AAA RESILIENCE PODCAST - EPISODE 3
“Activation Begins Here: Stepping Into the Works God Prepared for You”
OPENING HOOK — refined
There comes a moment in every believer’s journey when God doesn’t just open your eyes — He invites you to move. Awakening reveals what is true. Alignment brings your life into agreement with that truth. But activation… activation is when you step into the life God has been preparing for you all along.
In Ezekiel 37, the Spirit of the Lord carried Ezekiel into a valley filled with dry bones. That was the awakening — God showing him the true condition of the land. Then God asked, “Son of man, can these bones live?” Ezekiel responded, “Lord, You alone know.” That was the alignment — a shift from human reasoning to divine agreement. And then came the activation: God commanded Ezekiel to prophesy. Ezekiel obeyed, and the bones came together, breath entered them, and they rose as a mighty army.
Activation is not about doing more. It’s about doing what matters — what you were called to do. It’s about stepping into assignments that carry God’s fingerprints. It’s about saying “yes” to the works He prepared for you before you were even born.
Today, we’re talking about that sacred moment when faith becomes movement, when clarity becomes courage, and when your life begins to reflect the purpose God placed inside you.
WELCOME + IDENTITY STATEMENT — refined
Welcome to the AAA Resilience Podcast — where Awakening brings clarity, Alignment brings peace, and Activation brings purpose. I’m Dr. Roland St. Gérard, and today we’re stepping into the third movement of resilience: living out what God has placed within you.
SECTION 1 — What Activation Really Means
Activation is not busyness. It’s not hustle. It’s not striving to prove something to God or to people.
Activation is obedience in motion.
It’s the moment when your internal transformation begins shaping your external world. When your decisions, actions, relationships, and rhythms begin to reflect the calling God has placed on your life.
Activation sounds like:
- “I’m ready to take the next step.”
- “I can no longer stay where I’ve been.”
- “God is calling me forward.”
- “It’s time to walk in what I’ve been praying for.”
Activation is not about perfection — it’s about participation. It’s joining God in the work He is already doing in you and around you.
Ephesians 2:10 declares, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
And here’s the truth: You cannot step into your God‑given future while clinging to a past version of yourself.
When God sent angels to rescue Lot’s family, they were told, “Do not look back.” But Lot’s wife looked back — and became a pillar of salt. Many people cannot move forward because they have become a pillar of the past.
Activation requires courage. It requires trust. And it requires movement — even when you don’t feel fully ready.
SECTION 2 — My Activation Moment
After awakening and alignment, I assumed activation would be obvious. But activation rarely arrives with a spotlight. It often comes quietly — as a nudge, a whisper, a conviction that refuses to leave.
For me, activation came when God invited me into a deeper level of obedience. Not louder. Not busier. But deeper.
I sensed God saying, “Roland, you’ve aligned your life. Now walk in what I’ve shown you. Walk, son. And don’t look back.”
And I realized something: Clarity without movement becomes stagnation. Alignment without obedience becomes comfort. But activation — activation is where transformation becomes visible. You can see it. You can feel it. You can sense it in the atmosphere.
I didn’t feel ready. I didn’t feel qualified. But God wasn’t asking for perfection — He was asking for participation.
This podcast is a perfect example. I should have started it long ago. But I kept looking back. I kept thinking, “I’m not ready.” Truthfully, I still don’t feel ready. But I am aligned — and aligning. And as Paul said, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”
So I finally obeyed that voice. Ready or not, God is working through me to bring you clarity of mind, identity alignment, and courage to move forward.
And when I took that first step, everything shifted — not because the path was easy, but because God was already on it.
SECTION 3 — Three Signs You’re Ready for Activation
1. You feel a holy restlessness.
Not anxiety. Not pressure. A deep sense that staying where you are is no longer an option.
2. You sense God highlighting a specific step.
A conversation. A boundary. A project. A calling. A shift in how you show up.
Let me be honest — I’m living this right now. It felt like a tug‑of‑war with God. He pulled the rope, and I pulled back. “Roland, it’s time.” “But Lord…” “Roland, let go.” Excuse after excuse.
But I have been awakened. I am aligned and aligning. And I am activated — and will continue to be activated — in my calling, my identity, and my voice.
3. You feel grace for movement.
Activation doesn’t feel forced. It feels supported. You sense God’s presence in the step, even if you don’t see the whole path.
When it’s time, you don’t have to force it. In alignment and trust, you discern the move God is calling you to make.
Activation is not about knowing everything — it’s about trusting the One who does.
SECTION 4 — Your Activation Questions
Just like awakening and alignment have their questions, activation has its own.
1. “Lord, what step are You calling me to take right now?”
Not someday. Not eventually. Right now. Pause if you need to. Reflect deeply. Is it about your health? Your family? Your career? Your intellectual property? Your city? Your ministry? Your service to the vulnerable?
2. “What fear do I need to surrender to move forward?”
Fear of failure. Fear of success. Fear of judgment. Fear of the unknown. Fear of leaving the familiar.
You may fear failing. You may fear making mistakes. You may fear not getting it right the first time. But as one author said, fail forward. You must be willing to fail to succeed.
Maybe you fear success — that it might change you or cost you relationships. Hear me: if your heart is right, success cannot damage you. And if people leave because you grow, let them go. True friends celebrate your evolution.
3. “Who do I need to become to carry what You’re giving me?”
Activation is not just about doing — it’s about becoming. It is transformation. Metamorphoo. Metamorphosis.
The caterpillar crawls in dust, but the butterfly soars in freedom.
Paul told the Romans, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
You are becoming the original design God intended. Back to Christ. Back to divine reality. Back to your calling.
As my Haitian people say: “Men sa map pale-a. A pa li papa.” Translation: This is it. The real deal.
SECTION 5 — Activation Moment
This has been an energizing episode, but now we slow down. Tell yourself: Slow down.
Take a deep breath. Let your spirit settle. Become aware of God’s presence.
Bring these questions before Him:
1. “Lord, what step are You calling me to take right now?”
Let the first thing that rises come to the surface.
2. “What fear do I need to surrender?”
Name it. Release it. Let God meet you in it.
3. “Who are You shaping me to become?”
Let God speak identity over you.
Activation Prayer
“Lord, thank You for awakening me. Thank You for aligning me. Now activate me. Give me courage to take the step You’re calling me to take. Strengthen my faith. Silence my fears. And lead me into the purpose You prepared for me. I say yes to Your calling, yes to Your timing, and yes to Your presence. Amen.”
CLOSING BENEDICTION
May the God who called you awaken your spirit, align your life, and activate your purpose. May every step you take be guided by His wisdom and strengthened by His grace. And may you walk boldly into the life He designed for you.
You are awakening. You are aligning. You are activating. And Christ is with you in every step.
OUTRO
Thank you for joining me today. Awakening opens your eyes. Alignment orders your life. Activation moves you into purpose. You are not behind. You are not alone. You are being shaped, strengthened, and sent by God.
