Have you ever noticed God repeating something and wondered if it meant more? Sometimes he uses small, ordinary things to get our attention, and sometimes it's a number. So recently Nazim received a word about entering a new era. It was simple, weighty, and very clear. Not long after our mom casually mentioned there are forty one days until birth. And she was saying this about another woman who was about to give birth and just randomly said, There are forty one days until birth. Anezim made a mental note, but then think anything afterwards. Unbeknownst to him, I had a dream. And in that dream, 41 was highlighted. Again, neither of us knew what the other was experiencing until later on when we started talking about it. Then later that week, after our wow moment, wow, this is God, he's all over it, I was watching the Winter Olympics, the men's hockey game between the U.S. and Canada, and the U.S. won gold. After the game, I discovered that the U.S. goalie had 41 saves. Of course, I started chuckling. I'm like, oh my goodness, Lord, you're all over this. And since it was the final event of the Olympics, I decided to look up the overall medal count. And I saw Norway's, and its total amount was 41. Now, I wasn't searching for this. I wasn't trying to make something happen. But when something like this continues to repeat, it perks up my radar. I pause. And for us, it became just a confirmation. We knew that we are entering in a new era. And with that realization came this thought. A new era requires new wineskin. If something new is coming, then something old may not be able to go with it. So I began asking the Lord, what from the previous season needs to be pruned? What mindsets am I still carrying that belong to an old chapter? What are some of the habits once served me but can't sustain me any longer? And I realized, you know, pruning isn't rejection. It's just about preparation. It is the quiet work God does before the visible shift. So if you sense change stirring, don't rush ahead. Just sit with the Lord. Let him highlight what needs to be released, what needs to be pruned out. Let him prepare your heart for what he already sees ahead. And maybe when something repeats, like 41 did for us, it isn't about the number itself. It's about a loving father whispering, I'm confirming this. Pay attention. I'm preparing you. And sometimes even a simple number like 41 can become a quiet reminder that he is speaking.
