Most battles aren't won the moment they begin.

Championships are won in practice. Wars are won long before the battlefield.

The same is true spiritually. Most Christians don't lose because they stop loving Jesus.

They lose because they forget whose victory they're standing in.

Paul has spent Romans 8 building an incredible case. There is no condemnation. God has justified you. Christ intercedes for you. Nothing can separate you from His love. You are more than a conqueror. Now comes the question:

What does someone who fights from victory actually look like?

The Christian life isn't about trying harder to earn God's approval. It's about learning to live from what Christ has already accomplished. Victory isn't simply a truth to believe on Sunday—it's a reality to walk in every Monday. Because Jesus already won the decisive battle, we can face every temptation, trial, and challenge with confidence in Him.

In this episode, we unpack three practical ways to fight from victory:

1. Preach the Gospel to Yourself — Before your feelings, fears, or the culture shape your thinking, anchor your heart in God's truth. Every day begins with deciding which voice you'll believe.

2. Walk With the Spirit — Victory flows from abiding, not striving. Stay close to Jesus through His Word, prayer, worship, and biblical community. Strength is found in relationship, not self-reliance.

3. Keep Moving Forward — More than conquerors don't quit when life gets hard. They keep praying, trusting, obeying, forgiving, and following because their confidence rests in Christ's finished work—not today's circumstances.

Ultimately, Jesus didn't die, rise, and reign so you would spend your life wondering if you'll make it. He secured your victory so you could walk with confidence every single day. The Christian life isn't pretending you're strong. It's trusting the One who already is.

Practical Challenge:

  • Tomorrow morning, before you check your phone, open your Bible.
  • Before you believe your fears, preach the Gospel to yourself.
  • Before you step into the day, remind yourself: "I am loved. I am forgiven. I am justified. I am adopted. I am more than a conqueror through Christ."
  • Walk out your front door already knowing how the story ends.

Because...

We don't fight for victory.

We fight from victory.

Welcome // Daily Rebel Mission

This podcast is for the ones who know they will rescue, but also know they will resent. Saved by grace, sent to live differently. We're not rebelling against God, we're rebelling against everything that keeps us free. Every day, we don't swing our opinions, we sharpen our lives on the word of God, the sword of the Spirit, guiding us, cutting through lives, and leading us one step at a time. We'll talk faith, identity, purpose, leadership, and what it really looks like to follow Jesus in a distracted world. Welcome to the Daily Rebel. Yo, what's good, Daily Rebels? Here we go. We're closing out the week. Episode 105, Romans

Romans 8:37

SPEAKER_00

chapter 8, verse 37. Here we go. It says this No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. So have you ever noticed most battles aren't won the moment they begin. They're won long before. Like championships aren't won on game day, they're won in practice. Wars are not won in one big moment. Listen, they are won through countless faithful decisions. And the same is true spiritually. You see, most Christians aren't defeated because they don't love Jesus. They're defeated because they forget whose victory they're fighting from. And Paul doesn't just say we're conquerors. Again, he says we're more than conquerors. So here's let me ask you this. The question is, what

What Does Fighting From Victory Look Like?

SPEAKER_00

does someone who fights from victory actually look like? Because here's the deal you don't fight to impress God. You fight because Christ has already won for you. And all week we've been talking about how Paul has been building towards this with suffering, pressure, persecution, sheep among wolves, being more than conquerors. Now it's time to live it. Because victory isn't simply something to believe, it's something to walk in. And the gospel isn't

Not Good News For Sunday, Strength for Monday

SPEAKER_00

just good news for Sunday, it is strength for Monday. Let me say it again for all my church people. The gospel isn't just good news for Sunday, it is strength for Monday. And if Paul says, in all these things, notice that phrase again not after them, not around them, but absolutely in them. You see, victory isn't found after the battle ends, it's experienced while the battle is still raging. And then he says, through him. That's the key. Not through discipline, your emotions, or willpower, but through him. Everything Paul is saying points back to the one reality. Jesus is the source. And we simply stay connected to him. Victory isn't something you achieve,

Victory Is Someone You Abide In

SPEAKER_00

it is someone you abide in. So maybe y'all three points to close out the week.

Point 1: Preach The Gospel To Yourself

SPEAKER_00

Number one, preach the gospel to yourself. This is truth before your feelings. Every morning you wake up listening to somebody, culture, or maybe it's your fear, your emotions, your insecurity, your flesh, or you listen to the truth. The battle for your life often begins with the battle for your mind. Before you check your notifications, you need to check your heart. Before you scroll social media, open scripture. Before you believe your feelings, believe God's word. Your feelings make terrible leaders, but they're excellent followers of the truth when the truth is set before them. My question is, what voice shapes your mornings? Every single day I've got to preach the gospel to myself that Jesus lived a life that I could not live. He died a death. I was condemned to die. And he rose again three days later, proving who he was. And every day I gotta remind myself that his death on the cross,

Galatians 2:20

SPEAKER_00

according to Galatians 2.20, was my death too. And that means that resurrection was my resurrection too. Listen, victory doesn't stop with truth, it grows through relationship, which leads

Point 2: Walk With The Spirit

SPEAKER_00

me to number two. You've got to walk with the Spirit. That is who your relationship with Jesus is with. You have to stay close to the source. You see, conquerors don't

Staying Close To The Source

SPEAKER_00

become strong by trying harder, they become strong by staying connected. Jesus said in Romans, in John chapter 15, remain in me, abide in me. You see, victory, it flows from intimacy, not independence. Prayer isn't your last resort. It is your first line of defense. It is your lifeline. And the word is not homework, it is your daily bread. Worship is an emotional hype, y'all. It is 100% spiritual alignment. You see, the enemy wants to isolate you because isolated sheep become easy targets. But when you stay close to the shepherd, when you stay connected to the flock, which is the church, and you stay planted in God's word, you walk with the Spirit. The strongest Christians aren't the busiest. They're the ones who are closest and behold the name of Jesus. Let me ask you this. What habits helps you stay close to Christ every day? Because then when the battle comes, you don't retreat. Which leads me to

Point 3: Keep Moving Forward

SPEAKER_00

number three. Keep moving forward. Faith doesn't quit. Being more than a conqueror doesn't mean life gets easier. It means you keep moving, you keep praying, obeying, forgiving, and trusting is showing up. You keep walking. Why? Because your confidence isn't built on today's circumstances, it's built on yesterday's empty tomb. So when temptation comes, remember the cross. When anxiety rises, remember the empty tomb. When shame whispers, remember your identity. When suffering increases, remember God's promises. When you feel weak, remember the spirit lives in you. Fight, stand, and trust and keep walking because Jesus already won. Again,

Monday's Battles Are Won By Sunday's Truths

SPEAKER_00

Monday's battles are won by Sunday's truth. You see, Jesus didn't just die so you could spend your life wondering if you'll make it. So you could walk with confidence. Not confidence in yourself, but confidence in him. Listen, the Christian life is not pretending you're strong, it's trusting the one who is. So tomorrow morning,

Practical Challenge For Tomorrow Morning

SPEAKER_00

before you check your phone, open your Bible. Before you believe fears, preach the gospel to yourself. Before you step into the day, remind yourself and just personalize it. I am loved, I am forgiven. I'm justified. I'm adopted. I am more than a conqueror through Christ. Walk out your front door already knowing how the story ends. The battle is real, the pressure's real, the enemy's real, but so is the victory of Jesus. Because listen, rebels, we're not fighting to earn his approval. We're fighting because Christ already secured our approval and victory. Stand firm and stay close. Keep moving and fight every battle from victory, not for it. Amen. Thank you for listening
