Hey everyone, how is it going today? My name is Jay, and I'd like to welcome you to the Redeeming Evil Podcast, where we not only confront evil, but find a way to redeem it through the sanctity and holiness of God's unmatchable word. So before I do go into anything else, I just wanted to say that I hope everyone out there listening to this is having a very great day to say the least, and that your week has been exceedingly good to you so far. And I also do want to thank you so very much for tuning in today for this episode. I really, really do appreciate anyone that listens to these shows that I put together because I'm not sure if anyone has noticed. But let me tell you guys, I pour my whole heart and my whole soul into each of these. And I really want to make a difference here. I really, really do. So if I ever do come off, you know, overly zealous or passionate at times, that's only because it's just who I am. But, anyways, again, thank you so much for the support, and I do hope that you enjoy the show. So I actually think that this is going to be a pretty fun one today, at least for me, I guess, because we are going to talk about one of the most controversial figures in modern day history, and we all know who he is, Mr. 4547 himself, the president of these United States of America, Mr. Donald J. Trump. Now, to say this man is controversial is a bit of an understatement to say the least. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen so many people have such differing opinions about one man in my entire life. You got those who love him, those who hate him, and those who voted for him because they believe he is the lesser of the two evils. And you know what? Just like with everything else, everyone is going to have their own opinions. And I've said this before, but I'll say it again. No matter how someone feels about something, we don't have to resign ourselves to a near civil war on every matter. Everyone is different and we all think differently. I mean, there's just some issues that we so closely align ourselves with another person on, but then there might just be one or two topics that we respectfully disagree on. Nothing wrong with that, by the way. In fact, on my last episode, I honored the late great Charlie Kirk. And though I got love for that man something fierce, there were a few things here and there that I didn't agree with him on. Didn't make me love him any less, just respectfully disagreed with him is all. Respect is such a beautiful thing, by the way. And we would all do well to exercise it, even when we don't agree. Because when you hone in on the disagreements and not at all on the positives of a person, you can easily rebuke or deny the things that you actually do agree with deep down inside, just because you have formed an outright opinion on someone that cannot be changed whatsoever. And then our ugly pride just solidifies the wall between any bridge that you may have met in the middle on. It's a vicious cycle, folks. It really, really is. I mean, we have gotten to the point that the hate is so strong in our world that even if a leader defeated the demon of cancer, they would still be torn apart by the very act itself. It's crazy. It's absolutely crazy to me. I just think we really need to get away from that corruptible and very corrosive way of thinking. But, anyways, anything I do say today is not some kind of ploy to tell you that you're wrong and I'm right, because I just don't fly that way. However, I do have some pretty solid opinions on the man Donald Trump, and I just wanted to share my perspectives with you today. So that's what I'm going to do. So, anyone that listened to The Monster I Was, The Miracle I Am, my second episode, by the way, would know that I am the dishonorable recipient of three very regrettable felonies. Now, though it does not hurt my self-esteem whatsoever to have such an ugly record, it does come with a period of losing one's rights, which as you can imagine is completely no bueno to say the least. Now, what are those rights that a person with the felony loses is the right to vote? But luckily, it is only for just a few years. I think for me, if I remember correctly, it was three years. I don't really know, to be honest, because I did get it back so long ago. But when I did get the sacred right reinstated to my person, I wasn't at all, you know, even politically motivated or even interested, to be honest. I think at that point in my life, I was really just loving life without the drugs and fully dedicated to my job at the time. Politics just weren't that big of a deal to me. And I'm not even really sure when that all changed. Might have been more so when Biden was president, but I can't be too sure on that. I do remember, though, when President Trump ran for his first term, that that would have been the year that I believe that I had the opportunity to vote for the very first time. Not a whole lot of recollection on all that, to be real with you guys. But I do know that I desperately did not want Hillary Clinton to be our president, did not want that whatsoever. But I also did not have a whole lot of opinion on Trump either. So shamefully, I just didn't vote. And although the election did work out for the best in my side at least, I'm still ashamed of myself that I did not do what a child of God and true patriot would do, and that is to fight for freedom and for Christian values in this country. And again, I'm still not sure when I started to get a little bit more passionate about politics, but I do feel that that was somewhere in the midst of President Trump's first bit, especially towards the end when the COVID-19 virus so sadly impacted our world and took the lives of too many innocent people in the process. And really, to be honest, I don't have an actual opinion on how our president handled that whole situation because, as I said, I really just wasn't paying as much attention as I should have been. But I do feel that he did the best he could with the cards that he was dealt at that point. And then January 6th happened. And I do recall that at that time I was certainly getting more into politics quite substantially, actually. But to say I was disappointed by what happened that day is an absolute understatement. Like I just could not believe that our Capitol was taken over by people that I felt were dishonoring our country and the sacred building where our U.S. Senate and House of Representatives assemble. However, I do still understand why they were there and what they were fighting for, to be fair here. But despite how frustrated I was by some of the actions of the Trump supporters that came to the Capitol that day, namely when they were yelling to hang Mike Pence in the midst of all the turmoil, that really pissed me off something fierce, by the way. I did not put the blame on Donald Trump over this, even though so many people did. Because when Trump told his supporters to go to the Capitol peacefully and patriotically to make their voices heard and to fight for our country, it is not my opinion that he was calling for an insurrection whatsoever. And I really felt as if his words were misconstrued and blown out of proportion to mean the exact opposite of what he was actually trained to say. Regardless, though, I really don't want to get into all that, to be honest, because I don't like to live in the past. I like to live in the now because what happened then does not change where we are at at this present time. What's over is over, but it does still get brought up so much, even in this year 2026. So I did want to, you know, maybe share an overview of where my stance is on the incident that happened that day. So when President Biden became our 46th president, that was a very painful day for me, to say the least. Like, man, that was a low blow. But shamefully, I still hadn't gone to vote. Not sure why in the world I didn't, because I really just can't remember that far back. But I do know that I was going through some serious turmoil in my life during that period of time. And I still just wasn't as passionate about politics as I am today. But during the time that Mr. Biden was our president, I became deeply concerned with the state of our country. And my sense of patriotism began to light a fire in my soul that we needed a change, a really, really big change, because I did not like what I saw at all. Like, not even the slightest. I had no faith in the man, no trust whatsoever, couldn't stand his policies, believed our country had become weak under his leadership, wondered most of the time where in the world he was even at, to be honest. Even felt sad for him that, in my opinion, he was being used by the Democratic Party. And I was also deeply disgusted with him on several occasions. The failed pullout of our troops from Afghanistan and the lack of care or concern for the lives lost during that time and the non-existent comfort that he showed to the families of these brave service members boiled my blood, as did the way that he handled the crisis at the border, or should I say, lack thereof. And that's just a couple examples that I'm choosing to lay out there for you guys. But I'm certainly not going to continue naming off the many things that Joe did or did not do that showed his very weak stance on leading this great country, because this show obviously is not about him. It's about President Trump. And I really, really do want to be as kind as I can here, but I am just trying to lay a little bit of a context before I continue, since we are getting to the point when Trump ran successfully for his second term. Now, before I do go any further, I want to make a very important point here. There are plenty of people, namely believers in Christ that I'm speaking of, that do not feel that politics and faith should coexist. And I do agree with that to some point, but not so much at all, if that makes any sense. Probably not, because it really doesn't even make a whole lot of sense to me the way I just said that. But for anyone that has this mindset or belief, I want to speak directly to you right now on my opinion regarding the subject. It is my full and true belief that we as believers have a duty or an obligation to ensure that we are fighting for our countries in every way that we can. And that is especially true when it comes to policy. Whether you dislike both candidates or maybe you like one or not the other, it is important to look at both sides to see which policies will usher in a more biblical existence in our societies. Romans 12,9 commands us to abhor or hate what is evil and to cling to or hold fast to what is good. And this is a scripture that I often think of when pondering or thinking about this subject. Now, for me, I ask myself, what policies fall more in line with the word of God? What actions from a prospective president are going to do more harm than good spiritually? What is our country even going to look like under this person's leadership? Is it going to create the next Saddam and Gomorrah? Or is it going to create a world that has more purity and holiness? And again, it's important to ask yourself these questions, even when you don't like the candidates set before you, because I personally think that when we say, I don't want either, that is not doing your due diligence to help protect biblical concepts and a more civilized society. And I also feel that we are failing our country and not serving our God when we don't pick the person who is the lesser of the two evils. Now, on the flip side of that, I honestly think that politics have infiltrated some of our churches way beyond what should be acceptable. And again, just my opinion. But when we focus so much on policy, it becomes less about our creator. I mean, sure, we are fighting tooth and nail with a more biblical worldview in mind, but in doing so, it can actually become something of an idol. Because when we are so focused on all that, we can easily take our eyes off the true reason that we fight for everything we do, and that is Christ Himself. So I guess my point is that politics and faith are very intricately woven together. And by voting, we are serving our God. But on the other hand, politics are temporary and our creator is eternal. So as Colossians 3.17 says, whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Therefore, if we speak, we speak in the name of God. If we act, we do so with God in mind. When we fight, we fight with the Lord in our hearts. And no matter the trials or tribulations that come forth as a result of politics or disagreements in our world, we glory in the triumph that Jesus promised us in John 16, 33, where he said, In this world, you will have tribulation, but take heart, I have overcome the world. And it is this truth, that assurance, which should always grant us the sweetest rest for our souls, even when everything around us seems like it is falling apart. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for all that you have done. So when Donald Trump made it known that he was running again, I have to say that I was filled with so much hope, so much excitement because I knew that if he became our president, it would help to mitigate certain evils in our country. And I do understand that there are many out there that don't agree with me on that. But once again, lovelies, your opinion is your right. I'm just making mine known since I'm obviously the one presenting this material today. But let me tell you guys, personally, I got mad love for Donald Trump. I really, really do. And I have no apologies to anyone where that is concerned. Now I understand that he does and says things sometimes that make you flinch here and there or leave you squirming in your seat a bit. We've all been on the receiving end of it. When he comes out with something, you're just like, dude, what the heck, man? Like, I don't know whether to laugh or retreat or something heck. I'm not sure how to respond to that whatsoever. But the man is epic and he is authentic, a very, very unique individual, to say the least. There's really no one out there quite like him in regards to personality and presence. And I don't know, maybe that's part of why I like him so much, because he is just so unapologetically himself. Because for me, I felt at the time and still do that we need someone running this country in this day of age in which we live in right now that is completely different. Someone who you can believe when they say they are going to do something and then they actually follow it through. Someone who has the courage and the strength to fight like hell for America, even when he knows that the opposition he gets is inevitable, but in the process does not show any fear whatsoever when making decisions that dramatically change the country in which we live. Now, some may say that those things are for the worse, some, like me, will say that they are for the better. Because my stances on his policies and his actions are not just that they make America great again and safe again, but they also align more with biblical concepts, which I will actually get to a little later on. Regardless of how anyone feels about him, though, President Trump is no coward and he is not afraid to take action whatsoever. And whether you like him or not, come on, man, you gotta at least agree with me on that. This fan fights for what he believes in and he believes in America. He believes in bettering the lives of the American people, which I will also prove my case for here in a little bit as well. So people often ask how a Christian can vote for and support Donald Trump. But I just want to make it very clear that no matter how anyone is perceived by other people, only God himself knows the hearts of every man. Only he knows what hearts will respond to him and whose hearts will not. And it is my opinion that we need a bold and fearless leader right now in the times that we are living in today. We need someone who will fight for his people, Israel, and fight against certain moral corruption in our country. And it is my stance that that man is and has been Donald Trump. Is he perfect? Far from it. As are we all. Do I think he is on the narrow path? No, I honestly do not. But my job is not to judge him, it is to pray for the soul of the man. And I'm grateful for the many things that he has done to honor and lead the United States of America. Trump is for the people, not against the people. And if the hatred could just be mitigated just a little bit here, I honestly think that people might begin to actually see that. I love this country. I really, really do. But it is so devastating to see the division that resides among us. Middle ground is such a beautiful thing. And man, if we could just get there, like all of us, you know, just get there. There's no telling what good that we are capable of. I mean, honestly, the biggest thing that is stopping America from being as great as it could be are the citizens. And that is a very sad thought to say the least. Whatever you think of Trump, I personally believe that God is using him right now for his purposes to be the leader that we need right now. Now, of course, to those that don't believe that God can use anyone that he wills to fulfill his purposes, this will be foolishness to you. But to those of us who are in Christ, many of us can see that God is using this man. And God uses very imperfect people to achieve his purposes, not because we are worthy, but because, like I said, God knows the hearts of men that will respond to him, knows who will respond to his call, even if they do and say foolish things at times. But guess what? God loves Donald Trump just as much as he loves all of us, and he can use him to do amazing things, even if he is not walking the narrow path. The Bible is filled with unlikely vessels that God used during history to bring about his will. And it is my full belief that he is using our president in the same capacity. So go ahead, attack a man that God is using for his plan, attack a man that God has used to protect our country, attack a man that has a heart for Israel, but heed the words of Christ while you're at it. That let he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone, because I personally think it's very dangerous to complain against someone that the Almighty himself is or might be using. Very, very dangerous indeed. The American people, we voted for Donald Trump to be our president. And it makes me proud to say that for the very first time that I voted was for someone I thought would help mend the destructive path that our country was headed into. That's right, folks. I finally voted, and that was one of the best days of my life where my feelings of patriotism knew absolutely no limits. I was happy. I was very happy indeed, as were the majority of the United States population who also voted for this very far from perfect man. It makes me laugh that the far left cares so much about democracy and says Donald Trump is a threat to that democracy when most of the left obviously doesn't know what democracy really is when constantly trying to brew up ways to remove him from office by whatever fashion they see fit. We the people voted. We the people in the majority did not want an incompetent person to run our country. We wanted change. We were tired of a president that slept or went on vacation instead of caring about the well-being of the American people. We were tired of a vice president who completely bombed as the borders are, and to be honest, didn't even have any good policies to bring to the table. So how is it democracy to try dismantling the choice of the people? How is that democracy at all? It's just crazy to me. Just straight up hypocrisy on their part. We did not want Joe. We did not want Kamala. We wanted a patriot. We wanted someone who cared about making the lives of Americans better, and for someone who hoped that the American dream could be experienced by all in our country. We wanted someone who actually noticed us and what struggles we the people were facing. Remember Lakin Riley? Or wait, according to Joe, that would be Lincoln Riley, right? Like seriously, they care so little about people like Lakin, and they care so little about anyone else, even those that support them. If it was your life or them staying in power, then it would be your funeral and they wouldn't even know your name. And I'm not saying all of them. There are some very reasonable people on the Democratic side. People like John Fetterman, for example, and I appreciate people like him. But then you got people like Nancy Pelosi, who says that Donald Trump is the most vile creature on the planet Earth. Like, really, really, Nancy? Like, come on, man, that is a ridiculous thing to say. And to my audience, remember that statement because I am going to reflect on it here more in just a little bit to prove just how ridiculous that statement actually is. And to those who speak out against MAGA, what is wrong with making America great again, people? It's not some cult like it is so often painted to be. And I get really sick and tired of people calling supporters of the Republican Party MAGA heads, as if they were part of some evil movement. Because newsflash, to those that entertain this hateful and completely insane rhetoric, I'm not someone who gets brainwashed, and I know so many more that support the right don't either. We voted for someone to change this country. We wanted something better. We wanted family values to come back stronger than ever. And again, anyone is free to disagree with me because this is a beautiful free country, but this is what the majority wanted, and this is what we voted for. I get tired of politicians saying that they were going to do this and that, and nothing ever gets done. This president does what he says he's going to do, as I said before, and he literally works around the clock without hardly any sleep whatsoever. He is constantly working, constantly trying to make lives better for so many people. And just because he has views that don't agree with the left, they constantly tear him down as if he has done nothing but dictate and injure people's lives. Like, please, can you just name one thing that you support him on? I mean, come on, if you can just appreciate one thing, one thing, even that small action may just help break down the walls of division and hate. Now, I don't like Biden and I don't like Obama. Not going to lie about that, nor would I ever to anyone. But at least with Obama, though my feelings for the guy are not great, and that's putting it pretty mildly, he does still hold a very special place on my heart. And I'm just gonna say this, even though the word is not very Christian, but Barack Obama was one badass president on May 2nd, 2011, when he gave the order to have SEAL team six of our mighty military go into a compound and capture or kill the man who unleashed pure evil and shattered America's hearts on September 11, 2001. And we all know who that person is. Yes, Osama bin Laden. America had wanted justice for so long for the horrific acts that took place on that pain-bearing day. And because he had the courage and the guts to make that very hard decision, because they weren't certain that bin Laden was actually in there, he, in conjunction with those brave soldiers, helped deliver justice to so many families, helped deliver justice to a nation that will always be real because of the trauma inflicted upon us that Tuesday morning so long ago. So thank you. Thank you, President Obama, thank you for being a true leader to the American people. And to you, Biden, what can I say? You definitely will go down in history as the 46th president. You see, being able to recognize the good in someone or a good thing that they have done can really go a long way in your overall view of another person. And just like it's always a positive to find the good, it is also wise to be skeptical or observant of things that are not so good. For example, do I like the picture that President Trump posted of himself depicted as some kind of spiritual doctor? No, I did not like that. I did not think it came across well at all to the rest of the population earth, but only God knows the motives of a person's heart. If he did have some kind of intent to project himself as Christ, God is great and we are not. He will deal with it. He absolutely will. So, in my opinion, there's really no need to give it much bearing or thought because God has the whole situation under control. Trust me. Now, furthermore, I don't personally like everything that Trump says and does, but just like I said in the beginning of the show today, it's okay to disagree on some things that someone does, but still stand with that person to support them on the things that you do agree with, especially when they are tasked with the most important job in our country. The man needs support, not constant opposition. I mean, I can understand why some people don't like him, but honestly, some people just let him live completely mortgage-free in their heads. Like, man, if I spent my time spinning my wills on what Zaron Mamdami or Kamala Harris or Nancy Pelosi or Robert De Niro or Jimmy Kimmel, if I spent my time worrying about what they were doing, if I spent my time thinking about them, about people I don't even like, I would be completely miserable. Shoot, I won't even be able to get out of bed in the morning unless maybe I had a nightmare about one of them. Then I may just get out of bed because honestly, I'd be too scared to fall back asleep for fear that the dream would continue and I'd have to see them all over again. Like, why do people do this? Why do they fixate on someone they don't even like? Makes no sense to me at all. Give yourself a break. Breathe, breathe. Don't allow this man Donald Trump to make you so miserable. You got plenty of better things to do than that. And I'm truly only saying this because I sincerely do care about everyone out there, even those who have mindsets or beliefs completely opposite of my own. I care, I really, really do. Donald Trump does not put the float in everybody's boat, but neither do any of us. We all got things about us that some people just don't like. And though I wish the world did not have to be this way, it is what it is. But when people start spewing hate and stupid rhetoric about another person, this is where things really cross the line. This is where the madness needs to stop. Now, recently I think everyone knows that Jimmy Kimmel made a joke directed at our lovely first lady, Melania Trump, that she had Glow of an expectant widow. And let me just say that in the same way, we did not know the intent behind the image that Trump posted of himself as a spiritual doctor. We too do not know the intent behind the comments of Mr. Kimmel. And I completely want to acknowledge that. Now, to many, it would seem like a tacky assassination joke, but according to him, it was said because of the age gap between the president and the first lady, which for the record, very classless as well. Regardless of the intent, however, his comment, in my opinion, was disgusting. Because you don't joke about death, you just don't, especially when we live in a world saturated with political violence. Not to mention our president has had more assassination attempts than any other in U.S. history. And let's not forget, Donald Trump is a human being that has a family who loves him dearly. And I don't think anyone would find it funny if Mr. Kimmel made that kind of joke about any one of their family members, or if someone made a joke about his. It's just straight up inappropriate. Now, this man can make all the crappy and non-humorous jokes that he wants. He's not good at it, but it's a free country. He can say what he wants, but some things are just not appropriate for a TV audience, in my opinion. And for the record, his jokes are not funny, and they do seem to really sprout from a hateful heart for our elected president. Again, the man that we the people voted for. And when you have people that are put in a position like Mr. Kimmel, where they have full access to the public to spread words of love or hate or whatever else it is to their audiences, I think that people like this need to be held accountable and to a much higher standard. Honestly, I personally don't think that Mr. Kimmel should be able to keep his job. Or at the very least, this man absolutely, in my opinion, needs to exercise some serious self-control. He doesn't have to like Trump. Nobody has to, and that's fine. But seriously, enough with the tacky jokes and the inability to restrain yourself. I hope he just moves on because all he seems is obsessed and it's not a good look for him. Nor is that look good for anyone else for that matter. But moving on from all that, because I really don't want to spend a whole lot of time talking about Jimmy Kimmel. I really, really don't, because we have way more important things to talk about than him. So what I do want to touch on now is something I talked about in the tribute I did for Charlie, and that is the plague of political division in our country and in the world, especially when it comes to violence. So straight up, political violence and hate need to stop. It simply just needs to stop. Not only is it dangerous and divisive among the people of all nations, but it is a poison to the hearts and to the souls of those that entertain such evil. Now, as I've already said today, I don't like Joe Biden, I don't like Barack Obama, I did not like it when they were our presidents. But never in a million years would I ever want them dead or wish anything bad to come upon them, nor would I wish that for any member of a party that I don't align with. Not only do they have families and supporters, just like every other person in a political position, but they are worthy to breathe the breath of life, the same life that God has breathed into every one of us when we were created by his mighty hands. Who are any of us to wish for that breath to be extinguished? Nor would I ever want such things, because only a sociopath or a psychopath would want such atrocities, and to that, I am neither. Donald Trump has now had three major attempts on his life, and one was way too many. He doesn't deserve this, nobody does, and it simply just needs to stop. I mean, how many times does this man almost get killed before many on the left unite against the violence instead of continuing to dispute hate and rage? Like it's crazy to me. Calling this man a Nazi Hitler, a fascist, a racist, all those vile things, does not bring people together. It does not mitigate violence. It does not usher in unity. It fosters hate and resentment. It turns a heart of neutrality into a heart of division when pumped with the vile blood of rhetoric and false ideology. And let me tell you, if the roles were reversed and this was happening to a Democratic president, I would swiftly call for the same because it's sinful, it's detestable, it's wicked, and it's completely immoral. But I honestly don't see a whole lot of that going on in the Republican Party that I support, to be completely honest here. No one is out there writing when things don't go their way. No one is out there holding up signs, calling people the kind of names that ignite all the wrong dangerous motives and the wrong types of hearts. In fact, when Charlie was killed, people were very angry, people were enraged, people were beyond emotionally broken. But no one went out there and about to start rioting. Nobody started looting businesses or destroying properties or attacking the other side. Because repaying an evil deed with more evil, man, that does not make a wrong right. And again, we the people voted for Donald Trump. This is the man that we wanted for the job. This is the man that was elected as the 47th president of the United States of America. And this is the person whom God has allowed to be in this position of authority. Daniel 2.21 says, and he, meaning God, removes kings and raises up kings. Now, this is not to say that Donald Trump is a king, so please do not take my words out of context here, or things will most likely get really out of hand. But this scripture does establish that God is in full control over earthly leadership. Another scripture, Romans 13, 1, let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God. And the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Again, all power and authority belong to the Lord. And I think it is very dangerous when we complain against that which God has established and allowed to be. And I understand that Donald Trump does and says things sometimes that are not biblical whatsoever. I can completely, with 100% assurance, testify to that knowledge, but that does not mean that God cannot use this very far from perfect man. Isaiah 55, 8 and 9 say, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. So needless to say, we don't know everything. We don't have it all figured out. We are not God. But one thing I can promise you is that the Lord can use anyone to achieve his purposes, absolutely anyone. And how do I know that? Well, the Bible testifies to it for one, and secondly, I know that because he uses me. And I, just like our president, fall incredibly short every single day of my life. I am not worthy to be called his daughter, not even the slightest. But he still wants me, he still uses me, and he calls me his own. I thank God that in his perfection, he uses the imperfect to accomplish his perfect plan. Oh, what a mighty God we serve. Now, what I'd like to do with the rest of our time together today is briefly talk about some of the really great things that Donald Trump has accomplished during his second term, things that I personally admire and appreciate. And these things are not just how, you know, he has bettered the lives of the American people and even those across the world, but also how some of those things line up with biblical principles. So, first, I want to highlight again the fact that Donald Trump has had three assassination attempts on his life, was even shot in the ear, as we all know, during his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 14th, 2024. But regardless of that, after being shot, Trump did not hide, he did not back down, he did not show fear. Instead, he urged his supporters to fight, and even with more threats of violence and additional attempts on his life that would follow, remained and has remained steadfast in leading the United States of America. And I truly admire that because it shows his love for this country and his resilience and resolve towards opposition, which is exactly the kind of leader that we need right now during this time in our world's history. We need someone who is going to fight for America, and this is exactly what the man does. He hardly even sleeps, works tirelessly around the clock, fighting for the American people, supports our great law enforcement, is a patriot and a warrior for freedom and justice. And these are just a few of the things that I am deeply grateful for regarding his character. January 20th, 2025, his first day back in office, mind you, President Trump signed an executive order titled Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biblical Truth to the federal government. Now, this order was signed to mandate that federal law recognize that there are only two genders, that being male and female, as is the case from the very beginning of creation. Genesis 120 says, So God created man in his own image. In the image of God, he created him. Male and female, he created them. Therefore, in signing this executive order, the president helped to bring biblical concepts and common sense back to our government and society. Shut down the southern border within hours of being back in office and has fought tirelessly to secure America's safety against foreign threats and the overflow of fentanyl in our country, saving many lives in the process, not to mention upholding the sacred rule of law in our country by deporting those here illegally. First Peter 2, 13 and 14 say, submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human authority, whether to the emperor as a supreme authority, or to governors who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. Next, very shortly into his turn, because the president does not waste time, he and one day went to visit hurricane struck North Carolina, and then traveled to the state of California to survey the damage from the devastating wildfires which had ravaged the city of Los Angeles, showing fierce leadership skills and a heart to help those afflicted by natural disasters. Isaiah 58.10 says, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. Also, Matthew 25.40 says, and Jesus will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. February 5th, 2025, President Trump signed another executive order called Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports, aiming to obviously ban men from participating in women's sports and protecting locker rooms from gender misrepresentation. Donald Trump is a peacemaker. Matthew chapter 5, verse 9 says, Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Only later to come up with a plan to stop the war in Ukraine. And yes, I admit the conflict still continues, but his efforts to bring peace and save lives do not go unnoticed by me, because funding a war that does not save lives, it takes lives. And I commend him for his efforts, as should everyone, in my opinion. Donald Trump is pro-Israel. Numbers chapter 4, verse 9 says, Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed, and whoever curses Israel will be cursed. Trump worked hard to propose a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinian conflict and recognized Jerusalem as a capital of Israel in the year 2017, moving the U.S. Embassy there during his first term. Also, has fought like a warrior to protect Israel from Iran, working around the clock to rid Iran of nuclear weapons, which in turn will protect our world. Now many do complain about the high gas prices that we are experiencing right now, and I completely understand that by the way, but to say that I'm okay with spending a little bit more on gas to keep ourselves and other nations safe is an absolute understatement. Iran is an unhinged nation. They absolutely should not have a nuclear weapon. I completely stand with the president on his efforts to rid Iran of all threats that they can use against Israel or us or whatever nation it may be. Introduced tax cuts with the big beautiful bill that helped American families this year, including no tax on overtime and no tax on tips. Also, it boosted the standard deduction, reducing tax liability, and led to higher refunds for working class families. I know I can say that for the first time in years, my household finally enjoyed the ease of burden from having to pay taxes a year and actually got a refund, a very generous one to say the least. Started a savings account for any children born during his presidency called Trump Accounts, investing $1,000 in each of our use, which will help them to be more financially secure when reaching adulthood. Created Trump RX, which provides significant coupon savings on certain medicines, which helps provide families relief from high-cost medications, including those that treat diabetes, weight loss, and infertility, to name a few. Gave U.S. service members a warrior dividend, tax-free bonus of $1,776 in honor of our country's 250th anniversary. And why did Trump do that? Because he loves our military and he honors them for their service. Sign an executive order that helps streamline breakthrough medicine to help people with mental illness such as PTSD, addiction treatment, and major depressive disorders. And personally, as someone who has been horrifically afflicted with generalized anxiety disorder for years, I am beyond grateful that he cares for those that suffer, such as I do. Sign an executive order to expand retirement account access for workers called the Promoting Retirement Savings Access for American Workers by establishing Trump IRA.gov. This helps to gain access for workers who lack employer plans to private sector IRAs so that they too can pay into and plan for retirement stability. Murder rates are lower than they have been in over a hundred years, and has fought ferociously to protect Nigerian Christians from persecution and mass slaughter. Advocates strongly for the Save America Act, which fights to protect America from nefarious voting. It aims to ensure that only American citizens can vote in our elections, providing for fair and uncompromised results. And if nothing else, can you at least appreciate his mad dance skills? I kid, of course, he is not the best dancer. I will absolutely admit that, but it does bring me joy and I know that I'm not alone there. Donald Trump makes politics really, really fun. So after all that that I just went over with you, does that sound like the most vile creature on planet Earth to you? I mean, that is what Nancy said, right? And honestly, I'm really not trying to come down too hard on her here. I'm truly not, especially because she did say it like six months ago. But comments such as the one she made are not healthy and they are not accurate. In fact, words like that only bring with them violence and hate. They greatly hurt people for no reason at all. And again, those words are just simply not true, what she said. And I just proved that. Like, seriously, most vile creature on earth, like, no, I rebuke that lie in the name of Jesus, and I cast political violence and false rhetoric back to the pits of hell in which they came from. Now, it's okay to dislike a political leader. It absolutely is. But when it's all said and done at the end of the day, I think it really just comes down to acceptance. Acceptance of the things that we personally cannot change. Not everyone who is president or whatever political position it may be is going to be desired in that role. But frequent combat against that person is not helpful either. I mean, let's just go on and face it. Not all leaders are a juicy cut of ribeye steak that everyone will enjoy. Sometimes we just happen to get a meal that was ordered by someone else, something we never would have ordered or chosen for ourselves. But we can still find ways to be grateful for that which we are given. Live free, free from hate, free from division, live free from an oppressed mind, live free from an uphill race that won't have a finish line until the next election. Stop complaining against that which God has allowed to be. I mean, what good is it even doing? Like if it's not accomplishing anything at all, then focus on the things that can be accomplished by bettering yourself, becoming the best version of you that you can possibly be, by letting go and reminding yourself that this man in power will not be there forever. What we see around us every single day is temporary, completely temporary, not just on a political level here, folks, but this life in general. In fact, the book of Romans, chapter 8, verse 18, promises us that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us when we get to heaven. And quite honestly, if we don't hold fast to that, more than we hold fast to our bickering and complaining about something or someone we personally cannot change, what does Christ's sacrifice even mean to us at that point? Again, we don't have to like everyone in politics, and it's okay to speak up for what we believe in and how we feel about a situation at hand. But again, acceptance, acceptance for things that we cannot personally change. I mean, let's face it, we have to accept things all the time that we don't like. But I really feel that if we take that negative energy, flip it towards something positive, towards something that we do have the power to change, then we will come out winners because in the process we overcome evil by not succumbing to the corruptible nature of the flesh and for not allowing the sufferings of this lifetime to be greater than that which Christ died to set us free. Because when we focus on him who reigns forever and not on the temporary complaints of this life, such as politics, we will not only please the one who died for us, but we will also overcome the evil one who only seeks to divide and conquer us. So, whether you like President Trump or not, let's come together and make this a very special 250th birthday for America. Let's work in unison to accomplish the impossible and build a bridge of unity between both sides so that we can truly be a force for good. Let's stand together as a country that was truly destined for greatness, a force of nature built to withstand the impossible. Let's be one country truly united as one under Almighty God. Thank you so much for tuning in to this episode of Redeeming Evil. And until next time, stay safe, stay cool, and of course, stay blessed. This is Jay signing off.
