There comes a moment in every believer's life when the noise around you gets so loud that the voice of God inside starts to feel faint. When you realize you've been doing all the right things serving, leading, showing up, but you haven't actually been with God or even with yourself. Maybe you felt that tug, that holy discomfort, that gentle conviction from the Holy Spirit whispering, daughter, son, there's more for you than this. Today we're talking about that moment, the moment of awakening, not just self-awareness, but God awareness. The moment Christ invites you to see your life through his eyes. Welcome to the AAA Resilience Podcast, where awakening leads to clarity, alignment leads to peace, and activation leads to purpose. I am Dr. Roland Saint Gerard, author, speaker, and resilience coach. And every week we journey through these three movements so you can live with emotional clarity, spiritual grounding, and God given purpose. Let's begin. Awakening isn't dramatic. It's not lightning. It's not a crisis moment. Awakening is clarity. It's that gentle moment when the Holy Spirit shines light on something that's been true for a long time. You just haven't wanted to look at it. It sounds like, Lord, I can't keep living like this. I've outgrown this version of myself. I'm tired of pretending I'm okay. Jesus, I want to feel whole again. Sometimes awakening feels like draining, sometimes like longing, sometimes like grief. But it's never about shame. It's about truth. It's about seeing yourself with compassion the way Christ sees you. Awakening is the first step because you can't heal what you won't name. You can't align with a calling you haven't acknowledged, and you can't activate a life you haven't awakened to. Awakening is God's invitation to return to yourself and to him. There was a season in my life when I was doing everything right. I was serving, leading, showing up for everyone. And inside I was exhausted spiritually, emotionally, physically. I knew how to pour out. I didn't know how to sit still long enough for God to pour back into me. One day in the quiet, I sensed the Lord ask me a question I had avoided for years. Roland, what do you need? And I didn't have an answer. I had spent so long being strong for others that I forgot how to be honest with God about myself. That moment, that gentle conviction was my awakening. Not condemnation, not shame, just Christ inviting me to stop performing and start being. Every episode of the Triple E Resilience Podcast follows a rhythm, a spiritual formation arc that mirrors how God transforms us. Number one, awakening. Seeing yourself clearly in God's light. This is where truth begins, where the Holy Spirit reveals what you've been carrying, where you stop running from yourself and from God. Number two, alignment, reordering your life around God's priorities. This is where clarity becomes obedience, where values turn into boundaries, where calling becomes rhythm. And number three, activation, walking out your purpose with courage. This is where transformation becomes visible, where faith becomes movement, where you step into the works God prepared for you. Awakening is the doorway. Alignment is the path. Activation is the journey with Christ leading every step. When you are in a season of awakening, you don't need a five-year plan. You don't need a color-coded strategy. What you need is honesty, stillness, and courage. The quiet kind that tells the truth in God's presence. Let's walk through the three questions slowly. Number one, Lord, what truth am I avoiding? Every awakening begins with a truth we've been unwilling to face. Avoided truth doesn't disappear, it hides. It shows up as frustration, irritability, burnout, or that quiet sense that something is off. This question isn't about condemnation, it's about liberation. Number two, Jesus, what part of me are you inviting me to see? Awakening isn't just about what's wrong, it's about what's rising. Maybe it's the tired part, the grieving part, the courageous part, the part that still believes. This question invites compassion to see yourself the way Christ sees you. And number three, God, what in my life is no longer aligned with who you're calling me to become? This is where awakening becomes discipleship. You start noticing habits that drain you, rhythms that no longer serve you, roles you've outgrown. Alignment isn't abandoning people, it's refusing to abandon your calling. Take a breath, a real one. Let your shoulders drop. Let your jaw unclench. Let your breath slow. Now gently bring these three questions before God. Lord, what truth am I avoiding? Don't force anything. Just notice what rises when you ask that question. Stay still. Silent. And let the Holy Spirit reveal to you. Number two, Jesus, what part of me are you inviting me to see? Now let your awareness move inward. Whatever comes up, acknowledge it without judgment. Don't judge it. Just notice it. And number three, God, what in my life is no longer aligned with who you're calling me to become. Here you don't have to fix it today. You just have to name it because what you name, God can transform. Here's a Christ-centered activation prayer. Lord, awaken what has been sleeping within me. Reveal what has been hidden. Lord, heal what has been hurting and align my life with your calling. Give me the courage to face truth, the compassion to see myself clearly, and the faith to surrender what no longer serves my becoming. Lead me into the version of myself that reflects your heart, your wisdom, and your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen. Take one more breath. Slow, steady, present. You are awakening, not by striving, but by surrender. And now may the God who awakens the soul stir something new and holy within you today. May truth become your doorway to freedom. May compassion meet every part of you, Jesus reveals. May alignment bring your life back into harmony with his calling. My friend, you are awakening. You are aligning. You are becoming. And Christ is with you in every breath and every step. Thank you for sharing this blessed moment with me today. Remember, Christ meets you in your awakening. He strengthens you in your alignment, and he empowers you in your activation. You're not behind. You're not forgotten. You're not walking alone. This is the Triple A Resilience Podcast, where transformation begins within and Christ walks with you through every step. Live awakened. Live aligned. Live on purpose in Christ. I'll meet you in the next episode.
