Hi, this is Lyra and Mummy. Today we're not gonna read another great story, but we're gonna answer great questions.

So the first question was um how do you choose the books?

Uh it's probably because we like them and we think other people might like to listen to them.

How do we choose Lu Q, which was our first one? Because they really do, but where did the book come from? The library. Yeah, it was a library book, wasn't it? So we sort of that was the first one. Um and you're quite into Little Miss and Mr. Man books, aren't you? Oh yeah. Yeah, but we've got a couple of requests soon.

So my mummy's like that. My mummy's just gone to order. Yes, it is, I put it on. I put it back on. So my mummy is just um in the kitchen checking the dinner, check the potatoes. So I can't remember what the other questions were. It was how do you I think there was one how do you choose the music? It was I think we chose it because Lila and Dad does music, so we thought we might do the music and and that music is like nice to listen to and I hope other people like it as well.

Is this about the habit use the jingles? Yeah. Well, also it depends on what we can find on the different bits of rep websites and software that mummy uses.

Yeah. Why did you both decide to create a podcast? Well, it's probably because can I get a book?

Uh because well, Lyra and Dad inspired us, and I was like, can we do a podcast? And Mummy said yes, and then I was so excited and we read you Luke. Yeah, and you and we were waiting for some qu comments, and if you want, guys, um you can send us some um little messages for um like if you like it and for questions and what your name is and what book you would like us to read. Yeah, you can do that if you would like.

I do learning at school to read in my reading groups.

Uh yeah. And we do reading as well on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays. But we don't do it on Thursday and Friday because that's when you get a new book.

Maybe, although you don't actually read it that much with me, but you do read it. Well, I did take it in school at well, but you did, and you did dress up as Matilda, so maybe she's your favourite character. Yeah. Your favourite books did used to be for quite a while the Naughty Little Sister stories. Uh yeah. I still like them. Yeah. Um we're gonna do more chapters of them, aren't we? Yeah, we're gonna do more chapters of them. Uh my favourite book, oh, that's tricky.

Yeah, and Lyra's daddy is called Malaxi Mouse. Now, another question: are the pictures that go along with the story important to telling the story? Yes. Why do you think that?

I'm not sure. Yes, I know. Some stories, like children's picture books, because there was no pictures in a picture book, that'd be really sad. But if it's like a chapter book, I don't mind so much. Okay.

Would it help if they had more pictures than they currently do? Yeah, I might. Yeah, that'd be good, wouldn't it? Do you know there's a thing called graphic novels? So grown-ups have picture books as well. Not all of them, but there are some picture books for grown-ups. Daddy likes those, doesn't he?

Let's see. Are there any more questions? Okay, this is the last question. What's the best thing about making podcasts together? It is nice, isn't it? I would say my best thing about making podcasts together is spending time doing something nice, but also hearing Lyra read with all of the fabulous voices because she doesn't like doing that so much as when we're doing a podcast, that's the time the voices really come out the best.
