In Episode 8 of Da E.D.I.T Podcast, we recap our experiences around Atlanta’s 404 Day events, Easter weekend vibes, and our time at the Panda Food Festival over at Atlantic Station. We also get into the Pooshiesty and Gucci Mane situation, highlight Jazzy’s new music project, and tap into more culture talk along the way. Even with a few technical difficulties during the recording, we pushed through and still delivered a great conversation packed with laughs, real opinions, and more content on the way.
Oh, you gotta zoom it out a little bit more, man. You gotta show um you gotta show some of the chat some of the drop shoulder. Nah, nah, it's all good. You gotta show some of the drop shoulder. They'll see it on Insta. Oh, yo, listen. Um What's up, fellas? What's going on? Yo, before I introduce introduce it, before we get into it, before we get into the the teens. Yeah. Um What up, Dirty? Oh, what's up? Yo, listen.
SPEAKER_02Hey, man, still asleep.
SPEAKER_04Yo, he he wearing one of my favorite um pieces I've seen him purchase recently. Break it down. Um he's wearing a cropped hoodie with a drop shoulder. Um, it has the fabric is structured. Um, it looks like dry fit, sort of. Um, but it's nice, man. And it has um the inside of it, what a zipper is, it's not just raw zipper tape. Yeah, it's actually hidden. It has uh um a bias binding to it. So it's really clean on the inside. Um, that's tough, bro. I want one of them. And he got the chest out too. Yo, listen, yo, listen. Yo, it's it's summer. It's literally summer for real. The first time I saw him wear it, the first time, the very first time I saw him wear it, uh-huh. He um he had a he was wearing a little a little sassy. He had the little shoulders kind of down a little bit. He had it like off-shouldered.
SPEAKER_02That man, that man was taking the walking shape. That was the walking shape out for right there.
SPEAKER_04Yo, man, yo, KP, man. Give it up.
SPEAKER_02This is the type of energy I like from it.
SPEAKER_04Yo, give it up the caper, y'all. He gotta he got it all. This is pretty good. Yo, listen, and he got a double zipper. He can zip it down from the top, he can zip it up from the bottom. Come on, man.
SPEAKER_02Like formal. Come on, let me get some stock party on the outside.
SPEAKER_04Yo, then he got the hair all he got the hair up under the thing. Yeah, you know what, it's like a stocking or something?
SPEAKER_02You look uncomfortable with that word glazing you. Are you okay? Hey, that stocking kind of fired.
SPEAKER_04Did you just take it out the packet? That's a new? No. Oh, okay. It don't get no lit. Ain't no lint on it. Oh nothing.
SPEAKER_02We gotta be careful, bro. What's up? Talk to me. His people are gonna beat us up if we keep making it. Oh, you brought up. We gotta chill out. We gotta chill out. Listen, mama KP, we love you. Yo, yo, we love you. We appreciate you, your son. He's our brother. Have you met his mom before? I I actually I have briefly, one time.
SPEAKER_03Briefly?
SPEAKER_02One time I okay. Uh oh, dang Norris.
SPEAKER_03Norris met my mom in person before you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I met her all. His question was. He didn't ask, did I meet her before him? I just met her. Yeah, yeah, it's not another comp not a commentary. He met he met my mom before you did.
SPEAKER_04Okay. No, no, the only reason why I said is because uh what'd you say, baby? What'd you say? Dang, what you said? Yo, so tell it. Yo, check this out. I had met his mom when I um I had pulled up to go help him move in, right? And I ain't gonna lie, man. Yo, shout out to KP and his family, bro. Like I, yo, they family came together, bro, to move uh his sister damn breath. I'm talking about mom, pops, uncles, like it was like it was a group of them, right? You know what I'm saying? And um, I met his mom, she was super nice, super sweet. Um, but KP had told us that that clip that we had, um was it Spike Lee. Was it Spike Lee? Yeah, and I kind of interrupted, was like, nah, I think that was my hug that he had took from, you know what I'm saying? He said his mom watched it, it was like, yo, I want to, I wanted to cuss them out or slap them or something like that. No, no, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_03That was my mama. Who that was? That was my grandma.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that was oh no, that was the grandma. Oh, I didn't meet the grandma. Dang, take it tell her, tell him we apologize, bro. We didn't mean to love, please. Yo, yeah, all the love, man. But uh, but yeah, but his family hang tight, bro. Like Cleveland in the building, you know what I'm saying? Go ahead and get a gunshot for KP and the fam. You know what I'm saying? Like, damn, he talked, they talk a little too greasy about you know what I'm saying, about about their star, about their star player. How was y'all weekend, man? How was y'all week?
SPEAKER_03What was y'all doing?
SPEAKER_02It was it was an eventful one. Yeah, Shorsky. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, shout out to Band Lab. Did a dope collab with Band Lab. Okay, okay. They had something called Pastor Ux. I pulled up, did some trivia with um with Band Lab and connected with a lot of dope uh uh you know rising artists in the city, yeah. Some that are outside the city that came to Atlanta for the event. So it was a dope collab, many more on the way with Weeso and Band Lab.
SPEAKER_04So this is an ongoing situation, We so real wide, yeah.
SPEAKER_02With that, that's that's the plan.
SPEAKER_04You're gonna be passing the mic?
SPEAKER_02Passing the mic for sure. Yo, that's lit.
SPEAKER_04Give it up. Y'all like that. I like that.
SPEAKER_02You know what I'm saying? And then the Jazzy event as well. Jazzy came to the city. Shout out to Jazzy, she's an amazing artist. Sheesh. She came to the city. Um, we did an interview for Hip Hop Wire, which is on the way um later that night. She had the listening party. A lot of people, so I was talking to someone and they were like, Did you mention uh Diddy during your interview with her? And I was like, I mean, no, I got a great relationship with Jazzy. I'm not trying to there's certain people that it's not even worth uh burning that bridge. I truly feel and I told you this off camera. I truly believe she's the next Missy Elliott. So there's no need to burn that bridge for a viral moment.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you know, so and then later, but if someone what to ask you, right? What would you ask? What would you have have asked?
SPEAKER_02That's something I would say off camera. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? But nah, I didn't, I just didn't want to burn that bridge. But I kept bumping into Jazzy that whole night. We went to the listening party, and then later that night I was at Magic City, and then I seen her. She came up to me, gave me a hug. She said, I lay it, twin.
SPEAKER_04Hold on, hold on, hold on. You would have hold on, you went to Magic City? I went to Magic. Hello, where was this?
SPEAKER_02This was that same night. It was a little bit more.
SPEAKER_04You solo?
SPEAKER_02You went you went to the shout out to Holiday, okay. Incognito, everyone. We were we were all at um the bowling event that they had for Holland Summer 9. And then I mean me and my boy Tylee. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And there was like one other person, I forgot who it was.
SPEAKER_04Shout out to Tylee. I hope you'll be on the show real soon.
SPEAKER_02I can't wait to breath. I can't wait to breathe. So we go, we start going, we're running around somewhere else. And guess who texts me to let me know they're at magic? Who that?
SPEAKER_04Who that?
SPEAKER_02Paige. Paige texted me and say, yo, we're at magic, pull up. So then I pulled up.
SPEAKER_04Yo, this episode has really been working us.
SPEAKER_02It's all good.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so go ahead, go ahead. No, for real.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's just great vibes. You know, we was in there eating some good food.
SPEAKER_03Did you bag anything?
SPEAKER_02Nah, I didn't. I was just I was having a good time. We were so everyone left at like two in the morning. But me and Tylee, we just ended up just kicking it, staying. Um, so when Holiday and Deuce and all these people left, they left a whole river of ones under me and Tyleek and just left us in the section by ourselves. So it looked like me and him threw everything. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So everyone's coming up to us, hugging us, saying thank you. And I'm like, you're welcome. No, you know, you didn't do that. I threw a little something, but it wasn't to the magnitude that everyone else did. So it looked wild. It looked like man.
SPEAKER_03It was like when I stole Norris' Spike Lee hug.
SPEAKER_02Exactly, exactly. But we're not gonna even say that. Yeah, please don't mention that, man.
SPEAKER_04I don't want grandma coming from my hair, bro. No, for real.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it was a good time though, man.
SPEAKER_04That was up. That was up, man. Well, I guess I guess this would be a perfect time to introduce the podcast. Yeah, but is this what is it? Episode eight? Yeah, we ate up? Sirsky. Hey, um welcome back to another episode of the edit podcast, where we bring you entertainment, design, influence, and taste. What up, fellas? How y'all doing? How y'all doing? How y'all doing? That's good, right? This was a good weekend. It's a great weekend to be in Atlanta. Yo, it's still the weekend. Four before.
SPEAKER_03But how was it being in Orlando? Not being in Atlanta.
SPEAKER_04Oh, last week. Man, Orlando was good, man. Weather was nice. You know what I'm saying? Working with um, you know, saying a decent client, um, working, being busy.
SPEAKER_03Why was they just decent?
SPEAKER_04Uh huh.
SPEAKER_03It was just decent.
SPEAKER_04Oh, it's just conversational, you know. It don't really mean, you know, it's not like a scale of level or something like that. Um, but uh, but yeah, yo, it was good, man. I was uh busy, had a little downtime, got some work done. Yeah, and um we bite. We bite. We bite, we bite great time, man. Yeah, that's good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Um uh we so so fellas, we uh we did the rollout. Yeah, the hard launch. Yo, shout out to uh Jay Chris. Sure. Yo, Jay Chris, you you definitely need to go um to uh Tyler Perra Studios with one of those um signs, one of those signs. Hey, hey, sign me, yeah, you know, do something like that because broken act.
SPEAKER_02But he gotta have the the shisting all while he got the sign. Yo, he's broken act for real. That was hilarious. Yeah, it was funny. And when he smacked KP too, that looks so realistic. It looks so realistic. Y'all know what sound effect you use, bro. And shout out, of course, shout out to KP for his editing.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you went crazy, man. Yeah, you definitely went crazy on that. So, so how y'all feel, man, now that we officially did the heart launch, we're not just clipping up clips and just throwing it out there on the internet. No, like we let people know, hey, look, this is advertisement. We this is what we're doing. How y'all feel?
SPEAKER_03I feel good, man. Like I feel like um, I feel like even before the uh promo and stuff like that, like we were just doing amazing. You know what I'm saying? And just the the short uh short form content and stuff like that, people like love it. You know what I'm saying? But just adding that, just you know, the uh the skit added character, yeah, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It just shows like how we can get loose. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01Wait, what? We can get loose.
SPEAKER_03Boy, you sound like you're talking in slow motion, boy. We we we can be vulnerable, yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, just have fun.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. How you feel? How you feel? It feels good. I felt like we were loud on 21 Savage. Everyone knew we were in a relationship, but they ain't really know for real. So when we put that out, that was the hard launch. Yeah, yeah. We've gotten so many conversations.
SPEAKER_04That's a um that's a funny um analogy. Analogy, but but I'm gonna let I'm gonna let it Ryan go ahead.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so it's like but not us dating, I'm saying like the podcast being a thing that people kind of knew but didn't know what it was exactly. So when we did put that announcement out, it made it made it make sense and everything. So I'm excited. We gotta just hit him, hit him where it hurts, man, because we got so much content in the vault. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um ideas and all that. So I'm I'm excited, man. I'm very, very excited.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah, man. So um what's up? Let's get into it, man. We'll we want to tap into this weekend.
SPEAKER_02404 day.
SPEAKER_04404. Actually, we still in the weekend. We were actually recording this on Easter. It's Sunday. Shout out, you know, so we'll it'll probably be uploaded tonight or tomorrow. You know what I'm saying? But um it's Easter Sunday. Um four or four-day weekend. Amazing. What else?
SPEAKER_02Four or four-day weekend.
SPEAKER_04Yo, it was a lot going on this week. Yeah, it was a lot going on this particular weekend. Over at um Atlantic Station, they had uh the panda, the the panda market. What's the name of it, baby? Is it the panda market? Yeah, oh, yeah, some kind of panda food festival. It was uh brave it was dope.
SPEAKER_02Is that like Chinese food or what is it?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like a whole bunch of Asian um food, man. They had um, I think it went with Japanese, right? They had Japanese food, Korean, Japanese, and so they had pop stickers. Um they had pop stickers, uh, which was terrible. That was terrible. Yeah. Oh my god, that was terrible. Um, but we had um we had shrimp, yeah, uh tempura, that was amazing. We had um the teriyaki chicken and fried rice was amazing. And you so we was we had we didn't have a debate, but we we had a couple of questions because I we didn't know if it was cultural appropriation or not. So um they had these little samurai hats that you could buy, and they had the little the little Asian umbrellas that they were in the um in the daytime to block the sun. Oh that's bruh, but listen, bro, listen. We went, I bought one. I should I should bring it. I'm gonna let y'all see it.
SPEAKER_03There, it's right there.
SPEAKER_04She just she just oh yeah, that's the umbrella. And then we had um, and then I bought the samurai hat.
SPEAKER_03Oh, the hat.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and um we was walking around the festival. I saw it because a bunch of people had bought them, and I was like, damn, that's dope. And it helped block the sun too. Yeah, so um, so yeah, man, like what how y'all feel about that? You know, but so we went to the event and they were selling them at the event. It's not like I got one off Amazon and popped out to the event with the summer I had on. You know what I'm saying? So I felt like you know, so it was a it was a part of the event, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you know what I'm saying. I would have got one of them um um umbrellas. The umbrella is fired. Yeah, yeah. I gotta see uh uh yes um the summer I had?
SPEAKER_04Look in the um look in the closet in the hallway, is up top where the um towels used to be at.
SPEAKER_03But that's tough though. Where was that? Where was that at? On the belt line?
SPEAKER_04No, where you hear belt line? No, it's um at Atlantic Station.
SPEAKER_03Atlantic Station.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, where the little big parking lot is where they have the circus and stuff at?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right there.
SPEAKER_04Oh, it's still there too. Let me see. Yeah, yeah, it's it's right over there, bro. Y'all should go over there if y'all have some time, man. So it's still over there. It's still over there. Yeah, for sure. That's fire. I told you.
SPEAKER_02That's fire. Like that. I'm not even gonna be. Wait, hold on, dirty. Let me let me ask you this. Let me see it. Do you got a fit in mind with that?
SPEAKER_04I know you do. Nah, I really don't. I really don't. If somebody got when it got a big noise, let me see it, baby. The only time I probably wear this is um maybe on vacation at the beach or something. You know what I'm saying? Block the sun. I wouldn't really wear it for real, for real. That's not just blocking the sun, that's beating the sun up. Oh yeah. Y'all like that? Yeah, that's fire. Y'all like that? Yeah, hit the hit the button.
SPEAKER_03That's fire.
SPEAKER_02That's fire. I've always I've seen this on like Naruto, but I've never seen it for real.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah. A little situation. Yeah. A little situation. Hey! Yo, I really should. You want to keep it on? Yo, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead and run it, man. I really should. Yo, but uh, but so so that's not a cultural appropriation, right? If I bought it at the event and they were selling them to us, right?
SPEAKER_02I mean, I'm sure there's someone out there that's gonna say it, but did you genuinely feel like you were interested in the culture and learning about it and all that? Yeah, 1000%.
SPEAKER_04Because the actually what's crazy was I was wearing the um the Vis Vim designer um uh shoes too. Break that down. What do you mean? So VizVim is a um it's a high-end luxury um Japanese uh designer. And I I just happened to have the shoes on, you know what I'm saying? I was like, oh shoot, I fit the whole the whole little theme. The irony, you know what I'm saying? So uh so yeah, yeah. So no, that's that's my contribution.
SPEAKER_02You know, that sounds like a great time.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so so uh so yeah, that's that's kind of what I did this past weekend. Um you'll probably see a recap on my socials. Uh I took some I took a little content, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, that was it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02This was a great weekend to be in Atlanta. For sure. 404-day weekend, a bunch of events. OG the juice man literally got out of jail and went straight to a 404-day event and performed. For real? Yes. Um, I got a video that I'm gonna break right here on the edit podcast of Belly Gang Cush confirming his hard launch. That he confirmed that him and and YK Nees are actually a thing.
SPEAKER_04For the longest people were thinking, like For those that don't know her, that might be uh Living Up on the Rock. She's the Take Me Through there. Take me through there, take me through there, take me through that.
SPEAKER_02But not the person, like the verse at the end. Take me. Uh huh. That's not you, gotcha. And um, she was on what was the song Win Wemmy? Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. So there's been for the longest, there was like speculation that her and Belly Gang were dating or not. Um, but they never said anything for people to think that. So last night at this 404 day uh what it was at night event and took it into the mic. What happened? He he brought her out on stage and then could I play the clip? Yeah, go ahead, go ahead, run it, run it. So, that being said, all of the speculations. Congratulations, we're gonna give a lady to the belly game cushion, white cane knees. That is his baby.
SPEAKER_04Yo, that's lit.
SPEAKER_02That's what's yeah, belly gang cushion YK knees.
SPEAKER_04Hold on, hold on, you didn't hear him?
SPEAKER_02Hello, you feel some type of way? Yeah, do you are you?
SPEAKER_03Hold on, hold on, are we good? No, no, no, no, no. I thought he had put a baby in there for a second.
SPEAKER_04Oh, no, that's his baby. No, he said that's his baby, but I I guess more will be revealed. Yeah, that's a fact.
SPEAKER_02You know what I'm saying? But no, that event was just it was a great time. I think it was like a Hennessy uh collab with four or four days.
SPEAKER_04So let me ask you, so where all the locations they had stuff at this weekend, man. Everywhere. The socials, bro, obviously we fall a hot. Yeah, but it's like every single time, it's like it was something in the underground. Yeah, it was something at um at Piedmont Park, yeah, I just kind of went kind of sideways, you know. Stay away from the Piedmont one. That's um RIP to those that lost their life, but y'all didn't hear it. There was a shooting at Piedmont Park during one of the events. Um it's just unfortunate, man. Um I don't know. I know you we we were talking about off camera, yeah, and I know you mentioned like a lot of stuff happens like that where you from in Philly.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's why can you speak on that?
SPEAKER_02That's go ahead, what are you about to say?
SPEAKER_03Well, you sound like you want to go in debt, so go ahead.
SPEAKER_02No, I was just saying, so like me being from the Philly area, you hear about people getting killed like every hour. And I I was telling Norris, I don't hear about it as much out here. And I I mean, of course it happens, but it doesn't, I I just don't hear about it as much. And he's like, nah, bro, you're bugging. It is it's the same thing. But like when when you hear about what happened, the unfortunate news that happened last night at Piedmont, yeah, I'm like, dang, I thought people were just breaking in cars out here.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, nah, all I gotta say is like um a lot of people are saying Hello, go ahead, man.
SPEAKER_04This this is a serious moment, but your the your dramatic pause was different. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Because I I gotta get my words together. Yeah, yeah. You don't want to just say anything. No, that's facts. You know what I'm saying? But uh you a lot of people, you know, I had a conversation and they like, you know, where they parents at and stuff like that. And this, that, this, that. But you know, it is true. Like, you know, as a parent, you know, you should like, you know, be aware of where your kid is and stuff like that. But at the same time, you can't you can't help with these kids nowadays. Just you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04They bringing out Are you talking about are you talking about you ain't talking about the victims? You're talking about the victims.
SPEAKER_03Are you talking about the victims? I'm talking just talking about the situation, like you know what I'm saying? Like it's unfortunate that you just gotta go somewhere, or your kids might be out somewhere, and somebody just let loose just because somebody caught them stupid. You know what I'm saying? Nobody something dumb.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we don't really know what the situation was, right? But things like that does happen also dumb stuff like that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, um so it's condolences to them. Yeah, to her to that girl.
SPEAKER_04And also too, the victim, too. Hopefully, it's another one. They were younger. One of them got hit, too, right?
SPEAKER_03It was 14 and 15.
SPEAKER_04Dang. And we're talking about Piedmont Park, man. It's like if fools festivals be going on, music festivals, you know what I'm saying? Um, it's not like in the hood or nothing. It's literally in midtown, I think.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and uh like a place that's things like that shouldn't be like yeah, definitely shouldn't be bobbing off that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but it is Atlanta, yeah.
SPEAKER_04And and also it still it gives events like 404 day that is never celebration, you know what I'm saying? Music and food and culture here in Atlanta that just give it a really bad, a bad gives Atlanta a bad rep by doing it on a day that's for the culture. That makes sense. Yeah, exactly. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Sometimes, man, I know we so don't don't approve of it when I when I be uh trying to stay home. Yeah. Sometimes everybody just needs to stay their ass home, bro.
SPEAKER_04No, I ain't gonna but listen, that listen, I knew it for their weekend. I I worked um at some of the events last last year. Super cool, other with DC. Yeah, he was doing something on at on the ground last year. And um this year, man, I was like, man, I'll just I just kind of wanted to stay away from all the commotion because especially over the past couple of months, it's been a lot of craziness happening. And I was like, I don't I think I'm I think I'm good. I'm running around. That's a fact, you know what I'm saying? Because you don't necessarily know when it's gonna happen or where it's gonna happen. It could be at Atlantic Station, obviously it's Piedmont Park, you know what I'm saying? But also, too, I don't want to put a stigma on Atlanta like you can't go nowhere, it's not unsafe. But I don't know, man. I just think on on the day, big weekends like this, man, it just makes me very cautious.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's where any major city, man.
SPEAKER_03That's anywhere. For sure. You just gotta keep your head on a swivel and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_02Another situation to keep your head on a swivel on have y'all heard about this pushisty madness? Yeah, also go ahead. Shisty, that's my dog. Yeah, who you know, I'm really shasty. Yeah, and when he said that, Dirk did not understand that his level of shisty is different from Pooh Shystee's level of shisty. Because Pooh Shyste's level of shisty is different.
SPEAKER_03I feel like Pooh Shyste would rob God if he could.
SPEAKER_04What would he take? What would he take? What would he take? That's deep. What would he take? Other people's blessings. He'll take other people's blessings or something.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_04Damn.
SPEAKER_03That's that's that's a good one. Yeah, bro. Cause it's like you you robbed Gucci man, bro. Bro, that's that's the most unhumblest, like, bro. Like, you he Gucci Man then gave you so much.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so for those of that that that don't really know, Pooh Shysti is signed to Gucci. Yes. Okay, so let's start there.
SPEAKER_02And two months after getting out of jail, he pulled up on Gucci and basically forced him to break his contract.
SPEAKER_03And then he was like, you know what? That's not enough. Give me all your shit.
SPEAKER_04So, so did this happen when? This happened in top of the year. Oh, so this situation ain't a new situation.
SPEAKER_02This is new to the public.
SPEAKER_04Oh, so it's new to me.
SPEAKER_02No, no, this is new to the public. Like us, non 1017 people. You heard about it?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I knew about it back then. But I mean how'd you know? Bro, it it's not really new to the public.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I I knew I knew about it a little bit. But there was no like confirmation. But it was no confirmation, right?
SPEAKER_03Right. It wasn't a confirmation, but it was still like something that was out. You know what I'm saying? That's real. So that's crazy.
SPEAKER_02So this man basically made him rip his contract though. But the fact that not only the whole ungrateful thing is, Gucci's the last person you want to have an issue with.
SPEAKER_04So Pooh Pooh Shice is from where? He's from Memphis. He's from Memphis, right? Yeah. But he's in Tennessee. Not in Tennessee. He's in Texas. Mm-hmm. Because he's on house arrest or something like that. Or can't leave the state. He has an ankle monitor on or something like that. He literally just got out not too late. He just got out. He's in Texas, right? So instead of him coming, going to Gucci for the meeting, the meeting actually came to him. Am I following that correctly? I'm not sure about it. I saw some of the uh I had heard from um a couple of podcasts.
SPEAKER_03Basically, I mean I don't know where it was, but you know. It was in Texas. It was some hotel, though. Pooh Pooh Shi Pooh Shisey was just like, hey, pull up. You know what I'm saying? I want to talk talk about uh yada yada yada. It was supposed to have been a business meeting. Well, they was at a music studio too, so I don't know.
SPEAKER_04Well, I I heard it was a business meeting. He wanted to get out his contract, things went left, and then apparently Gucci basically said no.
SPEAKER_03Okay. And then he was just like, All right, bitch. And then he pulled out whatever he pulled out to make him talk. The talker. Yeah. And then, you know, Gucci was probably like, man, whatever, bro. Yeah. And then ripped it up, whatever like that. You can go ahead. I don't want to deal with that. And then he was like, you know what? That ain't enough. Okay. And that boy just started taking all Gucci jewelry and all his valuables and even his team stuff or whatever like that. Shoot, if I was there, I would have got my camera took and all that stuff. Like, bro.
SPEAKER_02The red?
SPEAKER_03Bro. They would have snatched the red out of the room.
SPEAKER_04So did he get kidnapped too? Along with that? Because I heard that's they're technically saying they kidnapped him.
SPEAKER_02Like they kept him in that room until the contract was ripped. And all the jewelry was in their possession. Damn. And they got caught. Yeah. Months later. Months later. Yeah. I mean, but I'm sure like how KP's saying uh that this kind of came out already, that they've been working on this. Right, right, right. But they didn't they didn't hit Pooh Shyste, and I believe Big 30, right? Big 30 was involved with this allegedly.
SPEAKER_03I think so.
SPEAKER_02Either way, let's just say Pooh Sh for the lack of information. I don't know who Big 30 is. Another artist, but they basically, I'm sure they were working on this case, and then they hit him with it recently once they had enough evidence. Right. So this is a fed case. I believe so. Because they went across state lines, I'm assuming. Yeah, man. No, it's a crazy situation. I would have not never thought in my life I would hear Gucci get robbed. No, that's a fact. Gucci. No, that's a fact. Gucci does the rock.
SPEAKER_03Why do you say Gucci out of all people, you should be scared of the body? That's the boogeyman. You don't think like Drake can get you gone or like the whatever?
SPEAKER_02I'm sure everyone can, but Gucci's the last person. That man brags to this day about killing G Z's friend. That's a very unfortunate story, but he does not have any remorse about hurting you if you're gonna hurt him. Yeah, that's tough. Zero. So that's just a whole crazy situation.
SPEAKER_04So we we brought it up because um the internet is gonna internet, right? Yeah. And they're saying that Gucci, any type of um, any type, any type of talking to informant is a is a is a type of snitching, right? How y'all feel about that?
SPEAKER_03I'm not I'm not a burbs. I don't know. I'm not a street nigga.
SPEAKER_04Okay, okay, tell me more. Let's dive into that. And then dive dive all the way in. Yeah, yeah. Tell me, tell me more about that. I'm a citizen. Absolutely. Okay.
SPEAKER_03So therefore, I can snitch if I want to. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay. And you will snitch.
SPEAKER_03If need be. If need be. Yeah. Okay. It's it's certain things to third stuff, though. I'm not no caring. Like, I'm not about to snitch about it. Sometimes you don't want, you don't, sometimes you don't want to snitch. Sometimes you want to take matters into your own hands.
SPEAKER_04This is a good conversation. It's different levels of snitching. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I'm not gonna lie, like, if it got something to do with my equipment, oh buddy, I'm snitching.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah. You're going, you're going to jail.
SPEAKER_03You're going down, buddy. Yeah, you're gone.
SPEAKER_02But if somebody like slaps me or slaps dirty.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I'm not, I'm not snitching on that, bro. Like, we're just you're just finna, they're just finna get their ass whooped. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But anyway, yeah. Um, if somebody like, bruh, snitching is subjective, bro, at the end of the day. But um, I think I think Pooh Shyste is very slow for what he did. Um, I feel like he could, he, I feel like honestly, he could have got away with it if he wouldn't have took it to the extreme and just started stealing all the jewelry and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_04Nah, nah, nah, nah. The whole ripping of the comments. Listen, bro, it's 2026. It's too many cameras. He had an ankle monitor on, bruh. Like, ain't no way come on, man. Ain't no way in hell, like, you you gonna you're gonna get away with any of that. Not today. It's too many surveillance at um different places, so like I don't see that happening. Yeah, it was gonna be it's gonna happen regardless. So whether um Gucci snitched or not, or or cooperated with the with law enforcement or not, he was gonna get got regardless.
SPEAKER_02So, like we said, we're snitching. But one thing we will do, we're gonna tell you about some new music. Y'all ready to get into this music setting? Yeah, let's go, let's go settle, man. Shout out to our dog Jazzy. She's probably not snitching.
SPEAKER_04We don't know about him. Um, she might be kind of like let me give you a proper introduction. And for those that don't know, where why we so? Yeah. If y'all didn't know, where why we so he told you from day one. What you telling him? What you telling him? Six months in advance. We're gonna tell you about the new three earliest. Six months in advance. No kidding. Uh this isn't this is not a new artist, but this is this is the homie. And this is the next Missy Elliott.
SPEAKER_02Come on, hold on. Say to me. She she's the next Missy Elliott. All right, go ahead. Let's go. I just had to give you that. This is the bonus track, but I feel like this really compliments our core audience. This song is called Doggum. You got me on the volume. Let me tell you, let me turn it all the way up. Let's call it Doggum. Be more clever.
SPEAKER_03Be more clever.
SPEAKER_02How are we feeling about that one? Yo, who produced that? Uh, damn, what's his name? Um, shoot. He was he was at the panel. Uh into the micard. She was he was at um, it's a really, really big producer. I forgot what his name is. I'll let me check the credits.
SPEAKER_04Yo, that track was crazy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, she I didn't I didn't know if she sung and raped. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Jazzy's super fire.
SPEAKER_03I'll never forget when um back in like I think 22 or no, 23 when I moved first moved down here, Jazzy uh put up to the blitz. And um Ivy too.
SPEAKER_02Shout out to Ivy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, shout out to Ivy and Jazzy. I I didn't even really even know Jazzy like that, but Jazzy was very down to earth. Pretty sure she is now. I missed her uh this year and stuff like that, but man, keep going, going crazy. Song inspired for sure.
SPEAKER_02Um I'm excited to see her keep continuously growing and thriving, and I I truly have high hopes for her.
SPEAKER_04So I'm gonna have to check the project out. How many how many pieces is it?
SPEAKER_0218 piece. Ooh, and then over the bonus 19? No, that with the bonus is 18. Oh, okay. All right, so she um she basically the the title is called Soundtrack to Get Her Bag. So it was like a soundtrack on how to get your your significant other bag or your your girl and everything.
SPEAKER_04So okay, all right, a little thing to it. All right, yeah, yo, uh, we're gonna close it out because uh we weren't really fully prepared today. So uh KP has some set camera situations, so uh we just gonna we go we just gonna shout him out and uh I guess close the episode out. Let's get it, man.
SPEAKER_02Yep, we out.
