I'm not even that, I'm an actual fucking like I actually listened to this shit, but Kendrick was dominating Drake with the shit, and the culture was behind him, but yeah, because he was doing a lot of so it wasn't just about the music. I think the culture got behind them based off of more so like his let's take his Super Bowl performance. You know what I'm saying? It was a lot of subliminal messages in there for black culture. It wasn't just the music, yeah. You know what I'm saying? So he took something, I feel like he more so used Drake's name to make to kind of get his message through more clear. But you know, I mean it worked for him, you know. Guess it resonated though, but I ain't gonna lie. Last fucking summer, that motherfucker Kendrick was dominating everything as far as Drake. Yeah, he was. He did. And I got it. We're not taking the I mean, I'm not taking nothing away from Drake. Drake is one of my favorite artists. It just didn't go well for him last summer. I mean Yeah, it didn't. I mean, the the new album, the Iceman. But them niggas, they literally had to assemble the uh Avengers to try to take him down. Who was the Avengers? Like everybody teamed up against him, bro. You know how you know you had you had uh obviously you had Kendrick, even Future went against him, but they're back on the album some kind of way, which is kind of crazy. That's why that's how you know they didn't go against each other. It was just some little shit that people misconstrued. Like motherfucker, low-level motherfuckers misconstrued. But even you had Ross that went up against the Raws, yeah, just went against them, and that's why he was like, even in his album, he called a lot of them niggas out by name. Even your boy, you got on his jersey. He even called out LeBron in his jersey. He said, Stop asking me about what's going on with 23 and me. I'm a real nigga and he's not. Hey, really. That nigga LeBron looks at Drake as a kid, bro. Yeah, for sure. But that's beside the fact uh what we was talking about was the Kendrick and Drake beef. Uh, Drake and Kendrick, well, Kendrick did get the best of him last summer. He did. But this nigga Drake with this Iceman album. Vengeance, bro. This this Iceman album is amazing. It is, bro. And it's pretty good. The Iceman album, he dropped two other albums, too. So he dropped a total of three albums, which And that shit stretched across the whole globe. Yeah, bro. Bigger than anybody. He broke, he broke some of Jackson's uh records, bro. Right. Some of Michael Jackson's records was just carrying the rap game for all these years, man. Y'all niggas gotta catch up. And I see the way he's taken away from nothing, but I ain't gonna lie, when Kendrick dropped that shit last summer, I was rocking with Kendrick, and like it ain't no, it ain't no like I'm a fan. Like, I love Drake. I love Kendrick. Yeah. At the time, Kendrick was fucking dominating the situation. Yeah. And uh now Drake is back. You guys can't get behind Kendrick. You can't stop Drake. I can't get behind Kendrick for the simple fact, like his best music. I feel like came from that beef. Oh, for sure. Not his best music, but somebody. I feel like I can go to anybody and be like, yo, give me your top three Kendrick songs. And nobody can do it. I can do it all day long. Give me three Kendrick songs. Money Trees, fucking uh uh. See? Exactly. Niggas, you take me away. But that doesn't mean I don't listen to Kendrick. Give me three Drake songs anytime, any album, doesn't matter what it is. Well the season was good, but I already knew I always I mean I would I wouldn't even watch my favorite player LeBron play. I would go to a Spurs game. But um, man, the fucking uh the Spurs is balling, man. Fucking OKC is balling. Uh it ended up coming to a game seven. What do you think about the flopping with OKC, bro? And what's your opinion on that? And for the ones that don't know, the ghetto prom is is very big in the south and Florida states and Atlanta, and that's where for like uh senior proms, you know, a lot of the I'll say black culture because it's mainly the black culture that uh they spend an obscene amount of money on renting, you know, exotic cars and all of that shit for prom. That's crazy. That's crazy. What is your what is your opinion on it? Like, man, my opinion, I I love the black prom or the ghetto prom. I don't care white folk coming, Mexican, Chinese, whoever. I like the whole thing of the the the what's it called? Ghetto prom? That's what they that's the name. I like the ghetto prom. But when you get to written motherfucking uh fucking Lamborghinis and shit. So you're saying, you're basically saying that you like the fact of seeing young folks get dressed up, get clean, and stuff like that, but you want you you're saying it's cool to do it within reason. Yeah, once you start fucking uh what's the mu once you start fucking renting the ureses and shit? Yeah. That's too much, bro. Come on, bro. Your fucking mortgage is due next fucking month. Yeah, like I mean, next month. You can take this back to like when we were in school. What happened to the good day, good old days? Like when you twist it. I'd love to see a black young motherfucker get dressed up fresh, fly, getting right, you know what I'm saying? But this is one of those things you have to live after prom. A lot of these people are spending crazy amount of money. And that's where I will say there's a difference. And that's where I say there's a big drawback between we're not renting out no fucking foreign cars for you to be fly for one night. Yeah. You couldn't. If you got it, you got it. If you got it, you got it. Yeah, it's definitely a difference between, I think, black and white culture in that sense. Because why is it that in our culture, in black culture, it's prom and baby showers. You know what? That is the main. And then you got white culture where they're taking that same money that black folk done put in for prom and they're putting it in a trust fund for their kids. And that's crazy. That's the smarter part to do. But you know why people black folk do that? They want to be flashy. Because we know we always want to be flashy from back in the slave days. Does that matter? Does that matter to try to be flashy when it's like, okay, we're showing out for this one day, but after prom, that car gotta go back. That tux that you rented. That tux that you rent it gotta go back. I can take the tux going back. I'm not fucking renting a car and gotta take it back, especially a fucking Urist or a fucking Maybach or now I gotta hop back in. So you graduate, do it. You graduate, you go to prom or whatever, and now you going back to, and I I'm not saying, you know, specifically, but you you graduate and then you know say you and your your Volkswagen go into your McDonald's job the next day. Yeah. Like it's just I think it's wild. My mama would have did that shit. I'm like, Mama. Well, first of all, all people, our our parents and the way we came up, like we they got common sense. Like we have, we grew up and but we can we can be clean. There's nothing wrong with being clean. My mom do be trying to do that shit. But ain't no point in fucking trying to fucking rent a Urus for the fucking night. Yeah. You know how much that costs? Bro, it's too much, man. And we gotta get with the program. And like, it's a lot of things that we need to get better as a community. Like, instead of taking that money and then and it's always prom and like I said, baby shower. If you can afford it, please do it. Yeah, no, no, no, no, no. Exactly. And let's clarify, I'm not talking about the people that live this life every day. If you are not talking about if this is the life that you or your parents live, there's nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with that. I'm talking about the ones that bring up or they'll have a they'll have a Range Rover or G-Wagon in front of the projects. So we know you living in the projects. You got a car, you know what I'm saying? That's the part that I'm saying is a little crazy. What is that shit called? Black Black Fatity. Black Fatinity. Yeah, man. I'll be sitting there, I'll be scrolling, I'll be like, bro, what are we doing, bro? But you know, it comes from back in the day, man. We want to be, we never had shit. I think it is beautiful to see y'all turn up and have a great time, get clean and stuff like that. But you can get clean. First of all, we know you can't afford that motherfucker. But what about when back in the day, look, prime and homecoming and shit? Niggas would get clean look and post up on the Hondas on the Acaras. What's normal? That's exactly. But we ain't trying to front. Nigga, you go to Sponia High. We know goddamn well y'all ain't driving no fucking Maybax and no Uruses, man.
