God Still Creates Through You

Have you ever stopped to think that the same God who created the world into existence is the very same God who wants to create through you? We look up at the sky, at the oceans, at the mountain, at a newborn's tiny fingers, and we call it creation. And it is. But somewhere along the way, we started believing that creating was something God did a long time ago. And not something he still does today, but something he expects to do through us. But here's what I've come to know. You were not just created, you were created by a creator in his image, which means there is something creative, something purposeful, something kingdom building, woven into the very fabric of who you are. And he is not finished forming it. I didn't fully believe that about myself. And when the Holy Spirit first handed me assignments to bring forth, I didn't even know how to begin. I felt unqualified, emotional, uncertain. And I imagined what he was asking me to create, and I only saw everything I wasn't. But the moment I stopped seeing myself through my own eyes and started seeing myself the way he sees me, everything changed. And as we close this season together, I want to show you how a creator takes a will in vessel and creates something beautiful, purposeful, and full of hope right through their hands. Let's step into the finale.

Whether you've journeyed with me from the very first episode, or you just found this podcast somewhere along the way, I'm so grateful you're here for this closing chapter. All of season two on awareness unlocked, we've been building something real with God, step by step. We acknowledged him, we worshiped and praised him, we surrendered fully to him, we rooted ourselves in his word. We came into alignment, we learned to listen and obey. We pressed in through fasting and prayer, and we discover the beauty of pursuing him daily. And now for the finale, we arrived at something that ties it all together. Creation. Because everything God has poured into you this season was always meant to be brought forth. He's the creator, and he made you in his image to partner with him, to be a vessel he creates through you. That's exactly what he's been doing in my own life. And today, I want to share how he took me, someone who didn't even know where to begin, and taught me to create with him for his kingdom. So settle in. And by the end, I believe you'll see yourself and the God who made you in a whole new light.

Learning To Start Unqualified

Now let me share with you how God worked through me in this particular season of my journey with Him. When I first started to work on the assignments I received from the Holy Spirit, I didn't quite know how to begin them. I had this thing in front of me that God was asking me to bring forth and no clear idea of where to even start. Still, I began without any clear insight. And here's what I experienced. When I got further into that assignment, the Holy Spirit began to assist me throughout the entire process. And it was then that everything started to flow exactly how it needed to be from the beginning. What once felt impossible to do suddenly had a rhythm to it. His rhythm. Now, my first assignment was deeply personal, and I had a lot of emotions during that process. But the Holy Spirit, he comforted me through every single one of those uncomfortable moments. He never rushed me, he never left me in it alone. And with his constant help, I was able to keep going, to keep working by his strength, by his will. And here is something that amazed me. As I was still working on that first assignment, the Holy Spirit gave me a few more. And I began to see something new about God. I began to see that he trusted me, that he trusted me enough, not only in the form of partnership, but to work through me for the kingdom of God. And the more I created with the Holy Spirit, the more I began to recognize his voice in a way I never have before. In the middle of noise or distractions, I could still hear his voice. My second assignment was this very podcast. And honestly, I didn't believe this was something I saw myself partaking into. But the Holy Spirit gave me the exact encouragement I needed through his word. In the moments when I became uncertain about my speech, about my ability to even speak, he led me to the book of Moses to remind me of who he is and what he can do. And that's when I made a conscious decision. I decided to start seeing myself the way he sees me. And once I started to view myself in the way he viewed me, everything changed. Now here I am at the end of season two, and I can say wholeheartedly, I could not have gotten this far without the Holy Spirit guidance and encouragement. And my prayer is that along the way, you have been inspired in a way that you have never before. By the end of this finale episode, you'll be notified of what the Holy Spirit will guide me to bring next. However, there are some other assignments that I am currently working on, and once the Holy Spirit allows me to release them, I will be so happy to tell you all about those creations. Because every single one of those assignments is purposeful. Every one of them is being created for one reason, to help and encourage others to find hope in their life, a means to bring them closer to God.

Genesis And The Spirit Hovering

Now let's move into the Word of God as an extension to the topic of creation, because there is so much God wants to reveal to you here at the end of this season. I want you to walk away from this episode with full understanding that you were created for a purpose that you may not yet be aware of. So let us now review what God says in his word. I will dissect them into various sections. In this first section, we will talk about how God created the beginning. So now let's start where everything began in the very first verse of the entire Bible. In Genesis 1, verse 1, it reads, In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. This shows us that creation was the very important app before the world began. Before there was anything, there was God. And the first thing scripture tells us about Him is that He is a creator, not a distant force, not an idea, a creator. One who brings forth, one who brings substance into reality. And I want you to notice how He created. In Genesis 1, verse 2, it says, The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Right there, before a single thing was formed, the Holy Spirit was present, hovering, ready. The same spirit who hovered over the waters at the dawn of creation is the very same Holy Spirit who hovers over you when God places an assignment in your hands. The same spirit who brought order out of chaos in the very beginning is the one who brings forth your end quote without form and void into flow exactly as it needs to be. So what formless and empty thing in your life has God been asking you to let his spirit over over so that he can breathe life into it? Now we have section two, which describes how God created by his spoken word. Now watch how God creates, he speaks. Genesis 1 verse 3 states, and God said, Let there be light, and there was light. And here's the beautiful connection. John 1 verses 1 to 3 tells us In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. The same word that spoke creation into existence is Jesus Himself. So when I told you that the Holy Spirit encouraged me through his word, when he led me to the book of Moses to remind me who he is and what he can do, that wasn't just information. That was the creative power of God speaking life, speaking courage, speaking into a woman who didn't believe she could speak at all. Beloved, his word still creates. It created faith where there was fear. It created confidence where there was doubt. But most importantly, it created a yes where there was uncertainty. So what has God's word been trying to speak into existence in you that you've been too afraid to receive? Let's move into section three, which is a reminder that you are made in God's image. This is where it gets personal because God didn't just create things. Genesis 1, verses 26 and 27 notifies us that we were created in God's likeness. His word says, Then God said, Let us make man in our image after our likeness. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him, male and female, he created them. The two statements in God's word are, in his image, in his likeness. So you see, beloved, of everything God made, the oceans, the galaxies, the mountains, only you were made in his image. And if God, the Creator, created you at his very core, then being made in his image means there is a creative, purposeful, bringing forth nature placed inside of you. This is why he can partner with you. This is why he can work within you for his kingdom. Because he made you like himself, capable of carrying his assignments and bringing them forth into the earth. So in truth, you are not just a spectator of God's creation. You are designed to create with him. Now that you are aware that you are made in the image of God, what would you have the courage to bring forth?

Made In His Image To Create

Now in section four, we are shown that you are his masterpiece, created for God's works. Let's look at one of the most powerful verses in all scripture about who you are. Ephesians 2 verse 10 states, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. That word, workmanship, in the original language it's poema. It's where we get our English word poem and masterpiece. You are God's masterpiece, his poem, his handcrafted work of art. But look at the rest of that verse. You were created for good works, which God prepared beforehand. So before you were ever born, God had already prepared the assignments, the creations that He wanted you to walk in. They were never random. And as I shared, every single assignment is purposeful, created to help others, to encourage others, to bring them closer to God. That truth is not just based on one individual's person's assignment, but for everyone. God prepared them beforehand. They already have your name on them. You're not creating out of nothing. You're stepping into the guidance of what he already prepared you for. What good work do you sense God prepared for you beforehand that you've been waiting to feel ready for? Now let's look at section five. This is where it shows how he knit you together on purpose. You see, before you ever created anything, you were the creation. And I don't want you to miss how intentional God was in making you. Psalm 139, verses 13 and 14 speaks of that transformation. The word reads, For you formed my inward parts, you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well. Beloved, you were knitted, not an accident, carefully woven, lovingly, stitch by stitch, by the hands of the Creator Himself. And everything he placed in you, every gift, every passion, even the very ability to speak that I once doubted I had, he wove it in for purpose. This is exactly why when I decided to start seeing myself the way God sees me, everything changed. Because when you finally see yourself through the eyes of the one who knitted you together, you stop disqualifying what he deliberately created within you. What lies have you been currently believing about yourself when you were fearfully and wonderfully made by the one who created you? In section six, Scripture reveals that you were created for God's glory. So if you've ever asked yourself, why did God create you? Or what's the ultimate purpose for you being here on earth? Scripture reveals the truth for answering these questions. In Isaiah 43, verse 7, God says, Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made. You were created for this one thing for his glory, which means the assignment he gives you were never meant to make your name great, they were meant to make his name known. That's why every creation he brings to life carries a purpose beyond you, to help, to encourage, to bring hope, and to draw people closer to him. And there is freedom in that, because if your creation is for his glory, then your life was never meant to carry any burdens in this life. You're the vessel, he's the one being glorified through you. Let's move to section seven, where he uses the insecure as shown in the book of Moses.

Moses And God’s Co-Laborers

Now let's ponder a bit in this section because this was the very scripture the Holy Spirit led me to when I doubted my own speech. In the book of Exodus, God calls Moses to a massive assignment, and listen to how Moses responded. Exodus 4, verse 10 predicts the way Moses saw himself. Moses' response was this, but Moses said to the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, but I am slow of speech and of tongue. Sounds familiar? That was me. Uncertain about my speech, convinced I was not the best choice for the assignment I was chosen for, looking at the assignment and only seeing what I wasn't qualified for. But God responded with such certainty. In Exodus four, verses eleven and twelve, Moses got reminded that God is the creator of all things included him. Then the Lord said to him, Who has made man's mouth? Is it not I, the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak. God is in control of all outcomes. He made your mouth amongst other areas, so surely he is able to do the impossible. That's what the Holy Spirit brought to my awareness when he used his word to encourage me. He reminded me of who he is and what he can do. And this is the same reminder you heard in the story of Moses, and now he's reminding you today. So what have you been fearful of that God has been trying to do through you? Knowing what you know now, would you trust him to lead you where he's guiding you? Now we are moving forward into section eight. This is where God starts to partner with you. Here's something that still amazes me today. The fact that God trusts me, that he trusts me enough to not only partner with me, but to work within me for his kingdom. And that's exactly what Scripture says about us. First Corinthians 3 verse 9 says, For we are God's fellow workers, you are God's field, God's building. And 2 Corinthians 6 verse 1 calls us exactly what you just heard, working together with Him. Fellow workers and co-laborers, the God of all creation chooses to bring forth his purposes through us. He doesn't need us, but he chooses us. He invites us into the sacred work of building his kingdom. That is trust and it is an honor. So will you allow God to use you as a fellow worker and co-laborer? We are almost at the finish line of this teaching segment.

Trusting God To Finish The Work

So now let's continue in section nine. In this very section, God finishes everything that he starts. Let us look at a verse from Philippians in chapter one. Here's the promise that ties this whole season together, the reassurance that God's creation which he began in you, he completes. Now in verse six of Philippians chapter one, we will see how God continues the work he started. It states, And I'm sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it into completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Here's the thing. I didn't know how to begin my assignment, but I began them anyway. And the Holy Spirit and his loving nature met me exactly right where I was. And that same faithfulness is also your inheritance. You see, God is not going to start a work in you and abandon you in it halfway. The one who started it finishes it. Your part is simply to begin and to keep trusting. What good works has God started in you that you need to trust Him to complete one step at a time. Now here we are at the final section. Thank you for hanging in there with me. For section 10, we will discover all the creation that is awaiting you. And I'll close the teaching here, because this verse gives way to everything we've said. Romans 8, verse 19 reads, For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. This is telling us that all of creation, the very world God spoke into existence. Is waiting. Waiting for the sons and daughters of God to wake up, to step into who they were designed to be, to bring forth what heaven placed within them. There are people attached to your obedience. There is hope attached to your yes. Someone's breakthrough is waiting on the creation God wants to release through you. So don't deny it. Don't disqualify it. Don't wait until you feel ready. Because the creator is hovering over you right now, ready to bring your formless, obscurity, meaningful purpose into fruition. Do you believe someone on the other side of the world might be waiting on you to step into purpose to further the kingdom of God? Can we come before our creator together one final time this season?

Closing Prayer For Purpose

Let's pray. Father in heaven, in the beginning, you created the heavens and the earth, and that same creative power, that same hovering spirit is with us right now. So we invite you, Holy Spirit, hover over every formless, empty place in our lives and bring it into formation. Thank you for making us in your image, for knitting us together, fearfully and wonderfully made on purpose. Forgive us for the times we've seen ourselves through our own eyes instead of yours. Today we choose to see ourselves the way you see us. Lord, like Moses, we've doubted our own ability, but you are the one who made our mouths, our hands, our hearts, and you promise to be with them. So be with us every day. Fill what you created, speak through what you formed. Thank you for trusting us, for partnering with us, for working within us for your kingdom. We don't take that honor lightly. Use us as vessels, Lord. Bring forth every assignment, every creation that you've placed inside of us for your glory and for the hope of others. Finish what you've started in us. We trust that the good work you began you will complete, not for our name, but for yours. So here we are, Lord, create through us in the mighty precious holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior. Amen.

And just like that, we've completed all nine episodes of season two. But before we part ways, I want to leave you with something to take with you as you continue your journey with God. All that God has placed within you, that assignment, that dream, that creation, you don't yet know how to begin. Start anyway, just like I did. You don't have to have it all figured out. You simply have to take the first step and trust that the Holy Spirit will meet you exactly where you are to bring your purpose to life in the way he desires to.
