What are we not being told about Iran? What does the bible reveal about this ancient country?  You'll be surprised!

SPEAKER_01

We know a lot of people and the media are talking about Iran and the Middle East right now, but what we want to bring out is what's not being said. So our study today is Iran, the end of days. This is the prophecies of Jeremiah and Ezekiel. Our study is about two different prophets, two different ancient timelines, and one ancient country with several end of days prophecies. And it's not Israel. The two prophets that we're talking about, again, are Jeremiah and Ezekiel. So to give you a little bit of information about these two, from what we could find out, Jeremiah's prophetic journey started somewhere around 615 to 609 BC. And Ezekiel's journey started somewhere around 598 to 593 BC. So it's pretty commonly understood that there was like a 15 to 20 year difference in time between these two prophets. So before we go any farther, let's take a quick minute just so everybody understands what some of these abbreviations are for. Now, we all know that BC stands for before Christ, but you might also see BCE, which stands for before common era. So what's the difference? Well, BCE is used by the secular or non-religious world, while BC is used by pro-religious world. So a good example of this is like the secular world says happy holidays, while the religious world says Merry Christmas. So we prefer BC. So we've got two different prophets with two completely different prophecies about the future of Iran. And it's no surprise that they do not contradict each other. Let's take a look at Jeremiah first. Jeremiah chapter 49, verses 35 through 39. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the foremost of their might. Against Elam I will bring the four winds from the four corners of heaven and scatter them towards those winds. There shall be no nation where the outcast of Elam will not go, for I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them. My fierce anger, says the Lord, and I will send the sword after them until I have consumed them. I will set my throne in Elam and will destroy from there the king and prince, says the Lord. Now in this study you'll notice that Jeremiah speaks about the nation of Elam, while Ezekiel speaks about the nation of Persia. We have to keep that in mind that both of these nations were in what we now call modern day Iran. In the Old Testament scripture, Persia was at one time Israel's deliverer. Persia was also Israel's liberator and protector. But everything changed around 1979, and that's when the Islamic Revolution took over. Now, the nation that once took care and protected Israel all of a sudden again become the one nation that hated Israel the most. Their deliverer had become their most fierce enemy. Jeremiah and Ezekiel prophesied over 2,600 years ago about the deliverance and the judgment and exactly how all of this was going to happen. So where's Elam? Elam was located in the southwestern region of Iran. It's close to the region of Khuzestan province. Jeremiah prophesied specifically against Elam. The first part of this prophecy was about the breaking of Elam's bow. We just read in verse 35, the Lord said, Behold, I will break the bow of Elon, the chief of their might. And now in the days of Elam, we have to understand that their archers were considered some of the very best, if not the best, in the world. They were very precise and very deadly with their bows and arrows. So if the Lord was going to destroy Elam, he would have to break their weapons of war. And at that time it was the bow and the arrow. The understanding is if you break the bow, the arrow's useless. But what does that look like today? What weapons would represent the bow, and what weapons would represent the arrows? Well, the arrows would be the missiles and the rockets, it makes sense. While the bow would be the launchers. We've witnessed in just the last few days the United States and Israel have destroyed most of Elam's bows, which are modern day missile and rocket launchers above ground and below. So this prophecy is already partially coming to pass with the joint operations of Israel's roaring line and the United States' epic fury. But here's the thing: God said, I will bring the bow of Elon, not another country in a war. We're going to have to pay really, really close attention to everything else that happens from this point on, because the prophets describes an event coming that is beyond mankind's ability. It is specifically from God. Remember, I will break the bow, which means that it is so absolutely destroyed that it cannot be rebuilt again. When this event happens, the whole world will know and understand that this was absolutely from God alone. So don't be surprised if we actually witness something a lot like when Elijah called fire down from heaven. All of the people knew this came straight from God. No one doubted that. But so far in this world, with all of the destruction that's happened, every bit of it can be attributed back to mankind's weapons of war.

SPEAKER_02

Let's take a look at the second prophecy of Jeremiah. He didn't just prophesy that the bow was being broken. In chapter 49 and verse 36, he prophesies that Elam will be scattered. The scripture says, And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four corners of heaven, and will scatter them towards all those winds, and there shall be no nation where the outcast of Elon shall not come. Think about how powerful this part of the prophecy is. The people of Elam are not going to be just running across the border to escape the war. They're being scattered all over the entire globe. And that's how massive this part of the prophecy actually is. So what exactly could the four winds be that God uses to scatter these people? Do we believe they're actually physical winds from heaven? You know that could be. Could they possibly be judgments that are sent from heaven? Think along the lines of the seven trumpets, the seven bowls. We know these are judgments that are coming, according to the Bible. Could these winds possibly represent war, economic devastation, massive executions, political violence, food shortages, and total government breakdown. If these are the judgments of those four winds, then how long have we been witnessing these winds blowing and scattering the people of Elam or modern day Iran? This is where a lot of people get sidetracked with this prophecy. Most people think that this scattering will take place during this war that we're watching right now. But the truth is, obviously, it all started back in the 70s. In 1979, there was a massive regime change, which is when the Shah of Iran was taken out of power and replaced by the new Islamic Republic. The Ayatollah Khomeini, who was an exiled religious leader, returned on February 1st, 1979 and became the country's first supreme leader. At that time, hundreds of thousands of Iranians fled the country in every direction. That far back. A lot of them came right here to the United States. They went to Britain, Canada, and Europe, just to name a few of the other places. So don't look for millions of Iranians to be flying on thousands of airplanes or loading up on buses and trains to start this massive exodus or scattering. It's already been happening. And it's happening now. Even at the very specific time in our recent history up till today.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_02

Keep in mind that these people are not just poor little refugees. They are professionals, artists, business owners, engineers, scientists and families. The scattering's been happening for over forty years. Not just the 1979 revolution, but also the Iran-Iraq War of the 80s. Do you remember the green movement in 2009? There were a lot of protests then that led to thousands of people leaving. The protests of 2019 brought on crackdowns from the regime that were so severe that again thousands of Iranians left the country because they were not allowed to express their opinion. They had no freedom of speech and no peace. Remember, before the Islamic regime took over in 1979, Iran was a free country. It has been claimed that they were even a Christian country. And speaking of the crackdown on protesters, the world just witnessed 35 to 45,000, and that number could far exceed that. Iranian citizens murdered in the streets. I mean, this has just happened. This is not ancient history we're looking at.

SPEAKER_01

And this wasn't just once. I mean, we saw that happen over and over with the protest. These people, not trying to just jump in here on on top of all this, but these people were actually trying to change their country. Right. They were standing up and trying to change their country. Not like what we see today with a lot of refugees running from problems. These people had the guts and they wanted a change in their country.

SPEAKER_02

That's true. And you know, a lot of those people are still laying their lives down to have that country. There's a lot of people that want Iran to be a Christian country. These numbers change depending on which reports you read. You know, it's just like the news. You can pick and choose what you want to believe. Just change channels. That's all you gotta do.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_02

You know, these people were tired of the violent oppression that they'd been living under for so long. They wanted peace, freedom, and the only way to get that was a change in government. And they know that. They paid the ultimate price for the world to hear their voice. You think about that. It wasn't just a selfish for me motive that they were out there walking in the streets or, you know, rioting or whatever they were doing, you know. It wasn't just that. Those people did that for everybody.

SPEAKER_01

You know, Gail, let's let's look from there to what's happening in our streets now. We've got people that are trying to shut America down because of the very freedoms that the Iranian people laid their lives down for. We've got Gen Zers or whatever you want to call them, all the all of the protesters now, they wouldn't lay a drop of blood down for any kind of change other than something that they think is owed to them. It's a huge difference, but we're seeing like a cancer taking place in this country.

SPEAKER_02

We sure are.

SPEAKER_01

And if if something's not done very soon, we may find ourselves in the very position that the Iranian people are in right now. That's true. Not just protesting, but having to lay your life on the line trying to get a government change done. Not just people that's voted in, but a regime change.

SPEAKER_02

You know, Gerald, this country, America, has become such a lawless society that anything goes. All types of evil just allowed to take over and and control. And I shudder to think of where we're headed if we don't turn around. If people don't start looking and thinking and realize, look, this is not just in the history, this just didn't just happen two or three thousand years ago. Uh these people in this situation, this is a current event, things that are taking place right now, and God's not gonna just look at Iran and not look at America. He's he's looking, his eyes are looking over the entire earth. So there's some change that's got to take place.

SPEAKER_01

There there does. Now, everybody needs to pay real close attention to what's going on in in states like Michigan. What we see in in New York City right now. The very city that radical Islam attacked, the saying was never forget, never forget. Well, folks, a lot of folks forgot to the point of they have elected a radical Muslim to be the mayor of that city. That, Gil, that blows my mind. And see, just like with the regime takeover that happened in uh Iran, these feet, these people, they had their freedoms. I mean, they had the ladies' work, they, you know, they didn't have to wear all that covering, they wasn't suppressed, you didn't see hangings in the street. It was, they were a free country. We've got people again, and folks, you can call it racism if you want to, you can call it whatever you want to. The truth is the truth. We have got radical Islamists that want to totally change this country. They're not coming here to assimilate, to be a part of America. They're coming here just like they've done all over the world and every other country they have ever gone into, ever. They're coming to take over, and they do it a little bit at a time, a little bit at a time, until all of a sudden you've got a city like Dearborn, Michigan that is practicing Sharia law instead of constitutional law. Dearborn, Michigan, right now, is telling preachers and citizens, you're not wanted here no more. Y'all need to leave. You've got a foreign religious cult that is telling U.S. citizens and pressuring them to leave their own state. And that's how it has, not how it begins, that's how it escalates.

SPEAKER_02

That's how easy there could be an uprising in New York. You know, that's not a little bitty state if you want to.

SPEAKER_01

No, and there's gonna be.

SPEAKER_02

And you compare that and look over to Iran, you know, those people in Iran are fighting for their very life, but they're fighting for the whole people's lives. You know, they're there's blood in the streets. They need some help. And America and Israel and other people are joining in now to step in to try to help. And it's just gotta be. Otherwise, that whole thing caves in and it can't end like that. The Bible says it's gonna end different. So we're gonna have to keep our eyes on what the prophecy says is gonna take place.

SPEAKER_01

I want to say one more thing before we before we go on with the study. When the people of Iran started protesting, the response, the help that came to them was really late. And that's the reason a bunch of people got killed. That is the truth. No way to get around it. They were promised you rise up and help will come. Well, it did come, but you know, it cost, it cost thousands and thousands of lives. Now, this is something that we as watchmen, and I know I know there's thousands of watchmen out there, there's watchmen programs everywhere you turn, everywhere you look, and we thank God for that because we're all supposed to be watchmen. But folks, pay attention to this. If America starts to fall, nobody, no country is coming to our rescue. We won't have, like Iran's got America and Israel trying to come help them. We won't have that. China's not gonna help us, Russia's not gonna help us, Israel won't be able to help us. None of these other countries, Mexico, Canada, nobody is gonna come to our rescue. America has had to take a stand. Some people have called us the police of the world, so be it. Somebody has to keep control and keep things under control. But with these prophecies that we're talking about and will be talking about, there's some changes that are coming to this country. And Gail, I really believe that we're seeing the beginnings of those changes taking place right now. Okay, folks, let's move on to prophecy number three. This prophecy speaks about God setting his throne in Elon. That's a big deal. Now, this prophecy is very, very important. It's on the same scale as all the military things that we've been watching about, okay? So we have to watch the ruling class. We have seen them devastated during this war. Okay, but for God to actually set his throne in Elam or Iran, that means the ruling class has to be totally annihilated. Not just devastated, not just destruction, for God's throne to be set up in Iran, the regime, the ruling class right now has to be totally annihilated. Jeremiah chapter 49, go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

I was just thinking to clarify that, and we can't go into all that right this minute, but setting his throne in Elon is not to be confused with Israel and with Jerusalem and the thing that's coming. So he's going to get to that, but before you automatically shut that out, there's two different things going on here.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, just y'all just stay with us. It'll all it'll all come clear. So Jeremiah chapter 49, verse 38 says this God says, I will set my throne in Elam and will destroy from thence the king and prince, saith the Lord. Right here, folks, like we said, we've got to pay real close attention because what we just read speaks about two different things that are going to happen in this one prophecy. Number one, God is going to set his throne in Elam. Number two, God will destroy the king and the prince and the princes, all of the leaders, okay? And keep in mind, this prophecy started with God saying, I will. I don't want to run that in the dirt, but it's important for us to remember God said, I will. We have to understand that means God is going to fulfill this prophecy and not necessarily from a foreign army or military. So let's take a look at the second part. God said, I will destroy the king and prince. We know Operation Epic Fury has killed the Ayatollah Khomeini, the Supreme Leader. There were reports that around about 40 of the Ayatollah's leaders were killed right along with him in that first strike. And there was another number of leaders that were killed in the second strike when they were about to name the second supreme leader. You remember that? So you could say we saw the king and princes destroyed, but now his son, little Khomeini, has been placed in his father's position, which is still the supreme leader. Very important. So in reality, we still have a king and prince over Iran. We witnessed man destroy a king and princess. We have not yet witnessed God destroying the king and his princes. When God said he's gonna do something, brother, it will be done completely. So now the question is what's coming next? Will we see a supernatural power manifest and totally annihilate that regime? It honestly wouldn't surprise me at all if it was on the same level, on the same power scale that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Now, am I prophesying that or proclaiming that? The short answer is no, but again, I personally, and you shouldn't be surprised to see that kind of supreme power take place while the eyes of the world are watching. Again, if that happens, it'll be an event that people say that came straight from God. No question about it. No questions about it. We'll continue this in our next session. Y'all be blessed.

SPEAKER_00

And when tonight is a long dark, it seems I hear a prayer.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you for joining with us here at The Watchman's Call. My friends, Jesus is coming back very soon. The signs for his return are showing up all over the world, even as we speak right now. Our job is to reach as many people as we can and warn them about his return. And you can help us do that by sharing these messages with everybody you know. That means the saint and the sinner. Everyone must be warned, and we don't have much time left. Y'all be blessed and keep watching. And remember, leave us a comment to let us know your thoughts and concerns.
