It was the Buffalo Bike Run. Marketed as the largest payout in Oklahoma bike run history. Over $100,000 paid out. Vendors. Music. A full production. Even a circus element.
Max and his partner at CEU, Brad White, built it big.
And then it got bigger.
The response was overwhelming. Riders. Participants. Moving parts everywhere. At some point, it wasn’t about pride. It was about survival.
So Max did something unexpected.
He called his mom.
She didn’t hesitate. She called Deana and said, “Your brother needs help. Go.”
That’s how it works sometimes. You build something massive, and when it starts to tip, family shows up.

So had Max called your mom He called my mom and she called me and said "Your brother needs help with this event You need to go and help your brother." Okay Max so did you need help with this event because the response was overwhelming as to the participants and all the people involved in the bike ride Yeah what made you call your mom Or- What made you call your mom for help Because I just don't see you calling your mom Well listen you know spur of the moment thing called And at the time my mom and dad it was the bike run it was the Buffalo Bike Run We had billed it as the first as the largest payout in bike run uh history for the state of Oklahoma We paid over 100 grand And so this was an event that me and my partner uh at CEU Brad White had uh created We had vendors We had w- w- it was over the top music uh- There was a circus
