S1 Ep14: From Ultra-Orthodox to Healing with Angels / Shana Schlossberg
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Born and raised in a deeply Orthodox Jewish family, Shana Schlossberg found herself questioning the life she'd inherited. Walking away from her religious upbringing wasn't easy, yet it opened the door to a highly successful career in business and then... much more.
In this fascinating conversation, Shana shares how a series of profound mystical experiences led Shana down an unexpected path, culminating in what she describes as a face-to-face encounter with one of the Angels of Healing. She says the angel didn't simply inspire her—it taught her an entirely new method of healing, one designed to help people release emotional wounds at their deepest level.
Tracing her remarkable journey from Orthodox Judaism, to the corporate world, and ultimately into a life devoted to spiritual healing, Shana shares details about her work, why she believes humanity is undergoing a dramatic shift in consciousness, and what it means to surrender to a calling that defies conventional explanation.
Whether you're skeptical, spiritually curious, or simply intrigued by extraordinary life stories, this episode offers a thought-provoking exploration of faith, transformation, and the mysterious ways a life can unfold.

So if you're fighting this change, you're suffering. If you're not fighting, if you're flowing with it, you're suffering less. But essentially, the goal now is for all of us to transfer over to this new world. But there's people who help with the transfer. And I'm one of those people.
SPEAKER_02Our world is magnificent. Filled with life in every unimaginable form. But what if at the root of all of these diverse forms there was one energy? One conscious energy that created everything we know. By becoming everything we know. Including you. Come with us as we peek behind the curtain of what we call reality. And explore the limitless wonders of consciousness. In the realization lab. Welcome everyone to another episode of Realization Lab. I'm Jay Sherrick, and over here is David Ron. There he is. He's wearing a hat today.
SPEAKER_00Yep, hat l- I'm I'm hatless. No, hat. Yes, I'm wearing a hat today.
SPEAKER_02I'm wearing a hat. And David, we have, as you can see, we have a guest with us today. This is actually Shana Schlossberg. Thank you so much for being here. Thank you for having me. This is exciting because you are a very talented, very gifted person with tremendous ability. Let's start it with that. And yet you've never done a podcast before. No.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. What are the abilities? I come in blind. I don't know. I don't know anything about you.
SPEAKER_02I don't tell David anything. So I'll show up. It's like a mystery for him. You've actually sort of like been keeping your work kind of under wraps a little bit. I mean, you just sort of like it's word of mouth stuff, and the people who find you need to find you and that kind of thing. But you sort of feel like now's a good time to share a little bit more what you're doing and put get it out there. Is that correct?
SPEAKER_04Um I didn't until you reached out. And then I knew it was time. Then you knew it was time, yeah. And the funny thing is that I did do podcasts, but never around the spiritual work because I did it in my previous work.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. In your previous work, you were a very Are you gonna tell me what the regular work is? Nobody's telling me anything.
SPEAKER_02I don't know that you can actually put it. We have to clue him in. I don't know if this is.
SPEAKER_00A little bit. Okay.
SPEAKER_01What would you how would how would you describe your what do you what do you call your work?
SPEAKER_04So to make things clear, I use a term that most people understand, which is energy healing.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_04So I heal the human psyche.
SPEAKER_02Your work is goes way beyond what I call energy healing. Because I have done your work because in order to do this podcast, I signed up with Shauna and and did the program. What's the program? Well, that's we're gonna get into that.
SPEAKER_04We're gonna tell you everything. Yeah, my God.
SPEAKER_02It's way more than energy work.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I don't have a name for the modality because I didn't learn it in a traditional way. So I was taught it, but it came with no name.
SPEAKER_02And who taught you? The angels. Of course they do. And um these angels that taught you, were they did you know who they were?
SPEAKER_04Uh not at first. It was one specific angel. Um so there's a sector of angels called the angels of healing. Okay. And one of them specifically came down to teach this to me at the time when I was ready.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so we're gonna we're gonna get into all of that. That's gonna be fascinating. And when I went to your home and did this work with you, you were doing I was laying down on a table, you were doing this work, but the angel of healing, or whoever this is that we're gonna find out about, is right there with you and guiding you and really kind of so when I first started, uh, he was in the room 24-7, literally lays almost on top of at the top of the room. Hold on. He was floating at the top of the room, that's what he would do. He would just sort of kind of in a reclined posture. What how does it really matter? Okay.
SPEAKER_04Um, but he was always there to guide me, and there were certain things that I would need to deal with and get advice in real time. Um now I know the work well enough that I don't need the real-time advice, so he's there in the moment if I need him.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04Um, and he comes in and out.
SPEAKER_02I just want to say that the work you do is very powerful. I mean, I personally experienced it. It's it's very profound. Um, and so we're gonna talk about all that. But first, I also know that you have an interesting origin story. Tell me a little bit about yourself. You were born where?
SPEAKER_04In Tel Aviv, Israel. I never grew up there because at four months old we moved to Baltimore.
SPEAKER_02What was your family like?
SPEAKER_04I was born number 10. Number 10? Yeah. Okay. Uh so a very large family. Clearly.
SPEAKER_02Um did they stop at 10?
SPEAKER_04No, of 13.
SPEAKER_02Of 13, okay. Three came after me. You're a middle kid.
SPEAKER_04Very much a middle kid. Wow. Yeah. You know, by the time you get to number 10, no one's even investing in the name.
SPEAKER_00They're like, what can we call her? Call her 10.
SPEAKER_04Um ultra-orthodox.
SPEAKER_02Your family was ultra. Ultra orthodox. Ultra orthodox. Ultra orthodox. And what is the difference between orthodox and ultra-orthodox?
SPEAKER_04That just means very, very orthodox.
SPEAKER_02Perhaps you're unfamiliar with the term ultra. It means very so much about the Jewish tradition. Yeah. Um like what was what did growing up look like in an ultra-orthodox?
SPEAKER_04So in an ultra-orthodox home, God is everything. God is number one, and mostly it's uh now there's a lot of beauty in in in religion that is passed to you, but there's also a lot of what you can't do.
SPEAKER_02Like what were some of the things you can't do?
SPEAKER_04So, you know, f especially for women, modesty is number one. So you can't wear this, you can't see this. We didn't have a TV growing up. Right. We weren't allowed to read every book. Uh there were places we couldn't go. My mother wouldn't allow my brothers to go to the baseball game. It's not an all orthodox home. My family was even stricter. It was foreign to her. Why would you go to a baseball game? Nothing good can come out of that, right?
SPEAKER_02But you said modesty, did you have to ha dress a certain way? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04We we wore skirts, we were uh socks that were knee length, we had to wear long uh long sleeves. Food is very restricted. We couldn't eat out because um kosher. It's not kosher. So we couldn't eat at uh many other people's homes if we didn't know they were kosher enough. So you may not be able to go to a friend's house.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_04Or the friend's house is not religious enough, so you may not be able to go. So we were very controlled in what we were allowed to do and not allowed to do. Now there was a lot of kids, so we mostly played with one another and spent most of the time. You had everything you need built in.
SPEAKER_02Kind of vertically integrated. As you're getting older and you're becoming like a young teenager, that kind of thing, how is this playing out for you?
SPEAKER_04So I went through phases actually very young that I pushed against a lot of it. So I was probably four or five when I went to the store and I stole non-kosher candy. Did you eat it? Yeah. Yes. Oh, nice. I was a really bad girl. I went through multiple things. One, I was really angry I wasn't a boy because a boy in Judaism gets to do more. They get to go to the synagogue and they get to pray more. And I was fascinated by the learning. I also pushed against the boundaries of what God is. So I was asking questions when I was four or five that most kids don't. Today I know why. It came in with a lot of information.
SPEAKER_02Um wait, what were the questions you were asking? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I was asking questions even about religion and why uh comparing Judaism and Christianity. And I had no information about Christianity at that age, and I was I was nicknamed at home the Pope because I spoke so much about Christianity. And it was bizarre because we didn't have TV and we didn't have books.
SPEAKER_02Like, so where did you get that information?
SPEAKER_04Where did I get that information? I also came in with information I shouldn't have had around men and women. We weren't taught these things.
SPEAKER_02Like sexual stuff.
SPEAKER_04Sexual stuff. Like I was the became the authority in school for questions, and there was no explanation on how I could answer anything. So though I was attracted to things that weren't in the box. I was very much out of the box in almost every level. I also had issues with God. If you're raised on a God that you can't do this and you'll get punished for that. So as I grew up, I didn't like what I was being taught or the way I was being asked to live, the same emotion went to God.
SPEAKER_02And so where did your life go? So what what did you do?
SPEAKER_04So there was a few years in my teenage uh years, still in Baltimore, that I was doing everything I wanted. Right. I had snuck in a TV into my home. I hid it behind the dresser from the neighbor across the street whose mother died. I was a little bit more.
SPEAKER_02There were so many kids they probably couldn't keep track of everyone.
SPEAKER_04I I was doing some some stuff I shouldn't be doing. What age is this? I'm probably 11-12.
SPEAKER_0211-12. Okay. Is it more than TV though? Is it substances? Is it boys?
SPEAKER_04No, it's boys, but it's not substances, and it's not hardcore with boys. It was I mean, for us, talking to a boy was serious, right? It was a big deal. So if I got if I you know kissed a boy behind the synagogue, the whole city was talking. And that did happen. Yes.
SPEAKER_02What was his name?
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, I don't remember. Oh, but he was really cute.
SPEAKER_02I liked it, right?
SPEAKER_04I don't know if I liked him. He was cute and he it was not allowed. I think that was the that was enough for Shahana, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so you're being rebellious.
SPEAKER_04Very rebellious. And what my mother did, my mother, in order to protect her kids even further, she was very afraid of their teenage years. So what she did that the minute they reached their teenage years, she shipped him back to Israel to the you know the kibbutz or something. Not the kibbutz, the kibbutz is secular. So the orthodox versions of that, which is the yeshiva or the you know, the the Jewish school. So they're seeing my rebellious nature starting. By 13, they're like, we need to ship her. So they shipped me off to Israel for a few years, and I went through a stint where I was like, because I'm I'm actually very serious and very total when I go after something. I was like, okay, maybe there's something here. And so I tried it for like a year or two, and then I knew I was done. And so by the time I'm in 11th grade in Israel, I'm planning my escape.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04So I already know after 12th grade I want to go to university. I want to study, I want to do something. The desire to to have a career, to make something of myself was all consuming. Right. And I know I couldn't do it with within the city.
SPEAKER_02Within the boundaries around I didn't see a way.
SPEAKER_04Maybe I could have today there's many that are doing it. I didn't see a way. I need it out. I need it in the city.
SPEAKER_02And your plan was to get to university, and that was your escape.
SPEAKER_04And to get out of the religion.
SPEAKER_02So Shauna convinces her parents to let her go to university. She cramps four years of study into a year and a half and gets her degree in computer science.
SPEAKER_04And so I was hired into a really good company, and part of that company was that you traveled a lot. So within probably a month of working there, I am sent to San Francisco on a you know job.
SPEAKER_02Of orthodoxy. Of orthodox.
SPEAKER_04Yes, the exact opposite, yes. And but I'm still orthodox somewhat.
SPEAKER_02When you're like going to work, are you still dressing very modestly?
SPEAKER_04I'm wearing a skirt, but my sleeves got a little higher than the They're above the elbows. They're above the elbows, yeah. That's the tail in Judaism. Yes. You're not ex you're not orthodox. So everyone can see that and know you're not orthodox, but I was still living in an Orthodox neighborhood.
SPEAKER_02And you go to San Francisco.
SPEAKER_04I go to San Francisco and I start working there, and then within about a week, I'm biking in Marin County, and on the downhill, I fly off my bike. And that starts, that's the first real uh shakeup in my life. Uh-huh. You know, I have a very bad concussion. It was intense. It was a really, really intense accident that I was saved from. Like I it could have been a lot, a lot worse, and it wasn't. And I go through some form of PTSD. My life, which part of it I had blocked, started coming up.
SPEAKER_02I was gonna say the PTSD is probably not just the collision with the cement when you fell off the bike. The PTSD is is decades of being a child in this repressed environment.
SPEAKER_04It wasn't only repressed environment, it was also it was a big it was a big home with a lot of children. And it was you know, my parents did the best they can, but it was chaotic and they had very little means and with all the best intentions and everything flooded. Everything starts coming up and it's overwhelming to my system. And remember, it's I was kind of holding on by a thread anyway. So I wanted out. I I knew my time was numbered, and that broke it. So overnight, I mean, overnight, already in San Francisco, I'm not keeping Shabbat anymore, which is you know very basic. Very basic. Within a few months, I'm sent again to Atlanta. By then, my first Shabbat there, I already ate pork.
SPEAKER_00I was just gonna say, ham sandwich. Yeah, it was actually more interesting.
SPEAKER_04I went hiking with uh with one of the other co-workers on Shabbat, and um we stopped at a buffet, and he's like, Are you kosher? I'm like, no.
SPEAKER_02So your big acts of like really stepping out of them because I'm like waiting for like the dam to break and there to be like booze and guys and but it's not that.
SPEAKER_04I didn't say it wasn't that.
SPEAKER_00You know what ribs lead to. Right.
SPEAKER_02So there were you were you were also now dating boys and being a bit boy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I was I was definitely everything was now allowed. Okay. So I was I became a regular So regular American girl. Regular American girl. But not abusive of anything because I didn't need that. Funny enough, my my one vice was work because I became a workaholic. I started working seven days a week, there was no Shabbat anymore. And because I lost the connection with the religion, I also lost the connection with all friends and family. So you have no one, so you just work, and I was working probably I s working up to 18, 20 hours a day.
SPEAKER_02Oh wow. And you you became very successful in the tech field. What ultimately were you doing?
SPEAKER_04I started out as a developer. That's why I started as an engineer and grew really, really quickly. I'm talking within years that I was already a project manager and being offered uh being fast tracked to executive. Right. From there I went on and worked with HP on redoing dispatch in New York City post-9-11. And then I I I just went from one thing to the other and then I started building my own uh companies and then investing in companies.
SPEAKER_02And you you ultimately you were just an entrepreneur in the field.
SPEAKER_04A serial entrepreneur I was considered, yeah. Yeah. Seriously. And yeah, very successful. I got to work on incredible things.
SPEAKER_02But you don't do that anymore. No. Because why?
SPEAKER_04So what I didn't talk about is after I left the religion, you see, I I I within a few years of doing whatever I want and living that secular life that I thought I wanted, there was a hole forming in me. Yeah, which is I'm very spiritual. So God I knew I didn't want. I was like, I don't like you at all. Yeah, but I know I needed something. So my company was building a development center in India and they said to me, Hey, do you want to go? They were starting with a founding team to go. And I said, That sounds pretty cool. I have nothing to do. I was living in Dallas then, and I was on my way to medical school. I got accepted to medical school. I was gonna leave tech and go to medical school. My whole life I danced with uh medicine.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04And um I got accepted to some really good uh schools, but I had a half a year to do whatever I want, so I went to India.
SPEAKER_00Uh-huh. That's how it starts.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I went to Pune, India, where they were building their development center just for one month. And um I would there was a place in town, there was an ashram in town. Everyone would go because that was the hangout in town for the Westerners, and I wouldn't go. I hung out with the Indians, we would go partying and everything, but I would not go to this place.
SPEAKER_02Around this time, Shauna decided to go traveling to northern India where she met a young woman who encouraged her to go to a different ashram where the Dalai Lama was. But the girls' information was wrong. The Dalai Lama wasn't there. And now Shauna finds herself in the North India.
SPEAKER_04I end up in an ashram I don't want to be in, and I'm like, I have to get out of here, I have to go to the Dalai Lama. And um there's three days until the next taxi will arrive. Oh my gosh. Yes. So I have three days and it was it was actually a commune, so you had to take part in activities, and he forced you to do meditation. And in the meditation, I sat and the energy started running wild in me. I felt like I was in a washing machine and everything was churning inside, and I was like, What is this? I've never felt this, and it was so bizarre. Um, and I had instances in my childhood where I saw things and I knew I had um strange higher connections, and like I said, I knew stuff, but I never felt energy this way. And almost like it was it was its own entity running through my body, and I wanted to investigate what it was. So I started reading uh the uh his name is Osho, and he was the guru that that uh was uh connected to the place. And uh he came to me and I started uh comm uh communicating with him. And while you're meditating, he would appear to you or while I was reading books about him in my room. I he would he would arrive in the room.
SPEAKER_02And physically you would see him.
SPEAKER_04I would see him. And at first it felt like, you know, if you walk into your home and you feel like there this there's a thief in the home, that's what it feels like. I was like, okay, someone is here. And then slowly I would see the form. Now I don't necessarily see the whole body, people appear to me differently, but it was the first time that someone came to me as clearly and I was communicating with them. And I was so uh dumbfounded by it that I ended up staying there six weeks, really diving in, really connecting to him, and then going back to Pune, specifically to the ashram, leaving my job and and going to live there for three months.
SPEAKER_02Oh, going back to the p the ashram you wouldn't go to before. What did he teach you in this you were there for six weeks, you said?
SPEAKER_04He didn't teach me specifically anything. I was reading books about in him, I was doing his meditations.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04His work is very fascinating, and he's very well known. Oshu is very well known. Um and there was a few months I was very connected to him, and after a few months I got disillusioned with him.
SPEAKER_02Right, okay. But he sort of opened this door, and you sort of began to realize, oh, there is more going on spiritually, which you kind of knew because as a child you're getting information and you're you're having seeing things, you said. What kind of things did you see?
SPEAKER_04So I I I just shared this the other day. I was sent to bed at nine at 9 p.m. I had to go to sleep, and I I'm a little ADHD, and it was really hard for me to wind down. Right. So I would self-entertain and I just saw tons of stuff. I saw images, I would travel within the house into places, but it was more than imagination. I was going back in time and I was seeing things. Now I recognize what I was seeing there as past life that past lives that I was that I was going through. I just knew things about people, but it had no name and it had no space in my life. I didn't no one no one could explain anything where I didn't try to understand it. And even that pre-information that I knew, like everything I know about Christianity, today I know I had a past life as a Christian. And some of the sexual stuff is because from my past lives. So today I know where everything came from.
SPEAKER_02All the information you were distributing out on the uh schoolyard was from past lives. All your debauched life lives.
SPEAKER_00Something like that. Yes. Why do you think some people come through knowing stuff and other people don't?
SPEAKER_04The simple answer is become we all came in to do work. We all have a job here. My job has to do with that, and yours doesn't.
SPEAKER_02Aaron Powell We're not sure what David's job is. We're still trying to figure that out.
SPEAKER_04But we know it's not that.
SPEAKER_02David is our resident skeptic. So David doesn't actually believe everything you're saying. He's sitting there going, She's reasonable. She's a success in the business world, and what's going on? What's talking and all this shit that I can't really make sense of? So he's still trying to size you up.
SPEAKER_04No, I I work with a psychiatrist who, like me, is a mathematician. I'm a math major. And he says to me, Shauna, what what what do you do when people say you sound strange? I'm like, I agree with him. It sounds strange. So I get everything you're doing, and it was as strange to me when I first felt that energy in North India because I was a skeptic too. I didn't believe in energy. But once you feel it, you can't not believe it.
SPEAKER_02David's keep saying, Well, then let me feel it. Yeah, it's like send me the fucking feeling.
SPEAKER_04You're maybe not needed in that. You have other work to do.
SPEAKER_00I think it's napping.
SPEAKER_04That's a job. But at that time, when I'm piecing it together, I don't know why I have this. But when I get back to the Ashram and Pune, everything has already opened and exploded. I would go into sessions and you know, they do a lot of um intense primal work. There was a Russian girl crying, and I knew everything she was about to share. I knew everything she was feeling. I knew everything she had gone through. She was sharing in Russian. I didn't even understand what she was saying. Someone was translating. I was like, okay, I knew that could have translated.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_04And I don't know a word of Russian. Wow. I would sit in a room and I would see animals on everyone's heads, which today I know is animal guides, but I was like, why am I seeing animals on everyone? I stay three months in the ashram and then I'm like, it's time to go back to the world.
SPEAKER_02So Shauna returns to New York. It's shortly after 9-11. And she begins working on a massive project with the New York City Fire Department.
SPEAKER_04Doing something meaningful became really important to me because the ashram did heal me emotionally. I had not cried my whole life until I reached the ashram. I had not felt a lot, and that really, really opened everything for me.
SPEAKER_02But back in New York, her life had changed.
SPEAKER_04I'm playing in the weird now. So that included things of, you know, simple things like seeing, welcoming every day there was someone else on my couch.
SPEAKER_02So seeing, you're you're seeing I'm already communing with souls. With different souls. And are these mostly human souls? Are they angelic souls?
SPEAKER_04No, at this time it's mostly human souls. Human souls, okay. And ones that I know. So for example, Osha was on my couch for a lot. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And um the human souls would show up and just hang out on your couch.
SPEAKER_04Just hang out, and yeah, sometimes talk to me, sometimes not. But it wasn't strange for me to enter the home and there was someone there. Um no, it became almost regular, and I started playing with astral projection. So I every place I can play, you know, push a boundary, I was trying.
SPEAKER_02What were you doing in astral projecting? Were you able to move?
SPEAKER_04I was astral projecting.
SPEAKER_02Go places.
SPEAKER_04So the first time I was actually able to leave the body, I left something open. And the next day there was something in the house that I didn't want in the house. And for about a week there was something in the house that I didn't want to come back to, and I was terrified of.
SPEAKER_02Well, who well who or what was in the house?
SPEAKER_04It was an energy? But it was it was bad.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So so when you astro project, you didn't close the portal properly.
SPEAKER_04No one was teaching me. I was everything was self-taught. So I was like, hey, this is fun. I could do this.
SPEAKER_02And so there was some creepy energy or something.
SPEAKER_04Very terrifying energy in the house. And how did you get rid of it? I just prayed for it to leave. And it did? And it did eventually. And I just prayed I wouldn't see it in the mirror.
SPEAKER_02I was so afraid to use the mirror. Could you see this energy or you know?
SPEAKER_04I felt it and I was terrified of it. I I I dreaded coming home. That was the first sign that something dangerous was happening. My second thing was I discovered that I can see past lives. Now I was only on my past lives then. But for example, I was riding the subway and suddenly I was in my past life. And it's about uh 200 years ago in Vienna. And I'm going between Vienna and Paris and I oh 150 years ago, and I'm on a train, or I'm on a moving, actually a uh a coach more than a train. It wasn't, but it felt the same way. It felt that movement.
SPEAKER_02So there's a little trigger in the present moment life.
SPEAKER_04I didn't know this then. I just I was like, what? Where am I? What's going on? And I had the same thing when I was listening to a piece of music. I just remember watching a child play the violin, and he was playing this piece of music, and I'm seeing the child, and I know he's my child. And he's playing the violin. Or I walked by a pool and I remembered I knew someone that had drowned, and I was and I experienced the drowning again. So suddenly I was being triggered by my environment in a very bizarre way that again no one taught me. It's intense too. It's really intense, and so it was jarring emotionally, physically, and fascinating.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So because I'm Shauna and I like to play, and I and I played where I shouldn't have played. So I had a good friend who um was trying to have a baby and then couldn't get pregnant. And I was like, hey, maybe I can help. And it was irresponsible and it was horrible that I did this, but I regressed her without meaning to to a horrendous past life. And she couldn't speak for three days from the trauma and the horror.
SPEAKER_02So that had something to do with what was blocking her in this present life.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it was a horror horrendous sexual assault that she had gone through that really closed her even in this life. Because most women who can't get pregnant in this life, not all, but most, either went through in this life or a past life a sexual assault.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. That was irresponsible because I didn't know how to help her.
SPEAKER_04I didn't know what I was doing. Okay. So that was the last time I regressed anyone ever again. Remember, I have a job, I'm in tech, I'm not in this. This is not my life. No one knows I'm doing this. Right. I'm not talking about it. Right. I'm almost in a way ashamed of it. It's strange. Right.
SPEAKER_02Soon Shauna begins working on her own startups, but all the while she continues to explore her spiritual abilities.
SPEAKER_04I was working in a co-working space and I would do Reiki for people. But my Reiki was very different than other people's Reiki because I was there was people visiting and I could see your past lives in Reiki, which most people don't do that in Reiki. But it was all for fun.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And I would only work on people I knew. And interestingly enough, I remember I couldn't sleep at night because I was so many came to communicate with me. And then I set a rule. I will only you can only communicate with me if it has to do with someone I immediately work with or an immediate friend. And then there would be a woman that persisted. She would come in every night and I said, I don't know you. And there's you're not anyone. She said I'm someone's mother. And I said, No, you're not. And I said, You have to go. And she left. And then randomly there was this guy in the co-working space, and I said, Do you have a mother? And he's like, Why would you ask me if I have a mother? What a weird question. Of course I have a mother. And I was like, sorry. I thought he's the only one. Because I was only actually hanging out with two guys. And the other guy kept on talking about his mother. So I assumed he had a mother. And then I said to him, One day he said, Stepmother. I was like, You have a stepmother? He's like, Yeah, I just call her mother. She raised me. And I said, Why did she raise you? He's like, Because I lost my mother when I was young. I was like, Oh no, I just sent her away. And I called her back and I said, Okay. She came and I did a session on him and she communicated with him. So it was it became a funny thing. Everyone knew if you were a friend of mine, you got free Reiki.
SPEAKER_02But despite her gifts, Shauna still resisted serious spiritual work.
SPEAKER_04So I realized even then that I had gifts and and there's something unique and I can help people. And I think I didn't care.
SPEAKER_02You were you were into your own glorification.
SPEAKER_04Very much so. And I still needed tons of money and tons of fame and tons of success for some reason that I thought I needed. The way that I was uh giving was uh for friends and family. So I could tell someone if they could do a business deal. I would know if something can come out of something. If you gave me a name of an investor, I could tell you go for it. It's a good guy. I could see a face. And you were accurate? Very. I could see a face and tell you everything about them. A name and a face for me, and you get everything. Um so the family started using it because in Orthodox Judaism, the way they matchmake is that the parents kind of get what they call resume. They get a name, uh photo, and some information. So my siblings would start sending me names. You became the matchmaker. I became the proxy matchmaker telling should we go after this or not? And I'm like, nope, not a chance.
SPEAKER_02Not necessarily romantic stuff, business stuff.
SPEAKER_04Romantic stuff from the family. Yes.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay, okay.
SPEAKER_04Um and friends would send me and say, you know, I went out on a date with this guy. Is he a good guy? Uh-huh. And I would do readings for for fun. I was like, no, it'll take me seconds. Like I could get seven of them in ten minutes.
SPEAKER_02Should we find out if you and Rachel are a good player and his wife? Yeah. Yeah. We will after the program we'll find out. Yeah, maybe they need to move. Euclid and I don't know.
SPEAKER_04So the the next break comes at COVID. Uh-huh. COVID hits New York and it becomes horrendous. But what changed in COVID is I started getting collective messaging.
SPEAKER_02Collective messaging? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So until then it was about should you do business or who is this person? They started showing me what's about to happen in this world.
SPEAKER_02The the their guides or spirits or the people sitting on your couch are now.
SPEAKER_04I don't know. It was coming from higher up. By this time I'm communicating a lot with my father. He had passed by this time, and he was one of my big communicators, but there were others. Almost a year after he passed.
SPEAKER_00And was he a believer in this sort of thing?
SPEAKER_04Or he was in secret. He studied Kabbalah, now we know so he did, but he never spoke about it. He wasn't at a time that it was popular to speak about.
SPEAKER_02So you're in New York and you're really living kind of this secular trajectory, but more and more people are showing up to communicate with you.
SPEAKER_04And this time they're showing me what I knew to st to stock up my home for two months before COVID hit New York. I was told prepare for two months. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So they're giving you stuff about the future and is about you particularly.
SPEAKER_04It started about me and then it started messaging. For example, I knew that the whole real estate industry would collapse in America before it happened. I was told. I watched one day I s I was I lived in Battery Park City and I stood and watched the buildings in New Jersey, and they said to me, All the towers of Babylon will collapse. And I said right away, my brothers in real estate, I said it's all about to collapse. Now no one knew then. We weren't even working from home then. We were just home for two months, and we were gonna go back. And it's you see what has happened to real estate.
SPEAKER_02Did real estate collapse? Commercial real estate is done. Nobody went back to back to the offices. So you're getting you're getting messages about So what do you think about AI? Hold on, that wasn't in COVID.
SPEAKER_04Um but I'll tell you what I think about in a funny way. About five years ago, not if it was five, it's already six years ago, um, in September of 2020. It was a holiday and I was at my brother's house, and I sat and I said, The new world has come. And he said to me, What does that mean? I said, There's a new world now, and we'll be migrating slowly to the new world. And he said, Tell me about this new world. And I said, In the new world, we're gonna have to work less. It's gonna be more about m thought than work. And we're gonna work dramatically less. And now we have AI.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And so you kind of had that. Someone had given you that information.
SPEAKER_04It came to me like that. I just felt a new world. And that that became really the work that in the end I've been doing. So I'll just lead up to that. Because of COVID, some of my projects were hit and had to close. And the the ones that didn't didn't require 18 hours of work anymore. So I didn't have what to do with my time. And so I went from crazy, crazy working to quiet. And that broke me. And so the quiet started bringing even more messaging, and I knew that something was starting to shift in me. I I became very unhappy in the work I was doing, although I loved the work I was doing, so it was very confusing. And I couldn't hear their messages because I was fighting. I didn't want change. I was fighting for the same projects I was doing before because it's what I knew. It's familiar and it's familiar and it's safe, and I worked so hard for it, and I didn't want things to disappear. And they were disappearing not because I did anything wrong.
SPEAKER_02So do you think COVID happened because you wouldn't change?
SPEAKER_04It is all about me, I'm sure of that.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_04So COVID happened to bring in the new world. Yeah. That's what brought in the new world. We needed enough quiet and calm so to allow people to do exactly what I went through, to think, to stop. Right. And we see how millions of people's values have changed, lives have changed for the better, some for the worse, because they're fighting it. So if you're fighting this change, you're suffering. If you're not fighting, if you're flowing with it, you're suffering less. But essentially, the goal now is for all of us to transfer over to this new world. But there's people who help with the transfer. And I'm one of those people.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04And so because you can't transfer to a new world if you're holding on to trauma, if you're holding on to misery, if you want, if you're holding on to suffering, you can't transfer over.
SPEAKER_02And so the work you do frees people so that they don't have those holds.
SPEAKER_04It lightens them in a way that they can cross over. So imagine imagine there's two realms living simultaneously. One will end up replacing the other. One is the old way of thinking, of working hard, of suffering, of life is difficult and hard, and one is of the newer, lighter. What we call of the more feminine mindset, which is caring and love, what we've dreamed of for so many years, right?
SPEAKER_02David is officially a metrosexual, so he has a lot of feminine too. There's strong feminine energy. Let's just say that.
SPEAKER_04That's good.
SPEAKER_00But so you're gonna do really well in the new world. In the new world, I'm prepared for it.
SPEAKER_04But it is of kindness and giving and helping, and it's not of greed and me. And so even watch the trajectory I had to go through. They had to break me personally so that I can actually care about other people. If ten years ago I cared only about me.
SPEAKER_02I just want to say, I actually think the reason I'm doing this podcast, the reason this podcast exists, let me put it that way, is because we're in this transition. And this podcast is here to sort of, you know, in my own little way, contribute to this change from what was the way we lived for But more than I don't think it's a little because you say to me, I help people pass over, right?
SPEAKER_04But obviously I can't help everyone. But I'm there's many like me that do different things and help different people. And I'll explain to you who I'm supposed to help and who others are supposed to help, and also why I knew this is time for me to do a podcast and talk about it. Yeah because I wasn't kidding when you said because you reached out, that's a message to say it's time. Right. So much of the passing over has to do with wanting and realization and acceptance. We fight change, like I fought change. We don't want to change, even if you know, sometimes people, I'll give them a brick of gold and I'll say, take this gold. They're like, Stop harassing me. But that's where we are already. I'm saying to them, there's a better life here. We don't have to suffer and you don't have to fight, and you don't have to, you just can live in your quiet bubble and be happy with what you have. And they're like, Leave me alone, I have to go to work, right? If people can stop, and that's what COVID did, it got us to stop, it got us to work less, it forced us. No, there's that famous movie, The Day the World stood still. That that when I saw that, I was like, that's what's gonna happen to us. When I and it's years ago, I knew that was gonna happen. You have to force quiet on people, so they're forced to change. And so that's the movement over. Now, if people start hearing and understanding into questioning their life, they're starting to slow down and listen. So the podcast is more important than you think. And it doesn't do little change, it forces people to question and to think and to stop and say, I want that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So tell us about your thank you for saying that, I appreciate that. Tell us about your personal experience now. So you're you're resisting, COVID has happened, everything's slowed down.
SPEAKER_04And I'm miserable. And I they brought me to a place, they were so aggressive with me. And I say to people that if you find that the that the higher beings are aggressive with you, that means you're very, very uncomfortable, that means you matter. They fight more for the souls that have more work.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_04And um they got me to a point because I was I was fighting so badly to keep doing what I was doing that I couldn't open an email. I would, it would be physically uncomfortable for me to open an email or me one.
SPEAKER_02Why?
SPEAKER_04I can't explain it. I couldn't. I was like, I woke up in the morning, I'm like, I have work to do, and I I couldn't walk towards the computer was was uncomfortable. My father comes to me and says to me, You have to go do mushrooms.
SPEAKER_02Your father who's deceased.
SPEAKER_04My father who's deceased comes to me. Who who made you wear long skirts and was ultra orthodox and did not know what drugs is. Nothing.
SPEAKER_00He said you have to go do mushrooms.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, said me you have to go do mushrooms. And I was like, okay, that's bizarre. It was so bizarre that I was like, okay, I've never, I had no attraction to it, to anything mind-altering. And I was like, okay, that's bizarre. He doesn't even know what that is. But that must have been a very high message, and they knew I'd hear it from him.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_04And so I said, Okay, I'll do mushrooms. And I decided if I'm gonna really do it, I'm gonna do it at the best place possible. And I found someone in Israel that does it.
SPEAKER_02Like a guided mushroom. Okay.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and it was a group of women. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Everyone knows Israelis have the best mushrooms.
SPEAKER_04And it was an incredible, he's an incredible man.
SPEAKER_02What happened?
SPEAKER_04And I go in, and I have no idea what I'm going into, yes. And he says to me when I come in, he says to me, You're fire. That means I made extra strong tea to break you. And I that should have made me walk out.
SPEAKER_00I would have broke right out of it.
SPEAKER_04And I was like, cool. And I went through the most horrifying next six hours of my life. Oh god. It was so bad. I cannot describe how horrendous this was. But I went in with two intentions. One was I want to meet God because I was so confused by this time and I didn't know what they want from me. And I said, I need to understand God. Now I am very smart, so I believed that God is the what the God I was raised on. It was about learning and studying, and there's tons of secrets of the universe, and that's what I thought I was going into. And the way this uh session was structured was the first two hours was about body, and that's when I was suffering the most. I couldn't breathe. I thought I was dying. I I was trying not to throw up because I have trauma from throwing up. I I have trauma from not being able to breathe. And I realized how much trauma there was in my body after 20 years of therapy and 20 years of spiritual work. I was like, There's still so much. Oh my god, there's so much in this body. I was dumbfounded by it. And then I couldn't breathe. And and so he moved me into another room where there was the AC on, so I could breathe. And right away when I moved from the rest of the group, I felt better. And then I was like, Where are the secrets? And and it makes you have like 500 thoughts in a minute and 500 thoughts on every thought. And I was like, I'm I can build more companies, I can build more startups, I can make tons of money. I totally forgot about God. And and then after that was uh finished, it's almost like that session was gone. I went back to the main room, and for two hours I just watched the man going and guiding the other women. And we were all dressed in white, and I'm watching him in white, and I knew that was God. At that moment, I knew that taking care of people was the divine. It wasn't secrets.
SPEAKER_02You kind of had to get all that, purge all that stuff of the body, and then all of the mind and then the ambition and all that, and then you got to sort of a place where you could sort of see more clearly, and then you see this man helping people.
SPEAKER_04One woman is crying and one is is suffering, and and he was just so exactly so compassionate and so sweet and so kind. And I said, That's God. And something happened in me, and I walk out, I finish, and it breaks my whole system into a million pieces, which is why I'm very hesitant to ever recommend uh mushrooms. And I say to this man, I say, You broke me. And he said, Hashanah, you're a healer. You've always been a healer. And I said, Me, a healer? I don't want to work with people, I don't want to help people. He said, Can't fight it. You're a healer. And that started me on connecting to the world of Kabbalah and finding my way to uh stay for 30 days next to the grave of one of the biggest Kabbalists in Judaism in in in Safed, in Israel, in North Israel, and praying every day by his grave for guidance and to show me the way. And then my angels came.
SPEAKER_02In part two of this episode, Shauna comes face to face with the angel who came to teach her mystical healing.
SPEAKER_04It's a very, very powerful angel of healing. There's only a specific amount of angels of healing, and he only showed up when I was ready.
SPEAKER_02And we revealed the secrets that were exposed when Shauna did her healing sessions on Jay. So she said, I might have seen something when you were like three or four. Had like a sexual nature to it that left a mark, you know, and I was like, Really? I I couldn't remember an incident, but I was like, if if anything happened, I think it happened like in point lookout, it had to do with these older boys. And then you said to me, Do you want to know? If you enjoyed this episode, be sure to subscribe to Realization Lab on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcasts.
