Planted In Purpose: A Kingdom Building Podcast
Planted in Purpose is a Scripture-centered podcast rooted in Psalm 1:3 that we would be like trees planted by the rivers of water, bearing fruit in our season and grounded in Ephesians 2:10, which reminds us that we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good works prepared in advance for us to walk in.
This podcast exists to remind women of faith that they are not accidental, delayed, or overlooked but intentionally formed, positioned, and called by God for Kingdom purpose.
Hosted by Sheri Neely, Planted in Purpose is a space for women who desire deeper intimacy with God, spiritual clarity, and the confidence to walk in obedience. Through biblical teaching, testimony, prayer, and conversations with women of faith, Sheri explores what it truly means to be planted by God formed in hidden seasons, protected through spiritual warfare, and positioned for divine assignment.
Each episode equips women to mature spiritually, sharpen their discernment, and step fully into their identity as daughters entrusted with Kingdom influence.
This podcast is for the woman who senses God calling her deeper but needs clarity for her next step. It is also for the woman who has been faithful in obedience and simply needs renewed strength to keep going.
Here, you will find:
• Encouragement anchored in Scripture
• Prayer and declarations

Episode 3: Taking Every Thought Captive
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Our thought life is one of the most important spiritual battlegrounds we face.
Many women love God deeply, yet still struggle with thoughts that bring confusion, fear, condemnation, or distraction. But Scripture teaches us that not every thought that enters our mind deserves our attention or our agreement.
In this episode of Planted in Purpose: A Kingdom Building Podcast, we explore what the Bible teaches about guarding our minds and learning how to respond when harmful thoughts appear.
Drawing from Philippians 4:8, 2 Corinthians 10:5, and the example of Jesus in Matthew 4, we discuss how believers can learn to recognize thoughts that do not come from God and how to replace them with truth.
We also talk about the discipline of renewing the mind, the importance of remaining rooted in prayer and Scripture, and the freedom that comes from aligning our thoughts with the Word of God.
This episode will encourage you to stop entertaining thoughts that do not belong to you and begin walking in the clarity and peace God desires for His people.
Because when our minds are rooted in truth, our lives begin to reflect the Kingdom.
In This Episode
• Why our thought life matters spiritually
• What Philippians 4:8 teaches about guarding the mind

• What it means to “take every thought captive” (2 Corinthians 10:5)
