We're taught from a very young age that intelligence looks one way: logical, analytical, strategic. And while that kind of intelligence built the modern world, it was never designed to run your entire life. When it becomes the only intelligence you trust, life starts to feel like something you're constantly trying to figure out, rather than something you're actually living.
In this episode, I explore the four intelligences that shape the way we experience everything, and why so many of us have been overdeveloping one while quietly shutting down the rest.
I break down how each intelligence communicates with you, what it sounds like when it's been suppressed, and what becomes possible when they finally start working together.
Because true alignment doesn’t come from thinking harder… It comes from learning to trust yourself again by listening deeper.
I speak on:
- Why the mind is an incredible tool, but was never meant to lead
- Mental, emotional, body, and spiritual intelligence and how each one speaks to you
- Why emotions aren't problems to fix, they're sacred signals
- How your body detects the truth before your mind catches up
- Intuition as your deepest inner guidance
- My own story of how all four intelligences collided in one pivotal moment
- What it actually feels like when these systems start working in harmony

Welcome to Divinely Wired, a space where you come to remember your divinity. Because in a world that profits from your disconnection, your very presence here means you are choosing remembrance. Your intuition, that inner compass guided you here for a reason. And this podcast is an invitation to reconnect with that sacred blueprint within you that's coded for abundance, joy, and expansion. The appealing consciousness, spirituality, and personal development of our playground. And I'll be sharing some powerful stories, tools, and modalities to help you elevate your life into deeper alignment and magic. Because you are not here to merely survive. You are wired to thrive. So let this be a living, breathing transmission to remind you of that. I'm your host, Sarah Vinant, and I'm so grateful that you're here. Let's begin. Hello, beautiful soul, and welcome back. In the last episode, we spoke all about the nervous system and we explored how your body is constantly scanning your environment and really just asking one simple question at the core. Am I safe here? And once you understand that, you start to realize something quite powerful because it seems as though we are literally responding to life through our bodies, our thoughts, our patterns, our conditioning and internal systems that were actually built way long before we became conscious of them. And today I want to zoom out even further, because most of us were raised to believe that intelligence only looks one way, including myself. And the one way that I'm referring to is logical thinking, analysis, being smart in the way the world recognizes. Now, this logical thinking is what school systems reward, what corporate environments reward, and what society celebrates. And we're taught that intelligence means being good at analyzing things and problem solving and critical thinking and memorizing information or making strategic decisions. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that this kind of intelligence isn't incredibly valuable. But here is where it gets interesting because that's only one part of our entire intelligence. And when you rely on that alone, you don't become more powerful. You actually become more disconnected from your own guidance system. And I'm going to break this down for you now in this episode. So there are four main types of intelligences that shape the way we experience life. These are the mental intelligence, the emotional intelligence, the body intelligence, and the spiritual intelligence. And the reason so many people feel disconnected, burnt out, or confused about their direction in life is because we've been trained from a very young age to over-develop one of these intelligences while ignoring the others. And I bet you can guess which one that is. And I'm going to start with that. So, our mental intelligence as a human species has been overdeveloped. And the mental intelligence is the one that most of us are familiar with. This is the logic, the analysis, the strategy, the planning, the rationale. This is the intelligence of the mind. It's what helps us solve problems, organize information, build systems, and understand complex ideas. And it's what's built our modern society. And by that I mean technology, medicine, engineering, science, architecture, and all of these wonderful, incredible human achievements have come from the power of the analytical mind. But the mind is, yes, an incredible tool, but it was never designed to lead your entire life. It was designed to support it. So when mental intelligence becomes the only intelligence we trust, life can start to feel like something we're constantly trying to figure out rather than something we're actually living. So we end up analyzing everything, we overthink decisions, and we try to logically calculate every possible outcome before taking action. And this can be exhausting. And ironically, the more we try to control life through logic, the more disconnected we end up feeling from it. Because life can't just be solved with a spreadsheet. And the mind can only make decisions based on what it already knows, which means if you're only using logic, you're often choosing from your past and not your potential. And this is really important to bear in mind. Some of the most important decisions we make, like who to love, what path to follow, where we feel called to go, rarely make perfect logical sense. And mental intelligence is powerful, yes, but it was never meant to operate alone. Now, the second intelligence I want to speak about is emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize, understand, and regulate emotions, both your own and the emotions of other people. Now, this intelligence helps you understand what's happening in your inner world, your inner landscape without becoming overwhelmed by it. It allows you to communicate clearly, empathize with others, and build meaningful relationships while navigating the complexity of human interaction. And most people don't struggle with emotions because they're too emotional. They actually struggle because no one ever taught them how to understand what they feel. And emotions then can become overwhelming. And I want you to remember, emotions are not problems to fix, they're signals. They are signals from your emotional intelligence. They tell you when something matters to you. They tell you when a boundary has been crossed, or when something feels aligned for you, or when something feels off. For example, let's say you feel a deep sense of excitement when you think about a particular opportunity in your life right now. That emotion is giving you information about what feels meaningful to you. And if you feel resentment, for example, in a relationship or a business partnership, that emotion may be highlighting a boundary that hasn't been expressed. But many of us were raised in environments where emotions were dismissed or suppressed. So this can sound like stop crying, don't be so sensitive, be strong, just get on with it. So we learn to disconnect from our emotional intelligence. And when you ignore emotion, you don't become stronger. This is the myth. You become disconnected from your truth. And when we disconnect from our emotions, we also disconnect from our authenticity. Because developing emotional intelligence doesn't mean becoming emotional all the time. And this is where most people fall short. It means becoming aware of what you feel, and most importantly, understanding the message behind it. And the third intelligence is the body intelligence. Now, the body intelligence is the intelligence of the body, as it says on the tin, and your body is constantly communicating with you through physical sensations. So this can be tension, relaxation, feelings of expansion or contraction, when you have butterflies in your stomach, or you have a tight chest, or when your breathing is super calm, or you have a sense of ease. These sensations are messages from your nervous system. And your body is not just reacting randomly to life, it's responding intelligently to what it's perceiving. And your body is processing enormous amounts of information every second, far more than your conscious mind is capable of analyzing. And your body picks up subtle cues in your environment, like the tone of someone's voice or their facial expressions or body language, if there's a shift in energy and if there's any emotional dynamics between people. And it actually communicates what it's detecting through sensation because it can't speak English. So that's its language to communicate with you. And think about it for a second. Have you ever met someone? And then something in your body just feels slightly uncomfortable or off, even if you can't logically explain why. Or you walk into a new place and immediately feel relaxed and at ease. That's body intelligence communicating with you. And most people get this part wrong because they wait for logical proof before they trust what their body is telling them. But your body often is the first signal. The mind just catches up later. The body often recognizes truth before the mind does. So another example is when you get goosebumps, and I like to call these the spiritual chills or the spiritual confirmation. But in a culture that prioritizes productivity and logic, we've been conditioned to override these signals and not really look deeper into the messaging of them. So we push through exhaustion, we ignore tension, we suppress the stress that's overwhelming us, and we just work through burnout. And when the body isn't listened to for long enough, it begins to communicate more loudly to get your attention. And this can come through anxiety, chronic tension, fatigue, dis-ease, and autoimmune illnesses. So learning to listen to the body again is one of the most profound ways we can reconnect with ourselves. And the fourth and final intelligence is the spiritual intelligence. Now, spiritual intelligence is our ability to connect with the deeper intelligence beyond the analytical mind. And this is the sweet spot where intuition lives. Intuition is that quiet inner knowing that doesn't always come with a logical explanation. It's quite subtle, but very precise and often pretty inconvenient to the logical mind. It's that nudge that tells you, take that opportunity, or something about the situation feels off, or maybe call this person randomly, or leave that environment or that workplace. And it's the feeling that you know something even before you can explain it. You're not guessing when you feel something intuitively. You're accessing information that your mind hasn't caught up with yet. There is a big difference. And most people feel like they're just making it up. Or where is this information coming from? And a lot of the time they can tap into this through the subconscious mind, through modalities like hypnosis, where we're accessing that deeper part of us. So spiritual intelligence allows us to recognize that life is not just a random sequence of events. There is a deeper intelligence moving through nature, through consciousness, and through the universe itself. And some people call that intelligence source or God or the universe. But whatever language resonates with you, I want you to remember intuition is how we access that deeper guidance. And it looks like the more we slow down and the more we listen, the clearer that beautiful intuitive voice becomes. And it really isn't something mystical reserved for special people or even spiritual people, even though I like to call it the spiritual intelligence. Every single human being has access to their intuition. It's a natural human ability that becomes stronger when we reconnect with ourselves and we practice listening to it. So let's bring it all together. These intelligences are not meant to compete with each other. They're actually meant to work together because your mind analyzes, your emotions inform, your body signals, and your spiritual intelligence through intuition guides you. And most people are trying to make decisions from one part of themselves, which is the analytical mind, and then wonder why they feel conflicted or lack clarity. Now, when these systems are aligned, decisions will feel clearer. And you move through life with more trust, with more ease, with more grace, with more flow. And you stop forcing things so much and start noticing when something feels aligned. Because alignment doesn't come from thinking harder, it comes from listening deeper. But when one intelligence dominates and the others are ignored, life can become confusing. So you can become overly logical and disconnected from your feelings, or overwhelmed by emotion without clarity, or you may be very intuitive but ungrounded. So the real magic happens when these intelligences begin working together in harmony. Now, before we move on, I would love to invite you to take a moment and reflect on these four intelligences. Ask yourself honestly, which intelligence do I rely on the most? Are you someone who lives mostly in your mind, analyzing and overthinking everything? Are you someone who feels deeply but sometimes struggles to regulate those emotions? Do you feel very connected to your body and physical sensation? Or do you often experience intuitive nudges or gut feelings guiding your decisions? And just notice which part of you have you been trusting the most? And which part of you have you been ignoring the most? And there's really no right or wrong answer here. The goal isn't to eliminate one intelligence, it's to integrate all of them together. Because the more these intelligences come into balance, the more clearly you can move through life with that ease, with that joy, and with that grace that we are all looking for. So let me bring this back to my own life for a moment. Because when I reflect on my journey, I realize something super fascinating. Now, in the last episode, I spoke about the moment my intuitive intelligence, or what we've called the spiritual intelligence today, began overriding my logical mind. My intuition was telling me to quit my corporate job in the middle of the pandemic. And at the time when five million people in the UK were unemployed, and I was being guided to walk away from a secure salary and a promotion to follow a path that had no clear plan, no structure, no roadmap. You can imagine what my mental intelligence was doing at that point. It was freaking out. My logical mind was asking, are you insane? We are going to end up homeless. Where is the plan? What happens if this fails? What happens if you run out of money? And this is what the mental intelligence does. It tries to protect you using what it already knows. But thankfully, something deeper inside of me, that quiet voice that we spoke about, the intuition, kept nudging me forward. And that was the first time I really started to feel the difference between logic and intuition. Now, around that time, I also had discovered rapid transformational therapy. And I had eight sessions myself to get to the root cause of many of the issues that I was navigating in my life. And I ended up training as a rapid transformational therapist during the pandemic because I loved it so much. I studied intensely. I was obsessed with it. And within just under 12 months, I had completed the training and started seeing clients. And honestly, I loved it then and I love it now. And people would come to my home for sessions, bringing all sorts of challenges with them, from insomnia to PTSD to fertility issues, anxiety, phobias, even things like facial ticks that they had struggled with for years and years. And I would guide them through these sessions, uncovering the subconscious belief behind their struggles by getting to the root cause of it in just one session. And afterwards, I created personalized recordings for them to listen to, to rewire and reprogram their subconscious mind to help them install their new beliefs. And seeing people walk in one way and leave completely different just felt incredible. And for the first time in my life, I truly felt like I was in my element and making a difference and doing something valuable. But at the same time, there was still another layer unfolding within me because this kundalini energy that had awakened in my body was still very active and I didn't fully understand what it was yet. So I was navigating life with this powerful energy moving through me without having all of the answers. Then something very interesting happened. As the world started opening up again after COVID, I started dancing again. Now, dancing has always been a huge part of my life. I started partner dancing when I was about 15, 16 years old. And by partner dancing, I mean salsa, bachata, modern drive, West Coast Swing, Zook Lambada. And if you've ever done partner dancing, you'll know there's something incredibly beautiful about it. It's super creative and expressive and playful. And it just allows you to move your body in a way that brings out this natural feminine flow. And without realizing it, I was actually reconnecting back with my body's intelligence at the time. I was coming back into sensation, into presence, and back into feeling, which was very much needed. Now, during this time, one of my friends in the dance scene kept messaging me. And every week, for about three weeks in a row, she was inviting me to something called a kundalini activation class. And each time I politely declined. Because when I heard the word kundalini, my mind immediately categorized it as yoga. And I had already decided, no, that's not my thing. So, week one, she invited me, I said no. Week two, she invited me again, I said no. Week three, still no. And looking back now, it's actually hilarious. Because clearly the universe was knocking on my door and was trying to direct me towards the next chapter of my life, but my mental intelligence thought it knew better. I thought I understood what kundalini was because I associated it with kundalini yoga. That's where I'd only ever heard it before, and I had completely misunderstood it. Then one evening, something shifted. So I was at the house of one of my closest friends, the kind of friend who's basically your sister from another mister, and she had just returned from a huge dance congress in Warsaw in Poland. And these events are massive. I'm talking dancers from all over the world gathering together for a weekend, and there's workshops during the day, and there's dancing from like 10 p.m. till 6 a.m. in the mornings with lots of different DJs playing lots of different tunes. So she was at this event and she was telling me about it, and she mentioned something quite interesting that there had been a kundalini session at this congress, and she hadn't gone herself, but she had overheard it because she was staying close by. And she said to me, Look, I don't think this is yoga. She said that she could hear people screaming, shouting, making animal noises, and crying. And she said, I really think you need to meet this girl who runs these sessions. That girl's name is Maria. And little did I know that meeting was about to change my life. Now, this Maria was the same girl who was running the Kundalini activation sessions that my friend had previously tried to invite me to three weeks in a row. Now, that same night we were going out dancing, and my friend told me that Maria would be there. So we arrive at the venue, and suddenly my friend grabs my hand and pulls me across the dance floor. She finds Maria and she puts us together and says, You two need to talk, and then leaves. And suddenly I'm standing face to face with this woman who would later become my business partner and my soul sister and would help me bring some of my biggest dreams into reality. And I remember turning around saying to her, Hi, I've heard so much about you and what you do, but I honestly still don't understand it. Can you try and explain it to me, please? And she started speaking and telling me about this transmission, this energy transmission that she works with. And something happened in my body. It felt like a homecoming. My body began activating, moving spontaneously, jolting involuntarily, almost like it was responding to something I couldn't yet understand. And Maria stepped back slightly and looked at me, quite confused, and was like, wow, you're already activated. And I remember thinking, I guess so. I don't really know what that means. And she said, This is what happens in my sessions. People come to activate this energy, but it's already moving through you, it seems. And in that moment, everything we've spoken about in this episode came online at once. My body intelligence was responding, my emotional intelligence was opening, and my spiritual intelligence, my intuition was loud, letting me know that this is your path. I still remember my first ever Pundanini activation session, and it completely changed the direction of my life. And I know so many people are curious about this work. They see people sharing their experiences and they're left wondering. What does it actually feel like? And the truth is, no two experiences are ever the same. Some people finally cry the tears they've been holding on for years, some experience deep states of bliss, peace, and connection, and some receive insights, clarity, and answers they've been searching for their entire lives. Anything can literally happen, but we do know that the energy always gives you exactly what you need. And that's why we created our online kundalini elevation experiences, a safe and loving space where you can explore this incredible life force energy for yourself. If you've been feeling appalled towards something you can't quite explain, perhaps this is your invitation to explore it. You'll find all the details in the show notes. So I went to my first ever Kundalini activation session with Maria, and on that same day, actually, I had received my Reiki initiation to become a Reiki practitioner too. So energetically, it was already a lot that day. And I arrived at the session so excited because on a soul level, I knew something big was about to happen. But part of me, my mental intelligence, still needed proof. That logical part of my mind was still there. So I lie down in the session, Maria is working around the room, and people are making sounds and noises and having emotional releases and energy is moving. And I'm thinking, what on earth is happening here? But during the first session, nothing crazy actually happened for me. And at least nothing beyond what I was already experiencing in my meditations at the time. And I remember leaving super disappointed. Like, really? Is that it? Because my expectations were so high. And this is why, whenever I now hold sessions as a kundalini facilitator, I always tell the participants, have zero expectations, because the energy always gives you what you need, not necessarily what you want. But at the time, my intuition had felt so certain that this was going to be a pivotal part of my life. But the experience didn't match the story my mind had created around it. So what happened? Well, my mental intelligence jumped straight back in. It tried to dismiss the experience, to minimize it, and to just make sense of it, really. And I remember I went home after that session and I journaled and I was writing about how stupid and silly I felt for thinking this would change my life. But deep down, something still knew this was going to change my life. It was just the process, it wasn't going to happen over one session. My intuition was still there, quietly, steadily guiding me and telling me not to give up and try again. So at the time I lived outside of London. So I actually looked for another facilitator closer to where I lived, and I booked a second session. And this time everything did change. During that session, the energy moved through my body in a way it had never before. And when it reached my throat, something happened. And I began screaming. And I'm not talking about like a fearful scream, but this was like a releasing scream. It felt ancient, like I was releasing something that had been sitting in my body for generations. Like I was screaming for my lineage, like letting go of stored pain, stored emotion, stored trauma. And it was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. And in that moment, I knew that was what I was searching for. And I received a very clear, precise message in that session that I was meant to become a kundalini facilitator. Now remember, this was only after two sessions, but the energy had already been in my body for years. So I went home and told my fiance at the time, and I was buzzing with excitement. And usually he was very supportive, but this time it triggered him. And he was like, What are you talking about? You've just spent thousands becoming a rapid transformational therapist, and now you want to spend thousands doing something else. You're jumping from one thing to another. And again, that was his logical mind speaking. And how do you explain something that isn't from logic? This wasn't a mental experience. This was a spiritual, emotional experience for me. My body knew, my intuition knew, my emotions knew. But to him, it didn't make any logical sense. And this is important because when you begin following your intuition, your path won't always make sense to other people, even the people that are close to you, even people who love you, they will question you because they're trying to logically understand something that isn't coming from the mind. It's coming from your spiritual intelligence or your emotional intelligence or your body's intelligence. So despite the resistance, I knew, I knew this was my path. I felt it so deeply in my body. So I applied for the training. And the training was in Mexico at the time. And the moment I watched the training video, I burst into tears. And these weren't sad tears, these were tears of recognition. My body was saying, yes, this is it. This is what we've been waiting for. And within five days, I was accepted into the training. And a month later, I was on a plane to Mexico. And I remember feeling more alive than I had ever felt before. Because something inside of me knew that I had found my path. And when I look back at that period of my life now, I can see so clearly how all four intelligences were trying to guide me. My mind was trying to protect me. My emotions were showing me what mattered. My body was responding to truth before I could even explain it. And my intuition was quietly leading me the whole time. And the only thing that really changed everything was listening to all of me, every single bit of me. And that's the difference between the humans who are walking around the planet, feeling guided and aligned, versus the ones who are feeling confused. Because when you understand that your mind, your emotions, your body, your intuition are not separate from each other, but they are an ecosystem that are meant to work together in harmony, you can tap into an unlimited amount of potential within you. Now, in the next episode, we're going to take this even deeper because there is a dynamic that sits underneath all of this that influences how these intelligences actually express themselves within you. And by that I'm talking about masculine and feminine energy, and not as genders, but as forces. And when those forces come into balance, we truly become unstoppable.
