says, And Jacob loved Rachel and said, I will serve thee seven years for Rachel, thy younger daughter. 00:17:26.400 --> 00:17:29.119 Let's go to verse number 30. 00:17:29.680 --> 00:17:39.680 It says, and he went in also with Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served yet with him another seven years. 00:17:39.839 --> 00:17:40.960 Verse number 31. 00:17:41.039 --> 00:17:48.079 And when the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren. 00:17:48.319 --> 00:17:54.799 So we see that there was a complicated situation that was happening. 00:17:59.039 --> when you don't look at the positive and you look at the negative, then you can focus more on the negative than you do on the positive. 00:18:28.720 --> 00:18:32.559 Jacob, the Bible says, love Rachel. understood the importance of I have to raise children with fear and admonition of the Lord, and it is an honor to be a mother. 00:19:25.519 --> 00:19:28.000 It is an honor to be a mother. 00:19:30.160 00:20:48.160 --> 00:21:08.720 Here's the wound: the pain of an unfulfilled desire that became a vulnerable place for her identity, expectations, and her marriage to be affected. 00:21:09.200 --> 00:21:19.599 So it was, listen, the pain of an unfulfilled desire. 00:21:26.000 --> 00:21:29.759 This is where marriages break down. 00:21:30.880 --> 00:21:40.160 Because it's an unfulfilled desire, focused on. 00:21:52.799 --> 00:21:59.759 She had a husband who loved her, she had everything else that she needed, but she focused in on that. 00:22:00.799 --> 00:22:10.720 One thing that one area
