Good afternoon and welcome back to Praying for Them, Your God, Ferrari, and Spouse. Today's episode is talking about purification season. Amen. I thank you all for tuning in. I welcome you all back into the presence of the Lord. We invite the Lord into our space right now. Amen. Because today we're not talking about comfort, we're talking about change. Amen. We're talking about purification. And as always, let us pray before we get into the episode. Amen. God, in the name of Jesus, we come before you with open hearts and surrendered spirits. Search us, oh God. Reveal everything in us that is not aligned with you. Give us the strength to face what you show us, oh God, and the curse to let go. Purify our hearts, our thoughts, our desires, and our ways, Heavenly Father. And O God, we ask you to lift up our spouse right now. Wherever they are in the process, oh God, purify them too, oh God. Give them peace of mind, shape them, refine them, draw them closer to you, oh God. We are seeking you in this very moment. Amen. There are seasons in your walk with God that doesn't feel good at all. And this is one of them: purification. This is the season where God starts showing you you, not the version you present, present to people, not the version you've been trying to become, but the real you. If we're being honest right now, that can be very uncomfortable. Because God will begin to reveal things you didn't want to face. Your habits, your patterns, your thoughts, your attitudes, things you've been excusing or ignoring, or making them excuses for, right? I remember a time in my life where everything felt like a cycle. Like I was trying to move forward, but kept ending up in the same place emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It felt like I was taking 10 steps forward and I just kept falling 10 steps back. And I started asking God, why does it feel like this keeps happening? What am I doing wrong? I said that before. What do I keep, why do I keep ending up this way, right? And God began to show me something I wasn't expecting. It wasn't just dealing with my situation. He was dealing with me on the inside. He wanted to change my mindset. He wanted to change my lack of discipline. He wanted to change my procrastination. He wanted to take the fear out of me. He wanted me to know that I didn't need to be in control because he had everything under control. Amen. The parts of me I had gotten comfortable with, God was trying to cleanse in this season, right? He could not use me in the next season until I was purified. And that's what purification does, right? It exposes what you've normalized, but God never approved it. And here's what makes this season hard. God always removes things immediately. Sometimes he reveals them first so you can see it, right? So you can acknowledge it. So you can decide to surrender it. Because you cannot be transformed without being revealed. You cannot be transformed without being revealed. That's a word right there. And in this process, it doesn't always feel spiritual at first, right? Sometimes it feels like frustration, sometimes it feels like affection. Sometimes it feels like you're just comfortable in your own skin. But what you're really feeling is God refining you, right? Shaping you, breaking off what doesn't belong. Because you cannot walk into purpose, carrying everything from your past season. You cannot become who God has called you to be without holding on to who you used to be. Amen. And I had to learn this the hard way. Not to punish me, not to prepare me. I mean, I'm sorry, not to punish me, but to prepare me, right? And the truth is sometimes God will show you you, and he will slow your life down. Just so he can deal with you deeply, so he can correct your direction, so he can purify your heart, so he can align you with him. Amen. Because God is not just interested in your destination, he's interested in your transformation, and purification will expose something else too. Your resistance. Because when God starts pointing things out, your first reaction might be to defend it, to justify it, to minimize it. But God is not trying to shame you, He's trying to free you. And freedom always starts with truth, even uncomfortable truth, amen. So in this season, or if you ain't approached this season, I'm giving you warning in advance. In this season, you have to be willing to say, God, if it's in me and it's not like you, remove it. Even if it hurts, even if it exposes you, even if it changes you, because what God removes is what was limiting you. And sometimes God will remove people, He will change your job, He will move you to a different location, He will put you on a path that you never thought you would be on, because He knows how to purify you and to remove the things from around you and in you that should not be around you. Amen. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, we bow before your throne today, full of grace and mercy, just saying thank you, oh God. We surrender to you during this purification process, oh God. Even when it's uncomfortable, even when it reveals things we didn't want to see. Help us trust you, oh God. Remove every habit, mindset, and desire that is not aligned with your will, oh God. Cleanse our hearts and renew our minds, oh God. I pray. And Honey Father, we lift up our spaces to you right now. Purify them, oh God, as you are purifying us. Shape them, oh God, as you shape us. Refine them, oh God, as you refine us and prepare them for their purpose as you prepare us for our purpose. Honey Father, align us both to your timing and your will. Amen. Thank you all for tuning in. Thank you all for listening. If you like this, if you're enjoying this, shoot me an email. It's in the description box. Um, I would love to hear from you all. Um, I want you to keep on praying, keep on fasting, and keep on believing, keep hope alive that God is still preparing you as he prepares your spouse. Until the next time, you have a blessed day. And tomorrow we will be talking about obedience before the blessings. Amen. Have a blessed day.
