All right, put on a pair of comfortable shoes, hop on the Skyliner, and enter through the world showcase. Because today we're eating around EBCOD. Here we go.
SPEAKER_02Come on, everybody. Here we go.
SPEAKER_00All right, welcome back to Here We Go, the Walt Disney World Podcast where we talk all things rides, resorts, foods, and today, how not to completely blow your budget in one day at EBCOT. All right, so my wife Kim, who joins me here today, say hi.
SPEAKER_01Hey guys.
SPEAKER_00So we're back. We're only a couple days back to reality from our amazing weeklong trip. Yeah, so we ended up doing Epcot a couple of times with the parkoppers, which I thought was Yeah, it was fun.
SPEAKER_01It was just like, you know, we popped over to Hollywood and then we took the Skyliner over to Epcot. So it was kind of nice, I guess, because switching it up throughout the day.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and we never, because we stayed at Pomp Century, we never entered through the front of Epcot.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00We were always coming through the World Showcase. So it was cool. And there was one day where we came in and we were just like, peace world showcase. We don't even need to see you. We went right around um on like the UK, uh, like the UK-Canada side, right?
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00And then we entered because we had an 850 Guardians of the Galaxy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I mean that was great. We got to ride Guardians twice. Um, the bummer of that is that we got the same song two times in a row.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Not in a row, but the both times that we did it. We got stuck one time on it. So we actually technically did it three times.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we did it three times because we did it two two times the one day, and then yeah, when we came back the second time, we did it again.
SPEAKER_00And what did we get? The s the song was always the same. No, we got September. Oh, we got yes, yes, you're right. We got September, and then we got I ran twice. Um, have yeah, I've ridden this thing so many times, have yet to ever get everybody wants to rule the world.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, everybody wants it, but nobody gets it.
SPEAKER_00That's how it goes. Yeah, it's funny, and I've even written it during the holiday season where it's run run Rudolph, which is great. I wish they would do some kind of um song for Halloween. I think they should do like thriller, yeah. Would be cool.
SPEAKER_01That's a good idea. You should pitch that.
SPEAKER_00I'm pitching this directly to this. It's just me and yo, Figgy, listen up. Um, we are gonna go on a limb here, thriller at Halloween.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we gotta change up the song selection.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's gonna be nothing but the Monster Mash 24-7. They could do something like that, it'd be cool. Um, all right, but let's talk about food at Epcot. I think that's like one of the biggest reasons we all go to Epcot is to eat and drink around the world. And surprisingly enough, that's what we did on the days that we went. And man, it was like weird how you could just keep on fitting more stuff in. I was yeah, because they were just I mean, I'm a 250-pound guy, like I'm a big guy, but still I'd be like, Yeah, all right, let's drink this crap.
SPEAKER_01We're doing it for the podcast. I mean, you guys, you gotta you know, give us props because we're we ate all the things we can give you all the reviews, but I just realized we didn't eat the ribs.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, we never had the ribs. We've tried to go and get those ribs at at Trowel and uh Trellis so many times.
SPEAKER_01It was like closed, close, maybe we went there early.
SPEAKER_00That's one thing that I would need for anybody going there because there's still over a month left. This thing ends, flower and garden ends June 1st. So if you're going, know that those food booths in like the ones in the world showcase, they're not gonna open until 11:30. Yeah, a lot of them didn't open till 11 30.
SPEAKER_01So we we were ready for ribs at you know 9 a.m.
SPEAKER_00We did try to get ribs at like 10. I was so close to buying a new Roosevelt shirt. Yeah, buy Roosevelt shirt. It's like I'm gonna get this, the ribs, I'm gonna live forever, and the ribs were closed. I was like, oh bummer, I gotta eat eggs like a like a heathen. I will say this about Epcot. Um, like there isn't a ton of breakfast options at Epcot. If you think you're going into Epcot and banging out eggs, it ain't happening.
SPEAKER_01They should they should definitely have like a like a didn't they have like a brunch?
SPEAKER_00They had brunch cot. Yeah, but it didn't have it had shrimp and grits and it had uh a cinnamon toast crunch toast and like a breakfast cereal shake. But if you're looking for breakfast, I mean, oh my gosh, go over to Animal Kingdom. That's the breakfast park. Like they have Hollywood Studios in Hollywood Studios, but both of those parks great breakfast. Epcot, you know, you better you better come wanting a bratwurst. Not even like I don't even you'd have to go to like the uh you know, like way over by the land and eating over there or something. It's just like the foods are not going off. Connections is open, there's a couple of spots open, but nothing is stellar breakfast food there.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so when we the first day we went there, we went in the afternoon after we did Hollywood in the morning. Yeah, and the first thing that we tried when we came in was the I had the Cave J.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah. So you got the Cave J you loved it.
SPEAKER_01Like that, yeah. It was a great gluten-free option.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you you loved it.
SPEAKER_01And the plantain chips.
SPEAKER_00Uh, what I'm gonna say about that ceveche stand, what is that stand? It's called uh La Isla Fresca, right? Yes, it it it to me that drink was phenomenal. Oh, yeah. The citrus slushy, like we were drinking that grapefruit, it had uh simply lemonade, grapefruit, a little simple syrup. It was the funny thing, it's simple. We can say simple simply lemonade, simple syrup, simple drink, but it just hit the notes perfectly. I could have had a huge one of those, I think it's like$4.99, but I could have had you know, could be a gallon to bring around. It's really good, super refreshing on a hot day, and that was you know a very nice day out there. So um, and then we wrapped around and we had to get fruchie. Yes, fruusie was a must, and you know, I had watched a lot of videos that talked about how it wasn't as good this year. I thought it was phenomenal.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, I thought it was really good. I definitely would have liked maybe some more fruit in it because it was like a lot of rice, I guess.
SPEAKER_00But but like the coconut milk on top was so good. The flavor overall was really good. The fruit seemed fresh, which I think that was like a something that helped. It didn't seem like you know, like old fruit in it or anything. Yeah, it was good, you know, it's like getting old fish and sushi. You know, they had very fresh fruit in it. I thought it was a good deal. Uh, you know, we we talked about getting it again, it was that good. So I I I give that, you know, a solid eight out of ten. I thought it was great. Um, the the Caveche, it was okay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, I really liked it. I'd probably give it a eight out of ten.
SPEAKER_00Really? Okay. Well, we'll go to war on that. I don't I don't agree with that. I give it a six out of ten.
SPEAKER_01Well, there's only but also I guess my expectations are sometimes lower because I can only you know have gluten-free foods. So I'm looking at his and he's eating, you know, a sandwich.
SPEAKER_00That um the onion tart thing.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, the like that, yeah. The school bread.
SPEAKER_00That was like we had I had the lemon school bread. We'll get to it. But the lemon school bread and the regular one. He was probably pronounced schul bread, you know, but school bread. Um, but it was so uh good. The fruitshi was good and the school bread's amazing, but we'll get to that. Uh what did we eat after that? I I thought this was cool. We went over to like the um, it was like the magnolia booth over in uh the America pavilion, yeah, and they had po-boys going on, but I gotta look at the the the shrimp po-boy, and it looked like it had way too much bread. And so I pulled, I was like, I pulled back. I was like, no way. I don't like people were like kind of going through it looked like two shrimp and a lot of bread, but the grilled oysters looked amazing. They had this like um chorizo or andouy sausage butter in it, right?
SPEAKER_01They're really good. We just got them without the breadcrumbs so that I could try them.
SPEAKER_00And oh, they're they were warm and charred and delicious, and the butter on top. Like that, this was one of the better bites, I thought. Yeah, and it was like risky. I'm gonna eat you know, food booth oysters at like you know, two o'clock in the afternoon. Risky, yeah.
SPEAKER_01No, they're really good. And they came on like a platter with like a little mini Tabasco, a lemon, yeah, and like you know, some green onions on top. Yeah, they're great.
SPEAKER_00It was really good. I I I thoroughly enjoyed that, you know, like the putting the lemon on top. It was it like it just I don't know, they were rich and it was a very well balanced, I think. I'd give that that that for me was a nine out of ten. It was one of the the most memorable things that we ate. Uh then I went rogue and went back into Summerfest and got that pretzel bread pudding back in Summerfest in Germany. And this thing was a showstopper. Yeah, the like the vanilla creme on glaze, like it had like this like vanilla sauce all over it, and then caramel drizzled all over it, and you get kind of like crusty bites and then salt because it's soft pretzel bread pudding, is what they mean.
SPEAKER_01Stop talking about it.
SPEAKER_00And it was at the time, uh, it was the thing in my mind, because this is this is day one. We ate this. This is day one in parks. We had this, so I'm like, this there's gonna be there's no way something's gonna beat this. And I will say there was one thing that dominated, it wasn't in this park. We went over to Magic Kingdom, and that Mickey-shaped cinnamon roll at Westward Hoe with the caramel, the pecan, and the bacon was the best new dessert I've had at Disney World in five years. It was amazing.
SPEAKER_01It looked and smelled amazing.
SPEAKER_00I it was so good I had to eat one at the beginning of the trip and the end of the trip. It was too good. I wish I could order it every day. I wish I could come downstairs and grab a dole whip in that and sit down and stave off the diabetes. But unfortunately, I don't live in the house.
SPEAKER_01You cannot eat that more than twice a year and not get it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, your your your heart your heart will explode. So yeah. Uh, but this pretzel bread pudding, it was great. At the time that I had it, it was a 10 out of 10. Now, after eating something better, it's probably nine out of 10, but it was so good. I would go back and get it again uh as walking by Germany if you're stopping in Germany and it's cheap, it's like 550.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and it's like a manageable portion, like yeah, it's like a third of the size of the the Mickey Cinnamon roll, but that Mickey Cinnamon roll that was it can do no wrong.
SPEAKER_00Like I just I need to get that alone in a room and just talk to it for a little while. Yeah, uh, we uh no no trip to Epcot would be complete without two things for me a pin trading around the world and all the ones that are all in comma uh comic core plaza there. And uh we had a great luck pin trading on this trip, and we'll yeah, you know, dedicate like maybe a whole half an episode to pin trading soon. Uh, I was able to get the whole complete 2026 Wave A uh set for the Walt Disney World Hid Mickey pin set uh for all the collect. It was uh it was great. But going to CommuCore Plaza, you go for one reason, and that is to go to Club Cool. They've had this around since I was a little kid, and we love it. Uh, we did that's great.
SPEAKER_01I didn't even like the first time you took me there, I'm like, wait, this is free, like I can just fill up as many times as I want.
SPEAKER_00As long as you're willing to fill up a three-ounce cup of soda and getting sticky hands, soda shots, you're allowed to go into club cool and do soda shots. Uh, it was wild. The guy next to me went straight for the Beverly. Everybody was getting everything else. Deadpan, he looked like Ned Flanders from The Simpsons. He just walked right over and just started pounding Beverlies. And I'm just go. I looked at him, I go, I sell beer. I guarantee you only like to drink like triple IPAs. And he goes, Yes, how did you know? I go, Beverly is nothing but bitter, yes, sir. You love to drink bitter. And he was just slamming them. I personally, out of all of them, they have one that kind of tastes like soy sauce from uh that one's from uh what is that not uh China is the one that tastes like soy sauce. And I I like the country club from the Dominican Republic, but my favorite of all is Viva, it's a raspberry soda. Uh Viva is from Italy. Oh, Moldova, okay. It's from all Moldova and it's sugar-free.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that one is really good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, Beverly's Italy has Beverly, they can keep each other forever.
SPEAKER_01And then if you want more viva, if you go to the Coca-Cola store at Disney Springs, you can get like a whole large size of Viva if you want.
SPEAKER_00Of all these flavors. So you can get if you go to Club Cool's bigger brother, the Coca-Cola store in Disney Springs, you can get all of these flavors. And I did get a large Viva and walk around with it. I was like, Yes, more Viva. It's not free there, but it's not free, but it was like, you know, four bucks for a large Viva. I would gladly pay for it. Uh, they do floats there too, which are cool, and you can they have even more flavors from around the world. I think a flight. Yeah, I think there's 23 or something crazy there, yeah. Uh around the world. So, yeah, like no uh no trip to Ebcot is ever complete without going to Club Cool. And you know, staying in that plaza, doing a little pin trading, and the people are nice, you know. They really helped me complete my set, so love that.
SPEAKER_01Uh, we ended up going over and getting um this was the panicata, yeah, which everybody is saying so good, like one of the best desserts of the festival.
SPEAKER_00The beach club is where it was, or beach grub.
SPEAKER_01And you know, we had high hopes for it. And I hated it. I did not like it. And it has like two like gluten-free cookies on it. Absolutely no taste to them.
SPEAKER_00I absolutely I hated it. I think they just didn't taste, it didn't taste like anything. The only thing that it tasted like was that raspberry fruit was that the fruit gel or whatever?
SPEAKER_02Like, yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00It was not fluid gel. Yeah, whatever the fluid gel was.
SPEAKER_01I wouldn't waste my five dollars on that again.
SPEAKER_00No, I it was it was bad, in my opinion. Uh then we ended up uh we continued. So at that beach grub, we ended up getting the ears of corn. We each got one because everybody was talking about it. I told him to load it up too. I forget it was like name was like Luis. I was like, Luis, come on, go heavy-handed with the with the go heavy-handed with the toppings on this corn, my man.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean anything's gonna taste good if you put all this like boars and cheese on it. And vegan, and it was vegan.
SPEAKER_00He was putting so much stuff on it. I go, oh man. And it was so funny. This lady rolled up, and I think she was a content creator, but she she rolled up and she's like, five corns. I've had five corns today.
unknownLike, oh my god.
SPEAKER_01And then we saw her the next day at Kingdom.
SPEAKER_00No, we saw her that same night in Hollywood studios when we went back. She rolled by us because she was in a scooter and she just goes, Five corns. I loved her. She had like rainbow hair. I think, yeah, she was great. Um, but yeah, the corn, great. I thought it was awesome.
SPEAKER_01It was great. I mean, the corn wasn't like the freshest like year of corn, but where we're from, we get really good corn, so we're spoiled.
SPEAKER_00This corn wasn't the best corn, but they put a ton of crap on it, so it was amazing. Yeah. Uh after that, it's just start was like uphill, man. We yeah, we then go over to Yacht Grub, where they have two of the best things that we had at the festival, hands down. Uh the charcuterie board, which oh my god, they gave you so much stuff. There was three huge pieces of prosciutto, a tomato jam, some fig butter, uh two different cornichons, a couple different kinds of cheese, crackers. It was for six bucks or whatever it is. I think it was like under seven dollars for this huge charcuterie plate. It was great. I could have eaten a couple of those.
SPEAKER_01And then probably my favorite thing of the fest was the the three dips and like the homemade potato chips, the trio of dips, yes, and and they were great too, they were all like vastly different.
SPEAKER_00You had the pimento cheese with the pickles, in the middle, you had the caramelized onion with the caviar on top, and then you had my favorite, which was the whipped feta and the candied lemon on top. So that was really good. I I I can't believe how much I loved this, and it was just very simple. Uh the only thing I would change about this, and I know this is a 10 out of 10 for you. The only thing I would change is the the onion dip. It was like they had just caramelized the onions, it was a little bit warm, it wasn't super cold, it was like almost like a little runny, but it tasted so good. Yeah, so good. Yeah, your your favorite, right? I mean, was that was your favorite in the whole thing? And then we needed some sweet treats. We had to go get sweet treats. Uh so we went over and we've tried some dole whips. First, we tried a blueberry vanilla swirl, and we hated it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was just too sweet, it had like no no complexity at all.
SPEAKER_00You couldn't taste the blue. It was just like a one flat note of sweet blueberry. The vanilla tasted like nothing, the blueberry tasted like nothing, and there were people just loving life doing somersaults and like like singing songs about the peach doll whip. They were it like next to us, they're like, I can't believe we get this, and we're live forever.
SPEAKER_01They're going crazy over peach doll whip. So they convinced us to go up to the stand and just be like, We didn't love the blueberry. Could we try the peach? And they just gave us a peach one for free. So that was great.
SPEAKER_00They were like, just go be a Karen. I was like, I can't do it, I don't want to do this. And they talked us into it, then they gave us um a peach one and the peach dole whip. I mean, whoa, that that was so good. That was one of the best uh dole whips I've ever had. Um, and then there was the uh across the street from that, or no, was it the same booth? Same booth, yeah. They had the uh the Mars Capone honey blueberry cheesecake, and that's the it's got like the um liquid nitrogen, so they freeze it in front of you. Uh, what was her name? Becky. I was like, oh man, look at Becky's working right now. She had like seven, she had like seven going at once. I'm like, man, Becky's killing it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was great. I mean, I think I liked it a little bit better once it kind of like thawed out because it didn't have as much flavor when it was like you know, frozen.
SPEAKER_00It's like sticking your tongue to a uh frozen flat pole.
SPEAKER_01It's like so it was really good.
SPEAKER_00Once it like warmed up a little bit though and started to get like gooeier, oh my god, that thing's so good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and gluten-free. So I was happy.
SPEAKER_00You can't be you can't be mad at that. Then we end up uh coming back for another trip, and now we go over to Florida fresh because I'm dying to try the conch fritters and the black and fish or black and fish slider, which everybody was talking about. I get there and people love these conch fritters with the key uh key limeoli. Horrible. One bite I had to spit it out. Like I'm never like that, didn't swallow it, like had to get rid of it. It was basically like having sour mayonnaise with like these fritters that were cold. They looked like they've been fried the day before. It was they were left over. They were it was really it was a sad showing for this booth. Then the brioche on my slider, when you touched it, it cracked like it was you know, paper mache. It was so stale, the fish was stale, the lettuce was bad, the tomato was bad. It was all in all this booth, huge disappointment. Like, do not waste your money there. It if it if it is this it way all the time, I'm sure it's not this bad. I think we just probably got them caught them off guard. I I don't know, but even like the idea of a key lime aioli, it should be bright and fresh. It was just kind of like mayonnaise with citric acid in it, and it was just gross, sour mayonnaise, it was not good. Uh so yeah, sorry I had to crush everybody's dreams on that one. But that is the the one thing that I it's they're the my least favorite things that I ate for the entire week, yeah. And I mean I ate in the pop century food court a couple times, you know what I mean. Um then we got to go over to Shiki Sai, and you know, we'll get into more of the sit-down meals, but everything at Sheiki Sai loved it, it was super fresh. We got that grilled seafood rolled. I think that was so good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was great.
SPEAKER_00Uh, because it was our honeymoon, they gave us this ice cream that was some of the best ice cream that I've had. So if you get an opportunity to have some matcha ice cream or vanilla, even from there, the ice cream was super creamy, delicious. It's great.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was a great meal. And then after that, Mitch needed some more dessert.
SPEAKER_00So uh I did need dessert. I was I was like, should I eat this pretzel bread some more? I did not do that, but we ended up uh going over and getting the school the I got the lemon boule first and the school bread over in Norway. And the lemon one, listen, if you like lemon, it's good, but it's not filled the way that the original coconut school bread is filled. I mean, uh you we'll put pictures up on socials, but man, it was a disappointment. I I like the flavor, but you watch those things get ripped open, I'm like, man, there's nothing there was nothing in the lemon.
SPEAKER_01It just looked kind of like a stale like bun with like a little bit of Lemon in the middle and the meringue on top. I mean, but then when you like broke into the coconut school bread, I was like drooling.
SPEAKER_00It was it the it was night and day, like the coconut school bread, it was just like squishy on the outside, and they just chock they fill this thing chock full of that custard, yeah, and then like a ton of coconut on top. It was good. That would that was in like a top five dessert at at Disney period. What was nice there is they had that stand going, so they ended up having um uh a drink there as well. You can get an alcoholic or non-alcoholic version. We got the non-alcoholic version of a cranberry vanilla slushy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was good. That was surprisingly good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it was tart and creamy. It was no, I like complexity to these things that they do. You know, interesting foods should hit different notes, yeah. And that's why the things that we didn't like were just like one note kind of blah, they it didn't hit. But this thing, uh keep it up, it was it was really good. I love that. Uh we have to talk towards the end of the night. I just went rogue and and went to France and got that um caramelized onion tart. That thing is really good. That was really good. That was like a nine out of ten for me. I loved it. The other thing we gotta uh talk about is we we really just like messed up a couple of times. We didn't get anything from the Mexico booth is either, but we did end up going into Cavidal Tequila because I needed an avocado margarita.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Amazing, and you got a non-alcoholic drink that was really, really good. Blackberry or like a prickly pear or something. I don't know what it was.
SPEAKER_01I think it had guava in it. It was good, prickly pear. Yeah, it was great. I loved it.
SPEAKER_00It was great, but we had we got the trio of and I was like, Do we need this?
SPEAKER_01But it was great.
SPEAKER_00If we didn't need this, she looked at me, she goes, Do we need this? I go, I want chips and salsa. Oh and the guacamole was so good. Like, oh queso, the queso, the queso, like honestly, the guacamole stole the show there, and it's usually the queso, usually the queso comes in with like, hey, move over, guys. It's me, queso.
SPEAKER_01It was great, and I like to really I like to mix like all three on one chip. That's like yeah, but you contaminate all the other chips. You're the word, but I did have my own salsa, yeah. We up, so yeah, you're still getting salsa.
SPEAKER_00You now you don't go salsa the cheese.
SPEAKER_01Let me do it. All right, stop judging me.
SPEAKER_00Oh man, it's all right. I still I love you. You have to put up with it. I love you when I live with you. Uh that was a lot of fun in there, though. We met these great people, we set out like a communal or stood really. We leaned on this communal table, and it was a couple from New Jersey, and their daughter came. You know, she had they had like a 28-year-old, 30-year-old daughter, or whatever, and the daughter was also had celiacs. Yeah, then you two started talking about gluten-free. I was convincing them all to order avocado margaritas. He was like a retired detective from New York City. Yeah, we were hitting it off and and and joking, and we had a blast. That's the one thing that I'll say too. Is if you go in open-hearted, open-minded, we met so many great people. Yeah, like everywhere we went, we met so many great people in Epcot alone. We met the people that ended up changing us, like and and and being like, nope, go be Karen, go get your peach doll. You deserve it, it's your honeymoon, you deserve it. We're like, Oh, I'll just I'll just suck it up and eat this gross blueberry thing, and they were so nice. And the people at La Cavanal Tequila, so nice. Like, yeah, you can have a skyliner. You're always like chatting with the people across from you, and gives me a chance to do like a 15-minute comedy set. Just try this out. Uh, but that was the thing. I did, I went in open-hearted, open-minded, no armor on, you know, there wasn't a lot of that. It did make me a softer person, I think, throughout the whole week. I was just in a good mood, weren't you? Yeah, like I was never like a downtimer, it's like, oh, I hate it, I hate all these people or whatever. I was always like, ah, there's places to get away from people if you have to do that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I feel like everybody was like trying to like make our day better. Like we had our honeymoon pins on, so even like people who didn't work there were like, Oh, congratulations. And you see people do that. We see the Fgot, the one girl like gave you the pin that you needed and like didn't even accept like a trade for it. She was like, No, no, I'm just gonna give it to you.
SPEAKER_00Oh, she was great, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she was like one of the cast members, but it was like her day off, and she just came to like get some pins.
SPEAKER_00It was so nice because she had just gotten like two or three different chaser pins, and I needed one. And she's like, Oh, I'm only collecting 2026s, and I only had 2025 to trade. Yeah, and she goes, Oh, I'm only doing that. She goes, But here, here you go, have a good honeymoon, and gave me like the the chip uh from Chippendale pin that I needed. I was like, Oh, awesome! Yeah, yeah, she was she was great. Uh, you know, all in all, I think Epcot was a huge success. And what you know, there isn't a trip that could go by without having to go, we gotta need to go to EBCOT. But the the food and drink that we had there, exceptional, as always. I would just stay away from Florida fresh, yeah, because it's not fresh, it's not fresh, and like the rides, we had a great time. All in all, I think our Epcot portion of this trip was amazing.
SPEAKER_01It was great, and I kind of feel like I love that we did like the park hopper and didn't spend like a full day there because I feel like it's just like a lot of walking by going from one end of the park to the other end of the park, so it was kind of nice just being there for like a half a day each time because you're like, all right, let's just you know go around the circle once.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because if you do stay there, you'll end up going around the world like three times, yeah. Which is isn't it a full what is it uh two miles? I don't know. I don't know, it's pretty far. I I gotta look it up, but hold on, look, it's a podcast, I'll pause it. All right, Siri says that it's 1.2 miles just around the the world showcase alone. So in any given day, we walk back there in a random day. We'll just go around, you know. If it's a full day, we'll go around that world showcase three times, maybe at least.
SPEAKER_01I mean, we were getting 25,000 steps every day, and we averaged it around 2025,000 steps. Yeah, so that first day we did we went to Hollywood, we went to Abc.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we we we rope dropped Hollywood Studios, got right on Rise of the Resistance, and then got on the Skyliner midday when we would like rode everything we wanted to run, yeah, and went to Epcot for three, four hours, then went back to Hollywood Studios to get a couple more towers of terror in. Yeah, we got a problem with that tower of terror. We went on it 10 times, but yeah, it was a lot of fun. I think park hopping that park genius idea. I I think uh parkoppers in general are great depending on the amount of people you're going with.
SPEAKER_01We you know, yeah, it's so easy to get from Hollywood Studios to Epcot.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean the Skyliner has changed everything. I just want to say I love Epcot and I love going to Epcot with you. The food was great. Do not go to Florida Fresh or go and let me know. Message me, let me know what you think of it. But again, thank you for joining us. And I just want everyone at home to remember your next magical vacation to Walt Disney World is only a moment away. Here we go.
