SPEAKER_16New news generator.
SPEAKER_02Waste a couple months. Beat us for breakfast, yeah. Looking at photography, free dust. Some up. No, it's good on my street. But that's just how it feels.
unknownGive me a break. Give me a break.
SPEAKER_02Break out my relationship. But make sure that the owner knows I need another flakes. You see a light. The way they crumble, they just make me feel okay. I wonder how many bullets I can write about. Are you putting your part of the phone? Yeah, you'll shape or you do nothing.
SPEAKER_12Hello, welcome to the new music generator on this Wednesday evening. That's if you are uh watching us on YouTube. That was Myopia and Two on the Ground. We premiered that very music video on this show last week. And I watched the video back again after the show last week and realised that I had missed a bit off the end. I cut out the cymbal bit at the end where Ollie kind of seems to fall over. So uh made sure we put that in this time. Anyway, welcome to the show here for the next couple of hours playing you the very best music from artists emerging from across East Anglia. And um by that we could mean artists from Cambridgeshire, from Norfolk, from Suffolk, from Essex, from Hertfordshire, and also from Bedfordshire. Uh, this week's show is uh not streaming live on MixedCloud and Instagram because it's been recorded in advance, but you are watching it live for the first time on YouTube if you are on this Wednesday evening. Of course, you can always watch the show back again at any time when you want to uh on our platforms. And the show is repeated as a podcast available via our website, newmusicgenerator.com, on our Spotify podcast feed wherever you get your podcast from, and also repeated on a Thursday afternoon at four o'clock on our uh friends Nog Radio UK or Nog Radio. Um that's where you can find the show, everybody. Uh also you've been sending a music involved in musicgenerator.com over the last week we will get through those and play the track that we have already played on the show over the last few weeks. Last week showed a very busy one, we had a drive in the video. Uh we had the uh music video premiere from the live uh premiere.
SPEAKER_06I gotta let you know, just did this negative drive and I met you at an imperfect time CJ playing sex on fire, got me feeling just a little bit wild. Then you go, go, go, dance to the radio. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm thumping to the stereo. Oh no, no, no. I'm falling like a domino and I know I gotta let you know Tell me how you feelin' Maybe I'm a wee I can't let you know Not sure what you feelin' Maybe we could be friends I gotta let you know We were always chasing Pave display that one time in the back of my mind All our friends knew exactly what it meant gives to universe humor and timing Then you go go go dance to the radio Whoa whoa whoa I'm pumping to the stereo Oh no no no I'm falling like a domino and I know all I can't let you know Show me how you feelin' Baby on the week I can't let you know Now show how you feelin' Maybe we could be friends I gotta let you know Wrote you a letter Didn't even send it You a Jesus I die and get to heaven now Sang you a love song Guess I got the words wrong right now Thought you an angel could be so painful I know Yeah yeah I gotta let you know Don't just how I'm feeling When I gonna be friend I'm gonna let you know I gotta let you know Oh when I gonna be friends I'm gonna let you know That is Loom and the new track is called Let You Know I believe that is taken from the album that uh Loom released uh a little while ago called Euphoria.
SPEAKER_12Uh Euphoria is about Y-O-U-F-O-R I A. If you would like to do that if you would like to do that, then you can play on any. Last week on the show we played for the first time. Another new track from Blank Talk who are being very um regular with their releases at the moment. And we're playing a gig at last Sunday, I think it was uh somewhere. I think I saw Caleb hacking his car and heading off to a gig somewhere. Uh so let's play you this. This is uh Blank Talk based in Norwich. This is their new track called Longitude. At least thirty seconds. Black Talk and Longitude. So they've released a few tracks over the course of this year already. Highly recommend you go and check out their back catalogue. Uh big fans of that band. Next up, we're heading from Norfolk to Suffolk with the latest single from Chance for Good. This is the band that used to be known as Helix, and uh they came back a uh a month or so ago with a track called Alive, the first release under their new name, and it swiftly followed it up with this one. This is called Stick Around.
SPEAKER_06I see right through those stores. I'm waiting for so I'm waiting for so it's so weak.
SPEAKER_12That was Chance for Good, that was Stick Around, uh, but I got it the wrong way around. Stick Around was actually the first release that the band put out under the name Chance for Good, and Alive was the follow-up, which is the one we haven't played yet. Uh rather than doing a back-to-back Chance for Good uh double play, we'll we'll hang on to that and come back to that in a little while and play alive, so the boys get two plays out of us today. Um but yeah, I didn't uh I didn't mean to play that one, I meant to uh I meant to play alive and got the two mixed up. Never mind. Um you're uh listening and watching the new music generator, and if you are watching on YouTube, then you're gonna get to see a live video recorded by Ross Stewart and his band. Uh this is taken from uh Ross's new live album that came out at the end of last week, where he recorded a gig and played a lot of the tracks that he's already released on his uh individual singles over the last few years, and put it out as a live recording. Uh which recorded out of the Holloway in London. And we're gonna once again play this full great full live version with Ross and five minutes and ten seconds.
SPEAKER_06I remember everything. I remember everything Is it just getting older? I lose myself. I'm drowning. I'm drowning. I grew teeth in, I grew close to put a mask on all my floors. I grew teeth in, I grew close. But I remember who I was. I'm only singing this because I still remember who I was. Is it a gray? Is it just getting older? I lose myself in all of the state some gone. Like my oldest enemy. I remember who I am. That's what makes me who I am. Who I am is it a fall from grace? Is it just getting older? I lose myself in all of the space. I'm drowning for from the grace. Is it a fall from the grace? Is it a fall from the grace?
SPEAKER_12There we go, that's Ross Stewart and four from Grace, recorded live at the Holloway in London. And that features as part of a full live album called To Speak from Experience that is available now. Was released at the end of last week. So if you enjoyed that, I recommend you go and check the rest of it out. You are listening and watching the new music generator, and it's time for a new track that's been sent into the inbox this week from Annie Dresner, who's a Cambridge-based artist, uh but New Yorker at heart, and she's been in touch with her new track that has already been played, premiered by Mark Riley and Gideon Co. on Six Music. Uh acclaimed New York City singer-songwriter Annie Dresner has a new Americana indie folk pop banger called Dumb. Dumb Boy, I'm sorry. The title spans over two lines in the email. Dumb Boy. Produced by UK Americana superstar Peter Brittnell. With one month to go before its release, Dumb Boy has already hit the BBC six music airwaves, and they also included um who also included by Riley and Co. in their best of twenty twenty-five show. Dumb Boy is an anthem for all of those who have ever had to deal with someone who's messed them around without any regard for their feelings. Holding on to that little glimmer that made your heart flutter. When it ends, you're left with a bittersweet taste of what it was, or what could have been her that seeps out into a petty name and calling. Produced by Peter Brunnell. Peter Brunnell. The vibe of this album is very nostalgic of singer-songwriters from the nineties, or maybe even early REM or Kathleen Edwards. Her vocals have been likened to the Cardigans or Suzanne Vega, with vibes of Kathleen Edwards mixed with Tom Petty and twinges of the late Dolores O'Riordan from The Cranberries and the Torn era of Natalie in Berulia. And he is going on a tour. In fact, it's pretty much just started, um starts this week actually on the 14th of Mar March match. Um and she'll be playing locally to us in Norwich at the Public Theatre on the 12th of April, and also in Cambridge at Stories Field on the 24th of April. So this is Dumb Boy from Annie Dresner.
SPEAKER_05Put your choosings in one call even then call me again. You're just a dumb boy in a van. I don't like the way that you can win a stand. You're just a dumb boy in a van. And I gave that baby cry. You know how three dumb strips. You're just a dumb boy and a bad way. You're just a dumb boy. Oh, hello, so let's take a five space and swearing, and some wish and that's all you want to do.
SPEAKER_12There will be a music video coming with that, and once we uh get hold of it, we will play that on the show.
SPEAKER_15New music generator.
SPEAKER_12Time to play you some new music from Rob Prince now, uh singer-songwriter who releases his new track on Friday, uh, this Friday, which is Friday the 13th. Rob is also on the lineup alongside the Fristonians and Mole Holland Jive, uh, which is a gig that's taking place at the Smokehouse in Ipswich this Saturday, the 14th. Tickets are available at £5 via thesmokehouse.org. We'll play you a track from Mole Holland Jive in a moment. This track from Rob, though, is called Black Dreams. Uh it's an indie folk rock song about following your dreams, even if it feels hard and unpredictable at times. It's available as a safe from the 13th. There's a music video that could go alongside it as well, and we'll play that next week too. It was recorded at Black Actors Studios in late 2025 and finished earlier on this year. It features Liam Hooker, who's Bridget's drummer on bass. Um I don't know who Bridget is, but perhaps I'm missing something. Anyway, thank you, Rob, for sending your track through. Let's have a listen to it. This is Rob Prince and Dreams.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what the mean. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And complete. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
unknownYou know what they mean. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_12Songwriter from Manningtree in Essex, and that is his latest song called Dreams. As I say, he's playing alongside Moholland Jive and the Frostonians this Saturday, the 14th of March, at the Smoke House in Ipswich. So let's deer delve deep into our archive and play you a track from Moholland Jive. This is Audiation Station.
SPEAKER_01M M Golden Home.
SPEAKER_12It'll be a uh a reduced Moholland Jive lineup because the stage at the Smoke House is quite small. And uh Moholland Jive, well, it can be as big as you want it to be, I suppose. Um but Ben Moholland, the uh the leader of the band, the creator, the main man, will be there. And uh if you go onto his social media, Moholl and Jive on uh Instagram, he likes to do piano covers of um songs that he likes to listen uh the sound of. Um I think he listens to the show regularly and picks things up and does sort of want to do a piano cover of that. And that's a really nice sweet touch, I like that. And I think he did one of Rob uh Rob Prince's songs the other day I saw online. So Mo Holland Jive the Frostonians and Rob Prince at the smokehouse this weekend in Ipswich. Now, the music scene was rocked by some news that dropped last Thursday evening uh when it appeared that the Hunter Club Art Centre in Berlin Evans was to close after the end of this month. A statement from the operator of the Hunter Club Art Centre, CIC, led by uh Nick Cooley, um, read that they'd lost access to the building from the end of this month, and that um people with tickets for events that were happening beyond that point would be contacted for a refund. So we all thought we've lost a venue, an amazing venue, and a real lifeblood of the music scene in Barris and Edmunds, and it would have been an absolute tragedy. And I'm not understat overstating that um understating it if anything, uh, if we had lost the Hunter Club, because there isn't really anywhere else like that venue capacity-wise. The particularly young musicians, up-and-coming artists can perform, and the Hunter Club have always supported and nurtured a scene, um, led by Nick and promoters that are regular there like a scene more quickly from washing machine. Um anyway, the good news is that the venue is not closing. The owners of the venue have allowed to continue it as a music venue, um, but we don't know what form that will take. Um and when that will be. So it may well be that the venue does close temporarily at the end of the month. All mean well, things should be up and running again in the notes in the future. Washing machine social media as well. Um the most important thing is that the music venue remains a uh community. And have a good night now and artists to be able to get up on stage and express themselves and that ultimately is the most important thing outside of any other uh personal uh situations or disagreements that uh might be going on in the background. So that's good news that the Hunter Club will still be there as a music menu. I did fear the worst when I saw the original statement, thinking that uh we might have lost it, and uh as as what happens with music menus, they get turned into uh something else that's uh not a music menu. So that's good news. Um you are watching the new music generator on YouTube this evening. If you miss any of the show, you can always uh watch it back, it's saved automatically, and you can always listen back to the show again as a podcast on our Spotify and podcast feed wherever you get your podcast from, basically. You can listen to an audio version of this show. And it's also um played out on uh Noggs Radio on a uh Thursday afternoon from four o'clock. We haven't played a video yet, so we're gonna write that wrong in just a tick.
SPEAKER_14To submit your music to the show, email an MP3 or web file to inbox at new musicgenerator.com, ensuring you include a short biography and links to your social media.
SPEAKER_15All submissions from within our coverage area in East Anglia will be considered for airplay.
SPEAKER_06Gravity leaves escapes me further through the air the mistakes that I have made. Play the game to face the never change the last when you talk in between the face and never fight fasting the new music generator live with Tim Willard. I think go something to watch my life joy. Are you feeling a guy? Or are you just pulling my leg? I like my leg, hey, I got a fish pulling off and so I'm watching my father spoke to fish on that. I don't think so.
SPEAKER_12That is uh the other Chance for Good track that's uh I meant to play earlier on. Uh that is called Alive from the uh Suffolk-based band. Just wait for the camera there we go. Camera to free focus again. I moved too much. So we've played both of Chance for Good's 2026 releases now. Uh the band that used to be known as Helix. Before that, you listen to the new single from Dead Reynolds, uh, which is called Face Me with the music video. We haven't played the music video yet. The music video is of the band running around an indoor child's play center. Uh you know, those places where you go with a ballpen. Um those sort of unboxing type um things that you punch and everything. Well that was basically three minutes and forty-eight seconds of the band doing that. I just tried to go to look on the description of the video to see whether it says where that was filmed. And it doesn't, unfortunately. Now, onto the morning music from a band called the disagreement, who we first heard from on the show at the end of January. Uh they are aged between twelve and fifteen from Cambridge. They like guitar bands, hung emo, rock and rock. Paula on vocals, Tom on Lee guitar, Elliot on rhythm guitar, Aidan on Baith, and Gregory on drums. And they've just been in touch with their next single email readers. Thanks so much for your support when you previously played our single People and Animals. We'd love for you to hear and hopefully play our new single that came out last week called Bleeding Colors. This one is hearing, fast-paced, and a political punk song shouting back at the bullying leadership in the world that doesn't represent us. It's now now on our streaming platforms and on Bandcam, which is the band's preferred way for artists to be heard, alongside our previous songs, People and Animals. And yet again, it's also just pure fun to bounce around to. Uh, when you hear us play live, we have been a band since twenty twenty-four, playing our first game in August of that year. We then competed at the Cambridge band competition last year and got to the final, played 52 successful shows of the Fiverr, and competed in Very Found this year, and missed them unfortunately. Recently they won E1 of the Cambridge Man competition in 2023. Very well done. I mean you can catch them live on uh the final of the under 18th Cambridge Man competition fallen down to the 28th of March. And they're playing at this Friday the 13th at the bunker at Oracle Studios in Barrington, Edinburgh. You can follow them on Instagram at disagreementband if you would like to do that. So let's uh without further ado hear the new single from the disagreement.
SPEAKER_17This is called Bleeding Colors Spearing that crap out of all, what will you do when you bomb? You break up the bitch with bell bottom line, behind them, you don't give up what we need. This will be a lunch on break, you cover the tiny through What the lion's gonna come in from you, break America! I want five, I want great, and you ain't trying to make blades fighting by the playbook You know the baking round You the water Play colours play the arm, can you do that from the start? You better do it to a good egg and good, baby bumper can I fire Why do you even fry? After that we'll make fire, I was about to fire, right American brain, what you think of red, I won't find out the wave trying to wave by the fire with fire, but it's gonna die, but they're both taking around, we'll watch that, make up the American brain, that's what you think I'm playing I won't find I won't break, and we make true big sleep It's we fight the fire with fire the point You will face one shake in front, you will want to fail for now There we go, very short, but very sweet.
SPEAKER_12That is the new single from The Disagreement and it is available now, and they're the winners of the under 18s Heat of the Cambridge Bang Competition, and while we're on the subject, we should also give a big congratulations to Dan Sutton, who won the over 18s segment of the uh band competition for heat one last weekend at the Portland Arms competition continues this weekend. We may well have Dan on the show next week for a chat, which will be nice. Another band that I met at Berry Sound this year with a detour not long after we played their single. Well, they've got another one coming out called Obsolete on the 24th of March. They say, We hope you've been keeping well. Thank you again for playing Headaches. We really appreciate you supporting emerging artists such as ourselves. Another thank you for your support through Berry Sound. We're really glad to hear the success of the final. Yes, we'll tell you about Berry Sound final in a minute. I'm writing to you as we have our new single Obsolete coming out on the 24th of March. We have announced this release today, at one o'clock today, I believe, on uh their socials. And we were hoping you would help us out by playing it on your show. So hello to any fans of the Dour that have tuned in to hear their song, presumably for the first time. Let's get on with it then, shall we? This is the new single from the D Tour. It's out on the twenty-fourth of March. It is called Obsolete.
SPEAKER_15You're listening to the new music generator with Tim Willard.
SPEAKER_12So I mentioned that the Obs um the Detour, the Obsolete. Uh that's not a bad band name actually. The Detour took part in Berry Sound this year. They were one of the artists that took part in the Heat, I think it was Heat 5. And the Berry Sound final took place at the Apex in Berry St. Edmonds last Saturday. There were five acts competing for the prize. The competition final itself saw the second highest turnout in attendance. There were 400 people at the Apex in Barry St. Edmonds on Saturday, which were uh a local band night involving five local bands plus a headline from uh the previous winner from 2025 is not bad whatsoever. Uh so really pleased with that. The winning artists were Oscar November, who were taking uh or were they won eight three, um, and the rising star, because there were two prizes given out for very sound The Rising Star went to Young Rapper of Blades. Uh so congratulations to both of those. And the main prize won by uh the sponsor of um the main sponsor of the competition, Vision Express, uh Mendel Oscar November won 500. And they also won a pair of Raven Songs, which is very nice. Um recording studio time in North Lake excuse me, North Lake recording studio with Judaism. Uh various different um bundles um and live um recording Least Oak Festival 2026 they'll be opening Least Doc on the Saturday. Um be opening Least Dalk on the Sunday, that's my opening November will be opening the late on the Saturday. So congratulations to them. Ladies won £250 from Vision Express, a pair of uh Ray-Ban sunglasses, and also two days recording at uh North Laker with J. So congratulations to them. Very sound done and dusted for another year then. Now it's time to play you a new track from Eels, Eels, Eels, who are a band based from literally round the corner from where this show is coming to you from. In Hailey, you might be able to tell that from the name. Just wanted to let you know that we're releasing our new track called Owls on the 21st of March. We're doing a big launch of the Blue Moon, joined by Grace Calver and Crying in Colour on the 21st of March. Uh, we'll definitely play some tracks from those artists on the show um next week. Um The Fenland trio, Eels, Eels, Eels, our second release. They're untamed Fen inspired EP, which is called Eel Land, and that's where owls is taken from the previous release track. Feeling hungry, the band of craft, full tracks, drawing folklore, also offering information on life. The opening track, Owls Explorers and Struggling, Feeling Isolated, and Unsupported. Um Queen's of the Stone Age Pixie, Jefferson Airplane, Talking Heads, and the Viagra Boys. Uh they are playing live in Richard this weekend on Saturday. Uh the 21st, they're playing in Hammer, they're playing at the Brickmakers in Norwich on the 27th of March as well. With a couple of dates further on in the summer. So this is the new one from Eels Eels Eels. This is Owls.
SPEAKER_06Because it's half past air. I give it all to give it all. Look to the dark they're at tonight. Come and come on into the light. Oh, top, stop just interesting, although it's taken suffer just a fury girls. You've got the crush that I've given it all, you've given it all. I've given it all, you've given it all. Look to the stars, the right tonight.
SPEAKER_07Come and come on, pretend a lot of the five on the song I've given it all, I've given it all.
SPEAKER_00I've given it all, I've given it all. I've given it all, I've given it all. I've given it all, I've given it all.
SPEAKER_06You drop it from all, it's a last. You don't come on, it's a last.
SPEAKER_12On the twenty first of March, that is Eels, Eels, Eels and Owls. Might be my favourite one from them so far. If you are a singer-songwriter and or in a band and you would like your music to be played on this here show, then you can get in touch. InboxingUMusicgenerator.com is the email address. If you are an artist from Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire. Um we'd love to hear from you. Thank you very much. And also, if you've got a music video, maybe you're trying to spend out a little while. A few weeks or a couple of months, but you've got a music video for it, and we haven't played the music video on the show, but like the Dead Reynolds one this week.
SPEAKER_11Still hear your voice at night. And it's not for the love you've done.
SPEAKER_12I've forgotten about that. Lost without you. Beautiful, actually. That is Lost Atlas. I've known three of the guys from Sun Machine for a long time now. Uh Kieran Jake and Ross. And um really nice to see them continuing to develop their music careers and coming up with music that just gets better and better. And uh yeah, that's definitely their best trade today. If you would like to go into streaming, we still have the music for the involved. And we still have 40 minutes in the program.
SPEAKER_18Last five is better. A bit of say star, you feel so clever, so kind of special, it's the same sound. It's the same voice. Just wait a shit with your head at face in a splash the same path, four out of figure.
SPEAKER_06I think about it, I think about it, I think about it, I think I should, I think about it, I think about it, I think I should, I think you better be like, Light sweet switch in your right eye face. I think about it, I think about it, I think I found it, I think I should, I think about it, I think about it, I think so, I think about it, I think you better see that I think you got it, I think that it's good, I think that it's good.
SPEAKER_12That was Chess playing live at the NMG Awards last September. And if you liked that, the opportunity to see some stuff from the awards back again, then uh let me know. And we'll do some more. We've got plenty in the archive, to be honest with you, that we could play from uh going back to I think 2021. Uh so uh yeah, chess doing really well for themselves at the moment, and next playing in Barry St. Edmunds on the 10th of April, alongside Icarus, Jade Teeth, and uhland. Right, time to play you some more music from the inbox from this week. And this next track is by an artist called Edward Young. I'll tell you more about him after we've listened to the track. This is called The Way I See You Now.
SPEAKER_13I have loved before, and never could keep score of the gifts that all hazel off me, taking pieces off the flood, and all that I have found from those that stuck around, it's to firmly clutch my feet like a tree into the ground.
SPEAKER_06You bring power to the powerless and make them all feel sealed. And when I'm in your arms, it's like I'm living in a dream. The way I see you now, shining through the crowd. You're at the greatest chapter in the book. I can't put down the way I see you now The past is nothing, also future I could find See my thoughts that get too loud Loud for my own minds of personal time to show us with things rise up, sweetheart, choose what you get you just have to be if only Well I see now Shall to the crowd You are the greatest chance in a book I can put down. So if you feel something more leave your door, you can't see it. That's what it's got Yes for you, so it's gonna be bad.
SPEAKER_12So Edward Young is a singer-songwriter based in Peterborough, and that's guest vocals from Kirstie Dolby. That is called The Way I See You Now. Hi team, please see attach the track, my new track for consideration, says Edward. This is a romantic, hopeful, acoustic bass song on the and the title track of an EP, which is being released on the 3rd of March, so it's available now. The message behind the song is about seeing the best in someone who is struggling to see it in themselves and helping them to realise it. Written five years ago, the track had various delays due to moving house, puppy training, and wedding planning. We had to finally release it before the big day. Thank you to all of our fans, family, and friends for their patience. The song means the world to us. We're so excited to finally share it with you. We played some of Edward's stuff before, and it last time was 2023, so it's been a little while since we heard from Edward, but thank you for sending your music through.
SPEAKER_14And if you would like to do so, like Edward has done, here are the details.com. Ensuring you include a short biography and links to your social media.
SPEAKER_15All submissions from within our coverage area in East Anglia will be considered for airplay.
SPEAKER_12New music from Hayden and Pepper now. Um this one was released on the 13th of February, and Chris apologizes for not sending it through sooner. This is called Mary's Beetle.
SPEAKER_10Oh Mary Speedle, come with me, tell me what to do. Oh Mary Speedle, comfort me till my wish comes true till my wish comes true.
SPEAKER_04Searching for lovely men, yo my week. Tell me what Please beat.
SPEAKER_10Tell me what to do.
SPEAKER_12I've made a note to do so. Thank you so much. If you have subscribed to us on YouTube over the last couple of weeks, I came on air last Wednesday wanting to get to the target of a hundred subscribers, which means we would have done that in three weeks. Um, and we managed to successfully achieve that and a little bit more. And I've just looked at the subscribers today, having not looked at it for a week, and we've gone up by nearly another 50. So we've got just a shy of 150 subscribers as I put this show together tonight. It may be slightly more by the time you watch this or listen back to it. So if you could please just go to YouTube, um, hit subscribe if you've got a YouTube account or a Google account, um, that would be really much appreciated. It means that you can get involved in the chat when we're live and we'll be back live again streaming on um YouTube, um, XCloud and Instagram again next Wednesday. As I say, you to be joined fingers crossed by Dan Sun um on the show. Um he might be coming into the studio, I'm not sure. Mikeboard with electric piano within and play something for us live. That'd be nice. Now a few weeks ago you might remember we played your track from uh Mike Huden, uh who is the father of Ben Huden, who you may know from and like uh good help for you know his location. And also little handling. And uh Mike has been encouraged by Ben to record some of the music tracks that he's been uh uh writing and um just to kind of prove that you're uh never really, never really too late to uh to get into this music stuff and start writing and recording your own music. The first track we played was uh All My Love to You, which he says was an Eagles inspired track. And you came back in touch again. He says, Thanks so much for featuring my song on your show. And the kind words about me and my music. Please find attached to this email another song called Happy Birthday to me, stylized as HB2 number me. It's both a happy and a sad song. I read the song because a couple of years ago my younger sister died suddenly and unexpectedly after a fall. I have a picture of her and my late parents in my flat, and one day I was looking at their pictures and reflecting on my life with them. Sadly I came to the harsh realization that I'll never see them again, and as my birthday was approaching, I thought about how they would no longer be there to sing happy birthday to me. Singing happy birthday is a joyful memory for me from my childhood. So the song traces my reflections on my life with them and what I think I've learned along the way. And the chorus covers Happy Birthday to them and to me. HB to me is an eclectic mix of pop for the country. The song was recorded, makes it a master by Ben of the Vanguard Hell, and also played drums which were recorded in Tri Drain Village Hall. The rest was recorded in my flat in Cambridge on a Mac Pro using the wardrobe as a makeshift sound booth, which I've heard many stories of people doing that uh before. Also thanks to Eddie from Little Hand Feet for the brilliant face lines. Um well I guess this is yeah, this goes out to anybody really that's that's lost a family member, um, and particularly with Mother's Day coming up on Sunday. Uh I know me personally, I lost my mum, it'll be three years this year. I can't believe it's been that long. Um, and you know, there are dates like Mother's Day and obviously her birthday and um things like that where it kind of comes back up to the uh to the forefront of your mind. So we'll hold all of those that we've lost dearly with us while we listen to this from Mike. This is HB to me from Mike Huden.

SPEAKER_12What's in the briefcase? If you're watching the video uh version of that track, that's Luke James Williams' latest release. He's released a number of tracks over the last uh month or so, and that is the uh latest one. It's called Full Moon, and the video kind of depicts uh a man holding a briefcase being chased around uh by a lady who's like a ballerina in ballerina taps shoes, and occasionally he'll do a little dance with her or twirl around to pick her up, and then she'll carry on chasing him, and then she steals his um briefcase, and he follows her, and then she opens the briefcase and they both look at each other, uh but nobody actually watching the video sees what's in the briefcase. Uh salute James Williams, you can find all of his series of singles on social media, the YouTube videos and the uh the actual releases available to stream now. Rapidly render and counting down to the end of the show, so we're gonna go back through a couple more tracks and last week.
