And it was Evel Knievel.
Dennis Rodman.
Brian Bosworth.
For anyone outside Oklahoma, that lineup sounds unreal. Rodman made sense in the biker world. Bosworth showing up before being fully embraced again by the Sooner crowd? That raised eyebrows. But he was still part of that culture.
Even Lorenzo Lamas made an appearance.
This was happening in Miami, Oklahoma — and if you’re local, you know it’s pronounced “Miama.” Say it wrong and you’ll get corrected immediately.

back to- You guys booked Cross Canadian Ragweed to play this thing Fog Hats It was cra- I mean we even had Evel Knievel there We had Dennis Rodman We had Brian Bosworth So for people who don't know- We had for the people who don't know- Whose idea was it to bring Dennis Rodman Okay I get Rodman 'cause he's kind of bike culture but Bosworth like out of nowhere That was- He hadn't even been accepted- Stone Cold He hadn't even been accepted back into the Sooner family yet No he wasn't- He was still a biker you know And then uh who else Lorenzo Lamas 'cause my mom was flipping out He's like a Jay Leno biker Let's be honest here Yeah but anyway s- back to this And so me and Brad you know we're good at setting things up and you know go here go there But we had no idea of of paperwork invoicing You know this is all new to me And so my sister travels down Up Or no Travels east and gets there and sh- Well tell first of all tell people where Miama Oklahoma is because- Mi- Miama Oklahoma is about you have to say Miama 'cause if you say Miami- Yeah they all the locals will correct you Immediately Mi- and Miama is a beautiful place
