We pause in the third week of Lent to pray and take an honest look at how our Lenten disciplines are shaping our relationship with the Lord. We also share a prayer of thanksgiving after Communion and close with heartfelt devotions that keep our focus on mercy and grace.

• opening prayers and the Morning Offering through the Immaculate Heart of Mary
• a personal mid Lent check-in on chosen disciplines
• discerning whether practices help or hinder spiritual growth
• adjusting commitments with freedom and honesty before God
• a Eucharist thanksgiving prayer for after Communion at Mass
• entrusting all we have to Jesus through Mary
• closing prayers to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Guadalupe

If you found this time of prayer and reflection fruitful and would like more opportunities to grow in your faith this land, consider joining the Cristeros and purchasing our Lenton Reflection booklet, now available on Amazon.com. Saturday, in the third week of Lent. In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. O God, come to my assistance. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the remission of my sins, for the intentions of my family and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father. Amen. Second Lenten Check-in. It is good throughout Lent to have a personal check-in of sorts to see how things are progressing. How have your chosen Lenten disciplines been going? Have they been too much, too little, unrealistic? Do you need to adjust anything? If so, that is fine. We do not need to be beholden to disciplines that we undertook if they are not helping or worse, are hindering us in our relationship with the Lord. Prayerfully examine your conscience and Lent thus far today and adjust as needed. Additionally, here is a prayer of thanksgiving you might find helpful for after communion at Mass this weekend. My Lord Jesus Christ, my God and my all, just and merciful Savior of the world. I render you thanks and praise for this great gift, this wondrous marvel, this holy repast, this nourishing sacrament of the Eucharist, which you have bestowed upon me, unworthy sinner though I be. While I have so often offended you and displeased you by my infidelity to your love, you have allowed me to approach the sacred altar to receive your very body and blood. It is a gift of which I am not worthy, except for your grace and mercy. All that I have and all that I am, I give to your hands, Jesus, through the heart of Mary, your blessed mother. Amen. Sacred heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
