SPEAKER_01

Put on your magic band, make sure you pack a poncho. Be prepared for a 97-degree Florida afternoon, because today we're giving you the best Disney World hacks, tips, and tricks that can save your vacation. Here we go. Come on, everybody, here we go. All right, hello everybody, and welcome back to Here We Go, the Walt Disney World Podcast, where we talk rides, foods, resorts, rope drops, and all the chaos in between. I'm Mitch, your host, and as always with me is my beautiful wife, Kim. Say hello, Kim.

SPEAKER_00

Hey guys, how's it going?

SPEAKER_01

No, I said to say hello, Kim. When are you going to learn? All right. Uh, I don't want to be too much of a goof today. We got to get right into it. We're recording here today on Memorial Day. So happy Memorial Day, everybody. And uh thank you for all of those who who've given their life for this country and thanks to all of our service members that listen. Uh and just service members in general. Thank you so much for all that you do. All right, so now we've got that out of the way.

SPEAKER_00

All right.

SPEAKER_01

Let's get into these tips and tricks. Yeah, today we're talking trip. Today we're talking tips and tricks. Hacks that are gonna make your survival for your next Disney World trip an absolute joy. All right. I mean, you've heard of things like rope drop. We'll let you know what that is. Uh, you know, you're gonna have to grab some coffee and sit back and listen to all these because we got a lot of them.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we do.

unknown

All right.

SPEAKER_01

Uh let's get into some of them that I think are just like packing certain things, certain things you think you're going to need on vacation that I, you know, I wouldn't have initially thought that you would need, but let's talk ponchos for a minute.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Buy an Amazon poncho before you spend, you know, $25 on a Disney poncho, they'll get you. You know, having these little having these little portable ponchos ready to go, uh, they'll save you. You can bring them on Tiana's Bayou if you want to go on Kelly River Rapids. If it's does that, you know, Florida afternoon 25 minute rain, you're ready to go.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And especially if you're going during a rainy season, spend like a little more on like one of the nice ponchos like we did last year.

SPEAKER_01

We did, and we were we were able to like you know repack them. Now, thinking about packing things in general, I think you need to think, I think you need to think a think. Think. Let me say think a couple more times. No, you need to really anticipate walking around with some stuff uh all day long. You you can turn your children into pack mules if you want, and they can have a full backpack. I like the idea of everyone having like one of those body slings or a fanny pack. They work they work. Uh merce. Yeah, I call that my merce. I'm gonna put my merce on. Uh, I think they work so well. And it it's it's like you can keep in there because I'm I pin trade, right? So I'm gonna keep you know a little tiny pin board in there with my with my pins. I'm gonna put Advil in there, maybe some snacks. There's no gum sunscreen. Yeah, sunscreen, a little tube of face sunscreen that I can put anywhere that uh sunbum. Yeah, uh, but you gotta think like you can't get gum anywhere in Disney either. Put some gum in there. Uh, don't put it somewhere where it's I'm going to step in it or I will find you. Uh, but yeah, just think about that. You need some sort of carry-all, and you don't have to worry about the rides. Uh, the rides where they don't let you have that, there'll be a locker like aka Tron. Or, you know, there's always some place to put a little bag like that when you're on these rides. It's not gonna fly out or anything. It's it's it's pretty easy.

SPEAKER_00

And get your kids like a little fanny pack, it's good for like their phone. They want to throw a snack in there for those moments when you know we're in an hour line and they're like, I'm starving.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, throw some granola bars in that thing, and and and really make sure that they carry their poncho too. No, you know, you can make one family member. If anybody's trying to make dad out there the pack mule, go ahead and do it. I don't go for that. You know what I mean? I everybody has their own little uh gotta carry your own weight. Yeah, carry your own weight on this trip. Uh, but yeah, I think that that's uh a great way to start saying, hey, these are the things that you should be packing. Portable chargers, you know, using the My Disney Experience app all day will start to drain your phone. Somebody's somebody's gonna need a portable charger. Bring a couple of them if you can. Uh portable fans or neck fans, cooling towels if you're in that you know 98-degree heat with 98% humidity. We'll be there in a few months and we'll look like wet rats, but we're gonna be ready for it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and obviously, if you have little kids and you have a stroller, you can pack a lot more things and just park that stroller somewhere.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but you know, and put an air tag in that stroller or in one of your things, you know. Uh, don't forget to like air tags in general. When you're flying out, I always put air tags in our luggage just to know, hey, we're getting there, we have no underwear, our underwear's back at home. Uh, speaking of underwear, that's another tip that I'd like to give everybody. Extra underwear, extra socks. These are the things. Uh, if you're going to use, you know, uh tip number 487 from us, uh, that is take a midday break, go back to the hotel and chill out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and we never we always thought, oh, we can go all day. This is fine. And then our last trip, we're like, wow, that midday break, go back to the hotel, change your underwear, change your socks.

SPEAKER_01

These are the things. Take a depression.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, you'll feel like a whole new person, you're ready to go for the rest of the night.

SPEAKER_01

Don't stink out the bus on me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Go back. It's okay. I think that's a good good tip and hack to go back to the room, really. Just uh, you know, freshen up, grab another quick bite to eat somewhere, grab a snack that you brought from home. Uh, that that's another thing here. Uh, here's another hack. Uh, book a grocery delivery to the resort. You're gonna want bottles of water, snacks, breakfast things, sunscreen. You know, you can even you can even do alcohol if you want, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I mean, we got protein shakes last time, some cereal, pretzels, cereals, yeah, just a couple things so you have something to snack on at night. Yeah, um, yeah, that was super helpful. Definitely the water bottles.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Uh, I like I like the idea of when you get into the resort to to make it your home immediately. Um, ask for those extra pillows and blankets immediately after check-in. One tip here is most of these uh resorts now have gotten the Hey Disney, which is basically like uh an Alexa into the rooms, and so you can say, Hey Disney, let the front desk know that we want six towels, two blankets, and two billow pillows. Bring that up, and it will do that right from there. So uh you know, yeah, request those right when you get in. I think that that's um a great way. I'm going to give you this tip uh get the refillable mug if you're staying on property. I I think that uh every time I go, it's you know 24 bucks. I think it might be 22 or 24 bucks. Uh get it. You can keep on refilling drinks all day long. Uh if you only from the resorts, you can't get drinks in the park. But then again, it's nice even to have this. If you can put it in your in your backpack or your sling or whatever, if you can hook it on, even get a carabiner so you can hook it on to that. Yeah, you can put the strap through it like if you have a fanny pack that like clips, put it through the handle, uh, put that thing on your waist because it's nice even having the cup to get water throughout the day. Yeah, that's another tip here. Free ice water wherever you go all day.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, as long as they have like a soda fountain type thing, and every quick service will have one. All right, let's get into some more. Another good thing for especially during the hot seasons, pack some dustin. Like, even if you don't have a baby, it just you might need it after a long day walking through the parks with some swamp butt.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, yeah. Yeah, we've talked about chafe before when Tito was on the episode and everything else. It's chafe can happen, chub rub can happen, bring some desitin. You have to anticipate what you're gonna need. And again, if you forget to bring that stuff in your luggage, do it during your Walmart or target delivery, right to the right to the resort. You you're gonna want to do that. It's so easy. I like the idea of using the magic bands. I think it's super easy for us. We did it last time, you know. The magic band, uh it is your wallet, right? So you don't have to bring a credit card everywhere you go. Make sure that it's synced up and ready to do a test on it at the resort before you leave. The only people that can effectively uh put your credit card onto your magic band is the resort. So make sure that you test it out at the resort. If it doesn't work, go over to the front desk and make sure you're ready to rock. That's a good one. Then you don't have to bring anything, you don't have to bring your ID, you don't have to bring your wallet, none of that stuff. If you just have your magic band, it's easy for us. We know we're using one credit card the whole time. It's going on for the room incidentals, and and it's basically the magic band.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and it also gets you into your room, too. So that's nice.

SPEAKER_01

It's your room key, it's your park ticket. I like linking up everything to this magic band, and it's fun. It's a it's a souvenir, like, listen, you can use it over and over again, these magic band pluses, or you can get a new one every time. They range from about 34 to 44 bucks, and they're cool, they're interactive. Last time we found out that if you see any of those gold statues, you can go up to them and you can uh wave your hand in a circle with your magic band on, and they will interact with you, they'll do different sounds. Uh, it's it's a lot of fun. All right, let's talk about uh the resort just a little bit more and in picking your resort. You know, I think transportation is key, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I mean that's definitely something we consider when we're booking our our resort.

SPEAKER_01

So we we are here we are again. Now we're how many more months out? We're three months out, we're going back. We got a problem. We're bringing the kids taking the kids and we're taking my mom for the first time, and she's not she hasn't been since she was a little girl, right? So she hasn't been since she was 10 years old when my grandfather took her, and my grandfather took me for the first time. So it'll be a special trip for her. Um, but we originally were gonna get two rooms at Coronado Springs, and everybody was getting all jazzed up, like, yeah, we're gonna get this dig pool and get all this Mexican food, and we we always want to go to Coronado, and then we sat back and thought for a minute the Skyliner's nice. Yeah, the buses are tough, the Skyliner's nice. So I think when you're thinking about your resort, make sure that it's gonna work for you and your family. Again, uh, you can always email me at uh Mitch at here we go getaways.com or message me at uh Mitch Does Disney on Instagram. You know, all the links are in the uh the podcast description. So ask me the the questions, you know. I've stayed at a lot of these resorts, I can kind of guide your family into where you should be staying. But after a while, us thinking, we went, we should stay on the we should stay on the skyline. Yeah. And we looked at two rooms at Pop Century, and eventually we realized that it would be cheaper to stay in a family suite with the promos that are currently going on. That's another thing, too. That's a tip. Here's a tip always look at what promos are going on. So right now it was 30% off the room rate at Arn of Animation. So normally this room was about $512. We got it for you know under $400 a night, uh, you know, staying in a family suite. And the family suite's like perfect for us. So you know, there's extra beds and places for grandma to sleep, two bathrooms, two bathrooms, which is key, you know. Uh, but yeah, and we're still on the Skyliner. And and you got to think what what's important for your family. We know for us, and we know we want to be able to go back.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's so it's nice to have that option to be able to go back midday if you want, yeah, like we said before, take a dip in the pool, especially when it's super hot out. Change your funder wear.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, change your socks. Uh, yeah, I think that that's important to us, and we like to be able to go to boardwalk at night and being on the Skyliner, that's it. You know, we didn't want to have to get stuck immediately just having only uh only having the buses. So more resort things that we can think of. Uh when you're there at the resort, here's a tip. Uh all the TVs are loaded with Walt Disney World everything. So if you're a Disney Plus subscriber, you can sign into that. There are channels that are just playing the Disney channel all the time. There's the resort channel that'll tell you all about the transportation, the food. There is also uh music, like Disney music channels are going, which is kind of cool just to put on the background. Uh, with the uh Hey Disney, you can tell that Hey Disney the tell me a bedtime story. You know, there's like different things that you can use at the resort, which I think is uh a lot of fun.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and then another fun thing to do is on your days off and you're not in the parks, you can go and explore the deluxe resorts.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean, just resort hopping in general. I think that's a great, great tip. You know, go look at the other deluxe resorts. I I think one thing that we love is the quick service at the resorts for breakfast, they're super underrated. Like every single breakfast is usually fairly similar. You know, get your Mickey waffle going, you know. My son is so pumped, he's like, I'm gonna eat Mickey Waffles every day. Our son is like so pumped up that he sent it to us twice now. He wants Mickey Waffles, so that is a big thing.

SPEAKER_00

So don't sleep on that. Um, and especially that'll like prevent like early morning meltdowns when you haven't eaten anything yet, you're in the parks, and your kids are starving and starting to get hangry already.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and so now we're gonna talk about our next big hack here. Start mobile ordering. So get familiar with that My Disney Experience app on there. There'll be a plus sign at the bottom. You can hit order food and you can start mobile ordering. Uh, it could be anywhere that you're you're you know near. Uh, you know, do it at your resort, do it for when you get to Hollywood Studios and you want Woody's lunchbox. That one typically fills up a lot. Any place where you can mobile order, I think it is a wonderful idea to start mobile ordering. You can customize everything on there and just get ready to pick it up, especially in breakfast. It's easy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, super, super good tip.

SPEAKER_01

It's convenient. And uh remember when you get to the these quick service restaurants, there'll be a separate area to pick up. So you just go over there, you tell them your number, you'll be ready to to pick it up. All right, now Kim's gonna talk about one of the most important tips and tricks that we can ever offer you at Walt Disney World. This was gonna save you a ton of money. What is it, babe? We always say this.

SPEAKER_00

It is the adults should order kid meals.

SPEAKER_01

Everybody should be ordering kids' meals. These things are seven to ten bucks. They're gonna come with multiple sides and a drink. It is plenty of food. The one thing that Disney doesn't sleep on is giving you an abundance of food with every meal. Yeah, I mean, a kid's meal could come with a cheeseburger, two uh a side of fries, some cuties, and a drink. That's $7.99. Yeah, and it's not like a tiny different cheeseburger, it's the same cheeseburger.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's half the price of an adult's meal.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, I mean, think about over at Woody's Lunchbox, get a kid's meal, it comes with a uh grilled cheese, a tomato soup, and tots, and a drink, and that's $8.99. Like that's crazy. So it's a great deal. Really, anybody can be ordering kids' meals at quick service. They will, if you go into the sit-downs, it's usually 10 and under, just so you know. You can't go into a sit-down table service meal and try to order the kids' the kids' meal being an adult, they don't want you in there doing that. But at the quick service, you can order kids' meals. Remember that breakfast. I think it's a great idea because they consider a side at breakfast to be like bacon eggs, it could be a side of grits or polenta, or you know, it's crazy what they do. So get the most out of your money, make sure that you're ordering kids' meals everywhere you go. Um, uh, one thing I'm gonna say, and we kind of touch base on this before, is Disney transportation is a part of the experience, so don't rush every second. You know, I don't think that buses are gonna be necessarily that for me, but I love taking a ride on a Skyliner. I love taking a ride on the monorail, even though it smells like horse barn.

SPEAKER_00

It gets you where you're going, and it's kind of like a ride in itself, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Monorail and and Skyliner for sure. Uh let's talk lightning lanes for a minute. All right. If you're staying on property, you can book your lightning lanes a week in advance. Now that starts at 7 a.m. a week before, and you know, you can book the lightning lanes uh, you know, for the what I always recommend is booking the lightning lanes for the hardest attractions. And the day you're gonna go to Hollywood Studios, make sure you're trying to book that Slinky Dog Dash, you know, lightning or the Muppets Coaster. The Muppets is gonna be one now. It's gonna be Muppets Mayhem is gonna be one. We're gonna have to try to get that right now. So, like, you know, make sure you're booking the hard, the hardest lightning lanes that you can try to get, and try to get them as early as possible because remember, after you burn a lightning lane, a new one will become open to you. Uh, do you know uh research them, do the hardest attraction first. You can stack these things. Uh refreshing through the app throughout the day. If you're like, oh man, there's no more test track. Keep refreshing. It can happen. Yeah, they like open up, they'll open up more, you know. So, you know, they they modify return times you know consistently consistently throughout the day. Uh all right, another let's talk about some food stuff. How about how about how about this one right here? I like this one, right, hun?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so I think it's definitely a good idea. Like, if you're gonna get a snack in between your meals and it's something big, share it like with the rest of the fam. Like, you don't need to get five Mickey pretzels for five of you.

SPEAKER_01

No, you can get two, two, yeah, with cheese. Uh, you know, think about that that cinnamon roll over at Gaston's. That thing's like under six bucks. It's enormous, it'll feed three people. You know, start researching those snacks. Mickey pretzels is a good one. Uh, popcorn and getting those refillable popcorn buckets, you know, to refill it, it's two bucks. I think it's a great deal. Yeah, get a popcorn bucket. You know, I think the first the first fill's 12, and then after that, it's two dollars on the refills. Yeah, so that's a great deal. All right, I'm gonna give you uh some seating at quick service. If you go upstairs at Columbia Harbor House, there's a plethora of air-conditioned seats. It's gorgeous up there. If you go over to Pinocchio's village house, you can go over and wave at people while you're eating your semi-okay mid flatbreads over there. You can wave at people that are on it's a small world. There's some cool places to sit. You know, if you go over to Cosmic Rays, you want to beat the heat. There's a show going on. Sunny Eclipse is in there singing lounge songs that you've never heard before. Uh, you know, don't sleep on some of these quick service, it will help you beat the heat and always look for those uh places that could have upstairs. Columbia Harbor House is one of them. Uh Pecos Bills is really big to be able to Yeah, there's a lot of but man. Last time we went in there, there was a kid that was just he cried for 45 minutes.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

At that point, like Mickey Police should have came and arrested the whole family and shut it down because he was like three, he was just screaming forever. Like, please, someone help this kid.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh let's think about like uh festival booths. If you're over in Epcot, I mean these things can replace going to a restaurant altogether. Yeah, you know, it's going to be hot out. You gotta plan accordingly to try to find some shade. Uh, there are places like let's say like the America Pavilion where you can sit on picnic tables that are covered next to those bathrooms there. Uh yeah, it you're good, you're not gonna have the best amount of shade, but the festival booths are cheap, you know. Get some great, you know, get a uh a lobster roll for under 10 bucks. Where else are you doing that?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's great. And a lot of the stuff, if you just want to try a bunch of stuff, you can just you know share it with the rest of the fam.

SPEAKER_01

And yeah, yeah. All right, let's uh let's give you a few more here. How about uh cool places at night? Let's talk about three places that I think are amazing at night to go ahead and check out. These are an absolute hack to go hang out in tomorrowland at night. Oh yeah, vibe. So cool, total vibe, right? Uh let's talk about uh let's talk about going to uh Star Wars Galaxy's Edge at night vibe.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, that's great, especially. I mean, even if you don't love Star Wars, like it's just yeah cool place to be.

SPEAKER_01

Sunset Boulevard at night, I think is a complete vibe, too. Like that is when you're walking towards the Hollywood Tower, like that whole stretch at night, amazing. And now you can go over and actually do something else and get on Muppets mayhem. You know, that's that's fun. Uh it that's a total vibe, and then it's not open a lot. And but you know, Animal Kingdom used to be open later. Now, you know, post COVID, they they shut that baby down at like six o'clock. Yeah, but if you get the chance, Pandora at night is like something you've never seen. I mean, there's bioluminescence everywhere, they've got floating, you know, waterfalls in the sky and islands and stuff. Total vibe. I absolutely love it. Uh, we said Toy Storyland at night, cool. But very little shade during the day. Just to let everyone know. Careful during the day, you will get scorched. There's no shade. It is like a parking lot out there. You're going to get your face burned. And like even talking about lines that would have some AC. My God. Slinky dog? No AC.

SPEAKER_00

No. You're just going to suffer the whole time you're in line. So try to get a lightning lane for that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, get a lightning lane if you can on that thing. That's one of those ones you should try to plan accordingly. Uh, you know, don't sleep on rope dropping and early access. You know, go to Animal Kingdom, uh, go to Animal Kingdom early for sure. If you don't care about going on X or on going on flight of passage, head right over to Expedition Everest and rope drop. You'll be able to ride that thing like 10 times, yeah. Easily. Like that, no one's gonna go that way. You can ride it a ton. Uh, you know, and you gotta think the animals are more active in the morning in Animal Kingdom too. So that's another thing to think of. If you're gonna go on the Kilimanjaro Safaris, yeah, make sure you're there in the morning. It is, it's definitely a better experience, yeah, for sure. Okay, let's talk fireworks just for a minute. There are cool places to see fireworks, right? If you get a ride, if you get on a ride, you can see the Magic Kingdom fireworks like uh Snow White and Seven Dwarves Mine Train. Yeah, it just happened for us. You can hop on the people mover, which I think is cool. Yeah, and I'll catch a catch a glimpse as you're going around. Yeah, as you're going around. The other thing with the fireworks to to realize is that when the fireworks are going off or when the parade is happening, these are when the lines to the rides are going to be the slowest. Yeah. Hop in. You know, if you don't care about those things, if you don't have little kids that care, hop in and get on the rides. You know what I mean? I mean, for sure. How many tips and tricks are we giving? All right, we've given a ton. Uh uh, let's talk about how much you're gonna walk on this trip. I mean, what did we average on the last one?

SPEAKER_00

Like 25 to 28,000 steps. Yeah, that's that's a lot. So make sure that you're bringing the appropriate footwear, and honestly, bring a couple pairs because what feels comfortable one day the next day might be like, oh, can't put these back on.

SPEAKER_01

For sure. So we have found that we really like on clouds. So we brought a couple different pairs of on clouds, some different sandals. I would never recommend wearing crocs or sandals into a park, but I mean, we you know, you could be we're all sensitive feet, you know. My son will wear you know woody crocs into that park, he doesn't care. Uh, you know, just pay attention, you're going to be walking a lot. Get some hokas, get some brooks, get some enclouds, get a nice pair of shoes as you're gonna walk around and bring multiple pairs for sure. Yeah, like I said, bring my extra socks, extra underwear, that's gonna be the whole thing.

SPEAKER_00

Make sure and make sure you've like worn them before, they're not brand new, yeah. Like the first time wearing them in the parks, because then you may have some blisters. So definitely bring some band-aids, yes, in case you get blisters for sure.

SPEAKER_01

We did we we brought band blind we did bring band-aids on this last trip, and it is you know, I didn't need them, but man, I've been there before within a blister, and there's not a heck of a lot you can do. Yeah, so good socks, good shoes. Uh, let's talk about just resort days being underrated. I think that everyone should try to plan. You can't go five days and I've done it, but do not do it. Don't go five days a row into the park. I think a great tip is to split up your trip accordingly. A midday week resort day is completely underrated. You know, if you're going in the morning and hitting the pools and everything, then take a break, hop on the skyliner or take a take a bus over to uh to a park to do a transfer and go over to another resort. You know, go go look at the monorail resorts. Resort hopping is a lot of fun. Go eat at somebody else. Go to Disney Springs, go to Disney Springs, but but resort days underrated. You know, check out the pool. These are all world-class resorts, they all have amazing pools, even at the value resorts. The hippie dippy pool was great. I could hung there all day. Who cares? Uh mind. I think we would have done that, but it started uh thunder and lightning. Uh, I will say, uh, you know, look for free things, just like I said, like resort hopping is fun, pin trading can be fun. Try that out. Uh I'm gonna give you one more cool tip here uh before we get out of here. And uh I'll give you one cool tip and something that's gonna come from my heart here for everybody that's listening. Uh, the the tip is you know, go to touringplans.com. I'm not sponsored by them or anything like that, or um, you know, some like some Disney Parks blog. There's a bunch of different uh Disney websites that'll have these crowd calendars. When you're planning your trip, take a look at a crowd calendar. I think touring plans has a pretty good one. It'll say, you know, your trip's either gonna be at a between a one and a ten per day, and it'll tell you how busy the days each each park is, and there's gonna give you the hours of every one of those parks. Uh, you know, look at those, study those because there's gonna be differences and and think about if there is a special nightly event going on, you know. Sometimes at the Magic Kingdom, like what's happening with our trip coming up, there is a Halloween party happening at night on certain days. So the Magic Kingdom is gonna close at six o'clock. You have to know that. There'll be slow days during the day because people won't want to go, but maybe you only want to go from the morning tonight to six, and then you get a park hopper and you go over to Hollywood Studios or something. Yeah, it's a perfect time to get a park hopper, or go to one of these parties. We're gonna go to the Halloween party because there'll be trick-or-treating and lower wait times for everything, you know, and you get to see certain shows that you wouldn't see anywhere else.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so and you don't have to worry about buying like the lightning lanes and uh yeah, the single ride single ride passes.

SPEAKER_01

So that's nice. You can experience Tron four times and leave. Yeah, that's all I want to do, but yeah, really, really take advantage of those things and and be cognizant on what time the parks close. You know, like I said before, watch out for Disney offers. You know, when the day that you check in right now over the summer from from May until September, you get a free water park. We're gonna take advantage of that. We're gonna report back. We've never gone to a Disney water park before. We can't wait. Typhoon Lagoon's gonna hate to see me belly flopping. Here I come. Uh yeah, I I think uh looking at all those calendars and just being uh aware of offers is a big thing. Again, you can always message me at Mitch Does Disney, follow, rate, share, uh, email me at at Mitch at here we go getaways.com. Yeah. And really, I'm gonna give you the last one here on my tips and tricks for this first one that we've ever done is the best Disney memories are usually the ones you didn't plan. Yeah, you can overplan. I'm telling you guys to be super prepared, but be ready to be flexible as well. Because I think those things that you didn't plan for are always the one that hit you right in the heartstrings the most, and the things that we will remember the most.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, sometimes you gotta plan for four months, other times you just gotta be whim babies.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you gotta be whim babies sometimes and just go by the seed of your pants. You know, just be ready. It's it's like the little things are gonna count, but then be open to whatever. You can always get a popcorn bucket, it's gonna pay you back and two rebuys. Yeah, but you know, be ready to go. You know what? I don't want to go to this character dinner right now. I want to go, you know, just get on four more rides, whatever you want to do. Yeah, you know, don't overplan, but be prepared for anything. And that's it. That's all we got today. It was great going over these tips and tricks. I know I just talked uh ad nauseum for this whole time, but I'm trying to give you as much knowledge as I can. I think we have a plethora of knowledge here going as many times as we have. Um, I am a uh uh the certified travel agent now, so I can help anybody with any of their trips. You know, utilize me. I'm ready to give back and help.

SPEAKER_00

You know, yeah, he will plan you one heck of a trip if you let him.

SPEAKER_01

I will. If you let me, I will I will make sure that you have the best trip possible. But again, uh, thank everybody for listening with us here today. Thank you, honey, for uh bearing with me and letting me just yammer on. It was a it was a Mitch Heavy podcast today. Not a whole lot of fun, but a ton of information.
