Follow us on all our social media platforms on Yo Charlie Official. Ronaldo Ronaldo Ronaldo. The GOATs Ronaldo is out of the World Cup and it's looking like he might never win their World Cup. I know there's this debate about Ronaldo Mercy and you know the amount of trophies or the awards each player has won, but it's looking like the arguments Ronaldo, the argument Mercy fans might have now over Ronaldo is the fact that Mercy has won the World Cup and Ronaldo hasn't. So sadly, yesterday Portugal got knocked out of the World Cup by Spain in a very painful way. Last minute, so last minute, you know. The game was actually very boring. It was a Yon first. I was expecting it to be, you know, more goals, but it wasn't that. It was literally down to last minute brilliance from Spain, where you know Portugal's defense just slept for a second, and Marino got the winner against Portugal, which means Ronaldo is out. What does this mean? It means we might not probably see him in the World Cup anymore. You know, there are so many names that we might not see in the World Cup anymore. We know Neymar is definitely not going to play in another World Cup. We know Modric is probably not going to play in another World Cup. And sadly, Ronaldo joins the players that we might not see in the 2030 World Cup. Is it 2030? Okay. In the 2030 World Cup. After the game, he was emotional in tears. I know fan reactions. Everybody, you know, everybody that supports Ronaldo backs them. Everybody was just so sad to see it end this way. I think we kind of expected them to go further than this because you know the Portugal team kind of has so much depth, and it just this whole tournament just didn't feel like it was it's for them. They they didn't play with the kind of they didn't play the way we saw them play leading to the World Cup, you know, in the qualifiers, how they used to dominate games, and even like the friendlies leading to the World Cup. It just didn't feel like that's energy. We didn't get that from Portugal in this game or this whole tournament. And I think it was coming, it was just which team was going to kick them out. And I feel like them going out due to Spain winning is probably the best way because you know the quality of Spain. If it was like a low-ranked team taking them out, that would have probably been more. But I mean, it's it's sad to see Ronaldo cry. I mean, those who love him really want the best for him, but I just feel like it wasn't meant to be, and you know, he his record in the world cup hasn't really been great. I mean, he doesn't even have the if you talk about the world cup, I think you really think about Messi because Messi has just done so much with Argentina and the World Cup, even the goals he scored, the records he's even still breaking. And then we have Ronaldo, who probably I think has just 11 goals in total in like the World Cup. There's six World Cups he has played in. It's just unfortunate that he has played six different World Cups, but still hasn't been able to win it. And it will shock me. It won't even it won't even shock me, it won't surprise me because the next World Cup is going to be Portugal going to be co-hosting with Spain and Morocco. I wouldn't be surprised if Portugal going win it when he has retired from international football. Just watch, just watch football gods make Portugal win it so just when he decides I'm to like I'm taking a break, I'm not going to do international football anymore. Like, just watch them, just watch them, anyways. What are your thoughts on Ronaldo and the whole him not going far in the World Cup? You know, let me know in the comments. But moving on from Ronaldo, there was also another game yesterday. USA, Belgium. You know, leading to this game, there was so much controversy because of you know Florian's um red card be standing. His red card was still apparently he still had the red card, it still stood, but then he was being allowed to play the game, he wasn't going to go on suspension with you know Donald Trump calling in and asking for favors for the player. So there was so much anticipation for this Belgium USA game with because of the buildup to the game, just for them to drink four goals. Do you know how embarrassing that is? Like, you literally try to get a player to come into a game he wasn't supposed to play, just for him to not even contribute much in the game. He didn't even affect the game like anyway. You know, you expect him to like I was expecting him to really show up in this game. He didn't even like we didn't even see him on the like he was playing but fiscally, he didn't affect the game. Shots, no shots, no tackles, no like he wasn't even the way probably had like the worst game of his career against Belgium, and I am so glad Belgium whipped them with four goals because it was necessary, like they needed to humble them a little bit because you know, throughout this whole tournament, they've actually had such good performances. The USA, you know, from the group stages to the round of 32, they've looked very solid, but it's unfortunate they couldn't do much against Belgium. And you would I can't even imagine Belgium have gone to the quarterfinals because I feel like they've sneaked their way, they weren't really in the top teams I would have thought would have made it to the quarterfinals just because of the quality and the way they play, they don't really play that much of an impressive kind of football. And I blame Senegal. If Senegal had logged in for just a few minutes, Belgium wouldn't have been there, and probably USA would have beaten them, so maybe everything happens for a reason, you know. But hey, karma, karma, karma came for USA, and I'm I'm all for karma, man. I'm all for karma. Anyway, back I'm going around, and now we're back to Ghana, the GFE. There's so much going on since the Black Stars were knocked out of the World Cup. Rumors here there. First, we had the Carlos Curos's first, we had the rumor about Carlos Curos with his goodbye message saying goodbye to the Black Stars. It's coming out that he does know what he meant. There's just so much going on, and now something has come out. Rumors are coming out that the GFA takes about 70% of players' um fees if they want to be included in the Black Star squad, and that's crazy to me. Like the rumors can't be true because 70% is crazy. So, does that mean like they are taking 70% from all the players that were picked to go to the World Cup? Because that's that's crazy, you know. That's I don't know. There's just so much going on in the GFA. I think there just needs to be like a whole new we need to let go of the people in right now and get a new solution because nothing is working. I feel like Ghana football has not been developing in like years now. The last time we were actually happy about Ghana football was 2010. And since then, everything has just gone down downhill. Nothing seems to click. The president, I just don't feel like he's the right man for the job. We just need new and bright minds to to just take Ghana football far, you know. And I know they are so focused on the black stars, but I feel like we need to be focused on the queens as well, because it's not just the black stars. I mean, the queens are even probably doing better than the black stars if you look at their performances. The queens are even going to be in the AFCON, but I feel like there's no noise about it because the AFCO, the women's AFCON is starting this month as well, but then they're not even pushing that, like the there's just no equality. Well, there's just so much, so much with the GFA. I just feel like it needs a fresh new look. People need to go out, and new people need to come in. Proper people need to come in, and that's the only way things are going to work. But let me know your thoughts, what you think about everything that has been said today, what you felt about Cristiano's last run in the World Cup, the USA being humbled, and the whole issue with the GFA and taking 70% of player fees if they want to be in the Black Star squad. Ridiculous. But let me know your thoughts in the comments. Um Kelvia, if you're interested in any of your ads being on UHLA, you'd find our contacts down below. Catch you in the next one.
