Tidbit: Revelation of Jesus

Sara shares a powerful moment after reading Revelation that led to a vivid vision—and how it encouraged and edified Nazim.

All right, everybody. Welcome to another episode of The Sears Watch. I'm your co-host, Nazine, with Sarah. And if you two uh a few episodes ago, the one she did on Axe, uh reclaiming, was it like reclaiming your inheritance? Is that what it was titled?

Something like that. Okay. Well, I'm just noticing a theme in Sarah's life that's just beautiful. Because in that um particular episode, she got a very potent dreamer vision.

It was a dream.

Okay, dream. Dream and visions, often in scripture, are used interchangeably. The point is they were this was for from God. But she got it after reading the book of Acts three times in like ten days, and then God rewarded her, and it made it made everything just so much easier in interpretation and application. So that happened again. Sarah, you read Revelation twice in like what, a few days or a week?

Yeah, it was like two times in like two days.

Right. Okay. So you read it big chunk.

SPEAKER_02 0:55

Yeah.

Um, the translation you're using right now is ESV, correct? Uh, which is a more literal on the literal side. Um, the one I tend to go to is NSCB 95, but I do read the ESV a lot and NIV 1984. Those are just ones I've thoroughly read and have tested and I enjoy. I know there's other viable ones out there, but so you read it twice in a very short period of time, and then you had a vision that I'd love for you to share.

Oh, absolutely. So I was at Patrick's and I think I had just finished reading Revelation. And the reason why I was reading Revelation so much is because um the Bible study that I'm in. And something I learned from you was saying, why don't you read it several times before you go to the Bible study, all in one read? And so that's what I was doing. So, anyways, after reading it twice, uh, the second time was the day that we were going to, I was going to Patrick's for prayer. And as I was soaking in the Lord, I got this incredible vision. And at first it was very dark in the vision, but then all of a sudden I see this massive tree. Excuse me, excuse me, back up, forgot. I was laying at um bowing down at Jesus' feet. Forgot about that part. Um, I was bowing down and Jesus was there, and I all I could see was his robe and his feet. And I remember touching his feet. And then all of a sudden, I just see um it was almost like roots coming out of him, but they were golds and they were moving. And I was like, wow, where is this going? And it was this massive. Like, once I started getting pulled back, I could see like this massive root system, and it was gold. It was these just beautiful gold. And the way I described it, it looked like a tinkerbell, you know, that that kind of like no, it's really pretty. Like, that's how it looked to me. Um, the fairy dust, even though it's not fairy, but it was this massive root system in gold, and then I look up, and this root system created this massive golden tree, like it was huge. And I kept hearing the tree of life. That's what it looked like. I was like, wow, this is amazing, Lord. And as I was staring at it, I was looking, I always look in my vision where Jesus is. Like I try to fix my eyes on him. And so he had moved to the left, and I looked. And to the left, in the distance, I could see this city, and I remember seeing these massive gates, and they looked like pearl. Oh my gosh, they're huge. We don't realize how big. I was blown away how big these gates were, and they were made in pure, like I mean, it was pearl, but it was pure, and it was pure gold. It's you just can't comprehend it. And so I'm looking, and then all of a sudden I see people with like palm branches entering into this city, and it's Jerusalem. But I see them entering in, and then I notice a few people stop, and I realize I was like, oh my gosh, that's grandma. Oh my gosh, that's grandpa. And then two people I'd never met, but I um is my mom's brothers who had passed before we were born. So I saw them, then I saw our dad, and I'm like, but they are like, you know, with their palm branches, but they're looking at me, and I wanted to go up, but the Lord pulled me back. He's like, it's not your time, right? But I was watching them and they were like waving at me, and then they walked into the city with palm branches, and then the Lord took me up, and as we were getting higher and higher, I remember seeing the outline of the city, and it looked like the outline of a dove. And I was like, Oh wow, this is incredible! Wow, and then we kept going higher and higher, and he knows how much I love the stars, so he took me to the Milky Way, and it's I could go like this with my hands and just touch the Milky Way. That's how close I was, and I was like, this is so beautiful, and you couldn't, and then we were on water, like I was on a boat, and you couldn't tell like separation between the water and the night sky, like it just blended in. And I don't know how to describe it, but it was it was epic. It was so beautiful. But I could be like touching the stars and the galaxy. Ah, Lord, not one of these is missing. Like you can count them all. Like, this is incredible. And I just remember sitting there and just being enamored by him.

And that's how the uh the vision ended, I think.

Didn't you have like a roar? Wasn't there a roar or something? A lion, or is that another one?

SPEAKER_02 5:38

That was a probably a different vision.

SPEAKER_00 5:40

Well, two things. One, it was great that you remembered you're at his feet because that's important. Uh, one thing we need to learn to do that more. Um, one thing you'll find over and over again that this the gospels will often say such and such was at his feet. Such and such was at his feet. Luke does it like, I mean, four or five times specifically, and every single person that comes at his feet ends up leaving right, they rise up from that place really good. Like it's like at peace, healed. Um, it's really good when you're at his feet. Um, and so that's really important to recognize that. And the second thing was cool on my end, before you told me this vision, I was on uh had a morning shift very early in the morning, and I was walking to work just you know, enjoying the Lord, and he'll speak to me through physical options, objects, discarded objects often. And um on my walk there, like clear as day, there was a gold ring. And he said, pick it up. And the first thing it said is D-A-D, Dad. It even looked like my dad had a gold ring with like a um like a black, I don't know, jewel, I don't know how to say it, but the ring looked like like a the ring, like a ring my dad would wear. Uh-huh. So, and you know, personally, me and Sarah and I, so for Sarah to see that, so I've already had times where we'll my dad made it by the skin of his teeth, okay? Um, and it was a long struggle for salvation for him. I was a part of that journey, you know. So the Lord has since then showed me that He He made it, you know. Um, but for Sarah to get that vision, and then just before that, the Lord gave me that ring that said dad.

Oh, that's so cool.

It was just confirmation, like, man, he's really gonna be, I'm really gonna worship with dad one day. Wow, praise God, you know. God is that's awesome. So that was another thing. Is that thirdly, I just wanted to say that when you're sharing this vision, there's so much weight in my spirit. I can feel the weight of your vision as true. And it has everything to do, I know it has everything to do with not only is it a vision from the Lord, but it was soaked in the revelation of Jesus Christ. A book. Like when that's my that's my point what I want to say again, I just keep seeing happening with you, is every time you you devour a huge chunk of the word, book of Acts, Revelation of Jesus Christ, it amplifies, supercharges the gift of seeing and uh everything uh and I remember uh mom some years ago, I was telling her about rev uh uh Proverbs. You know, sometimes you just need to read the whole book in a very short period of time, and like um you'll be oozing with wisdom. And uh so she over the course of a couple days, she read, wrote it all. And so um she noticed uh the gas station, somebody she she accidentally backed up in the wrong spot or something, and somebody just flared out at her, really angry. And she suddenly was just like she responded in gentleness and it completely disarmed the situation. So she was telling me, and she's like, Wow, that's because I was reading all the proverbs. And immediately I remembered what Proverb talks about that. Proverbs 15.1 says, you know, a harsh reply stirs up wrath, but a gentle answer cools wrath, something like that. Something like that, yeah. I was like, wow, so just by you reading just a huge chunk of all the proverbs in a short period of time, suddenly you're oozing with wisdom to respond in a moment the right way. I was like, there's something to that, you know, look, I love zooming in and doing word studies, but there is something to just soaking, jumping into the word and just trying not trying to figure everything out, but just saying, Holy Spirit, help, and I'm just gonna read it and get in the flow for a while. And suddenly it just be it it starts, it's everywhere in you. The words are alive. And so there's something to that, just reading a big thing of it over and over before you get into the word study bit of it.

Well, yeah, because a lot of times I'm like, uh, Lord, I'm probably like I'm not remembering everything I read, but I know it's doing something.

I know it's doing something. I know when I read it out loud, um, the the word, your word is alive. It's penetrating through.

SPEAKER_00 9:50

So with this these reads, were you reading it um out loud?

SPEAKER_02 9:54

Um, I was, yeah, reading it out loud, then not reading it out loud. Sometimes I yeah, I do like I do I try to do different um things. Right.

Sometimes it's with the hard copy, sometimes it's listening to it. Okay.

Yes. And so, but I just like I always pray. I'm like, Lord, I know that this is doing something.

Praise God.

I believe it's penetrating through the atmosphere and it's shifting. I and it's alive.

SPEAKER_00 10:14

I I mean, I I I mean, I just feel I I feel like I want to cry. I'm serious. Because when I'm hearing your vision, I'm hearing also and feeling the weight of truth. And it's uh feels kind of rare to me. And it's just because, you know, you you followed some advice, just read it. Okay, you guys are gonna do a Bible study. The typical way we go about Bible study is one chapter a week, and uh takes you know a month before we read a little book of five chapters. It would take us five, take us 10, 15 minutes to read once. So you could have read it 30, 40 times and really getting a the meat and what it means. And and um, so you took that, you and both times I've seen the Lord completely rewarded, and it's so beautiful, and that vision I can take to the bank. And it edified me, it built me up, and it encourages me to keep reading the revelation again. So, like it's a package, and so that's what I want to say. As far as seer's watch is concerned, if you feel like you're a seer, where do I start? Well, start the Bible, get a hard, get the hard copy, a smooth translation again, and uh typically start more literal and then kind of work your way. But read it, get in the flow, draw near to him, he will draw near to you.
