mess up your make sure you're when you're doing, yes, when you're doing lines with the four melds, two pungs, two kongs, make sure you're counting those and um you don't get them mixed up with the structure of the hands from last year.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and and I think this card, these hands, they're a little tricky. I mean, it's yeah, they're uh, and I think last year too, they're all they were set up a little more similarly in the consecutive run of special. And this year it's it's really varied, which I think is great. I love it.

SPEAKER_01

I do too.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah, so really be careful to watch which is the pong and which is the kong. Yeah. Um, and there's some pairs in the consecutive run, too, in there, so just be careful with the old numbers.

SPEAKER_00

I have a I have a quick question. Do you guys, and you might have already gone over this. Do you have any favorite hands that are speaking to you? And also, if so, why? I know you talked about kind of analytics with the sixes being uh kind of heavily favored.

SPEAKER_02

Marshall, it's like you're reading our minds. Yes, I do, I do. And we the next section that we're gonna do goes into all that. We we did a deep dive. Oh, but I do I have I do have some specific hands that I already know. Like I'm gonna love.

SPEAKER_00

I also think this could be fun because in a year from now we can do and look back at was this hand really one of your favorites or was it a painting?

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna track this year. I really want to track, I want to count as much as I can. Have you started? No, but I need to. I know, I know. We've been playing a lot. Oh, and I actually did with Clint. I did with Clint this weekend and I did track what hands I got. So that's perfect.

SPEAKER_00

Was it easy to track? You did it with an edge. Yeah, I did it at the end.

SPEAKER_02

So I did it at the end. How are you marking them? I just I just do it on a little note sheet. So I need I need to get a track, a tracker because I'm just writing it on my notes.

SPEAKER_04

But I love a permanent marker and they put a dot by every line.

SPEAKER_02

And I think I I probably will, but I also like the like separate card tracker that I might keep in my thing just so I can because I might want to write little notes about pivot line. I don't know. I don't know.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and how many times maybe you exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I don't want my card to get all junky.

SPEAKER_04

So I get that.

SPEAKER_02

I love Bubby's, you know, tips about taking notes on yourself. So I really this is the year I'm gonna really hone in on my personal gameplay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

The year of the Liz.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. You know what else um I loved and a lot of other people loved that Bubby did. Yes, let's do it. So we kind of gave this a name. Um she came up with code names. Yes, and these are this is gonna be our tile tips for today, right? These are our card code names. And if you remember um with the last episode, Bubby talked about the monster creature double features in this one, and then also the Faye Ray. Yeah, the Faye Ray. The Fey Ray. Well, Elizabeth and I had some fun, and you guys reached out too and said, where can I get more of these? Yes. And this year, um, Bubby only gave us a few. So uh with her permission, we played around and came up with you're gonna die, Marshall. This is actually like it's kind of vulnerable because you're gonna think I'm an idiot. But maybe it'll work and it'll be we're here to help.

SPEAKER_02

We will sacrifice ourselves to for everyone to be a better mahjong clearance. I really do think it helps you retain the lines, remember the lines. Um, you know, and you don't need to memorize the whole card for goodness' sake, but it is just helpful to be comfortable and like, oh yeah, oh yeah, this line, this line. So yeah, especially at the beginning in order to learn it.

SPEAKER_03

This is really helpful.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, okay, so why don't you kick us off with the first one and make sure you tell us what section and which um number line you're going.

SPEAKER_02

Oh gosh, I have a vulnerable story about this one too. Number two. We're gonna start in the 2026 section, the first section, and we're starting with line number one. It is it is twos, zeros, twos, and sixes. You've got two um punk and two pong. So this is a pong pong call. Hong Kong, and it's the first one. And I just, you know, immediately, I think you and I both were like, Yeah, we're gonna party like it's 2026. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And we both Marshall's no. Man. So this is we both love Marshall. What are we calling this one?

SPEAKER_02

Okay, well, we could do Prince, or we could do call it 1999. I think we call it Prince.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because one word. Yep, go.

SPEAKER_02

Uh-huh. The Prince Line. The Prince Prince. The Prince Line. T 26. Do you think? Um, fun fact about that song. Uh, when I was a freshman in high school, I competed in the Miss Falcon. Uh yeah, yeah, yeah. Tell us more. Um, you know, what is that? Like a I don't know what you even are, like a beauty pageant. It's not a beauty pageant. What is Miss Falcon? Whatever it was. Whatever. I was, yeah. And we danced to that song. Call it when it was 1999. Yeah. And I won Miss Falcon.

SPEAKER_00

Whoa.

SPEAKER_02

Of course you did. I did. I did. Wow.

SPEAKER_04

I know there are pictures of that.

SPEAKER_02

Also, shout out FSU, our best basketball player this year, went to AC Flora. Go Falcons.

SPEAKER_00

Go Falcons. Okay, go Falcons.

SPEAKER_02

Go Falcons. And he was so good. McRay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Oh, yeah. He was great. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And a great person as well. So go Knowles. Go McCray. Go Falcons. This is more manly minute. Go Falcons.

SPEAKER_01

Go Falcons.

SPEAKER_02

Awesome. All right. All right. Give us another one. Okay. All right. These are so fun. All right. So still staying in the 2026. Let's go to line number four, which is not a closed hand, but it is the last hand. And it is you've got a pair of twos, a pair of zeros. You've got a pong of twos. Is that right? No. Yeah, pong of twos. And then a pong of sixes. And you are oh no. Yeah, pong of sixes, and then you've got the news. Yeah, two zero, two, six with news on the end. That's right. And those newses are singles, so remember that. But so 2026 news has been a little crazy. It's been a little extra. It's been very extra. And especially this week. Good lord. So we're calling that the extra extra. Extra, extra. That's right. 2026 news is extra, extra.

SPEAKER_04

Get your news here. And it's crazy. And it's gonna be crazy until 2026. Woe would help us. Yeah. There's some cray going on.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so 2026 news is love that one. All right. So love that. So extra, extra for that. All right, now let's go down. Let's go over to winds and dragons. And we have lined up. We're gonna need some tunage for this, Marshall. Okay. What do you need? I don't know if we're gonna be allowed to. Come on, baby dummy. I don't even know the words. Okay, that's why you go. That's right. One, two, three, four. Yeah, those are the dragons. The D's are the dragons. Gloria Estefan. Yeah. Uh, Miami Sound Machine. The Miami Sound Machine. Right. I had to look it up to confirm. You just write. I know. You thought I was making sure. Gloria Estefon, go the Miami sound machine. I'll look at the left. We could call this the Miami Sound Machine or just the Gloria. It's the Gloria Estefon.

SPEAKER_00

I like the single name and words. Yeah. Prince, Gloria.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

If you want to address it, I feel like it's easier to do this. You have to Gloria Estefon. I don't know if I can shorten Gloria Estefan.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, okay, good point. So maybe you gotta like ask. Gloria Estefan, baby.

SPEAKER_02

It can be Gloria, can be Gloria Estefan. Yeah. Or not. Yeah. But uh, what a gem she is. Love her. I love that one. I mean, I can you not, I mean, nothing else could be true.

SPEAKER_00

Can you can you sing her name? Like how in that jingle? Gloria Estefan.

SPEAKER_02

No, I don't think so. No, but good job. No, now I'm going to the uh Van Morrison Gloria song. Oh. Now I'm getting confused. Oh no, don't do that. We're not there. Okay, okay. All right, all right. Moving on, moving on. All right, I can share one now. Okay, go, go, go.

SPEAKER_04

All right. So obviously the sex tets are sticking out for me. Oh, yes. Um, so let's talk about the one in consecutive run.

SPEAKER_02

Let's talk about it.

SPEAKER_04

It is the Kong of Ones, Sextet of Flowers, and then the Kong of Twos. And we're talking about sextets. So let's talk about Sextets, baby. Let's talk about you and me, right? I like all the good things salt and peppa line in consecutive run. But then we've got the sextet over in like numbers, where it's just the ones, a Kong of ones, then a sextet of flowers, and then some more ones. So that's just salt.

unknown

Right?

SPEAKER_04

I love that. Okay. Salt and Peppa has the ones and the twos or any two consecutive numbers, and the any like numbers is just salt, all ones. I love it. All right. I love that. Let's talk about sex tests, baby.

SPEAKER_01

Let's talk about sex. I know.

SPEAKER_04

Sorry, that's gonna be in your head all day. You're gonna be able to do it.

SPEAKER_02

I used to go into my bathroom and play that song so my parents wouldn't hear.

SPEAKER_04

Oh my gosh, I know. It was like they would not have cared that.

SPEAKER_02

I was like, oh my god, I don't even know what I'm singing.

SPEAKER_04

But let's talk about it. Yeah, God, let's talk about sex tests.

SPEAKER_02

I felt so naughty. Yeah, it is naughty. So so bad.

SPEAKER_04

Those lines are naughty.

SPEAKER_02

I know. I love those. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

So here's the other one. This one is in Winds and Dragons, and it's the sixth line down. And this is the really fun line. I love this one. I have not won on it yet, but I've tried. Okay. Um, I will. This is the one with the north, two, east, three, west, four, and then south. This is really interesting. Line this one. Um, I couldn't come up with a song for this one, but what came up in my brain was a treasure map. So if you think like one step, one step to the north, two to the east, three to the west, and four to the south. And then X marks the spot, baby. I love it. Um yeah, because at the end of the line it's got an X on it. Yeah. So it's the treasure map line. I love that. I love that one too. I I told Bubby these lines, and she was tickled by a few of those. She really liked this one. I felt very proud.

SPEAKER_02

Good. Well, um, did Bubby have one more? Didn't she have one more that she was? She did.

SPEAKER_04

She did. I'm gonna, you want me to share Bubby's? Yeah. Okay. So she did come up with another one. Okay. All right. Well, I had to look at it. She sent me some information because I was like, what are you talking about? Um, but this is the it's in the consecutive run, and it's the one, two, three, four. It's the fifth line down with the flowers, one, two, threes, and matching dragons. Except it's the second option where the ones and threes match in suit, and then the twos and dragons match in suit. And she came up with the Madame de Farge. And this is from uh Charles Dickens A Tale of Two Cities, which like I don't really remember, but um, but I was like, okay, tell me more about this, and she was like, All right, I'll just send you the information. But basically, Madame de Farge is a vengeful and ruthless leader in the French Revolution, famous for her constant knitting. Um, she knits the names of aristocrats to be executed, right? So I think because these this different suit has been sort of stitched in throughout the line, right? Um, so isn't that cool?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I mean, you also have the D for death, you know. The D for death. She's coming for you, man.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. So that was really cool. And now I'm always gonna know that that is the Madame Defarge. Whether I knew who that was or not, now I know the story. This woman is crazy. Yeah, she stitched your name, you were dead. Um, but that line.

SPEAKER_00

Like pretty witchcraft. Yeah, you know, yeah, spooky.

SPEAKER_04

Do you did you read the book? Do you know the story? No, okay.

SPEAKER_00

No, okay.

SPEAKER_04

Anyway, so there it is. So that was a great one. I love that. I'll never forget that. In true Bubby fashion. She nailed it. No. All right. So let's go back to Elizabeth. Why don't you Okay, I'm loving it. I know. I yeah. Are you ready?

SPEAKER_02

All right, so this one is in singles and pairs. And in this, it is um the first line in singles and pairs, and it is a news line. You've got pairs of news north, east, west, south, followed by one dragon, one dragon, one dragon, each in each suit. Right. So you have all three, one of each three dragons. Any like number two. Any like number, and the like number needs to be the same. Um, and I really think this is so cute. But all right, so this is the idea of you're you're blowing, you're flying in the wind. What's flying in the wind? A dragon, of course. Okay. So you've got a dragon flying in the wind, and then you it's just doing one little puff. It's not breathing a whole lot of fire. It's one puff, one puff, one puff. So it is puff. The magic dragon. The magic dragon. Yeah. I love that as a kid. I just loved him.

SPEAKER_04

Puff the magic dragon. Oh my gosh. The like cartoon with the real boy. Yes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I know. Precious.

SPEAKER_00

Was it a purple dragon?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Was it? The one in the cartoon was purple. But the one in the I don't remember the one that I'm going to do.

SPEAKER_04

I remember being green. Okay. We'll have to deep dive. Yeah, now I now I've gotta know. Now I've gotta know. Okay. This one, I don't know. I don't know if I was gonna share this one. I'm gonna share it. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, he was green.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, green. I that's impressive. Because I don't remember anything right. Okay, so it's the mahjong. It's all the mahjong of pay.

SPEAKER_02

We're in our coffee mahjong, not our mahjong.

SPEAKER_04

So this is in the even section, and it's the fourth line down. And you've got a Kong of twos and it's green with the green dragon, and then you have a Kong of eights with and it's red with the red dragon. And I called this one Big Brother because I see there's a two-year-old dragon, and he's following his eight-year-old dragon brother around. Oh. So it's called Big Brother. I like that. I don't know. It's kind of random. That's a little out of it. Marshall.

SPEAKER_00

Sorry, I'm deep diving into Puff the Magic Dragon screen.

SPEAKER_04

I don't know why I always looked at him for like approval in his face right now, looking at whatever he's looking at on the screen. I was like this section he was gonna be like, are you talking about?

SPEAKER_02

Digital. All right, so that's the big brother, little brother.

SPEAKER_04

Um, the little the little green two. I love that. Dragon Big Brother. Okay, good. So those are our Mahjong card code names. Code names. And we actually came up, actually, Bubby came up with a great idea. Yes. And we are gonna share it with you. So what we are asking is for you guys to come up with your own names for some of these hands. Yes, and share them with us, and we will share our favorites every week. We'll have like um a hand of the week. Yeah, we can add it to tile tips, probably. And yeah, we could definitely put it in the tile tips and we will share your mahjong card code name.

SPEAKER_02

I love it. Okay. I love it. I got we're gonna get some really good ones. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

That's gonna be fun. So please, so what you can do is you can either either comment them or DM us, or you're welcome to email us at hello at tiletalk.com. Yes. Either way, just get them to us and we'll gather them all and we'll save them, and then each episode we will share one. Yes, yeah, definitely a shout out.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Sound good? And while you're doing that, follow us, like us.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and you'll be helping other people then remember some of the lines.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Yeah. And we we had a really fun time kind of doing this. I bet you'll have a good time. And even do the ones that we've already done. If something pops out at you and we've already covered it, oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04

If you have a better one, sure. I mean, you're not gonna beat salt and peppa, but that's right. You could try.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

What about the 369? Oh, no, no, no. How did we miss that one?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, okay. This might be my favorite. Thank you so much, Marshall. We forgot about one. We did, we listened to that song while we were pre pre-gaming today. I know. You know, okay, yeah. You know, you know. So everyone watching is probably like, how did they miss that? So here we go. All right, three six nine, everybody. Which one? I think that it has well, this was what I was thinking. Is line number three on three six nine. It's three flowers, a pair of threes, three sixes, a pair of nines, and then you've got a Kong of dragons. So I think we all remember the song. Three six nine, damn near fine. Who sings that? Oh, it's well, hold on. It's Little John and the Yin Yang twins.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And okay, so hear me out, hear me out. So you've got Yes it is. So three six nine, damn near fine. So we've got fine for the flowers. We've got D for the dams. We got three six nine, and then There you go. Also, I think, you know, and then the second, the second hand, second option for that hand where the three six nines are the different suit. Yeah. That was my yin yang because the six and the nines are kind of yin yang. So this is little John and yin yang hand.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so I've never actually like known the lyrics. I've known the lyrics. How does it go? 369, damn she fine. Yeah. Hoping she can sock it to me one more time. Yeah. I love it. Oh, it's so good. That song.

SPEAKER_00

To the window. To the wow. To the wow. Okay, we can. Alright, go ahead.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

All right, good one. Yeah. All right. So I hope you guys enjoyed those as much as we did. Oh, that was fun. It was so much fun. And you know what? We are actually, we are gonna wrap up this episode right now.

SPEAKER_02

Turn around and do it again.

SPEAKER_04

We're gonna turn around and film episode seven.

SPEAKER_02

Martin's ready to get it. What did you put in this poppy?

SPEAKER_04

It's that lemon balm, baby. And actually, there's zero caffeine. That's all you know.

SPEAKER_02

It's on a natural high there. Okay. Well, thank you so much. That's it for today's talk. Uh, thank you so much for joining us. And until next time, may your tiles be lucky and your table always be welcoming. Thanks so much, guys. That's right. We love you. Bye. See you soon. Cool.

SPEAKER_00
