SPEAKER_01I'm here for watching.
SPEAKER_00John 14 verse 2. In my father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. I wanted to start today's message off with this scripture because it is a scripture of great promise. You know there's been a lot of debate about this scripture itself. People say, why don't we need mansions in heaven? Well, I'm not really looking for a mansion. I'm looking for a place. Jesus said, I go and prepare a place for you. I read a different version of this scripture and it said in my father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. So to me, that really makes more sense than mansions, but either way, my point is this. I'm looking for my place with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know that there are a lot of prophecies that are being fulfilled every day. It's really almost impossible to keep up with all of them. And because of that, I wanted to take an opportunity to encourage all of us to keep up the fight and why we should. So I titled this podcast A Bright Future Just Ahead. Now, friends, as believers, we all know that our Messiah Jesus Christ is absolutely coming back to this earth one day very soon to receive us, to be with him forever. And I want to let everyone know what we have to look forward to, really. In 1 Thessalonians chapter 4, verses 16 and 17, the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. So after the wars are over, the earthquakes have all settled down, after the world has made war with Israel and lost in the Battle of Armageddon, we are going to witness the destruction of the Antichrist and the false prophet. Then we'll watch the archangel of God as he binds Satan with great chains and cast him into the bottomless pit. See, folks, Satan loses, and we have to keep that in mind, even to the point of reminding him just who he is and where he's headed. I tell him all the time, you don't have a snowball's chance on the fourth of July of making it to heaven, but I do, and I'm gonna give it everything I've got, and by the mercy of Jesus Christ, I will make it to be with my Lord and Savior. So let's start off with Matthew chapter 24 and verse 13. It says, But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Now I know we've probably heard that a thousand times, ten thousand times all during our lives, but let's just stop for a few minutes and listen to exactly what that one scripture means for those of us who endure to the end, we shall be saved. When we get to the end and we're watching Jesus Christ come back to this earth, we're gonna see one of the greatest promises that God has ever made to mankind totally and completely fulfilled right before our very eyes. Let these scriptures come alive in your mind. Revelation nineteen, seventeen through twenty-one, and Revelation twenty one through four, starting at verse seventeen. Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses, and those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great. Now we got to keep in mind this is not all flesh on earth. This is talking about the ones that are warring against Christ. These next few scriptures will explain it. Just a quick note right here. In these two verses we just witnessed God's wrath on mankind. Verse nineteen says, And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to make war with him who sat on the horse, and against his army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire, burning with brimstone, and the rest were killed with the sword, which proceeded from the mouth of him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. Now in these three verse verses we just witnessed the battle of Armageddon. We are going to watch that we're going to see it. Chapter twenty verses one through four says, Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that old serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. And he cast him into the bottomless pit and shut him up. I want to stop right there for a second. Says, and he shut him up. Think about that. We won't have to hear him for a thousand years. He shut him up. I take that as he physically shut his mouth, so we won't have to hear him for another thousand years. And then it says, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a while, and I saw thrones, and they that sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, or had received his mark in their foreheads or on their hands, and they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. This may be really scary for some folks. It might even sound terrifying to a lot of people. And if you're one of the ones who's caught fighting against Christ, it's going to be worse than any of that, even beyond your greatest fears and nightmares. But going back to Matthew 24 and verse 13, for those who endure to the end, that's us. That's God's people. That's going to be a time of great victory and celebration. We win. And that's just the beginning. Now, all the promises that we have ever read about, all the blessings that have ever been prophesied throughout time are ours to claim. We just watch Jesus take control of this world just like he said he would do. Now every government will bow to him, every person will kneel and proclaim he is King of kings. Folks, we are about to take part in a new beginning that no man has ever experienced on this earth before. The prophets of old, they could only see this time in dreams and visions, but we are actually going to get to live it. You have to, you have to really let that sink in. We are going to be living this, not just reading about it, actually living it. The thousand-year righteous reign of Jesus Christ and his saints has just started, and we are right there with him. What all will happen during those thousand years? Now, I I can't go into everything, so I'm only going to hit on some of the highlights, but I urge you to study for yourself to get all the details you can find out from your Bible. See, the more you find, the greater encouragement you will have to endure to the end. That's how it works, see. So number one, there's going to be millions of people that survived the tribulation, just like we just read about. It's only the armies of the nations that turn to fight against Christ and the beast, which is the Antichrist, and the false prophet that are killed or judged. The word says they throw into the lake of fire, so I'd say, I'd say they were judged. Jesus will reign over the rest of humanity from Jerusalem, which the Bible calls Zion. The people of the nations will love his leadership. We're told this in Isaiah chapter 2, verse 3, it says, Many people shall come and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways, that me we may walk in his paths, for out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. About this when next there will be total peace on the earth, according to Isaiah chapter two, verse four. He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples, and they shall beat their swords into plough shares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nations shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more. Just think about that part where it just said, He will decide disputes for many people. That means we won't be having any more lawsuits. There will be no more land disputes. There won't be any more gangs wreaking havoc in our cities and towns. No more killings. We won't have to deal with any more crooked government officials. There won't be any more family problems and disputes that cause hatred among family members. We won't have to guess at which church is right or wrong anymore, and true friendship will be totally restored. We don't have to worry about child predators, pedophiles, kidnappers, or murders. And we won't lose loved ones to drug overdoses anymore. Think about this. Diseases like cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, lupus, and Crohn's disease will all be healed and done away with. Folks, there won't be any more paraplegics. You won't see any more twisted bodies. We won't see crutches and wheelchairs because they won't be needed anymore. There'll be no more mental illness, no more insanity, and no more depression. You think what a blessing. What peace is that? This will truly be a time of absolute peace like God intended it to be. The Lord will be one and his name one. That means God's sovereignty is affirmed, and his kingdom is established on this earth. So what does Isaiah have to say about all this? Isaiah 11 and 6, just part of it. Verse 6 starts off The Wolf shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze, their young ones shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like an ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, and the wean child shall put his hand in the viper's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth shall be as full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters over the sea. There hadn't been this kind of peace on this earth since the fall of mankind. One more from Isaiah, Isaiah sixty-five and twenty. There's gonna be so much stuff going on, folks, it's just gonna be amazing. Verse twenty says, No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days. For the child shall die a hundred years old, but the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed. Now there will be people during the millennium that are not saved, so we got to keep that in mind. But there's scriptures that go along to tell what happens with those folks. All right, verse 21 said, They shall build houses and inhabit them. They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. Folks, we're gonna build houses and farms during this time. They shall not build and another inhabit. They shall not plant and another eat, as the days of the trees so shall the days of my people be, and my elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. This means that nobody is going to come in and take what you've worked so hard for. All that's done with. I've read in one story that people are going to live to be in their hundreds, just like before the flood. The streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets. People will be getting married and have children during this time in their natural bodies. They are the ones who will grow old, very old, and die. But the saints who were raised from the dead and the saints who made it through the great tribulation, they will be immortal. Now there's a whole lot more that goes along with all that to really get a better explanation, but you get the gist of it. So folks, that's really all the time I've got for today. But just remember, friends, this is just a small part of all that the Lord Jesus has for us during his 1,000-year righteous reign. There's so much more. It'd take me hours to cover all of it. If you don't know Jesus as your personal Savior, please call on him today to come into your life and forgive you of your sins. He's waiting on you to call on him. He wants to build a perfect relationship with you so that you can share and all that he has for you now and through the resurrection and through his thousand-year righteous reign, even to the white throne judgment and beyond. And that is his perfect eternity. Y'all be blessed. Thank you for joining with us here at the Watchman's Call. My friends, Jesus is coming back very soon. The signs for his return are showing up all over the world, even as we speak right now. Our job is to reach as many people as we can and warn them about his return.
