This book will help you to pray over you and your spouse, and it will help you to grow in the name of Jesus Christ. It's time to learn how to truly surrender to the will of God, especially when you don't have a clue of what's coming ahead.

Welcome to Praying for Them, Your God Fearing Spouse podcast. I wrote this book several years ago for God placed this in my heart, and I believe it will touch hearts of all nations, whether you male or female. What God is trying to get us to see through this book is we don't have to settle for less. We don't have to listen to what the world says and what the world thinks our relationship or our marriage should be. And just not saying we need to check it off our bucket list, but this book is prayer-driven, and God wants us to not just conform to the world, but to wait for his very best. This book will reveal just how I fall through personalized prayer and focus in on the voice of God to help me in the waiting season for my God friend spouse. No matter when your spouse comes, you know no matter how long it may take, never stop praying for and over them. And always fast to cover them. This book will help you to pray over you and your God friend spouse, and it will help you to grow in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's time to turn scriptures into prayer for your current or future marriage and for yourself in general. It's time to learn how to truly surrender to the will of God, especially when you don't have a clue of what's coming ahead. So let's sit back with a cup of coffee or some tea and let's read Praying for Them, your God fearing spouse. Today we're going to talk about the introduction to the book. I have spent days, months, years pleading and begging God for a God friend spouse. Someone who would make God the core and foundation of our marriage, who will love me as God has loved me, taking the time to pray with me day and night, fasting for me and with me, holding me accountable to God, and someone who is a man after God's own heart. God had to show me what being a God friend spouse was all about. I couldn't pray for a God friend spouse and then not equip myself to receive what I had been asking God for for years. God had to show me what it is truly meant to be to love him, my husband, and God in the right order. And God wants us to love our future spouses with our whole heart, mind, soul, and spirit. And not just loving them, but loving ourselves as well. I had to show God that I trusted him more in my waiting season and that I loved him more than anything in this world. And I can tell you right now that in this very moment of still waiting for my husband, I have found such a peace. I'm so comfortable. I am so content in my life right now with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And I am so excited for whatever God puts behind that door for me to open it when that due season comes. So I know for me, I have grown into the season of I'm not crying when cuffing season comes and it's cold outside. I'm not rocking in a corner. I'm truly like, I'm good. I'm good until God brings him. So this is where we have to get in our place in life where we can just truly sit and be content and wait on God's best. I want you to know that showing God that we want to enter a relationship with Him is the first thing we need to understand of how to truly love as God has loved us so we can give our spouse that same love. God place this book in my spirit, as I said before, to help myself as well as others who are seeking a God-fearing spouse. This book is for anyone who is waiting on God to send them a God-centered, faithful, devoted, loving, and caring God-fearing spouse. If you are already married, I pray that this book will cover your marriage and bring you both closer to God and closer in spirit. Trusting and depending on God has helped me to learn the difference between a worldly marriage and a godly marriage. After learning my worldly marriage, I'm sorry, after leaving my worldly marriage, I learned how to find the real me up under all this flesh, learning my self-worth, increasing my confidence, and the biggest thing of all, I learned how to love God, myself, and others a little bit deeper. After writing this book, I entered into a more intimate and deeper covenant with my Heavenly Father Jesus Christ. His Spirit resonates more within me, and His word is ever so clear to me. During the waiting seasons, I have found myself becoming a faithful prayer warrior for my future spouse, our ministries, myself, our children, and our blended family. I learned how to pray for, over, and in our marriage for the better while keeping God at the head of the table was a fascinating lesson for me. God taught me how to fast at the trouble of a dive, to pray when called on, no matter what time of day it was or where I was. God taught me patience, waiting, and being obedient is what I need to learn, and that is the key to elevation and blessings within your marriage and within yourself. When it comes to looking for a spouse, we all need someone who is going to balance us out. Someone that will let God lead and be the head of the marriage. God is the one who makes us whole, but our spouses are the missing piece of the puzzle that will complete us. Where in the Bible it says three quarters three is not easily broken. And I believe that it goes with relationships, especially with your marriage. You should always be entwined. You, your spouse, and God, all in the one. God makes us whole, God makes us complete, but our spouse comes in as a missing piece. And we always want to give God the glory and all that we do within our marriage. God said it was not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a suitable helper. That was in Genesis 2, 18. A helpmate is someone who will build you up, roll their sleeves up, and go to war with you in prayer. Someone who will add value and not depreciate your life. Someone who is not a hindrance, but they are a blessing. Someone with a calming inner spirit who will cover you in prayer daily and lead you according to the will of God over your life. They're going to push you toward Christ and not away from Christ. And that's what we need to understand more when we're seeking our spouse, someone that wants to grow with us in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our spiritual walk with God. Amen. A helpmate, a God-fearing helpmate will help you in all that you do. They will trust in you, believe in you, and they will pray and fast over you according to the will of God over your life. They will support the ministries God has placed you in and over. When God sends your Godfrey and spouse, you will know it because you will view them as that special someone who completes you for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And once again, I'm not saying that you need somebody to make you whole. God is who makes us whole. But when God gives us someone special, it's like they're a piece of the puzzle that's missing. And as soon as you put it there, the whole puzzle is complete. They will be very faithful and supportive to you. Having that special, faithful, loving soul will be a blessing, not just to you, but to God as well as your family. You are made whole in God, but your spouse will make you complete under God. They will know how to satisfy you in every area that needs to be satisfied. Not only specific regions, but all areas within your life. Your spouse will push you toward God and not away from God. They will hold you accountable to God. They will feed your heart, mind, soul, and spirit every day. They will speak the truth to you no matter what goes on and how you react. They will tell you like it is. And not just feed your ego and sugarcoat things to make you happy. If they are not trying to pray for you, fast for you, support your calling, visions, and dreams, then how can they be the one for you? Prayer means everything to me. And prayer is the key to eternal life with God and with your spouse because that is our communication with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is through prayer. We all need that God for a spouse who will guard our hearts, that will guard our life, and someone who will stand not just beside us, but someone who will go to war for us through thick and thin through prayer. And that's all I'm gonna read of the introduction. And so this will conclude our episode for today of just talking about the introduction and why this book was birthed. And I want you to know since God is leading both of you, whether you're married or waiting, and when we make God the king of our home, everything works itself out with obedience. Amen. You can truly have an upright marriage. I'm not saying y'all ain't gonna fight. I ain't gonna say y'all not gonna see out eye 100% of the time. But what I can say is when we make God the center of our relationships, when we consult God in the midst of our decisions, as a couple, God can lead us in the right direction. So that's why it's so important to always pray for your spouse, to always ask God for advice, and to always ask God to lead you according to his will over your life. God works in our lives according to our expectations and our faith. We hinder our own blessings sometimes by thinking so little. God does not want to be boxed in. God wants to bless us beyond measures. Our blessings as big as the ocean. So we have to quit boxing God in and thinking our thinking is too big or our thinking cannot bless us. Because when we truly think right and we truly respond right, God can bless us in that, right? So we have to learn how to say, I don't want to box you in. You've been doing big things since the world began. We know God can do great things, He can do the impossible, right? So God can equip us and prepare us for our God-ferned spouse. So I want you to trust in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Give him all the glory and all the honor within your life and within your marriage, every step of the way. Always walk by faith and not by sight. Keep on trusting and believing, even if you don't have your spouse right now. Keep believing that God has someone special for you. He don't just have anybody, he has somebody special just for you. And even if you're married right now, you have someone special. You have someone that adores you, that loves you, that cares for you, that prays for you, that fasts for you, that wants nothing but the best for you. And this is why we constantly got to keep each other in prayer so we can see God's glory unravel even more in our life, where we can show people that God is the head of our relationships, that God is the head of our decision making, that God is the head of all things, then people can see that our marriage is truly golly, that our relationships are truly golly. This is why we have to have faith the size of a mustard seed. We can move mountains, we can have more visions, have more goals and more dreams that will come into fruitation if we would just have enough faith to know that God can do the impossible in our life. There is nothing impossible for God. Nothing will be impossible for us when we're walking with our Lord and Savior by faith and not by sight. Your Godfrey spouse is just one prayer away.
