We are gonna go head to head, and we are going to get you guys all emotionally screaming at us in your cars because we are gonna make some brutal choices today. Well, uh, we're in the pod basement today, and we are going to play a game called One's Gotta Go. We will give each other lists of things. It could be parks, resorts, rides, foods, restaurants, all kinds of stuff. Uh, but when we give you that list, one of the things on that list is has to go. Gone forever's gotta go. On the chopping block. It's gonna get chopped. All right. So uh before we get into it, how was your week this week?

It was good. Yeah, it seems fast, right? It's almost over and then a three-day weekend. So looking forward to that.

Memorial days around the corner. It's not like the weather's gonna be super nice, but guess what? We are gonna eat some great food together, and we have all weekend long to plan our next Walt Disney World vacation, which we're looking forward to.

Well, I mean, that's what happens, right? Yeah, you just get a uh uh mildly addicted to it and you keep on planning it. Uh, speaking of which, we are going to get into um starting to plan Disney vacations for other people. All right, so let's start out right now. Are you ready? One's gotta go. We'll do all four parks first. Okay, so the four main gates. One's gonna go Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom.

I hate to do this, but I'm gonna have to cut Animal Kingdom.

Yeah, a reason reason behind it.

The reason because I hadn't gone to Animal Kingdom in so long. Yeah, just because I feel like when you're thinking about going to Disney, you're like, you have to go to Magic Kingdom, you have to go to Epcot, especially if there's a festival, Hollywood Studios because Twilight Zone, Tower of Terror, Star Wars, you know, Galaxy as Edge and Toy Story, like yeah, and like obviously Animal Kingdom is great.

I think I'm finding like more love for Animal Kingdom, but it does only have six rides in it. Yeah, it has six rides currently. That's it.

I know, so it's definitely not a full-day park. So if one's gotta go, that is, I feel like the clear choice. Do you agree?

I'll agree. Animal Kingdom would be on the chopping block, but we on this next trip, we're already saying we will do at least a half day at Animal Kingdom, yeah, with the children. And the children are coming on this trip.

We can't leave the tour. We're going back for the Ube cold brew.

Yeah, it's just real ube cold brew. The children can complain that it's hot. I'm going to Satulli Canteen for that Ube cold brew. And you know, the Expedition Expedition Everest. There's a lot of great food that we're going to put on the list for this next trip. And we will get it with the kids because hey, we can get one thing and share it between the five of us. Here, everybody get a bite. Who cares? Get two of them. Those ice creams, you know, that that brownie, that brookie ice cream sandwich looks good. Um, but yeah, we'll go back, but you're 100% right. If one's gonna go out of those four, it's gonna be Animal Kingdom right now. And I'm sad about it because I do have like newfound love for this park. Uh, all right, let's make it, let's cut it back a little bit further then. So, for sure, if we went in between Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom, you're gonna still say Animal Kingdom's gotta go.

So that's an easy one. But now let's make it a little bit harder. One's gotta go. Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios. Ooh, we're into survivor mode now.

Yeah, because I just I can't imagine not going to Hollywood Studios, not having Twilight Zone, Tower of Terror, the new like Muppet coaster. I'm so excited for.

Oh man, Muppets Mayhem looks so good. All the previews came out this week. And if you listen, at home, if you haven't looked at any of these previews, I don't want to ruin the ride, but oh all the things that we missed out on Muppets, people are saying they're back. Like they got Statler and Waldorf talking about how they're bolted to the seats of their chairs. You know, you've got six different songs, and it just uh when they do the countdown, like you know, the five, four, three, two, one, it's animal, and they just zoom in on his mouth as you go into the tunnel. It looks amazing.

So, for the six songs, are they gonna like have a different song for each ride?

I believe so. Yeah, so it's like an arrow. Guardian's energy. Yep. I can't wait. Oh man, you're gonna make this hard for me, so you're gonna get rid of Epcot out of that. Oh my god. Yeah, like no, I don't know. Yeah, you know, as much as oh my god, I don't know. I just I love Epcot too much. I would oh my god, this is so hard. All right, I would also cut Ebcot just because of the Twilight Zone Tower Tyrant. We're just a little obsessed with it. I love that ride. I just couldn't imagine never doing that ride again. Yeah, but I mean, I guess the ride Soren's great. There's a lot of great rides. I love living with the land. Uh, you know, I love going around the world, but I guess my doctor and my cardiologist would probably like it more if I didn't go to Epcot every time and eat all of that food. You know what I mean? Like I eat terribly around the world, I don't eat responsibly, I eat school bread and pretzel bread pudding within an hour of one another.

It's not yeah, carbs on carbs, but there's a lot of walking involved, yeah.

A lot more walking, but yeah, that's the decision. So now we come down to the final two Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios.

Well, obviously, you cut studios, yeah.

I cannot never getting rid of I'm never getting rid of the Magic Kingdom. No, it is the park, that would be insanity. I mean, even if I had to go one time a year and I can only pick one park, it's gonna be the Magic Kingdom.

Yeah, every year you would go there and you wouldn't switch it off.

I wouldn't even switch it up. There's 26 rides in the Magic Kingdom, it doesn't even come close. I think there's like 11 in Hollywood studios, right? You know, you're just thinking about like what you could get done in a day at Magic Kingdom and just the amount of fun that you would have. Yeah, you know.

Because I feel like even the last time when we went, I got like a little bored at Hollywood, so that's why we ended up going to Epcot on the same day and like park hopping. It's gonna happen.

So I don't even think like it's tough like to say I I don't even think I'd go back to a regular park ticket anymore unless it's Magic Kingdom. Yeah, you can't really do it. If you're in a package, you're committed to power coppers or no power coppers, you know. So I I gotta say, Hollywood Studios gets cut, Magic Kingdom forever. Put me on the people mover. Put me on the people mover with a popcorn bucket and a cold brew, and don't tell anybody that I'm doing it because I'm being looks like Mitchie's being naughty. All right, let's move on then. Let's get into some resorts and let's talk about some Skyliner resorts together. So one's gotta go, pop century, art of animation, Caribbean Beach, the Riviera Resort. Let's start there. One's gotta go.

Um I guess I would say art of animation because I haven't been there.

Because you haven't stayed there, but yes, I mean very similar to so I'd say art of animation and pop century very close, but I would say the same thing. Art of animation would go. I have a special place in my heart. I've stayed in art of animation, special place in my heart for pop century. Now let's make it a little harder. Pop century, Caribbean Beach, Riviera.

Um, I guess I would probably get rid of Caribbean Beach next.

It's a big resort. Yeah, it's got a lot of stuff. If you're not staying in Aruba and using all the Riviera amenities, then why stay there? You know, I like Pop Century better than the Caribbean Beach, even though it has a water slide. It's got Sebastian's Bistro, which is that you know great uh sit-down restaurant with the all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurant with the Caribbean fair. But I think that you're right. I would get rid of Caribbean Beach. Now, yeah, let's make it a little harder.

All right. Beach club resort, Riviera Pop Century. One's gotta go. Um that's hard, right? That's hard.

All right, boardwalk's gone. I will agree with you. The boardwalk's gone, but guess what? I don't care to stay at the boardwalk. I like to walk over and use the boardwalk, staying at the beach club if I had to. Yeah. All right, so now we get we're getting to it now. One's gotta go. Boardwalk, pop century, the Riviera.

I guess I would get rid of Pop Century just because it's like just because it's a value? Well, no, because it's the furthest out, yeah. And I just feel like the Riviera has like great food there.

I'll agree, but can I just say this? There I love Pop Century. So you can get rooms there for like 160 bucks a night some days.

I mean, this is hard choices. Yeah, one's gotta go. All right, I will agree. Now we're down to it. Riviera Resort or the Beach Club Resort. You've seen the pools of both. We've eaten of the restaurants of both. You see the vibe, yeah. See where it is. I mean, you're still uh, you know, a skyliner away from that, you know, boardwalk world showcase entrance at the Riviera. Yeah, you're right there in Beach Club. One's gotta go. Riviera.

I would probably get rid of the Riviera. Oh, but the food, the the best quick service on property. It's it is good, but I feel like the vibe at Beach Club is like more like my vibe. Yeah, like I'm not into like all that just like upscale, fancy. I don't know.

All right, I I'm going to agree with you. And and I've stayed at the beach club uh a couple of times, and I love it. I love the beach club. It is my it's that and the Polynesian are my two favorite resorts. Um, but I do have a bucket list of like staying at the Riviera. I haven't stayed there yet, so I'd like to stay there. Uh, but we've gone to the Riviera so much. The food's great. Topolinos terrace. Like, if we say one's gotta go, no more Topolinos, like no more Primo Piano. Like the food that we killed in that instance is crazy. Um but if one's gotta go, I'm with you. Beach Club wins this round. All right. Uh, I I've got another one coming at you. All right, you ready? All right, so let's go over and do some rides at Magic Kingdom. One's gotta go. Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railway, Space Mountain, Tiana's Bayou. There's five. Let's start at five. One has to go immediately. Which one are you getting rid of?

Haunted Mansion. Oh, I don't know.

I'm saying Big Thunder Mountain Railway for me. Oh, okay.

Yeah, I mean, it's that's okay. I mean, I think a lot of people love it, and that's okay. Like, you can love Big Thunder. It doesn't do a ton for me, particularly. Like, it's it's always been kind of like a step up from the barnstormer for me. It's just like almost like a kiddie coaster, you know? Yeah, it's okay. I know it's one of the original rides, it's not like the wildest ride in the west, you know. Like it's fine. Uh the other rides for me are much better. So, can I convince you to get rid of Big Thunder over Haunted Mansion?

I mean Well, I mean, probably on the next round, I was gonna get rid of Big Thunder.

I would. I'd get rid of Space Mountain. Okay. Because I just, I don't know. Pirates of the Caribbean for me. Yeah. It's just nostalgic in a place to like, you know, that being the first ride that I ever rode in Disney World. Uh Pirates. Oh man. I mean, I love Space. I love Space Mountain too. But I would get rid of Pirates. Or I mean I would get rid of Space Mountain in that and keep pirates and Tron.

Yeah, I think we'll flip-flop on this, and there's no like real argument. I think that the peanut butter cold brew was the better drink. Yeah, it was more unique. Um, I think the ube was phen it was fantastic. Like that is one of those things. It was divine. I I can't recreate the flavor. Like, I think peanut butter, it's almost like let's think about this. It's like brand recognition, right? Peanut butter's more, you know, you recognize the flavor of peanut butter more. I couldn't tell you what does this taste like a sweet potato or something? It's a purple sweet potato, so I couldn't tell you what that tastes like outside of that drink particularly. It was just heavenly, it was great, but the peanut butter was a better drink.

Yeah, and if I had had like a peanut butter, if I had gotten that, yeah, then maybe I would feel differently.

Yeah, but like even you feeling that way, like if you could go in there and order the peanut butter cold brew and order the ube, you would order the ube? Yeah, that's crazy. All right, so I let listen, there's nothing that we need. One's gotta go. We're we're absolutely fighting. I'm tossing everything in the house right now. I'm gonna rile up the dogs. I've had enough. Uh all right. So we'll just say that's a split down the middle, and then we can do nothing there. We did we can do nothing.

Uh, what I got next for you is uh is is just snacks. Okay, so we'll start with some snacks here, and we'll just pretend that you can have all the gluten in the world. We're filling your mouth full of gluten. Uh for this, plain dole whip, a Mickey pretzel, but like you could get like a stuffed one, sweet cream cheese, what you know, a good pretzel. All right, so soft pretzels, dole whip, popcorn, churros. These are all like the classic snacks that you can get in Walt Disney World. One has to go right now, one's gotta go.

This is crazy. Um, yeah, I can't get on board with that. I would have to probably get rid of the stuffed pretzel, would be the first one.

All right, so now we're left with uh Mickey, uh a pretzel and whatever uh iteration you want there. Stuff yes, stuff. Take it easy. This is a family podcast. So don't look at me and say stuffed like that. I'm gonna edit that out. All right, stuffed pretzel. Don't get too excited. Uh, and then there's going to be a uh a churro in whatever form that is, you know, they got them all over the place. In Disneyland, they got crazy churros.

He's like, Let's go. All right, so I'll agree there. Now we're getting down to stuffed pretzel, maple popcorn.

You started as as more as we started uh the talking about this, and I love that maple popcorn. I think I might like regular popcorn a little bit better. So for me, yeah, like just eating it throughout the day. Like a popcorn's my snack, but like that stuffed pretzel. Oh my it there's something to behold in that. You're right. You you like convinced me. Once we took the dole whip out of the the equation, yeah. Stuffed pretzels gonna win. You can get those over at the lunching pad. Uh you can get it all. There's a multitude of yours at Hollywood. Yeah, Hollywood Studios as you're uh walking out of Toy Story Land and coming over to like the back half of like where uh Mickey Minnie's runaway railway is. Uh, you have that um I don't know man, I forget what it's called, but it's like right there uh next to like the Pixar place.

Rise of the resistance, and we know which one's gonna win, so I'm not even gonna put the Hollywood Tower Terror in there because it's gonna win. So I'm gonna go Rise of the Resistance, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, Slinky Dog Dash. And now Rock and Roller Coaster or the Muppets Mayhem. I'm gonna put these four together. Now we haven't ridden the Muppets, but we know what that ride, they didn't change the ride, the theming got changed. Uh for me, I love Muppets, so it's gonna be hard to out throw this one, but I will give it to you right now. One's gotta go.
