SPEAKER_01

Same old shit, though. Same old fucking shit. Same old shit. Different roll of toilet paper. Pretty much. Yeah, man. Just a different ass, man. That's pretty much all we doing, man. You know. Oh yeah. Yeah, man. So I was I was thinking, man. When when did we meet? For the first time. Yeah, when did when was the first time that like me and you met? I think it's a good intro to the pod and shit, too. You know what I'm saying? So give kind of the give the listeners something to, you know. Man, first of all, we cousins, but we met in sixth grade. But I don't know. We met in sixth grade and shit, but I always heard about you. Yeah, facts. So I always heard about you. So for the ones that don't know, obviously, this my cousin, you know what I'm saying? Obviously, you know, we didn't, we weren't as close when we were first coming up. But uh we I think we really officially met in middle school. Like you said, sixth grade sixth grade. We had uh, I don't know if y'all familiar with John Jay Wright, but uh that's a throwback. Yeah, that's a throwback, man. I'm glad I caught the ass in of John J. Wright. John J. Wright was the best school ever. Look, no cameras in there, man. You know what I'm saying? I caught the ass in. I caught the last six months of John J. Wright. Bro, that was the best school of all time.

SPEAKER_02

And I grew up on John Jay Wright. All my cousins went to it. I used to, I used to be in different schools, and them motherfuckers, but they used to talk about John Jay. I'm like, nigga, I want to go to John Jay Wright.

SPEAKER_01

Man, John Jay Wright was the best school, hands down. But I remember we was uh so like this, it was a smaller school and it couldn't really keep up with the population and shit. So they had little trailers outside. Trailers like that. I remember me and uh Joey Van Arsdale. You know what I'm saying? That was shout out to Joey, yo. Yeah, hey, look, special shout out to Joey. That is the funny look, funniest dude ever, man. He literally like he would keep you rolling funny.

SPEAKER_00

I haven't heard from him or seen him. Hey man.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, look, we pray he's doing all right, man. Joey, if you see this, man, shout out to you. You always been a real one, man. But yeah, look, I remember one day uh you came in the classroom, you came into the little trailer looking confused as shit. And I think we knew, like, I don't think we knew, but we didn't know. I think you had heard about me, you know what I'm saying? Like I said, hey, look, I was the it girl, like I say, you know what I'm saying? Hey, look, I was him. I was hell in school. Look, I was always him. So, you know what I'm saying? Show nigga where the classes and shit was at. No, definitely.

SPEAKER_02

You definitely was like the popular, like when I pulled up that motherfucker, you was definitely like one of the most popular first people, man.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think overall, like, and then you know what I'm saying? Like all of our older cousins and shit was there. Like, I was lit before I even got to school because of our older cousins. So, like Tim and Cortez and all of them, man. Like everybody already knew about us before we even got there. You know what I'm saying? Like, so so people people was already anticipating our arrival. People don't exactly. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_02

Same thing with me when I pulled up in that motherfucker. It's like as soon as I got there, like everybody like heard I was coming. Exactly. Like, that's the crazy thing.

SPEAKER_01

Everybody was hype about it, man. Like, I'm like, what the fuck? You know what I'm saying? Because all my family there. So like exactly. And John J. Wright, like I said, it was the school, man. John J. Wright, for real, for real, was was one of the, I feel like that was like the what they call it, the last of the Mohicans. Because after John J. Wright, that's when everything got more structured, everything was more, you know what I'm saying, like super. John J. Wright was back in the day when niggas ain't give a fuck about shit. They didn't know they did it, man. But look, schoolwork and shit got done though. We didn't need all that guidance and shit that kids need today. Like, you know what I'm saying? We knew to get our work done, we knew to show up to class, and it didn't take all the micromanaging from teachers and shit.

SPEAKER_02

You know what I remember from John J. Wright? I remember walking upstairs with CJ Vaughn and CJ motherfucking uh Johnson with them niggas in that bitch fighting.

SPEAKER_01

Them boys in that bitch fighting with we could get stories all day long about John J.

SPEAKER_00

Wright, man.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, that's where that's where uh when me and Ashton like officially like became like best friends that. Somebody literally just asked, just asked, like, how do y'all meet? Yeah, man. That well, they see this, they gonna know how we officially met. And then um, but we is cousins though.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, as cousins.

SPEAKER_01

And the the rest is history with that, man. And then um obviously transitioned from uh middle school to uh high school, and like what was like overall, like what was your high school experience like? Like, like I know, like you know what I'm saying? I I think I know for like the most part, but like what was how did you sum yours up? That shit was a blur, bro. But I had fun. I wish I could have fucking, I wish I could have did more while I was there, but it was a blur. It was a big blur because I was man, I was in the streets, cause I was in the streets. It was a blur, man. But um, I remember always like, you know what I'm telling my people, you all all the boys and shit. You know what I'm saying? What about you? Man, high school for me. What was your how who were you in high school? Like my ass beat in high school. Your ass beat? Who? We ain't gonna talk about that. You know what I'm talking about. You know what I'm talking about. I try to say, look, no, no, no, no, we ain't gonna talk about that. But look, no, for real, like real quick. I say overall, like high school for me was lit, bro. Like, you know what I'm saying? I was you know what I was prime king and shit. You know, I was always, you know what I'm saying? I like I said, I was the it girl, nigga. I was I was him, man. And um, not by choice though. I never, you know what I'm saying? I I was never like trying to be popular. I was never trying to be a jock or whatever. Obviously, you know what I'm saying. I played sports.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I'm in the world, nigga.

SPEAKER_01

You light skinned tall. Hey, look, maybe, but I never um high school was good. I d I never could get behind the school portion of it because I always felt like a lot of that shit was kind of um like I I even feel like today, like school in general, like is a waste of time to a certain extent. You said you couldn't get behind the school kind of. Like the school part of it. I know my my mom used to get mad at me and shit all the time because I would never even really try and still would bring home like good grades and never try to. Who was your GPA? I don't remember that. Don't get me lying on here. So I'm saying though, like, do you know where it was like around or I couldn't tell you, bro. I don't remember. But I know, like I said, I didn't even try in school and I still got good grades, so that's why I said, like, my mother. Yeah, because the motherfucking teachers like Joe. Yeah, yeah. Hey, to this day, I don't know how uh how like me and June had the same Spanish Spanish class. My shout out, June, by the way. Uh I don't know, I don't know how the hell we passed that joy. Miss Um, what was her name? Miss Harold. Hey, look, I know anybody around Frederick's burgers went to Spazley High School and shit like that. Is it Spanish? Yeah, and and y'all know Miss Mr. and Mr. Mr. and Mrs. Harold, man. You think of Spanish? Hey, look, I remember my name was um uh because they made you get a Spanish name when you started. I think I was Pablo. A Spanish name? Yeah, when you walked into class, you had to pick your Spanish, like a Spanish name. Is that even a real thing? A Spanish name? Yeah, nigga, like mine was Pablo, nigga. Like you had to pick your own. Yeah, but if your name is Spanish culture, it's like like think about it.

SPEAKER_02

When you hear the name Tyler, you know that's yeah, but in America, your name is Tyler, and then in Spain or Mexico, your name is Tyler.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but think about it. Like, you got names that are more typically associated with a certain ethnic group. Like a name like Tyler, American, a name like Smart. Yeah, dumbass. But um, but yeah, man, overall school, school, high school was alright for me, man. Like a lot of shit changed. You know, I you know, I worked all through high school too, so I never really did the party and shit. I was trapping, nigga. I I would never come to school, and I ain't gonna lie, I regret it so much, man.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like I was left out, man, because like, you know what I'm saying? I like all my teachers loved me, they like me or whatever. Like, like I was cool. I mean, I was everybody gossiped about me, of course, but I I I really regret motherfucking missing out on school, like talking about research. Nah, they nah like I mean that's real though.

SPEAKER_01

Like, you know what I'm saying? I think everybody got a got a story about if they could go back what they wish they could do differently.

SPEAKER_02

No, I just wish I just wish I'd have did it like how I was supposed to. Nigga, I just bullshit and just was in the street and shit. But that's neither here nor there.

SPEAKER_01

No bullshit, man. Um shit, man. I got a couple questions though. Oh, what's up? I got a couple questions for you. I've been saving these in my books too.

SPEAKER_00

It was good. But I wanted to ask you. Just random shit. Alright, man. Um I I I actually wanted to ask you this shit. When is when when is it a good time to cut people off?

SPEAKER_01

As soon as you feel it's needed, feel though it's needed. What I mean by that is I don't think there's ever a a wrong time to cut somebody off. What I mean by that is if somebody do some house shit or something that you don't like, you don't need an you don't owe nobody an explanation of when or or when or why you cut somebody off. If you feel that it's necessary to cut somebody off, whether it's the move indifferent, it whether it's you know what I'm saying, y'all life don't align, whether it's you know, you feel like you've outgrown that person. It's never a right or wrong time to cut somebody off. It's whenever the fuck you feel that is necessary. For sure. And I mean, for me, that's you know what I'm saying, I don't need a reason to cut you off. About saying you don't need no reason for that nigga. You know what I'm saying? Like a nigga sneeze wrong. He's gonna be a big thing. You know, I could hey look, she gone, he gone. Hey, you know, I don't, you know, I'm at that point now in life where if you not helping me build or I think friends are great, and I think it's dope to have people that you can rely on, but you also at this age, you gotta look at your friends as well. Nah, we're done with that shit, nigga. We done with that shit. Nah, like you gotta look at your friends as assets, too.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

We're not kids no more. That's why I said, like, you gotta look at your friends as assets. Like, what are you, you know what I'm saying? What do I get from being cool with you? What do I get from having you or my life? If it's nothing, like yeah, you know what I'm saying? When I you know, want to hang out or have a good time, like you can be fun, you know what I'm saying? But if you if you're not bringing nothing to my life, whether it's joy or I can get some sort of guidance, something from you, it ain't worth having. But I mean, that's my take on it. Everybody's view is different. So, like, what is taking and taking, take, take. Like, what is what's your view?

SPEAKER_02

You I mean, you asked the question, like man, I motherfucker cut a motherfucker off and a drop of a dime, nigga. That's right.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, shit, I ain't gonna lie, right now I do that, but my whole life, bro, I've been so forgiving, bro. I've been so forgiving, bro. My whole life. I've been so forgiving, bro. But see, that's what's wrong because I'm too old. Look, givers don't know when to, you know what I'm saying? Givers gonna always give, but takers don't have any type of, they don't know when to tie when to stop taking. You know what I'm saying? As long as you're gonna be a giver, somebody out there gonna keep fucking taking. That's just the that's the name of the game. So you're lying, though. And it's nothing, and it's not the taker's fault. Because that's just like if I feed a straight dog, you know what I'm saying, and he keeps coming back. That's my fault. I fed him. I can't get mad he's coming back where he's getting fed. You can put bullets on his ass. Yeah, you get the dog up out of here. But nah, like takers don't uh they don't know when to stop taking. And it's not their fault. You're the problem because you're allowing them to take. By nature, I'm soft-hearted. You a soft ass nigga, but look, um, that's the thing, like, that's the beauty of it. You know what I'm saying? You know the difference now. Yeah, but nah, seriously though, seriously. No, I was serious. But um, but yeah, that's good that at least now at this point you know that uh that you gotta you gotta stop being like that, man. Nah, seriously, I ain't gonna lie though, but to capitalize off of that, I'm so forgiving with that shit, but as I get as I get older, bro, I'm just like fuck you, bitch. Yeah. And it's nothing wrong with that. I think more people need to see look, I feel like as a society, bro, we are so I feel like society has gotten it's so damn soft now. Like, like a a person cannot like you, right? And most people, you know what I'm saying, if you tell me, yo, that dude across the street, he don't like you. You know what I'm saying? Most people now they want to know why he don't like you. Some people want to go across the street and ask that dude why, why don't you like me? The people want to be liked. And that's like that that like they can't fathom the fact of somebody not liking you. Me, I don't give a fuck if you like me. I don't care. I I know I used to be like that.

SPEAKER_02

I used to be like that. I wanna I used to want to impress motherfuckers.

SPEAKER_01

I wanted to be like, yeah, but I've never no more. I've never cared about being like, and I think which is strange because even some of my friends, like you know saying my closest friends, my female friends, you, like all of y'all who at people that actually know me, a lot of people say like I'm an asshole, right? You know what I'm saying? And that's just because look, this is this is You a good asshole though. But look, you a good asshole though. But the this is the this is the problem I have, but not that I have a problem with it, but I don't view it's being an asshole because you just cut it straight straight to the point. I get the same shit sometimes. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't think that that's being an asshole because like if you tell me, you know what I'm saying. You say tolerating shit. Yeah, I don't tolerate shit, but also I'm just blunt and I'm straightforward.

SPEAKER_02

And if you that you ain't gonna never even be around that person again or whatever that situation you get.

SPEAKER_01

That goes for this podcast too. Look, anybody, any guest that comes on this on the podcast, look, I'm a straight shooter. It's no disrespect or nothing. So even sometimes things may come off as in a disrespectful manner, or or you know, it's no disrespect manner. I'm just gonna get ready. Hey, look, we just hey look, facts and foolishness, man. We just we cutthroat around here, we just give facts. We just we some people rather be comforted by a lie versus hurt by the truth. And I'm the I'm a hurt by the truth type of guy. But the crazy thing is people will say, like, yo, Tyler, you an asshole or you or whatever, but they never leave. Because I may have hurt your feelings when I told you what I told you, how I told you, but when you go home, you like, damn, I ain't like the way he said that shit. But that nigga was telling the truth. That's my that's my whole thing. Like, like it ain't it's never what I say, it's how I say it. It's how you say it. Like, and people always say it's a tone thing a little bit. They say it's a tone thing, but it I don't think that shit ever matter, bro. Like, I don't, you know what I'm saying? It's a time and a place, but just because that's like somebody asked me, yo, does this dress make me look fat? And I say, Yeah, do you know what I'm saying? That you asked the question, I just answered it, but I didn't answer it till you're like it.

SPEAKER_00

That's actually around my next question. That's right. Is it okay not to have morals? Um not to have morals.

SPEAKER_01

Man, that's a hard question because that's like a weighted question.

SPEAKER_00

Because niggas be like, oh, I got morals, nigga. I'm not doing this, I'm not doing that, I'm not gonna be like this, I'm not gonna do this, I'm not gonna say that. I'm not gonna do that. Is it okay not to have morals?

SPEAKER_01

I feel like it's a yes and a no. The reason why I say that is because you know what I'm saying. Yes, it's okay to not have morals because ultimately you doing whatever the fuck it is you want to do. Then I also say, no, it's not good to not have more morals. Then it's like, it's not okay to not have morals because that means you ain't got no, you know what I'm saying? You don't have no type of dignity, no type of decorum, no type of, damn, that was a thousand dollar word. I've never heard that word myself. No type of, yeah, you ain't got no type of decorum. That's a real word.

SPEAKER_02

That's not a real world word.

SPEAKER_01

I swear to God, hey, look, it's a real world word, nigga. Decorum. Decorate decorum, nigga. It's basically like you don't know how to act, like you don't have no type of composure, no type of, you know what I'm saying? Okay. So I feel like it's yes and a no.

SPEAKER_00

It is yes and a no. It's yes and a no.

SPEAKER_01

And I feel like depending on who you what you're doing, some people will be like, oh, you know what I'm saying, like a bitch that do OnlyFans. That's that she ain't got no morals. You know what I'm saying? In her mind, it's she don't even want to do this shit, but she doing what she feels she gotta do to get the money. You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, there's other options, but some people, but some people need their money right then and there. That's a quick way to get a dollar. And some people from the outside looking in is like, oh, she ain't got no morals. But from her, it's like, I don't even want to do this. Like, I do have morals, but I'm doing what I gotta do. I ain't saying that I support the OnlyFans people. I ain't saying that I don't support, I don't support them. I ain't saying I do support them. It is what it is, it is what it is, exactly. So circumstances are everywhere. Yeah, that's a that's kind of a weighted question. I don't think that there's a a yes or no answer. That's why I asked you that.

SPEAKER_00

But in my opinion, like, you know, like everybody's like, I feel like everybody grew up on morals.

SPEAKER_01

Everybody grew up on morals and shit. But um you but that's the that's values too. Like, I'm the same thing. It's values. Yeah, that's how I'm looking. That's the way I look at it. So that's how I look at it. But we from the country though. Everybody know niggas from the country got different types of values. And then you got the hood shit. Like niggas in the hood don't got no motherfucking morals. No, they ain't got no morals. Like, you know, they had like you got niggas from shoot from Chicago that I have a shootout with kids around. I mean me, like me personally, like I grew up with morals. I ain't gonna lie, I did grow up morals. I always grew up, you grew up in the country.

SPEAKER_02

But as I got older, as I got older, I realized that them mothers ain't got no morals for me, cuz. Yeah, ain't no morals for me. Yeah, so I started doing what they was doing, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01

I ain't had no morals, and that don't make it right though. It don't make it right, it don't make it right at all. At the same time, like then I got a little bit older. Life made me. Like, I don't say I'm trying to be a better person. Yeah, don't make me go back. But see, look, don't make me go back. Look, that's a crazy transition. Don't make me go back, baby. Look, that's a crazy, a crazy transition because that tells me right there, like, you know how you just said life, you know what I'm saying, taught you like life teaches you shit, right? No, it's not about, you know, saying, would you agree with the fact that like, you know, people become who they are because of life? Yeah, life teaches you certain things. All right, so with that being said, we can both agree that zodiac signs are bullshit. I mean, yeah, I mean, I never really thought they they were a fact. Look, people, I'm gonna tell you right now, bro. Because it made me think about it because I've always had this argument in my head. No, it's not real. It's not real. But people that believe in zodiac signs are I wanna I want to look right into it. I want to look right into it when I say this, because you got people that are so heavy into it. And look, if you believe in it, cool, believe in it or whatever. But you want people to believe that the day you was born, and if the sun was risen in the whatever side, it went moon and went down over here, and you was born at 6 30. And yeah, all this bullshit that that's why that's not true, and that's why you are the way you are. Fuck the fact that you grew up in poverty and you became a hard worker because you never want to go back to poverty, not because I'm a Sagittarius, that's why I became that. Oh god, bro. Like, come like if people don't realize how crazy you sound. It's like fuck the fact that I went through life and life taught me these hard lessons. You want me to believe that this is, you know what I'm saying? I'm this way because I'm a Leo, I'm this way because I'm a I'm a uh uh a cancer, or I'm man, what you are is an idiot. But look, it's I know we got off topic right there for a second, but it made me think about it because you know saying some people don't realize, like, I feel like people want to believe in it. People want to believe in zodiac so bad. No, it's not believing it, but it's not true. That's like, all right, people would be like, oh, because you're and I don't know if it's true or not. I don't follow the read a motherfucking junk.

SPEAKER_02

I could read a motherfucking junk, it'd be like, uh, yeah, you act like this because of this, because of that.

SPEAKER_00

It's a motherfucking Capricorn.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and I'm like, nigga, that's how I feel. Bro, I used to do that in school. I would tell people, be like, be like, who do you what do you think I am based off of based off of how I act how I act and shit like that? Oh, you're definitely you're dead, you say you definitely are a cancer. I was like, how'd you know that? That's crazy because I'm a sad. You asked them that? Yeah, I would tell them like I would ask them like, what do you think I was based off of who I offer how I act? Oh, you definitely you act like a cancer. So you act like this, I'll be like, damn, you're totally not right. I'm a Sagittarius.

SPEAKER_02

So they're agreeing with you.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, be agreeing with you in the whole time. You sound stupid and shit, because it's not even, but yeah, we got off topic for a second.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, man, look, I got one more question, man. One more question, bro. Hey not, serious.

SPEAKER_02

What's your favorite thing to do, man? What's your vibe? My favorite thing to do. What's your favorite thing to do? Like, you know, like what's your vibe, man? Like, what's your what's your comfort zone, you know? Like in your free time when you ain't around everybody, your comfort. What season are we in? Man, we we a winner. We ain't a winner. And I'm not even talking about a physical activity. I'm just saying, like, when you're not around your friends, when you're not around, you know what I'm saying, your woman, you, your, your, your mom, your dad, your cousin, whatever. When you're not around, what do you like to do?

SPEAKER_00

When you're by yourself, what do you like to do?

SPEAKER_01

Oh shit. Um, seriously don't. I think what do I like to do? See that as simple as a question that is, that's hard for me to answer because it's so easy for me. I work so much. And it's like I'm always trying to get to a dollar, bro. I don't care what it is. You know me. Like, whether I'm podding, whether I'm actually working my my normal job with the government, whether I'm, you know what I'm saying. Whatever it is, I want to make a dollar, bro. Like, I have fun when I'm making money, even if it's something I don't want to do. Like, y'all know uh I got a detailing business as well. Hey, look, shout out Diamond Detailing. Um so it's like anything doing to make money, like if I'm not doing that, like I'm watching some sort of like motivational shit. Like, you know what I'm saying? Big shout out to Andrew Tate. I'm an Andrew Tate fan. Um, so like any, like I I look I look for ways to make money too. Like, I want to learn shit. That's why I love being in rooms.

SPEAKER_00

So that's what you do in your downtime?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I like to Nigga, are you ever fucking tired? Um I I don't think that most people have the luxury to be tired. Damn, I'm tired all the fucking you can be tired, but it's like I can be tired, but I still gotta get to the bag. You know what I'm saying? Like, I like that's just how I am, bro. Like, I don't ever want like all I I think about money in my family. Like that that's it. You know what I'm saying? Like, I want I want I want that money, man. Like that's that thing a go. Bruh, you know me, I got my finger in absolute everything, bro. Everything from all load of shit from you already been a whole a hustler, bro. Yeah, you already been a hustler, no matter what. I use my this podcast, I use my tech background to be able to do this. So many people want to be podcasters and do this shit and start to do it and realize, bruh, so much shit goes into this, and they they give up on it because they don't want to educate themselves on how to do certain shit. Like whether it's the audio, whether it's the video, you know, your lighting. You'll never be able to do this shit. Nah, man. You can't say you never would be able to do this. Nigga, my mind don't work like that. Like, nigga, I'm not no tech savvy person. You ain't gotta be. You just gotta start doing it. So you've been working with computers for a long time, man.
