Have you ever had a thought that quietly whispered:

“You’re not qualified.”
“You’re not good enough.”
“You missed your chance.”

Most people assume those thoughts are just part of normal self-doubt.

But what if they aren’t?

What if some of the most discouraging thoughts we wrestle with aren’t random at all—but carefully placed lies designed to keep us from stepping into the purpose God created us for?

In this episode of the Biblical Passages Podcast, Brittany and Eric explore what they call The Four Spiritual Lies—a pattern of deception that repeatedly appears in the lives of believers.

Scripture calls Satan “the accuser,” but his accusations rarely arrive as loud attacks. Instead, they appear as quiet thoughts that feel believable enough to derail our confidence, identity, and calling.

These lies don’t always show up all at once.

Often, the enemy simply tries one lie at a time.
And if one doesn’t work, he moves to the next.

Throughout this conversation, Brittany and Eric break down four common lies that quietly sabotage spiritual growth:

You have no worth – The lie that your life has no intrinsic value or significance.
You might matter, but not here – The idea that your purpose only exists in heaven, not in your life right now.
Your past disqualified you – The accusation that your mistakes permanently define your identity.
Force your way in – The deception that confuses ambition with calling and pushes people to act outside of God’s timing.

Drawing from Scripture and personal experience, Brittany and Eric unpack how these lies influence the way people see themselves, their purpose, and their relationship with God.

They also explore why deception is one of the enemy’s most effective strategies.

Often, he doesn’t need to destroy someone’s faith outright.

All he has to do is convince them that their life has no meaningful role in God’s kingdom.

Because if someone believes they have no value, they will never pursue their calling.

But Scripture tells a very different story.

Throughout the episode, Brittany shares powerful verses that speak directly against these lies, including reminders that we are:

Fearfully and wonderfully made
Created for good works
Chosen and placed by God with purpose

Eric also explains why believers must learn to respond to accusations spiritually rather than emotionally, following the example Jesus gave in Matthew 4 when He responded to temptation with Scripture.

Instead of debating the enemy, Jesus simply spoke truth.

And that pattern still works today.

By the end of the episode, Brittany and Eric leave listeners with an important question:

Which of these lies has shaped the way you see yourself?

Because once you recognize the lie, you can replace it with truth.

And when truth takes root, identity begins to change.

If you’ve ever wrestled with doubts about your worth, your calling, or your past mistakes, this episode will help you recognize the spiritual battle happening beneath those thoughts.

Because the enemy’s goal is confusion.

But God’s goal is clarity.

And sometimes freedom begins with something as simple as recognizing the lie you’ve been believing.

Have you ever wondered if you missed your moment or your calling? Maybe it's too late for you, or maybe you feel like you just have no purpose. Or, you know, maybe you've quietly believed that God can use other people, but definitely not you. Today we're talking about something that quietly derails a lot of people's spiritual lives, and you don't even realize what's happening. Scripture tells us that Satan is the accuser, but his accusations don't usually come as loud attacks. They show up as quiet thoughts that sound strangely believable. Eric, you've taught before the enemy doesn't need a thousand strategies to stop someone. Sometimes just one well-placed lie is enough. Can you explain why deception is such an effective weapon against believers?

SPEAKER_02

Well, he's the he he's the author of confusion. So he's like the inventor of it. Whereas, you know, Jesus is the author of creation. Uh Satan just wants to undermine that. And he has a kingdom too. And he doesn't want it to be overthrown. So uh God and Jesus, Holy Spirit, they they're they have a kingdom and they're looking to use it to replace the kingdom of darkness. That was the original design back in the in the day in the Garden of Eden. And we're just attempting to, he is attempting to uh use his his children, that's us, uh, and even all the good listeners that we have to uh to um to advance the the his kingdom into the earth. Thy kingdom come in earth. Okay, so that's that's an obvious thing, I would say, if we just stop and listen to it. But we've got to remember that that uh Satan has has lost any influence uh over us, he's lost judicial standing, if we can use a legal term. And so um he he wants to delay his ultimate condemnation. And so what he does is he whispers these lies into our into our ear. Uh but um Jesus' death and resurrection makes our advance, the advance of his kingdom inevitable. So the enemy, and and we are uh we can't we are beyond accusation. So the the the enemy has two things left. One is to to to derail us, one is he can tempt us to sin and he can accuse us in our conscience. And what it does is it undermines our ability to um to claim our rights to our purpose. It just gets us confused. And we start using intellect and emotional energy and and our willpower to fight him off. That is not the way. What we want to do is use spiritual responses, not um soulish responses. But people are my people perish for lack of knowledge. And so we're here to today to to provide some wisdom and to provide understanding, which is the practical implement uh implementation of wisdom. So that's that's why we're here for good folks like that you just mentioned.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So you said in our conscience, so you're telling me that some of the thoughts that I have are actually placed in my head to confuse me and frustrate me?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, and to s and to say, well, Brittany, you remember that thing you did uh a year ago, two years ago, you that person you said this to? Was that really the right thing to do? Or you know, or uh uh you know, do you uh wasn't that doesn't that disqualify you from the Lord using you uh to advance his kingdom and to and to raise your children properly and to be a good neighbor and to be a good friend and to influence people in your line of business? You know, doesn't that really undermine that? And we start getting to talking to ourselves. He just has to plant the thought and that has it as a question, and then we just start going round and round and and and actually hold a debate in our head. No, we we're here today to say enough of that.

SPEAKER_00

So you're essentially saying that those times when we feel like we're being called to do something, but there's that little voice in our head saying, No, you can't do that, you're not qualified enough to do that. You don't know enough Bible to talk to this person about the Bible. You don't know, you don't have enough experience in your life to actually come through and do anything here. You're telling me those thoughts are actually thoughts that are sent by the devil.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I believe many times they are. I don't want to say 100%, because sometimes people have a self-condemning identity. I'll admit that. But a lot of times they are spiritually born and they need to be dealt with spiritually as well. And that's we call those the four spiritual lies, which is what we're here to talk about today.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So one of the most dangerous things the enemy can do is try to convince people that their life has no meaningful place in God's kingdom. And if the first lie doesn't work, he'll just move to the next one. So there are four spiritual lies that we've identified that seem to show up kind of over and over again in people's lives. Let's get into them because I want to know how he's trying to trick me. So lie number one is you have no worth.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Oh no, no intrinsic value.

SPEAKER_00

That's such a simple lie, but it's so devastating that a lot of us feel that way at so many times in our lives.

SPEAKER_02

We we do, and it and it's it's uh I just would beg people to realize no, you are a child of God and and you you have intrinsic value. Whether or not you accomplish great things, whether or not you hold some great office in government, or whether or not you you build some great company or you you do something for foster children, you you don't need points on the board to prove your worth. Because because let's just go back to to Jeremiah uh chapter one, verse five. Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. What God is taking ownership uh before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you, I ordained you a prophet to the nations. And people can sometimes be dismissive and say, Well, that was Jeremiah. You know, he's got a book in the Bible, so he's he's more important than I am. No, but what we want to do is pull down from heaven. How about me? If if I've if I'm a spirit child and I've been wrapped in this coat of flesh, it's to accomplish things in the earth for such a time as this. All I gotta do is is is pray to God and say, could you please deliver to me my sense of purpose and identity? Okay. It really it sounds that it's it's I don't mean to oversimplify it, but that's how we get that started.

SPEAKER_00

You know, something about you have no worth, I just feel like we should mention a lot of times this happens really early in life. These happen from the people that are closest to you. A lot of the times we get this thought and feeling from our parents, whether they have any intention of making us feel that way or not. Sometimes those inner thoughts can just work against us and make us feel like we're not worthy because maybe someone didn't show up to something that was really important to us. And we suddenly start living with that lie of we're not worthy because they didn't show up for us. And then that just starts snowballing because our brain doesn't know the difference between a truth or a lie. So when we go, this person didn't show up because, well, we must not be worth that, our brain starts looking for ways to validate that all around us in our life because it's trying to give us those dopamine hits of like, yes, you're right. Yes, you know, you've understood this, you know. And so we start looking everywhere to see how we're not worthy and we will find what we're looking for when we seek things like this.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, the the mind is fancy word, teleological. It moves in the direction of its dominant thought. And so we want to be careful um that to be to to plant seeds and thoughts that are wholesome and that are um that are honoring of God. And and when we do that, then then there's a different pathway that we get on than the one that you just described.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So when we're hearing these thoughts of you have no worth, when we've identified that that is something that's coming towards us, we can speak life into it. We can speak Psalm 139, 14, I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Ephesians 2, 10, for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. We have to be speaking out loud what Jesus said, who we are. First Corinthians 12, 18. But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. He made us for a purpose, and you have worth in every aspect of life.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. And it's not dependent upon how many points you put on the board.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_02

Um, that's we gotta watch out for this relativistic uh approach uh to values. And today people get to say anything that they like about their identity. And I I just saw somebody I had a quote, identified from a different country. They identify as if they're from a country. They weren't born there, but they identify that way. Where's the absolute truth? Okay, I I and it says it says, I knew you in the womb. Where's the absolute truth that we can rely on or we can lean on or we can pull from? Because if everything is relativistic, then it it it shifts and it and and again the the uh Satan is an author of confusion, and he's he's gonna work inside of that of that approach. It's dangerous.

SPEAKER_00

Right. And if someone believes that they have no value, they won't even try to pursue their calling. So uh you know, we're all made to pursue our calling, and it's like trying to convince a soldier that they were never meant for the battlefield because we're born to do this, we are born, we know the right things. It says, you know, that Jesus, God's laws are written on our heart. So we know if we're able to go out there and and not be convinced otherwise that we have no value. So the first lie you said is you have no worth. The second lie, if he can't get you with you have no worth, if maybe you're like, no, no, no, I I know I must be worth something, then he'll switch it up and he'll say you might matter, but but not here.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, it's only theoretical. You'll you'll you'll find out who you are when you get to heaven, but don't think that you have any influence here on earth. And so people wait. What they do is they get saved, or we we bring people into the faith because we are have an evangelist heart and we care about people who are outside the faith. That's understandable. But once they come in, uh don't they have a purpose? Yes. And a lot of times, though, people think all they gotta do now is wait for their heartbeat to stop and they get to go to heaven and get a pair of fluffy wings and get to be around with the angels. That is that's not in the Bible. Okay. We have we have spiritual assignments. In fact, there are we'll talk about this another time, but there are five levels, five stages of spiritual maturity. And so, yes, we're born again, we're a babe in Christ, but then we we mature over time, as we've talked about on this podcast. Even Jesus said, Didn't you know I have to be about my father's business? He's he's growing up and he's moving up into new levels of maturity. So, but for now, um, the the the lie that you just mentioned is you know what, Eric, you know what, Brittany? Your value is only theoretical. You'll find out about it when you get to to heaven, but it certainly has no value here.

SPEAKER_00

Right. And how disappointing is that? How does that feel when you're like, oh, I'm working just so I can die and find out one day?

SPEAKER_02

Like, well, you're just punching your clock. You're you're you're showing up at a church service, uh, you know, listening to a sermon, listening to a choir, putting some money in the plate, going out for your waffles with your family, and then just going back for six and a half days of the week, just doing your own thing. That's not the Christian life. That's not what was intended. It's not in the Bible. Okay, there is a purpose right here on earth. Thy kingdom come in earth as it is in heaven. And then Jesus said in Matthew 6 33, uh seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all things will be added unto you. So there's something about this life, this earth, that we should be pursuing. And so there's there's enough evidence in scripture to uh encourage us. So, but but the scripture has a response to this lie, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

One one was one is kind of hidden in the book of Acts, uh says, for David served his generation by the will of God. So David didn't wait to get to heaven, he served his generation, and he did it according to the will of God. I I think that's that's a lovely one. You have a couple more verses that support this.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, Matthew 5.14, you are the light of the world. He's telling you, you by yourself, light up the path where you're supposed to go. First Peter 2.9. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood. And he's telling us so many things of who we are, and it absolutely blows my mind that we don't believe him, that we we don't take this power and use this power for what he gave it to us to use.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes. We do need encouragement, and so that's why here we are talking about it today. We want to be encouragers uh to the folks that uh that hear this and say, No, you do have value right here in earth as it is in heaven. Right.

SPEAKER_00

So he'll start young with you have no worth, then he'll move to you might matter, but you know, not here. And if someone starts moving towards your purpose, man, I feel this. I feel this so much. This has got to be the biggest lie for me. When someone starts moving towards your purpose, the enemy introduces this beautiful lie that says, Your past disqualified you. And this is brutal. This is so brutal because we all know our own mistakes. Yes, we all know everything about anything that we've ever done, and the enemy has to hardly do anything but remind us of who we were.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

For him to absolutely take us out.

SPEAKER_02

So, well, uh uh uh possibly. Let's let's just to possibly take us out if we allow it. But I would invite us to think at that moment, just kind of pause that story in our head and imagine a courtroom where he is the accuser of the brethren. He's the anti-decous, he's the accuser, and he says, I know her. I know what she did. Here's a list of the things that she did. Okay, and the and God the Father is sitting in judgment and going, hmm, is anybody gonna speak in support of this of this uh defendant? Jesus stands up and holds up his hands and shows the nail prints in his hands and he shows the scar on his side, and he says, I paid the price for all her sins, past, present, and future. She wasn't even born when I died and was resurrected on her behalf. And so the Lord says, Well, case dismissed, okay, because it's double jeopardy attaches. You you're you're you can't be accused twice of the same crime. Jesus has already paid for your sins, even though they're they were sins. Let's just go ahead and put a check mark. Yep, there were. Any other questions? But they but the sins were paid for, the price was paid. The the uh the sentence has been meted out. And so this is the lie, and we we end up not believing. And so what we end up doing, sorry to say, this is not about Satan now. This is about undermining the work of the cross and saying, well, your death and resurrection, Jesus, might have been good enough for half some of the people I know, but it wasn't good enough for me. So I have to pay the price for my own sins and sorry, but your death and resurrection just wasn't enough. Can you imagine? I don't think you and I want to be the ones saying that to Jesus, okay?

SPEAKER_00

No, not at all.

SPEAKER_02

Because that's really what it works out to be. And when we say, when the when we believe that lie, you once had value, but your sins have obliterated that value. And and so, yeah, you know you're right. No, that nullifies the work of the cross. And we've got it, so we're changing the script up to say, wait a minute, even if it's that's true, but my sins have been paid for. Okay, so I can be about my father's business now. And again, Romans 8:1 says, there is therefore now no condemnation in Christ Jesus. So there's no condemnation. I'm sorry, it's the condemnation is off, it's gone. You are uh you are authentically clean, all of us.

SPEAKER_00

You know, the enemy, I feel like I heard this one time and it has stuck with me, and it's that the enemy loves to turn past sin into permanent identity. Yes, and 2 Corinthians 5 17 just reminds us if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Your past sin can't do anything. Whatever you've done in your past cannot outweigh the calling on your life. In Hebrews 8 12, their sin and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. He didn't say I'll remember it when you mess up and I'll bring it up and tell you you shouldn't do that again. He said, I will remember it no more.

SPEAKER_02

He forgets he forgets that he chose to forget. Right. Can you imagine the logic around that? But he says, I for I forgot that sin. But sometimes people say, you know, I remember what you did at Thanksgiving three years ago, and I'm gonna forgive you, but I I have the right to bring it up anytime. Yeah, you know, and so that's that's that becomes is that truly forgiven? But the Lord forgets that he forgave. It's covered under the blood. And there's this real interesting passage in the Bible. We don't have to go into it today, but there was a um the um it's it's like there was a there was a supernatural event at the cross where Satan came to Jesus and he was holding a uh he was holding a legal document saying, You were their last chance. You were their last chance, and now you're dying. I have the title deed to their lives. They're all condemned now. And the Bible says that Jesus took the writ that was against us, and it was covered in his blood. Imagine a legal document, like a title to the house or something, or a or a uh a speeding ticket, okay? And you get to the court and you say, Your Honor, I I can't read this. And the honor looks at it and says, It's covered in blood. I can't see what's on this case dismissed, okay? Because there has to be a writ, a a legal document that that uh finds us, you know, accuses us at least before the judge can find us guilty. Jesus covered the writ that was against us because it was a real writ. We had we were sinners, okay, and yet his life and and resurrection, his death and resurrection has has compensated for all that. We just want to give liberty to people who are who are feeling judged and and harmed and like their life is miserable and not worth anything. No, you have an identity, as you just said a minute ago, and you it it's um and you so your sins did not obliterate it. So, Brittany, if that ever happens to you, I'm just talking to you now, you and me talking here, and that is I just want to um have you think I've been liberated. It's it just I hear the two words, case dismissed. Okay, it's a legal courtroom drama where you were on the on the at the risk of being found guilty. And that's what Mosaic law was here. It was a pot it was a temporary covering of sins, okay, and the annual Passover and all that. But Jesus comes and he is the Lamb of God, the forever Lamb, he is the second Adam. And so things change when you get the New Testament. Okay. So this is an exciting conversation.

SPEAKER_00

Definitely. So your past does not disqualify you, even though the enemy tries to make you think that your past will define every part of your life. The gospel says that your past was nailed to the cross and it was paid for. But you know, sometimes people break through these three lies. Sometimes people are like, okay, you know what? I I got this. I believe that I have worth. Maybe I was taught that as a kid. My parents did a really good job instilling that in me. You know, you might matter, but not here. No, no. You know, I believe that I matter. Your past disqualified you. No, no, no. I got this. I am ready to go. And we get to this fourth lie, which is just force your way in. And this lie is subtle because it actually sounds like initiative. It sounds like I've defeated these past obstacles in my life. I know God has called me. If you see a problem, you got to fix it. You got to push your way into leadership. But we're not waiting for God's timing. And this is where I feel people confuse ambition with calling. What is the difference between God opening a door and someone pushing their way through it?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yes. So um Jesus spoke about this, if I may, in Matthew 7. He said, Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven. Key phrase, he who does the will of my Father. Many will say to me in that day, now that's the last day, Lord, when they're when they come to report and say, Look what we did, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name? We use the gifts that you gave us. And then I, Jesus, will declare to them, I never knew you depart from me. Brittany, that's cold blooded. Okay. Can you imagine being rejected by the Son of God? And you've done, quote, good works. Okay, you've done good works. There's no doubting it. However, it was done out of self-will, autonomy, iniquity. And this is a dangerous place to be. And you just asked the question. So where's the knife's edge? How do we know? And that is, Philip said to Jesus, just show us the Father and it'll be sufficient for us. And Jesus said, Have I been with you so long, Philip, and you still don't know me? When you see me, you see the Father. I used to say, How could that be? That's two different parties. But if you do everything that God wants and nothing he doesn't want, it's fair to say that when you see me, you see God because I am so submitted to him. I pull down his will, his intentions, his values, his wisdom, and I implement them, therefore making me what? A disciple. That's the really the purpose of our whole institute is to help people to become disciples of Jesus, to learn the principles and implement them. And to do that with the with their a stronger and more mature soul and a stronger and increasing mature spirit. And so the difference is, are we submitted to the will of God? You asked an important question, and that's the answer.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So if you're trying to just force your way in, let's just have these scripture reminders. Hebrews 5, 4. No man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God. He says, you know, lower yourself. In James 4, 6, God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Psalm 75, 7 reminds us God is the judge. He puts down one and exalts another. We're constantly being reminded, don't just push your way in. Pray about it. Remind yourself of these scriptures. Ask God to search your heart. That's one of the ones that I absolutely love. So we see through these four spiritual lies, just the way that he kind of sneaks in. You have no worth. Just this little whisper. You might matter, but not here, not really. And if you do matter, your past is so bad. No one's gonna listen to you. So don't worry about that. And if you get past that and you think that, you know, you can help people with your past, go tell everybody, no matter where it's at, push your way in. It doesn't matter how you look or how you're being received because you're doing the right thing. You know, at one point in time, I thought that that was really the way to live. It's like no matter what, if you're speaking the truth, then you're fine. But we're also held accountable for the way we're delivering that truth. That I did not know for a very long time.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And you know, I'm reminded in Matthew 4 that Jesus was tempted in so many ways. This was, I mean, every every way that he could be tempted here. Will you tell us a little bit about Matthew 4?

SPEAKER_02

Well, Jesus had just been on a 40-day fast. I can't even imagine a four-hour fast. I mean, can imagine not not eating for 40 days and yet just come to just empty himself of of any bodily needs and even just even probably his soulish needs, and just being so submitted to his father. And then he was led by the Spirit. Okay, this is the Holy Spirit. Where was he led? To a banquet? No, to the wilderness. For what reason? To be tempted by the devil. It's Matthew 4 1. Okay, and with and when he had fasted forty days and forty nights afterward, he was hungry. After that, he was hungry. And a tempter came to him. That's Satan. So he's dealing with the biggest of the of the demonic horde. He said, If if you are the Son of God, so there right there, there's a challenge to Jesus' identity. Now that identity was spoken when Jesus came out of the waters of baptism. This is my beloved son in whom I'm well pleased. That's what the voice said from heaven. And now the tempter comes in attempting to undermine Jesus' identity. If you are the Son of God, command these stones become bread. He's got to be hungry. What did Jesus do? Did he debate? Did he bring his intellect? Did he bring his emotions strength? Did he bring any kind of a did he try to fight him? No. He responded with scripture. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. And so the this is the this is the real subtle response that we would love our our good listeners to uh to practice and to say, let me store up some scripture and be ready to defend and rebuke the enemy or any demonics uh demonic attacks with authentic script scripture that applies to the moment and and not and not feel like I gotta own this fight, okay, and get emotionally drained by it. No, I'm just gonna I'm gonna just gonna bring scripture to the moment and then uh be done with it. Okay, and that happened three times. Jesus was tempted with in with three different questions, three different um not just questions, but assaults on his identity. He talked about identity a little earlier. If you're the son of God. And then he's because he said it again, if you're the son of God, throw yourself down. He was on the pinnacle of the temple. Say just you know, go ahead and let's just see what God does. Okay, for it is written, and and and Satan even quoted scripture himself. He shall give his angels charge over you, and in their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against the stone. Okay, that's in that's in the Bible, that's scripture. But what uh Satan was doing was attempting to tempt God, and that's where um Jesus said it is written again, you shall not tempt the Lord your God. Okay, and that's that's for us too. We've got to be careful that we don't uh go drive our car at 100 miles an hour in a 40-mile zone and think, well, God is gonna protect me. Don't tempt God. That's not you're breaking breaking the laws. And so that's not uh you can't break the law of gravity and ask God to to protect you by jumping off the pinnacle of this of this uh temple.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So I love how Jesus gave us a living example of when you're tempted, body, soul, and spirit. We need to have our scripture already memorized and engrafted in our hearts so that we just know what to say. We just have the response because the enemy will cycle through these four lies. You have no worth, your purpose isn't for this life, your past disqualified you, force your way into influence. And every one of those lies pulls people away from the same simple instruction that Jesus gave, which was in Matthew 6:33. He said, Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_00

He told us what we're to do. Don't listen to the lies, just seek first the kingdom.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

You know, here's the the last question that I want to leave everyone with as we kind of we wrestle with these four lies here. Which one of these lies tried to shape you in the way you see yourself? I know I said earlier, like for me, it's definitely gonna be your past disqualified you. That one always got me there. But which one would you change in your life? What are you gonna start believing that God says about you instead? Which one of these verses can you speak back to those lies?

SPEAKER_02

Amen. Well, that and number four probably worked me for a season in my life uh because um, okay, some people noticed I had talent and there was no, I didn't, I'd already pushed past the idea that I didn't have a an identity in Christ. Uh I I had just been mentored and taught uh by um some some people that uh got me past some of the the simpler lies. So I I started falling for the one that said, you know, just just go do your thing. You know, you don't have you don't have to talk talk to heaven or check in. Just you've already been you you've already been fulfilled in that area. Jesus was pretty fulfilled, but he sort of spent some time out uh onto the uh all by himself in the in the uh in the forest in the trees and the in the the lone the kind of isolated places to uh to f to check in with his daddy. Um that was he had an important work to do, and so we're why we're wise to do that as well. So yeah, don't uh don't fall for these tricks of the enemy.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, definitely don't fall for them. And now you know how to attack them and how Jesus attacked them. So keep that in mind the next time you hear one of these lies. Until next time.

SPEAKER_02

So great, thank you. Okay.
