This is a conversation I’ve been sitting on for a while.

Not because I didn’t know what to say…
but because there’s so much I’ve seen - and it’s not something I take lightly.

In this episode, I share part one of why I’m choosing to homeschool my daughter, coming from my experience as a former Assistant Principal working inside the school system.

This isn’t about criticising schools.
It’s not about telling you what you should do.

It’s about sharing what I observed over time - and why it led me to make a different, more intentional choice for my child.

In this episode, we explore:

• How children are shaped by their environment over time
• The subtle but powerful impact of peer influence
• How comparison is built into the structure of schooling
• What happens when confidence becomes tied to performance
• The role of the nervous system in learning and behaviour
• Why regulation is foundational to how children learn

This conversation is for parents who are starting to question the system, or who feel that quiet sense that something about their child’s environment doesn’t fully align.

Not from fear - but from awareness.

This is about influence.
This is about responsibility.
This is about being willing to lead your child’s environment intentionally.

If this episode resonates with you and you’re wanting support in navigating this space - whether you’re exploring homeschooling, alternative education, or simply wanting to feel more confident in your decisions as a parent - I’d love to hear from you.
