SPEAKER_06Do you like it?
SPEAKER_01Hello everybody, welcome to the show. It's the new music generator here. Uh as we go out live on this Wednesday evening, but you might be listening to the programme on another day of the week. And uh that was uh the new track from Jess and Deck. It is called Caught by the Dawn. We played the uh track for the first time on the show last week, and uh I noticed they dropped a little video. They didn't ask me to play the video, they might regret um or might think that I shouldn't have found it. Um but um I think they were on social media the the other day asking people to go and uh watch that video. The collection of home clips, which is really sweet actually, and just kind of uh goes back to what I was saying last week about their trip to New Zealand to the beginning of this year and all the magical memories that it made, and we've kind of been given a bit of an insight into those magical memories uh in that video there. Although the uh constant swap between horizontal and vertical videos did upset my OCD slightly. But apart from that, I enjoyed it very much. Uh now we are going out live on this Wednesday evening, so um if you have been living under a rock, then uh you won't need to be aware of uh what's just happened literally in the last couple of hours. Uh if you're watching on YouTube, then you'll say I've just rescued this from the bin um put it out behind me. And uh yes, we're celebrating England getting through to the next round of the world. There's a lot of improvement to go, and I think it's far been far fetched as a gesture in my window thing. Based on that, I think we all just need a moment just to take a breath and calm down. If you are listening to this uh in the original Thursday uh or a podcast or some other time, then I apologise for the specific time reference, but I couldn't let it go without being mentioned. Fingers crossed the banner in the background of my YouTube stream will stay up for the whole show. If it falls down, then that's a signal of what might be yet to come. Um we're just playing stuff from the inbox on today's show. We got a few new releases to play that we haven't played already, and we're gonna revisit some tracks in the last few weeks. We're just gonna have a nice, gentle couple of hours enjoying lots of music from across East Anglia.
SPEAKER_08I gotta let you know.
SPEAKER_01So let's do that now with this from Loom.

SPEAKER_01Still waiting on some live footage from the gig that he did at the Hunter Club. Uh hopefully we'll uh get some of our hands on something at some point and be able to play something from that. If you'd like to get in touch this evening, the YouTube chat is going. If you're watching us live as we go out, then you can get in touch with that. You need to subscribe to us on YouTube at New Music Generator in order to be able to get involved with that chat room. SPEAKER_18To submit your music to the show, email an MP3 or web file to inbox at new musicgenerator.com. Ensuring you include a short biography and links to your social media.
SPEAKER_12All submissions from within our coverage area in East Anglia will be considered for airplay.
SPEAKER_01Hello to Brooke, hello to Alex, hello to Andrew in the chat as well this evening. Uh now Mar Holland Jive played a gig at our friends The Plough at the weekend. Uh Alex was there, she said it was very, very good. I was gutted, I couldn't make it. But I did see quite a lot of video footage uh of the gig, so I kind of feel like I was a little bit there. Uh there were some new songs debuted, including one that's got some vocals, which is coming soon, which is exciting. But let's go back to last week with a song that I said slaps, and I still stand by this. It's Mojo, that is available for you to go and stream now. It's Mole Holland Jai. The track is called Mojo. Alex says they were excellent at the plow on Saturday with Vicky Jones singing with them as well. Vicky Jones, an upcoming guest on Behind the Music, which was uh on last Sunday. I did forget to promo the show on last Wednesday show. Uh but the third episode of Behind the Music is available for you to stream now. The subject uh of that is Melody Cold, and we will bring you a live acoustic track that she recorded during that uh show in a little while's time. Uh you can go and watch that one, you can go and watch the one with Lou James Williams and the first one with Jake Day, all on our YouTube channel, or wherever you get your podcast from to search from behind the music or new music generator, and there'll be another episode coming up in uh a weekend time, so not this coming weekend, but the following weekend. Right, let's move on with the first new track from this week's involved Hey Tim and Team. It's been a while. I hope you're keeping well. It was a ton of fun, Mystery Person. And I'm loving all the branding and colours you have running across the socials. Thank you. This feels like a new era for NMG, and I'm here for it. Exactly. It is. So am I. I can't believe it's been eight months since I last emailed you guys. My absence is all for a good reason. I've been deep at work on a double album, which is coming together nicely. Can't wait to share some of that with you. Today though, I'm excited to share a new song I'm releasing on the third of July. Of course, NMG gets this first. It's called Ordinary Man. Um it is not on the album, he says. So you've been working on a double album, but you're sending us a song that's not on the album. Uh this is a fun collaboration I made with a new musical collaborator. The artist in question is Joe Tirone, an artist who we've played a lot of on the show over the last couple of years. This is an interesting one, he says a few years back. I was lucky enough to have a song of mine produced by the legendary Mike Shenoda of Lincoln Park. And I met a lot of new musicians because of this. One of which being Daniel Sherman, now known as a storyteller, who Shenoda had also produced as part of the same series. Daniel's based in the US, and I'm UK based, but we had it often started writing together online just for fun at first. Somewhere in the territory of Rocky and Swingier, no church in the wild. We actually wrote it hoping it'll land on Daredevil Born Again season two, but it didn't quite make the cut. Let's have a listen to this then. This is Joe Gerone. And the track is called The Ordinary. Hold on, I'm in the wrong folder. Joe Gerone. The track is called The Ordinary Man and it features the storyteller.
SPEAKER_21Yeah, I heard a ribbon for the grapevine. Uh shadow pillars at the wayside. Uh any minute I could break, I'm always from the fire. A little out where I could never decide. If it's better to be blood, I'll be buried alive. I'm digging for the treasure hidden that he aside to my, my, my.
SPEAKER_17Yeah, you gotta give it to get it. I'm about to get some. They all just wanna be legends. I've never met one. Call me a kid if you're rich and for stitches, fists up. This ain't a dance, it's a sticker. I've got my way, and you go to place.
SPEAKER_09But I don't wait to see the crumble man. I've got my way, and you've got to play. But I don't wait to see the crumble off go to never manually Yeah, damn it's never enough, we got it in common.
SPEAKER_17Poor shot in the cup to no one's been haunted. If I ever get up, still get the heads haunted. You can't rise without the risk, dummies. They tell me I should give it up, but I cannot. They wanna strip away the morals what I stand on. They only focus on the bank, that's a brain ride. And by the time their minds change, I'll be wake on. But there's some days they can cut me down and wear me out, and even make a burden from a cake's talent. They'll wait till I hit the ground or call for help. I don't wait around for it to happen. I would make them feel validated if I never made it the way they gave up on passion to trade it off for a credit statement. I'll wait in my broken body, rebuilt from the bloody pavement. And when you see me next, I'll be awakened.
SPEAKER_09I go for way, and you've got to play. But I don't wait to see the Curk Light go to Little Man. I go away, I do go to play.
unknownBut I don't wait to see the Curple Lego man I've seen the baby does Drag it all the way back into Kingdom, and I can't feel the concrete one.
SPEAKER_01Well, that is something different. Like Joe is here for the new era of the new music generator. I am also here for the new era of Joe Tyrone with his Lincoln Park friend, uh Mr. Storyteller. That is Joe Tyrone and the Storyteller, and the track is called Ordinary Man, and it is out on the third, that is Friday, the 3rd of July. And now while we're talking about Lincoln Park, there's another track we've played on the show in the last month that is influenced by Lincoln Park. It is, of course, Norwich's Pink Serene and Dissonance. And so we have to play this now. Nice to roll that one out. Pink Serene and Dissonance. This is the new music generator. Last week's guests on the show were the band Crying in Colour. We spoke to them from their rehearsal room in Norwich ahead of them playing at Future Fest last weekend. They gave us a brand new track to play, which is this Island of Despair.
SPEAKER_04It's the quick people.
SPEAKER_20Do you think I'm a rope? Then I'm both and go.
SPEAKER_09Do you want to stop?
SPEAKER_01That's new from Norwich is Crying in Colour. It is called Ireland of Despair. We're heading over to Essex now, Chelmsford to be precise, for a new track from Lady Grey and the Earls, a band that we've been playing since March. They got in touch with us with one of their early, well, not early tracks, because they've been around since 2009, but uh a track that uh we played on the show, which I think was after Glow played the music video for it. Uh and we shouted out uh their gig that they um did last week as well. Um now they've been in touch and said, Would we play their brand new um single which is available now? It is called White Lies. Uh they are Lady Grey and the Earls, they are from Childhood. They are uh Amy Clayton, Lady Grey herself on vocals, simply Jay, Mystery J on guitar and songwriting, uh Papa G on bass and ukulele, otherwise known as Graham, and Ali Mull, otherwise known as Ali, on drums and percussion. In all the usual places you will find this track from Lady Grey and the Earls, this is White Lies.
SPEAKER_09I'm not spoiled, Stop Brake of River Brains of Pokemon, eyes, I love the I don't be like, I love you, I love I don't think white Ohio's white light.
SPEAKER_01Anyway, that's enough singing from me. Uh that's uh Lady Grey and the Earls and White Lies. The track is available for you to stream right now.
SPEAKER_18You're listening to the new music generator with Tim Willard.
SPEAKER_01The latest guest on Alex Elbrose Behind the Music series was Melody Coles, and as part of that uh interview that you saw premiere for the first time on our YouTube channel last Sunday was an acoustic track that at the time she'd only just written and it had a working title to it. Now she's settled on the title, but she's not released it. I don't know when we'll see it released, but we've got the recording of her playing it live for us.
SPEAKER_03Melody Cold and Twenty Two of the Foods It is happy and laughter because I miss the laughter And I am so happy for you. I'm so sincere, but it's a weird cause at the same time it's still brings up feelings for anything that you've done. Or ever could I just realize you have Mr. Sissy?
SPEAKER_09Cross the room, I look at you. I feel you stepping back at me. I don't know how I can see this through without look in your eyes. I need to know what does love feel like that's warm at the fire on a for winter stay. What does love feel like? It's that's cool at the ocean when the wind is blowing. What does love feel like? I think I love you even more than I did yesterday. What does love feel like?
SPEAKER_19I need an extra next time I wish someone told me when I was younger That it would be this hard.
SPEAKER_09Someone's the teacher, now it's stay up all night and weep, but my thoughts come back to haunt me in my sleep. She asked if I had loved her And I said I don't know what that means I've lost my chance with the one I need And now there's nothing above my dreams So what does love feel like? What does love feel like? Like everything I've lost has come back to me What does love feel like? I think I love you even more than I did yesterday What does love feel like? I need a next door next door There's something in my heart I can't be dying When I look into your eyes I can't put a flies That's this childlike Joy It's like to me that got to love to love Watch love feel like that for fine just take What does love feel like I kept in a blunt is gonna be What does love feel like I think I love you with mother yet starting? What does love feel like?
SPEAKER_01I think an answer Love that song that is new from Voyage available now. It is called What Does Love Feel Like? There must be a music video for that somewhere in the pipeline. Surely boys, we need a music video for that song after the uh the video for what was it? Was it Carousel? It was one of those two songs that had a video. Anyway, uh if you want to go and see them play live, then they are in uh Colchester at the Three Wise Monkeys on the 7th of August with support from Dan Sutton. Um we can fair with the sunlight email out of the blue worry. I think email out the blue. I think it's a full Cambridge Fair with the Sun. Um Fair with the Sun and James from um James Ingram. I'd be honoured if you consider giving some airplay to my debut single Ultra Violet Night. It is a nostalgic, it's an indie pop rock track driven by bright guitars, big melodies, and late night summer atmosphere. That's what we like. Well, this is my first release under my own name. I spent many years performing and recording with bands for in the UK and Europe, receiving national and international radio airplay, doing live on the BBC and ITV. Alright, no one likes a show off, James. And sharing the stages with artists such as Athlete, the Bluetooth, Coolio, Girls Aloud, and the Bluebells. What an eclectic mix of artists that is. Uh well, thank you, James, for getting in touch. It's nice to meet you. And it's nice that you feel that you want to send your music to this humble little show. Um, even though you have uh had an illustrious career, obviously, as you have pointed out. Um that you're doing your own music under your own name. Oh dear, maybe the flag is just falling down behind me. Oh dear, that means how do we get in the show? Forty minutes. Probably means we're gonna go out in the quarterfinals. We're gonna lose to Brazil, that's my prediction. Anyway, back on with the music. I'll put the flag back up again whilst um James Ingham sings this track to us. It is called Ultraviolet Nights, and it promises to be a nostalgic indie pop track with an upbeat. Let's have a listen, shall we? This is James Ingham and Ultraviolet Knights.
SPEAKER_19New Year's Eve 2033 That's where we'll be drinking to absent friends and one or two good enemies And between the laps we'll sigh that all the proper rock and roll stars die For sure Cause they don't make them like we were anymore No they don't make them like we were anymore to want to fight Long before we never had to try And if we ever see another summer life on summer time together, we bind up to violent life, time like we can find. I'll see you there without a care. Stretching out in easy chairs. Turn it out for more than early summer 24. You don't need the time machine when you're exactly where you want to be. For sure, but they don't make them like we never anymore.
SPEAKER_09Take me back to ultraviolet nights. Long before we ever had to try.
SPEAKER_19And if we ever see another summer like ultra summer time to go beat back in ultraviolet night, we did back then.
SPEAKER_09Well the sun's still shining long before we ever had to try. Like we did back, ultraviolet back, beat back, on the phone out to try.
SPEAKER_01That is James Ingham, an ultraviolet night. It's quite funny that the England flag fell down while we were playing about to play a track from an artist in Scottish.
SPEAKER_20Born to commute, down to the Grid and Speed, Internal Star Cross, rolled the reason. Interesting space, with alternates, change paradise danger.
SPEAKER_09It's true that they stay.
SPEAKER_20I am worthy of a unified alcohol.
SPEAKER_01Gonna change up the tempo now with an actor who played for us at Strawberry Fair, which was a month ago.
SPEAKER_18You're watching the new music generator live with Tim Willard.
SPEAKER_01This is Phoenix and goodbye to the new music generator that you didn't want me back.
SPEAKER_02You didn't try to fix things you left me in the past. It was strange, cause I thought you loved me more. The promises you made me, all the things you said before. So now I have to close the door. I kept it off for you. It's getting cold, a draught is coming through. When you hear me playing on your brain Ain't it funny where the time goes? Memories I had to let go. What's a girl to do? Wasn't easy, but it's done now. Nothing left for us to get proud. The walls are falling through. So now I have to close the door. I kept a job for you. Getting cold, the draft is coming through.
SPEAKER_01Album out now from Solomon Smith. This is taken from it called Revolving and Rotating.
SPEAKER_10Carry a cloud around all the time. Get a lost and never be found. Or drink them like you did when you were a child. Live it loud. Past, present, future, you decide. And for a penny a mountain to climb. Look for the line, it's deep inside, and go map alive. Tides will turn you, and seasons change you, years will age you, and memories make you life will question you, and you'll see answers, and if you find love God, reach out and respond, keep revolving, I'm rotating, keep revolving, I'm rotating, and you're a universe, grand design. God given you a price, the attraction, your refraction, stardust, you atomize, confused by the message, the rhythm, the rhyme. You can love if you want, love if you try. Don't let it all go past you by. Check your vital signs. Times will find you and seasons change you, years will age you, and memories make you life will question you.
SPEAKER_09You seek answers, you find love gathering, we changed, keep revolving, approaching, keep revolving, approaching, to fancy thoughts, no regrets come on, take a spin and see every sinew, with every last drop, blood, sweat, and tears, give it all you've got. You beautiful misunderstood, and mean it every time.
SPEAKER_10Stones in the road gotta follow that path. You gotta seize the day, go and take that chance. Step out of the dark and dance in the light, and hold out for a truth.
SPEAKER_09Seasons change, years will make you, and memories make you life will question you, you see answers, you find love God, which had pressed, keep revolving, and protein, keep revolving, and protect my chance, and that's you, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_18You're listening to the new music generator.
SPEAKER_01This is the new music generator playing you the new track from Far From Refuge that is called Pillars of Language. Now I have to say, they haven't actually submitted that track to us, they must have forgotten. But I wanted to play it. I saw that they released it and I saw there was another music video for it as well that I wanted to play it because I'm really into their stuff that they've released over the last couple of months. Um we played um Tempest um and Circuit uh over the last Tempest. Over the last couple of months. And that one they've all got really good music videos for it. That one is six minutes, and the music production on that uh video production on that is very, very good. That track is available now. The album is called edited language and uh it was released at the end of June. So um although the email must have got lost in the uh internet somewhere, I didn't find it and we didn't play it on the show. If you just tuned in, it's an eMusie generator. Um Wednesday on uh YouTube and across the on the A V digital radio also on a Thursday evening, hello if you listen to us there. And also whenever you want to listen to the show again as a podcast, and also on Spotify we can eat the in eMusie from across the East Anglia from North East from North Cambridge and from We will talk about festivals that are going on this weekend in the while. Or you can email email us at any time, inbox at any music generator at or this is a track from last week's playlist.
SPEAKER_09It's Dead Reynolds, it's called Someone Else must think this making me kind It's my time We'll be doing this, I'll leave it behind It's my time I don't want to stay, I don't wanna do nothing that's a day I don't want to stay, I don't wanna do nothing that's a day of things, stop It's like I don't want to tell, I don't want to die, that's the lift I don't want to die, I don't want to die, that's a lift you didn't see this coming, no one left to play dancing in the fire Cause I can't stay the same And I don't need forgiveness I don't need your help Nobody can feel this I do this for you I don't wanna stay, I don't wanna die, tonight Like that from the latest album release from Dead Reynolds, that is called Someone Else.
SPEAKER_01Evening, says this email, Sai from Lost Without Cause here again. Just wanted to say thanks so much for the support you've given the tracks we've released from our upcoming album called Mind Games. Uh we played um I know dark. Can't say I need you, and I get that now, and they've all had amazing responses from our fans and new listeners. We wouldn't have been able to have hit so many ears if it wasn't for you, where you flatter me that this Friday. Uh that is the last Friday, and that's actually in real time. We're releasing the final four tracks of the album to make it complete. Uh he said, Would you mind playing another track from the album which came out on June the 26th? And I said, Yes, send me one, tell me one to play. And he suggested that Made of Stone is getting some good responses.
SPEAKER_09I don't know what to say. But sometimes I open my mouth and it comes out anyway. Like a blind friendalayas. Like a castle train a painting just today. I don't know what to say, and I don't know what to do. It's like every star and planet builds around you're loose inside of everything in pain you've haven't all these choices and I know what to choose I don't know what to do I don't know how to feel When everything we believe and turned out not to be real You tell me I'm so proud to bring back to you You got all you wanted What did you choose to feel? I told you how to be all you help me find out what to say. I don't need this now.
SPEAKER_01I like that. Uh Sloss Without Cause and Made of Stone from the band's album that is available for you now. Forty-five minutes left of this week's programme. If you would like to send your music in for us to play in the next few weeks, you are very welcome to do so. Inbox at new musicgenerator.com. If you've got something coming up, something to release, the gig you're playing, let us know. We haven't had a guest in the studio for a little while. So I should really get around to doing that as well. If you'd like to come in uh to the studio, we're based here in Elyse if you've got to travel, I'm afraid, and I'll come to you. Um if you want to come in for an interview, um or you want to do a Zoom channel or something. Uh from After Black is going to create anything from After Black. After 21 years old, based in and around Norwich and is um promoted by our good friend Ian Johnson. This is Blyth released now, and came out on the 29th of June.
SPEAKER_09So the phone calls can get up.
SPEAKER_01Nice. Could I please, if you haven't already done so, direct you in the direction of direct direction? Point you in the direction of YouTube. Just come to my attention that we have 258 subscribers on our YouTube channel. Every um time we reach a particular monthline and the last one is two hundred and fifty, I like to read that and get to the next month. If you are listening to it on the radio, you haven't already liked it. Seven subscribers. I think he's from Cambridgeshire. And he's recorded a brand new song called Threads recorded in his living room. He's taken his first step into the alternative realm, he says. The song is about parental conflict and how it affects the children when they see or hear it. He also says, This is my first guitar solo on the song, which was so much fun. This is Threads from Dan Knight.
SPEAKER_09The big bad beat the heart to hear yourself that could take out of the head All you know the heart down What do you put out the door to the heart in the floor? So let's see, just well Justin for we death our side, we took all that the beast is the build up and bring out the border for that, just a pile on the flood, and the hearts are messed.
SPEAKER_08The thoughts that we made, I made them too. The pain that we care, like this a lot.
SPEAKER_01Like the new alternative Dan Knight with the guitar solo, that's threads. Available now. Next up is this song from Laura T. It came out on the 26th of June. It's described as an energetic upbeat dance pop track ready to go over the summer of 2026. Written by Laura Turner, who is Laura T, and produced by Youth Killed, it's Jack Murphy, aka Jack Murphy, the NG Award-winning producer. Hopefully, we get to see your dance moves, it says here. Well, I won't be dancing on camera, not after last week, but um Alex, if she's still listening, she might dance around her kitchen to this one.
SPEAKER_06Eyes never lie. I didn't see it in your stupid pretty eyes. Why, why, oh, why did I connect with your pretentious little eyes? Even my heart told me so. Ignore the reasoning that goes on in my mind The energy to control. I didn't hear what others didn't want me to Because your eyes don't lie. No, they don't lie. Because your eyes don't lie, they don't like eyes, eyes, eyes, eyes, eyes, eyes, don't lie, eyes, Eyes, light, light, light, eyes, eyes, eyes, light, eyes, light, light, light, light, light. Clear at the sky, the color and transparency. Let me see. Her eye lifts me higher. So why I couldn't even see. I look down at the ground. Everything is coming right. It's cloud in my mind. Can't even hear the artist. Because your eyes don't lie. I know they don't lie. Because your eyes don't lie. I don't think they don't die. Because your eyes don't eyes. Eyes, eyes, eyes don't lie.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yes, I like that. I like the kind of um salsa sort of Mediterranean feel to that song. I like the saxophone featuring at the end there. That is Eyes Don't Lie from Laura T. Very good, very good. You are indeed right. It is time to talk about uh one of the two festivals that's happening this weekend in our area. On the 4th of July, that is Saturday, at Trinity Marketing Switch will play host of the very first Halo festival. This is being organized by the company Halo that makes it out of time market. The main stage has got some well-known actors that you would love, including Tudor Cinema Club as a headliner, the magazines, the fashion betting field, the character for girls as well. SPEAKER_10Maybe all I'll ever please a bartender or a waiter at least then all I can do is drop a plate or a glass. Kick up my feet and watch my time go past without a purpose. I keep telling myself how much better life would be. There's not enough for my life for tryna be a sinner when I spend all of my time running around pointing fingers.
SPEAKER_07Without a purpose, I'm for the part. Without a purpose, I'm asked for the start.
SPEAKER_09Without a purpose, I break my own heart. I'm I'm safe. Just too weak to change.
SPEAKER_10Already wish that I have my hands upon my face. I feel abandoned in the shadows of his grace. I'm not clean. I am dirty when I'm awake and too thirty.
SPEAKER_09Did myself things that I know were gonna hurt? Just to know how it feels. Do I break down with all that I am coming in? I'm curious, and I am so confused. I don't see the purpose of it. Without the purpose, I break my heart.
SPEAKER_00With the purpose, break my own heart come in There's a big section at the end of this song where I invited pretty much everybody I've met in my music career, which does it there are some I missed, and I'm so sorry to the ones that I missed. Um it was a spreadsheet with like over 200 people in it. Anyway, we ended up with your shy of a hundred voices on this, and it's so special. I'm actually looking at two of them on the front row. There's a couple behind, there's a couple in the stairs, there's a couple around the room, and it's really lovely to see you. And thank you to everybody else in the room for being a part of the exercise and amazing.

SPEAKER_23City lies burning low. There's still some place that I've gotta go. It's you I'm thinking of It's you that I messed up, and fire burning in those eyes. Reminds me of someone. I want you to meet my family. I'm gonna tell them you're my wife. And do you realize there's something in those eyes? Isn't she loving? She might be with somebody now, and I don't really care about it. Cause girl, I won't let you get you on my mind. I say it all the time. You never listen to what I say, so it's time to say goodbye. And the fire burning in those eyes reminds me of someone. I want you to meet my family. I'm gonna tell them you're my boy. And do you realize there's something in those eyes? Isn't she loving? SPEAKER_09Got no direction, no sign of temption, but that's just normal human beings. Yeah. We'd like to be in five more years. Your life's exciting, romantic, unwinding. And everybody calls you dear. The movies never show you. The actors make in love at yeah. But I'm not that magic. No one is fantastic. A waste awaiting for days. My obsession with this But I can't even say something smoking.
