Episode 2 | "Stop Looking for Life in Dead Places" Truth Bearer International Ministry | Pastor Ferrari Moody

The women came to the tomb before sunrise — heartbroken, confused, carrying spices to anoint a body. But when they arrived, the stone was already rolled away. And in that moment, two men in radiant garments asked them one of the most penetrating questions in all of Scripture:

"Why do you seek the living among the dead?"

In this powerful message from Luke 24:1-7, Pastor Ferrari Moody confronts one of the most common — and costly — patterns in the lives of believers: returning to dead places, dead relationships, dead habits, and dead versions of ourselves, expecting to find life there.

This message will challenge you to examine your misplaced pursuits, your misunderstood locations, and whether you've forgotten the promises God has already spoken over your life. Because here's the hard truth — when God moves on and we stay, we stay stuck. And the longer we linger in dead places, the more that deadness becomes part of us.

But there is a way out. Jesus didn't just leave the tomb — He rose. And that same resurrection power is the invitation God is extending to you today.

If Jesus rose... why are you still laying there?

Thank you, God, my father and my king. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Let your power, God, be manifested to your people. Let your power, God. Let your power. We're gonna be in Luke chapter 24. Woo! Ah, the Holy Ghost says the dinner's gonna be there. It's gonna be there in Jesus' name. Amen. Some spiritual food. It's gonna get there. We're gonna get there. We're gonna get there in Jesus' name. We're in Luke chapter 24. I'm gonna read the same passage that he wrote for scripture reading. We're gonna start at verse 1, amen. The word of God reads. Matter of fact, this is what I'm gonna do. I wanna I'm gonna go back just a little bit. I wanna I wanna set the scene, amen. I'm gonna go back a little bit, but then I'm gonna hone in on our specific passage. I'm gonna go back to 20 to 23 and 29. This is Jesus. They got Jesus on the cross and they get ready to crucify him, and there's two thieves on Maddie, it's good to see you, baby. Two thieves on either side, amen. And so look at what the text says. 23, Luke 23 and 39. Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemied him, saying, If you are the Christ, save yourself and us. But the other answer and rebuked him, saying, Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? Verse 41. And he indeed justly, and we indeed justly we received the due reward of our deeds. But this man has done nothing wrong. Verse 42. Then he said, Then he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom. 43. And Jesus said to him, Assuredly I say to you, today, say today, today, today, today you will be with me in paradise. Verse 44. Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness all over the earth until the ninth hour. 45. Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. And when Jesus has cried out with a loud voice, he said, Father, into your hands I commit my spirit. Having said this, he breathed his last breath. 47. So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, said, Certainly, this was a righteous man. And the whole crowd who came together to that site, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and they returned. But all his acquaintances, all Jesus' acquaintances, and listen, the women who followed him from Galilee stood at a distance watching these things. The women who followed him all the way from Galilee stood at the they stood at a distance and they watched it. They watched the crucifixion, they watch it as they begin to take Jesus Christ's body off the cross. Look at what it says. It says, now behold, verse 50. There was a man named Joseph, a council member, a good and just man. He had not consented to their decision, indeed. He was from Armathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God. Amen. This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53. Then he took it down and he wrapped it in linen and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock. Listen to this, y'all. I want y'all to see this picture. Where no one had ever lain before. So they the Joseph is getting ready to put Jesus' body in the tomb. Amen. They said that the tomb was hewn, it was a rock, a big side of a mountain, and it's hewn down, it's cut out. Amen. That's where they for the bury him at. And it says 54. That day was the preparation, and the Sabbath drew near. And the women who had come with him from Galilee followed after. And they observed the tomb and how his body was laid. 56. Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils, and they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment. So these women following Jesus, they watched him die, they watched him take the body down, they watched him give it to Joseph. They watched Joseph put the body in the tomb. Amen. Verse 1, 24. Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they and certain other women with them came to the tomb bringing spices, which they had prepared. But they found the stone was rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by in the shiny garments. Then as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here but is risen. Then he says, Remember, remember how he spoke to you while he was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hand of sinful men and must be crucified, and on the third day rise again. You may be seated. Luke 24, 5 through 7, says this. Verse 5. Then as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, They said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead? Verse 6. He is not here but is risen. Remember how he spoke to you when he was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and on the third day rise again. Title of this message. This is the question that God wants us to ponder. First, stop looking for life in dead places. This is the question. God wants to know me, you, all of us in here, how long will you stay there? How long will you stay there? Before I preach, I want to ask a question. For each of us, me too. What is in your life right now that you already know is dead, but you keep going back to it? Let me say that one more time. What is in our lives right now that we already know is dead, but we keep going back to it. Dead places. That anger that you keep feeding, that hurt, that pain that you keep on rehearsing, that comfort, that lethargy, that laziness that you continue to find yourself waddling in. Dead places. Reality of it is this all of us in here know exactly how it feels to return to something that had died. We know that feeling. Whether it's a situation, a mindset, a habit, whether it's a neighborhood, we all know that feeling. And the cold part about that is this on the inside of us, we know that there's nothing there for us anymore, but we keep going back to it. That's the picture that we get in our text with these women. These women came looking for Jesus in a place where dead things belong. They came looking for Jesus Christ in a place where dead things belong, and uh along they search, alone they they they pursuit, haven't intervened, haven't interrupted them. The Bible says that that as they went to the tomb, they seen that Jesus' body was gone, and that they became greatly perplexed in their emotions sad, sorrow, confused, not understanding what's going on. Then the Bible says that two men with shiny white gourmet stood right there. See this guy, this God intervening. Why do you seek the living among the dead? In other words, why do you keep expecting life out of the very thing that's killing you? Why do you keep expecting life out of the very thing that's beating you down? Why do you keep expecting life out of the very thing that's robbing you of who you are? Why do you keep expecting life out of the very thing that got you on your last leg? Let's look at the text. Verse 5 says this that they came to the tomb, having interjects, it says, Why do you seek the living among the dead? That word seek it implies an intentional pursuit. It implies an intentional pursuit. So they didn't just get there by habitance, they arrived there on purpose, and that was the issue. Many of us right now today, we're not stuck by accident, we are intentionally returning to the very things that brought God has already brought us from intentional pursuit. Then he says, Why do you intentionally pursue the living amongst the dead? In context, this word living is speaking about Jesus because that's who they're pursuing. But we know that Jesus is the source of all life, it's speaking about them pursuing Jesus in his physical form is no different for us. We don't pursue Jesus in his physical form today because he left in glory, but we do pursue the truth of who he is, the principles that he stood on, the character that he displayed. We pursue that, right? Life. We pursue the very things that will give us the way life, make us uh uh uh vital as human beings on the earth with reward connected to God. That's life. So it says, Why do you seek life among the dead? This word dead, it implies tombs, decay, finality. In other words, you're looking for life in an environment that's defined by death. That's the great contradiction. That's what he's asking. You pursuing life in an environment that's defined by death. That's the contradiction. That's the that's the contradiction. So God is asking us, why are you pursuing life in an environment that's defined by death? And so what happened is this we want life. We begin to pursue life in environments that's defined by death. And so what happened is we begin to intentionally chase dead things: dead validation, dead approval, dead acceptance, dead love, dead relationships, dead pleasures, dead success, dead versions of our own self. And this is how we know when we are in a dead place. To know that you're in a dead place, let me show us a few things that how we can identify. One of the ways that we can identify if we are in a dead place is there will be a whole lot of activity, but no life. Let me say that one more time. There will be a whole lot of activity going on, but no life. I can think back, old version of me being on 97th Street, whole lot of activity. In one house, you got cracked cocaine being selled along with guns and weed, everything else. Across the street, you got another house that's selling pills. You got a long line of cars, men and women, doors open, music blasting, in the backyard of some dice gangs. They might be pitching for hundreds of dollars on the curb. A whole lot of activity. You got folk on the phone making connections. You got people pulling up, interactions being done. Whole lot of activity, but no life. No knowledge, no wisdom, no understanding, no love. The very things that Jesus brings, no life, no compassion, no loyalty, no honesty, no true commitment, a whole lot of activity, but no life. Another way you can identify if you are in a dead place. A whole lot of noise, but no peace. A whole lot of noise going on. Your name might be ringing, your reputation popping, you riding a good wave, just got you a new bomb job, a good career, that house on the hill that you've been praying for, been dreaming for, that you took all the wrong directions to get that new car you got, a whole lot of noise, but no peace. You got everything that your flesh desire, and you ain't got no peace. Another way that you can understand that you are in a dead place, a whole lot of folks, a whole lot of people around you, empty on the inside, unsatisfied on the inside, lonely on the inside, dead place, a dead place. This is how we begin to identify a dead place, whether we in a dead place, you got a whole lot of activity, a whole lot of noise, a whole lot of a whole lot going on, but you ain't got no no fulfillment, no satisfaction, no joy, no true peace on the inside. A dead place, a dead place, and so one thing about a dead place, understand that you will not find life in a place that God has already declared dead. You will not find life in a place where God is already declared dead. So the first thing God is saying, if you're gonna stop seeking life in dead places, you gotta understand the misunderstood pursuits, the misplaced pursuit. God says, What are you pursuing? What seek ye? What intentions have you made up your mind to chase? So God began to speak to us about our pursuits. About our pursuits. Then he says, This why are you still there? It don't stop there because the next verse he goes on. These men in these shiny garments ask him this why ye seek life in dead places? It says that he is not here. He is risen. He is not here, simply mean he has moved on. He is risen implies victory, power, authority over dead things, authority over death. So when it tells us, you're thinking you're pursuing life, life is in Christ, Christ is not here. That means God moved on. Some of us right now, God has moved on, but we stayed. God has delivered, but we keep revisiting. God has shut the door, but we keep on knocking. God has moved on, but we still there in that dead place. We standing right there in that dead place and God gone. And the reality of it is this when God moved, guess what? Go victory. When God moved, power leave. When God moved authority over your flesh, leave. So when God moved and we stay, we stay stuck. And can I share something with you? Here's the thing about this. When God begins to move, when God moves and we don't move with him, can I tell you why? Because of sin. Because of sin. When it says God has moved on, if you're in a relationship right now that's not stepped by God, God gone. If you're in an adulterous relationship, a fornicated relationship, God is gone. If you get your means provided by a means that opposes the mind of God, God gone. God not in no OnlyFans, He's not in no strip club, God not in no trap house. Can I tell you? Can I just speak plainly? Right? God don't bust moves. God don't do hookups. God is gone. He's moved on. But we still stuck in a dead place. God says, You're not crazy, you just at the wrong location. You're not crazy. And what I mean by God moved on is this. Not God is not sovereign, He's in control even when I'm in sin. Not that God is not the omniscient God everywhere at all times, He's still around, but His power is gone. His victory in your life is gone. The authority that you have with God is gone. Why? Because the Bible says that the wages of sin is death. Death came because of sin. The resurrection is proof that the Lord does not stay in places where death lives. The Lord does not stay in places where death lives. The Lord does not stay in places where my life is not in obedience to God. He's not there. In our mind, we can paint a whole good picture. We can tell ourselves a whole lot of stuff to justify. The reality of it is this I'm gonna tell you the truth. If you live in opposed to the will of God, God has moved on. And God says, Why are you you at the wrong address? You at the wrong address. You got a misunderstood location. You had a misunderstood location. You didn't understand. I am not there. God, it says he's risen, he moved on. God says, Why are you still there and I'm gone?

Yes, yes, yes.

Why are you still there and I'm gone? God not there. He left. When sin came, he left. Sin, death, what we're talking about, is nothing more than separation. We think about death, all if all we think about is dying and leaving in absence. Death is separation from God. Sin brings death. When I'm in sin, I'm separated from God. If I'm a believer, I'm separated in my fellowship. If I'm a non-believer, I'm stuck in my sin. Can I just share something with you? The Bible says if you don't believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, if you haven't really repented of your sin and placed your faith in the gospel, right? That you are a son of a daughter of the devil. See, people dress it up, the Bible don't. You are a son of a daughter of a devil. Ain't no waiting for nobody else to put it if God spoke it. I can't dress it up for you. It ain't nowhere between you either son of God, a child of God because you repented of your sins and believed in the gospel, or you a child of the devil. That's what the Bible says. And so our sin separates us as believers from fellowship. When fellowship leaves the presence of God is not there because of sin. The power of God is not there because of sin. The guidance of God is not there. We're setting ourselves up. That's why God says, Look, I'm left, I left. Don't stay there. You got to get back on board. He says he moved on, he's gone, he is risen. He risen. And so God says, Look, you're not going crazy, you're just at the wrong location. Yeah, I know your life in shambles right now. You're doing everything outwardly to appear a certain way, but you're gone on the inside. No peace, no joy, no satisfaction, no stability on the inside. Because I left and you stayed. I left and you stayed. And it reminds me of a picture. I was looking at the news a couple months ago. And I seen this old lady. And she was talking about her father out in Pasadena. The house had burned down. The house in rubbish. It's in rubber. It's in ashes. She's standing in the middle, talking about everything that's in the house, hanging on the memories that's in the house. Talking about what was and what used to be. While she's standing in the rubble, that's what it gives me a picture of. House burned down. We stuck out there holding on the memories. God says, I got a whole new address. I got some brand new keys. Why are you still there? You at the wrong location. That house burned. That's gone. That's dead. Let it go. It's gone. So God began to speak about our misunderstood locations. And then it says this. He goes on to say, Look, why are you seeking the living amongst the dead? He is not here, he is risen. Then he says with something so powerful. Remember. Remember how he spoke to you while he was in Galilee. Remember. Remember how he spoke to you when he was in Galilee and how he gave you a promise that the Son of God must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, must be crucified, and on the third day rise again. Remember. Remember. So watch this with the women, they perplexed, they crying, they didn't showed up at this tomb. And the men with the shiny garment says, Look, remember. So it wasn't a lack of information, it was a failure to remember what God had already told them. They weren't preplexed crying toe up because they didn't have the information. They didn't find their life in shambles because they didn't have the information. It was because they failed to remember what God had already told them. So watch this. Many of us right now, we grieving. We grieving, we grieving seasons. Seasons that God has called us to move on from. We grieving people that God has called us to remove ourselves from. We grieving and we hanging on. We grieving. Situations is buried. God says, why are you grieving? I didn't didn't. I told you this was part of the plan. God says, you didn't hear me speaking through the television, through your mama, through your daddy, through the pastor. I've been telling you it's not misinformation. You just refuse to hear the promise. I've been speaking to you, son. I've been speaking to you, daughter. You perplexed, you confused, because you you're not remembering what I told you. God says, I told you you was you was gonna be a victor. I told you you was gonna get up. I told you you was gonna make it, you forgot. I told you that you was a king and a priest. I told you that you was the thought of the earth, the light of the word. I told you that, you forgot. I promised you that I will give you all the spiritual blessings in heavenly places, you forgot. God says, I've been giving you promise after promise. It's not a lack of information. God says, You're crying over something I already planned to end. God says, You know that deep down you know that that's not you knew that wasn't gonna work. You allowed that to rob you of their identity, of their innocence, of who you are, and even after it robbed you, you steady going back. God says that's killing you, it's killing you physically, and you you can't even see what it's doing to you spiritually because you refuse to move on. You refuse to move on. So the first thing God begins begin to speak about why are you still there? Many of us we still there because our misplaced pursuits chasing dead stuff, dead identities, dead relationships, dead careers, dead validations, dead people. We chasing dead stuff. And God is saying, look, you're not empty because it's like nothing don't exist. You're empty because what you keep chasing can't live. God says, what you chasing can't live with me. That's why you feel empty on the inside. Not because I don't have nothing for you. The second thing he begins to speak to us about is our misplaced location. We find ourselves pursuing all this stuff. The very things we begin to return to that God delivered us from, the very things where we were trapped, God got us out, we begin to go right back to it. God says, stop chasing, going to people and places that only recognize the old you. You steady returning to people and places they don't recognize who you are in God. They don't have the spiritual wherewithal, the spiritual understanding to see you as a man and woman of God. They're not gonna respect you, they're not gonna commit to you, they're not gonna be faithful to you, they're not gonna marry you, they don't see who you are, they don't see it, and you steady running back to it. Very thing that's killing you, very thing that's harming you, the very thing that's breaking you. God says, Stop returning to people and places that only recognize the owe you. You're a new creation in Christ Jesus, you are a new creation. Why do you have the new royalty? Why you got them people around you? Do you know who you are? Do you know who you are? Then God began to speak to us about misremembering the promise. God says, I already promised you. I told you what I would do. I told you that I'm gonna bring you out, I'm gonna build you up, that I'm gonna stabilize you. I told you that the gifts and callings in your life is gonna be magnified when you trust me. Don't forget, don't sell out for less. We sell out for what this world offers, and God said, That's what you're selling for for real? You're gonna compromise for that? Only if you knew. With this, with this, when we begin to forget, confusion arises when we forget what God said. And here's the danger. When we find ourselves hanging out in dead places, deadness become part of us. When we find ourselves hanging out with dead folk, because I tell you, it's only two types of people people that's alive by the spirit and people that's dead, don't have the spirit. When we find ourselves hanging out in dead places with dead people, deadness become part of us. I used to be honest, now I'm hanging around a bunch of liars and manipulators. Guess what? I start lying, I start manipulating. I used to be sober-minded. Now that I got a whole bunch of alcoholics around me, guess what now? Now I'm getting drunk. Now that I'm getting drunk, and the cold part about it, when we do it, it affects us way, way worse than the unbelievers. Because we know better. We know the real. See, we lose everything when we do it. They still on, they still popping. We go, we toe up. Toe up. We toe up when we do it. That deadness becomes part of who we are. When we don't value our innocence, and we hang around folk that don't have standards and values and morals and character, guess what we start doing? Cheating and lying and fornicating and sleeping around and hanging out, and then we do all that. Yeah. Because bad company corrupt good habits. That deadness becomes part of our character. God said, That's not who I called you to be. That's not who I called you to be. That's not who I called you. Y'all gotta hear me today. We get to that place where we in that dead place for so long. Deadness become part of who we are, and we forget what life really like. If we be honest, some of us right here today, we can't even tell you what peace feels like. We can't even tell you what true joy is. We can't tell you what it means to be fulfilled on the inside. Yeah, not stuff. I ain't talking about external stuff, temporary stuff that say, leave, and go. I'm talking about stuff that the character of God that abides. Yeah, where I can have joy, not because of my circumstances or my position. I don't gotta have a dime to have joy. I don't gotta have a dime to be happy, to smell, and to treat people right. We're talking about the abiding character of God on the inside. When we're in those dead places, we begin to die on the inside and we forget what life really feels like. That's the danger of staying in a dead place. But can I tell you something? The Bible says that on early Sunday morning, see now I'm gonna give you some solution to your deadness. The Bible says that early Sunday morning, he went to the tomb. The women that was preplexed, that was crying, it said that they went to the tomb, and when they got to the tomb, that the rock was rolled away. Can I share something with you? The rock wasn't rolled away in order for Jesus to leave. Do you know the rock could have stayed in it? Our Savior could have left. The rock didn't have to move for him to leave. The rock left. What would it tell you about Jesus to move the rock? The rock was for me and for you, so that we can see and we can know that our savior lived. That's why he moved the rock. So you and I can know that Jesus is not dead, but he's alive. The Bible said that on the third day that he rose up, he got up off the grave. Yeah, yeah. Death tried to keep him. Hell tried to trap him. The grave thought they had him. The Bible says that he rose. Could I ask you something? If Jesus rose, why are you still laying there? If Jesus rose, why are we still laying in that dead place? God rose up. Do we believe it? That's the question. Do we really do our belief go beyond church? Do I believe in this truth that I'm speaking? This truth that transforms a man's mind, that transforms a woman's character, that'll make a heart virtuous? Do that truth penetrate your soul? That'll turn a crip into a saint? That type of truth that'll take a mind that's gone and regulated? Does that truth penetrate your soul? Because when that truth penetrate your soul, you're gonna rise up. When that truth gets real, you're gonna rise up. So today you got one or two options. And we finna leave, I know. You got one or two options. Either you're gonna stay in that dead place, entertaining those dead situations, hanging around those dead people. The Bible called them dead. I ain't judging nobody. The Bible says they're dead. Not only do it say they're dead, but it says they that they're governed by the spirit of the devil. The Bible says that they're enemies of God. See, we don't understand when we out here just operating in the world. We don't understand the spiritual truths, we don't understand some of the spiritual truths that's resting on our kids. That they are the enemies of God while we stand by. Imagine that. While we stand by and let the devil ravis our babies and disintegrate our the foundations of our households, my God. We got two answers. Either we're gonna stay in that dead place around all that deadness, that dead stuff, that Jesus Christ paid the price. Do you know that Jesus Christ paid the price so we can live? And when I say live, it's not I'm not talking about having breath. I'm talking about that we he paid a price that we could be change agents in the earth. I know that a lot of a lot of us we we battle and we struggle and we fight. That's a human experience. But God says, I've called you, you are gifted, you're chosen, you're predestined. I had this in my mind before I created the earth. You're not normal, you're peculiar. You're a peculiar folk, a peculiar people. I didn't create you to waddle in the mud. I didn't do it. So we got one. We either we're gonna stay in that dead place or we're gonna begin to live. The choice is totally up to us because one thing about God, He's not gonna force us to do anything. That's why, as parents, we don't force our kids to do nothing. We tell them the truth, we tell them the consequences, are they thoughts, are they actions, are they plans? We give them the why. Why is now it depends on how old your kid is. Let me let me let me retract. Your grown kids, but our babies, we tell them exactly what to do, and you better keep telling because if you don't, the government gonna tell them. There these doctors gonna tell them, don't let you in, but they take them back there by themselves. Yeah, yeah, yeah. These classrooms, these teachers gonna tell them how to sleep with another boy and another girl. They're gonna tell them. So we better tell them. We better implant truth in them now. Don't wait, don't wait. The devil don't care, the devil not patient because your baby a baby. What? What the devil wants to get in their brains, he wanna use social media to poison their brains. He wanna use all that garbage to get our kids, and if we don't give them a fighting chance, if we don't tell them no truth, our babies gonna burn in hell. Can I just be see? I don't I'm I didn't come to play. Our baby's gonna burn in hell if we don't be representatives of the kingdom in our household first. We can't be dead and then pass the deadness to our babies. See, that's how it happened. Yeah, we dead, and guess what? The same dead activity, the same dead characteristics, same dead mindset, belief, we pass them right on to our babies. And they grew up doing everything we did. And see, I'm gonna tell you this way it's colder for them. You know why? Because as generations go, the wickedness increased. So when we was doing it, it wasn't that bad. See, yeah, yeah, when we was doing it, it was okay. Now, straight wicked, straight wicked. So I don't know where you at, but I'm gonna tell you this. Jesus Christ, listen to me, y'all. Jesus Christ is the only qualified person to save you. Jesus Christ is the only equipped person to change you. Buddha can't do it. Muhammad can't do that. No religious leader can do that. No prophet in the Bible can do that. There's only one man in that Bible that said this. I got the power to raise the dead and then judge them after that. Show me a prophet to speak like that. That's God in the flesh, man. Yeah, yeah. You heard you always say, Man, can't nobody judge me, but God, guess who's gonna judge you? You're gonna stand before Jesus Christ. On judgment day, you're standing before Jesus. Jesus. He's the only one qualified to forgive you of your sin. Can I share something with you? God the Father, don't forget. Jesus forgive you of sins. He says, I forgive men of their sin. Go pick up your bed, walk. I forgive you. Can't no man do that. If you don't know Jesus, you you you're located at the wrong address. You at the wrong now forget, forget all that. Let me share this. All of us got a mental consider, Jesus. If you haven't gave your life to Jesus, you can know him all you want. You can know Jesus Christ all you want. You can think he believed he got all you want. But Jesus says this repent and believe. That means you got to know me to the place to where you're willing to submit your will. You're willing to change your mind. You know me to the place where you're willing to change your mind about your lifestyle. Not acknowledge me, but know me to the place that I'm God. And if your life oppose who I am. And if you don't change, I'm gonna have to judge you. That's God, speak like that. That's God. Have a change of mind about your actions, about your attitudes, about how you show up in the world. Then believe. See, we do people a disservice behind this pulpit. Oh, just believe in God is everything. That's a lie. That's a lie. Don't just believe in God and everything's gonna be good. That's a lie. Repent first. God says, Come, let's reason together. Sit down with me. Let's talk about how you've been living. Let's talk about what you've been doing. Let's talk about how you who you've been hanging out with, what they've been doing, and how you think because your mom and your daddy don't know I didn't see. Let's talk about it. Let's reason together. Then he's so good, he says, though your sins are like crimson, though they red as scarlet, I'll make them white as snow. See, only God can do that. Only God can do that. I don't know where you're at today, but if you have not, if you have not repented of your sin and placed your faith in Jesus, I need you to come up. I need you to come up. I need you to come up.
